The young lady that assist with surgery scheduling, to the doctor staring at you like youre close to death and being told one thing and finding out a complete hysterectomy is being performed days before, then told by the assistant(appointment scheduler) that the information given from staff was wrong oh and she stated you’d rather him have to open you back up or do whatever needed unknowingly. I simply cancelled this office is unacceptable. Scared the living day lights out of me.
I had an appt. today, Aug. 20, 24 at 9:15am and arrived at 9am and the doors were locked and no lights on. I called from home and they said they had nothing scheduled for me and that they had also moved and the Dr. was out on vaca and not back til beginning of Sept. I have an appt card that they gave me but obviously they did not record the appt. in their system!!!!!!!!!! They are now at 5280 Linton Blvd. DB, new to me!!!!!
I found Dr. Cirisano to be a most caring and professional doctor. He spent a great deal of time with me and went over all the results of my test and made appropriate recommendations for follow up after seeing him for a second time. I feel much more comfortable and less worried.
ZERO STARS - Horrible Office! The staff makes it so difficult to work through their own errors. The billing dept does not like to communicate with patients. They opt for snail mail and will not take your calls. Instead, theyll have the front desk put you on hold until the system hangs up on you. They are scammers and try to take or keep money thats not theirs. They require upfront payment for surgery and good luck trying to get money back when you find out they overcharged you. It took me almost 3 months! I reported them to my insurance company who may drop this office. Dr. Cirisano does not care what his staff does and lets them get away with however they want to treat their patients. I tried to get him involved but never got a phone call, email, letter, nothing. If youre looking for an Oncologist, use someone else! Dont trust these people! Hes not worth the stress his staff puts you through.
After chemo and radiation, continued going to doctor for regular visits to make sure we’d catch it early if it came back. Well, with regular visits Doctor was in and out so quickly that he didn’t catch the very large tumor that had returned (others later said could have even felt from superficial external exam). By the time he “noticed” it was too late for surgery. In my opinion, his neglect is a big reason why my mom is no longer here. She did everything right and trusted her doctor and his experience and thought he was on top of her case. But it was too late. Furthermore, when going through chemo and radiation and has very important questions, she could not get in touch with doctor as he refused to answer questions outside of working hours or return calls. His lack of compassion for his patients and lack of care in their follow up visits is reprehensible.
BEWARE! if i could post NEGATIVE 10 i would!!!!!!!The least amount of bedside manner i have ever NOT had - Frank Cirisano NEVER came to see me while i was 8 DAYS in the hospital, after my surgery. Not once! There were complications and this man NEVER followed up! Not a phone call, a vist from him.....NOTHING. He sent his physicians assistant one time towards the end of my stay. That dissappointment came on the heels of the NASTY manager that tries to run the office. She is rude, disrespectful and borderline crazy. I was 24 hours prior to surgery when she told me I MUST pay the $1600. copay prior to the sugery, or it would be cancelled!!!! Who does that? Talk about no compassions. They need to close this office (or at least renovate the dump), its not even clean!!!I had a diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer......but that did not seem to matter to her, the doctor, or anyone else in the office. I hated every moment that i had to go to this office. When i tried to tell the doctor of my experience, he said he was just an employee of the business......so clearly, he did not care either. However, as a person with Character, why would you want to be aligned with such negativity. I wonder if she is his wife?!?!?!?!RUN and RUN FAST!!! Dont look back...so many great Doctors in th Boca Raton area, no one should have to be treated like this.
These Doctors may put on a show for their patients, but behind the scenes they disrespect their employees daily. They’ve been contacted by the Florida Career College multiple times in regards to their unprofessionalism and mistreatment of their interns. To the doctors, please start treating your interns and employees with respect. You may have a higher degree, but your staff has just as much value as you.
Dr. Cirisano is amazing. The office manager is aweful! She is rude and is in the wrong business. She shows no compassion at all. Two days before my surgery calls tells me that I need to pay $1000 co payment. When I asked if there was anything that we can do with this since it was two days prior to my operations she informed me that I should know my finances. What professional would say this?
Dr. Cirisano is a very kind and wonderful doctor. His staff however is not professional, nor in compliance with HIPAA. Patient records and or names are mentioned without regard of others overhearing. records are viewable for other patients. The most frustrating thing besides the lack of manners of the staff who are there to treat and make patients feel comfortable during a horrible ordeal they may or may not be going through, is the lack of knowledge of your last appointments. My first visit, I excused the lack of manners and compliance, the second I was angry. Then no return phone call for a test result, no apology for waiting 3 days or not knowing what you were there to be treating for is unacceptable.
I have never had a worse experience than when I met Dr. Frank Cirisano. I met him as consult, where he denied my case. I have had abnormal bleeding for years and he made me feel like my pain was made up. A doctor has never made me feel like I wasnt worthy of their time. I hope you treat your patients better than you treated me
My first visit was today. I was highly impressed with Dr. Cirisanos staff and Dr. Cirisano. He was open and answered all of my questions, his staff was thorough with their pre-exam questionnaire and one-on-one conversation. I probably asked the same question a few times and Dr. Cirisano answered each time gently and with genuine concern that I understood my options. I was initially going to give the office 4 stars because of the wait, however, because of the time he spent with me, I see that each and every patient must be getting his full attention, as I did. I highly recommend Dr. Cirisano and am delighted to give this review.
Dr. Cirisano found, treated & cured my cancer.(with Gods help). He put together a 3 man team consisting of the best oncologists in Boca/Delray. His medical knowledge of my rare cancer, Immunotherapy, radiology --resulted in full treatment to eradicate my cancer. His credentials are excellent--google them!
I went to Dr. Frank Cirisanos office in Delray Beach on Linton Blvd today as a new patient. I just received new health insurance, and had been referred to go there for a second opinion on an abnormal pap. When I called a week and a half ago to schedule the appointment, the girl on the phone (she never said her name) wasnt very friendly, especially when I said I hadnt received my new insurance information. I was told to call back when I received it. When I called yesterday to give them my information, the girl on the phone said they would call me back with my copay information. Now, mind you, I never received a confirmation call for my appointment, and they never called me back about my copay. So I go there today, having left work early to do so, and when I walk in, theres no one at the desk. The office is also old, shabby, and looks like a ghost town with no one in sight. When the receptionist finally comes to the desk, she walks right past me, says nothing for a good two minutes, and then finally mumbles a miserable hello. I tell her that I have an appointment, fill out the paperwork, and hand her my insurance card. She tells me my copay and then when I hand her a credit card, proceeds to tell me that theyre going to charge me an extra $0.45. Now, its not about the $0.45 at all, but Im annoyed because there is no explanation why, I was never called back about my copay, and I was never called to confirm my appointment. I tell her that Im a new patient, and that if I had been given a call back that I would have brought cash, or should have at least been informed about the charge (there were no signs anywhere mentioning a charge). She tells me that she doesnt know who I spoke with, but that I still have to pay the charge. When I tell her I want to speak with an office manager, she goes into a back room with a window I can clearly see through, and she speaks to a woman who apparently seems to be making fun of me. When she calls me in to speak with the manager, the manager doesnt even introduce herself. She is a rude, nasty foreign woman that immediately cuts me off when I try to explain that I was never called back, am a new patient, just got new health insurance, and was supposed to receive both a confirmation call and a call back about my copay. I tell her to stop cutting me off and that I can go to any other doctor but was referred to come there. She cuts me off again and tells me that she doesnt know who I spoke to, but ultimately, I should know my copay. Well, excuse me, but this is new health insurance, so no, I dont know it, and furthermore, whoever I spoke to said they would call me back. She continues to be rude and cut me off, so I tell her Im leaving. This is the most nasty, rude, disgusting office, and its smack dab in the ghetto. I would NEVER go back or refer anyone. Find another doctor!
My experience here is pleasant but it won’t be a five star until little miss attitude who picks up majority of the calls and who greets people change her lil funky mood. I swear I hate calling if I could set my own appointment online I would definitely do so because her mood just dampers mine. Then god forbid you have more questions she start getting aggravated with you and the tone gets higher foh. Every day you’re going to sound like that? Cheer up life ain’t that bad
After waiting over an hour to see him on my first visit I still thought he was wonderful, his office staff on the other hand are rude, dismissive and unprofessional. These girls dont even wear masks on the days he is out of this location. I have never been treated so rudely by a receptionist or ultrasound tech. She had the nerve to say what part of this dont you understand when I asked her a simple follow up question.
BEWARE....The reception desk and office manager need some customer service and patient compassion lessons. This was my first visit, and after filling out 10 pages of forms, I took my paperwork back to the front desk and was told I needed to pay a $290.00 CO-PAY to see the doctor. I have excellent BC/BS PPO insurance and explained my co-pay should only be $20. I phoned BCBS and a rep. confirmed this. The receptionist left the room to inform the office manager. She returned to inform me they lowered my co-pay amount to $129. How awkward and uncomfortable to be negotiating money at this time! The BCBS agent (still on the phone with me) requested to talk with office manager. We were told she was on a conference call. We waited another 10 minutes and were then told didnt know how long it would be. It was now 45 minutes past my apt. time....so I took my paperwork back and walked out. If this is a window into how this doctor treats new patients, no thank you! Absolutely horrible and rude!!! No compassion, no manners.
Dr. Cirisano was extremely knowledgeable of my fast growing awful uterine cancer cell. He saved my life!
Dr. Cirisano, Frank great doctor BUT his office staff, person running the office are horrible. They have NO knowledge, lack patient care and show NO respect for cancer patients. Unbelievable to say the least and very upseting...
I have seen Dr. Cirisano on and off for years, he is totally hands on, caring and dedicated. I would not feel comfortable with anyone else.
Lovely experience, the staff was pleasant and caring. Dr Cirisano was awesome and very gentle, I highly recommend him.
Dr. Frank Cirisano is caring, smart, and very professional. Wonderful PAs in office and front desk ladies.
My experience has been wonderful, professional and efficient with Dr C, his PA Diana, Myra the nurse and his office staff. I could not have asked for a better experience.
