Impossible to get open communication with them. We purchased a batch of Donor eggs in October 2023. As of mid January 2024 we still dont have them at our clinic, nor can we get ahold of anyone to help us understand what is going on. Its an awful experience when you are already going through so much.
I applied to your Donor Egg Program with high hopes of being able to help couples in need of a child. However, I am deeply disappointed with the way my application was handled. After completing the Detailed Donor Application and waiting for a considerable amount of time, I received a response stating that I did not meet the requirements for the program, without any explanation as to why. Although, I carefully reviewed the eligibility criteria listed on your website before completing the Detailed Donor Application, and I believed that I met all the necessary qualifications.I find it extremely concerning that your organization failed to provide me with a clear and transparent explanation as to why I was not selected. This lack of transparency has left me with serious doubts about the trustworthiness and professionalism of Egg Donor America. As someone who was willing to donate their eggs to help others, I believe that I deserve an explanation for this decision.
I have been here 3 times. The staff is great. Lan, Audrey, and Erin are helpful and answer any questions I have. Dr. Asmar is great as well! I will continue to come here in the future. Receptionist greet you as soon as you walk in and appointments are on time! :)
Ive been approved to be a egg donor with quite a few places, while also being denied for some. The places that have denied me have been very kind, even enough to provide me with a reason as to why it did not work out. Keep in mind a egg donor application is very invasive, and may take hours to do. So the bare minimum women should be given is a reason why they were denied. When asking why I was denied, they refused to tell me why, then told me your heart is in the right place though :). If you are a egg donor, I recommend applying to other places.
I applied & was accepted as a donor. Everything was going great & then I got an email about a trip to DC & that I would need to fill out & send some forms in order to get something planned. The one form (a tax form) needs your SSN which I didn’t feel comfortable giving because there is basically nothing to indicate this is a reputable facility. The Facebook page never has likes/comments & the reviews are about scams. I searched and searched online and just kept coming up with basically nothing for this place. No YouTube videos of real people coming to this location. So when I emailed back saying “before I send this info, I would just like to make sure this isn’t a scam” & all they said back was “we have been open a long time and we aren’t a scam, so just send me the the paperwork and we can schedule a call”. That was confirming my suspicions as it didn’t offer any real reassurance to help prove it was legit. so I didn’t respond & haven’t heard back,, yet “I had intended parents very serious about having me be their donor.” I wouldn’t suggest going through here unless you are 100% sure it’s real. If I decide to donate I will be going through a facility with more information!
Excellent experience, very knowledgeable and professional staff.
