The staff especially the PA was knowledgeable kind, compassionate and effective. It was a positive experience during a very challenging time for me. I had my first broken bone of my life. The PA provided a boot crutches and tape to wrap the toe. He showed me how to wrap it as well and advised me to cancel a vacation to Greece (my flight was leaving that afternoon)due to how much walking is involved and said i should get to a podiatrist asap. All very sound advise. I had an excellent experience.
Great facility for Walk- in - Medical needs.I made an appointment early that morning after a night of severe coughing and was seen at my appointed time. I received the care that i needed which carried me over until I was able to see my doctor a week later
This was the best urgent care experience Ive ever had! I had booked a time slot beforehand, and the whole process was extremely efficient. Every person throughout the process was kind and thorough, and communicative. The PA who saw me really took the time to narrow down my various symptoms and gave me succinct advice and next steps. Thank you all!
I was a walk-in, was able to check-in immediately, spoke to a doctor right away, waited for exam for about 15-20 minutes, received care with reading of vital signs and an EKG by obviously competent staff. Very satisfied.
The staff and doctor were friendly, however I feel extremely upset after my visit, as the staff and the doctor swindled me into singing a document that they claimed to be a form to be able to bill my insurance. However, shortly after I left I received a notification that my card will be billed and I had signed a payment agreement.I had already filled out all my insurance information prior to the visit and I have full coverage through my insurance. When I arrived at the clinic, the receptionist insisted to have a card on file despite me explaining Im fully covered. She stated I wouldnt be charged, they just have to have a card on file. Im a foreigner who hasnt been here too long, so Im not fully familiar with the system. This clinic clearly went out of their way to scam a pregnant woman who came in after a fall from the stairs. I would not recommend Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care.
Incredible experience this morning with Northwell GoHealth in Park Slope, from the same-day online booking, to the kindness at check-in, to the thorough and charismatic care from both the technician and the doctor. When I had a question about whether a treatment was covered, the doctor himself went and checked with billing beforehand. (It was.) I felt heard, was given quick treatment and peace of mind, and feel a lot better.
The staff was professional, empathetic, and attentive to my concerns. The facility was very clean. I received great service. Due to the online option to schedule my appointment time prior to my arrival. I saw a doctor in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this facility.
I had a really good experience today with everyone - the receptionist, the assistant to the doctor, the doctor (whose name I forgot - she had a russian or slavic accent). They were all great. Everything was on time. The facility was clean and quiet. Thank you.
I went to the appointment with my husband to get him checked out, and decided to also be seen as a walk-in. It was not busy, but they were still fast and efficient. The staff was very friendly. The doctor was great as well! I would Highly recommend this Urgent Care!!
I recently had the opportunity to experience Northwell Healths Urgent Care Services, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate. The facility itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The waiting area was comfortable and provided a calming environment. I didnt have to wait long to be seen by a healthcare professional, which was a pleasant surprise. The doctor who attended to me was thorough in their examination and took the time to listen to my concerns. They explained the diagnosis and treatment options in a clear and understandable manner. I felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire process.Overall, my experience at Northwell Healths Urgent Care Services was exceptional. The level of care and professionalism displayed by the staff exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of urgent medical attention. They truly deserve a 5-star rating.
Everyone is friendly and efficient. Well organized and communicates well. I had a great experience. Came because of the high rating and will definitely come back.
Staff was great, doctors listen and have treated me for covid, UTIs, injured knee, etc. There are 3 urgent care facilities near me, but this is the closest. However, I have had multiple issues with them and my insurance. In some cases, according to my insurance company, the bills were never submitted. I was just re-billed $585 for a tele-visit after I tested positive for covid last year and wanted a prescription for Plaxlovid. According to the Northwell bill I received, they were paid back in Sept 2023 and then it was clawed back a few days ago. According to insurance company, and they have no record of the visit. Theyre contacted the facility while I was on the phone, and Northwell says that they didnt bill them yet.So whats going on? This is the 3rd time this has happened with Go Health. I see Northwell for other doctors, and this never happens. I guess Im going to walk the extra blocks next time to another facility and not do another Telehealth visit with them. Its shame, because I like the providers, but this billing nonsense is just too much.
We arrived at 10:30 am for our 11:07 am appointment. We checked-in and we thought everything was ok. We saw the assistant and she checked my daughter temperature: She was patient and understanding, and the lady at the front desk is excellent at her job. The issue was the long wait time. We got so frustrated with waiting that we called another doctor’s office, schedule an appointment (on the same day) for your daughter. As we were leaving, the front desk said, “Thanks for your patience waiting on the doctor.” To which I responded, “We weren’t seen by the doctor and we are going somewhere else for (competent care).” She was apologetic and she said, “Let me get the doctor.” Now at 11:56 am we are being seen.
I showed up for my 4:15pm appointment and didn’t see a PA until 5pm even though I was the only patient there. But what was the most frustrating is they forgot to send my prescription to the pharmacy. 24 hours later, I’m still waiting for my medicine. If someone at Northwell can help me resolve this matter urgently, that would be greatly appreciated!
Very well run operation, a short wait, if you wait call. Over the last couple of years I’ve seen a provider named Alexander three times and he’s very good.
Very friendly and proficient staff, fast check in, on-site x-ray. Very attentive and thorough provider, accurate diagnosis and treatment. Very clean center, very professional atmosphere. Great alternative to ER, instead of waiting for 4-6 hours to be seen, whole visit took about 30 minutes with no waiting time. Thank you Talila, Camiel and PA DeeDee for taking an excellent care of me. Best Urgent Care in Park Slope!!!
The wait time I always reasonable. The staff are the desk, medical assistant s, and PAs are great.
They didnt take an X-ray and sent me home with nothing and ended up finding a rib fracture at another physicians office later. I paid $575.00 for 15-minute nurse visits for nothing. I wont go back.
Matt, the tech assistant who took my initial information was friendly and professional. And Stephanie, the PA who stitched up a laceration Id sustained, did excellent work and fully-informed me about all aspects of care.
Honestly the best urgent care experiences I have had! From the receptionist, medical assistant to the Dr. I’m very impressed, will be my go to emergency spot now! 🫶🏽 thank you!!!
The staff was extremely accommodating and helped me get a last-minute appointment, even though they were already in the process of closing for the evening. Great care, in and out very quickly.
After two bad experiences at CityMD, which used to be terrific in Park Slope, it was reassuring to have a really good visit with an excellent doctor at Northwell. Relieved to have a new urgent care, when needed! Highly recommend!
I visited this location twice over the holiday break for a virus that triggered my asthma since my Primary Care Physician was out of town. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of care and attentiveness I received – the PA, Stefanie Fadel, saw me both times and remembered that I had been in and how I had seemed a week prior. She assessed me as a whole person rather than a check-list and made me feel very listened to and cared for. The recommendations and medications she provided were perfect. The space was clean and check-in was easy. Everyone was professional and kind!
Very smooth process. Not a long wait at all. I definitely recommend this place. A modern office. The physicians assistant Mary Ann is very friendly and deserves a big bonus. 👏 the doctor was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. I would come back here if i ever need.
Physician John George has been amazing and very attentive. Clean office highly recommend better than City MD
My experience here was very welcoming and warm. Everyone was extremely nice. I have recommended my family and friends to this urgent care. The professionalism made me relax more when Dr. Stephanie removed the glass from my left foot.
Highly recommend if you need Urgent care. Everyone is friendly and helpful. On multiple visits I was treated by Stefanie Fadel, PA. She is an exceptional provider who is truly caring and takes time to review best treatment options.
The best things were it was open on weekends, easy to do, accepted insurance, friendly helpful staff, PA listened to my problem, accurate diagnosis, no surprises.
The staff and doctors were very friendly and helpful. Great enviroment
I like this urgent care. I have been here a few times. I wasnt waiting long. The nurse and doctor were professional, friendly and listened to my concerns. I did not feel rushed. I was able to get my prescription. I have had a good overall experience.
As others have shared in reviews, do not go here for a covid test. They charge you $575 for an urgent care visit even if all you thought you were getting was a covid test. I needed a test result because I am a hospital employee. I pay for my hospitals most expensive insurance plan and still have a huge bill from this place because of the way they mislead you.
This is a great urgent care I have been to a few times over the past couple of years. They are easy to get an appointment with and their waiting room is peaceful. I usually have a lot of questions about why and how did I get this??, and the medical providers here always take time to listen and answer thoughtfully.
I never write a bad review, but wow this place will rob you! I was billed $575 for someone to check out my wrist and then another $198 for a wrist splint for tendinitis. Insurance covered less than half and what would have been a simple trip to my GP (free) cost me $450. My credit card was also charged without my knowledge or consent, even though the lady at the front desk told me she would call me before hand to authorize a transaction. do not waste your money if you have the time to see your GP.Update: What’s even more funny is the reply below was sent after I wrote to the company twice and they still have done nothing about it.
2nd time visiting the Park slope location and it was an excellent experience. Professional staff and easy to make an online appointment. Was seen in a timely manner which I value. They took excellent care of me and followed up with a referral the very next day. Excellent all around experience. Wouldnt think of going anywhere else if ever in need again. Clean office and safety procedures followed.
We’ve just moved to the area and of course, our toddler got a nasty case of croup just about the day we arrived. We went in this afternoon for some help figuring out what was up, making sure he was safe, and getting some medication and good advice. Our PA, Alex Melnikov and the Medical Assistant (whose name I didn’t get, but was lovely) were both very helpful, informative and reassuring. Our sick kiddo was not a willing participant in the checkup, shall we say, but they were kind *and* got it done. There was no wait around 4pm when we went.I’m glad to know they’re close by next time we need them. Thank you!
Overall my experience could be considered good for check in and nurse who took my info. Very smooth, pleasant and thorough. Unfortunately the PA who was there today pretty much blew me off. Maybe thought I was looking for pain meds or something I don’t know. I have a lot of autoimmune issues and even with updated vaxes I still tend to get whatever, this time I believe it’s shingles without a rash but with an eye infection. Totally possible, not crazy unusual. Could tell PA was set against having any conversation or even reading background that the nurse took, or asking me ANY questions. When I tried to volunteer info I felt fully dismissed and cut off. She was with me for 4 minutes and I had to push for the ointment for my eye that is super painful and swollen shut. It takes a lot for me to ask for help as I always power through but this is incredibly painful. A blood test or any conversation would have been helpful but because I didn’t have the rash she clearly thought I was self diagnosing or something and instead of listening she cut me off and moved me along. Not a good experience especially since there was no one else waiting. A waste of time and money in this case. I have had other better experiences at this location, not today though.
Always pleasant and welcoming. There are my favorite urgent care
My experience here was okay. The doctor did prescribe me some medications that helped a little bit with my symptoms. My main complaint was that when the doctor went to listen to my lungs he did it through a thick sweatshirt as well as a tshirt below. In the moment I thought it was odd and I should have said something but he probably would have said that he could get a clear reading that way. I ended up feeling progressively worse after that visit and went to another doctor who listened and heard fluid in my lungs whereas the doctor at Northwell said my lungs were clear as a whistle. When I looked into whether you can you get a clear reading through layers of clothes with a stethoscope, it turns out the answer is no.
I have receievd a great service at this center. The only thing is that sometimes the wait time is abit long.
As a former city employee working for the largest municipal hospital system in the US I was not very certain what kind of experience I was going to have because of my past experiences were not very good. Now as a Northwell Health employee I went and I am happy I did because it was the best experience I have ever had. The staff was great, the check in process was easy and the people were amazing. Got my medication next door at the pharmacy. As an employee I am super proud to be working for such a great quality company.
My appointment time was honored. I waited a maximum of 5 minutes in the very clean reception area. The nursing staff were professional, caring, and efficient. The doctor was thorough and caring. He took the time to listen to me and to perform his examination. Three days later, I got a call from him to check on how I was feeling and to follow up on a few specific things we had discussed.Blood and urine were taken, and the labs were returned within 24 hours, maybe even sooner, in the patient portal. I was then able to share the results very easily with my PCP.Excellent experience overall.
The staff and doctor here were incredibly professional and caring. Very impressed by the care I received combined with frequent communication. Thanks Dr Fadel, Stefanie , You’re great and awesome as always!!
I had an amazing experience here. I sliced my finger late one evening -- too late for me to get it taken care of immediately. So I made an appointment at Northwell for the next morning. I was able to fill in all my information online. They confirmed immediately that they took my insurance, which eased my mind. I arrived on time. They looked at my ID and immediately put me in a room. Within 5 minutes someone took my vitals. Not very long after that I saw a lovely PA who looked at my finger, confirmed Id need stitches and stitched me up. He explained everything he was doing, warned me when he was about to do something painful, and gave me clear care and follow-up instructions. I think the whole visit took 45 minutes from start to finish. Also, the place is immaculate. Ive not gotten my bill yet (its only been a few days), so I cant comment on costs, but this was the most pleasant and efficient urgent care experience Ive ever had.
(Park Slope location) Both times Ive gone, I was able to schedule a virtual spot so I didnt have to wait. Everything is very clean and everyone is friendly and professional. My second visit the PA called me later in the day to check back in about a medication. It was something she didnt have to do and I was grateful for her consideration and thoughtfulness. Highly recommend!
GRIFT. I had some pain in my ear and came here to get it checked out. Someone on the medical staff briefly looked in my ears and told me that she didnt see any problems. The visit did not last more than 10 minutes, but I was then charged 575 DOLLARS for the visit. When I asked them to review the charges and send me an itemized bill, they had the GALL to charge me another 6 dollars (and, of course, they did not drop the charges). AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Friendly and professional staff. I was seen by physician’s assistant and was not given option to be seen by a doctor even though I requested at front desk. Made it seem like no doctor was on staff on a weekday afternoon.UPDATE: Had to visit another doctor days later who diagnosed an infection that needed antibiotics, something the assistant missed.
In and out in under 30 min! Really wonderful experience here. In particular their front desk nurse was incredibly clear, patient and kind. She took care of both an elderly lady and small child while I was there and was equally good at relaying information and making sure everyone felt comfortable and heard even with hearing difficulties and masks. PA that I saw was professional and efficient. Facility was clean and well-kept.
Its kind of insane. I came here and talked to the doctor for no more than 15 minutes regarding my abdominal pain. She suggested the pain is possibly from my period and that if I still feel it after a day, to go to the hospital instead of come back. There wasnt much she could do for me because my symptoms werent indicative of anything serious. However, my explanation of benefits just came - turns out they billed my insurance for a new office patient for a 30-44 min consultation. My visit lasted all of 15 minutes at most. The way these doctors try to scam insurance is just unbelievable.
AVOID at all costs. The doctor didnt look closely at my wound, wouldnt even lean in to examine it - she looked at it from a distance like I was a leper with unconcealed disgust and prescribed the wrong treatment. I ended up going to a surgeon who told me everything Northwell doctor advised me was wrong. This is not medical care, this is unprofessionalism of the lowest order with the highest prices. This visit cost me $550, whereas a surgeon consult elsewhere was $200.Another note - their so-called customer service auto-responds to complaints, pretending to care about resolution. They dont - they still charged me the full amount after months of review. This is a scam.
I was severely misdiagnosed by Dr. Alexander Melnikov and ended up hospitalized after following the doctors advice. DO NOT go here. Do not trust these people to help you. I suspected I had mono (I WAS RIGHT) and the doctor refused to test me, told me I was having a panic attack, and that I should go home and smoke some weed. No response or contact from management.Another update: I was charged, and it was significantly more expensive than my hospital bill. Everything about this place, and “urgent care” as a concept, is a scam. Just go to the hospital if you have an emergency.Edit: it’s a real shock that over a month later, management has not returned my contact. This place is total garbage, and should be shut down.Another update: my email to the provided address was bounced back. There is no customer service.
Friendly staff, calm morning, and giving no bad news to patients
In the past week I’ve been in close contact with multiple people who have tested positive. I had plans to go home for Christmas and between the close contact and the rising cases in NYC, I wanted to be sure that I wasn’t going to bring it with me to my parents. Even though it was a long wait to get in (which you will find anywhere in the city right now) the staff was wonderful and they are very understanding. The testing process itself was quick. You get your results in the patient portal, right away if you get the rapid (but it’s longer if you get a PCR). If you don’t want to have a long wait I would suggest signing up for a time slot on their website (but be quick because they go fast). I would definitely come back here again to get tested and have recommended it to my friends.
I used to go here regularly for COVID tests early in the pandemic. The staff that I talked to directly here were great, HOWEVER Northwells billing department is currently threatening to send me to collections after taking over a year to inform me that I owed them $120 for getting a COVID test in February 2021, while briefly uninsured, and before vaccines were available to the public. No one informed me that I would be charged for this before I got the test, and the bill I received in the mail over a year later did not even explain what I was being charged for in the first place. Threatening to send the uninsured to collections over a COVID test that was taken before vaccines were available is abhorrent. I do not know if any ethical healthcare practices still exist in the US, but this is certainly not one of them
Every member of the team was extremely professional & pleasant, especially the young lady at the desk. I watched her interact with other patients as well, beautiful disposition.Especially in these difficult times with Covid, its not easy, keep up the exceptional work, a great team!
Stefanie, we very kind and she helped me with cold. She noticed my wheezing and prescribed me medication that helped me feel better. The scribe, Solena, was very sweet and made sure I had no allergies to medications. I had a great visit.
I was pleasantly impressed! The facility was nice and new and clean. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who processed me very quickly. I did happen to be the only one there. The doctor that took care of me did so right away and took into consideration my allergies to certain medications to find one that would cure my problem. This she sent right next-door to the pharmacy that I was able to pick up in five minutes! Thank you for having this facility so close to my home!
Super focused, super patient, super friendly, and administered the Covid test totally painlessly and quick. The Physician made me feel so comfortable that my blood pressure was closer to normal than it has been in years. I felt I made new friends there and although Im not planning on being sick again, if I am, they are the ones Ill see first Thank you.
The place is really clean, appoints we’re accepted on time, front desk is great. They had a nice temperament on the phone and in person. Staff is friendly and did the job! My husband and I took a Covid 19 test and antibody test. Receiving the results on line took me only 2 days. His was one test result arrived in 3 days and I don’t know about the other one yet. Payment was not clear. Since test is free I was asked to keep a credit card on file. I called billing and they removed the credit card. So be sure if you take the test, there is no reason for ur credit card to be used.
I have to get tested a lot for school and I often go to Northwell since its close by. But every time I get tested majority of the time it is very painful experience. It usually takes a day to recover from my sore nostril. But I had just experience a horrifying testing this Friday on April 8th. The person that swabbed my nose put the swab all the way up in my nose until it reached my throat. I was shocked, it was so painful. That has never happened me before, for it to go that far. After I left and came home I thought I would feel better but the pain just got worse. It felt something was stuck in the back of my throat. The next morning I woke up with a sore throat, a runny nose, and itchy ear only on the side I was tested on (my right side). I thought the 3rd day was going to better but no I feel even worse. I got my test back and I was negative. I had came in on Friday completely healthy and now Sunday horrible sick with a cold. I had called to complain to tell them this isnt right and the nose should be treated more delicately. The receptionist was not nice and not helpful. I was a medical receptionist during 2020 and I know how you are suppose talk to an upset patient and how she spoke to me was not it. She is always rude to me when I come into the office with a bad attitude. I dont understand why people go into the medical field or customer service if you dont like talking or dealing with people.
This urgent care is normally so friendly and helpful, but my most recent visit has been one of the most frustrating medical experiences Ive ever had. First, the physician that saw me was incredibly condescending and provided false information. He said the only pharmacy that carried the prescription I needed was a CVS thats 30 mins away. I said fine, I need the medicine so itll have to be okay. When I called to confirm it was ready, they said it wouldnt be ready for whole a week because they dont keep it in stock. It took 24hrs and 8 calls for them to reissue the prescription to the pharmacy I had originally registered with on my intake form. That pharmacy is right across the street from me. They kept confirming the order went through but whenever Id call the pharmacy they said they hadnt received anything. It took me literally begging them to let me stay on the line while they placed the order for it to finally go through (a request they had denied on previous calls). After all that, my original pharmacy had the order ready in 15 minutes. Idk if its laziness or negligence or what, but the way I was treated by staff and customer service was so frustrating. Theyre dealing with sick people. That kind of thoughtlessness is unacceptable.
After going around and trying to get a PCR test and finding limited availability or long lines I went into this site, there was minimal wait, the reception was friendly and efficient and I was able to fill out my information on my cell phone. I was seen Within 20 minutes of arrival if not less. I paid a little extra for the expedited PCR but got the results from the portal within the hour time frame given and a follow up call from the doctor. This was a very good experience and I have no complaints whatsoever. I will definitely come back here again.
I’m within blocks so this is a convenient location. The office is blissfully serene, and the young lady at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and informative. A PA, Natalie (?) removed my stitches. She couldn’t have been more helpful and gentle. She explained what I could expect, did her best to keep me distracted during the more difficult parts of removal, and explained thoroughly how I needed to care for the area going forward. I would definitely recommend them.
A few days ago I went to Urgent Care for a covid test. I had been dreading the nasal swab, but the staff is so skillful that it was nothing. It was such a relief to have a negative result. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. I feel very lucky to have Urgent Care a short walk away.
Friendly staff. Clean facility. Short wait time. I got the Antibodies testing . The doctors make you feel comfortable. They said results would be back in 5 days but got results back in 2 - 3 days. I am going back to get tested for a second time for work requirements. I totally trust them with the COVID test.
Great service! Zero waiting time! The spotless modern facility, friendly, and professional staff. From the beginning, it was quite tricky to catch online a spot for appointment. But I was able to get it on the day and time our school wanted us to take a COVID test after winter break. We came to the office, texted HERE, and were immediately called in. Results came in the email on the third day. YES, I would recommend this place. Thank you for your excellent service!
Super friendly front desk & doctor!
Talila at the front desk is alway so kind and wonderful every time I go. She deserves a raise!!! I’ve never waited once for a covid test (have gotten tested here 3 times!) and the entire staff is always kind, communicative and thoughtful. And I usually get my results within 2-3 days!
Staff were extremely pleasant and worked efficiently. I was able to get my COVID test results within 10 minutes and out the door. My only gripe (and reason for removing a star) is that it took forever to find an available appointment. I’ve checked for days, multiple times a day.
Super friendly and professional staff. Saw the PA for a COVID test. She was very kind and as gentle as you can be with one of those tests. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. The online booking works! Highly recommend their services.
The two Doctors I have met there are seriously trained professionals. Good bedside manner too. The office is impeccably clean. The woman at the front desk is superb. Very well run. Schedule on line and you will not have to wait.
The people who work there are very nice and professional
If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. I had to get a Covid test and asked the front desk if my insurance covered it. The person at the front desk checked and responded yes. Several months later I got a bill for $600 (I could have gone across the street for a free test). When I inquired about the bill, the customer service department explained that they had given me accurate information (my insurance covered 10% .... of a $600 bill that should have been free). I AM STILL GETTING BILL EVEN THOUGH I SPECIFICALLY ASKED ABOUT MY COVERAGE AND GoHealth Urgent Care misrepresented how much coverage I had. I have tried very hard to resolve this offline (I have never posted review before) but I dont what else to do. Im furious that this organization is taking advantage of people during a pandemic when healthcare is critical.
Totally satisfied. I walked in and was seen by a doctor in a few minutes. No waiting time. Everyone is very professional, competent and friendly. My problem was taken care of and I was given advice on follow up procedures. I highly recommend Northwell Urgent Care.
I was treated well on my visit to Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care. After registering in 10 minutes, I was diagnosed, and got my results in less than 30 minutes. The entire Staff was courteous and professional.I definitely recommend this location.
The people are very nice, and the place seemed very clean. I like that you dont have to wait on a line and can make an appointment. I was taken on time. Unfortunately I have to give my experience a mixed review since it went downhill after that. I found it inappropriate that the nurse giving me my Covid test had on only a paper mask. When I asked why there was no shield, I was told that it was because I said I have no symptoms (before my temp was taken) and therefore there was no need to wear a shield.Since we know that there are between 20 and 40% asymptomatic people, I found the response surprising. The nurse also took down my medication on a blue sticky pad, as well as my vitals. Not surprisingly, there is an error in the health record as to my height. The second person who came in to give me a sheet of paper and explain how the patient portal worked also had no shield, and was standing right over my shoulder. I said I was uncomfortable with the situation, and the answer again was that I had no symptoms. All very surprising. More disturbing, is the fact that it is now day eight, and I still have no results and I’m told it is possible I may receive them on day 10 but they weren’t sure. Again, people were very nice and accommodating but the lack of more protection for me and for them was very surprising.
I arrived without an appointment to get my annual flu shot and was taken right away. Strong COVID protection protocols, the friendly and helpful staff and the cleanliness of the facility all combined to raise my comfort level and they had me, with bandaid in place, quickly on my way.
At Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care at 365 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238. There’s no wait time. The visit was very short and the staff are very attentive and kind. DR. Melnikov Alexander was very informative, he went above and beyond to educate about my situation. I was very happy with my visit.
The staff are kind, polite and helpful. It’s really easy to make an appointment for a COVID test online, and I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. Highly recommend.
I had gone here on a Sunday after having made an online appointment and was lucky to find practically no wait at all and the Doctor was very soft spoken and he didnt rush me at all. The doctor gave me the correct medicine I needed after having an ongoing problem for more than ten days. I recommend anyone not feeling well to go to this clinic, without hesitation.
The staff was extremely professional, friendly and welcoming. The doctor was very knowledgeable with the findings of my injury (unlike most urgent care centers I’ve been to) and gave expert advise. I will be sure to visit the same center with any prospective injuries.
Getting the COVID test was ok - but the billing experience is a nightmare. We got charged hundreds of dollars just for getting a COVID test, which our insurance covers for free. This means that they billed our insurance incorrectly, and they refuse to fix the error. Dont go here unless you want to end up with a $267 bill for something that should cost you nothing. I suspect a majority of the other reviews are fake given how bad our experience was.
This is long overdue..... Last yr my 9 yr old was sick. Coughing fever the works. I came here because another clinic didnt take my insurance. We walked in and the front desk was a little brisque but I passed it over. Come to find out that person was my Dr,( P.A) and she was AWESOME. She made me feel at ease,, great for me the freaked out mother and she talked to me and my daughter with care and concern. She treated my daughter like a person, she talked with her and made her feel like she was part of the process. The other woman there was great laughing with us and keeping us at ease also. Clean and up to date office as well. I enjoyed my visit and I wasnt there all day either. A big plus because kids dont like to wait.
The entire staff was very accommodating. They made my health scare tolerable. Dr. Swartz made me feel as if she was caring for a love one, of her own. Thank you Doc for your exquisite expertise, professionalism and wonderful bedside manner. We need more like you. Youre the best!
Got sent a bill for a ridiculous $700 for a simple urgent care visit with COVID test, even though it is supposed to be in-network. The visit was also inconclusive - they didn’t find out what was wrong with me and just sent me home.
The clinic was so clean and everyone was friendly and kind. I signed in online and didn’t wait at all. The doctor (Stephanie) was very thorough and helped me so much with the vertigo I’d been experiencing all week! I walked out feeling like a new person. I highly recommend Northwell!
Was there for covid testing. 1 star for customer service and attitude. Arrogant stuff seems very impatient and rude.As far as the medical procedure Im not a doctor but definitely was 3 times more invasive and uncomfortable than other 3 tests i had in the past several months. They treat you like a criminal if your ask dropped your nose accidentally and make you feel lower then them.i wouldnt step my foot in there nor recommend anyone else to visit.
The fastest, easiest, cleanest, friendliest medical visit I’ve had in a very long time. I was in and out in 15 minutes and still received excellent treatment. Felt better the next day! Can’t imagine a better urgent care experience.
My appointment for a Covid test was met to the moment. Absolutely no waiting. Everyone was polite and competent. The facility was clean and disinfected. The test wa a quick and although I was told my results would take 3-5 days I gotMy result in 48 hours
I appreciated the fast, respectful, and competent service.
Dr. Ebalu was kind and knowledgeable. She helped with my injury and made all the right calls, with care and medication prescription. She heard all my questions and gave clear instructions for further care. She went above and beyond to help in a situation that was traumatic and painful.Staff was friendly as well.
Very professional and courteous staff, was taken into an exam room promptly upon arriving and had a quick and easy exam! Got my physical and ppd test done and was in and out in less than 15 minutes!
These doctors are extremely capable. I’m so happy I found this urgent clinic in Brooklyn. They were able to diagnose something my regular primary care had no clue about and didn’t even searched for. I definitely recommend them if you need urgent help. Very Professional and reliable. They called me immediately with the test results and followed up with my primary care doctor
Got there 15 minutes before they opened. Seen immediately since no one else was before me and the front staff clerk was super helpful and polite. The PA saw me almost immediately and did a great job, along with being polite. Was in and out within 30 minutes. Place was extremely clean as well.
I had a great experience at GoHealth in Park Slope. My husband and I both had the flu, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The receptionist was incredibly kind and patient with us (the flu had us a little slow), the x ray tech that administered my flu test was very nice and extremely professional and the PA that diagnosed us was also friendly, candid, and gave us good advice. I will absolutely return in the event of another emergency.
This place blew my mind in terms of QUALITY of health care. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Ebony and she assisted me with checking in and getting my insurance figured out. I saw the doctor within 10 min and she actually talked to me and made me feel like she cared about my health. The experience in the clinic earns them the 5.. 3 days after my visit the office called me and asked how I was feeling. I have never received the customer service or patient care that I did at this urgent care center. I don’t want to be sick or injured again but if I need help in the future I will absolutely be going here.Great job to the team at GoHealth Urgent Care and thank you.
Kind and caring staff. Didnt wait long.
Im a person who dreads the waiting in a doctors office. So I decided on using urgent care for an ankle injury. The team were great and very professional and friendly. But most importantly the wait was very short since your allowed to preregister online...Definitely recomend this place.
The staff was consistently polite, professional and helpful. It was an unexpected bonus that we could save time by pre-registering online. My wife and I were impressed with the care I received, the clear explanation of my condition and its possible ramifications. I also appreciated the follow up call from Stefanie Fadel, the very PA who had seen me.While I hope to never again need to go to an urgent care facility, this experience was made as smooth and calming as possible.
From the minute you walk...dealing with the receptionist to when you go back and deal with the doctors, the experience is awesome.the customer service is second to nonethe staff is friendly and personable and very friendly. This place was awesome.Super cleanGreat and friendly staffWent in for my flu shotQuick turnaroundI was in and out in under 20 minutesI will definitely go backBrian BK
This is my third Covid test with Northwell Health. It’s a very pleasant and professional atmosphere. Never a long wait and the staff is great. I have referred several friends and family here for testing. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend Northwell Health for all your urgent care needs.Sharon KinneyBrooklyn, NY
I went here to get tested for covid after developing symptoms. They were very nice and fit me in soon after I walked in. Unfortunately, every other interaction with this place has been negative. They mislabeled my first test so I had to come in days later for a second swab. They told me that second swab would be expedited, so I checked back the next day, to find out that that was not the case because it had been mislabeled again. Meanwhile, my symptoms had gotten a lot worse, with a high fever and throbbing headache. After several times talking to people here and having them say “I’ll call you back” but never calling back, I got connected with someone who said that I would have to speak with the regional manager, as she could not field my requests any more. She started to give me the number and then paused, disconnected, and returned to say that she couldn’t give me the number. After expressing my frustration, she said I needed to “not be so anxious”. Go here at your own risk.Update: downgrading to 1 Star. I am still waiting for results after 2 full weeks and have had many more unpleasant exchanges on the phone with this clinic. The feedback email below is unresponsive. Do not go here for COVID testing.
Will randomly not have an X-Ray technician, meaning they will still charge you for a visit but be unable to diagnose. Their alternative is to go halfway across the city.
Friendly staff, warm environment (free tea in the waiting room), knowledgeable and caring PA and physicians! I was in and out very quick, but I did not feel rushed at all. I brought my 5 year old son in here once and he did not cry at all!
My wait time was probably under 15 minutes. My doctor was so kind and empathetic with what I was going through. Ive been to urgent cares where the doctors were very dismissive but not at Northwell. The doctor prescribed my medication right away.
This place is awesome. The staff is friendly they took the proper steps to keep everyone safe. No overcrowding, very clean, short lines, they take appointments, and your pcr test is done in house so you get results in the hour. So happy I found this place
Excellent experience! Staff was super friendly and amazingly effective in helping my young daughter remove splinters from her feet. Will definitely be back and really appreciate the experience we had!
I visited on 8/24/21 . As always the lovely lady on reception welcomed me and checked me in, the Dr. I saw was lovely. The meds they called in for me where out of stock, so I called them and again the receptionist took care of me and the Dr. Called in a new script. From the front desk, nurses and Drs and PA they care about what they do and it shows.
This was my first time interacting with Northwell Health. The staff was remarkably kind and professional (particularly given that I was visiting during the height of COVID testing) and kept the line (due to popularity, I waited about 3 hours) orderly, but in a transparent and pleasant manner. I actually can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff was. The information as to what COVID testing this site provided was made clear by word of mouth from the staff, as well as on several electronic platforms. I went to a facility near Flatbush and 7th in Brooklyn and would absolutely visit again!
By far the best place to get a COVID test. You might have to refresh the appointment page quite a bit but it’s worth it. Seamless check in and appointment process. I’ve been here a few times and I’m usually in and out in 20 minutes total. Super clean facility and friendly staff!
Great experience despite coming in for a sprained ankle. Check in process was quick and simple and I was seen after about a 10min wait. The PA on call (Xiomara) was professional, answered all my questions and had a very pleasant bed side demeanor. They also followed up with me and helped me schedule a consult with an ortho doc.Hopefully I don’t need to come back (I mean who wants to be sick) but will make this location my go to from here on out.~Rich P
A++ Urgent Care facility! First... I have to say that the staff is very pleasant and professional. The X-ray technician Talila [who was covering the front desk] has the best bedside manner. Dr. Stefanie Fadel was great as well. The check-in process was super simple, little wait time, the facility is clean with clear social distancing signage and practices.HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This was the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. The staff was so warm and welcoming even though I walked in under an hour before close. The doctors and PAs were so nice and just treated you like a real person, instead of another patient on a list. And xrays in house.
Really nice receptionist/nurse! The COVID swab test was not nearly as painful/uncomfortable as I had feared.Wish the Northwell app was a bit slicker and easier to use. (For instance, it seems impossible to link two accounts, like a parent and a child.) App feels a bit like it was developed 10 years ago and never updated.
The actual service was fine but they explicitly said “please call back if your symptoms worsen”. Symptoms worsened and when I called they had no interest trying to help me connect with any kind of medical professional. Wouldn’t go back here.
I’ve visited this location several times for covid testing and also for my flu shot and I always have a great experience. It’s very clean and the employees are super nice and helpful. Making appointments online is easy and I recommend it to anyone looking to get tested!
Don’t think a person should be asked to explain themselves four times on why they need a Covid test and which kind. Especially when it comes to taking the oath “ Physician assistants have an ethical obligation to see that each of their patients receives appropriate care. PAs should be sensitive to the beliefs and expectations of the patient. PAs should recognize that each patient is unique and has an ethical right to self-determination.” Which wasn’t upheld during my visit. The other staff was well trained and have exemplified what it meant to be in a health care setting. But it is unfortunate that he was handling my care, if he is exhausted with his job and need time away from his career then please sir take a leave of absence and re evaluate what health care means to you. We all have positions and jobs in this world that may or may not be for us and that is a discussion for yourself and your supervisor. I will continue to send my concern with the company’s management.
I have a history a strep throat. And oddly, the rapid strep test always comes back negative. So, most physicians I see will give me an antibiotic and ask me stop use upon a negative culture result, or continue use if positive. Upon explaining this to Ryan, the PA I saw, he told me there is nothing he could do for me but take some Flonase for my stuffy nose and wait out the culture. He was extremely rude, condescending, and defensive about the practice of sound medicine, instead of listening to his patient. I went to another doctor for a second opinion. I had strep. So, instead of being treated immediately for a condition I knew I had, I was in the office working with others for two days before being treated. The only reason Im even giving two stars is because the rest of the staff was so extremely friendly, kind, and caring. I wouldnt waste your time here if Ryan walks into your exam room.**Update: changing my review to a 1 star because establishment reached out asking me to sort the issue with them. I did. And they never responded to my email.***
The staff provided excellent client service! Regarding the Covid testing, I strongly suggest a virtual line using text messages when the clients turn is imminen, in order to spare walk-in clients from 3-hour wait, which is much worse during the winter.
Unprofessional reception staff with misinformation. The receptionist told me with confidence that my visit would cost $0. I was then charged $506 for the first visit, and $506 for the second visit. After 6 phone calls to their unhelpful, unfriendly billing department, they knocked one bill down to $325 and one down to $400. This is complete robbery when walk-ins can pay $120 which I wouldve happily paid upfront on the day of my visit.
Great job! Phone wait time to schedule the appt was minimal. The process once inside was also efficient, and the staff very friendly. Only downside is that they were fully booked for the next 2 days.
Everyone was wonderful. Caring and attentive. They took great care of me? Did everything right Nd got me on the toad to recovery. I can’t say enough to express my deep gratitude for their excellent care at a very stressful time..
The registration process was very easy. The staff was efficient and friendly. The Dr. Was so easy going it put me at ease. The Covid test was simple and it did not hurt and was very minimally uncomfortable. I would come here again.
I’ve never felt so respected and cared for at a doctors office. So appreciate having this urgent care around with this level of kindness, professionalism and timeliness.
If you need Urgent Care and live in the Park slope, Prospect Heights area this is the place to be attended to! Great staff, short waiting time and excellent medical care
I have been to too many urgent cares in NYC where I have left feeling like I wasted time and money and like I was not being cared for. However, the team at Northwell provided this sick lady one of the best healthcare experiences I have had in this city! So caring, so kind and so so lovely beyond words! I’m feeling so much better and I am sending everyone I know to you guys!
First time I have needed to use an urgent care facility. Very clean, modern and was seen rather quickly but most of all the young lady at the front desk set the tone from the start with her welcoming and friendly attitude.
As others have said, 1) low wait time, 2) friendly, helpful staff (esp. Nicole up front), and really good RNs, Nurse practitioners, etc. Really good spot. Only thing I wish theyd change is to embrace that they are in Prospect Heights!
Good place, but I was told it was viral when in fact the next day at my ENT I was told its bacterial and given a proper antibiotic. My copay is $50 and I sort of regret going here first. However it was fast, clean, and friendly.
Great urgent care facility. Clean, attentive enoigh front desk staff, and clean facility. I came here due to a piece of glass getting stuck in my foot that needed removing but the wound had already healed. A prior ugent care facility had told me they could not reopen the wound and left me in pain to seek a surgical clinic at a hospital on a Sunday.I tried Northwell as a backup and was seen, and treated immediately. The doctor had great bedside manner, and worked swiftly with minimal discomfort.I was in and out in 30 mins and picked up my prescription at the pharmacy next door. Highly recommend if youre in a pinch!
First I had an virtual visit was told one thing, and then told something different during my physical appointment. The space is so small, overhead the medical assistants say my name twice while discussing my care. Overall, if you know why you are going there, state what u want and leave. I personally believe all urgent calls are running on the same scale. It’s sad that healthcare in nyc has become so bad.P.s. if anyone knows a good doc, please let me know.
So glad to have GoHealth nearby. Can see a highly-qualified medical professional on very short notice. I know the entire staff will be responsive and supportive. I trust them.
$750 bill for a childs COVID test!!!AND they never even bothered to call and tell us the result. No patient portal page either, where my lab tests would be posted - like EVERY doctor office in the world these days has.
I have no complaints about this facility. The staff was pleasant and willing to listen to my concerns regarding my illness. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone.
Very convenient urgent care, for what I needed to do I got an appointment, the staff was very nice and welcoming, the social distancing very well organized and my nurse and Doctor were both friendly as well as professional and fast. I highly recommend this medical office and would certainly go back if I was facing an emergency situation.
We were caught in Covid travel restrictions whilst visiting Brooklyn. No matter, Northwell took care of my partner and me seamlessly. My partner developed regular flu and a UTI and the team at Northwell handled his issues professionally and tested us both twice for Covid. When I returned to Brooklyn, they again tested me and advised on self isolation before I stepped into childcare for our new grandchild. We highly recommend Northwell for the smooth administrative process, kind support staff and fabulous doctors, nurses, and physician assistants. Ps. The Covid tests were relatively painless. Thank you!
Such a friendly and helpful staff. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Cards with QR codes brought you to the portal where you could see test results . Efficient and well run!
Very quick to make the appointment and get in, but watch out for the billing department! I would not recommend getting your covid test here before checking with your insurance!
Excellent service. Courteous and kind. I really appreciate the staff And how they handle patients and their concerns. I actually wish there was a way to have them be my primary physicians!
Schedule a covid test here because I developed symptoms. When I arrived they told me they didn’t accept my insurance (Oscar) even though they were on a list of in-network testing sites provided by my insurance. They told me a test would cost over $200. They also gave me a list of other testing sites that was completely inaccurate.
A very positive, comforting experience - when you need medical help the staff here is up to the job and did their best in providing the care i needed in a clean & healthy space. Hope not to need to return very often 😇but when I do this is a go-to place.
This was my worse day of my life ,3/30/2020 after taking the Covid test ,I have being having severe headaches and it still happening, To make the story short I had brain surgery 2 times. I have a stent in my brains and all this happend , I have no quality of life , when she did the test she told me not hold her hands I see why she jammed that Qtip has far as she could , Sad Sad Sad
Everyone was, as always kind and efficient. My family and I especially appreciate Stephanie. She is always friendly, reassuring, and exceptionally professional. Thank you to all of your staff.
Such a wonderful place! The level of professionalism and caring is amazing. I was worried about a health issue and at the time did not have a primary care provider and I am so happy they helped me out. Wonderful!
I fainted on the train and was taken there by a very helpful young lady(wish I’d taken her name and info but I was very much out of it).The place was very clean and both ladies that I dealt were very professional and kind. The took the necessary tests and did the follow up call as they said they would.I would recommend this place highly.
The PA and nurses are all top notch. I always feel well cared for and listened to. It’s the only place I go if I need quality medical care including covid testing.
I was able to get a COVID test very quickly. The staff were friendly and efficient and I felt like I received a high degree of care.
PA was very professional and called me with results. Also short wait and nice facilities And quick turnaround on Covid antigen test.
The staff are courteous and the wait time is pretty short. Very knowledgeable and professional. I appreciated the follow up call. I would definitely visit again.
I have been coming here multiple times and they are absolutely wonderful. Great team they have here, and they make me feel very welcome every time I show up. Very efficient, professional, and I trust they know what they’re doing.
I made an appointment in advance (keep trying if theres no availability, things open up!) My appointment was on time, the staff really great, fast test results, too! Highly recommended.
So impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness, and high quality of Covid testing and other tests. Very modern facility. Lucky to have you in the Park Slope neighborhood! Thank you!
Terrific doctors cured a bad infection that another doctor had treated with the wrong antibiotics. They did a quick surgery, gave clear instructions on care and followed up to make sure it’s healing properly.
I was in and out! Staff was ultra professional, the admin explained clearly my payment options and Alex the PA was awesome!
Great care and friendly. The the visit was fast and taken care of very thorough and efficiently. No long wait like at some other urgent care offices.
Great experience from start to finish. Friendly staff and the place was very clean. The PA Stefanie who took care of us was amazing! Definitely recommend if you are not feeling well and are in the area.
Excellent service, the staff are friendly and professional. I was very pleased with the overall service I received. I would highly recommended this urgent care facility and I will definitely revisit it.
Great pleasant staff. No frustrating wait. Dr was absolutely professional and down to earth. U have an emergency or just need a Dr - its the place to go.
The whole personal at this location was very professional and friendly .
Stephanie was very caring, thorough, knowledgeable, and skilled. She’s also very easy to talk to. I am confident she will always take good care of me.
Super easeful, fast, clean and kind
I appreciated not having to wait in a crowded waiting room, and everyone was very nice and professional. And we got our COVID-19 test results quickly! Thanks!
I was able to be seen for a walk in appointment without waiting long at all. Everyone I saw was friendly, helpful and efficient. I would definitely go back. Thanks everyone. A good experience!
Great experience! Zero wait time. Dr. Nichele Nivens and the staff were great. Dr. Nivens took her time to explain everything to me and gave me great advice! She even gave me two hand sanitizers and walked me out.
The staff was pleasant and professional. I did not have to wait long for my results.
They need to train their staff when dealing with ant physical area of a hunan being. This girl push the swab up my nose like there is nothing delicate up in there, cause my nose to bleed and still hurt.I will like to push it in her nose the same way jus for her to acknowledge
I rarely take the time to leave reviews but in this case I made an exception. They were so kind and took the time to make sure I understand the process. Highly recommended.
Amazing facility clean and state of the art. Quick front desk service and the staff at the front desk was extremely nice and capable however the physician assistant did her best for my situation.
Amazing quality of service. Practical wait time and advisement. Non judgmental. I was relieved after leaving the urgent care center
I had the best experience getting my covid test done here, from the moment I checked in to when I got the results - they were so nice and it was pretty quick! Thank you!
Professional, experienced, compassionate and dedicated.
Easy, professional & successful outcome.
I had originally posted that this place was great. Now I’m changing that since I feel like this place didn’t give me the proper information.I had called before visiting and was told that they take my insurance and I wouldn’t have a copay. Now I’ve gotten a letter in the mail from them saying I owe them a copay. I’m not sure why I was told conflicting information but I’m not planning to go back here.
The doctors and staff are triple a plus light years ahead from city MD and other clinics weve visited. Caring nurturing and professional and not to mention funny.
You have to refresh a few times and check back for appointments but once there, it was VERY quick for a Covid-19 rapid test. Clean center and very organized.
This place always have a staff that works on a professional level. Once you enter in through the front door theres someone to greet you always professional and courteous.
Very nice, clean facility! Staff was courteous and professional! Wonderful experience! It was thorough and quick!!
We had a great visit my young daughter and so easy. The team was polite and kind. In and out in about 45 min.
I made an appointment to get a Covid test and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Everyone was friendly and the process was straightforward.
Excellent customer service, very empathetic from the young lady working at the front desk, to the medical assistant, to the PA. Also, its great to see a diverse staff!!!!
Immediately seen by medical professional. PA was quite skilled at her practice. Office was neat, clean, and hospitable for patient’s requiring medical attention.
Excellent and professional care from all the attending staff. Clean comfortable environment. I highly recommend this establishment to all that feel they need urgent care!!!!
I love this place. And the staff are so professional. I didnt wait more than 20 minutes. Wow
Had appointment. Arrived 15 minutes early. In almost immediately. Efficient and friendly. All went wellNo issues.
The quickest most efficient and absolutely nicest experience I have ever had at any urgent care facility! Everyone was great!!!!!
Terrific! I was attended to right away & given excellent care. Professional staff, Immaculate facility and good location.
Beautiful facility, ...Excellent Care,. I saw Dr Fadel. She explained in detail my inner ear problem, causes and treatment. Very relieved, Thank you.
Fast. Efficient. Friendly. Got a walk-in test during the height of COVID (10 minute wait) and results back in an hour. Will go back.
Couldn’t get my test results and no one cared to find out why. Obviously it’s a clerical problem. So I am without my test results even though you sent an email saying the test results are available on APP or website. So upsetting
Northwell provides excellent care .
I went in for an X-ray after falling hard on elbow. The fracture was confirmed. It was fast, efficient and professional.
Worst urgent care experience, diagnosed late and after I already healed myself. Will never go here again, such a waste of a copay
I went in for my PPD and Ms Talila was courteous and friendly. Dr. Ryan was pleasant and very helpful. I will definitely tell others about this site.
Patient, kind and caring staff. Talila is a breath of fresh air and Dr. Zipkin was thorough and gave me excellent instructions.
I love this place. The receptionist is fabulous, the doctors are caring , knowledgeable and professional. Its great to have this clinic in the neighborhood. Thank you
Made an appointment online for a CoViD test. Was in and out really quickly. Easy place if you need a test.
Good experience with customer service and doctor fast service and a clean place to get your flu vaccine etc
The receptionist is ABSOLUTELY delightful!!!I found Stefanie Fadel to be knowledgeable, and compassionate. An excellent bedside manner.
The whole staff was friendly and with quick and accurate service. With a clean facility. Its a shame that its only an urgent care.
My go to COVID testing locationVery nice staff and concerned health care giversIf you make your appointment for late in day , good chance you’ll breeze in and out
