I went here to get my procedure done as I had to fly from Florida. Everyone was so amazing, friendly, and made the environment so comfortable. There was no ounce of judgement at all from them. i cannot thank them enough for every single thing. For me the wait was not that long. I would recommend this place so much. Thank you for taking such great care of me

Im putting this under a different name, for my privacy. But this place was phenomenal! From the time I walked in to the time I walked out. Yes, there is a bit of a wait, but hey what can you do about it. My appointment was at 920, I didnt leave until 215. But they do tell you that at the front desk. But ALL of these nurses and Dr there were literally heaven sent. They made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. I went to have my procedure done with no sedation, and Dr Wallace reassured me that if any time she need to stop let her know. The other nurse was in there, holding my hands the whole time 😭 and coaching me through my breathing. I was sooo scared going in, but everyone made the experience so much better.

I had a surgical procedure scheduled at this location yesterday. I had to drive 6 hours from out of state as my state’s PP could no longer assist me. There was a massive crowd of protesters outside but also so many nice ladies guiding us in and shielding us from them. Not gonna lie, the wait was long. My appointment was scheduled for 10am, and I didn’t leave until around 4. But honestly, I fully expected that wait since this location is one of a few in the entire south that’s still full service. So just keep that in mind.I was terrified, but was met with the kindest people at every turn giving me plenty of smiles and reassurance. They were very attentive and so caring, and they took the best care of me that I could have asked for. The procedure itself was super fast and completely painless (much to my surprise). And I think that’s totally because of the expertise and care of the doctor and nurses.The people that work here and do what they do are literal angels on earth, and they truthfully saved my life yesterday. I don’t know what I would have done if it wasn’t for them and my option to CHOOSE. I will forever be grateful and highly recommend to anyone seeking care.

I was seen here about 2 weeks ago, and Dr. Andrea found I was either having an early pregnancy miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Over the next few days I had some blood work done to look at my HCG levels. On Tues Sept 3rd I was seen at another location to get their thoughts and another HCG test done, as I was having bleeding but no pain. Sept 4th, I got call from Andrea in the morning expressing her concerns that I am having an ectopic pregnancy based on my results from the previous day and that I needed to go straight to the ER to be seen as it can be dangerous if it were to rupture my fallopian tube. I was on my way to work and went straight to the ER, they found blood in my stomach and signs that indicated it was going to rupture soon and needed to go into surgery that day. I give 5 stars to Andrea and the whole team at Chapel Hill as they were so kind to me while I was there and to Andrea for advising me to go straight to the ER that day, if she had not things would have turned out different, she even checked on me while I was at the ER as well as the day after to see how I was doing. So to her I am thankful.

10/10 experience. The wait was a little lengthy but that was expected as they tell you at the beginning of the appointment. Everyone was so nice and understanding. And walked you through every step!

Absolutely horrible service i dont recommend this place this supposed to be a safe place i had doctors all in my face i told them to get out my face the lady got in my face again and said “no im not getting out your face” and proceeded to be in my face . when i told them they was hurting me and i asked them to stop at that second they said no . but i was told if it hurts i could ask them to stop. anyways theyre not friendly at all i wont be going back there !

This facility is a God Send, after having a horrible experience at Preferred Womens Heath Center, instead of going back there in two weeks like they asked I came to Planned Parenthood. Complete different all the way around. First, the staff is knowledgeable! They are caring! They are gentle! The women that work here are legit angels! It was a wait but not bad, and it wasnt so crowded that you had no where to sit! And its super cleans! Congratulations to the Dr and staff! You are helping so many women.

A wonderful place full of beautiful and kind souls. The wait time is understandable— they have a lot on their plates as all the staff is continuosly on their feet. I was so scared and anxious when arriving but just now leaving, I feel relieved and at peace thanks to this planned parenthood’s staff. Thank you so much for all of your kindness and compassion throughout this difficult time. You guys were so sweet and gentle with everything and were extremely thorough in explaining everything. I hope that everyone at this location finds themselves forever in great health and happiness. Thank you all so much. You are the kindest people to roam this earth and your services and hearts are tremendously appreciated.

Went here for a wellness exam and had an amazing experience from start to finish. I’m not a fan of going to the doctor and have been especially scared of visiting any kind of clinical setting during the pandemic; however, planned parenthood did amazing job making feel safe and comfortable on site. The clinicians and staff were incredibly kind and great about answering all of my questions. It was easy getting scheduled online and, once there, I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time, which is great because I hate sitting in waiting rooms. Very appreciative of everyone for making me feel at ease. I will definitely be returning for my annual visits. Thank you guys for all that you do!!!

The staff are truly kind and care. I am giving a one-star review because I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for 9:50 on Aug 4,2021 and arrived at 9:30 to check in after a two hour drive there. I waited almost forty minutes and then they had me wait in the car because there were so many people. I did not get in to see any care provider until almost 11. I was in and out of exam rooms and waiting rooms and didnt get to complete my purpose of being there until around 3. The clinic was closed while I was in recovery and I did not leave until 3:30. Do not go to this location unless you have a day to waste. It is not their fault they are understaffed but they could definitely book to fit their staffing. It was the most irritating day in a while and I couldnt leave because I needed care.

Loved every staff member and doctor! Everyone was so attentive, supportive, informative, compromising and extremely caring. As someone coming from out of town I did not know what to expect. But I loved and appreciated the awesome experience they provided for me the past 2 days! Thank you guys so much!!!! The environment was also very calm and quiet which I loved as well!

Why do they allow patients family or friends to be in the waiting room. I understand for support or a ride but they should have to wait in their car and called when needed. I found it very uncomfortable when I came in for my appointment and had no where to sit while I filled out my form. As well as men in the waiting room? one of which was watching videos on his phone with the volume turned up. I don’t understand how this is not policy. I’ve been to Charlotte location and they do not allow you to have visitors in the waiting room.

The staff is okay when you are seen in person for a procedure, not very compassionate or personable in my opinion which makes things even more awkward and uncomfortable. However, once you leave they could care less about after care. It’s like their job is to provide service and get you out, doesn’t matter what happens afterwards. It’s been almost a month since my procedure and I still feel terrible. I’ve tried calling multiple times and they just tell me “it’s normal” and to wait until it’s been a full month to be seen again. Even though I was told at the clinic multiple times by multiple different people that I should feel back to normal and pregnancy symptoms should start to go away by a week afterwards. To me it’s just not normal and it’s not okay how they treat you as if you’re just another patient and they don’t really care.

The staff is so kind and considerate! I showed up early for my appointment and they got me in as soon as they could! I didn’t wait long at all. Thank you for safely changing out my nexplanon! 10/10 recommend :)

Staff is extremely helpful and passionate about their job. However My appointment was at 8:50 am & it’s currently 3:15 pm and I still haven’t begun my procedure! Make sure you have a free full day if you are coming to the Chapel Hill office very slow !

Ive only ever been to one other Planned Parenthood, but this location blew the other out of the water. Be prepared to spend all day here if youre going for anything other than a prescription refill, but I think thats kind of to be expected. The staff and doctor were all very kind and informative, they really make you feel like youre cared about.I went alone for my appointment, tout they made sure to have a person in the room to hold my hand. I went way out of my way to come to this location, but should I need to visit again I will be going back here.

Went for an iud birth control procedure insertion and it was a pleasant experience for me , the staff was phenomenal!!! I definitely recommend anyone to visit this clinic.

I wondered why the reviews of this place werent that great and I was even hesitant to come here. However, I have to say that I had a positive experience and am super grateful they were there for me. Ive come to the conclusion that most people with mostly good experiences are probably not as likely to review as those with a. truly negative experiences (uncommon) and b. those who have entitled mindsets and dont take into consideration that this type of place cant move as quickly as a fast food drive through (as most negative reviews indicate). While there is always room for improvement, we should be thankful that against the odds, this place exists to offer novel care to women.

The nurses were so nice and personable with me during my appointment, they provided anxiety medication for my procedure and the recovery room had blankets heating pads drinks and snacks for afterwards to make me feel better. better nurses and doctors i’ve met than at any other health facility i’ve been to!

When they say you might be here 4 to 6 hours you better bring snacks, a pillow, a jacket, and a charger. They will take your information and vitals quickly but then you wait forever to actually get your procedure done. I have been here since 10:30. They closed at 3 and it is 3:50 now. They only have one provider and I have to come back tomorrow since Im having a 2 day procedure. You have been warned.... go somewhere else.

I had a very pleasant time going in for IUD removal, while Ive found that other providers have brushed off my pain or concerns I felt like I was actually listened to here. It can be tough to get an appointment and be seen on time but there are times that are less busy that you can shoot for. Otherwise, I still count this as an amazing service. Especially in an area that I would imagine has a VERY high volume of people seeking reproductive healthcare.

Editing my first review. No one would answer when I called to reschedule. But the establishment itself is great. I was in and out in under 2 hrs and the staff was very kind and accommodating.

Front desk staff professional Med tech prompt provider friendly and listened. Great experience so far. 2023: Update: tech in back attentive and courteous provider likewise.

This place is amazing! I received a free iud and everyone was so nice. There are protesters but they arent near the entrance. To counter them there are planned parenthood volunteers waiting to greet you outside the door.

Seems like everyone has this problem: didn’t get to the doctor on the time of the appointment. So WTH is your appointment mean if we can get treated by the time of the appointment?They rescheduled my appointment since the nurse was not there. After I came by the other day, they asked me to filled out the same forms I did last time. Then where the hell did y’all put the previous forms to?Way worse than I came 4 years ago.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Takes over an hour to talk to the doctor for even a simple prescription filling. Also you give them your credit card information and they charge you but after couple of weeks you receive another bill which just makes things more difficult.

This was the worst location I have ever been to. My apt was at 3:20 didnt get called back until 5:30. Everyone got called back 2 hours late for there apt. Whats the point of an apt if you dont get attended at that time? Also they had me in the room they process urine samples in. Which by the way they mixed up some of them. My visit was for a simple depo shot. Which does require a pregnancy test. Lady said ah, she aint pregnant and tried to give me the shot, without taking the pregnancy test. Then another lady walked into the room with a blood sample on a glass. Doesnt seem safe to me. Never agian.

My child was not given a doctors note so she could return to school and work . 2 weeks passed and we were still begging them to send a doctors not. Finally they proclaimed they had finally mailed it 10 days after it had been requested. Then they informed me that they could not send the note to my daughters PRIVATE email, but they were glad to send it to the schools PUBLIC fax machine. Absolutely no regard for her well being once she left that clinic.

I felt extremely comfortable and taken care of. Everyone is so nice here

The check in and wait is longer than the actual procedure. I would not recommend this place you will sit in pain off the antibiotics they feed you while you wait for your actual pain meds that they don’t give you until the procedure.

I came to have my birth control implant removed and had an amazing experience. Everyone was polite and professional, and the nurse-midwife removed my implant swiftly and painlessly.

They were awesome from the receptionist to the nurses and Doctor just an all around amazing staff friendly and very caring! I was comfortable speaking to them about what was going on with me! A judgement free zone! Very clean too!

Got my Nexplanon (implant) here two years ago. Everyone was very nice, the procedure was quick, and I appreciate that I was able to try a new (more effective) method of birth control due to their sliding scale of payment.

The staff is nice and they truly care about you. They have excellent customer service and they always keep the building super clean. I’ve been here multiple times and I highly recommend coming here!

Ive been trying to schedule here for a MONTH AND A Half and It is the hardest to get an appointment. I have spoken with some friendly but A WHOLE month and a half is crazy.

Highly don’t recommend been sitting in the waiting room since 9:20Am here it is going on 2:00pm very annoyed that I haven’t been seen yet I mean really what’s the point of even having an appt should have just did a damn walk in I don’t like this at all

I have seen the ambulance at this place several times within the past year…I would not trust this “health care facility” where women are consistently being rushed off in an ambulance to receive actual medical care in order to fix whatever continues to go wrong here :(

I had called this office, set an appointment, drove 100miles just to be told they didnt provide the services they set my appointment for.... how did they not know when its supposed to be their policy??? Waste of time and money, very disappointed with this center normally very impressed with oh.....

Make sure you dont have to work, or have anything planned for the day. You will sit here ALLLLLLLL day in the waiting room. Go to A Womens Choice in Greensboro. Litterally took me an hour to get checked in and be done.

Usually great but setting up an appointment is very difficult... I called over a week ago and was told Id be put on the urgent call list (receive a call about an appointment next day or next two days) never got that call.

I had my copper IUD implanted here and the ladies were an absolute dream. I highly recommend this location to anyone.

Appointment was at 9 AM. 12 PM and I still have not been seen. Not to mention they never answer the phones

I did my vasectomy here, 7 years ago.,no fear, no pain at all ,the cyrgury take 30 minutes Thank you doctor

The ladies at this location are so nice and understanding. The were open to answer any questions or concerns. I recommend this location if you are in need of their services.

Got to our appointment early, but weren’t seen until about an hour and 10min after that. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if you don’t actually get seen around that time (Or at least close to it)?
