We starting seeing Dr. Reed in summer of 2023 for our first pregnancy. She was absolutely amazing and helpful throughout everything, and really made us feel extremely comfortable with everything. The nurses were amazing as well - Dr Reed always wanted us to call with any questions or concerns no matter what and the staff supported that as well which made us never feel like we were asking too many questions, or asking stupid questions. Dr. Reed made us feel comfortable with all decisions we made throughout the entire process. Her bedside manner is amazing and really makes you feel like you are talking to someone you have known for years, but also making sure to give you straight answers without sugar coating things. We never felt like we were unsure of things discussed, and if we did she always made sure to explain whatever we needed however many times so that we were always feeling informed. During labor, I could not have imagined anyone else delivering my baby aside from her, and I knew I felt that way for a reason. We had a lengthy process, and she was simply amazing throughout the entire process. I felt so supported through the whole process and am so happy that we were able to go full circle and have her bring our son into the world! HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone!
I could not recommend Dr Reed enough. She is passionate about what she does. More importantly she makes sure the patient is comfortable and safe. She is very knowledgeable!
I’m so thankful for the service and friendliness that this clinic provides. All of their staff ranging from front desk to clinical staff always sweet and greets you with a smile.I’m currently seeing Dr. Augustine, she and her nurse Danielle are so caring and always provide the best care they can. I know they’re busy but whenever I call or need an appointment they are really good about returning my calls and getting me in to be seen. Dr. Augustine takes her time to explain everything and is very good about addressing your health concerns.
I had a great experience with Dr. Reed. She had so much information for me and I felt like she was on my side the whole time asking me what I wanted not telling me what she thought I should do. I’ve already recommended her to everyone I know.
Womens Care of Wisconsin-Appleton made me feel so comfortable. I was listened to, and told the several options I had to relieve my symptoms, and Dr. Williams gave me honest feedback of what I might expect after each option. She spent time with me and i never felt rushed. She made sure I understood my final choice and performed my surgery last week. It went great!
I have had some WONDERFUL experiences with some doctors at Womens Care and some not-so wonderful. Dr. Williams is awesome! She and her team and so friendly and always patient. They listen to every concern you have and give you honesty. I felt with some other doctors at Womens Care, I was treated as a gineau pig and had treatments thrown at me for things that I didnt have. Dr. Williams has sat on the phone with me for as long as I need to address all my questions and feel comfortable.
Dr. Anderson and his staff took time to listen to my concerns as well as make me feel comfortable as a new patient. I called to make an initial appointment and was in within the same week! I’m very happy with my choice to see Dr. Anderson and Womens’s Care of Wisconsin.
I am pregnant and it’s my first time having Dr. Anderson as my OB! I had Dr. Eberts prior and delivered all my babies… So I was nervous at first, but he’s been great. I can say he is awesome! And I cannot wait to keep him as my OB for future appointments :)
Dr. Vandenberg is the best OBGYN Ive ever had. She is compassionate and thoughtful and cares so deeply for her patients. She advocates for me and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care. Im so thankful for her and her entire team!
The office staff was very helpful and friendly. Dr. Anderson was kind, informative and on time. If I need more woman’s care, I would definitely return to this clinic.
I would highly recommend Dr. Reed! She has been my doctor through two pregnancies and a surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. She is a genuine, kind and caring person who is easy to talk to. Dr. Reed does an excellent job describing anything you are going through that you feel both empowered and confident in any medical decisions that need to be made.
I started seeing a OB-GYN at Women’s care in Appleton last April. My doctor was very nice, kind, and trauma-informed. The on-call fertility nurses are also very kind and understanding. They truly seem like they cared for me. If this rating was just based off my doctor and the fertility nurses they would receive a 5/5. I feel compelled to share my experiences for any person who is struggling to get pregnant. I was labeled as unexplained infertility due to not being able to have a pregnancy after two years. I become pregnant after one year, had a miscarriage, and then still have not been able to get pregnant two years later. I have had some really poor experiences at Women’s Care so I will no longer be attending the facility. As I mentioned before I had a miscarriage last May. I had two confirmed pregnancy tests at home and was about 7 weeks pregnant. I started bleeding over Memorial Day weekend and went in for an appointment after the holiday weekend (per the recommendation of the nurses). I had an ultrasound and blood work done. The doctor informed me they would call me with results later on. A Women’s Care nurse called me that day and told me you have no pregnancy hormones. I said “oh does that mean I had a miscarriage” and the nurse replied “there was no proof you were pregnant I’m the first place.” In a very sensitive time I felt I was offered no support, no condolences, or even empathy. Fast forward to this year we are still not able to get pregnant so the fertility nurse and my doctor recommended a Hysterosalpingography which is a test testing to see if there are blocks in your tubes. It is a very expensive test and not covered by insurance. The fertility nurse at Women’s Care informed me if I do self-pay they offer reduced rates. The nurse informed me a financial assistant would be calling me to tell me more information. I did not receive and calls and honestly did not think much about it. I had to go to Theda care for the procedure due to it being more complex. At Theda care I told them when checking in I would need to do the self-pay rate to get a discount. They said okay and I was in for my procedure. After the procedure I get a bill online stating I owed just Women’s Care(My doctor from Women’s care did not do the procedure Theda Care did) close to $2000 dollars on top of Theda care charging me also close to $2000 dollars for the procedure. I call Theda care they are very kind and offered me support for how to handle getting this so my family could afford it. I do the same for Women’s Care. The Women’s Care financial worker told me they tried to call me twice and I didn’t answer before the procedure and they cannot offer self-pay rate after the procedure is over. I explained I did not get any calls and was feeling frustrated because we cannot afford large bills out of pocket. I started crying and was trying to explain why I was feeling upset in a calm and appropriate manner. The staff on the phone told me “if it was me as a responsible adult I would have called if I didn’t receive any calls before hand.” I received no empathy or compassion during this difficulty time. I’m not upset at the money side of it as I understand there are policies in place but felt as if they were doing everything in their power to make me feel at fault and bad. Due to this I do not recommend attending Women’s Care of Appleton if you are hoping to received trauma-informed care.
Just wanted to update. I finally found a doctor that took my issues seriously and was able to identify a clear issue from an ultrasound that doctor Augustine told me was normal. Im now a year later and the issues gotten worse (not to mention affected my fertility) and Ill need surgery. Please dont go here if you want someone to take your health seriously.I wish I could give them 0 stars. Worst care experience I have ever received. I had concerns about my cycle and was told not to worry about them and that I just needed to relax. My cycle is more messed up now. The doctors didnt listen and thought I was overreacting, ran an expensive test that wasnt necessary. Had a visit with a doctor that didnt even examine me. Now I have more issues and need to find a new provider that will actually listen to me. Dont go here unless you want to waste your time and money. Bleeding for 20 days for no reason is normal to them.
Dr. Reed knows my worries and concerns/ questions I may have before I ask them usually. She is reassuring and helps to find answers. She shows that she knows how important my babies are , is encouraging and provides me with the information I need.
Dr Anderson and Brittany were amazing. They both took the time to thoroughly explain everything that was going to happen and I never felt rushed or like I was a number.
Dr Augustine is very friendly, personable, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I feel very comfortable with her.
I had a follow up appointment because I had a ruptured cyst. that blood and fluid into my stomach, which was so painful. Well at the follow up none of my concerns were addressed he was rushing me so bad and all he talked about was pain pills. I wasnt there for pain pills I was wanting answers. I would never ever go back and see, Dr. Anderson ever worst doctor Ive ever seen. No worries or sympathy from him.
I was so nervous seeing a new Dr after so many years but I was blown away and all my fears were gone after seeing Dr. Yarroch! She is extremely easy to talk to, so friendly and kind and I have full trust in her. I couldnt have asked for a better experience or better Dr. I high recommend her and her staff. I have complete faith and total trust in her. Absolute amazing Dr!
Dr. Reed is amazing, she works with such a close knit team as well.I always feel like my concerns are being addressed and that all the providers care about the clinics caseload as a whole!
Definitely do not feel very comfortable with Women’s Care, for multiple reasons. Years ago I was on birth control, and I wanted to try the IUD. Which was a mistake because I couldn’t stand the initial pain that never went away. Within 24-72 hours I called back and made an appointment with my provider so I could get it out. She ended up bullying me to keep it in, saying that I didn’t give it enough of a chance. So I kept it in. I ended up scheduling another appointment with a different provider who kindly took it out.Flash forward to the present day, I don’t think they are very personal with their patients, unless you’re pregnant. I recently had my annual exam with a different provider because my current one was booked until next year. She only had the speculum in for a few seconds before taking it out. No discussion whatsoever about anything during the appointment. Of course, she wasn’t my primary provider, so I wouldn’t expect her to know my history with women’s care. Although I wish she did take a look at my chart and go over it with me, instead of doing an in and out. I just feel that they rush through appointments and get you out faster than you came in. And wi to my primary provider, there is too much emphasis on putting me back on birth control, which is not something I want. I’ll probably be looking for a new provider who respects my beliefs and is more patient oriented, especially to non pregnant patients.
Saw Dr. Reed for my first “woman wellness” appointment. She was kind and answered any questions I had without judgement. I recommend Dr. Reed if you’re a young woman like me and nervous to see a Gynecologist!
The office has a welcoming atmosphere. The receptionist is friendly and kind. I love that they have students often to learn from them. Elise Gessler listened and had a comforting and gentle demeanor.
Dr. Eberts is one of the most outstanding doctors I have ever come across.... he saved my life during one of the births of my children. His wisdom and his outstanding care provided everything I needed with a high-risk pregnancy. Hes compassionate , kind , and very easy to talk to. You will not be disappointed by his care.
Doctor Amanda Reed is a hero. Her compassion and professionalism is truly phenomenal.Four years ago my wife and I began our journey towards parenthood. Doctor Reed cared for us through infertility treatments, two miscarriages, and an operation for the removal of an ovarian cyst.Last night Doctor Reed came to the hospital to deliver our first born child via C-section.Doctor Reeds presence eased my wifes tensions and helped to ensure the successful delivery of our newborn son.Thank you Doctor Reed and thank you to everyone at Womans Care of Wisconsin. We could not have done it without you.
I LOVE MY DOCTOR! Dr. Briana Williams is the BEST! The Staff is Kind and Very Helpful! I’ve been to a couple of OB doctors and I’m Very Comfortable with this Clinic! I now have my Daughters coming to this same doctor! I would recommend this Clinic to Anyone!
Absolutely love Womens Care!! Dr. Reed was amazing and helped this first time mom feel at ease! Also I liked the fact that she was so honest about everything and never would beat around the bush throughout my entire pregnancy.
They’re always the best,I love have my appointments with Jennifer Taubel ❤️
I have been a patient of Dr. Reed for the better part of a decade. She delivered my child, and as a first time mom I had no worries because I had (and continue to have) complete faith in Dr. Reed. She is absolutely amazing..
I’ve been going to Women’s Care for years, and highly recommend Dr. Vandenberg! She gives the best care and attention. The nurses are all wonderful and the receptionists are all friendly. 5/5 would recommend!
Dr. Yarroch was amazing, We got along really well. She was timely and professional. Even talked about sports. Id definitely recommend her.
Their billing office is unwilling and, “not interested” in working with you. You get approved for Caring Hearts at 100% and they down right REFUSE to help you take it out of collections. The supervisor states they, “WANT THEIR $750.00,” even though the collection agency gets 60% of that debt, they are unwilling to allow me to pay the 40% it cost them to put it into collections. Unwavering and uncaring on all levels. They won’t even get their full amount, they feel it is the principle to have single Mom’s who have high grade cervical dysplasia for through years of checking and blowing through $3,000 and $5,000 deductibles just to tell you to come back next year and do it again and again- to have them pay their full amount no matter your situation. Colposcopies, LEEPS, you name it, they want you to rack up money doing it but will not allow you to fix the problem, they just want the money to keep pouring in while they put a bandaid on the issue and wait for you to develop full blown cancer. Women’s Care of Appleton does not care about YOU like their motto states. They are smug and have zero empathy. Worst people ever. Do not go here.
He was super nice, informative and helpful. Very comfortable to be around I was a little worried going in but was very happy with my cares.
For the first time I felt so completely listened to and understood. He explained everything in a way that I could understand! I would absolutely recommend Dr.Anderson to everyone!!
Not only do you wait beyond apt time until you get seen, more waiting time in the office and once you get to see the Doctor, they rush you out the door to move to the next patient. I went through 3 different Drs here before starting to see a different doctor (not through Womens Care) that FINALLY helped me. Some doctors at Womens Care give treatment based on their own personal beliefs and not what is best for their patient.I would NEVER recommend this place if you are serious about getting medical help.
Horrible service, never going back.I’ve brought up a recurring problem to Elise, my NP since 2017. She repeatedly told me it was no big deal and would go away. After several years of being told I just have to deal with it, I called a nurse and told them they need to do something for me because I’m not gonna deal with this for the rest of my life. She told me to come in. I asked for a different provider. I went to Dr. Augustine who told me it was an abscess and that we needed to do an incision and drainage. Except when she did the procedure it was really just an incision, because nothing drained. She said “oh. Weird.” and sent me home. Now I’m stuck with the same problem, plus a huge bill.I’ve called back several times to follow up and ask what else we can do to fix it. Every time I call, Dr. Augustine is on vacation and they say they’ll call back and they never do. Yesterday I was told I need to have another surgery “but this one will be a lot more expensive” and that of course, Dr. Augustine is out of the office so I need to call back next week. I’ve called them so many times asking them to help me and they never call back or do anything to fix the problem. Terrible service.
Dr. Maria Vandenberg is the best. She didnt make me feel bad for trying for a vbac and supported me in the birth I wanted. In the end, I needed a sc, it really was medically necessary, but she was very gentle and kind about it. During the emergency cs, she was calm and collected. She is the rare combination of top notch doctor, kind human being and like having your favorite sister in the room. I thank God she became a doctor.
Dr Reed always shows respect, concern as well as her knowledge. I feel comfortable with her.
Very professional and timely. Felt cared for, listened to and informed of my condition. Very happy with the team.
Very poor service. Learned I was pregnant and then a week later started to miscarry. Called over the phone to see if I needed to come in and no one could answer my question. After waiting an hour finally got a call back and was told I needed to come in. I waited twenty minutes in the room to see the doctor for 5 min only for her to tell me I really didnt even need to come in. When I requested a blood draw, I waited another 40 minutes. I thought they forgot about me and went into the hall to ask. There were a whole bunch of people standing around being all snarky that I was being asked to be seen. When the blood results came back and confirmed I miscarried, I asked the dr to cancel my first prenatal appt I had scheduled. She never did, so a month later I get a text reminding me of this appointment I once made. I declined it via text and then had someone call me to reschedule. She never even looked at my chart. I wont be going back.
Super friendly staff, easy to find location and new building makes it very welcoming. Dr. Was very thorough with health & medical history. Took all steps to ensure safety & cleanliness of the office, and staff wore proper ppe. Highly recommend this location & its staff!
Dr. Reed is an amazing doctor. She has identified issues I have and takes the steps to help me.
Elise is great! I enjoy going to her, as she’s very easy to talk too, and answers my questions thoroughly!
Terrible communication in system. Was in for issues put on meds on a Thursday thru Tuesday. Called back on Monday morning as I was not any better. Informed Dr was off and they would get back to me. Im home sick from work waiting for call. NO call yet @4:30 so I called back. Was informed if running a fever, which I was. Id have to go to ER or Urgent care now Because the providers (Dr) all leave at 4:30. Hmm and my insurance provider is suppose to pick up this tab at URGENT CARE. I THINK NOT... I was proactive. Best part is Womens Care calls me Tuesday morning to tell me Dr. wants me to go on another antibiotic!!!REALLY??? A little late as you told me to go see someone else last evening.
I always feel so comfortable when I see Elise. She provides amazing care.
My doctor did not have any answers to my questions and they had me waiting in the room with my pants off for 30+ minutes before the doctor even came. While scheduling an appointment, the person on the phone had a horrible attitude and gave me the wrong time that my doctor was available so when I called work to see if I can have off I had to call back a second time to ask again. I also talked on the phone with the manager and was told I would get a call back and never did.
Very friendly staff. My OBGYN is very helpful, professional, and down to earth, which makes the physical exams a lot less nerve wracking. I highly recommend this place!
Dont come here, they dont care about you or your well being just want to make a quick buck. Theyre so cold hearted on the phone, very easily just to cast you to the side. Hung up on them crying, werent even willing to work with me.
Katie is amazing and knowledgeable. I look forward to working with her
Dr. Reed is absolutely amazing. Her Medical Assistant and RN are also amazing.
Good listener, knowledgeable, great bedside manner, and overall just a great appointment with Dr. Augustine.
Michelle is wonderful. Very knowledgeable, patient and kind.
Great clinic with great atmosphere. Staff are are friendly and Dr Vandenberg is the best!
Makes sure that all needs are met and leave feeling better than when you came in.
Dr. Was competent and thorough. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Women’s Care of Wisconsin has wonderful staff that makes you feel comfortable and are thorough.
I just love her! Dr. Yarroch is the best.
Becky delivered both my boys and I Loved all the staff, best experience.
Personal, friendly, competent
Would absolutely not recommend this place unless you got a lot of money to just throw away and dont care about being lied to and taken advantage of.
As always everyone is very friendly and attentive.
I am livid! This place doesn’t communicate with their patients in an effective and timely manner!!
Always a great experience.
Unhappy with billing protocols.
Elise is amazing!
Great care!
