Staff is caring & helpful & the place is clean. Parking here is much easier & nicer than their office at Riverside. I didnt feel rushed through my appointment but I have in the past. Been a patient since 2012.
Whoever answers the phone here puts on a bad face for the entire company. I was excited to visit a practice with such greatly reviewed professionals but whatever receptionist they hired to schedule people over the phone completely ruined my experience. Rudest phone call of my life, so much attitude for no reason, extremely unprofessional. Save yourself the phone call and schedule somewhere else.
If youre looking for quality obstetric care this is not the place for you. I always wondered why they called Riverside hospital a baby mill and heres why. Everything is about getting you in and out as quick as possible without attention to detail. No questions or education about your health in regards to food, fitness or mental well being. The communication amongst the staff is terrible. My doctor, Erin May was completely beside herself when she found out my previous birth was at home during my 32week visit. 32 weeks! I had shared this with the nurse practitioner who I was seeing in between from the beginning, so not sure why it was a shock. That let me know very quickly she was not invested in my care and that my chart wasnt being documented properly which I verified after that visit as well. Obstetric care should be preventative not reactive. Im not looking for a friend but I sure do want a provider who will go over my test results and break things down good or bad. I ended up leaving after telling the doctor I wasnt comfortable going forward because I felt she wasnt doing her due diligence and ended up having a positive birth experience elsewhere. I did complete my last wellness visit with them since THEY reached out to me to do so this year which I didnt mind since I had no issues with the NP Alice who I believe was a little more thorough, and this would allow more time next year to find a permanent provider for gynecological care. So now that thats all over, I can share my piece in hopes other women can make more informed decision about maternal care especially since the USA has the highest death rates for any developed nation.
The absolute 100% hands down best OB/GYN practice around. Dr. Vanek is my OB and seven years ago, when I found out I was pregnant with twins at age 40, I had to find a high risk OB. She came highly recommended from a friend who worked at the hospital and Vanek took me and my twins on and cared for us like family. Her personality is the absolute best. You feel like you are talking to your best friend. She doesn’t pull any punches and her and her fellow doctors are always there for you. They take their time, listen to your worries, and take care of you like their own. I wouldn’t trust myself to anyone else.
I was very disappointed in the quality of care, professionalism and lack of empathy. Will be finding another office that truly values my overall health and well being. Save yourself the time and money.
Pleasant experience, courteous receptionist, easy parking at this location. Dr Gaiser and her nurse, Emily, are wonderful. They respect patient’s wishes and answer all questions promptly, approachable via mychart too. All prenatal visits so far have been a breeze.
I went to this office to discuss birth control options. I decided with more of my own research, rather than info from the office to get an IUD.I knew that I would experience some pain with the placement, but it was unusually difficult. As I rode home, the pain continued to increase. Once I got home, it got severe. I went the ER in Westerville and after a CAT scan and ultrasound, they told me to immediately go back to Riverside ER because the device was embedded in my uterus. Once I got to Riverside ER, they told me the device was bent and I had to have it removed with no option for a replacement.I called the office to speak with someone about the issue and have not received a returned call. I know from what all the doctors stated was that things like this happen, but it is rare. So, as much as I try not to blame the nurse who placed it, I do think there are several things that could have been done better. First, performing an ultrasound post placement would have determined if it was placed correctly and explained why I was in so much pain. Secondly, and most importantly, the lack of response to my call, the lack of care, and lack of empathy shown by the office when there was a report about my incident is what is unforgivable. The only followup call I received was for someone to confirm a follow up appointment that was to occur in a month. I explained that I was not coming back to the office, the caller apologized and the call ended. And again, no followup regarding the loss of a patient.I sincerely hope for all those that come after me, either reconsider and find another office, or that eventually the office be willing to to improve its operations.
I’ve been coming here for 27 years so now just a gyn patient. I like the staff and location of the Dublin office, parking is easy. Usually in and out in under 30 minutes without my care feeling rushed.
I am very upset that I trusted this office to begin with. I have endometriosis and was searching for a provider who understood the years of medical strife and debt I have experienced because of this and other health issues. She was great and we discussed an IUD. Id tried everything else, even two surgeries, before I came to her so this was an option I hadnt tried. I had never been interested in an IUD because my friends had terrible experiences. After having the IUD put in I experienced a lot of painful symptoms. I let it go on for 3 weeks before going to the ER to find out that the IUD was placed incorrectly and was poking into a muscle (the cause of my pain). Since I had been through so much and was desperate for this to work, I said lets go ahead and take that one out and put a new one in. For this, I was put to sleep like a normal surgery at the hospital. Everything went fine, nothing like the pain Id had before. My (now) husband thought I was nuts for getting a new one put in.My issue now is that this bill is insanely expensive. I am only able to make payments and recently when I have called in they wouldnt even let me speak to a nurse without payment. I pay and hardly get any answers. Now today I called to schedule an appointment (I need an annual pap as well as wanting to get the IUD taken out since I am married now). I was just told that my bill is in collections and until it is paid IN FULL I am not able to schedule. So payments arent good enough? My employer only offers insurance through the Marketplace exchange so I pay (a lot) for a HMO plan. Other offices will not accept this because I have a OhioHealth only plan. I wish these hospitals and practices would consider the full scope of the position their patients are in. I deeply regret coming here. I didnt go after them with a lawsuit for my ER visit or the surgery. Yet I am being punished and credit continuing to be ruined. When this bill is paid I will not come back. I guess I will just take out the IUD myself.
Love the availability of the Dublin office! Was able to get in same day I called, staff were quick and efficient! NP was thorough and compassionate to help.
Have been going to this practice since 1997. Love Dr. Melissa Boyles. The office staff is very efficient and friendly. Dublin location is easy to find, good parking, and surrounding area is not crowded.
Called to get an GYN appt as I am pt 60 yo and my Dr retiring. Said only take OB patients who “want to have a baby”. Poor practice!!! I am a nurse and would never support such a practice. I will go elsewhere fo care!!! My advice; don’t get “old”!
I have been going to this practice for more than a decade and they’ve seen me through childbirth. I am a little disappointed that they don’t follow up with patients that they haven’t seen in a while like other practices do. And I have uterine fibroids that cause severe abdominal pain frequently, but they said they weren’t large enough to treat. So I just have to deal with the severe abdominal pain. I think I need a second opinion on that one.
Obgyns dont want to see women unless theyre pregnant. I have poly cystic ovarian syndome. Its a painful and serious health problem, yet I cannot get into an obgyn in a reasonable amount of time. You know we live in the wealthiest city in this area and our tax dollars are fueling your hospitals to deliver your sweet little bundles of joy, right? So, if we DIE, you dont have those tax dollars. My husband makes more than your rude receptionists life is worth. But whatever just go on acting like our lives are expendable. I should sue every single obgyns office who wont make my health and well being a priority. Dont think I cant or wont.
I have been a patient of this practice, Womens Physicians and OBGYN since 1996 and have ONLY had positive experiences here. From the pre pregnancy to post to now pre menopausal, I have to be one of the luckiest patients in being referred here in 1996 by a friend. ❤️❤️
The best!! Absolutely love this practice and have going there since at least 1998. HIGHLY recommend!
Had a great experience with the their NP Michele
Very unprofessional and they don’t care. DO NOT GO THERE
Great staff
Love Dr. Schnack!
