I have been going to the Group (even before they became the Group) for nearly 50 years (yes, I am an old lady). Yesterday when I tried to make an appointment for my yearly exam, the receptionist told me I was due in May. I NEVER received any such notification for the scheduling of an appointment as in the past, I always received reminders. So, as a result, the earliest I could schedule an appointment is March 2025. This is very disheartening considering I have been an established patient who had five pregnancies and journeyed through breast cancer with the Group.Thank you Ashley for taking the time to respond to my review. I am very appreciative that my concern was addressed, and now I have an appointment this month.
Everyone here is so kind and professional. I have a phobia of needles and Monica is AWESOME. The Staff, literally all Ive had the pleasure of speaking with makes this woman experience and the things we have to do for our reproductive health and wellness a more pleasant experience. The environment is very modern, upscale, and clean. The nurse practitioner is so kind. She really cares and is super down to earth. Everyone here is exceptional. Five Stars
Cannot say enough praise about The Group. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable for an uncomfortable out-patient procedure. Dr. Hinshaw, Emily & Kim were phenomenal!
Dr. Naylor is absolutely the worst doctor I have ever seen in any healthcare facility. About 3 years ago before I moved I had went in the get my IUD removed as it had been the 5 years. He was NOT my normal doctor but they told me he would be the one doing my procedure. The week prior 4 nurses had tried getting my IUD out and were unsuccessful due to my strings being too short, but they were extremely emphatic and understanding. Unlike Dr. Naylor. The day I went in I was extremely nervous and in pain due to my last appointment where I left bleeding horribly due to the scrapping of the utensils they used and ended up being told I needed an ultrasound to now find and get the IUD out. When I say this “man” DOCTOR NAYLOR was extremely unprofessional, apathetic, DISRESPECTFUL, and rude I could go on. I was in tears in the office as well as leaving; he asked me why I was even there when my IUD was NOW good for 7 years but when I got it put in, in 2017, they told me 5 years so there I was listening to what my last doctor had told me. He was condescending towards me with why I would even want a new one and kept questioning why I was there, then proceeded to belittle me and my opinion as well as my last doctors information. I had let him know I was moving and wouldn’t have the time to find a new doctor right as I moved and he told me word for word “good thing you’re moving I hope to never see you again” which had me DUMBFOUNDED. I could not believe this man is a doctor for WOMEN AND CHILDREN. He does not deserve to be around either.
Dr. Naylor was horribly unprofessional and unprepared. My wife and I were told that Naylor was on his way out, but had time to speak with us. He was unable to deliver information in a competent manner nor show an ounce of empathy. I had to ask him to put his phone away after he pulled it out for the second time. Embarrassingly poor performance.
I have been going to the group for many many years. I Absolutely love the staff and doctors. However, I am behind disgusted by the treatment I have received the last month. I had a procedure done over the summer and after my insurance paid, I owed $500. Times are tough and I set up a payment plan through the group. They automatically take out an amount each month until the $500 is paid. I am having some issues that are pretty urgent and need to be addressed and I have been told that they refuse to see me until the $500 is paid off. I have NeVER heard of a doctors office doing this! So now I have to give up the doc I live there, go to my family practitioner, and get a referral from her so I can be seen. This is not how patients should be treated! I am shocked.
Grateful for the care we received during my pregnancy it was a much better experience than I got with my old doctors office for my first baby! We are also grateful for the amazing job doctor kaiser did delivering our sweet boy via Csection! We will definitely be recommending the group to our friends and family!!
I have been going to The Group for over 20 years. Prior to their move into their new building they were a highly functioning and very exceptional OBGYM facility and the best in the QCA. Everyone wanted to be cared for by a Dr or Midwife from The Group. There are still a few highly experienced and newer qualified doctors delivering exceptional care however my experience in late 2022 and into early 2023 is terrifying and unacceptable. From the fall of 2022 through Jan 2023 I saw 3 different drs for the same issue. What was ultimately diagnosed as a fibroid that needed removal I was assigned a surgeon who saw me 1x prior to my surgery. She entered our meeting with no laptop. She proceeded to draw picture of the fibroid and its placement and size. I had had labs done which showed I was extremely anemic and this was not resolved prior to surgery or discussed during this meeting. During surgery, under guided ultrasound, she punctured my uterus. Undiagnosed for almost 6 hours as I bled internally and experienced critical levels of oxygen and low blood pressure nothing was done. I was airlifted from Genesis to UIHC for emergency repair. This doctor is still employed! and caring! for patients and performing surgeries! No accountability has been taken for her surgical errors and she is being protected by a very questionable insurance company. I continue to experience horrible health problems all because of her.Clearly The Group and their admin has chosen not to respond with their normal generic response to call their office manager. That says so much.
I always see Mary Johnson for my annual pap and shes the best Ive ever been to. No one looks forward to a pap, but Mary is so good at making you feel comfortable. Shes so personable and genuine. We chat and its over in the blink of an eye. Ill always choose her whenever I can!
If you are looking for friendly office staff or caring and thorough Healthcare this is not the place to go. I have over heard office staff talking negatively about me, I have had the wrong medication subscribed to me, and when I simply need an rx change or refill I have had to call multiple times in addition to the pharmacy trying to reach out. Horrible experience.
All the ladies that worked with me prior to and during my appointment were amazing. Super friendly, warm, and welcoming. The facility is modern and clean, and I felt at ease with my visit. They also tried to get as many services for me as I needed during my initial visit so that I wouldn’t need to come back. Everything I said was listened to, and they made sure my concerns were taken care of. I’m thankful I gave this place a chance - I feel like I can rely on them for my womanly needs!
I really like the group. I really like the midwife’s and nurses. They all are such great people. My experience at the group has been amazing
The group is an amazing place highly recommend!!!
Was super happy with my care that I received from the Midwives at The Group.. a wonderful, caring group of ladies that made me feel comfortable. Giving birth to your first can be a scary thought but I had the best support from them!
I have an issue that I needed taken care of in a short amount of time and everyone at this practice worked hard to get me in! The entire staff is friendly, caring and helpful. Dr. Barclay is friendly and knowledgeable and took plenty of time to explain things and made sure I was informed and comfortable with my options of treatment. They even squeezed me in for an ultrasound that day so I wouldnt have to make a second trip. I highly recommend this group!
I was nervous to go somewhere new after my doctor moved out of state but a referral from my PCP was made here with the assurance that Id have a good experience. My only complaint was that I had an unusually long wait (almost an hour) and wasnt offered am explanation as to why. Whether it was a fluke and I was forgotten somehow or the doctor was running very behind, didnt really matter to me. My feedback there is simply that I would have liked to know what happened. I was assisted by very helpful staff in every area of my visit, though. The women working at the front desk were friendly, patient, and efficient. The nurse who ended up doing my intake was very apologetic for my wait and did put me at ease right away when she helped me. My new Doctors (Barclay) nurse was very friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding, not to mention professional. And Dr Barclay was, as everyone had told me, just great. She listened to all my worries and answered all my questions in a caring and professional manner. She was thorough with taking my background and offered me several options in monitoring my health issue, explaining them to me between the least and the most invasive what the benefits and risks would be. So far I am overall very pleased with changing to The Group and would recommend them. Aside from the staff, the building is beautiful and welcoming-looking. Its decorated in a modern way that looks very polished. And they have a nice little childrens area for any little ones along for visits which I wouldve appreciated a lot when my child was younger.
Mary my nurse practitioner today was the absolute best, she is definitely someone I recommend to everyone. She is very caring, understanding & genuine. Thank you Mary we appreciate you!!
The Group is incredibly dangerous for a birth. Clinically, there is only 1 competent OB of 7 (and it is chance if you get her). They have a very high rate of error (unnecessary c-sections, episiotomies, infection, etc). The Drs will not remember you as you see a different person everytime. What was your name again? Apparently, they dont take good notes for the chart. I work in surgery at Genesis and we all know several of those OBs are dangerous. I certainly underestimated the warnings of my colleagues. The billing department refuses to send me itemized statements with dates of service and charges. I have overpaid them and they are still refusing to show me total charges, payment received, etc so I cant even check to make sure insurance has processed this properly. They have sent me confirmation of payments received separately but do not apply them to my bill. What a terrible company. Do not give birth with these people. Please listen to my and others testimonies. It could save your life and the life of your child.
I highly recommend The Group for anyone in need during their pregnancy. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia and was very well cared for and I received great care. All the doctors were great and always answers all my questions. Special thanks to Dr Kaiser & Dr. Heinshaw for bringing my sweet baby boy into the world, and keeping me safe during the delivery.
When I was younger and got my first examination, I was so nervous. The woman who was examining me, Kristi, made me feel comfortable and eased my nerves so much. As someone with social anxiety, this is very important to me. I just got a procedure done today, and she kept me calm and kept her cheerful attitude. She is very nice and cheerful with a mood that will make you feel better, no matter how bad of a day youre having or how nervous you are.Another thing, the front desk ladies are always very kind and helpful. The staff are also polite and really friendly. All appointments Ive had were swift and I was in and out of there within 20-ish minutes. I highly recommend this place!
Awesome practice, I recently moved back to the area and have not had the best of luck with establishing new physicians in the area so when it came to a new OBGYN I was not looking forward to it. However, The Group exceeded all my expectations. I was able to get an appointment within two weeks from the time I first called. We did the majority of the questions/medical history ahead of time. Check in was a breeze. The facility is very nice, new, modern and set up in a very inviting way. I had an appointment in the middle of the day (which I was sure would drag out my wait time and take forever) I waited maybe five minutes to be seen. Once I was back in my room it was maybe another five minute before the PA was in my room ready to go. Lets be honest no one enjoys their annual lady visit but Kristi was awesome. She has a very inviting personality which made the visit completely comfortable. When I scheduled the appointment they noted one of the reasons I was there incorrectly and when I informed them why I was there instead they were able to switch gears without hesitation. Answered every question I had, I didnt feel rushed at all. We decided to run some labs during my visit and I was literally able to walk out of my patient room into the lab chair and have my blood drawn. My entire visit took 40 minutes from the time I pulled into the parking lot to the time I was back in my car!
I have been going to the group for about 10 years since I started on birth control in high school. My midwife Trisha is the best. The reason for only giving 2 stars stems from fertility issues. I was told I had to see a specific doctor for fertility stuff which is fine. However he was in the room for maybe 2 minutes and didnt explain anything gave me a paper with steps to follow on it and 2 lab orders. The schedule is very strict and I live 45 minutes away so I called to get an ultrasound order sent to the town where I live so I didnt have to take 3 hours out of my work day to go to the group. Was told they dont outsource that type of thing and that I had to see him after the appt anyway for results which was not communicated before. I asked the nurse to check with him about sending it and waiting for results til my appt 2 weeks later its been over a week now and havent gotten a call back. Just seems like they want the money of doing the services there as opposed to making it more convenient for me to do it where I live.
I was a little nervous when I went to my appointment. The nurse and Dr. Day were very calming and so nice. Dr. Day was very gentle and caring and explained what I had, how to take care of it with the prescription she ordered for me. She also gave me several good suggestions for me to lose weight...overall very nice experience at The Group from walking in to walking out. Thank you 😊 all!!
I’m 20 years old and was diagnosed with endometriosis the other day… no thanks to the The Group who I’ve been going to since puberty. I’ve been coming to them with my concerns for YEARS only for them to try and gaslight me into thinking it was nothing because of my age. Absolutely don’t go here especially if you’re young. Theyre uneducated, outdated and sometimes rude.
Been going there for years, and they refused to schedule an appointment for me today because I have an account balance, on autopay being drafted every month. I have an extensive history of cancer in my family, and last year they refused to perform pap smear because it is recommended every 5 years or something like that and I was not due yet, so apparently cancer is on the schedule and it will not get me in between those tests. Now they wont see me due to a $100 balance on my account. Money comes first I guess. This is not the first time I am having an issue with them. Sometime last year I went to see one for their drs (cannot remember her name because of course it was like a fifth dr that saw me there which is also something I hate about that place) because I had a cyst starting to form, and she did not do anything with it, she just looked at it, confirmed it was forming and sent me home until it became so big they had to lance it, and that is why I had that huge bill in the first place, because the first dr I saw there sent me home without doing anything about the cyst at the stage when all that could have been prevented. Now, due to the first drs negligence, I ended up with a bill that I have been paying off and they still refuse to see me due to account balance. Looks like I will have to go get my life saving preventive care somewhere else.
I LOVE The Group and every person I have encountered....just like any place, you will have your favorite people/staff but everyone has always been very professional and caring towards me.I have had 2 less than ideal pregnancies and I fully credit The Group for taking the best care of us. They were on top of my medical care and I credit them with the great outcome we had with our premature child.Regarding wait times: Having to wait for an appointment is an unfortunate occurrence in any medical office....I have had to wait but when my appointment comes around I dont ever feel rushed. They still give me their full attention when they are with me in the room and I appreciate that.I feel that some of these reviews have been written in a slightly unfair manner and I truly hope that they dont deter anyone from at least checking out The Group.
I have been going to the group for several years and have seen my share of doctors there. I love the new facility. I love the doctor I now see. Dr. Steines is patient and informative. She really takes her time and cares for her patients. Her nurse Emily is the best. I had the absolute best visit of all time with them both when I was there and hope that The Group continues to strive for patient satisfaction as they have a really good staff.
From the time I walked I felt at ease. I put off going because I just don’t think I need to but I do. The receptionist was friendly and helpful as was the intake worker. When I finished the paperwork my wait was just a few minutes. The nurse who took me back was great but most amazing is Dr. Aronson. She makes a uncomfortable situation actually great. She remembered me from years ago and that’s personal service that you just don’t see much of any more. She answered all my questions. Thank you so much for such a great experience.
Ive had a wonderful experience with the Dr.s at The Group! I had a chance to meet all of them prior to the birth of my first child, but really connected with two Dr.s whom I saw most often. Dr. Day especially did very well with my husband and I, explaining certain procedures, taking time to hear our concerns, and truly answer our questions. She ultimately delivering our son via a surprise C-section and was also very open to working with our birth doula.I have also been very impressed with the professionalism and caring nature of the nurses and techs in which I have come in contact with at The Group. In one example, a hand-full of staff even stayed after hours in order to assist with an in-office procedure for me.
While something unusual happened that made my wait time a little longer than normal, I very much felt comfortable with the doctor and felt she was attentive and really listened. Discussed options with me and was very informative. I look forward to seeing her again sometime.
I have been a patient at The Group for 2 years and feel like I have received great care. The facility is beautiful. Everyone from the receptionists to the nurses and doctors have always been so friendly and welcoming. I am now pregnant and know that I am getting the best care from great physicians. I recommend this office to all of my friends and family for their Ob/Gyn needs!
I love going here! Im on my 2nd child and chose to see the midwives with both my first and this pregnancy. All my questions always get answered and everyone is so friendly. They are considerate when doing ultrasounds and have asked me both times if Id like to know the gender or keep it a secret. Only negative thing I could say is that sometimes the wait is long because they get busy, but my midwife always apologizes for making me wait and I totally understand that they get busy.I recommend The Group to everyone and have several friends who also go there and love it too.
My experiences at the Group have always been phenomenal. I have 3 healthy children and prior to that suffered several miscarriages. All of the nurses and physicians have been sensitive to my needs and provided exceptional care during the most happiest times of my life as long as very difficult painful moments as well. I can’t imagine going anywhere than the Group!
This is a dangerous place to have a child. You will need to be your own advocate 100% of the way. You will absolutely be a number: everytime I went in, I was introducing myself. If you need to talk to anyone itll take DAYS for them to call you back. You absolutely cannot simply call to ask your physician a question.I had the midwives or desk girls lie to me specifically about getting an ultrasound outside of their facility and whether there is any difference between a midwife and an OBGYN ...of course there is and of course you can get an ultrasound anywhere with a script. As for the actual birth, I was highly pressured into a c section. If I had not had an outside doula and common sense, then I would have given in. I had a healthy boy vaginally with almost no intervention. At the hospital, one nurse lied about meds and protocols. The person who did my epidural missed twice. Thankfully, i was able to get an anesthesiologist to do it. My delivery OB, Dr Day, was amazing. Shes polite, listened to my needs and wants and gave me options to best meet those. Same with my delivery nurse. (As you might have guessed, I went through a few staffing shifts). There is at least one great OB but certainly not the whole group. You cannot choose your OB, it will be whoever is on call. Post partem nursing was terrible. The lactation counselor came in and made recommendations without asking me a thing. When i asked for help later, no lactation counselor showed up at all. I had to argue to even get a breast pump. The male nurse was challenging my husband his entire shift after my husband asked him to wait a moment while I covered myself after showering. They discharged my son in just a diaper as I had not brought any clothes for him prior to delivery. Some of the staff are kind, but it is VERY hit or miss. I would assume that is a result of poor nursing management and poor protocols at the hospital and the group facility. If you do decide to give birth here, spend the money on an outside doula to help you navigate the waters. You will not be informed or safe going alone here. They have a very high infection and complication rate when they do intervene (like a c section).
Chose the group due to great reviews online. I am new to the area and didnt have much to go off of. Had my annual, and some concerns, the doctor didnt really listen to any of them and just blew me off saying we will start with the pap and go from there. Had some abnormalities on was seen by a different doctor for testing. Had me come back in for an appointment 2 weeks later to review my results, he spent 2 minutes in the room, told me I would need another procedure and someone would call me to set it up to be completed in 1 to 2 weeks. A week later hadnt heard anything so I call. They schedule me over a month out. I am a nurse in a primary care office. If we ever treated patients that way I am afraid we would not have any. Looking into other options now for someone who will listen to myneeds. Nurses and receptionist are great hence the 2 stars.
Called to schedule an appointment for an urgent issue. Would be a new patient. Was told 3 weeks out. I explained that I need help pretty quickly (not necessarily same day) and explained the situation. The woman on the other end of the phone stated that I need to find an emergency room then and said goodbye. This place was recommended to me by 2 coworkers. I will be sure to let them know of my experience. No compassion and I work in a hospital.
Ive never had a negative experience at The Group! From annual exams, infertility treatment, birth of our son, and then treating complications after birth, the providers were amazing. Not once did we feel like a number. I commute over 2 hours to stay with The Group because Ive yet to find any other provider that comes close :)
Dr Day is the best doctor in the whole world!! She listens to every single concern you have, she does a thorough exam and talks through all of her findings to make sure you feel less concerned and know the next steps!! I also love that she always takes her patients’ preferences into treatment and care!! The Group is out of network for my insurance but I happily pay the additional expense to receive the quality, personalized care that Dr Day provides!! 💖💖
The Group always shows outstanding care for their patients. I was notified at the beginning of my appointment that they were running a bit behind but even so I was seen in a timely manor. I saw NP Mary Johnson and as always it was a pleasant experience.
I love coming here! Best decision Ive made for a gyno provider. I love the atmosphere and the staff are very nice:) its also easy to pay my bill and see my results off their online patient portal after my appointments. My doctor makes me feel like Im priority. She listens to all if my questions and concerns and never rushes our appointment. I plan on being a lifer here. I actually look forward to my appointments here.
NEGLIGENCE WOULD HAVE COST MY AND BABIES LIFE! Don’t have zero rating or else I would have given that. I had a very bad experience with the group gyno/obg. At start of second trimester they figured that my liver enzyme’s are elevated but instead of knowing the elevated enzymes they did not cared or showed critical care or responsibility to monitor it or so. At 24 week, in one of the appointments doctor Lyndsey J. Day sent me to genesis hospital for monitoring for other issue and we are really thankful to her. At genesis my liver enzyme’s were so elevated that I had to deliver my baby at 24 week to save my baby and my life. Doctors took multiple blood test but did not care to share the results or monitor as I had elevated liver enzyme’s. The group’s doctors negligence would have cost my and my babies life. Worst experience and if anyone still wants to go there , be sure to ask your report and what is in your report because they don’t care about what our results show.
I started going to The Group when I was pregnant with my daughter 10 years ago. I chose a midwife to deliver my baby so I was sure to have 1 of the 3 wonderful midwives that I met throughout my pregnancy. I have continued to go to The Group for my birth control and yearly exam. All staff has always been nice and friendly. I particularly liked Pam Thorpe. She was very sweet. I would definitely recommend The Group to any woman as a quality ob & gyn.
I’ve gotta tell you, due to some horrible experiences dealing with my place in the 48 and no kids experience, I never found a place I quite “fit.” I didn’t feel taken seriously, loved or important. In walks Dr. H as I like to call her. I finally found someone who not only cares about what she does for women, but showed me in every way that she cares about me. This is a woman and a doctor on the scene to take note of. She is infectious, lovely and most importantly.. a Bears fan. I have never felt caring in that raw form from anyone but my mom ... until her. This isn’t a review about the Group, we all know it’s top notch, this is about the woman whose teleconference with me today made me feel warm, love and something I gave up on... Hope.
Ive been going the The Group for nearly 15 years. The midwife Beth delivered both of my children. She followed my birth plan to the letter and was just fantastic! Ive also had great experiences with the nurses that work with the midwives, if youre having any lady part health issues they WILL get to the bottom of it. My only compliant is that people without insurance only get a 30% discount when they pay cash same day and other doctor offices have a higher discount rate. I know insurance companies are paying less than 70% of their bill.
Midwife Melissa is amazing (they all are!) They take plenty of time to answer all my questions and make sure I’m comfortable with any decision we’re making. When giving birth to my daughter Melissa was encouraging and calm, and I felt so safe during the process with her.
Both of my daughters were delivered by midwives of The Group. I couldnt have asked for better support throughout my pregnancies and deliveries. Having suffered three miscarriages before, all the midwives took the time to make me feel comfortable and answer any questions or concerns I had. When it came time to deliver, I didnt care which midwife I had as I truly believe they are all amazing and will do a fantastic job. I always recommend The Group to any of family or friends that are expecting.
After my first terrible experience of having a child while doctoring with another clinic, I was so impressed with the staff. Everyone was very accommodating, professional, and actually tried to get to know me and my partner. They broke down each appointment and what would happen at each. I would recommend 100%!
To say that working with them is a nightmare is an understatement. They are unorganized, unprofessional, and incompetent. DO NOT risk the life of your baby or yourself by going to see them. Skip the step and go to Iowa City if you are high risk.
I went to The Group with my 2021 pregnancy. None of the providers made the experience personal. Didn’t remember my name, things I’d previously said, etc. when I went into labor I went to genesis with the group providers. They treated me differently then the other mothers, I’m not sure if it’s because my son was in the nicu and not in my room, the type of insurance I had, etc. they pushed pitocin and ultimately my labor ended with a csection. Dr. Naylor is the one who performed my csection. During my csection after they took my son out they gave me more medication to put me completely under. Without my consent. Making me miss my sons first moments and what could have been his last. (He had breathing problems from a tear in his lungs).During my time in the hospital I complained about how badly my incision hurt. They dismissed my concerns and sent me home. I’d shown the doctor blistering on the site and she said it was normal. They also guilted me and made me seem like I was being overly dramatic. After the 6 days they say to keep the bandage on, I removed it. The area was weeping and covered in blisters. I called the group and they said to go back to the er. Where they proceeded to cut it back open completely. While cutting it open the doctor removed 3 staples that were in my muscle layer. Explaining the stabbing feeling that I had been telling the doctors about. Leave me with it open while they left for 30 minutes. Then told me I’d need to see the genesis wound clinic to let it heal from the inside out.The wound clinic put a wound vac on it. The Group was responsible for pain management. They would prescribe me 10 pills at a time and tell me to only take it during wound vac changes. (That did nothing to help with that pain) then Dr Hinshaw said I needed to come in to be reevaluated before she’d prescribe anything else. Because walking around with a 6 inch hole isn’t going to hurt. When Dr Naylor got back from vacation I confronted him with what happened with my csection and he denied all wrong doing. Not even a simple apology. His words were I’ve been doing this for years and I’ve never had that happen. My wound dehiscence was there in the hospital. Because of what happened in that OR. I still have ptsd from my birth experience because of the care provided to me by the group and genesis.
The Group has a multitude of physicians and nurse practitioners to choose from. I feel blessed to have Dr Kaiser as my physician. My appointment was scheduled for 3:20 and I was taken into my room on time. Dr Kaiser answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable during my pelvic exam. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Kaiser to anyone looking for a great OBGYN.
I went to the group in 2019 for my first pregnancy with my daughter. Everything was going all fine until I hit 34 weeks and had developed severe preeclampsia. I give 2 stars not because the doctors and midwives were not great because that’s not the case they were wonderful but what I didn’t like was their protocols. I feel as if a urine sample should be taken each and every time and blood work up every so often. I’m 30 weeks with my son and go to trinity in Bettendorf they take a urine sample each time to make sure i’m not developing high amounts of protein and blood work up is done every so often to check my platelets/functions. Just because someone isn’t considered High risk doesn’t mean actions shouldn’t be taken as if they were high risk. I wasn’t considered high risk when I was pregnant with my daughter but what do you know I still developed pre-e like any pregnant women can. So that being said bigger measures should be set in place to monitor these severities to catch them earlier on.
Staff always makes me feel comfortable and understood!
UPDATE:::They called me and asked me if the Doctor said Fat like came out and called me Fat. No she didnt. However she did say Instead of eating 4 slices of Pizza just eat one Watch what you eat and drink. She just kept repeating herself. So no she didnt say Youre fat but she kept implying it.They also asked me to Detele this review so People didnt think the Doctor goes around calling People fat. But I never mentioned which Doctor said this, so hows that possible? When I didnt delete it after they called. About a week later I was sent a letter saying We are withdrawing from your care due to the breakdown in Doctor/Patient RelationshipEver since this appointment Ive had Severe food aversions. She really screwed with my head.So thanks for that.Maybe thatll help me loose weight.🖕✌️Been going here for 8+ years. Loved it. Now Im switching to a Obgyn closer to home, because at my most recent appointment 2/4/22, the Doctor called me fat at least 10x. Like I didnt know Im fat. Told me to stop breastfeeding my daughter. I wasnt there for my weight or breastfeeding advice. I was there for unexplained pelvic pain and absent periods.Avoid this place if you dont want to be fat shamed.
Very skillful group of practitioners who make you feel as if they genuinely care about best outcomes. Facility itself is very welcoming, modern, and comfortable. Office staff helpful and polite. Attentiveness during office hours and on-call satisfied all of our concerns and needs. We have been very satisfied with our selection of obstetrical providers.
I am now on my third pregnancy, all with care through the physicians at The Group. Even though it is a large group, the care still feels personalized, and I have been very pleased with all my care. The convenience of all the testing right at the office is great. Would definitely recommend The Group!
I love to this facility office. All the Dr, midwifes have a lot experience. Any questions I ask they inform answer really clearly and make you comfortable. All the nurses there really friendly, bathroom really clean. I have 2 children but for both pregnancies I went to OBGYN both time. Will definitely recommended THE GROUP for anyone I know. Best of best!
I started going here when I first found out I was pregnant. The receptionists, nurses & midwives were all wonderful. I was always seen within 10 mins of my appointment date. The nurses would return my calls within the hour if I had a pregnancy question. The midwives were all very supportive in my decisions to remain active & deliver naturally. Trisha delivered our baby & used the spinning baby techniques to help move baby out. My only complaint is I wish I could make a payment online on my account.
I had a very poor experience seeing an NP (JoAnn Neilson) at The Group in Davenport. This was my first visit at The Group and I had some concerns about the exams that I voiced to both the tech and NP when I arrived. The tech was kind and thoughtful, but the NP was dismissive of my concerns, even while I was in tears. I repeated my concerns more than once and was met with answers that did not pertain to my situation, or a dismissal that many people dislike the exams without acknowledging my situation. Ultimately the exams were not possible and I was blamed for being too anxious to have them done. While I was certainly anxious, my situation was never taken into consideration and I was not listened to or accommodated. I was given no information about my situation or guidance on what I should do going forward, aside from a product I can purchase that may help. I am very appreciative of that information, and take that as a positive from my experience. I found the NP to be very friendly, however she did not listen. Overall, I left feeling defeated, dismissed and traumatized and am very disappointed with the care I received.
I had a wonderful experience with the midwives for the birth of our 2nd child. After a relatively traumatic delivery with our 1st (with another Dr, in another state), I felt like my own well-being was considered this time too, not just babys. The midwife Pam was truly amazing for me at delivery. So much support and encouragement. Ill be forever grateful.
I saw Dr Jennifer Steines and was very happy with her. She explained my condition and options very well. She gave me a sheet of written instructions and where to purchase necessary items. Her nurse was equally good and was professional but personable. I really appreciate their care for me I give them high recommendations
I loved everything about my experience with The Group. The midwives were awesome, the prenatal yoga offered created such a great atmosphere for pregnant mommas. I cant wait for my next pregnancy so I can get back to The Group more often :-)
Im shocked at the low grade they have received. Im so impressed with this place! As soon as you walk in they make you feel welcome any questions Ive had have been answered as long as Ive asked. What i love more is everytime Ive had a personal woman issue they call me back right away with a solution. The midwives are amazing as well i delivered my second child and will be delivering my 3rd with them.
Great-Dr. Barkley is very understanding and is always aware when a patient is concerned she is concerned as well. It gives me comfort to know that Dr. Barkey cares for her patients. Great upfront staff. I got lost due to construction and not being familiar with Davenport and the receptionist help me several times. I was also about 25 minutes late and Dr. Barkey still attended to me. I did have a bit of a wait but I cant complain. The Group is a plus 5.
Ive been going to the Group since I was pregnant with my first daughter 20 years ago. They are very professional, friendly and talk to you on a personal level. I now have 2 of my 3 daughters going there for female problems as teenagers. They have been very knowledgable and helpful in that area as well as for my pregnancies. I would recommend them to anyone!
I have gone to this group for years and I love them!!! They are so professional, friendly, and accommodating. They are great listeners and truely care for their patients. My practitioner has even given me her cell phone number in case I have any worries or questions. When I have called she has always been available or has gotten back to me within the same day. I would highly recommend this place to for anyones pregnancy or gynecology care.
This place is a mess. Very unorganized, minimum 20 minute wait when we come in for a scheduled appointment. We waited in the waiting room for almost an hour once and we finally went up to the front desk and asked what was going on, and they told us that they forgot to check us in!Dont even bother with the midwives. They dont know what theyre doing. I was under the impression that they were supposed to take a more natural approach. That is until one of them recommended my pregnant wife in her first trimester take Tylenol for her headache. One for the midwives also mis-diagnosed her for a condition that she didnt have and we found that out after an emergency room visit.A few nurses that answer the phone here act like they couldnt care less about you when you have a concern as stated in previous reviews. We are currently going through the doctors instead of the midwives after asking them what the difference is between the 2 at theyre location. They couldnt even answer that question which is why after the bad experience we opted to switch from the midwives to the doctors. The doctor arent much better by the way.The ultrasound tech was the worst weve ever had too. Very rude and rushed through the process. It seems that the only thing the people want to do here is collect their commission from writing prescriptions as well as your money and send you on your way with their careless attitude. Well definitely be keeping our eyes open for a different OB/GYN to go to for our next baby!Update: went in for my wife to get her blood taken and the nurse carelessly blew her vein and showed the least bit of concern
I have been going to the group since April 2016... First off Ive never felt welcome there with the doctors they are very emotionless and rude. I always asked to see the midwives and every appointment they say maybe next time ... I was tired of being lied to. Also every appointment they asked me the same questions about medical history ect... Really made me feel like they dont listen I mean hello look in your records ! so at 34 weeks I was thinking of transferring care and asked for them to release my medical records they called me 3 times asking if I wanted to cancel all appointment with them after I told them no please dont cancel Im not sure if the other place will take over my care being this far along ! It sucks that they are really the only choice around here as far as obgyn .
I’ve had two appointments there so far, and I am not impressed. I met with a nurse practitioner there who is nice and all, but I felt very rushed and I felt as though she didn’t listen to a word I said. I told her about a diagnosis that I had received a year earlier (with ultrasounds and lab work to prove it) and she insisted that they do their own lab work there. I thought, OK maybe this will help me get more answers. So I go in for a second appointment, I get an ultrasound done and blood drawn, then they have me wait in a room. I waited for 40 minutes, then I happened to check my watch right when the same nurse practitioner came in. She spent exactly 60 seconds with me (I checked my watch when she left) and only told me what I already knew and had told her at the previous appointment. So, now I have a $200 bill (after insurance) and nothing but frustration to show for it. I NEVER say bad things about doctors and healthcare workers because I get that their jobs are hard. But, don’t they take classes about how to treat patients and at least learn to pretend like they care? I’m paying for a service and I really feel like that deserves more than 60 seconds of your time....and why take more expensive tests and ultrasounds for no reason? I could have had my previous dr send them the ultrasounds they already did. Maybe if my condition had changed that might be a reason, but nothing has changed. So, I really feel ripped off...I might feel better if they had explained WHY they needdd to do more expensive testing but, again, 60 SECONDS.
All of the doctors were amazing. 24 hour on call nurse - which was one of my musts. My delivering doctor was Dr. Naylor. I can’t thank him enough for everything. I was scared, as I had the most complications with this pregnancy than my first. Baby’s heart beat dropped when I was in labor. Turns out the cord was wrapped around her neck. He and his team did a fantastic job. Saved my baby! When I recounted the story to the nurses afterwards, they all had nothing but great things to say about him. It’s a great sign when you have that kind of respect from your team.
I followed the doctor I have seen for over 17 years to the Group to never see her. Over the years they have given me the wrong medication when I miscarried then treated me like another cow in the annoying heard. They have a few fantastic doctors including Pinc and MaryAnn but does not make up for a few bad staff and mistakes. Today is my last straw as I have been through the ringer this year. I am 10 minutes late for my early morning appointment and the front desk was down right rude and I could hear her talking about me to other staff members because she thought I shouldnt be seen. I will be finding a new doctor after 17 years.
The receptionist was welcoming the nurses were amazing. But the doctor made my daughter feel a little uncomfortable shes young and he didnt take that into consideration. Im hoping for a better experience with the doctor next time.
This place is a joke.At my second appointment I was not checked in and waited for almost an hour before going and complaining to the receptionist. Then, I was seen by a student, because the midwife was too busy to see me (because I was never checked in) and the student did a way better job than any other midwife or doctor that Ive seen. These problems shouldve deterred us, but we decided to give them another chance.First, I started with the midwives and that was a complete waste of time - they act clueless and misdiagnosed me with an infection that I didnt have (which had to be confirmed by the ER.) Then, I switched to the doctors and most of them seem just as clueless and they are very rude. They will rush you into the room, do a QUICK exam of the babys heartbeat and measurements and rush out. My husband and I have been given different information at every appointment and most recently we asked to see a hand-held ultrasound of our baby to make sure that everything is going well and the doctor said that the machines were being used in other rooms and that we couldnt see him. Our appointment was about an hour long and she never checked to see if the machine was available before making that comment. At our 20 week ultrasound we had a horrible ultrasound technician - she was also rude and took HORRIBLE pictures of our baby. They give you a disk of images that they took during the ultrasound and our disk has 11 images and there are about 5 of them that are actually worth looking at.I have called many times to ask questions about test results and they will always take a message to give to a nurse, but be prepared to wait no less than 4 hours to recieve a call back from them (if you recieve one back at all). They expect you to spend all of your money on prenatal care, yet the care is awful. I have never felt important to them - Im just another number. I would HIGHLY recommend finding another place for your prenatal care.
I have been going to The Group for many years for regular gynecology care. I also returned to the doctors at The Group for my prenatal care after U of I released me during my pregnancy following IVF. I saw several doctors and had great experiences with them all. Every once in awhile, I had a longer wait time, but that was usually when I had end of the day appointments. I have long waits at my general practitioners office at that time of the day, too. Every nurse, doctor, nurse practitioner, and technician I have seen at The Group has been professional and caring. The doctors always took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, which to me, justifies the occasional long wait, because they were answering questions for their other patients, who might be scared or unsure about what is happening to them. I will continue going to The Group for check ups and should I find myself pregnant again in the future, I know I can count on the same, loving care I received the last time.
My experience with the group the last couple of years has been positive. Check in is fast and front staff professional and friendly. Mary is very friendly and easy to talk with. I feel the Group is very thorough with my care and answer my questions. Reminders of appointments and communication are very helpful.
My granddaughter went to the group with her second pregnancy. She was high risk but they treated her like it was no big deal. She told them from the beginning her first child was a difficult delivery. All along they kept telling her the baby was a big baby, and she is tiny. When she had this second baby they had a hard time getting the baby out. She should of had a c section and if they would of payed attention I’m sure they would have. They dismissed most everything all through her pregnancy like oh that’s normal.Very disappointed with the care she received. I would never recommend them.
This was my third visit and as always I felt very welcomed and appreciated the friendly, professional staff. I saw Kristi Bullock. She is also very professional, but also easy to talk to. She answered my questions and gave me very relevant information and conducted a thorough examination. I highly recommend her and The Group.
The wait time to be called back into a room was short. The ultrasound tech was very nice and explained everything well before she proceeded with the exam. The doctor was nice and explained what he was doing during the procedure and I was done with the visit in no time at all.
My first visit here and I was impressed. Everyone from the receptionist to the medical staff was warm and welcoming. Put me at ease immediately. All the time I needed was given and invited to ask questions even if I needed answers later. Oh and the building is beautiful
I was scheduled for a bone density test. Everyone I came into contact with was efficient and friendly. I didnt have to wait more than five minutes before or after the test. Mary spoke with me afterwards concerning my results and was particularly knowledgeable in explaining everything to me. All in all, a pleasant experience.
My son is active duty Navy. His wife, a veteran. His father retired Air Force, having served 3 deployments in Iraq. I too, am a veteran. My son and his beautiful pregnant wife will be returning to the Quad Cities at the end of September, to visit family. I called The Group to inquire about a 3D ultra sound, which my husband and I would pay for in cash. I explained to the scheduler, that my son was in the Navy, stationed in Virginia Beach. I asked if we could pay cash for a 3D ultrasound so we could have a gender reveal party while they were home, surrounded by family. The scheduler asked if she was a current patient. Um, no. (Theres just some things that cant be fixed) My request was denied because only current patients can receive such services. I called back and spoke with a 2nd person. Again explained the situation. Again turned down, because my sons wife who is going through her pregnancy while supporting her active duty husband, away from family, is not a current patient. We were not looking for a handout. Our only mission was to give some joy to this family who sacrifice SO MUCH to serve their country. Because of the sacrifices these families make, we in the USA have choices! Please choose wisely.
If you like being treated like a paycheck, Sarcastic Behavior, judgmental nurses, Rude doctors then this is the place for you. I got tired of being treated with so much disrespectful and them not take anything I say into account when this is my body and my pregnancy. I had to transfer as fast as I can.
After seeing a midwife earlier in the week previous to my scheduled appointment later in that week, I saw Dr Van Rybroek and I highly recommend her. She was very thorough, caring, and concerned of the symptoms I was having. She went above and beyond to help me prevent another high risk birth.
Everyone is kind and helpful. By far one of the best medical practices I’ve been to. Environment is very friendly and it is clear they have your best interests at heart! They are also very prompt and clear with scheduling appointments. Been here several times and every time I leave very happy and satisfied with the level of care I’ve received.
I found The Group when I first found out I was pregnant. It seemed ok, but I really didnt like the fact that I didnt have a specific doctor. I figured thats just the way it was so I didnt do anything about it. Right after my third trimester, I started getting bleeding and unbelievable pain and was in the emergency room 2 days in a row. The second day, the ER doctor said I was in the process of miscarrying. My fiance and I were devastated and we let our families know and they were upset as well. Following procedure, we made a follow-up appointment at The Group. They did another ultrasound and check-up and they told us I was not going to miscarry and they were adamant that ER got it wrong and said everything was in order. We were over joyed and told our family the good news. Later that evening I ended up miscarrying. Now I know that The Group was in no way responsible for that miscarriage, but that false hope they gave us was ridiculous. To be so sure that I was fine only 6 hours before I miscarried...and the fact that they couldnt see something the ER was able to detect scares me. I would think that a company that specializes in pregnancy would have even more insight than an ER. I will not be going back when we try again. Since this, I have heard so many bad things about this place that even furthers my conviction to find somewhere else.
Had the pleasure of seeing JoAnn yesterday for my OB needs! She was amazing, thorough, helped me through my procedure, talked me through it! Best experience so far! Staff was amazing too!
The Group is such a friendly place for all your womanly needs. When pregnant, I see the midwives and theyre absolutely amazing! I recommend The Group to all my friends and family ♡Wonderful atmosphere right when you walk in.
I started the Weight Management Program in November 2016. I am down 60 lbs and so close to my goal weight. I am so thankful that I took the leap to start the program! My team, Rachel, Taylor, and Ally, are so awesome. They have helped me stay are track and keep me motivated. I know this is a change I can stick with forever. I cant thank them enough.
I used the group since I had my first child. Its a beautiful facility with caring and professional practictioners. When my insurance company gave me grief, the billing people stepped in and handled it swiftly and professionally so I didnt have to. I am very grateful for their services.
I chose the Group because they specialize in high risk pregnancies and I had nothing but good experiences with them when I was pregnant with my first child in 2010. Yet this pregnancy at almost every appointment Ive been made to feel as if I am not wanted as a patient there. I feel like they are trying to force me to have my prenatal care transferred to Iowa City (which I am strongly opposed to) soley because of my weight/bmi. It is very stressful and degrading to be told over and over and over again by a medical professional to transfer my care because their doctors dont like to work with patients with high bmis. I feel like Im being discriminated against because of my weight. They have even gone as far as to cancel appointments because they feel it would be a waste of their time and efforts to go ahead with the appointment because of my bmi. It sucks to even be having to deal with this. I shouldnt have to be looking for a new OB/GYN in my third trimester as if being pregnant isnt stress enough.
I went to an OBGYN appointment at The Group today and had a wonderful experience. The professionalism and kindness Mary Johnson - M.S.N., A.R.N.P. shown me, made me feel extremely understood and confident about my next treatment steps. I am very grateful to have access to this level of top notch care!
Amanda was great with my ultrasound. Held pleasant conversation with a smile.Dr. Aronson took time to listen to my concerns and addressed every last question. Dr Aronson and her staff made my visit very comfortable.
Very unimpressed with a doctor I had. She accused my husband of giving me an std stating just because were married doesnt mean he isnt cheating when I went there for a ruptured cysts. Said she didnt see any cysts even though I KNEW there was so I told her to recheck the ultrasound and then comes in saying how she found some ruptured.Whatever is going on in your personal life maam leave it out of your profession. Rude and unprofessional as hell. Never going back.
Very horrible experience. I went in for a ultrasound to check on my baby. My baby was 9 weeks but unfortunately there was no heartbeat and i miscarried. Very sad time for me. I met with Dr. Kenneth L. Naylor m.d. and he had told me i shouldnt be too upset because i already have 2 children at home. Very upsetting time for me and that was just not what i wanted to hear while im going through this horrible time. I dont plan on coming back.
Gave out detailed medical information without my permission, had an office staff member without a medical degree diagnose me over the phone, and have the most incompetent and rude office staff I have ever had to talk to.
I have been going to the Group for over 36 years and wouldn’t change a thing! I think Jo is the greatest. She makes me feel so comfortable and takes the time to talk about anything that I may need to discuss!!
I cant even imagine doing without my Doctor at The Group. She is always in touch when tests are ongoing. That is a great big plus when you have ongoing problems. And, so friendly and supportive. There are not words to express my appreciation for Dr Aronson.
I love Doctor Aronson, she is very personable, takes the time to explain everything in detail and puts you at ease, also loved her nurse. The staff at the front desk also are always very friendly and welcoming.
I was told to arrive 20 minutes before my appointment to make sure that I am checked in so I make sure to be 20 minutes early. After I am checked in I waited a very short time to get taken to a room but once I am placed in a room I waited over 45 minutes to be seen. This happens every time I go to be seen. The doctor I go to is amazing so I deal with the wait but to know that I need to basically schedule in 2 hours for an apt that will last about 15 minutes is absolutely ridiculous.
I was referred to the OBGYN Group by my Family Physician. I felt let down by the first Group referred and the run around with the Womens ClinicI was introduced to Lisa whom was warm and caring preparing me for my ultrasound and my exam with Dr. Naylor. Claudine (name) the medical sonographer was the best! When it came to my exam Dr. Naylor educated me on my options and how I could combine them with another surgery I need. Thank You!I could have gone to the U of I Hospitals and had both surgeries done. My driving skills are not the best having had lens implants due to glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. My family and friends did not want to be exposed to the Covid 19 Virus!
Horrible place ! I have a tumor on my ovaries need to follow up ASAP with a doctor. I called this office and spoke with one of the front desk girls and made it very clear I needed them to check my insurance. She took all my numbers and called back and said everything was good to go . I waited over a week in serious pain finally show up for my appointment and they told me they will not take my insurance!!!! Now I’m left in pain and trying to find somewhere else to get into . So another week or two off work . Thanks you lazy people that can’t punch in numbers
Great experience as usual at The Group. Kristi is awesome and caring, I love seeing her! I was roomed by a personality plus girl who I think was named Kim. I highly recommend The Group to anyone.
Just because its bigger, its not better. Living between Tex and Iowa, made an appt and let them know I had to fly in for appt. Came in yesterday and she said your appt isnt till September 28th. Then the lady sitting next to her said that was the 2nd person today with same issue. Mind you this just 8:30 In the morning. Never tried to fit me in when they knew i flew in. Never received an apology. 2nd gripe, everytime I made an appt, they get you in but Always leave you sitting naked no less than 30 minutes. Love my Dr but the place is not runner with poor customer, patient care.
After a billing issue with the insurance company (not my fault), they took me to court for the bill that the insurance company was supposed to pay. Insurance company pays most of it, they send me a threatening letter about wage garnishment if I didnt pay this bill. The doctor told me she would make sure it got filed properly to ensure that I wouldnt have to pay a bunch of money just to get my IUD taken out, which...I should have just done myself. There are other OBGYNs who care more about patients and good customer service than they do about trying everything possible to ruin your life and your credit over a couple hundred dollars. If I would have known, I never would have gone there.
Called to schedule an appointment today and Taylor was so thorough, friendly, and thoughtful on the phone! She had a solution for every issue and an answer to every question that I had.
I truly appreciate the service at the Group. I came from another obgyn and almost cried because I had no idea how much better it could be. I also love Dr. Day, shes a caring and knowledgeable woman. I like how well she explains whats going on with me and listens to my concerns.
Was called an hour before my wife’s anatomical ultrasound to be told they forgot to schedule it and we would have to come a different time. My wife and I both took off work, had to re-pay the babysitter for our other child and had to cancel plans with friends. Terribly run scheduling department and total lack of respect for people’s time and money.
This is THE Mecca for Women in the Q-C area. I have been going here for two years now. I L💛VEMy Dr., and the entire Team! Very kind, courteous staff. Attentive( even at 7:30 a.m., when a special appointment has been made for you), how great is THAT? Office opens at 8a.m., but I had an issue requiring immediate attention, and the office was very determined to get me in ASAP. I love the CARE that I receive here. Women’s’ Health Care at its finest. And the services offered here, from pre-natal yoga to a NEW You, at REVIVE! Offering everything from Fraxel Laser Skin Resurfacing to Incredible Skin Care, Facials, Injectibles, and so much MORE! You must try the Services at Revive Medi-Spa. But best of all is GREAT care and TRULY caring Dr.s, Nurses, Reception and Intake. Give The Group a try!! You will be quite pleased☺️
By far the worst experience I’ve ever had with an OBGYN specialist. This is my first pregnancy and I am voluntarily finding prenatal care elsewhere at 36 weeks pregnant due to huge mistakes on their behalf that has happened not once, not twice, but now 3 times... Dr. Steines is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. Do not take a chance going here, find prenatal care somewhere else.
My experience wasnt good.It was a few years ago, havent been back there. It was just unprofessional one time and the other time the Dr was refusing my care saying I cant su her for this and I didnt even mention suing her. Also when Are went to Iowa City for pre pregnancy planning, they were rude also!
Wonderful doctors. Every doctor or nurse my wife has seen have been happy and excited. Weve never waited too long to see the doctor. The 24 hour nurse call line is great to get rid of your fears and answer simple questions.
Horrible nursing staff and doctors. 10/10 would NEVER recommend!!! As I waited in the waiting room I watched the staff inappropriately touch and harass a woman seeking help. I also waited in the waiting room for more than 20 minutes just to be moved to a room to wait another 30-35 minutes to even see a doctor, horrible. I will be seeking services elsewhere and I will make sure everyone I personally know, knows the kind of facility being run there.
Very caring and courteous staff. Lovely and clean facilities. My doctor and the nurses were wonderful and comforting. My appointment ran on time and I was extremely happy with my experience and care!
I have not physically gone to my first appointment at The Group, however I have called to make an appointment from a referral and have found the receptionist rude and disconcerning. This is my first baby and I am relatively new to the area. Should I find another doctors office or hope the doctors do not carry over the same attitude. First impressions say a lot especially when I am already nervous. SUGGESTIONS??????
Polite. Courteous. Efficient. The only thing I dont like is the wait for the Doctor. I wish she were quicker. But, she is very busy and some things cant be helped. Like surgeries that go long, other patients needing more time, etc. So, I dont count them off for that.
I hate going here. They never tell me anything or offer any services, havent talked about parenting classes or touring the birthing center. Im not even sure where Im supposed to go when I do deliver. They dont tell me what Im not supposed to eat or medicines I cant take, everything Ive learned Ive either Googled or saw on a pregnancy app. Nobody told me I shouldnt lay on my back and I dont know how to take care of a newborn. I give birth in a month and everytime I go there they make me wait over an hour just to see a doctor for 4 minutes to measure me (sometimes not even from the right spot) and than say I need to pay for another ultrasound since my belly is big. Im on my 4th ultrasound already. Than they say okay you good? And thats it. This is my first child I wish I wouldnt have went the doctor route I see a different doctor every single visit and its impossible to get a regular appointment so I can request the time off of work. When I give birth Im debating just showing up at trinity or seeing if I can switch to one of their doctors. If you do go here pick one of their midwives they might actually take the time to help you
Mary johnson is a great great physicians assistant. She is kind, compassionate and a great listener. She offers excellent ideas on my health concerns and is just an all around exceptional person.
I love The Group. They listen, and care about your health. From adolescence to old age they are there for you. I’m so happy I chose them while I was pregnant. The doctors and midwives are exceptional.
I have had nothing but good appointments with the group. I had to have a leep procedure done a few years ago and they have taken great care of everything since then. The doctor explained everything as she was going so it didnt seem as terrifying.
All individuals that I interacted with were very pleasant and seemed to enjoy their job! Dr. Johnson was super attentive and easy to talk to. I highly recommend The Group!
I left my job to be at this appointment on time only to be told the Dr. is behind by an hour and started the day behind. This is not an issue in itself however, a simple phone call to let me know of the issue and given the opportunity to reschedule BEFORE I leave work early would have been not only nice but the right and professional thing to do.
I’ve had a lot of bad luck with not finding the right lady dr. Finally I found somewhere that cares from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. They even have a warming lamp, which is my favorite.
Originally went to trinity but the ob there made extremely uncomfortable and they kept canceling my appointments. They let me switch to them at 8 months pregnant and made me feel so much more comfortable and welcome
As much as I like the staff, I felt rushed both times Ive been there for my yearly. I waited undressed, wrapped in a sheet freezing for about 30-40 minutes. When my NP did my exam, it seemed (imo) like she just wanted to hurry up and get through the visit.
I see Melissa Daniels and she’s absolutely wonderful! Never long wait times, all wonderful staff! I am very pleased with every appointment I’ve had at The Group and highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you!
Had the worst experience! Would not recommend anyone to go here. TRUST ME! Find another doctor thats far away from this practice. If you new my story, you most definitely would. Wish I had the option to give them zero stars.
Wonderful customer service and very helpful! Wish I could keep going to them but recently moved out of state. Whenever I have called or gone in for an appointment they have always been super responsive and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend
Love this office. Have been with them since I was 18! Had amazing care with both my kids and now serve my health needs. Kristi is amazing!
The perfect balance of personable and professional. The front desk staff were quick and cheerful. The medical staff were thorough and made sure that I understood the treatment plan.
Extremely friendly and quick! I love the doctor that I see and the ladies at the front are always so welcoming. The design of the building is also bright and cheerful. Very impressed.
Everything went very smooth and everyone was very friendly! I didn’t even sit down before they called me back. There was hardly any waiting and Dr. Naylor and his staff were great!!
The staff is truly amazing. Very sweet and helpful. I love my doctor and how she listens to every question and talking through the answers with me. Great place.
The doctors office is not my favorite place and I was nervous to see a new provider. My 1st OB appointment went so smoothly and the nurses & lab techs were very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised.
My first time meeting Mary Johnson and I absolutely love her! She has such a warm personality and definitely makes the experience less awkward!
Easy checkin w friendly staff, however I dont like verbally confirming my information w the staff for all to hear. I found the place to be very sterile, no reading material in waiting area. Love Dr Naylor and his nurse, Lisa
Would not recommend for care if patient suspects or is dealing with endometriosis. This group performs ablation surgery. Had two unsuccessful surgeries. Would recommend looking for an endometriosis surgeon who is knowledgeable and can perform excision versus ablation.
I went there while pregnant with my second baby during COVID. After months of me going there they told me I cannot continue with their services because I had no one to watch my child. I cried and cried and they still turned me down.
Amazing place ! Has helped me for years with any thing and everything they possibly could ! From the time you walk in the door you feel at home! Highly recommend, the most amazing support system! These people are truly hero’s !
Terrible customer service. They expect and force you to sign documents about 24 hour notice for cancellations or reschedules and then reschedule your appointment the same day. Apparently their time is way more valuable than their customers.
Staff is friendly & helpful. Dr Jana Van Rybroek was so knowledgeable and answered my questions patiently. JoAnn Neilson, Nurse Practioner, is also knowledgeable and does my yearly exam. I think this is a wonderful place for women’s medical needs.
The services were ok but the billing department is terrible. I had NST test done and they sent me to Genesis because they couldnt complete the test. I was never informed that Genesis will bill me for this specific test. The obgyn couldnt see everything thats why they sent me. Now obgyn is reluctant to talk about the details of why it happened, the simple answer is they want me to pay Genesis.
I am giving them 1 star because there isn’t a zero star. The staff is so rude and unhelpful. I was honestly shocked. Maybe the doctors are great but we wont be finding out based on the terrible first impression by the receptionist.
Always professional and very knowledgeable. They really care to listen to you and answer all your questions completely. I love this place and have never been disappointed with anyone I have seen. I will always be their patient!!!
This was my first time going here, I was very happy with the little wait after I checked in, made me feel very comfortable, it was like I knew them for a while, that is exactly what I look for in a doctors office. I would recommend them to anyone.
Everyone was friendly! I saw a new doctor yesterday and she made me feel like I was her only patient for the day! I didnt feel rushed at all!
I love the fact that there’s no rush to get you through. Can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or ignorant. Very personable. Appointments are timely. Atmosphere is pleasant.
The Group offers Top-Notch care in the QC! Dr. Lyndsey Day and staff are always so calm, caring and assuring. Thank you so much for taking care of me.
I see Jo Neilson, ARNP, every year for my annual exam. She is amazing! She’s professional, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I highly recommend her!
I always feel like they listen to what I have to say to them. I dont have an issue with making appointments. The midwives are amazing.
My 16 year old daughter saw Kristi and really loved her. She treated her with a lot of respect and didnt talk down to her.
Just on hold for 20 min. Answering machines have been around for 30 years. Disappointing.... I understand some of the other comments better. Front desk staff seems to be an issue here, billing, sceduleing,
The place was great. It was my first time going here for my health needs and I was very satisfied the the individuals I was in contact with plus the doctor was super helpful and kind.
I checked in, used the restroom, and was called back to an exam room and taken care of relatively quickly. I was on my way home in 30 minutes. I was ecstatic! Thank you, thank you!

Probably great doctors, but the rest of the staff leave you feeling like you’re just a number and they are probably too busy for you.
Everyone was so nice and and very friendly. All questions were answered so kindly. For sure a Red Tent!
I had a horrible experience... and I still am. What does that response even mean? I think this is a perfect example of how caring this place really is.
