Never thought I’d leave a review for an urgent care but I had to after my first experience today. Every single staff member was friendly and cared about each other and patients. I even heard a patient go out of their way to tell a provider how nice they were. I also came in as a walking and they got me in right away even with lots of other appointments scheduled. Clearly their staff culture and processes are working well. They were so sweet with me that I was taken aback —- this is how all medical centers should be! Just really impressed. Please don’t change!
Made appt online - Check in was a breeze with a typical wait time. Shantae is such a kind and pleasant person. The Pa-C, Beza, was thorough and very kind as well. Just an overall great experience. The clinic itself was clean and simply appointed, as well as efficient. I’m from out of town and they are in network with UHC so that’s a plus too. I will choose this clinic again if necessary when I’m in the area.
Im supper happy that finally Im in wright place! Stuff very kind , friendly and pleasant! My Dr.Dipa - Im speechless! She is so kind, taking time to explain everything what you need to know about your health. Her kindness and how he care about patience above and beyond.I giving all of you 💯 stars.Continue to do good job, make people happy, even when they coming to you with health problems
I have to say, out of all the urgent care centers Ive been to, this one is definitely the best! As soon as you walk in, youre greeted by everyone. The office is spotless and the staff are incredibly friendly - they all have smiles on their faces and theres no negative energy at all. Plus, theyre very knowledgeable. Also no long wait timeI will start coming here more often.
I feel the Provider tried their best to give me the care I needed. But they did not fill out the x-ray order properly. I called the number on google, on the x ray order, on the business card that I grabbed on my way out; every call went to a service center and I could not get ahold of someone who could correct the x ray order. This was a waste of 4 hours of my day, and my medical issue was not helped.
I recently visited trüHealthNow and had an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was courteous and efficient. I was seen quickly, despite being a walk-in.The Physicians Assistant (PA) who treated me was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. They took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly examined my condition, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I felt heard and reassured throughout the entire visit. The PA, Bezawit Kuma, provided a clear treatment plan and made sure I was comfortable with the next steps before I left. Their expertise and compassionate approach made a stressful situation much more manageable.Overall, I highly recommend trüHealthNow for anyone in need of urgent care. The service was top-notch, and the care I received was exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to return if needed!
Went in for routine lab work this morning and got seen by Andrea. She made sure I was okay before starting, got it done efficiently and let me know when I would have the labs back. Easy process overall!
I visited this urgent care twice and both visits are terrible,I never heard about urgent care doctor will see you by appointment only !!!!!!And must be a primary physician to check u up !!!!Then why it called urgent care !??I already have my primary physician and went to you guys to be checked urgently without appointment processAnd the most important part is the front desk, the keep look at the patient and whispering and laughing at patients face, they always ask a stupid questionsI wish i can go below one star! Not recommended at all
Straight to the point. There was a slight language barrier with the Nurse Practitioner. I felt they did not listen to anything I said, I kept being cut off when I talked, definitely felt rushed. Unfortunately the whole reason I went wasnt even addressed. Im not sure if there was only one provider and it was too busy? Regardless. At least (in my experience) other places I have been, the provider addresses the reason you made the appointment. I hope it was just an off day for everyone.
Ive been coming for 10 years now. Dr. Raval is the reason I just wont switch to anywhere else, and Ive been to many general practitioners. She is the sweetest, caring, doctor, and truly believes in medicine and will do her best to get you well. I hoek she never leaves this little urgent care!
Went to get seen for an issue that was slowly but surely escalating. By the time I arrived my pain started to reach its peak. It got to a point where I could not breathe properly because it hurt so bad to do so. They called EMS and I could hear one of the nurses saying I was having a panic attack which was absolutely not the case. If they had listened when I explained the issues and symptoms the first time, they would understand that I was not panicking. I actually couldn’t if I wanted to because hyperventilating and even crying too hard made it worse. I was simply just forced to take short breaths, like I said. Repeatedly. I literally could not take proper breaths. I couldn’t say this enough. I was sent to the ER and eventually admitted into the hospital that was a hr away due to all other hospitals being full. The issue was that my car was still there in their lot in literally the first spot. Their front lobby area is nothing but windows. You can see my car from the desk. When I called from the hospital to ask if my car was okay to sit there, the female on the phone kept forwarding my calls elsewhere. She then stopped answering my calls until a doctor picked up. I asked if it was the location in Alexandria off of Telegraph road to be sure I had the correct location. He said yes. I told him what my car looked like and that I just needed to know if it was okay sitting there or not because of my location and that I had been admitted there but they refused to answer. You literally can’t miss the car so I still don’t understand the issue. Again, it was in the first spot available right next to the handicap spot. I explained it all but still no assistance. So my boyfriend was forced to drive a hour to the location, because we were convinced the car had been towed if they were refusing to answer such a simple question, just to find it sitting there. The staff can be a bit rude and careless to the simplest of requests and needs. If a patient who was trying to get seen there has to then be rushed to the hospital, why not help alleviate some of their stress? It was a simple yes we see a grey Kia sportage out there or no we don’t. Simple. Not all of them are careless but as a healthcare worker, especially this being my first experience outside of military services, I was disappointed in how they handled such a minuit situation even after explaining what my current status was.
Initial visit was awesome!!. Totally excellent. BUT, then-- I had a phone message on Sunday afternoon saying that my lab results were available. I called your office on both Monday and Tuesday and was told that I could not be given the lab results. So my rating for you has dropped from 10 to 2 , just below INOVA. How could this happen? Please fix your system. Please.
I was very pleased with my experience at tru Primary & Urgent Care. I was able to easily and quickly schedule an online and same-day appointment. Everyone from the front desk person, to the medical assistant, to the attending nurse practitioner (Jung Kim), were lovely. I did not have to wait long to see someone. I felt that my concerns were heard and I was quickly tested and diagnosed with covid and given prescriptions. Jung Kim was so sweet and lovely. I will absolutely come back to this clinic for my future medical needs.
I had to bring my baby in and everyone made me feel so calm. The dr & nurse team were so kind & easy to talk to. They took care of my baby with care and I would definitely recommend them!
TruHealthNow is a scam. On April 11, 2024, I was seen by Bezawit Kuma, who clearly lacked experience. She reviewed my medical history and prescribed medication based on that alone. I requested a strep throat test, but they informed me that their tests were unreliable and always returned negative results.During this visit, I was charged twice: first $175 and then $125. Later, I received a bill for $250, and they also billed my old insurance, which is no longer active. When I disputed this, they sent me another bill for $45, deducting what I had already paid for the strep throat test, which they had assured me wouldnt be charged due to its inefficacy. Despite informing them that I had no insurance, they attempted to bill me anyway.Last year, they did something similar to my mother. They took lab samples but never provided the results, and they billed her insurance. Ive spoken with both the manager and the billing department, but no one has given me a satisfactory response. This facility needs to be audited by the Office of the Attorney General (OAG).
Nice and Clean and not professional. I never got my tests... by Bill somehow for a free fizical exam was 800 plus... i got all kinda text messages from their cabinet... i wish I dont have to come here again.
Jung Kim is a wonderful doctor she has been taking care of me for almost 5 years now and since I met her I have been very happy the way she addressed my issues thank you!
PA Bezawit Kuma has been outstanding, helpful, courteous, shows concern, and knowledgeable. Also , the medical staff are great.
This clinic and Dipa Ravel has changed my life. I am so charmed and impressed by the level of care I receive from TruHealth. Amazing staff and attentive, knowledgeable and sincere doctors. Always a wonderful experience. My issues are always addressed and I feel seen & heard. Dr. Raval takes her time and never rushes me and shows an incredible amount of trust, empathy, and respect for me as a patient. She takes the time to explain everything and answers questions and concerns I may have without showing any impatience. My health has improved since going to that clinic and I feel more in control of my well-being. I can’t stress the rarity of finding a doctor that listens and actually cares. This clinic makes me feel respected, at home, and empowered.
It is always a great experience. Dr Rival and Diana are wonderful. I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Rival she is kind and considerate and puts her patients first!!!
The place is very clean and the staff were great! Nina was the nurse who assisted me. She is very professional and accommodating.
I love this practice so much that after I went to their Urgent Care a couple of times, I decided to make them my Primary Care physicians. I have seen at least 3 of the docs - all women and they have been warm, caring and simply charming! They listen to my concerns and input and although I know they’re busy, I never feel rushed. I really feel heard - which I have found is not always the case with doctors.I love that they are also an Urgent Care facility so they are open 7 days a week and I can either make an appt OR JUST DROP by. No worrying about not being able to see a doctor when you need it. Last week I was feeling poorly and really did not want to go out in the bad weather. They offered a virtual appt and I really appreciated that! I highly recommend this practice!Debby C
Dr. Dipa Raval is exceptional. Her and her team always provide exceptional medical assistance and expertise. I highly recommend her and her team for medical needs.
I was able to make a last-minute appointment for my daughter’s ear ache. The practitioner was kind and thorough.
At first I was happy with my experience. I thought the staff was friendly and the doctor knowledgeable. The doctor did do what she could to help and be super cautious.BUT I use the message portal and no one answers. My prescription was never submitted. I’ve tried to contact the doctor to have the prescription sent no luck. The receptionist rushed me off the phone when I called inquiring about my Medication. I have to go back up to the clinic today and hope to get a prescription and they are friendly.I will never use this place again. I have it 2 stars because the Doctor was great until she didn’t send the script. Nothing nice about anyone else
Jung Kim is the best doctor Ive ever had. Will never stop seeing her for ANYTHING health related!
This place sucks. I was really sick and they did routine checks, gave me a prescription for antibiotics and sent me on my way. No explanation, nothing in writing - just goodbye. I was sick as a dog for another week.
The reception staff and medical assistants and nurses were good. The provider, was quick, fast, no bedside manner and did little in the way of explaining things to me. This is the second or third time to see her and I feel like she’s annoyed that she has to see patients and they might actually ask her questions. I’ll go further down the road where I know there’s someone who will be quick but at least answer questions and not treat me like I’m an inconvenience.
Dr Dipa Raval and Nina are the best. My parents love them and don’t want to see any other medical provider!
Staff in the Reception are friendly. The Doctor and the nurse are friendly & very easy to communicate with. Quick process as well!
I scheduled an appointment and waited 2 hours, this is more than running behind or an emergency occurring (no ambulance in sight). After waiting 2 hours in visible pain in the waiting room, I got to the exam room to be told they wanted to call an ambulance as they were concerned for symptoms and pain and didn’t want the liability of examining me and then something occur. So how could you leave me in the waiting room for 2 hours? And although symptoms and pain could have landed me somewhere else, having worked in medical I knew I was also appropriate for acute care to start. They ended up completing the basic vitals and then gave me heart burn medication. Yet the kicker of it all was a bill I received which indicated my insurance had denied the claim and I had to pay in full. This is very odd as my insurance is amazing and listed the clinic and providers as approved. When I called insurance, they indicated they NEVER had a claim submitted for that date or any service from that clinic. I called the clinic and they acted like they had sent it and it was denied. I had to confirm multiple times I in fact did speak with the insurance company for the individual to mutter something and then finally say he’d resubmit the claim. Sooo how many people have paid in full because they say insurance kicked back the claim when in fact it was never submitted. Bad clinical care with insult to injury or financial misrepresentation.
Honestly why is this place even open I took my son bc he was having a bad rash and he suffers from eczema and the Provider said she couldn’t Prescribe anything for that she would just refer him to a dermatologist, so why are you even a doctor girl go home?the reason I brought him here was because I work and I couldn’t take him during the day to his doctor thats why im saying why is this place even open if they’re not even doing their job, correct?
Convenient online scheduling and prompt and efficient care. I will use them on weekends and holidays when needed. Great community resource.
The tru health on Telegraph Road is where my primary care, Dr Dipa Raval, is located. She has an abundant amout of knowledge and always takes time to talk with me during the visit. She has a great rapport with patients and wonderful bedside manner. The new office is very appealing and the staff is always supportive and helpful!
This place is has the worst waiting time! I arrived a 8:00 AM, I was the third person in line and I still ended up waiting for 2 hours to be seen!!! It’s unbelievable!!! They had like 7 people working at this place and all they do is walk around coming to the glass window to look around. I don’t recommend this place. It’s the WORST !
Dr. Raval and her nurse Takarra are the most wonderful team to work with. If you’re looking for a new primary care doctor—you could not not find a better one. Dr. Raval is unlike any doctor I’ve ever met(and I’ve seen more than I can possibly count due to chronic and systemic issues). She is compassionate, takes her time, explains everything in detail, and answers all questions with patience. Her bedside manner is unmatched. Her nurse is amazing and they are both as genuine as they come. I’m so glad I found such a dream team. The entire staff is kind and accommodating. If I could give a 10 star review I would. 10/10. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice.
Very friendly staff and excellent service I would come back here anytime
This facility is filthy. It is the medical office version of a slumlord apartment building. All of the furnishings have stains and smears of who knows what. The entire time, I kept thinking about the probability I would pick up an infection from being in a medical environment where hygiene is not a priority. The PA I saw asked me to validate her diagnosis. I didnt go to medical school or even PA school. To top everything off, the specimen collected ended up not being tested, and no one could explain why.I had been here once before for employment related testing quite a while ago, and everything seemed normal to me. Perhaps the change in (probably corporate) ownership has been a huge disadvantage to this place.
Wonderful place if you’re in need of urgent care. Dr. Eric and his staff are incredible. The process to check in and make an appointment is so simple and everyone is so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
Jung Kim was very professional and expert nurse practitioner at urgent care. I felt great in no time and much stronger than ever. . She knew exactly what was wrong with me right away and treated me. She is so beautiful inside and out and really cares about her patients. Jung listens carefully and understands me not like other doctors who don’t have time for you and don’t say much. Truhealthnow Alexandria is the best! We need more doctors likenJung Kim..
My visit to this urgent care center was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I felt valued, cared for, and confident in the medical attention I received. The combination of efficiency, professionalism, compassionate care. I highly recommend this place :)
I was warmly greeted when I entered this office and was checked in promptly. The staff and the doctor I saw were pleasant and efficient. Amit was able to help me with my blood work results. Overall I had a fantastic experience and will be returning.
Examination pro forms in a timely manner. Easy at talking to professional workers. Will come again.
Quick and the staff was super understanding of how bad I was feeling. Another Emergency room basically told me there was nothing wrong with me expect my white blood cell count was high. I decided to get a second opinion and this doctor was able to find out what was wrong in a quickly manner
I went to be seen got called back right away. I had a list of all my medication and they just ignored them and keep on asking me over and over. I saw the doctor and even before seeing me she wrote down antibiotics. Never took me seriously or listened to what I was explaining. I felt like I was crazy because I was telling her my symptoms and see just told me I had a sore throat. DO NOT GO HERE
The receptionist is very rude and the doctor as well I was referred by the employer and I had the appointment for drug test. When I arrived it 11:43 and my appointment was 11:46 the receptionist said it’s going to be expired in few minutes and she expended time to make it expired she was very rude and when I wanted to talk with their manager she asked a nurse and the nurse also showed me the wall clock and said it is expired on that time it was 11:47 they made it my schedule appointment expired and didn’t do my test.
This office has a problem with getting clients in a timely manner for their test and out. I arrived at 10:00 AM for a simple test, and an hour later I was still waiting to be call in for my test. The person next to me said she had been waiting for almost 2 hours to be called for her simple test. This office needs to work on timely. Clients time is importantThe tech in the pink smock in back, I found to be a bit rude. I know this is a routine procedure to you, but customer service and poiltness is important when dealing with the public.
Dr. Raval had been my primary care physical (PCP) for several years now and she is absolutely remarkable! Over the years she has always been extremely patient and thoughtful in her care. She is open to having discussions about any issues or concerns that I may have and always make me feel comfortable about any plan moving forward. I highly recommend this facility but specifically Dr. Raval if you are looking for a great PCP!
The staff was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. After the appt when trying to get my daughters prescriptions filled was a headache and I didn’t feel anyone was willing to help me resolve the issue. It wasn’t until the next day that they finally called in my daughters prescription.
Dr. Raval is the BEST doctor I ever had! She is timely, asks all the right questions, and even shows some level of sympathy. Her staff is very helpful and they all work hard. I highly recommend her services to anyone who needs a new provider in NOVA. We will be loyal patients as long as we live here!
I was in and out for my employment drug screening. Virtually no wait! Hannah took care of me. She was extremely professional and friendly in her customer service! Would definitely come here again and would also recommend!
This facility was well maintained and had a welcoming atmosphere that put me at ease during my visit. The wait time was minimal and I was treated with compassion and respect. An employee named Amit was especially kind and helpful and I will be back for all of my medical needs.
Lord yes my second time going here but I dont think it was the same staff ...but yes there are very professional ,kind, and knowledgeable about your health and well-being. I was very pleased with the service they provided for me ..I highly recommend anyone and everyone to go to this marvelous clinic I promise you wont be disappointed trust me...they deserve 10 stars instead of 5..praise God I found a place I can go thats is caring.
We’ve used this location as our primary care for a few years now and are always pleased with the personal attention. Even after a year without needing care, we are always greeted by the doctor as if we’ve been in recently. Thorough examinations and follow up keep us coming back. Keep up the great work!
Very professional staff. Had me in and out in 15 minutes. Highly recommend!!
Shawnta Green is the epitome of superior customer service and satisfaction. She mastered the subject manner of her job and those around her. She is an supreme asset to this business and I hope they don’t lose her. People like her are rare and deserve to be promoted. Great job corporate and management when you chose her. I will definitely be back for all mine and my families needs!
The Nurses, NPs and Doctors are all so wonderful here. Dr. Raval is one of the most compassionate doctors Ive ever met and always makes you feel comfortable and is very knowledgable. Takara has such a great bedside manner and really knows how to keep a patient calm. Jackie, the Nurse Practitioner is extremely caring and helped answer all my questions and concerns. They are all very knowledgeable and never make you feel rushed! Thank you!
Personnel: polite and competent. This review is not about the people.Appt system: broken and useless. Wasn’t seen until 70 mins after appt time.Potential solutions:1. Scrap appts altogether if they can’t be honored promptly. Customers expect long waits for walk ins, not appts.2. Provide constant updates for wait times. No one gave me a single update until I asked 45 mins in. These wait times should appear on the website when booking appts; text updates prior to appt; in waiting room, etc.
Overall everything was good when visiting but was trying to figure out why I was asked if I had an appointment 6 times by a lady who took my height and weight for my physical and the front desk person. Isn’t there a way to see online who has an appointment or is coming in by name? I thought it was very unnecessary to ask that multiple times when it was already answered. That would make somebody feel like they were lying and you did not believe they had an appointment. Utilize your online system for that. But overall everything else was good. -AN
Everyone was professional and friendly. They took the time to talk to me and were very careful with me.
I am very pleased with my experience, every time I visit the Medical facility. I was always treated with great care and respect. Everyone is very nice especially Amit Ajmani at the front desk. He is very courteous and exhibit highest level of professionalism. Thank you very much for being there.
I rarely take time to detail experiences but I just left this place and hope that by writing this it may calm my nerves. TERRIBLE. I previously worked in the medical field for over 10 years and I do not recommend this place.
Wow! I was in and out very quickly. Everyone was kind and professional. Exactly what I needed when I was feeling so sickly. Glad I went instead of waiting the extra day for my GP. Feeling better already, meds are working.
Staff were friendly and efficient. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. I was in, diagnosed, and out with a prescription within 30 mins. Only downside is the facility is a bit run down/dingy. 5/5 for staff.
Dr. Raval is very compassionate. She takes her time and listens to her patients. She very knowledgeable and never makes her patients feel rushed. The staff are very professional and she has a great Phlebotomist!!!!
Very efficient, clean, ready to help a patient @ answer any questions that may be asked.
DONT COME HERE!!!!!!I was told by a friend to come here because of a nice spanish Doctor . I DID NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR, I EVEN CALLED TO SEE IF THAT SPANISH DOCTOR WAS IN, AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE….WHEN I GOT THERE THEY WERENT IN!!! Problem #1- they lied.Instead, my partner waited A LONG TIME (problem #2) while I saw the front desk staff having an argument with their boss (Problem #3).The previous posts I think are fake because the staff (who were disorganized) were complaining about this “AMIT” girl being shady and posting for ratings. (Problem #4)I came here once and already know the tea, unprofessional. Go and wait hours in the ER. Makes no difference.1 star for the female doctor that gave us antibiotics.
Medical access owes its success to people like Amit Ajmani who go above and beyond to provide the best possible care for patients. He made my visits to the clinic so much smoother and was always available to help, even during off hours. His commitment to medical access is commendable.
Amit was the Hero of the Pandemic! I manage a dental clinic and anytime we needed assistance during the pandemic with a test her would make sure we had a scheduled test and results quickly. Always very easy to speak with and very accommodating. I recommend Amit to anyone!
I hit the jackpot when I discovered & selected Dr. Raval as my PCP. Over the years she has been able to quickly & effectively identify & treat my various medical issues. Her bedside manner cannot be topped. She often has a waiting room full of patients, but when its my turn to be seen, she treats me as if Im her only patient. Dr. Raval has come up with treatment plans that have actually worked for me. Shes detailed oriented, empathetic & has emotional intelligence. She keeps me foccused on my current medical issue even if its sensitive & difficult for me to face. I could go on and on with wonderful adjectives that describe why I keep Dr. Raval as my PCP. But instead, I encourage anyone reading this review, to find out for yourself how & why shes the amazing doctor she is. Its important for me to note, I have not always liked her staff. That has all changed. She now puts each new hire through a rigorous interview process. And I can honestly say her staff are now the best of the best.
They had me wait 1 hour to take a simple drug screening..the gentlemen upfront as a receptionist just gave a I dont care attitude. Pretty ridiculous, dont go there. Anywhere else is better service.
Very friendly, caring, & professional staff, makes you feel welcomed. Definitely recommend for sure
Made an appointment for my 95 year old grandmother using the QR code for urgent care at 10:55AM and even after waiting an hour, we weren’t seen. Other people that came in after us were seen first.
Excellent service and outstanding customer support. Amit the Manager, could not have been more accommodating for all of our medical needs. From CDL medical cards for our drivers to COVID-19 test. They have done great for us.Thank you Medical Access!!
Do not recommend, at all. You will be given incorrect information from the beginning, including the answers to basic questions such as out-of-pocket prices, appointment time will be lost and there will be no accountability on behalf of the provider.Seek care elsewhere.
Great facility for Urgent Health needs or Planned appointments. Dr. Takhar is one of the most detailed oriented physicians ever met. Great staff from phone to in-person help. Highly recommended
One of the better experiences in USA thus far. Very caring staff and nice doctors. They followed up regularly when I was down with COVID. Special mention to Mr. Amit who has been very helpful always.
I had an exquisite experience when I visited Medical Access. Amits assistance was truly invaluable, as he effortlessly facilitated the completion of my tasks. I highly recommend paying a visit to this establishment. Once again, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Amit for his exceptional support.
Excellent care and they provided a quick service to us. I’m surprised to see how a clinic was so well managed like a symphony.Amit really helped me in getting seen by the doctor. I will come back if needed to this place.
Went in for sciatic pain and they said they would put in a prescription for it and it’s been 3 days and they still haven’t put the prescription in and I’ve tried calling atleast 3-5 times a day and they don’t answer. The one time she did answer, she said she would call me right back. She never did. 100% would not recommend. If you need instant relief, go somewhere else.
Great urgent care. I had Drug test Tariq help me very will.
This location is terrible. The lady with black and blond locks had extremely rude counter service. The ridiculously long wait times for covid testing was terrible. Inefficient. I had an appointment for 4:00. I was 4 minutes late. I apologized, filled out the paperwork(which I dont see why if I filled out the information online earlier!) and didnt get seen until almost an hour later. I walked back in after being told to wait in my car and asked whats happening because I had my appointment scheduled for 4:54. Whats the point of an appointment? The nurse who administered the test was really nice. Thank you to her! Front desk Customer service needs to improve.
Dr. Dipa Raval is the smartest, most sensible physician I have known. She is careful, thorough and intelligent. She has now officially become my and my family’s primary physician. I’ll follow her to Alaska if I need to.
I have felt much relieved after visiting Medical Access in Alexandria VA. I need to talk about three persons taking care of my medical needs. Dr. Dipa Rawal is a great doctor. Her way of diagnosing ailments is highly professional. She is an epitome of humanity in medical profession. Miss Takarra is professionally trained in paramedics. For the first time in my life, I didnt feel pinch pain of injection. Last but not the least, Mr. Amit Ajmani is highly and ethically professional in taking care of billing part. Their genuinely smiling faces helped me feel better instantly.
Quick professional and pleasant service. My first encounter with Urgent Care, am very impressed and would recommend as well as return!!
NOTE: I made this review years ago, but apparently didnt post it back then. Its here now though. My visit was fast and thorough. Even though there were several people ahead of me, I didnt have an insanely long wait. The nursing staff was very polite and professional. My doctor was a very professional, smart African American woman who took the time to listen to all my problems and gave me great care. Overall, the experience was everything I needed and wanted; therefore, Ill definitely be visiting this location again in the future. BK
Clean facility. Nice staff. Extremely slow wait even with not many people here
I have utilized this Urgent Care center for routine needs for the past few years. Although I have been satisfied with the care provided by the MD, Dr Raval, over this time I was less than satisfied by the competency of the staff in obtaining vitals, lack of follow up, and in one visit their inability to successfully draw labs. I was willing to continue to utilize the clinic and have labs drawn elsewhere due to my satisfaction with Dr Raval. However, I recently brought my child there to obtain a routine vaccination and my child ended up being injected with the wrong vaccine due to negligence on the part of the staff, at which time I discovered were all M.A.s with no RNs on staff. Fortunately my child was not negatively impacted by the vaccine, however this dangerous negligence is completely inexcusable.
I loved this medical practice from the moment i walked in. The office was clean and modern. The staff was extremely kind ajd welcoming, especially a young gentlemen named Amit who assisted me with a concern. I highly recommend this practice.
EDIT:The doctor- Jackie was amazing, she was extremely kind, explained everything really well and was so pleasant. The only reason they get 3 stars is because of her. See below for initial review:I would advise you to GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!We had an appointment, signed in, sat for 40 minutes before I asked if we were going to be seen, the rude lady at the desk said I’m checking you in now… 40 min after we originally signed in.They take appointments online but take all walk ins first, APPOINTMENTS DO NOT TAKE PRIORITY. WALK INS TAKE PRIORITY HERE.I don’t mind waiting, I know everyone is sick right now but what I can’t stand is rude customer service. If you don’t want to explain to people what is going on and why you are taking all the walks in first then maybe you shouldn’t work with people….Never again, I would strongly advise everyone go to other places or be extremely disappointed.
I dont think this location has strict processes for handling the traffic of clients.Went in for both rapid test which I needed result today, and pcr for additional confirmation. Made sure to go at 1pm to allow 4 hours before they close in order to get the result. Lady at desk was eager to say Id get tesult a on my phone . 4 hrs later no result. now place is closed. Subscribed to their portal and no indication of todays test. Also making an appointment does not give u priority over walk-ins.I decided to check on my wait time for the test and found I was not even checked in after I had filled in a second form at the desk (had completed an initial form on line as well). They show 8am opening time tomorrow Ill see if that holds true.
This is the second time I have used this particular location and both times I have been very pleased with the care and service provided to me. The front desk staff is polite, the nurse was attentive, and I very much liked the doctor who seemed to remember me even though I was there for my first visit months ago! The doctor is friendly, and projects a care about you attitude. Ive sent my son, my husband and a colleague from work there and all were very pleased with the visits. The hours are so convenient. I am glad that they try to help working families by having hours that extend into the evening and even on Saturday!!... Thank you for the service.
I went in for somewhat of an emergency that did not actually require an ER visit, but could not wait until my regular doctors office opened the following day. The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wait time was appropriate. They got me checked in pretty quickly. There were 3-4 patients ahead of me, but I have probably waited longer at my other doctors office with an appointment. Dr. Mann (the male doctor, I have not met/been seen by his wife, the other Dr. Mann) was very friendly and professional. He tended to my injury with care and I feel that I received personalized care. He did not rush through my visit, he was very thorough. The assistant/nurse was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. It is nice to know that there is a decent place to go in the event I cannot be seen at my regular doctors office or they are closed without having to go to the ER. My insurance company probably appreciates the lower cost as well. I definitely recommend this facility and will use them in the future if necessary.
I have seen this PA twice at this urgent care and she is absolutely awesome. She is knowledgeable and has an impeccable bed side manner. Thank you for caring so much.
The place was fine and the staff was friendly, but after Id paid in full and left I got an email and call that I needed to pay $10 more. I called and that was apparently a billing mistake, but (1) I wonder how often that mistake happens and (2) even if it wasnt a purposeful mistake, how hard is it to handle money? Hopefully I stop getting calls, but well see
I was seen in this office previously. Everything went great. My only concerned is they call a lot of people at the same time to get swab, when I was checking in and trying to get inside the office I got confused as to which line should I follow since there were lots of people outside waiting to be swab & not very comfortable of having the swab not going to the back office right away after they swabbed the patient.Otherwise all the front desk and nurses were great.Process were very smooth on their end. A little disappointed with the doctor calling me after couple hours when I got swabbed at 11am and have to kept calling for her to call me. Waited for at least 7 hours for the result. However on the other hand the midlevels they have are great though have been tested here couple times and they call me within few hours, never have to wait for 7 hours to get a call.Known severals friends and family members complain about it not getting call by the doctor too after several hours and have to keep calling.
Wonderful as always, front desk staff is getting better. If you need care and don’t want to be treated like an appointment number sticker, then check her out. She cares a lot and always willing to give you smile, I worry Dr. Ravaal is too good for us.
Scheduled an appointment for a rapid COVID test. They were running a little behind but I only had to wait 30 minutes. They were quick, organized, and polite. And the nurse contacted me with my results within two hours. Good stuff!
Went for a COVID test. The front desk staff was unhelpful, but civil enough. The doctors were nice. I received my rapid test results in 3 hours, and was told I’d receive the more conclusive lab results within 2-3 days. Weeks and many calls later, still no lab results. They just never sent them to me and couldn’t be bothered to answer the phone or return my voicemails or messages with an update. Do not recommend.
Dr. Dipa Raval is an amazing doctor. She’s so kindhearted and really takes the time to explain what’s going on. The front staff is always very kind too. I always feel welcomed here!
I went to the Alex office on Wednesday with cold/flu symptoms. They said I tested negative for covid/flu/strep. I was released with no discharge papers, receipts or anything but was given an antibiotic for a virus. All I knew is I felt awful. They refused to give me a doctors note. Staff argued me down that due to my tests coming back negative there was no reason that I couldnt go to work. I had to call and complain to another office manager at another location to get one. I went to Urgent Care last night after being in pain and it turns out that I have the flu and an ear infection. I would not recommend.
I cant express how much I thank the TruHealth and team. Over the years Ive been counting on their expertise and medical team to take care of all of my medical needs. Recently with my disability claim with my employer. Ive experienced great care, and most of all a very professional setting and well trained staff. Thank you for your service throughout COVID and making sure we keep our lives moving forward. I recently experienced navigating through my disability paperwork and Dr. Raval and her team made it possible, and an easy process.Cheers, Gerardo!
Great urgent care. Was seen promptly and the staff and doctor were very helpful with making sure I got the tests I needed.
The best care my family and I received. Dr. Raval and staff were always professional, thorough, and courteous. No major wait time, even on days were I was a walk-in. When I first visited, I had Tricare and then moved to private insurance which I was surprised that the services were very affordable for my family. The front office did a great job in explaining the billing. You will not find great quality care and exceptional customer service at any other doctors office.
My girlfriend had an appointment at 2pm, wasn’t called back until about 20-minutes later, and then sat in one of the rooms waiting to be seen while people who came in after her were seen and left before her. What’s the point of making an appointment if you aren’t seen?
Skip this place. It’s a scam. It is in no way a “modern medical facility”. Went for rapid test. Waited 45 minutes after appointment time. When I went in to ask how much longer she had my paper to the side so I wasn’t even in line. The woman doing the tests didn’t have a gown or face shield like you think someone would who is doing “covid” tests. She was def not a doctor as described on the website. They said we would have our results in 2-3 hour. Haven’t heard a peep in 5 hours. They don’t answer the phone either. Go elsewhere unless you want your identity probably stolen. This place was sketchy.
Dr Raval, her desk staff and her nurses really care. They treat you as a person, not a number. Diana is excellent with drawing blood from me, which is not an easy thing to do...lol. They will always be my go to place when sick or healthcare needs.
Come here for the rapid COVID test. The physician/doctor who later called for the results was really nice! The person who did the test outside was nice too. However, I won’t come back simply because the receptionists are unprofessional and rude. No personality, no interested in helping, not answering the phone because they are “too busy”. They won’t give you any instructions or tell you what the next steps are or what you can expect, you have to ask them and figure it out yourself, or else you’re left out waiting for hours.
FRAUD BILLING. My family of four went to this location for Covid testing. My husband needed a PCR test for work but the rest of us got rapid test. We had a wonderful experience at the testing facility and I would be giving five stars if it weren’t for the complete fraud/scam they are running in the billing department. With insurance, I received bills for over $500. It was $120 each person to be exact. After much back-and-forth with my insurance and medical access it turns out that two days after our testing I answered a phone call for them to tell us we were positive. Something I already knew because I had access to my online account that I set up through medical access. So I already knew we were positive. But medical access then scammed me into answering a phone call in which I spoke with a doctor that gave me all four results. This phone call was about 5 min long. And then they had the audacity to charge my insurance for a “Tele Heath Office Visit”. $205 per person!!! My insurance paid for a portion bringing it down to $120 per person. To me, this is insurance fraud. This is a complete scam to get more money out of people due to Covid. Since Covid testing is 100% covered through almost every insurance company, in my opinion, this is their way to scam people for more money. At no time did I make or ask for this tele heath appointment! I did not ask for it, and I would not have answered my phone if I knew that I would be charged and tricked into a virtual appointment. My results were posted on their website -I did not need to speak to a doctor. There is nothing to justify this type of billing practice. My insurance company agreed that it felt like fraud. Please avoid testing here. The amount of time I have spent on the phone to get this bill resolved is outrageous. The nurses that administered the test were great, it’s a shame that I can no longer be recommend this place to friends or family. This billing scheme ruined my entire experience. Save yourself the frustration.
Extremely impressed! Husband & I needed Covid tests! Setup appointments, arrived, checked in, waited for phone call in our car. When called went to the exit door, took vitals, swabbed, and left. Everything felt safe, no standing in long lines, with infected people! Within 15 min. We got a follow up face time phone call from the Dr.
Absolutely terrible. The front desk staff are completely unhelpful, did not provide sufficient information about the process upon arrival. Because they tell everyone to wait in their cars, you cant tell how long the line is and I ended up waiting in my car for hours. They do not answer the phones, I called twice the day before to try and get info and then again after they took my credit card and ID (so you cant leave when the wait backs up for hours) because I wanted an estimated wait time.I told both the test administrator and the woman who called with my results that I was highly dissatisfied with the information provided at various steps in the process. Neither was gracious or apologetic, both were curt, annoyed, and borderline rude. Also, they would not email test results even though they ask for your email and say in the sign-in paperwork that you have to email info@ if you want them to stop sending you emails. So I anticipate needing to block whatever they ARE planning to send me (not my results) as spam. You either have to drive back for a printed copy or create an online patient portal - neither of which they told me when I was there getting tested. Not professional, not friendly, strongly do not recommend.
LOOOOOOOOOOOONG COVID testing wait time on Saturday. I scheduled online at 8:50am for a 9:20am appointment. It is now 11:33am and after complaining 3-4 times throughout the over 2 hour wait, they finally called me on my phone to tell me to wait at the door to be called. Then at the door, they called people who just recently arrived with later appointments times. Clearly, not calling people in order or by appointment times. And just so you don’t think they lost my paperwork, I talked to other people who were waiting just as long. RIDICULOUS! Not adequately staffed and poorly managed. They should stop accepting appoints online if they cannot manage this process.
If you have an appointment or not, it doesnt matter here, you always going to wait a lot in this place. The first time I came here I didnt have an appointment and I understood that I had to wait. I had to come back and I made an appointment to avoid the waiting time and it was the same, it didnt make a difference. I had to wait at least 2 hours despite having an appointment. When I called to see what was taking so long, the person on the phone apologized and said she would register me and have the nurse call in 5min. It says its an Urgent care facility, I cant imagine anyone coming with an emergency. The nurse that attended me was nice and professional.
Dr. Raval is a great doctor. She’s very knowledgeable and friendly, doesn’t rush and listen to all your concerns. The administrative staff is also very efficient.
Ahmed is incredibly responsive to the needs of his patients. Not quite sure Ive ever seen anyone as good at making patients feel comfortable.
Mrs Dr Mann is one of the most caring and understanding doctors I have ever been to, she and the staff have always treated me well and they are the best urgent care I have used in many years. I have been using them for a chronic condition and they always help me out and very timely service. They also make recommendations on other health issues when they notice them unlike other places who just see you for the issue you are there for. Do not hesitate to go here if you need urgent care as you will get great service as I have for many years
Since they just replied, let me point out that in their response they say theyll set up a payment plan for old balances. I want to be crystal clear, I had never been to My Urgent Care. No balance could have or should have existed. I dont need a payment plan for something that does not exist. The whole point was the accounting practices were shady, they endangered my health by not seeing me and then demanded to see my private medical files because they didnt believe the doctor at another company and thought I was lying. It isnt about an old balance. The original view is about neglectful staff and rude management. If they were concerned about relationships after the merger, theyd have reached out to me and let me know how things are different instead of assuming I was lying about a bill.I have never been treated as rudely as I have at this place. I didnt even get to see a doctor. They kept calling patients that arrived after me back as I waited. When Diana, the extremely rude receptionist, called me up it was to claim I owed $10 from 10 years ago even though Ive never been there. They turned down at least $50 in revenue on a $10 debt that probably doesnt exist. Ida, the nurse, was of no help. The boss is on vacation for 2 weeks. I plan on calling her when she returns to let her know just how poorly Diana and Isa treated me. It isnt good business for a rude employee to turn down $50 over an unconfirmed $10 debt. Neither myself or my family, at $50 per co-pay, will be giving them any revenue. I hope that $10 was worth it.Another doctor at a place run by much nicer employees diagnosed me with a mild case of pneumonia. So, they willingly put me at a greater risk when I should have been treated immediately.
Still a great practice with wonderful caring people. Had an 830 appt and was in a room by 820. Dr.Raval is very attentive to my needs. Always on top of my scripts. So glad she is my Dr.
I use them as my primary care docs. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional, checkups are a breeze, Doc takes time to chat with me every visit about my health and any new changes. Heck, even to tell me it’s time to have conversations about uncomfortable things that Come with getting older. Sometimes there is a wicked wait (longest I’ve ever had in my 5 years was an 1 hour 15 min on a walk in during sports physical season/flu season), but it’s an urgent care, nothing I can’t manage. From the reviews you get a good sense of how entitled some folks are lol. Like the one lady who left a 1 Star review because “she couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone to schedule an appointment...” seriously lady, you have nothing else to do but slander an establishment you were too lazy to actually visit, because they were actually more focused and worried about the patients and customers who take the time to visit the facility? I highly recommend and have no doubt you will have a positive experience. If you are just a negative person or like 1 Star lady, are extremely entitled, stick to Kaiser and leave us normal folks alone.
I use Urgent Care when I cant get in a same day appointment with my regular doctor. The service is quick and efficient. The staff is kind and helpful. The doctor saw me right away and spent enough time with me to get a complete picture. I had to call back to check on a drug interaction and the doctor was on the phone in under a minute!
Poor service and bad management.Made appointment for a rapid test at 2:00 pm. I arrived 10 minutes early. The receptionist took all my information and asked me to wait in my car and said someone will call me .... I waited until 2:05pm - no call. So I walked back to the office to remind them I have a 2:00pm appointment.A rapid test results generally takes 30 mins to 45 mins. I received my result in over three hours.
Telegraph Rd, Alexandria location: The receptionist was very rude to me on June 3, 2022. I’m not a new patient, and I think this is how the receptionist treats other patients. I would not come back to the clinic. I hate to write bad reviews, but her attitude was extremely ignorant.
Wonderful place and great Doctors. They always help my family and always know the right medicine to dispense. I really depend on them. Who has time to schedule the Dr appointments when an illness comes up. The office is pleasant, the atmosphere is good and the wait is always short. This office has really changed my mind about Urgent Care and I hope to continue to use them for many years to come. Thank you to all the Doctors and staff there.
Medical Access is a busy place, but while working at this place, I could see the hard work and team player amongst the employees and providers along with Amit our office manager, always making sure to keep patients satisfied.
Booked an appointment for a rapid Covid test. Had to wait half an hour after checking in, upon going back inside to ask how much longer I would have to wait they told me I “had to wait longer due to a long line of patients” and then suddenly realized I was the first patient that had to be seen in that long line...Was supposed to have results within 2-3 hours and it has been 9 hours with no call or email update so overall was an absolutely pointless visit.
I came for a Department of Defense Medical Exam (DoDMERB) so that I could get a physical exam to submit to my service academy applications. My APPOINTMENT was scheduled for 8:15, and it is now 9:00 and I am still awaiting a “phone call” so that the people can let me in the facility. What is the purpose of an appointment if the people scheduling it don’t adhere to the time constraints. I’m running on an extremely tight schedule, and for anyone that also values their time, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS URGENT CARE FACILITY
I came in for excruciating back pain. The front desk staff was professional and courteous the entire visit. The doctor listened to me intently, had great bedside manner, and came up with a personalized plan of care. Hopefully this top notch service will continue in further needed visits.
After being violently ill for three days having no strength what so ever I finally got up enough energy to go the this urgent care. I knew it wouldnt be special but i was praying for something decent because it was .7 miles from my house and I honestly didnt have the strength to drive anywhere else. My throat sore stomach nauseous feeling feverish with chills I walked up to the ladies at the reception area. not impressed with the waiting area I remembered looks can be deceiving. I was handed some paperwork so I sat down to fill it out. The ladies at the reception were nothing special I was annoyed with them because I wasnt feeling well and their whole office didnt feel professional at all but I kept up hope that the doctor would be awesome Because I read SOME good reviews....Finally get called back into the office its super hot in there and I start to cry because Im feeling terrible. After listening to the doctor through the walls with another patient for about 30 minutes he finally comes in. after pressing on my stomach and asking me a few questions he proceeded to tell me that I have acid reflux and I need to make dietary changes.............then when I ask him about my sore throat and the rest of my flu like symptoms he tells me I may also have an infection.......so I need to gargle salt water....I spent 30$ I dont have on this appointment for them to give me a terrible diagnosis. Im still sick nothing he told me to do has helped and Ill probably be going to the hospital since I couldnt get any help from them. But it doesnt matter my insurance will pay him extremely well and hell go home happy. Please dont go here if you are worried you are sick. If you need a psychical sure why not but if you are relying on this urgent care to provide urgent care seek elsewhere. They were not helpful and I do my recommend.
Please call me with the results of my test.I think the clinic operates okay (prices seem fair, wait was reasonable) but the communication is poor. I would recommend organizing the line better, posting instructions outside, leaving the packets outside to grab, and that would drastically reduce the requirement to stand in line. I would also recommend a number system so you can see where you are in the que for your test. Additionally, specify when you say you will “call” whether that is call for you or call on your mobile phone. There are a lot of people waiting outside and asking around, it seems like no one really understands the process and is left anxiously in the dark. Finally, please call me or answer your phone. I’ve been calling every five minutes for the last hour (during business hours) and no one has answered and your voicemail is full.A few easy communication steps and this clinic could be great.
I took my brother here for a school physical. The first 7 urgent care centers I called required scheduling appointments which was at least four days out for the earliest one. This place did not require an appointment and so I got to enroll my brother a week sooner. The place was clean and the staff and providers were friendly and prompt; they made us feel welcomed.
Dr Raval is always most personable and knowledgeable, dealing with all issues very professionally, with a smile (under her mask). All the attending personnel are also very kind and helpful. The precautions they take to protect their customers during this time of pandemic made me feel very safe.
I got treated almost immediately the two times that I had been there, which was helpful. The ladies at the front were friendly and helpful. my only complaint is that both times Ive been, I was prescribed something way more than necessary. Im a small person; I dont need hydrocodone cough syrup. I just wish the doctor would have taken that into consideration.
This establishment is amazing. They are professional, proficient, compassionate and thoughtful. I was treated with respect and Amit was very helpful when I had an issue and needed assistance. Highly recommend this office.
I will never recommend anyone to go here. They give you an option to make an appointment, but don’t bother, they don’t take that into consideration. We had an appt at 11:15, got there 5 mins early, were told a rapid COVID test is required before seeing the doctor, which take about 20 to 30 mins. That’s fine, it’s understandable. We did not go in with COVID symptoms. We fill out the paperwork, thinking they’ll take the test immediately, but they state leave your ID and paperwork and go wait in your car. Now we are waiting in our cars, it’s been 20 mins. We go check inside and Jenny says it’ll be another 20 mins. Very rude and short with us. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. Didn’t think it was worth waiting another 20 mins and then another 30 mins for COVID test results before seeing the dr.
Went in to see Dr. Abhay on short notice and was seen immediately. The staff was very courteous and got me in to see the Dr. promptly. He listened to me and called me a few days later to see how I was doing. When it was time for a follow up I visited him again at his secondary location and I experienced the same level of service from the staff at the other location. My Urgent Care is quickly becoming my go to place for medical care.
Worse urgent care I have ever been to. They blame other employees for miscommunication and lose appointments. Waited 2 hours and they never approached me to ask me if I had checked in or tell me they are running late. TERRIBLE!
My husband and I came in yesterday for a COVID PCR test. We waited an hour and a half for us to be called in, only to find that they had lost my husband’s ID and insurance card. Twenty minutes later, they found it attached to a different patient’s paperwork. The icing on the cake: I got my results back with a rapid test, which is not what I need. Left messages for the lab and reception trying to reach someone at this location; no one answers or returns my calls.
I would give a No star if I could. This place is unprofessional. The staff is rude. Made an appt for 9:15am for Covid testing and the staff said I had to wait... what’s the point of an appt if patients have to wait. The staff is RUDE!!!!! No medical office should engage with patients in the manner they did. Clearly it is unorganized and they just hire whoever to work the front desk without considering the person’s credibility of being a professional and no type of customer service. Save yourself the time & go somewhere else. Oh and they lost my friend’s insurance card like whatttt!!!! Get it together. FYI if you do make it thru the testing medical staff in the back was amazing, polite and efficient and engaging so thanks guys.
They say walk ins welcome and 15 minutes result which resulted in 3 hrs total between registering and finally getting to test for Covid. The fifteen minutes thing was a lie your told to go home and you will get called by the Doctor. The test was done at 1 pm and it hit 4 pm and there was no answer. The phones never get picked up. So I finally got My Doctor to get in touch with them then they called me. Basically a whole day wasted!.
Found out I was exposed to COVID and was looking for same-day results testing and a google search led me here. I arrived around 2:30 on a Friday and waited 2 hours for my test. I rec’d a phone call around 8 pm giving me the results. I’ve seen other people leave negative reviews about the long wait times, but it is to be expected with a walk-in testing clinic. I got what I came for, so I consider that a win. The process for walk-in testing is as follows - arrive and wait in line to check in at the front desk, take paperwork to your car to fill out, return paper work along with your ID and credit card, go back to wait in your car until they call your cell number to let you know it’s your turn and to come back to the door, they return your ID and CC and swab your nose and send you on your way letting you know you’ll receive a call from the doctor with your results.
If I could give “-10” stars, believe me I would. Don’t EVER bother getting PCR from them.To begin, it’s pretty hard to get through them. The reception is not helpful at all. They are really quick to charge you $225 but we will get there. They ask you to arrive 15 min prior your appointment only to take you at least 15 min later than your original appointment time. The Dr. legit stabbed my brain and when I told him I have a flight in 3 days he said I should be good but he’s not sure IF THE LAB IS WORKING ON THE WEEKEND. Not sure?!They called me 2 hrs later and told me that I will get a call with the results on Saturday (my flight is on Sunday). No call. I was reassured that I will access my test results on Sunday, in time my trip. The day of my trip I’ve been calling them from 8am, every 10 min for HOURS. No one ever picked up. I left over 10 VMs, no call back. The doctor did not respond to any of my messages. No test results. I’m missing my flight. I wasted $225 on top of the tickets for train and my flight. So again, and I can’t stress it enough, DO NOT GO THERE FOR THE PCR. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
Very friendly and helpful stuff! The place is in it very nice and in clean condition!
I was glad to find somewhere that does rapid testing and was able to get an appt the same day at 7am when they release extra slots. However, I waited 1.5 hours even WITH an appointment. And when they called me, they swabbed me outside in front of everyone in the line, nowhere to sit and very rough with the swabs and very little communication. Im not sure how the billing will turn out, but I suspect they are trying to bill the 10 second facetime call as a doctor visit. Also I have no way to get a copy of my results since they never emailed me login information or even a website to find results.
Efficient and professional. I got a rapid test here 2x for various reasons.A couple of things (based on the reviews below):1. The rapid test takes 15 minutes TO RUN. There are a ton of people who want the rapid test and there are only so many that you can run at one time. Add on doing all the patient paperwork and entering in that data, of course wait times at peak hours (aka anytime after they first open) are going to be long! The place may look empty, but there are a ton of people waiting in their cars.2. We are in the middle of a pandemic and this is a walk in testing site. Of course there will be times where you may have to leave a message vs immediately speaking to someone.3. Yeah, they sometimes run out of tests and tests may be on back order. They may not know when the next shipment will actually make it there.
Dr. Ruval Shes an excellent doctor. She takes her time with you. Never feel rushed she cares about her patients. Her staff is trying as hard as they can during this unprecedented time I think everybody should be a little bit more understanding of what they have to go through every day and just be patient. I can honestly say , I will stay with Dr. Ruval until she retired.
Terrible clinic. 10 out of 10 would not recommend wasting your time here. Went for a so-called rapid test and ended up waiting over a day to get results. I was told the doctor would call me within three hours and send me an email to access my portal where my results would be uploaded. Never received a phone call or email I physically had to drive back to the clinic and physically go in to get results. Called multiple times left multiple voicemails they never answer their phones and never answer their voicemails.
The only reason I come here is to get a rapid COVID test and quick results. The customer service of the reception staff is poor at best. The young man who checked me in is not interested in the job or the patients. I would never come here if I had a health concern that necessitated being seen and treated by a medical professional.
I called twice before I got in an Uber to get there. Was told there were no fees for covid testing. I get there and am told that theyll need to hold my debit card. After reading other Yelp reviews I asked about additional fees (which I had already asked about twice on the phone) and was then told there would be a $50 copay because they treat it like an urgent care visit. A scam. And outright lying to get people to come in. The office also doesnt look very sterile. Waste of time and Uber money.
I went to this office thinking that the service would be top notch, because of the location. Boy was I wrong!! As I went into the office I stood at the front desk while a young man stared at the work computer and his cellphone for about 5min, before I had to greet him as if I worked there. He asked me what do you need? He then asked me to sit out side until they call me, I waited 20minBefore getting called back in.This time as I entered it seemed as the staff was having a party for about 10 minutes as I still had to wait again. I was helped by a nice lady covering at this location from another facility and Dr. Dipa which were the only reason why I gave this location a rating of 2 stars. To top of the bad service from the office,; I was given a referral to go to a specialist and was given the wrong list and I only found out after having to wait one month and the other location telling me I was give the the wrong specialist. Dr. Dipa tried to fix the mistake, but my schedule is now to busy.If you are looking for a good Dr. go to one of the other locations Dr. Dipa works. She is very kind, friendly, personable and precise!!
Slowest Urgent Care around. I will not be back. There’s no point of having an appointment system if you’re not going to honor it. No one should have to be there for two plus hours.
I had an amazing experience with Ms Schultz, NP. She is very knowledgeable, caring and professional. I am fortunate to have her as my PCP .
Their website says you need to make an appointment to get a COVID test, but does not allow me to book online (wants me to choose from a dropdown menu with no options). Calling yields the same result, no one answers the phone, despite taking me through multiple touch-tone menus.I give this place 2 stars because I was able to get a walk-in visit in September (which involved waiting outside in the cold for close to an hour, plus another 30 minutes in my car). I received results quickly from that test, although the process when youre there is confusing.
Was able to walk in and get seen within a few minutes. They listened to all my symptoms and quickly tested and determined what was wrong. Highly recommend!
Poor services… I renewed my medical certificate required by dot, they are not professionals at all, also they didn’t issue me a micro certificate of my medical. They are charging really high compare to other places.I am not recommend here to anyone specifically for those renewing there dot medical certificates.
Dr. Mann is a very compassionate physician who took extra time with me during my visit. The wait to see him did not take long. The staff was very nice. Dr. Mann spent time talking to me to learn all my symptoms, check my vitals, and promptly provided a diagnosis with ordered prescriptions. I was in and out within an hour.I would highly recommend this urgent care clinic, if you live in the area and have trouble getting a same day sick appointment with your regular family doctor. They have extended hours and take walk in same day patients. I will definitely go again if I am sick and cant get an appointment at a convenient time with our family doctor!
I went here for a pretty common infection, and had a great experience. The wait time was low, cost was low with my insurance, and the doctor was friendly and knowledgeable and was able to prescribe me the medicine I needed. I forget his name but he was Indian. The nurse who saw me before the doctor was rude and short with me though. She told me I had waited too long to come in, and reprimanded me for trying to treat my own symptoms naturally. I have had this infection many times, and often it goes away on its own, just not this time. The nurse was the same person who was waiting the front desk, and she acted as if I was bothering her by coming into the office. However, I would go back for the quality of the doctor.
Easy experience getting COVID tested. If you read the website beforehand its a seamless process. Come with your forms printed and be ready to hand over your ID, insurance card, and credit/debit card. Waited about 2 hrs but expected that because I arrived around 330. I think its worth it to wait there to get the rapid test, got a call 30 min later with my result.
Getting tested was ok process. Waited about an hour after my appointment and it was done. However, I have been waiting over a week for my results when I was promised it would take 2-3 days. Still have no results. Do not go to this place, or if you do, expect results in over a week or maybe never.
Very difficult to deal with after getting a COVID test. They stopped answering my phone after my first call to their billing office and will not answer my insurance who needs them to respond in order to get my claim processed. Go elsewhere unless you want a headache in forms and phone calls after!
I hadnt anticipated waiting outside in the cold for 30 minutes to get a covid test done, but the results were in within 48 hours so I had what I needed for my flight. And Dr. Tesfamariam was very nice and easy to work with!
Definitely don’t go here for COVID testing. They did not make a peep about how long it would take. 2-4 hours of waiting, don’t you think it’d be wise to let patients know this when filling out forms? On top of that, you can pray for any semblance of professionalism but those prayers would go unanswered.
I have been going to Medical Access for years and they are my primary Doctors. I cant tell you how wonderful the staff is and Dr. Rava is the best. Not only do the doctors listen to you which is a hard thing to find but the front desk staff and nurses are the best.
A medical access has not established the customer service and office staff needed to run a safe let alone efficient business . many empty promises have i heard and i’ve been using them more then 15 years and i would know . phone lines dead for days on end. doctors are good but the offices (and i’m talking all three of them ) are ineffectively run , and resourced . it’s unfortunate i like their doctors but they are not investing . they have the business , but their are not investing . why is that ? profit? i wish they would at least adhere to promises . i wish i could get lad results from them directly as should be the case rather then long wait periods to get them from the labs after notification periods have expired . it’s a shame .
All the staffs were very attentive. The service was very smooth without any hassle. Amit was there to help through all the process. Definitely recommend for place for urgent needs.
Very kind and helpful staff! The doctor, Dr. Raval, was one of the sweetest ones Ive gone to. She explained everything, answered my questions, and was considerate of the fact that I was doing self-pay, since I am in between insurances.
I went for a preop check off. The nursing staff was courteous. The PA was just plain awful. I did not get a sign off because my sodium levels were TWO points away from normal. Not only that but the staff screwed up the blood work and didnt run the PT/INR test and now are refusing to redo the test. I will NOT ever go back to this location. Heads up. They are not very professional, I dont think they know what they are doing. They wont return calls, after multiple calls to their headquarters. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
Dr Duval is the best PCP and knows how to approach her patients in a welcoming heart. She listens and gives appropriate advise with no rush. I will refer more people/patients to her. Thanks Doc.
Generally my experience at My Urgent Care has been very good. I find that ones experience depends on the Doctor that you see. I give 5 stars because the staff really tries hard to give good service.
Dr. R Rival and medical staff, have been my PCP for a couple of years. I’ve always had excellent care. She takes her time to explain and listen to my concerns.
This place has terrible service I waited 3 hours for a pre employment drug screen there only 2 people working, the front desk lied about how long the wait was she also lied to me and said my expiration time for the screening would be recorded upon my entry time. When I was finally called they said you can’t take your test because it expired I said why did you tell me my time was recorded when it wasn’t ??? would never visit here again everyone this morning waited hours to be seen, terrible place never returning
Great COVID-19 rapid testing site with fast results. Beware, however, if you have other health issues that need treatment this place is the worst. You cant call and talk to anybody and emails go unanswered for days. The NP who called with my results perscribed medication to treat a sinus infection but never called the perscriptions into the pharmacy and four days later I still have no medication, no returned phone call, and no email response. Go somewhere else if you need urgent care.
If you choose to come here, make sure you book an appointment and block off a few hours afterwards. Weve done COVID tests at other sites and actual swabbing was done within 10-15 minutes of scheduled appointment. We arrived early as suggested. 30 minutes after checking, staff said were next. An hour after arrival, the staff kept saying youre next. Not sure what it is, maybe a busy day. So take the day off if you need to get it done here. Or just go somewhere else.Canceled and left after 1 hour 10 minutes because had somewhere else to be.
Very quick and efficient. It’s my go to in my community.
Check in was fast and easy. The NP and doctor were friendly and professional. They gave me lots of great information. It was a very pleasant experience
They never got back to me for my test results. I had to call more than 10 times, but still no respond from the clinic. The clinic doesn’t have direct phone number that you can call. The number is for different location. Every time I called they claims that they left internal message to call you me, but never got any call.
This place was/is great! I came here for a physical and found the staff to be friendly and the wait time to be short: I was seen within 15 minutes of my first visit.Dr. Mann was courteous and knowledgable, and I didnt feel like I was rushed at all. I would definitely recommend for future walk-in clinic visits.
Great service. Best to not book an appointment, they really just see you on first come first serve basis anyway but it was fast.
Doctors here are definitely need to be sent back to med school. Doctor told me they would send me prescription to my pharmacy and I end up finding out they never actually did. Had to wait several days just to get my medicine. My first and last time ever coming to this sorry excuse for a clinic.
This place is a total scam and I’m reporting this to the attorney general. Seek care elsewhere.
Would give zero stars if I could. This place is AWFUL! The doctors dont bother to return messages even after 3, 4, 5 times of calling and trying to get in contact with someone. If you have a serious health issue other than COVID-19, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This place doesnt care, they will not take care of you, and they are not timely at all. Someone close to me has attempted to get in contact with them about five times now, no calls back, no evidence the doctor or anyone else there is going to get back to us, even though this person feels it could be something serious. Also, the people at the front desk are awful with customer service and are often rude.
I was feeling very sick . Walked in they said I have to do Covid test. Waited one and half hour in my car ,at the end I have to walk in , they said they can’t reach me although I’m in the parking lot with my vehicle information written in the form , got swabbed and have to go back to my car . To wait again so I can be seen by the dr . Wasted all my day in awaiting due to lack of arrangements.
Takarra made the whole experience of going to the doctor so much easier. I hate going to the doctor. She was so friendly and easy going. Takarra explained everything.
Dr. Raval, the nurses, and staff were so unbelievably warm and kind. She really was thorough with me and made sure she exhausted every option to determine what the cause of my symptoms were. I would 100% suggest her to any friend or family member!
Avoid this place if at all possible: MALPRACTICE and FALSIFIED BILLING. I went in for a pre-surgery screen. The screen did not require bloodwork, but the PA said she would be more comfortable with me having it done. Ok, so I agreed. The person assigned to draw blood put 2 holes in my arm trying to find the vein, and then one in my hand. She gave up after that and told me she would let someone else try. Fail 1. The 2nd person came in and put an additional 2 holes in my hand looking for the vein there and told me i had slippery veins. No blood was drawn. Fail 2. I received a bill today for this service which included a $97.23 charge for bloodwork that was not done. Fail 3. Unbelievable incompetence.
Went for COVID testing. Made my appointment online. Submitted my information prior to arrival. Check in took less than a minute. Waited in my vehicle for the call. Walked in, had my brain punctured by a Q-tip, got my results via their online portal in a couple hours. Negative by the way. Thank you Jesus.
Just left here. Don’t come here. Waited a hour, still not seen. A man had an appointment and it took over 45 min for him to be seen. I asked for my info so I could leave and the nurse chuckled and said “they are busy” but only 2 people were in the back. Get it together people. People don’t want to be in your hot office all day.
My first visit to an Urgent care so I really wasnt sure what to expect however the staff were very professional and caring. Dr. Raval is extremely friendly and has an outstanding bedside manner something I dont think we see enough of anymore.
The doctor was extremely friendly and sympathetic to how bad I felt. He listened to me, and helped me get better fast. I am a tour guide and have to have my voice, he gave me medication right away knowing how desperate I was to get better. I would go here again for sure.
CHECK YOUR STATEMENT -- Received a bill for a Jan 2021 covid test (which should have been covered by insurance under the CARES Act) and also noticed that Medical Access conveniently decided to tack on a $25 noninvasive ear/pulse oximetry which DEFINITELY did not occur. While it is one thing to bill an exorbitant amount for a covid test, it is disingenuous to milk the situation by throwing on extra costs that clearly did not occur. Luckily, we found other covid testing centers that were a lot more honest to work with after that incident. Now, Ill have to waste unnecessary my time and their already overworked and underpaid staff to combat them over the bill - which could have been avoided in the first place if they didnt have such dishonest practices.
With an appointment made an hour in advance online, treatment was prompt, courteous and professional. Could not have asked for better.
I made an appointment and they missed the time. I called to make sure the doctor would call and the receptionist said they would. No call...missed appointment and no one would answer the phone. Extremely disappointed! I need my prescription refilled asap and now I have to find somewhere else to go
They do not have the COVID rapid testing, even though their website says they do. I asked if they would have it in the future, and the employee stated that they will not. So its not like they ran out of tests....someone or something is keeping them from acquiring and administering the tests. Im giving them one star because they dont have that info on their webpage. Its about 5 business days for the standard test results.
I was here a week ago i saw nicole and doctor raval. i had a great experience very quick and efficient and they were extremely nice and helpful towards me.
I had a wonderful experience at this location, I went there for my friend and it was very quick and I personally recommend everyone going there for fast and convenient healthcare experience specially the manager Amit really helped us.
Medical Access was accessible and convenient. Staff was friendly especially Medical Assistant Willem, he was patient and very informative with my questions. Thank you!
The lady in front with the locs is rude, & unprofessional. Many patients were complaining about her when I was there. You guys should do a training in how to speak to patients.. I hope it gets better.
My experience there was excellent. I only waited a few minutes to be seen. The desk staff, nurse, and Dr. Mann were professional and caring. Im happy to have found Medical Access!
A very friendly environment, the workers are very polite. Great job by a great team
5/5 for walk in covid testing.2/5 for other services. They do not answer phone calls, mail box is usually full and if you do leave a message they do not return callsOverall 3/5. The people who work there are nice.
