Came in for an appointment and was waiting quite a long time (which I understand, but they didn’t seem to be super busy.) Lady at the front desk told me my insurance wasn’t working and I’m not sure why since it’s worked in the past and is active. When I asked her to explain it, she sounded condescending and told me my only choice was to pay $300. All I needed was a Covid test so I walked out. I’ve been here in the past and have had no issues but I would recommend going elsewhere in the future.
Every single time I’ve come here I’ve had a bad experience. There have been multiple times where I’ve waited for almost an hour even though I had pre-booked my appointment for a specific time. Just this past time I had pain in my foot only for the nurse practitioner (Robyn Powers) to tell me to just ice it. Not once did she take a look at my foot or asses it. I’ve never felt more dismissed at this clinic than any other clinic and reviewing the other comments that people have left it seems like this is a reoccurring problem at this clinic. I would not recommend coming here unless you want to waste your time.
Broke a bone. Doc was so special. I love her. Visit was lively and fun. Besides the very informative discussion about my bone break and the follow-up care recommendation, we also talked about raising chickens, a subject we both enjoyed. Frankly, it took my mind off my pain and on to normal interests. I walked out on crutches with a smile on my face. Thank you to the whole bunch!
It is currently 7:40pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024. The young man on the phone just told me they arent accepting walk-ins at this time as my wife and kid were on their way in. Perhaps they can update their hours to reflect the actual times they are open. Or discipline their employees who lie because they dont want to work.
I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and was able to make an appointment later that day. The staff were warm and friendly. I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes after my appointment time, but likely because this place is one of the only urgent cares open after 4pm on a Saturday in Columbia!
Went in with my 12 year old granddaughter, 30 minutes before closing. Everyone was exceptionally nice and professional. Never did they make us feel rushed or uncomfortable. Even with the stalling computer system, everyone kept their composure. Quality care given and we went home well informed and medical issue handled accordingly. I will definitely use their services again.
I RECOMMEND GOING HERE AND ONLY GOING HERE!!! This place FAR EXCEEDED any expectations I had for an urgent care. Awesome and INCREDIBLY nice staff. The people there seemed to genuinely CARE about identifying and solving my problem rather than just doing the bare minimum for my money, as many other medical centers tend to do. Prices were insanely reasonable, they seem to accept a great load of insurances, and as a cherry on top, they are REALLY UPFRONT ABOUT COSTS. Normally medical centers dont give you any pricing information until AFTER the work is done, then hand you a MASSIVE bill for the bare minimum. This place did not. The receptionist ran my insurance through while I was sitting in the waiting room before my appointment (without me having asked him to) then let me know while I was waiting the EXACT PERCENTAGE MY INSURANCE WILL COVER versus what I will have to pay, then gave me an estimate of the maximum amount he expected I might have to cover (again, WITHOUT ME EVEN HAVING ASKED). His predicted maximum was already cheaper than I expected, but my out of pocket cost wound up being almost HALF of that prediction. I will only be going to this urgent care for as long as I live in Columbia. They treated my problem very well and my wallet hardly has a dent.
All three staff that I interacted with were wonderful. The receptionist offered to get me a glass of water when I was coughing, the nurse assistant was friendly, made me relax and was so positive. The doctor didn’t rush, explained information and was most informative. Great experience!
First had to wait an hour in the waiting room even though I had an appointment, not a big deal. Then when I told them I was self pay, they quickly told me it would be 350 for the office visit alone. I asked why, since it clearly stated it was 250 on the website. They checked and confirmed that I was correct. But would not honor the price, saying the price had recently changed (4 months ago) and not updated on the website. So I didn’t argue as I was in excruciating pain. The doctor who saw me (Dr. Robyn Powers) was insanely rude. After reading other reviews I see now that everyone has complained about her and she still hasn’t been fired. I told her my symptoms, and she said I can’t do anything for you? You need to go to the ER? as if I was stupid for even coming. The appointment lasted about 2min. As I was leaving I just wanted to make sure I didn’t owe any additional money for the useless help that I received. Since there was nobody at the desk, I tried to get one of the nurses attention about 10 feet away. But she wouldn’t even come to the desk. She just kept trying to ignore me and talk to her coworker. Eventually she just waved me out the door with the most disrespectful hand gesture and smirk and said “go!”. I thought this has to be some kind of joke right? Worst place Iv ever been, totally incompetent and rude workers who don’t deserve to have a job in healthcare. Anyway I proceeded to go to boone hospital and required same day surgery. Every nurse and doctor I encountered were so nice and considerate it was amazing. Please for the love of everything good do not ever visit this nextcare urgent care. If they even decided to do their job and try to help you, I can’t imagine how bad the treatment would be with the level of incompetence in their employees it could be dangerous.
Long wait, about two hours on a Saturday afternoon, but they were able to help my 2 year old son get X-rays after a glass coffee table fell on his toe. You can make an appointment online ahead of coming in to help with the wait time.
I came in with extreme eye pain. All the staff was exceptional! The front desk was very kind and helpful. The DR was amazing, he really tookt the time to make sure I was taken care of and explained what I needed to do for aftercare.
Well the appointment was at 11 my coworker was at 10:45. As of 12:42 we are still waiting. Wouldn’t be too bad if we were not here for DOT drug screens. We need to urinate to the point of feeling sick with pain. When I spoke to the front desk she had to find us and then said ooooh! We are still waiting. I guess it’s due to being short staffed. But maybe don’t make, as one of your clients a major trucking company and set yourself up to do their DOT testing if you can’t get them back to relieve themselves in a timely manner. This is unhealthy and cruel. After finally calling us back it took an hour due the their inability to find the correct forms. They had to redo both of ours. All night and today my kidney hurts. I had to hold my urine for way too long.
It was unfortunate I had to visit an urgent care but overall it was a good experience. I had visited this one several years ago and felt they did an excellent job, so I decided to return to this specific location. Their customer service was great as was the medical care.
This place has gone down hill. I had an appointment at 1:15 didnt get taken back to be seen till 2:30. My nurse who was the only good part of my visit I could hear asking to take lunch and being told no which is wrong as medical professionals they should know how important eating is. And finally we get to the doctor, I have never had a worse doctor in my life. Its like she was obsessed with finding an STI no matter how much I told her it wasnt. Well surprise it wasnt an STI and I almost lost my relationship because this woman wouldnt listen and wasted money on a medice I didnt need. I will never come back to this trash hole of an urgent care.
I had nurse practitioner Robyn Powers. She was very rude and made me feel like I didn’t need to be there. I understand wanting patients in and out but I was in pain. She also yelled at me for forgetting my mask the second time she came him when I had asked for a Covid test, but then refused to give it to me cause I wasn’t sick enough.
Knowing my son didnt have insurance, they took his pre-payment and saw him. He was told that payment would cover the visit. He was not made aware of any additional charges that may occur. He went in for a sore throat and fever. Apparently they then ran four different labs and neglected to tell him he would later be billed $600 just to find out if he had strep throat or not. If he would have been told that, he would have left and went elsewhere or refused the labs and went with the prescription and shot he was given to see if that worked first, SINCE they told him that was probably all he needed and labs were a precaution incase another antibiotic needed to be prescribed. SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THAT??? He has called FOUR times now to find out the results of those labs and has been on hold for over 40 minutes and cannot get through to get his results or a call back. So the lab wants him to pay $600 yet he still hasnt gotten the results??? I have tried to call about the bill, again automatically put on hold until I have to hang up to get back to work and STILL no results. Id highly recommend going elsewhere.
Woke up not feeling well. Made an appointment first thing in the morning for 1pm. Arrived 20 minutes early and waited over an hour to get called back. Initial nurse was awesome, friendly and seemed genuinely concerned. The nurse practitioner came into the room to tell me I tested positive for Covid. She didn’t have a mask on yet completely lost her cool when I coughed. Yelling how now the room would have to be shut down for two and a half hours because I sprayed COVID all over. She was very unprofessional and didn’t even tell me what I could take to feel better or when I should go back to work. I won’t be back to this clinic.
Easy check in process, friendly providers. I had to wait an Hour and a half which is longer than what they post as their average wait time of 1 hour though. Good care
Very professional outstanding staff extremely clean. Was able to get in very quickly I had a upper respiratory infection they knew exactly what to do. I highly recommend that you use Providence Urgent Care. They are really good at what they do. The entire visit was 30 minutes beginning to end.
I was a walk-in for my DOT physical. While I didnt mind the wait, I knew its all part of the business.Once I got called back for my physical, the staff had such an amazingly positive sense of humor and was very professional at the same time.
The nurse was very professional and kind she made me feel like I was in the right place. The doctor was nice and helpful he got it right on the first try . If I need help again without going to the ER this is the place and I loved the online check in and wait was short I was seen on time. Great place to get help if you dont feel well.
After filling out the initial forms the experience moved along pretty quickly and smoothly. I was impressed with the staff, friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely concerned. Will definitely be my first choice when needed.
Staff stayed late (about 25 minutes after closing hours) to make sure our 6 year old was taken care of. The nurse practitioner, Cary, was very thorough. I’ve never been to an urgent care where I’ve been truly impressed until now! Thanks for all you do.
Walked in with a sore throat and fever and was able to be seen in less than 30mins. I was in and out within the hour. I love that they have an app that shows your wait in real time. It shows how many are in front of you and allows you to schedule future apts. There was no paperwork hassle either, it was all on the app! Cary was such an attentive and friendly provider. Would definitely recommend!!
My visit was wonderful. It can be stressful taking young kids to a clinic like this, but the staff was so friendly and kind. We were seen quickly and the doctor was great with my 4 year old.
Today I was seen by very courteous and professional staff. From checking in, through weighing in, to the assessment. Each person was warm and professional. Very pleased.
The nurse practitioner was very attentive to my needs and the entire process from start to finish was less than 25 to 30 minutes. I had a severely infected ear and ruptured eardrum and was prescribed antibiotics and other medications to be called in for the evening.
Very good. Quick, identified the problem and went right to work. Sent me home quickly with instructions and my prescription already called in. I have used this clinic twice and would use them again.
This was a horrible experience and I will never use the facility again in my lifetime. It was incredibly slow and resulted in a waste of my time. I will refuse service from the provider any time in the future. I sensed no real care about my health and well being by the nurse practioner, only a megalomania of control after seeing too many patients in a day.
We had an appointment at 3:00 pm and was seen at 4:45. Service was great once they got to us. You need a practice manager which I happen to be one. Gary Miller
Thought I had bug bites that kept leaking and bubbling up. Even though I kept the wounds clean. So I headed to urgent care. Mind you that it was very close to closing time. I was seen right away. Technician Krystal P brought me to the room I was to be seen in. But when the NP Robyn Powers seen me. She stayed across the room and hardly looked at my wounds and was short with words with me. Then I was given my discharge papers and was told were I could pick up my medication from. told me goodnight and were the exit was. I walked out and realized were they would send me medicine was closed for the night and knocked on the door because they locked the doors behind me. The front receptionist opened the door and I informed her that I needed the medication to be sent elsewhere and was polite about it. She went to talk to the either Robyn Powers or Krystal P that had seen me. And I heard a sigh very loudly and heard “No, I’ve already logged out and not going to sign back in. He can wait till the morning to get his medication.” I drove across town to get medical help and felt unwanted in a medical building trying to be treated. I don’t recommend this place.
Wow. Talk about professionals. Came in with an issue that I have had for a week. Team is like well we need to just take care of that today then don’t we. All was taken care of today . Thanks so very much.
I called before to make sure it wasn’t going to be a waste of time. They said they could test for allergies. Got there. Waited and they couldn’t. RN didn’t seem to care and sent me on my way with no resolutions.
Everyone I interacted with was so kind, and very professional. I have not been taking care of my chronic asthma, and everyone jumped to help me get relief. They also encouraged me to go see a PCP so it wont flare up like this again. That was so nice, and I felt very taken care of.
I visited this health care clinic yesterday.. I voiced my concerns about pain from front to back, lower left part of side, below rib cage area around pelvic area and tick bites from a cleaning job. No tests were administered, nothing at all.. The pain became unbearable in which I decided to visit the MU E.R., to get an observation, and second opinion, only to discover that I have a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst on my left ovary. 🤷♀️Yesterday was my first and last time that I will go to this clinic for any medical needs.Might I suggest that a physician leaning on the wall inside the room, asking questions, is not professional by no means, nor can one diagnose a condition by mere questions. Please train your physician to do better as some incidents are life threatening pertaining to medical symptoms. For this reason, I do not recommend this Health Care Clinic!
Our visit to urgent care for an ear infection for my son couldnt have went smoother! Robyn Powers was the NP on staff and she made our experience top notch!
Received great care and treatment but was told to watch out for developing symptoms and go straight to ER if that happened. Those aftercare instructions saved my life! I ended up in hospital, but already had 2 days of antibiotics before going to the hospital. Would have been disastrous if I had waited to follow up with my usual health provider. Was seen quickly at NextCare thanks to their online appointment system. Friendly caring staff.
Great experience at this location! Melissa and Zairam were both so kind and just truly AWESOME! They made it go by quickly and easily. Thank you!!!
Made an Appointment, arrived early checked in got into the appointment early, got checked out and got My Prescriptions , The Staff was Super Friendly and Helpful and I will Continue to do Business There . 😊
They took great care of me, and got me in and out exceptionally fast! Best urgent care I’ve been to in the Columbia area.
I will preference this review by saying I am not somebody that goes to the dr unless it feels like a last resort. I suffer from spring seasonal allergies and about every other year it ends up going into a bad sinus infection that I suffer with until I take an antibiotic. When I explained this to the staff yesterday I was told up front by the dr that she would not be giving me a script for the antibiotics I was requesting because she thought it was viral possibly Covid and would have to run its course. I explained that this is a strong history with me at the end of March when my allergies have been active for 2-3 weeks and antibiotics are always required to allow me to beat the infection. I said I know my body this is an infection and not viral an antibiotic will clear this up. All the home remedies I try never completely clear it up. I was told she had 20 years of experience and knew better. When I questioned how she had come to that conclusion she agreed to prescribe the antibiotics but that it would be 7 days before I could pick them up. When I recommended testing her theory and giving me the prescription today if I took a Covid test and it was negative she said I would still need to wait 7 days even if the test came back negative. So basically I am stuck going to see somebody else and spending another $150 copay or suffering another 7 days to get the medication I need.It seemed less like an informed medical opinion and more like she was going to show me she knew best. The fact that she did write the prescription for the end of the week lets me know she is aware that it could be an infection. That it doesn’t bother her I will be sick with this all week is why I will not be seeking any more care from this provider.
The entire staff was very professional, empathetic and prompt with their services! A special thank you to our nurse Tonia who quickly recognize that my father needed to go to the hospital immediately. She did not waste any time and quickly got the care that he needed. God bless this staff.
The doctor and nurse on duty at the time of my visit were simply amazing. I had a severe laceration on my knee from a chainsaw accident which was complicated from the blood thinner medication I am on. The doctor stitched my wounds up with no discomfort at all and it looked amazing.
There is not an option for zero stars so...TOTAL CLUSTERF*CK. Completely unbridled incompetency. Went in for x-rays. Was checked-in, of course gave copay, then told (by FNP-no doctor here) I cant have my kind of x-rays done. Had scheduled appointment for possible fractured pelvis. FNP tells me the tech is not competent to do what is needed. Why did you check me in? Immediately starts trying to get me out the door. Gives me some papers tells me to get x-rays done elsewhere. Go to hospital, x-rays sent back to FNP. FNP claims I am not his responsibility and calls hospital fraudulent for taking x-rays based on paperwork he sent me with. Now x-rays werent done correctly. Whole day a waste and STILL NO ANSWERS...but I get to pay for it IN SO MANY WAYS. Have to go somewhere else and pay for everything to be re-seen and x-rays to be re-done. DONT GO HERE!!!I received two phone calls from someone who claimed to be intent on resolving my issue. Offered a refund and advised me to call back if I didnt see it in my account within a week. As of 3/29 staff at location act as if they have no idea what Im taking about and no refund.
Cary at Urgent Care made me feel comfortable and took great care of me. I was reticent about going but I’m so glad I did. Travis at the front desk was also very friendly and welcoming.
Yesterday, February 27th, my mother and I visited this location. My mother, a diabetic, is more susceptible to severe complications when ill. Upon arrival, we were instructed to schedule an appointment, which we promptly did. However, the appointed time was 2 to 2 and a half hours after our initial arrival. This was disconcerting as my mother could have been experiencing Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). Approximately an hour later, we returned for check-in and encountered a delay. Three staff members were present at the front desk; one was engaged in a personal phone call, and the other two were engaged in conversation. We waited for five minutes before we were attended to.When we left, my mother informed me of her experience in the back. Initially, she was not provided with the necessary paperwork, which the doctor had requested. Additionally, the restroom toilet was filled to capacity with paper towels. A nurse informed her that her blood sugar levels were elevated and that she needed a finger prick. However, my mother has a sensor on her arm that monitors her blood sugar levels, which she showed to the nurse. The nurse disregarded the sensors readings, instead opting to rely on the urine test, which revealed elevated levels. This discrepancy led me to question the reliability of their urine testing methodology. Furthermore, the doctor appeared to lack knowledge of diabetes and the essential information required for diabetic patients. Ultimately, the examination yielded no diagnosis despite my mother having experienced six days of persistent vomiting.Subsequently, my mother went to the pharmacy to collect the prescribed nausea medication. She was advised to visit another urgent care facility. Overall, the visit was incredibly stressful and challenging. The hygiene standards and patient care were subpar. Had it not been for the nearby coffee shop, the experience would have been thoroughly unpleasant. (The hour we spent waiting, I got a drink while she rested.)
Very efficient. Short wait time and all the staff was friendly and helpful. Saw the nurse practitioner that quickly saw the problem with my infant and after 24 hrs on the meds she is doing much better.
Staff was polite and very professional. Everything was explained thoroughly and the wait time was quick.
They litteraly shut me in a room and forgot me for almost and hour, they had come back from lunch, and were just chatting by the time i realised they had forgotten me in the room.
I had a great experience at NextCare!! Everyone there was sooo nice, from the girl at the front desk and the nurse and nurse practitioner!!! I am definitely going back!!!
Nurses and doctors were excellent, seem to wait longer than needed but otherwise great service!!
HORRIBLE! I went in for an ear infection, and waited for an hour after getting into the room. After the nurse got done checking my ears she told me she would send someone in to irrigate my ears. They were out of parts for the irrigation system so she ended up coming back in and tried to scrape out the wax in my infected ear(I was crying from how painful it was and she just kept going) She ended up rupturing my ear drum and I left in more pain than when I came in. I was given Tylenol and rushed out of the room. The front desk lady was super nice though.
Yesterday 5/29 was very good the whole staff there was very helpful and nice I would recommend this Facility to my friends and family very awesome care
Extremely nice people who took the time to listen and really cared. Very clean. A great place to go.
Every single member of the staff has had an apparently long and bad day (it’s 10am…) it seems everyone hated their job, and the patients. I explicitly asked to not be tested for Covid and then had a qtip jammed up my nose, because “without the test I would be forced to quarantine for a week by assuming it’s positive”… it was negative. NP had a foul attitude and very aggressively believed that whatever came out of her mouth was 1000% true. Overall very rude and no one seems to care at all, I waited an hour to be called but there were more people there that continued to wait for 2 hours.Pick literally ANY other urgent care.
Nice way to spend 140 dollars for them to tell you they cant do anything and you should wait it out. Doctor didnt even do a single test. At one point had the nerve to ask me you look like you were expecting someting. Go somewhere else and hopefully you get a doctor who tells you literally anything about why you walked in.
Arrived just before 8:00 a.m. (7:50) on a Saturday morning. There was already 1 or 2 other patients there. According to their advertisements inside their building they are supposed to see 4 patients an hour on average. I filled out the appropriate paperwork to be seen as quickly as possible. However, another walk-in patient arrived before me and was seen before me. At 9:20 a.m. I was still not seen by a nurse or doctor. They offered no explanation to the delay prior to my departure. They did however refund my copay amount but that wont be available for 3-5 business days. If I could give it a 0 star rating, I would.
I had a great experience there, the staff was very nice and understanding. My nurse practitioner, Cary, was awesome! I’ve been dealing with full body itchiness for a very long time and I don’t know Cary was the first to care, and he gave me more steriod cream. Thank you Cary you are awesome the cream is working good 👍
Care was good and attentive but I was sorry to have to wait an hour after having made an appointment
I called this facility to inquire about their ability to treat seed ticks, only to be told I’d need to pay for an appointment before getting any information, even just a yes or no. This struck me as unreasonable—especially when I called Columbia Urgent Care and received an immediate, helpful answer from the receptionist who put me on hold and went an asked a physician. It’s disappointing to see a healthcare facility prioritize revenue over basic patient care. If you’re looking for upfront, honest service, I’d recommend skipping this place in favor of Columbia Urgent Care. This place has so many good reviews, I really expected better.
Wait times were kinda long but all staff was incredibly kind and friendly! Once I saw the provider I was out quick with what I needed, just a bit of a long wait to get there.
Super quick and convenient. All of their paperwork is automated/can be done on your phone so I was in and out in about 1/2 the time. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is they cost twice as much as my usual GP. Unlike my usual GP though Im able to see them w/o having to schedule 2 weeks in advance. Seriously, whos planning to be sick 2 weeks ahead of time?
Nurse insulted me when I asked for something stronger than ibuprofen for a dislocated disc in neck. Accused me of trying to get narcotics from her and didn’t examine me. Don’t waste your time.
Great service, quick and easy. Appreciate it when I’m not feeling well
The staff here were so wonderful! I have been working to get answers for some time and they were genuine and attentive to how I was feeling. Nesha especially stood out to me. She was such a bright light and refreshing soul. She took the time to be very thorough and had me smiling and laughing the entire visit. Melissa, the provider, also made me comfortable and talked everything through me until we came up with a plan. Very thankful for them. The only negative today was even though they have a great online check-in system, I waited an hour in the waiting room to go back. But the care I received made it worth it.
These people are crooks. I paid in cash at my last visit and still received a bill. They also double charged me and overcharged me for a previous visit and somehow think they still deserve that money. Do not come here if youre paying out of pocket. Absolutely clueless and dont answer the phone when you call to settle the bill.
Everyone was so kind, very helpful, professional and I was gratefulYou dont see this kind of showing up and being there in our world today! It was such a nice experience.
Been meaning to post this for a while but I wanted to leave a good review for this staff and a special thanks to the clinic manager. She was so nice! I recently went in for some allergy issues back in November and had some billing questions I left a message for the clinic manager and she took the time to reach out and speak to me. She really seems to care about the patients they see and makes sure all their concerns are heard. She made me feel a lot better about my visit and I really appreciate that! She answered all my questions and went above and beyond what I expected really great service thank you again for your help!!
Checkin was fast; personnel were incredibly personable, easy to communicate with. My provider called and left a message with addl info he found! Thorough, thoughtful took time! Absolutely amazing in this modern era of being rushed in and out of MD offices .
It was really good very nice and professional I would highly recommend!
Very unprofessional NP who told me the pain I had from what felt like a UTI was in my head. I thankfully got into my ob/gyn who figured out what I had and treated me with the right antibiotics and the pain and symptoms left. This place is best for vaccinations and quick visits
Had a wonderful experience here with my daughter! The lady at the front desk, the nurse, and the doctor were all exceptional and went out of their way to make sure my daughter and I were comfortable during our wait. They kept us informed and kept checking in periodically to give us updates, which was very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend this clinic!
I absolutely love this place! They are quick and very professional. They treat you with such respect and talk to you about medication and after care so you know what to expect.
Very little wait time when I came..Staff was very efficient. Dr. was very knowledgeable and was able to prescribe meds that made me feel 90% better in less than 12 hours. Im very grateful!
Got in right away. They were able to give me information and referrals for next step in getting treatment.
While the nurse and the RPN were really great, the receptionist could have been a little polite. She had no empathy nor did she care to explain the process.
I made an appoint at 1:00pm because that was when I was available and I showed up early for my appointment to get paperwork done and was told that I would not be seen at one because there was 9 people in front of me and I’d have to wait a long time. I don’t understand how it could get that backed up to where I’d have to wait hours for my appointment I made in advance.
Overall my nurse practitioner, Adkisson had poor bedside manner. I went to get sutures removed that were just below my knee. The removal of my stitches was painful. The nurse mentioned to his assistant after removing the first stitch that the scissors he was using were ...doggy or not good. The assistant offered to grab a new pair but he said that it would be okay. Before removing the last of my stitches he rubbed the area where I was cut and it hurt. When I made it apparent that it hurt he did not seem to care and he didnt stop, and there was no reason to be rubbing the cut area other than I guess to show me that I needed to rub ointment on it after? It was just a weird disregard for the fact that I was in pain. After removing the last stitch he said Look at that, now you can shave there again!. As a woman, I found that inappropriate and disrespectful, especially after the disregard for my pain. And to my knowledge, suture removal is not supposed to hurt. Overall very weird experience, wouldnt go back, wouldnt want to be treated by that nurse again. I hope this is helpful to those considering their options.
People saying they’ve been seen quickly lucky for them waited 4 hours to be seen don’t know if they’re just understaff but hopefully it doesn’t have to be like this next time.
I waited nearly 2 hours to see the NP for approximately a total of 5 minutes. My reason for visit was eye irritation, yet no one stepped near my eye to look at it at all. They quickly diagnosed me with a cluster headache and told me to take ibuprofen until it magically went away. It only proceeded to get worse. I saw a primary care Dr took once glance at my eye and rushed me to an eye doctor, to which I have now seen three because I had an EYE IRRITATION. I had complete loss of vision in my eye for longer than a week and was in severe pain. I am facing permanent damage to my eye and vision due to the negligence of the staff. If they would have looked at my eye or referred me to somewhere, this could have been avoided. I have been out of work for two weeks and unable to drive. I will never enter this clinic again and will speak to my peers to do the same.
Would call and make sure the lady NP(s) are there if I ever have to go back there because my previous experiences weren’t this bad. My symptoms weren’t assessed properly I was tested for covid and had my freaking lungs listened to but I didn’t have covid symptoms. Not sure if NP felt uncomfortable assessing all of my symptoms because I was a woman and he was male but I showed him pictures of some of the symptoms that I explained would go away after my hygiene routine but come back pictures taken literally 30 min or less before I got to the office and was told he didn’t see that they should’ve gotten a sample to determine the severity of my symptoms as well but I was just prescribed antibiotics(who knows if my bacteria will even respond to them because no sample of it was taken) as a fellow HCP I’m very displeased with the service and I could hear them speaking about it like the doctor was hollering from the office to the triage lady yelling back from their station in the middle about what symptoms I reported. Just.. I pray I never need to go back there. Would’ve went to quick care but they didn’t have services listed for what I’m sure my diagnoses are. Got there 5 min after they opened and was there for about 2.5 hours some of that time was waiting on a Covid test I didn’t need
I mean when you dont have many options to begin with things would have to be pretty bad to rule one out. I set an appointment prior and wasnt actually seen until upwards of an hour after my designated time. When I finally was examined it seemed rushed taking less than 30 seconds to complete. After saying no to the sub 30 second test of surface pain for my swollen (assumed sprained) ankle I was told they didnt think it broken at all but asked if I wanted an x-ray. The short attention given didnt provide me any confidence and I already had no idea if what I assumed to be a sprained ankle was actually the case so I said yes.I got my x-ray and was shortly after told that I had no fracture likely had a sprain and was given care instructions for the following week and a pair of crutches. I had mentioned I might need a walking assist but wasnt sure earlier but was never informed of other options and of course I dont know anything about whats best or else I wouldnt have been there. I left and was charged $143 dollars for a total 2 hours spend waiting, cumulative 5 minutes of care, and crutches that it feels were given to me without offering me a wrap and maybe Tylenol which would have been more inexpensive. And that $143 was after insurance. The cost of the X-ray and crutches I likely didnt need are frustrating because I feel like I was pressured into accepting the x-ray because of the lack of attention and information I was shown and given. And the crutches that were apparently my sole option to help recovery.I have no doubt the people here know what theyre doing but whether or not they care about the people theyre seeing felt up in the air. I know Healthcare is a stressful environment and nobody can always be at 100% but its frustrating to go somewhere for help and leave feeling partially ignored and slightly taken advantage of.
I’ve been to this clinic quite a few times. The first few times were decent experiences. However my last two visits were the worst. The doctor that saw me last time I came in, didn’t even speak to me and handed me a prescription for something. She didn’t even tell me what I had! Then today I went in with an appointment, and was told that it would be a 2 HOUR wait for someone to see me. If your appointment isn’t going to be honored then they need to say that when you are booking, or at least tell you how long the wait is going to be when you walk in. It was a complete waste of my time! I understand they are busy due to flu season, but the front desk worker was extremely rude to me when I went up and asked how long the wait was going to be.
As a healthcare worker myself who understands the challenges of the field and has reasonable expectations, I would not recommend his urgent care. I also never leave reviews but after two back to back to back poor experiences from our household I felt it was warranted. The staff was cold and not welcoming. There was only one other person there when I visited (they had left about 15 minutes before I was even taken back to a room) yet my visit took over an hour including nearly 40 minutes in the waiting room. No one seemed in any hurry to provide prompt care. I could hear everyone loudly talking and socializing while I waited. The care we received was not thorough. The CNA who did the intake was extremely flat, not friendly and gave the impression she hates her job. The office screen for strep was negative even though I knew thats what I had (CNA didnt get a good swab) and got a call 5 days later that the second culture came back and... not a shock... I had strep throat just like I told them. Well at that point I had suffered through it as well as exposed my 3 kids including a newborn (which I was hoping to get an antibiotic to avoid this in the first place) and no longer needed medicine, making the entire visit useless- a total waste of time and money. We had a similar experience with my daughter when we tried to give them a second chance two days later. The CNA was again not friendly to my husband and he said everyone seemed to just be sitting around rather than making an effort to provide more timely care. After they left, we needed to back call to address a prescription concern at the pharmacy and they dont answer the phone so my husband had to drive back with my sick child to get our issue addressed. If this was my employer I would be completely embarrassed about the lack of thorough or compassionate care!
The staff members at this facility are amazing! I had to take my son to be checked out on his birthday because he wasn’t feeling well. The staff felt so sad that he was there on his birthday that they made him a little sign and gave him a little treat! I would recommend this clinic and will be returning here as well, if needed, in the future!
Quick service, fully treated my sons issue in the office in less than an hour! The doctor was kind and patient. Would definitely recommend!
Quick service. Apparently made the right diagnosis and prescriptions. Feeling much better in less than 48 hours.
My nurse was EXTREMELY rude. I was here for cold symptoms and another personal issue. I did not want to have a Covid test, and the nurse tried to get me to do one anyways. There is no reason I should be subjected to tests that I DO NOT consent to. When I had to tell her again that I didn’t want one, she rolled her eyes at me and walked out in the hallway only to talk about me loud enough(in a mocking tone) that I could hear it. I got up and said you know what, I’m just gonna head out. I left untreated for at least one issue that definitely could have been addressed, but as soon as I mentioned I was having cold symptoms covid was all they cared about.
I think the visit went well! The nurse and doctor were the nicest they could have ever been. The nurse we had was a nice lady named Tonya. She made sure my granddaughter felt better. We came in because my granddaughter had a sore throat. She had to get a covid and strep test. The nurse did it quick and easily. After awhile, the doctor came in. She was kind and welcoming. We told her we were traveling, and even though she said she was negative for both, still gave her a prescription. I really liked the visit and thought it was worthwhile!!
Everyone was amazing! So friendly and helpful. It didnt take long to be seen and get my vaccine. Chaley at the front desk s so nice and helpful. Kristen was very friendly and listened to me. Dr Jose is an absolute delight and very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend coming here to anyone!
We walked in at 4:45pm (they close at 8pm...8pm...) with my 10 year old who is having severe ear and throat pain. We were told that they were at capacity for walk ins that day. And would I like to have an appointment for 8am tomorrow? Im so very confused and frustrated as to why on earth they would even have their doors open or advertise themselves as an urgent care, if this is how their facility is run. We will absolutely not be back. On a side note, this review is no reflection at all on the staff who we interacted with. The ladies at the front desk were so polite, professional, and apologetic. The one star is only for them.
We were concerned because the reviews did not look good, but I thought they did a really good job and everyone was very nice and knowledgeable
Dr. Jo and my nurse Miss Denise was absolutely amazing! Just met these two women today and it was by far the best patient care I’ve received since I’ve been here! They were very gentle and very observant of my symptoms! 10/10 recommend! Couldn’t of asked for better!
Continues to refuse to bill my insurance for a covered procedure, even after I verified w/ my insurance that they are in network.
Very kind and understanding, got in quickly, considering its urgent care
Smells good, clean, nice, convenient location, efficient staff. Took time to hear you out, reasonable wait time. Same day appointment. Will return as needed. Recommend.
I came in near the end of there day. They stayed late and diagnosed my symptoms and helped me relieve them. I very much appreciate there willingness to work overtime and help me!!
0 stars. avoid this place at all cost especially if its for workmans comp/injury or out of your pocket.they are extremely rude all together. every. single. staff member.. they will make you wait 4 hours with a back injury from fall and THEN tell you their xray guy is in a meeting and try to send you to their other facility on stadium that sent you there in the first place bc they had no one available. they will schedule follow ups and have you wait 2 plus hours and then move other s ahead of you the women that was he nurse today is extremely rude today and condescending shouldnt be in Healthcare at all.you will have better luck and faster service with aby ER in town then either of these locations
The nursing staff was friendly and efficient. The doctor was thorough and explained his thoughts. Good experience
Went to this location a few months back and it was great. I was having congestion, sore throat and cough(exactly what I was having this time) and the previous provider prescribed me an antibiotic that got rid of it within a couple of days. I decided to come here again and it was HORRIBLE. I had an appointment for 2:40, got there at 2:28. I was there until 4:40. Kathryn Dietz is who I saw and she was easily the worst “provider” i’ve ever been to. Waited in the room for around an hour and a half and she was in my room for maybe 20 seconds. She said “It’s probably just allergies”. I’ve experienced allergies my entire life, so if I thought it was allergies I would not come in. I definitely won’t go back here if she’s the “provider”.
Excellent care from the moment I walked in until I left. Service was quick, too. Just took an hour to be seen. Couldn’t have asked for a better urgent care experience.
If I could 0 star I would . Let’s see first off I took my daughter here previously bc it’s one of the only places I could find that accept her insurance . She was falsely diagnosed with hand foot mouth. Then i took her in today she has a large boil on her inner thigh and it’s causing major discomfort well anyone will tell you not to squeeze those things the doctor decided to full on try and doctor pimple popper it and squeezed my babies abscess and now it is 4 times the size it was and the swelling is so bad she won’t walk on her leg she’s screaming in pain it’s way worse now then it was I just don’t know why he would do that and I trusted him to make it better now it’s worse then it was and all the squeezing was for nothing nothing even really came out of the boil….
I have horrible needle anxiety and Nurse Lynesha was so comforting and calmed me down immediately and made the process so much easier for me! She’s incredible!
I had tried going to the ER the night before and my friend and I waited 3 hours for them to see me.It is due to the fact that its future patients are seen on a need basis not a first come first serve basis.People that were coming in with more serious health needs are always treated firstNeedless to say I was never seen and had to leave before being treated.I was treated within an hour when I went to NextCare urgent Care thats why Im very grateful and willing to write a nice little review. It was quick and painless, and had the best check in system Ive ever seen! All being on your phone so that you can do it at your own pace. It even shows you how many people are waiting ahead of you. Watch gives you the ability to guess how long youll be there.Im never going anywhere else because this was an awesome experience and Im very happy! I got medication like I said within an hour.
I had the most horrible experience here!I am not one to complain but I’m very frustratedI came in on a Sunday afternoon and there was only 2-3 people in the lobby! I had an appointment to be seen! I came in @3:30 for my appointment and checked in! I was in line next according to the app and I sat there until 4:45 finally I got to go back….. I didn’t leave there office till 6:30pm… I came in to get a wellness check done and a TB test for my job and the reason why I chose to come to this clinic is because they do the TB test… the doctor told me I don’t need the test done because I didn’t have any symptoms of TB BUT it was for my work and the state required us to have it and I told her that multiple times! The doctor assured me that she could just write it off saying I’m in good health and I don’t need it… well long story short I got in trouble by my work because THEY refused to do THEIR JOB! I’m so frustrated… on top of that a wellness check doesn’t take 3 hours that’s ridiculous… when I was leaving I asked them to bill my insurance and they said they don’t accept it. My insurance is very good and there is no reason they should not have accepted it.. so they MADE me pay out of pocket when it should’ve been covered on my insurance and my insurance company agreed! everyone was rude and very poor care was given! Do not recommend this place at all… and now I have to start this process all over again but not with this business every again! They were all very lazy and obviously can’t perform there job correctly!
The two gals at reception were awesome. Jade, our nurse was awesome. Libby, our NP was awesome. We were seen quickly. The whole staff was kind, friendly, informative and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend their services.
My son and I received excellent care at Providence Urgent Care. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The nurse who roomed us and collected vitals was amazing with my rowdy toddler. She managed to collect a Covid swab without him getting upset at all! The nurse practitioner we saw was very thorough and was also great with my son. Our care was quick without ever feeling rushed. I would highly recommend them!
Tried to go tonight. Made appointment online, did paperwork online. Arrived at 6:58 for 7:00 appt and place was closed. Door said closes at 8; online says closes at 8. Was even able to check in online and it said two others were waiting. 😡 Extra annoying because it is clear across town for us.
Very professional- and did everything they could to help me. I have a secondary insurance tried several times to put it through. Their customer service was fantastic, and they went above and beyond.
My provider, Melissa, was wonderful. She explained what was going on, what she was doing every step of the way to address the issue and answered all my questions. At the end of the appointment she made sure I felt that the issue was addressed. Highly recommend.
I did a home test to check for Covid. Got a positive test so went online and was able to book an appointment for within the hour. Filled the paperwork online and was promptly seen. Got the confirmation and medication I need and am on my way home all within 2 hours of booking.
Everyone was very kind. The NP offered great care. The wait was really long. We scheduled a visit for rapid COVID test for my daughter. Then waited an additional 2hrs to be seen. It seems walk-ins were taken ahead of us, so I am not sure if a scheduled appointment is necessary.
I get here 15 minutes before my appointment. and its 45 minutes later when Im called back then another hour in the rom waiting. I had another appointment scheduled and because of them I missed it. I dont think they value my time. if I was late to my appointment they wouldnt see me. why schedule an appointment if you still have to wait. This is so unprofessional. I would not recommend coming here. Staff is rude and they treat you like you are dirt. I would rate this place a 0 stars. this location is on Nifong in Columbia.
There was little to no wait time, the interior of the facility was clean and inviting, and the staff was helpful and kind. The doctor came in quick after the nurse and she was very kind and helpful. I was in and out within thirty minutes. Everyone had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. I definitely recommend!
I love that you could schedule an appointment the night before. The staff was wonderful and the appointment went quickly.
The nursing assistant Tanya was wonderful. As was the physicians assistant.. Very knowledgeable and didnt take long to get my information across. I was in-and-out of there in 45 minutes with several blood draws. I would highly recommend them.
This place has really gone downhill since I was there last. I went in with Covid hoping to get a chest x-ray as arranged by appointment. Waited 1.5 hrs past my appt time and I’m really hurting. They went to get a Covid test kit and disappeared for 30 minutes. Then a different person came in and said they couldn’t do an x-ray because I would contaminate the machine and they would have to clean it. Never again here. First check to see how many are in waiting room because appointment times are meaningless. I was there for 2 hrs 20 minutes and left frustrated and empty handed. Personnel don’t seem to know what they are doing. Do yourself a huge favor and find a care unit that cares and has knowledgeable staff.
Cary and his team were absolutely amazing. They took such good care of me while I was there. I would highly recommend NextCare Urgent Care.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I came in for flu and Covid tests which I have gotten before and have been painful, but Nesha made sure that it was not a painful process. The other staff Luna, Katie, and Kim were also helpful.
The coffee was delicious but the food taste old it was gross 🤮
Both the nurse and NP were both professional and kind. The NP, Melissa made every effort to help me resolve my health concern. Her choice in treatment worked for me. Thanks!
The staff at Providence Urgent Care were really friendly and nice. The worked quickly and got me in fast, even though it was my first time there. The doctor threw me off a bit because he was started when he checked my throat, but I guess it was really bad (yikes). They even called back 3 days later to make sure I was feeling better and about steps I should take to make sure I dont get reinfected, which I really appreciated. I was in and out in probably 30 minutes (on a weekend with a lot of other people in there). If you cant make it to your normal physician and want to know youll be in good hands, I recommend this place!
Friendly reception. I was seen quickly on a Friday evening at 7:10 pm. I presented with a puncture wound at middle of the sole of my left foot. They cleansed the wound and gave me a tetanus shot. There were only two other clients there. I departed at 8:10 p.m. The nurse practitioner was tired, no nonsense but easy to banter with. I could tell they were ready to go home, but on a Friday evening, who could blame them. I would have felt better if some ointment was put on the band-aid before putting it on the sole of my foot and not just a prescription given for me to pick up the next day. So it was a dry large bandaid.
We were from out of town and one of our little ones came down with a fever. Found this urgent care close and was able to save a spot online. From check in to check out, everyone was great! Highly recommend.
Rude front desk staff! Gestured to me like a dog when it was my turn to be seen. No courtesy to say my first nor last name.Previously, I asked for an explanation of my test results and the front desk representative wouldnt let me see the doctor.I have waited 2hrs before I got seen!
This clinic is awesome! I called at 730 on Sunday evening when they close at 8. They did not make me feel bad for needing to be seen so close go closing time, instead they told me to come on in. I had to be seen for a covid test and when I got there, there was no awkward silence, or any shying away, just smiles. The nurse was awesome, as was the doc. They both made normal conversation with me even after my positive results. Thank you to MU Urgent Care Clinic for being so kind to me in a stressful situation! You guys rock!!
The staff and physician at NextCare were very nice and knowledgable.
I had postpartum bleeding and scheduled my visit before I arrive. And they just let me waited there after my scheduled time for 1.5hrs while I’m still losing blood. Then the charges me $50 before I got in. When the doc was finally ready to check me, she said they can do nothing and I have to go to where I deliver the baby. And they refused to refund me?! So I went there bleeding for 1.5hrs to donate $50?! Would never visit this ridiculous place again!
Everyone was really nice. Doctor even came and got me to show me my xrays and go over what he saw. Made me a disk and gave me referral paper work. I dropped my cane at the front desk and while I was doing paper work the receptionist stepped away and came and picked up my cane and handed it to me. Was really happy. The check in process was a little confusing but I finally got through it.
Everyone there was kind they treated me very nice outstanding people
The staff was warm receptive and polite. My needs were met with a professional atmosphere and the staff showed genuine interest and concern for me.
I am never the type of person to complain like this about an establishment, however I just want to help fellow college students out and warn you not to waste your time or money going to such an unorganized and unhelpful urgent care. I went here with what I thought was strep throat and they took a strep culture but decided to treat me for strep before the results came back. However, I never received a call with the results and while the antibiotic they gave me helped for a few days, it came back before I was even done taking the medicine so I tried calling to see if they had my test results or could do anything else to help me. After calling multiple times and staying on the line for nearly an hour, nobody picked up so I went into the office and the waiting room was completely empty. I dont understand why nobody could pick up the phone if there were no patients waiting to be seen. When I went in and told them that nobody called me with the results, they all acted very confused as to how that had happened, and decided to test me again and treat me again for strep. Still, nobody ever called with the results, so Ive now been treated with two antibiotics without even knowing if strep is what I have because nobody will tell me. I dont want to waste my time and money going back because I know nothing will be done. So I just want to warn anyone thinking of going here, dont. They literally dont do the most basic and simple part of their job of answering the phone or informing patients of their diagnosis and treating them for such.
My NextCare experience was extremely smooth. I had a very short wait in the lobby and each NextCare staff person was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was my 2nd visit to this location, and both experiences were extremely smooth. Great Staff!
Very nice facility I appreciated that disposable surgical masks were available at the desk. Dont bother with the online check in you fill out all the same exact things on paper when you get there and it didnt get me seen any sooner. I saw Charlotte, I suspect a nurse practitioner, she was very kind and efficient and just overall lovely.TL;DR - a standard urgent care experience in a very nice facility.
The ladies at the front desk were a bit overwhelmed by the morning rush but handled it calmly. The nurse was nice and explained what she was going to do. The nurse practitioner seemed a bit moody and tired like she needed a vacation. She came in the room and gave her speech on Covid-19 which was really fast and said they would call us in 1-5 days with results.
I went here for what seemed like strep throat, the doctor told me nothing was wrong even though I told them everyone around me was sick. Two weeks later I couldn’t get out of bed. I went to Mizzou Urgent Care and even though the doctor didnt get a positive strep test, he sent it for a culture (the normal thing to do). He gave me antibiotics and I’m already feeling better. Dont go here unless you want to waste 4 hours of your life just to be told nothing is wrong and end up worse than before.
I had such a great experience with Dr. Akhtar. I was seen fast and definitely recommend this facility and him as a care provider when you are looking for an Urgent Care.
Every person was courteous, caring, friendly, and professional from the receptionists, to the nurses, to the doctor. It was really busy, but the receptionists calmly welcomed every patient and promptly checked them in. The nurses and doctor addressed my concerns and spent sufficient time with me to resolve my health issues and answer my questions. Extremely positive experience.
The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful! I’m normally in and out within an hour (outside of busy hours). I definitely recommend this urgent care over many others.
The provider here, Adkisson, was really incredible with my 4 year old son. He made a scary injury not so scary and took care of him very thoughtfully and thoroughly. Very grateful
My visit was pleasant. The clinic was very clean. The front desk staff was friendly. The nurse was very nice. The doctor checked my condition thoroughly, answered my questions, and provided solutions quickly. She gave me the impression that she actually cared about me as a patient when she educated me on the side effects of sinus decongestants.
Horrible. Was told to wait outside in the cold. Tried calling and there was no answer. Still on the phone we walked back inside and you could hear it ringing. The women behind the desk were constantly removing their masks while talking to each other. Also watched as two patients had appointments at 9:30 had to wait to be seen.Update- Not once was offered a ice pack for broken fingers in the two hour wait. The doctor was appalled with the two women working the front desk. They honestly couldn’t have cared less about the people in their lobby.
Best place to go for when you can’t get into your regular Dr. They are fast and they really take care of their patients. Highly recommend!
Super fast and friendly staff. Proffesional and quick service from both the doctor and nurse who took my vitals. I was literally in and out in 15 minutes with a script called in to my pharmacy. Extremely satisfied patient right here. If there was an option for more stars I would give them 200% satisfaction. Thankfully I can get back to work and get to feeling better ASAP.
The staff was very nice and helpful. We waited over 1 1/2 hours for the appointment we made prior to coming but once we were seen we got some answers and treatment.
The front desk attendant was horrible. She was rude to patients, dismissive, not helpful, and not someone id want representing my business.I had a 530 appointment scheduled and I waited an hour and a half to be seen. The desk attendant said “oops I forgot” and then did nothing to fix it. Don’t waste your time making an appointment and just walk in I guess. Also not safe for COVID-19. A man walked in loudly announcing he needed a test and then proceeded to sit in the waiting room of about 8 other people for an hour.Once I was inside the care was okay and I was in and out in about 20 minutes.Get rid of the person managing the front of this place.
Incredible staff! We went in in a panic because our insurance had just started that day and we didnt have our cards yet. Maria at the front desk went way above and beyond to help us figure out a way to get in there and we were so relieved. Iris took care of us from there and did an excellent job making us more comfortable and delivered exceptional care in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place!
Doesnt accept walk ins, also arrived to my appt 20 minutes early and didnt get seen until 40 minutes later. woman at the front desk was rude when i asked if i would be seen soon
Took a little bit to get seen (but I was a walk- in), but once my care started, they did a great job. Care was just as good as at an ER, just more timely since my issue wasnt a true emergency. Would recommend and go again.
Doctor & nurse were great, but I had a 45 minute wait when I registered for an appointment online with zero people in line (when I arrived, there were 3 or 4 people ahead of me- I think there was an error with the online system).I set up an appointment online for 3:30, and when I did, the website said there were zero people in line. I got a text confirming my appointment right away. However, upon arriving at 3:20, I was not able to see a nurse until 4:15. I was not notified by text that I was even checked in until 4:00.The nurse and doctor were very nice, though, and were able to help me. I just don’t think the online system worked very well, and when I had multiple urgent care centers to choose from, I went with the one with the highest reviews.
The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly!! One of them (the woman who wasn’t training someone sorry I didn’t catch her name) went above and beyond and I greatly appreciate it! Vikki did my Covid test and was very reassuring beforehand! Overall 10/10 experience the fact that they have such amazing attitudes during a pandemic is freaking incredible. Keep it up!!
My daughter was visibly upset due to ear pain. The staff was kind, patient, and helpful. They were able to get her in quickly and provided her with wonderful care.
I got attacked by an animal that left me with claw marks and flaps of skin hanging off and I rushed to this urgent care because it was the last one open. I got there right before 8pm and they said they were closed and turned me away. I can’t even begin to imagine having so little empathy for another human, leaving them to be crippled by ER bills or to suffer 12 more hours just because you couldn’t be bothered to stay a few more minutes.
I was a walk in patient, and I was in and out within 30 minutes. The provider was EXTREMELY kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel like she truly cared about helping me to start healing. Such a wonderful experience.
Last week I dropped some heavy dishes on my foot. After two days it was swollen and it was incredibly painful to walk. It was a Saturday evening and I decided that it would be best to get it checked out, just in case, but did not want to sit in the ER.I went to Providence Urgent care around 7 pm (they close at 8). There were a couple other people filling out forms for a visit. Because I had never been there before, I had two forms to fill out, and they just required my health insurance and an ID. The receptionist was very friendly, even considering the fact that she was somewhat busy and it was an hour prior to closing time on a Saturday night. After completing the forms, I waited for two minutes at the most. Two nurses brought me to a room to get my health history, take my blood pressure, find out why I was there, etc.The wait for the doctor to see me was very brief (in past visits to doctors/the ER, this wait usually takes the longest). She examined my foot and was very thorough and gentle. She was incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable. I was sent with an X-ray tech to have my foot X-rayed (the X-ray tech was also very friendly). After another very short wait, the doctor returned to tell me that nothing was broken. She gave me some tips on how to care for my foot and sent in a nurse to wrap it. The nurse also gave me some tips on how to care for my foot, etc.Altogether, with filling out paperwork, consulting with the nurses, doctor, and X-rays, my visit was about 25 minutes. I usually spend at least that waiting to be seen for a scheduled doctor appointment.I am incredibly thrilled with my experience. Today, (3 days later) I received a follow up call to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. I highly recommend Providence Urgent Care to everyone!
Scheduled a physical for 9:15, didnt get in until 40 mins later, and didnt get done with it until 10:30. Even after getting in the room, the majority of my time was spent sitting around. For $66 I would expect much quicker service for something as simple as a physical.
Everyone here was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. The clinic was clean and the wait was minimal considering I was a walk in.
Currently 35 mins past my appointment and still people in front of me. Dont assume they will see you in a prompt manner or even close to your appointment time. Would have been nice to know ahead of time.Edit: absolute garbage. Got to 45 minutes past my appointment time and left. These people have absolutely no clue what they are doing. Wouldnt reccomend youbtrust them with your health. Bet I get a bill too...
Called about being looked at because of a rash or possibly poison oak. Got in quickly and efficiently.
I scheduled my visit online, got in to see the Provider on time (early slot before they got too busy). The Provider took her time, evaluated and listened to me. Came back with care plan options as well as her recommendation, and why she made the recommendation. Very easy to talk to. If I need Urgent Care again I’ll return to NextCare.
I arrived at this urgent care at 1:30pm and was told to come back at 2:15 as that was the earliest appointment available. I came back at 2 and waited for over 2 hours in my car. I tried calling the front desk and I was unable to reach them by phone so I’d have to walk in and ask them how many people were ahead of me and for over an hour and a half they said there were 2 guests ahead of me. The people at the front desk had zero since of urgency and said that it was not possible to schedule an appointment which is absurd when encountering wait times over 2 and a half hours!
Right now it is not easy to get a doctor appointment right away. The walk-in service is so helpful. They let you know what you’ll need to take care of your visit right when you walk in and the staff is honest, thoughtful, and helpful. The wait time was not terrible and social distancing, while not harshly enforced, was easily maintained. While I don’t currently have health insurance, they have a program for medical care that you pay for upfront and then per visit. This seems far more affordable than paying for the entire cost of your services which could limit your care.
I recieved amazing care here! Im extremely satisfied. So satisfied Ive recommended this urgent care to all my people. My wait was not too long. With all the shortages going on in our world today, PLEASE BE KIND TO THISE WHO DO SHOW UP.
I was sick and couldnt get into my doctor. I was able to book an appointment online fairly easily. I am sure more techno savvy people could have whizzed through. I was treated wonderfully by the entire staff and was diagnosed with the flu and pneumonia! I was prescribed meds and I think I was out in about 45 minutes. They were able to do a chest xray on the premises. I will definitely keep them in mind when I need care urgently again. Thanks to Elisha, front staff, Kristin and Daniella Back staff and Dr. Ralf. And a little over 36 hours later I am definitely on the mend. Thanks again!
Very bad experience :( I went in sick and only got tested for covid. My test was negative but they told me to quarantine for 3 days anyway and keep testing myself at home for Covid. I kept testing negative and was still sick so I scheduled another appointment. It said it was an online appointment but I was confused on what I needed to do for this appointment so I tried calling the urgent care. I was on the line for over 40 minutes and ended up just giving up and trying to get on my virtual appointment. I then waited in the virtual appointment room for 30 minutes until I got a call from the urgent care asking where I was. I was unaware you needed to actaully come in to the urgent care for the virtual appointment which I would’ve figured out if they answered my original call in the first place. I ended up missing my appointment and had to go somewhere else. Overall just not a good experience considering they sent me home without testing for anything else and then made it difficult for me to get another appointment.
The primarily physician was nice and all. However, they are extremely EXTREMELY slow here! I walked in at 9 and got assisted as soon as 915 but was not able to leave the place until noon. I was in the room waiting for 2.5 hours and another half an hour just to get finalized prescription. Mind you that I was the ONLY person there. I came in for a typical flu visit. I couldve just give them what to prescribe me. Front receptionist was also not very helpful with my insurance and billing questions.
Very pleasant experience and the doctor spent plenty of time with me figure out my issue. I’d go back to them again if I had another problem
Over the course of the weekend with a sick family Ive been here twice. Today it was my husband who was diagnosed with pneumonia and dehydration. They gave him antibiotics, an inhaler and Ive fluids. He already feels better. Great nursing staff and a great group of doctors. They were super friendly and it was super quick. Now we are on the road to recovery!
Was 2nd person in waiting room to be checked in. Then 4 separate people who came in behind me got seen before me. Rather drive 45 mins to my regular physician than sit here.Update: I went to the receptionist and they got me in right away and apologized sincerely about the mix upUpdate on the update: I had to come back because my work required COVID-19 testing and they got me in right away! They are awesome and don’t put blame on anyone else. Very friendly people.
Not a terribly long wait time, which was nice surprise, because I was prepared for a long afternoon. Friendly staff, caring and knowledgeable! Got the help I needed that I couldn’t take care of during the week with my regular doctor, since I couldn’t find the time to take off in the middle of the week.
Unprofessional yelling from nurses in the back and double standards of which patients/visitors wear masks. This team of nurses should speak up and hold one another accountable when they see it. If you have two small signs that say to wear a mask and you let three different patients walk back without them…that’s a problem.
Provider and nurses are friendly. Take their time and willing to answer questions.
The staff was respectful.Wait was brief.
The nurse practitioner, Elizabeth, was very attentive and because she took a chest X-ray I was found to have a nodule that needed to be followed. Had she not done that I would not of known prior to going for a cardiac cath. I felt she took the time and the effort to try to make certain that I had to care that I needed to get. Moreover she got the CT scan scheduled that very day so it could be done prior to my procedure. I have gone to Providence urgent care several times and I’ve taken my daughter there and each time they have gone above and beyond,I felt, to make me feel welcome and cared for.
We are not from here so this was our first visit to this urgent care. . Registration process easy and our wait time was reasonable. The Tech was patient and very sweet with our child. The Doctor was very thorough and very nice. I would highly recommend this clinic!
Jennifer at Nextcare was very helpful trying to get my sons results. They were short staffed and the wait was long but any time I had a question or concern, Jennifer had an answer and was very concerned and empathetic. Very busy place but efficient and professional.
I am so grateful for the doctor, nurses and receptionist that were working on Sunday night. After spending the day, battling a pretty bad case of viral gastroenteritis (aka stomach flu) and getting absolutely no relief with any home remedy, I walked into the urgent care and was immediately greeted with kind and understanding faces. I ended up spending about an hour and a half there, receiving two bags of IV fluids and the entire time, they made me feel so comfortable and cared for. I walked in feeling like death and left feeling like a human again. Thank you so much to the team that took care of me last night!
The staff and nurses were courteous. They treat your whole person (emotional and physical). No bureaucracy, no drama, and no unnecessary hold when you need to talk on the phone. They strive to meet your needs. Its a whole new (+ve) experience.
Horrible service. I was there 45 minutes. When I got there I was checked in by a nurses get tech. And then no one else came to see me. So I open the door for 10 minutes and waited for someone to walk bye and I didnt see anyone. So I walked up to the desk and ask if there was a provider on staff today. I was told they have one and he was very busy. So I left. The nursing staff are eating at the desk. The provider didnt get up out of his chair for 30 minutes. Just not what it used to be. I would have understand if it were busy. But it was not.
Whats the point of having an appointment if you will be sitting for hours for a simple covid test? Takes a max of 20 minutes and yet you have the people sitting with everyone else the whole time they wait for anything. If you dont have time dont accept appointments!
My six year old fell at the playground on a Sunday evening; we went into NextCare- Nifong in Columbia about 45 minutes before their scheduled close time. They were polite, professional and handled my son with care (which included x-rays). Should we have an urgent need in the future, we will use this location again.
Absolutely awful experience! Avoid this place! I went here yesterday 10/6/20 at 4:15 for a Covid rapid. I’m picking up my mom who is immunocompromised from the hospital tomorrow and have not been feeling well. The receptionist told me to come back between 9-4:30 the following day (they had already met their 90 person testing max for the day). I show up the next day at 2:30 pm, wait in line outside for 30 minutes (per protocol they only allow certain amount of people in). Nurse comes outside and says we’re only going to take 5 more people for rapid testing today, “I can’t have my staff working all day”....they’re open daily until 8pm. A rude person waiting in front of me starts interfering and stating, “we’ve been here longer than you, get over it”. They take her and 4 others in. Knowing how crucial this test is for my mother’s safety, I continue to wait in line for the regular test. After 15 minutes of additional waiting, I decide to go inside and ask a question. The same rude person starts interfering in my business again. So I decide to respond with a few select words for her. The person sitting behind the desk, jumps up screaming at me to leave and tells me if I come back “I’ll report you for trespassing” without telling the other patient that she shouldn’t have interfered in my personal conversation with staff, not once but twice. Obviously you have my name and can check out who I am. I’m a registered nurse (never mentioned this), and can say professionally the way you handle your testing by wasting people’s time is shameful! And if I by chance do have Covid....and you wasted my time two consecutive days, then told me never to come back after 45 minutes of waiting; while taking the side of a rude person who was unnecessarily meddling in my health business, you’ll need to answer me. Columbia is very limited on testing and I have only been sympathetic for 48 hours. I have never left a negative review for any clinic!
I don’t know why they advertise walk-ins when you try and they tell you that you have to come back tomorrow because they can’t see you. And when you do get an appointment, you’re stuck in the waiting room for an hour and back in the office for at LEAST another hour. Like they just forget about you and then say “oh we’re just busy”. Took over 2 hours for a 15 minute flu test.
Went to the Stadium location first...got there at 9:06, you supposedly open at 9. Receptionist was sitting at the desk totally ignoring me as I waited outside. Looked at my watch to confirm time you open vs what time it was. Waited a couple minutes outside, another lady arrives, still the receptionist is just ignoring us. Finally she comes to the door and says we are short on staff and not sure when we will open. Go to Providence location, wait about 40ish minutes to be seen. That goes pretty smoothly other than after getting a Tetanus shot I am told to wait and they will come to release me. After about 10-15 minutes waiting I finally go out and ask if there is some reason why I need to stay to which the reply is oh sorry, I thought someone had come to release you. So had I had a adverse reaction to the shot, being behind a closed door and no one aware I was still there...it would have just been tough luck because I could have been lying on the floor by that point. That will most definitely be my last visit to any of your locations. So 2 hours and $188 later all for one Tetanus shot....very poor service. :(
This was the third time in two years I visited Providence Urgent Care and have complete confidence in the staff, the nurses and the doctor. I live over 80 miles away and waited to make the trip to Columbia as I have much faith in their diagnosis and without an appointment have always been taken back to the room in 5 to 15 min. even before I would have paperwork finished. This NEVER happens in smaller towns!! The nurses and Dr. Zerrer are always thorough with questions and answering my questions. The x-ray staff is very informative also. Whether an injury from a fall or from lung x-rays the staff is very cordial. The return phone calls are a nice surprise to ask how I am doing, local doctors in rural areas do not bother with this complimentary effort. Even the Columbia hospitals have representatives to call you at home after a hospital dismissal. What a blessing this staff is to have in Columbia. Thank you.
Ive gone to the one off of Nifong probably over ten times and Ive never had issues with any of the doctors or nurses. Great people skills had by all and diagnosing and treating on point. If you need something taken care of that can wait until Providence is open, Id recommend going here instead of the emergency room. Their website has a pretty solid list of things within their scope of practice. Highly recommend 👌
Worst experience ever. Online appointment system did not work so my appointment was not registered. My wait time was over an hour with 2 people ahead of me. Both secretaries had trouble figuring out how to do their job on the computer to even enter my insurance information. After the visit I asked for documentation to be emailed to me and apparently even that task is difficult for them to perform because it was never done. This place is run by untrained drones with very little experience in both basic computing and customer service skills. Also, no direct phone line to the clinic. You must go through their labyrinthian call center which is unnecessary corporate trash and just delays the inevitable of redirecting you to the clinic.Avoid this place.
This place used to be fast. Now its slow! Ive been here for 2 plus hours. Had me sitting in the exam. room for an hour plus. Staff keeps stating, someone will be in to see you shortly. 30 minutes later still not seen. I never spent that much time at my primary care doctors office. Actually, I never spent that much time at any doctors office. This is ridiculous! SmhThen the doctor writes me two scripts that none of the pharmacies have. This is crazy!
Even though I was a bit late for my appointment, they were able to work me in without a problem. Very friendly staff and very efficient too. I would recommend them to anyone needing health care. 💯
Caring, efficient and thorough. Thank you for taking good care of me.
I made an appointment online and only waited about 5 min to be seen. My parents who were visiting from out of state, also visited and were pleased (other than a confirmed case of the flu and breathing treatments). The doctors are always kind, efficient and quick to help!
This urgent care is awful. I went in for a rapid covid test and a pcr test. I had an appointment at 3:15 and didnt leave until almost 6 pm. They told me that it would take 15 minutes to get my results for the rapid test and I sat there for an hour. They also told me the way to get the pcr results were on the sheet of paper that they gave me and they were not. I cant find anything on the website on how to get my results and have not received a call like they said they would. This is an awful urgent care, never go here.
Finally after spending all night at University Hospital, then Boone Health... NextCare could finally do their job. Seems simple to everyone else at the time youre going through it, and NextCare really seems to have compassion. Thank you for helping me, and doing a great job!!!!
They made me wait in my hot car for an hour for curbside service because I needed/my symptoms warranted a COVID test. Okay, I get it, you have to disinfect everything, it was busy, etc. When I finally got in, the nurse practitioner took no time with me. Practically dismissed me as soon as she saw me. I was concerned for my symptoms & really struggling to breathe, so I ended up going to another place. Turns out I had pneumonitis. Which would have been nice to know earlier. Ended up wasting a lot of my time, nurse practitioner had a horrible attitude towards me & was rude. Quite a dehumanizing experience.
I took my 4 year old son in for a jammed and swollen finger. I was really impressed with his treatment. Everyone was very patient and courteous. Then we got popsicles!I would absolutely recommend this location and go back.A year later I took my 2 year old daughter in to get checked for an ear infection. The staff was so awesome and kids friendly!
Registered online last night to get a covid test today...filled out all my insurance information...went in 10 minutes early with no one in the lobby. The receptionist informed me I would need to fill out paperwork, the same paperwork I filled online last night. Then I waiting 20 more minutes, two patients had previously left. While I waiting, numerous staff came up front behind the counter, doing nothing, maybe gossiping...At that point, I told the receptionist to tear up my file and left feeling frustrated. These people operate like its a Non For Profit and have no business sense....Sure wasnt like this when Jason & Scott owned and operated the clinic. Very Sad
Nice people, pretty clean office. My rapid covid test was set for 10:50am but I was not seen until about 12pm, and not out the door until 12:35pm, which is reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise fine
The staff was informative, quick, organized, and kind. People were walking in left and right and they didn’t seem frazzled one bit. I’m grateful for the experience, I didn’t feel judged for being there. It’s such a stressful time - the unknown of this virus. Medical care providers are stretched thin. So - thank you so much.
The worst expirence I ever had at a doctors office. The doctor came in with an attitude, which only got worse, never actually went over any of my symptoms. Prescribed a medicine and stormed out. I will never come here again.
