My heart is with the entire Concord OB/GYN staff but especially midwives Sole Diaz and Kim Capella!! Both are absolute amazing midwifes! My family traveled from South Korea at week 32 of my pregnancy… not normal! Kim (first midwife I saw) immediately scheduled my necessary tests and welcomed me with open arms. She ensured my medical pregnancy records (I’m over 35 yo) completely transferred so I would not have to redo any tests (glucose 🤢).I saw Midwife Sole the most during my pregnancy, but Midwife Kim was on call when we schedule my induction. On the delivery day, I felt SO seen and heard! She let me direct my delivery and listened to my birth plan while giving me sage advice on certain decisions. I had an induction (he was one week late) with a small amount of Pitocin (by my request) and my waters broken by Nurse Midwife Kim (also my request). While laboring she allowed and encouraged me to have breakfast and suck on my ginger candies. I labored standing, on the ball, walking… she gave me the freedom of my room (I chose not to leave it) and the options of the tub, shower or in my bed(I chose not to use water). When it came time to push my little boy out, she didn’t intervene at all! She was extremely confident in my abilities and professional; she gave the most soothing vocal encouragements… with this being my 5th delivery, she left my experience for me and was there like a safety net. I wanted a home birth but I need to be in a hospital, yet with Kim, I felt right at home! I only pushed for about 2 min! No epidural! The entire nursing staff at Emerson Hospital’s Clough Birthing Center is sensational and so are the midwives! Look no further for amazing care!!!
Dr. Thomas was amazing. She is so kind and sweet. Made me feel comfortable. She’s on top of things and makes sure to go over everything before leaving. She answered all my question and also let me hear my baby’s heartbeat. She is just amazing. If I can choose someone to deliver my baby I deff feel comfortable with her. Thank you Dr. Thomas.
Dr. Thomas is absolutely wonderful. She is patient, kind, and cares about your health and well being. She takes the time to listen to your questions and does not rush you out the door. Its nice having a down-to-earth doctor who makes taking care of your womanly health easy and approachable. I always feel Concord OB/GYN has my best interest at heart and would recommend this practice to any of my friends/family.
I started going to Dr Thomas for regular follow up. I found she was easy to talk to, she’s very reassuring and has a relaxing presence. I’ve had two babies now with Concord OBGYN, both great experiences prenatal care to delivery. I always feel like my concerns and questions are met with respect, seriousness, and gentleness. I have recommended them to many expectant friends.
I became a patient at Concord Ob/Gyn over 20 years ago when pregnant with my youngest son. The staff here are absolutely wonderful. I have been a patient of Dr. Travias since then and he is the best doctor Ive ever dealt with. He always has a smile and is patient and attentive. I cant recommend him and the practice enough!
Dr Rubin has such a natural, relaxed demeanor but always with a careful assessment in his diagnoses. He is also conscientious in explaining his thought process, making sure the patient understands completely. This pleasant attitude extends to his entire staff. I even commented today to them that everyone is SO nice and with a nice sense of humor, even when speaking on the phone. All of which is an added plus when dealing with women that might be feeling hormonal! 😉
Every time I visit, I feel so cared for. No wait, not rushed, totally efficient and simultaneously thorough. I trust that Dr Thomas is listening and understanding my needs and making good recommendations. I highly recommend this practice.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Dr.Travias. From the moment I became a patient, he has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that both I and my family felt informed, supported, and comforted throughout every step of my pregnancy and delivery.Dr. Travias was there for us during what could have been a very difficult time, offering clear guidance and reassurance that made all the difference. His professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. We always felt that we were in the best possible hands, and his dedication to his patients is truly inspiring.I am beyond grateful to have had Dr. Travias as my OB. His care and the experience he provided serve as a reminder of the excellence we can find in healthcare. I highly recommend Dr. Travias to anyone seeking an OB who truly cares about their patients and their families.
I am a new patient and new to the area. Dr. Bond was very warm and friendly in her bedside manner. She was also very thorough in her explanation of what she was doing and what I should expect during the process of the exam.
Alexandra was awesome and made me feel really heard, safe, and taken care of. Ive been really nervous about getting an IUD and she gave me all the information I needed to feel good about getting one, and I also trust that shell do a good job when it comes time to get it based on how painless my annual appointment went.
Less than 5 min waiting time. Friendly staff. Dr Travias shows genuine interest in my health concerns. They also accommodated my last minute request for blood work. I would recommend his practice
Christina is amazing, she listens, relates and always makes me feel so completely comfortable, I don’t ever feel like just another patient. She has also helped me get through some massive life changes. I am so grateful for her professionalism and kindness.
I have been a patient at concord obgyn for 20 years now. I started w a dr that is no longer there and then saw them all once pregnant and had a wonderful experience both times! Travias has been a favorite of mine since my original dr left. He really sits and listens to you and doesn’t make you feel rushed at all. He gives you the time to discuss anything you need and helped me immensely through my first child birth. He is also “real” and tells you how it is and I appreciate that.
Dr. Thomas has been my GYN for the past 12 years since I moved to the area. She has been amazing doctor as I am navigating all the phases of being a woman. I cannot recommend her enough!
Dr. Travias is my doctor for 17 years. He delivered my both kids. He is an amazing, smart, funny, and professional doctor. The best doctor ever! Thank you Dr. Travias for always taking care of me! You are so kind and always so professional! All the secretaries and nurses, that works at the office are wonderful! Thank you everyone.
Joanna was very kind, calm and always alerted me of her next move. She knows how to read people’s anxiety levels and works well with it. Joanna was an amazing doctor who knows what she’s doing.
I cannot sing this places praises enough...All of the doctors are amazing. Dr. Travias is my absolute favorite. People here truly care. My little bundle was born and I wouldnt recommend anywhere else.
I was here the other day for an iud removal and insertion. All the staff was amazing. The provider I saw, I feel like she may go by Sasha, but her name is Alexandra. She talked me through everything she was doing. Maybe tmi, but my uterus is tilted backwards which causes a more difficult insertion. She always asked me if I needed breaks. She gave me an ice pack for my head and heat pack for my belly. It definitely was an uncomfortable experience, but Sasha made it so much better.
Dr. Rubin is fantastic—compassionate, professional, and always makes me feel comfortable. He listens carefully and explains everything clearly. Highly recommend!
Dr. Thomas and staff are caring and very respectful. Dr. Thomas is willing to listen to my concerns and never makes me feel she has a need to rush off to her next patient.
Professional service and always answer your questions and concerns quickly. All staff are very friendly and supportive. Special thank you to Dr. Goel and Sasha for their support during delivery and postpartum recovery time! Highly recommend this place for OBGYN care.
Dr. Travias is great doctor! Extremely professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He also makes me feel comfortable. I trust Dr. Travias 100%, and I feel my health is in good hands!
Excellent service, very knowledgeable doctor. Very friendly, explains things so you can understand her. Would highly recommend her!
I saw Joanna C for a routine appointment that I was pretty nervous for, but she made me feel so comfortable and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend her!
Dr. Bond does an incredible job of talking to you, giving you insight on any issues and formulating a path forward! She really takes the time to explain what is happening. Very satisfied
Solee is an amazing midwife. Shes smart, thorough, kind, caring and non-judgmental. She goes above and beyond and has made my pregnancy care a great experience.
Dr. Rubin takes the time to clearly explain all treatment, options, and what to expect. I appreciate the clarity and care. I never feel rushed and I am very satisfied.
She’s a good listener who is willing to send you off to other specialist if needed. She’s very diligent and very compassionate I’d highly recommend her to my family and friends.
Dr. Bond was very kind and caring. Also explained everything in a manner that a lay person could understand.
Joanna was warm, empathetic and thorough, and careful to explain everything to be certain I understood my test results and future steps.
Joanna is absolutely amazing. I saw her at 8:45 AM and she called me at 7:45 PM to check in and make sure I knew my results.
Went here for about 6.5 months during my pregnancy and did not feel heard/seen/cared for. Our appointments were 5 minutes or less, felt rushed, and overall did not feel supported emotionally, physically, or as an individual. The 2 midwives at the practice often were not on the same page with answers to questions so that was unnerving. As this was my first pregnancy, I wanted to turn to Concord’s care rather than going to doctor google and called the nurses line. Every time I called there was a lack of empathy/sympathy and I was made to feel like a burden. Those who give are pregnant, and their partners should not be made to feel this way. My husband and I wanted to give the practice a fair shot thinking that maybe our appointments would become longer the further along we got in pregnancy and that maybe the times we called the nurses line, people were just not having a good day. Neither of those things changed in 6.5 months. I got my glucose test done before I switched providers and had blood work done as well. I received no message in the portal OR a phone call to let me know I passed but more importantly that I was anemic and needed to take iron. Instead, I got a letter in the mail stating that I needed to take 45-65mg of iron multiple times a day. Mind you, my levels were just below average. While I wanted to trust the professionals, I didn’t feel that was safe. My husband googled the amount of iron they told me to take and found that it was not safe. Fast forward a week, I switched care to Mount Auburn Hospital at the Center for Women. I read them the letter Concord sent me and they said no one should be recommending that amount of iron. Another thing to note, my baby wasn’t expected to be breech but I wanted to be prepared/know my options if he was. I asked if they deliver breech babies and I was quickly shut down with no that’s an automatic c section. Just a heads up for anyone who has the same question about the practice. Generously giving the practice 3 stars for the front desk staff who were so sweet and the ultrasound tech or 2 who were kind.I delivered at Mount Auburn just over a week ago and I cannot rave about the entire experience enough. So glad we switched care.
He was so knowledgeable, kind, and took time to listen to exactly what I needed. I left my appointment, feeling hopeful and grateful for such good care.
I have been through many woman issues through the last 10 years. .I have been treated with the utmost kindness , respect and care by Dr. Ruben & Travi, ultrasound women, reception ladies and shout out to the alll the NURSES!! and the whole team.... I would recommend this place 100%.
Generally they are warm, friendly, compassionate, while also being practical and knowledgeable, with good judgement, and they really care.
I have been seeing Dr. Thomas since 2015 for my routine GYN visits. I live in Southern NH, but the care I have had here is unparalleled and totally worth the drive! Dr. Thomas and Holly West, NP, have always been so friendly and always treated me with respect. I saw COG all throughout my first pregnancy and Dr. Goel delivered my son last year. We had a scare during my first ultrasound, but the providers could not have been more empathetic and comforting to both my husband and me. We were so scared, but felt relief that we were in the right hands at COG. With how many prenatal appointments I had to make, I never had an issue getting an appointment that works for my schedule and I LOVE that there is a Westford location for my non-ultrasound appointments! I met with each provider throughout my pregnancy and really connected with and felt listened to by every provider I have seen at COG - the Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwife, Nurses, Medical Techs, and Ultrasound Techs there have all been so reassuring, kind, empathetic and genuinely happy for me during such an important time in my life.
First time meeting with Sasha and she was absolutely great! Made me feel at ease and answered all my questions.
Dr Thomas was 100% hand on and willing to listen and help with any issues. Love my dr:)
Dr Travias is literally the best doctor Ive ever met. Hes quite literally held my hand as Ive woken from surgery. A+
Ive been a patient of Dr. Travias for 16 years. He is a phenomenal healthcare provider and always personable.
Was seen on a timely basis. Dr Rubin had clearly read my chart before coming in to the exam room and was very clear on the issues, possible scenarios and outcomes.
Joanna was warm upon entering the room, compassionate and never made me feel rushed in expressing my concerns or ask important questions.
He’s the best. Sees the whole person, not just a patient. Truly listens and makes you feel heard.
Dr. Travis listens and understands your concerns! He cares about the patients!
Staff are just the right blend of friendly and professional. Creating an atmosphere where you feel well cared for.
Dr. Thomas is friendly, down to earth, and very knowledgeable. She listens to concerns and offers suggestions and solutions.
I cannot overstate the wonderful quality of care I received from Concord OB/GYN before and during my pregnancy. All of the providers and all supporting staff are not only knowledgeable, they genuinely cared for me as an individual. I felt consistently confident I was receiving the best quality of care. A special thank you to Dr. Thomas and Kim Capello, CNM for creating a calm, safe, empowering atmosphere during my labor and delivery. I will be forever grateful to this practice for their support in bringing my son into this world! I highly recommend trusting them with any and all OB/GYN needs.
I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. From gyno care to the birth of my baby boy. For years I struggled with menstrual pain and pelvic pain when I ran and every doctor I saw dismissed me with comments such as “oh your young it’s normal” or “maybe it’s just muscle tightness. Try stretching”. My very first visit here though they immediately confirmed what I suspected and gave me the option for a diagnostic surgery. Two years later I was blessed to use them for my pregnancy and delivery. Every single doctor is wonderful, as is their staff. I have favoritism for Dr. Thomas and Dr. Travaes though since one did my surgery a couple years back and the other delivered my boy. Not to mention their midwives who I loved so much as well and really appreciated having by my side through it all. As I said, very attentive, kind and even nurturing staff. I highly recommend!
Sasha W. was amazing. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and to make sure I was comfortable.
Caring, knowledgeable and dedicated to his patients. I am so grateful to have him as my OBGYN.
I am incredibly lucky my PCP referred me to Concord OB/GYN. I was 64 years old with sudden and severe post-menopausal bleeding. Concord OB/GYN scheduled me in for an appointment the next day. Over the next three months I experienced excellent care from Dr. Richard Rubin and Dr. Shikha Goel. Early on I had diagnostic day surgery with Dr. Rubin, across the street at Emerson Hospital. Several weeks later I had major surgery with Dr. Goel and was admitted to Emerson. Dr. Goel was outstanding. She visited me every single day I was hospitalized - usually twice a day. Dr. Travias visited me one day and provided valuable insights. All of my nurses at Emerson told me how impressed they were with Dr. Goel’s attentiveness, thoroughness and availability.I have never felt rushed during an office visit. I rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes before being called back to an exam room. Dr. Rubin and Dr. Goel have always been very responsive to questions left on voicemail or email messages through the on-line portal. The nurse triage line is also very quick to reply. One night, after I was discharged to home, I had to call the office after hours. Dr. Travias was on-call and responded in just a few minutes. He greeted me by name with “How are you? I’m so glad you’re home!” I had met the man once. To me it is emblematic of the personal, compassionate care Concord OB/GYN provides.
Dr. Travias is hands-down, the best Dr I’ve ever been to. He is knowledgeable, empathetic, caring, a straight-shooter and has a phenomenal sense of humor. If you’re looking for an excellent OB/GYN with an efficient and caring staff look no further than Concord OB/GYN and Dr Travias.
Joanna is super knowledgeable, cheerful and helpful. Total professional - would highly recommend!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with concord OBGYN. I am 1:4 women who experienced a early loss with my first pregnancy. That being said, the comfort they gave me and reassurance during the pregnancy of my rainbow baby now 10 month old son was unmatched. Throughout my entire pregnancy, I felt nothing but support and justification of every single emotion I felt. The nurses and doctors were all extremely personable and I felt very comfortable discussing my care with each and every one of them. The receptionists are friendly and professional. The nurse triage line always returned my calls with a timely manner. When paging a doctor, they always returned my call within the 30 minute timeframe regardless of the hour. I 10/10 recommend them to anyone in the area who would love a personal, professional, family feel during pregnancy and birth!
Do not see Dr. Bond, terrible bed side manner. She told me that just because I see other plus size women having children doesn’t mean I should, and she continued discussing me reaching my “stable weight”. Lack of professionalism is disgusting. Seek care elsewhere.
Professional and pleasant.I would refer this doctor !Grateful to have this doctor on my team.
Great experience with the nurse at Concord OB. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Lovely experience.
I love this office! I was able to meet with all four doctors...Dr Bond, Thomas , Rubin and Travies were all great!! I was very impressed with their efficiency when I came in for my appointments....giving birth during a pandemic wasn’t easy but they were great about answering questions and the receptionists were great! They always called two days before the appointment to ask screening questions for Covid and to remind me when my appointment was! I loved the nurses Jackie and Kim and all the ultra sounds ladies were great too! I would highly recommend going to this practice...they are great! Dr Bond delivered me and she was awesome, but I liked all of the doctors equally! Really awesome people :)
Super friendly office staff! Even friendlier doctor! Love Dr. Travias!
I had a great experience at Concord OB/GYN, even with a pregnancy during the height of the pandemic, and being a nervous first-time mom. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The ultrasound techs were very kind, especially since I couldn’t have a support person with me because of coronavirus protocols. Dr. Thomas was my primary doctor and she is amazing - she made me feel comfortable asking questions and bringing up any topic during checkups. During and after delivery she was confident but also understanding and was great under pressure when complications arose. Each doctor at the practice is different, so everyone should be able to find one that they personally feel comfortable with.
Highly skilled, infinitely competent, great communication and listening to her patients.
I LOVE the staff at Concord OB/GYN! They are always super friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. I have been seeing Dr. Goel since April and she has been nothing but great! Such a knowledgeable and compassionate person, and highly recommend her to new patients!! :)
Great practice! I have been going to Concord OB/GYN for several years now for my routine visits. The entire staff is extremely caring and professional. The office itself is clean and private. I usually see Dr.Rubin and his medical assistant Jackie - they are the best!!
Don’t waste your time, and money. I love about 40 minutes away from thisOffice and needed an emergency appointment as a new patient. Waited two weeks, paid a 60 dollar copay, as well as they billing my insurance 300 plus dollars. The only thing the doctor did was tell me I should find a doctor closer to where I live and if I needed to go the the ER it wouldn’t be Emerson hospital. I let this absolute waste of time and money ago until I received a text this morning telling me I owe them money! They did absolutely nothing by tell me to find another doctor. If I could give less than one star I would.
She explained, listened, looked, and reassessed. She was excellent!
I have been going to this practice for ten years. 7 years of excellent GYN care, Dr. Travias was always a great listener and gave great care, even through multiple birth control issues. I’ve had two miscarriages with surgeries and everyone from the front desk staff to the doctors was kind and compassionate. They worked seamlessly with my reproductive endocrinologist and I am now 15 weeks along in my third pregnancy. All the administrative staff have been so great with billing and paperwork. The nurses are always quick to call me back with answers to questions and results to tests. And EVERY doctor I’ve seen and talked to on the phone has had a great demeanor and bedside manor and given me and my baby great care! I can’t wait to continue my care for this pregnancy and birth through this practice!
After a bad experience at another OBGYN office, Concord OBGYN was suggested to my husband and I and we couldnt be more glad we switched doctors offices! Every single doctor and nurse is wonderful. Being pregnant for the first time left my husband and I with a ton of questions. All of the doctors were happy to answer our laundry list of questions and never made us feel like anything was silly to ask (something I personally worried about as a first-time mom). They really set us up for success with realistic expectations and told us everything we needed to prepare for.We knew there was no doctor wed prefer over the other for the actual labor, everyone is really fantastic and listened to what we wanted. I would refer anyone pregnant and in driving distance to head right over to Concord OBGYN!My husband was pleased with how the doctors and nurses made him feel when attending all appointments. They were respectful and made him feel like he was just as much a part of the pregnancy too as at times some people really just treat the mom as the priority. It should also be mentioned that their office staff is STELLAR. These ladies are so quick to respond to messages, dont leave you on hold too long (we all know offices have busy times of day!) and are incredibly friendly. They are wonderful working with you to schedule appointments for your convenience and seem genuinely happy to see you when you arrive.
This is the most personable and caring doctors office I have ever been to! They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and take time to answer all your questions. I have recommended this place to my mom, sister and all my friends and everyone agrees. Dr. Thomas gets to know you on a personal level and all the nurse practitioners are both amazing at their job and wonderful to talk to!
Between my pregnancy in 2020 and recent care in the last few weeks, I am so incredibly happy with Concord Obgyn. Everyone I have come in contact with, between nurses, NPs, and doctors, have all been amazing and professional. Everyone is so personable and truly helpful. I never felt like my concerns were brushed to the side, I’ve also always felt comfortable asking questions and speaking up. Special shoutout to Nurse Practioner Rachel Ward for being so helpful with my recent issue and making me feel so at ease! Highly recommend this office for pregnancy as well as everything else!
I really love this place! It’s my first time pregnant and I didn’t know what to expect from an OB. I have been having a great experience here for the past 5 months. They always answer my calls quickly when I have a question and the doctors and midwives are great.
I was a high risk pregnancy, as my first child was a 40 week unexplained stillbirth. delivered with another facility. The care I received here was amazing. I loved the nps, and was followed by Dr. Thomas. She was amazing. Highly recommend.
This place is absolutely horrible. I went to get checked at 34 weeks to see if I was in preterm labor and they monitored me and I had 3 contractions within an hour so they sent me home saying I was fine and they were just Braxton Hicks. Later that day I delivered my son in Boston. Since I wasn’t a patient before delivery they needed all my records from Emerson which Emerson didn’t bother to send until 4 days later. The staff there is horrible and do not care if you feel comfortable or not. The entire time I had appointments there I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable. The doctors do not make you feel welcome and try to rush you out as soon as possible with barely explaining things to you. When you ask them questions they act bothered by you. They aren’t there to help you, they’re there to get paid. I also made it VERY clear at my first appointment that I would only be comfortable with a girl doctor and they disregarded that entirely. Almost all of my appointments the doctor was a guy.
Dr. Rubin and the staff at Concord OB/GYN are exceptional. I highly recommend him specifically because of his level of care and his expertise.
The doctors at this practice are fantastic. Dr. Thomas is amazing. I couldnt recommend her more. Most of the nurses are also great, however I have had some negative experiences with a few. Ive unknowingly called close to closing for test results, and the nurse was quick with me. When I asked what the results meant since they werent what I was expecting, she responded that theyre closing so Id have to call back. I feel like they probably shouldnt have answered if they already had their foot out the door, or they should have told me to call back the next day without giving me results that left me with questions.
Hands down, the best OBGYN in the area. The staff are so friendly, they take care of your concerns, and are very reassuring. The staff may not know you, but they act like they have known you for years, they treat you as if you’re family. The physicians - amazing! Best delivery and care I’ve ever had. Skilled physicians with great communication. You don’t feel like “you’re just another patient,” when you get seen, you’re their only patient and they never seem rushed. When you call the nurse advice line they take your concerns or questions seriously and provide great support through a phone call. The office is clean ans inviting. Even during COVID, the staff/physicians have done great with making you feel protected. Would always recommend Concord OBGYN over any other practice.
I made an appointment for fertility counseling and insulin resistance management. I went to the appointment, paid my co-pay, and I was walked into a room and told that they do not offer the service. I complained that they wasted my time and money, and I did not even receive a refund. They were unsympathetic and uncaring towards my situation. I do not recommend.
Ive been going to this practice for about 4 years now, and I have always had a pleasant experience. I absolutely love Dr. Rubin and Dr. Travias, they are seriously so kind, with the best bed side manner and always answer all and any questions. My first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage, and Dr. Travias was so reassuring about the whole experience. I have since had two successful pregnancies, and both times, I felt taken care of, they really listen to my needs and what I want out of my pregnancy and post partum care. I highly recommend them!
I would not recommend this practice for women of a certain age. My impression is that while all personal are very friendly and most of the time helpful, the professionals are focus only in pregnant and young women and do not have the skills and/or willingness to provide comfort and services to postmenopausal women. I had an ultrasound which was very uncomfortable and left me with serious burning and stinging pain for hours. The technician was young and unexperienced and while I was complaining of pain during the ultrasound she was saying: I know-it hurts. No she does not have a clue. It took about 2 weeks for me to get close to the comfort level I had before UT and treatment. I would not normally follow with a review but I changed my mind when I mentioned to my doctor in the same practice and she replied to me that my discomfort was created by me being older not the technician poor technique . Seriously? Would not that be a factor to pay more attention and try to not create pain? I understand that she tried to protect her coworker while I was trying to give feedback so other women to not have to go thru the same pain. However, I found out sadly that is a big void out there for providing decent services for older women.
I delivered all 3 of my babies with Concord OBGYN , and I couldn’t be happier with our care. I gladly traveled an hour to my appointments with my last two children to receive their care after we moved to NH. They are wonderful!
This practice lacks serious bedside manners. The receptionists are all business and hardly ever smile and barely even register your presence. That should be your first line of defense. Several of the revolving door doctors also appear completely miserable and are always in a great hurry or rush to get you in and out like chattel. For a clinic dealing with pregnancies and crises, this clinic should be a place where you feel safe and welcome versus feeling cold, sterile (not in a good way) and isolated. The only thing that I can think of regarding this toxic atmosphere is that upper management is struggling with finances or are too cheap to hire on additional staff because all of the people there appear highly stressed-out and always in a hurry. Ive seen this before and when a large amount of staff appear unhappy, it usually comes down from the top, wages, or someone else thats making everyone miserable. This toxicity needs to be corrected before it spirals out of control and thats why Im hoping someone there reads this review.Whomever is in charge needs to talk to their staff or at least put out an anonymous suggestion box for staff and customers to try to improve their practice. Otherwise management or the unhappy staff should find new jobs, preferably one that doesnt ever have to deal with people or managing them.Last but not least, management needs to seriously think about improving their old school scheduling system. We experienced a couple of issues with appointments that were supposed to be made across the street with Emerson and the person responsible for it did not get back to us.
Dr Travias has the greatest attitude and a very helpful staff.
Everyone was kind, professional and efficient with time. 10/10 would recommend
I generally dont take the time to write online reviews. However, my experience today with Concord OB/GYN has led me to want to do so. I live 30 minutes from the office and had not been there in about 2yrs. Im not very familiar with the area where their office is. My GPS led me to the building next door and after searching there and realizing I was in the wrong place.....I tried to go off my memory and look across the street near the hospital. When didnt work, I tried my GPS again which then took me on a ride through a neighborhood behind the hospital. As Im trying to find this office, Im trying to search in my phone for their phone number. My appointment was 11:30am and by 11:36am, I was finally was able to call and let them know I was terribly lost. The front desk advised me that their office was behind CareOne, so I was then able to more easily find it. She also told me that they have a 15 minute late policy, and if I wasnt there by 11:45am, they would need to reschedule. I pulled into their lot at 11:42am. Rushed inside and stood there while I waited for the front desk staff to get off the phone . She asked me the routine questions and said she needed to check to see if they would still see me. She came back and told me that because I was there only seconds before 15 minutes was up that I would need to reschedule. I truly value a doctors time, I was doing everything I could to find their office. I was in fact there within their 15 minute rules. Yes, I was late and that is not their fault. But, the way I was spoken to and treated was simply uncalled for and rude.
If I were to give zero review, I would. Dr. Jamie bond do not go to her. She’s terrible, only walks into the appointment for five minute, will not answer any of your questions, and then walk out on you. Plus she’s racist towards people of color.
I had a horrible experience at the Concord OBGYN. 0/10 wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Especially young girls, I felt constantly pressured to use male doctors although I wasnt comfortable with it. I finally agreed to use a male doctor because I needed medical attention. Dr. Travias is very unreliable. I was unable to ever get information from him despite the fact he would prescribe me medications and never follow up. Very disappointed. If you are looking for an OBGYN in the area, I highly recommend About Women By Women in Wellesley MA! Unlike Concord OBGYN you are able to get an appointment quickly and the clinic representatives are accommodating and understanding.
Receptionist was rude and passive aggressive, iud insertion was incorrect and done horribly. Its not fair to pay an outstanding balance for a failed service done by a health care provider. I will be disputing with my insurance and switching to another OBGYN. 0/10 do not recommend this place. If youre a patient here, run.
I switched to this practice to deliver my 2nd child after having a traumatic experience at Newton Wellesley Hospital when I birthed my first child. (Loved my old OB/GYN, but she could only deliver at NWH and my main issues were with the hospital birthing center). Concord OB/GYN was wonderful. All the doctors were very patient & reassuring when I expressed my concerns about the issues I had with my first birth. I had a complication with my pregnancy that Dr. Rubin was familiar with so many of my appointments were with him and hes FANTASTIC! He was there to deliver my second child and I cannot say enough about him and Emerson Hospital birthing center!
Dr. Travias is amazing, he takes the time to listen and I never feel rushed. He’s extremely empathetic and was able to guide me through my options for care.Highly recommend !
I wanted to like this practice. I know many people who rave about them. Perhaps they are wonderful if you are pregnant but if you require any other kind of Gyn care, my experience was that they could not have cared less. I felt rushed during my appointment and was even told we have pregnant women waiting. When I complained of pelvic pain I was dismissed and told Well, we could give you a hysterectomy. When I said fine! the Dr. rolled his eyes and said Im not going to do that, youre aging, pain is normal. (Im in my late 30s) I have seen every Dr. in the practice and each gave varying degrees of dismissiveness and absolute refusal to run an ultrasound. One even threw an IUD brochure at me and told me to come back when I was willing to listen to reason. (I wanted an answer for the pain, not just jump to meds) Fast forward to a different practice who LISTENED to me. Ultrasound showed a problem that had likely been there for some time and was increasingly getting worse. I am relieved to now have an MD that listens and doesnt treat me as though Im an annoyance or crazy. I am beyond angry that this practice treats patients this way. I never wanted to see an OBGYN again after my experience with them. The fact that they missed a diagnosis because for whatever reason had decided there was nothing wrong with me without even looking, is just bad medicine.
I had a horrible experience in this practice. They misdiagnosed a simple miscarriage and interpreted that as an ectopic. They had issues with reading my ultrasound and had to consult with their affiliated hospital, Brigham, which took several hours. No clear answers after all, other than saying I was having a very uncommon ectopic pregnancy which is life threatening and could end up to histerectomy.I rushed to MGH and was diagnosed with a regular miscarriage.Unfortunately this practice is in network with Harvard vanguard which urges patients to go there.
Helpful, informativ, pleasant, liked her a lot.
I had a great experience at Concord OB/GYN. From the moment I entered I was treated with respect and kindness, and everything was explained clearly my questions were answered without making me feel at all silly for asking. I highly recommend!
I do not like Dr bond as I know a few people who dont like her and when I was in labor with my first and only child she asked if it could wait like really ,also has been rude to me and my husband numerous times and dont appreciate her attitude mind you this was 2014 this doesnt make it any less okay to be treated poorly
Christina is a caring amazing doctor!
Prompt service, very welcoming and caring staff
Dr. Travias and the team are the best.
I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Goel - she was professional, thorough and fun to talk to. My visit was perimenopause related - not pregnancy - I will definitely go back.
Dr Thomas is caring, attentive & professional!
Great doctor, knowledgeable, helpful, listens.
Amazing! I’m in love with her
Very professional. Minimal waiting time.
Spends time to discuss. Personable and approachable.
My last experience was the worst possible they have changed a lot in 5 years i definitely do not recommend anyone else! they dont make it easy or try to help to make it easier and when you ask for the records to change doctors then everything becomes more difficult, completely disappointed!!!!
Excellent provider. Attentive. Professional.
Whenever Im there they are always very helpful. Gave me all the information I needed to get out of a difficult situation. They are the best doctors I have ever been to! Give them a call all lovely people!
Their billing system is hopelessly incompetent. Were on our 5th appointment and they still forget to bill insurance and send us the full amount. Once is carelessness, five is... systematic fraud? Who could say.
This office is excellent! Holly West (nurse practitioner) is so thorough, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind.
Doctor Rubin is the best and everyone in the office and the nurses at Emerson all say the same thing We love Dr. Rubin. I highly recommend Doctor Rubin.
I absolutely love this practice had 3 of my 4 children with them. Caring and loving environment. I continue to go and have my ob check-up here.
Top notch providers and kind, supportive staff
Very pleasant and helpful.
They continually bill you even after you’ve paid it. do not give these people service they’re horrible. They deserve 0 business.
Informative, patient and caring.
Unfortunately was not very happy with the patient care at this office. Switching offices due to the quality of customer service and patient support.
Dismissive staff when you have legitimate concerns. I found out a month later I had a parasite and they told me I had a rash from soap.
Great experience!
Easy and Reassuring.
EXCELLENT TREATMENT
So kind, didn’t make me feel like she was rushing to the next patient. I appreciated her calm demeanor as well
The best! I am always confident in what Dr Thomas says. I never feel rushed or put into a category but seen as an individual. She has a wonderful welcoming and kind personality
