Working with Reply has been a great experience so far! They have found things that the traditional fertility doctors overlooked. I really appreciate how they encourage my husband and I to come to appointments together and to both be very involved in the process. If you are considering working with Reply, please know that you must be willing to do the work. There is a lot of testing, charting, and fertility education appointments but it’s so worth it to heal your bodies and prepare for a healthy pregnancy. I am truly so grateful that this clinic exists and that the practitioners here are extremely thorough!
I had a very positive and wonderful first experience. The new patient coordinator was extremely welcoming, friendly and patient with my scheduling requests. The Nurse Practitioner was wonderful too. Talking to her made me feelLike she gets my concerns and I felt very comfortable with her approach. She was so respectful of my time and made sure she addressed everything in the time I had with her. Excellent experience indeed!
I became a patient at Reply shortly after this location opened up. At first, it has been a great practice. Then my OB left the practice. Last month I called to schedule my yearly exam, and I was told that unless I have a medical issue or I am interested in infertility treatments, they could NOT see me for a check-up. To confirm that I understood correctly, I asked the receptionist on the phone if she was suggesting I should look for a different provider...she answered...yes, that is what I am saying...I have been a healthcare provider for 15 years now and I am speechless after this conversation. Sadly, more and more medical facilities are focused on quantity versus quality of medical care...
The level of care and compassion from Dr. B is outstanding! He really takes the time to listen, explain, and make sure u are comfortable. I never feel rushed when I go see him and can honestly say this is the only doctor I have seen that listened to my concerns AND tried to come up with a way to help. Tia is also great. She went above and beyond to make sure my prior authorization was cleared after my surgery had to be delayed because of it (no fault of hers). She stayed in touch with me throughout the process and even stayed late one day trying to get it completed. She remained professional at all times even when I wasn’t the nicest. I highly recommend this office and it’s staff.
I spoke with Tia today and she was AMAZING! She made sure I had everything in order for my appointment, and was so sweet and patient with me. She was able to answer any questions I had and made sure I had everything I needed. Her great personality and professionalism made it so much easier and all around made my day!So I have to add to my review because after meeting with Dr. B I feel I need to share how truly amazing he is. I had anxiety before my appointment because for years now I have had no luck. Doctor after doctor and I was sent off with the same response of your just depressed , its a mom thing your going to be tired. Well not with Dr. B. He not only listened, but discovered I have been living with something that could have been managed years ago. When we are constantly told something from someone especially by a doctor, even though we know it cant be right. We over time start to believe it. I had given up hope and was barely getting by in my normal everyday activities. I knew it shouldnt be this way, but what could I do? Now the reason Im leaving this personal of a review, is because I know there are others like me out there. I finally found someone that not only listens but truly cares about his patients. If you have been through the same make that appointment with Dr. B. He is helping put my life back on a path, Im not scared to go down anymore. Thank you Dr. B!
I have been a patient with Reply for some years now. Everyone I have encountered has been such a joy to collaborate with when it comes to my care. I have been very happy with Reply! It is unfortunate that they are phasing out their OB/GYN patients in order to focus on fertility, the sole original mission they sought out to deliver originally. But I am thankful for the time and care they have provided to the community!I am sure they will continue to do well, provide exceptional care, and provide only the best physicians for their practice! Thank you Reply!
I cannot recommend Reply OB/GYN enough! I had the best experience I have probably ever had with and OBGYN facility. I was at first hesitant to come because other OBGYN places I have been to have often dismissed me or push medications down my throat to solve the issue. This was not the case here. Everyone from the front desk to the medical assistant to my nurse were so welcoming and friendly. My appointment was with Danielle Lewis who is AMAZING! For the first time in 11 years, I finally feel confident that I will be able to manage and resolve my condition. Danielle took an hour with me (which to me is unheard of) to review my condition to fully understand it. She then created a treatment plan for me which will consists of labs and imaging so she can gather the full picture to determine the best course of action for me. I love the fact that this place gets to the root cause of your medical issues as opposed to just throwing another medication at you. I am so happy I found Reply. You cannot go wrong with this office. Thank you so much Reply OB/GYN!!!!
Absolutely blown away...Aleisa and her assistant were absolutely wonderful. They were kind and understanding of my less than excited mindset towards going for my annual checkup. They also were extremely thorough and made sure they identified any issue that I could have. It was a very painless and informative session. Highly highly recommend! Will be telling all my friends about this place since were all around child bearing age. I feel like they have your best interest at heart!!! Thank you!!
Danielle Lewis is absolutely the BEST! So glad I found her. Her knowledge of her art and profession is amazingly impressive and so comforting to know you’re in the best hands possible! She took the time to LISTEN, discuss everything with me throughly, answer all my questions and concerns and thoroughly put together a plan that is best for me and my health as an individual.I recommend her to anyone and every female, especially if suffering from an unidentifiable autoimmune disorder like myself. She is the first medical professional I have found that genuinely cares and is determined to get to the root of my issues to help me.She’s so sweet and kind and personable as well. Makes you feel so comfortable!
REPLY is dropping all their OB patients because the money is not there for them. They are only giving patients one month to find new care. I feel bad for those who are close to birth. They obviously had this in the works for months and disclosed to patients at the last minute.. I could tell the quality of care had gotten so bad since becoming an OB patient, so in a way, this news was not surprising. I hope you ladies get your medical records sent out fast because I had mine sent out (I was so done with them after November) and it took them a month to get the records out to my new provider. Terrible the way they’ve treated their OB patients and I will not give them my business anymore. Their quality of care has become completely lackluster since I started seeing them in 2020. Be cautious going forward.
I called to schedule a new patient appointment after receiving a voicemail asking me to call the provided number. Upon calling, I was sent to the operator who quickly put me on hold and then left me waiting for 20 minutes. It would have been nice if I was asked what my call was in reference to or notified that the wait was going to be that long. After 20 minutes, someone answered and asked what I was calling for…to which I noted I would like to set up a new patient appointment. Without saying anything else, I was transferred (with no explanation) to a voicemail box to leave a message about what my call was in reference to. This is utterly terrible customer service, especially for someone new to the practice. I called back and asked why I was transferred to a voicemail with no explanation after being on hold for 20 minutes. I was told very rudely that the receptionist had other things to tend to and basically insinuated my call was not a priority. I’m glad to see firsthand how new patients are treated here. If you are looking for a practice with helpful staff and someone able to answer your questions as you’re a new patient, DO NOT come here.
I love this place. The staff is so warm and welcoming and my nurse practitioner, Danielle Lewis, was amazing. She thoroughly explained to me whatever I needed to know from the questions I asked, and made me feel so comfortable. My OB, Dr. Thorp, was very down to earth and attentive, as well. Definitely glad I chose this office to help me with my body and upcoming birth.
Dr.B is a wonderful man and a wonderful doctor! He is patient, understanding, and kind! He is the first doctor that I have met that cares about ME and my HEALTH, not how much time or money I am costing him. Dr. B is a true gem. I love Dr. B to the core. He has my utmost respect! If the world was full of doctors like him there would be less sick people in the world. Everyone in his office that I have met is charming, caring, and sweet. Dr. B and his staff have been a blessing for me and my 21 y/o daughter. Thank you all!
My experience with Reply was very positive all around. Latea, the new patient coordinator, called in advance and handled my patient set up and scheduling seamlessly. Check in and out was very easy and office staff were so helpful. Aleisa, the provider I saw was very professional, competent, and pleasant, taking her time to explain everything to me very thoroughly. I would highly recommend her and Reply in general based on my first encounter there.
The other reviews all seem pretty great, which makes me feel even more disappointed. Ive recently transferred my care from Reply as my husband and I continually felt uninformed and confused. We liked the staff and everyone was nice most of the time, but things often felt thrown together and disorganized behind the scenes. We saw both Dr. Thorpe and Dr. Carlson, but neither ever remembered where wed left off before and would repeat the same information every time which left us feeling frustrated.. Things like failing to get my blood type after drawing blood twice, or tell us what hospitals they delivered through, or keep appointments at their originally scheduled times were just a few reasons why weve transferred.
Reply is amazing. I agree with all of the other reviewers: there are not enough words for how wonderful this office is. I have had traumatic and disheartening experiences with other doctors not understanding my issues, trying to prescribe me birth control without asking deeper questions that would get to the root of the problems, or even not believing the symptoms and conditions I expressed. But not at Reply! At Reply, I was treated with respect, dignity, and compassion by everyone. Dr. Summers and Nurse Adrienne were amazingly supportive and compassionate when I explained my history with doctors. They didnt write me off or judge my fears; they listened and patiently worked with me, restoring my faith in OB/GYNs! I am so grateful to be a patient here. 😊
My main provider Alesia Carlson is amazing and very knowledgeable. She makes me feel comfortable and always encourages me to ask any questions I may have. The couple other providers I’ve seen have been really great as well. I’m glad I did my research and chose Reply Ob/Gyn.However, the billing for lab services is frustrating and stressful. If you update your billing address and insurance information with the office, for some reason that doesn’t carry over to lab services. You don’t know this until you receive a bill from the outpatient laboratory months later. You have to call the outpatient laboratory itself to try and update your insurance. Overall it is a very uncoordinated, stressful situation and is the last thing I want to be dealing with while pregnant. If the care I was getting weren’t so good, this would easily be a deal breaker and I’d be looking for an office that doesn’t have such complicated lab billing/services.
This is a fantastic OB GYN office and by far the best I have been to. The office staff is always courteous and kind. Getting an appointment and talking with the front staff is easy and pleasant. The physicians and midwife are attentive to your needs, caring and very responsive. This is a top notch medical facility. If youre in search of a practice that makes you feel like you matter as a human being, while receiving excellent medical care then look no further.
Dr. Urrutia is absolutely amazing. I cant say enough good things about her. She is very informative and she takes her time with her patients. She listens to concerns, educates about those concerns and is very supportive of her patients and their health/birth goals. The rest of the staff has also been wonderful. They are professional but also very personable. The office is clean and well kept. I highly recommend this practice.
Thrilled with my first experience at Reply Ob/gyn. Everyone I came in contact with was incredible- the front desk staff, nurse, the woman who did my labs, and especially Alesia Carlson. She was thorough, thoughtful, kind, and genuinely listened to me. I felt truly cared for at my appointment. After negative experiences elsewhere, I’m so thankful to have found Reply!
Switched to ReplyOB/Gyn summer of 2020 after horrible bedside manner & attitudes from staff along with the doctors at my last OBGYN office I was using. Reply has been so helpful and caring over the last 1.5 years I’ve been with them. We’ve loved their office staff so much. The staff really make you feel like a person, not just a number in their system. We live about 45 minutes away and it is worth the trip a thousand times over.
Dr. Bobrovnikov and the team at Reply are wonderful. I had been suffering from a constant period for more than a year. If the pain, inconvenience, embarrassment and fear of why my period would not stop weren’t bad enough, I had many appointments with multiple doctors at other practices who either were not listening or not willing to work with me to figure out what was going on and find a solution that worked for me. After a year of many visits, exams, tests, internal and external ultrasounds with one office, their solution was birth control or ablation, neither of which were solutions for me. I reached out to Reply because the practice doesn’t mask what is happening in your body with a pill.My first appointment with Dr. Bobrovnikov was the first time in 18 months that I felt heard. He was kind, appreciated my frustration and was genuinely concerned with my health. Dr. B asked questions no other doctor had and clearly laid out a course of action – the first step of which we did at that visit, leading to identifying the problem. I had massive fibroids that were visible on previous ultrasounds, but my previous doctor did not consider them the cause of my constant period. Addressing my discomfort, quality of life and concern for the amount of blood loss from being undiagnosed for the past year, Dr. B. recommended surgery. With covid-related hospital restrictions, scheduling the procedure was not straight-forward. Dr. Bobrovnikov, and Tia were not only working with the hospital to get me scheduled, but were regularly in contact with me. Throughout this process, I never had to wonder if I had fallen off the radar. It was an incredible relief to know that Dr. B and Tia were advocating for me.The procedure and my recovery were successful. While recovering, Dr. B. reached out regularly to check on me. I not only feel physically better than I have in a long time, but finally feel like a functioning human again. All of the staff and nurses at Reply are excellent at their job. At my previous doctor, the staff responded like I was interrupting or inconveniencing them by trying to check in or out and the nurses seemed to just be rushing me around. Every staff member I’ve interacted with in the office or on the phone at Reply is pleasant and knowledgeable and a pleasure to interact with. I am remise to not recall the name the nurse with whom I worked most, but she is knowledgeable, personable and excellent at her job.I am relieved to not only have this traumatic issue resolved, but to have found a home for my future care because of the skillful, kind team at Reply and the best doctor I’ve ever had, Dr. Bobrovnikov.
Had a great first experience at Reply OB/GYN and Fertility this morning. Staff took as much time as needed to collect a full history, ask questions, and find out about my personal health goals. I felt seen and understood. I am waiting to see what the billing process is like and will come back and update my starred review then!
Writing as a first time patient -Making an appointment was very easy! Kenya helped make sure I got seen even when I needed to reschedule!Checkin online to make things go quicker when doing pre-checkin at the clinic. I only waited about 10-15 minutes until I was called.Amanda (nurse) and Dr. Danielle were both incredibly nice and very informative about the services that Reply OBGYN offers!Overall visit was about an hour long. I walked in nervous, but I can genuinely say I walked out knowing I will be taken care of! Thank you. ☺️
First of all, every time I’ve called, either to schedule or for the nurse triage line, I end up having to leave a voicemail and I called the nurse triage line a week ago and still have not received a call back. I also messaged my doctor a month ago to ask a question following my appointment and have not received a response. why this place is called Reply beats me. This does not instill confidence that they will be responsive when I really need to speak to someone. The reason why I am not coming back to Reply is that both the doctor and I had concerns about my thyroid levels during my pregnancy because I was diagnosed with Hashimotos earlier this year. He said he would order the thyroid tests needed. When I got the email saying my lab results were available to view, I did not see my thyroid results there. That’s when I messaged the doctor to ask about it and did not get a response. I ended up going to my primary care provider to get the labs done (which is an extra trip and extra bill for me) and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and have to take medication. I still don’t know if they just didn’t run the lab or just didn’t follow up with me about it. Either way is unacceptable because of real concerns that we had with even the possibility of hypothyroidism and the effects it can have on the baby. I don’t trust the team at Reply to follow up with actual concerns about my health and my baby. I’m going somewhere else that I hope will be more responsive, caring, and wise with my care during this pregnancy. And Angela, if you see this message and leave your number that’s great but I would prefer a call from you. My name is public on here and my information should still be in the system at Reply so you should have my number.
I have been going to Reply for almost a year now. I have had great experiences with all midwives/Nurses (Aleisa, Mandy, Sammi, Anna), doctors, and front desk staff. However, that has changed drastically since the new lab tech took over a few weeks/month back. The wait time has increased substantially. I have to schedule appointments during work hours and last week I waited 40 minutes just to get my blood draw. She can never find veins ( for anyone). Also, I had to go to other Rex lab in Raleigh in past few weeks since this lab was closed, and never ever had issues with my veins there. I also know other people who go new lab tech and have same issues. She is always confused. Absolutely disheartening to write this review. But, I cannot afford to spend 1 hour just for blood draws, something that should take no more than 10 minutes from start to finish. She also bruised my arm so badly last time that I still have bruises 10+ days after the blood draw. Which went from blue, red, yellow to black now. Never happened before. I really miss Jocelyn. Please consider these things. I have been patient for a while now, it’s just unbearable now.
I’ve been a patient at Reply for about three years and am truly grateful for all of the midwives and nurses I’ve interacted with. They genuinely care about their patients and have brought the utmost care and expertise to every situation, from routine check-ups to delivering my daughter. We are so blessed to have them in the Triangle!
Seeing Danielle at Reply felt like a breath of fresh air to me--a jaded womens health nurse/herbalist. I have not found any medical provider in my adult life who I felt understood where I was coming from like Danielle did. No exaggeration. I am so used to my herbal regimens and functional medicine lab test results getting dismissed by providers who dont know anything about integrative/holistic medicine. Not so with Danielle. She knew what an MTHFR genetic mutation is and was knowledgeable about the herbs I am taking. She is committed to getting to the root cause of your issues and took lots of time with me and my partner to talk about the complexities of reproductive hormonal cascades. I wish there more people like in this world practicing integrative medicine like Danielle does. I am so appreciative of her care and the care I received from the welcoming support staff that day.
I do not recommend this practice. They are always 30 min behind for appointments, even if you take an 850am appointment. They do not follow up after having blood work done. Bedside manner for half of the nurse staff is unthought out. I’m having to switch practices at 27 weeks because they changed the hospital they deliver at. I believe this is god pushing me to somewhere that actually cares about their patients and provides follow up from appointments. Everytime if had blood work done I have had to call multiple times to get an answer and follow up. They leave Wednesday appointments with no follow up until Monday most times unless you call relentlessly to get an answer . As someone who’s last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage there can be a lot of anxiety waiting for follow up and it’s sad results aren’t loaded quicker into the portal. Also it seems to not be noted anywhere that they do not return calls and are unavailable for patients after 12pm on Fridays unless we contract the emergency line.
Overall experience I had at Reply was subpar at best. Do not expect personalized care here. My concerns were not addressed appropriately and were frequently ignored, especially by Dr. Daggs. After getting no response back, I sought care elsewhere to get my problem addressed and did not see her again. It’s impossible to establish personal connection with any of providers I’ve seen so far (and I’ve seen many!) - you will have to repeat the same information each time to be on the same page because what was said before is not updated in your chart. The disconnect is very apparent.Expect a very long wait time in the waiting room - often over an hour (what is the point of having an appointment time?).Redundant blood draw were done unnecessarily despite letting the provider know beforehand and most important labs were missed and the problem was not brought up until I called to ask. And then more blood draws. They will not check up on you to make sure all the lab results are in or to make sure you’re in good shape. You have to be your own and only advocate here and catch any mistakes they make. I have been patient but after a critical mistake they’ve made I’ve decided it’s time to transfer my “care” somewhere else for my own good.I just discovered to request a hard copy of your own medical records, they charge 50 cent a page.
Reply is a fantastic resource for womens needs. They were very knowledgeable, they gave us space to make the best decisions for family regarding results. The doctors and nurses care and they are connected to other specialists so that you get the answers you need. I would not hesitate to recommend Reply. Dr. White is my doctor and I love her but I also havent met anyone that I dodnt care for at the facility. They look like they are a team thats happy to work together.
Amazing team. You aren’t just a number at Reply. Their team (doctors, nurses, schedulers) all take time to listen to your concerns, do everything they can to help you and you are never rushed. Dr. Urritia and Tia are amazing. Every provider I have seen is attentive and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
The doctors and staffs were very nice and they answered my questions clearly. Also gave me good suggestions. I visit it today for my annual examination. I am surprised that the staff can still memorize my medical history clearly after one and half years from my pregnancy care. Doctors and staffs are friendly and professional. I recommend this facility.
LOVE DR.DAGGS! She was the dr. I had been praying for! She listens to you and makes you feel like a actual patient not just any number. She genuinely cares about each of her patients and wants the best for them. I will never forget her as she brought my son into the world. I will forever continue coming to this place for my future appointments I just wished I would of known about her sooner in my pregnancy. The staff is amazing as well!
My wife experienced a horrible experience being a first-time patient, establishing care. Phyllis Fabello( Practice Managers), is very unprofessional and she talks to a patients like they are not a human being. Phyllis does not care if other patients are there to address you. If you dont know how insurance work or can not search for accurate information then get someone who can do their job! The receptionist named Tiland was able to assist us with compassion and care. My wifes provider at the time Nicole Lewis is a sweetheart and very knowledgeable in caring for her patients!
I’m really sad to be having to leave a review but my experience as of late has been quite disappointing. I was a fertility patient who had been working with reply for almost 2 years now. Since they dropped the OBGYN part of the practice is has been impossible to get ahold of anyone. I have needed to switch medications for a month now and I can’t seem to get a call back. I’ve called and left several messages and told them the urgency of my call. I have switched to Womens Birth and Wellness Center in hopes of having better care.
Reply OBGYN is the best facility Ive visited in the Triangle. When you walk in, youll notice that the lobby area does not look like a Doctors office which really helps to set a comfortable and relaxing setting. Dr. White is caring, considerate, empathetic, and highly skilled which shines right through when you meet her. Dr. White, her nurses and staff have a can do attitude backed by science that many doctors have lost. Their optimism was a blessing to me.
Reply OB/GYN is a fantastic practice. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. I drive from Wake Forest down to Cary just to receive my care there. The office is beautiful and clean, the nurses are all so sweet, and all of the midwives and doctors have been very attentive. The nurses line is VERY prompt if you call. Dr. Daggs is great and I typically see her.
I have changed my OB from Reply to somewhere else at 22 weeks. I wish I had switched earlier. This facility has some awesome people like Dr. Summers and Dr. Daggs (maybe no longer there), but some awful people like the ladies who sits in the reception. Embarrassingly poor management and lack of coordination. It felt like everyone there are autonomous and independent, not working as a team. Definitely they are forced to do a job that they do not love doing.
I really cant say enough about how much Ive loved every experience Ive had with Reply OBGYN. I initially went to Reply following a miscarriage and a bad experience with another provider, and as soon as I walked in, I could feel that the doctors and staff were trauma informed and really understood my anxiety. Dr. Thorp was exactly the person I needed at that time. Because of this, I also went to them for my pregnancy with my rainbow baby (born this past March). The staff really listens and hears you and your concerns. When I felt unsure about something, they encouraged me to just come in and take a look, and that reassurance for pregnancy after loss is priceless. My labor and delivery was filled with unforeseen complications, but Dr. Daggs and Amanda were with me the whole time, arming me with deep knowledge and understanding about my issues, and really treating me almost like a family member. We attended Centering classes, which I highly recommend for new parents, or anyone who did not have an initial positive experience with a pregnancy. My husband and I are eternally grateful for them. They gave us peace during times of uncertainty and brought us our (now healthy) baby boy.
I shouldn’t give this place one star. Under this practice care my baby died when we were 16 week pregnant. I called for an explanation and after a month or two the explanation was that they just dropped the ball. The provider Dr.Sun was going through a miscarriage too. So that was that.
This is the best doctor I have EVER been to. And i have had two previous pregnancies. Dr. Thorp was very informative, asked a bunch of questions regarding my health, my childrens health, as well as my husbands. He was very good at explaining what he was doing and each step that would need to happen from here on out. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable. He joked with us and made us feel like weve been going to this office for years. I would deffinatley reccomend this office to EVERYONE!
I am a patient of Dr. Amina White, and I cannot say enough good things about her, and the practice overall. Dr. White is, by far, the most caring and thorough OB/Gyn doctor that I have ever encountered. She always makes me feel at ease and takes her time to answer all of my questions, and explain any necessary treatment. The office staff are also very friendly and always willing to help. I am so thrilled to have found such a special doctor!
I am currently a pregnant patient at Reply OBGYN, and I have to say all of the midwives, nurses, lab techs, and doctors I have experienced there have been amazing! The only doctor I can say that I havent had a 5 star experience with was Dr. Thorpe (I think he is actually the only male doctor there). I didnt feel like he gave the time and attention to my needs that any of the other folks there do.I do want to give a special shout out to the nurses and lab techs who have taken care of me when I have needed blood draws. Because I have a terrible reaction to having my blood drawn (light-headedness, my hands curl in on themselves and seize up, my anxiety definitely gets the best of me, etc), we have figured out it is best that I lay down anytime I get stuck with a needle. Instead of the normal lab chair, they take me into one of the rooms, so I can lay down for it in addition to dimming the lights and playing relaxing music.Today, when I had to have my 3-hour glucose screening for Gestational Diabetes, they had a relatively low patient flow, so they were able to put me into a room with a recliner (they called it their grandpa chair) with a pillow and blanket. I was able to sleep between each of the 4 blood draws, and my mind was put at ease through the whole thing. They really really went above and beyond to take care of me!I drive over an hour to see the ladies at this practice, and I wouldnt have it any other way to see someone closer.
The fertility education at Reply is so helpful and sets Reply apart from all the other clinics! Donna is amazing!! This is the only place I’ve heard of that teaches women how to listen to their bodies and act accordingly! Donna, Dr. White, Tally, and everyone I’ve met at Reply are extraordinary! They take their time with you and explain everything making sure you know what to expect and what’s next. I definitely recommend coming to Reply!
I switched here due to insurance after becoming pregnant with my second. Few accepted it, and I ended up driving a half hour to go here. This being during covid (September 2020.) There was some confusion since I had my first ob appt at my old practice and my next appts with reply since out of order even though they had records transferred. Some things that were missed for me: referrals, one to mental health, were not made when said they would- took several visits for it to happen, recommendations for aspirin after pre-eclampsia with the first wasnt made until 32 weeks.I received an email a month before Im due that they are switching to deliver at UNC Chapel Hill on May 1st... a short notice for super pregnant ladies like myself. So frustrating and disappointing that I was in the position of having to find a new provider so I can have continuance of care and deliver where I want to, instead of 45 minutes away.In the end, Reply scheduled me at 39 weeks to be induced at Walemed (which due to overflow at hospital, no fault of reply, I didnt get in until 13 hours after appt and ended up going naturally in the end- water broke 2 hours after getting to hospital ::shrug::)
As Always, Dr. Rachel Urittia, always has the patients best interest at heart!!!!! Shes very thorough, and will take as much time as needed and collaborate with you to make sure you are satisfied with her recommendations and your visit!!!!!
This review is based on maternity care as a high-risk OB patient. My review will only cover the providers and staff I have met during my care. I was with this office for over 6 months before transferring my care to another provider around 34 wks.Front Desk: Both were friendly and never disrespectful toward me. They always remembered who I was and would often check me in without me having to give them my name. You would often wait for at least 45mins past your appointment time to be seen. I waited for a full hour past my appointment time just for an ultrasound. This is disappointing, especially considering that they expect you to show up on time for your appointment. No way you are being seen if you show up 45mins late.Billing Staff: Not sure if they have any on site, but I would recommend they get at least one person. With that said, be careful and watch your bills as the answers to my questions were sometimes wrong. I have worked in OB billing for over 7 years and I don’t think they know how its done.Nurses: I had a bad experience with all the nurses I encountered here except for the NP/Midwife, Tally. Tally was amazing, and I loved her while she was there. As for the other nurses, it seemed like my appointments were an inconvenience for them. I had multiple nurses attempting to do a glucose test on me, to check for gestational diabetes. I had to go back and forth with one nurse explaining to her that I would not take the glucose as I am already a type-2 diabetic. She finally asked the Doctor if I need to take the glucose test, the Doctor essentially told her the same thing I did. This happened on 2 separate occasions. The diabetes educator has no idea what she is doing, and her recommendations are not of your normal.Doctors: When I first visited, Dr. Thorp was great, he sat down with me to understand my history/goals for the pregnancy. As I got further along, he stopped remembering who I was. At just about every visit he would mistake me for another patient. The last straw, I was diagnosed with a serious pregnancy complication around 30 weeks. 1wk later according to his ultrasound tech, the condition worsened. He wanted me back in 1wk to follow up and keep a close watch on the issue. I go back in and the problem disappeared w/o explanation. This was a huge red flag for both myself and my husband. I contacted a Doctor I know very well for a 2nd opinion. The numbers the new Doctor got were completely different from what Reply was getting. I don’t blame Dr. Thorp solely for this issue, but I do place some blame on the ultrasound tech they have. She would rush through the ultrasounds, so I do believe she was way off causing me to be misdiagnosed. The ultrasound tech was not friendly, not sure if it was just toward me, but my husband had the same vibe. We were rushed every time and were often given one blurry picture of our baby that couldn’t be made out.Dr. Urrutia – I do not recommend this doctor to any high-risk OB patient at all. Please be careful if you see her. I had several bad experiences with her. She wanted me taking medications that weren’t recommended to take during pregnancy. She also prescribed me way too much insulin causing my blood sugars to drop tremendously. I know for a fact she didn’t read my chart. I had a visit with her and instead of discussing the pregnancy she wanted to talk about contraception and how I can avoid pregnancy in the future. Keep in mind, I have had 4 pregnancy losses before this one so the last thing I want to discuss is how to prevent a pregnancy.Overall, I did not have a good experience with Reply. I hit 34 weeks, and no one had discussed a delivery plan with me or even told me that as a diabetic I should be getting two visits per week at this point. I do not recommend this office for high-risk care. If you are high-risk or have a history of loss, please find another office to go to. Do the best for you and your baby. This office is not equipped to take care of your high-risk needs. I ultimately transferred my care at 34 wks.
I had a very negative experience with my previous OB and I am so glad that this was not the case with Reply OB! I met with all the midwives and Dr. Summers. They were all great, very informative, and the nurses responded very quickly to any concerns that I had. So glad that I chose them for my second pregnancy.
Tia was amazing over the phone with helping me establish care as a new patient. I havent even gone in for my appointment yet and I already feel so at ease and taken care of. Im excited to meet the doctor and see how they can help.
All of the providers at REPLY are top notch and they really do care about YOU! I would not want to try another practice, simply because I have had a great experience with all of the Drs, nurses, and staff. I hope you too, can also experience this at REPLY.
I have had bad experiences with front desk and found Angies information here in the reviews. She called me and heard my experience and tried her best to fix the problem. I believe Reply needs some changes or at least train their staff on how to treat/handle patient calls. I appreciate her calling me and attending to mu issue. If you have any problems please call her!
I haven’t even been seen yet but my experience has already been great! When I called to schedule my appointment I had a little setback but Tia went above and beyond for me to make sure I can get my appointment in and to be seen. She really cares and I appreciate all the hard work she had to do to make it happen.
Fantastic experience, Danielle Lewis was awesome. Asked a ton of great questions and didn’t leave anything unchecked. Very thorough. I LOVE that this place takes the time to find out the real issues going on with women’s bodies and helps addresses them. There should be more places like it. So glad REPLY exists!
I love love love the staff at Reply, everyone is so nice and friendly. Aways willing to help and answer any questions or concerns I may have . Especially, Dr Urrutia whom is so so sweet, Greysi (when shes not giving me a shot... LOL) Emily & Lori.Mrs. Lori, and I have developed a bond during my last trimester. We communicate weekly and she has been a great resource. Again, everyone I have encountered at Reply has been wonderful from the time I arrive until I leave. Best OBGYN Fertility clinic ever!
Fertility Educatir Emily is amazing! I have never felt so comfortable and understood when talking about fertility struggles and learned so many new things from her. I came to find a new gynecologist that wouldn’t only listen to me but my body as well. Mrs Alyssa my Dr was wonderful to lo. I had my appointment with Dr. Daggs today. She specializes in the treatment for subfertility. she’s knowledgeable and fast paced. I had an emotional outburst and lucky she didn’t take it to heart I was just scared of rejection but she understood and seems to be the reproductive doctor one been looking for over 9 yrs! It’s true they do not prescribe no and other meds here because they focus on conceiving and preventing as naturally as possible. We shall see what the future holds so far I’m satisfied..quite update stated protocol of some sort but getting absolutely no follow up from nurses or dr. Daggs. I guess I’ve been put on the back burner. But I’m very patient so I will give it some time but I’m not being informed on anything like I expected even when I check in weeks later. However imma hang in there because emergencies happen and I think they are still worth the time
Most of the staffs I met there are very nice. However, the follow-up scheduling and the communication to the front desk is disconnected. The experience to deal with appointment and test ordering is really painful. They said they sent the test order but the test lab didn’t receive it. I can’t schedule the appointment without order. They said they sent many times, but none received. I called both side many times. Finally, I asked the lab how do they receive order and how many ways they can receive order. It turns out they sent to the wrong fax number. The fax is the only way to receive the order.Right now, they also don’t have enough doctor to take care of patients.
Not at all what I had expected. My primary doctor wanted me to have more in depth testing to ensure that I didnt have any cancer producing cells (which I told them several times when I made the appointment). Unfortunately, I ended up having a video call with the doctor that lasted about 10 mins and was told that well see what happens next year. I definitely didnt need to pay $70 for that. It was a complete waste of time. I dont recommend you going for your gynecological needs.
I absolutely LOVE my Reply Ob/GYN Team!I consider it a blessing to have been recommended to Reply after spending years searching for a doctor who could properly help me with my endometriosis, PCOS and infertility. I was recommended from my former GYN in Baltimore, MD who worked with Dr. White in medical school. From my 1st visit to my 10th visit, Dr. White, the nurses and front office team have been nothing short of skillful and compassionate. During my 1st visit, Dr. White spent over an hour with me, getting to know me, my needs, our goals and reviewing my medical history in great detail.I LOVE that they actually listen to me as a patient and allow me to have a voice in my treatment plan.Sure, it can be a lot of work dealing with a medical team like this that actually holds you accountable for providing information that can help them come up with a better diagnosis. BUT IT IS WORTH IT! The charts are often taxing, but when I begin to see the results of our hard work, that makes it all worth it!If you are looking for a practice that is going to see you in 5 minutes and give you a general diagnosis and treatment plan, then Reply is NOT the place for you.
I do not recommend this place. I dont recommend particularly A Doctor name Dr. SON. She dropped the ball and never did anything to fix it. A wonderful doctor named Dr.Thorp did everything he could to help me. I am so so very grateful for him and that he took my insurance. Although nothing will bring my baby back, im thankful for Dr. Thorp.
Samantha is Lovely. Very kind and patient. We had a virtual meeting about my pregnancy as helped me understand a few things I was missing about it. Looking forward to work with her again soon
I have been coming to REPLY for 5 months now and I have loved the medical professionals and atmosphere from the first time I walked in. Nicole Lewis APRN is my healthcare provider and she never fails to acknowledge and answer any questions, concerns, and needs I may have. I would recommend REPLY and Nicole to anyone!
Transferred from Duke MFM so that I could make use of UNC Chapel Hill for delivery. Finding a physician that was the right fit took some trial and error. But so far Dr. White and the midwife are nice. Unfortunately, overall when compared to Duke, theyre no where in the same league of care, professionalism or immediate resources. Its a small clinic suited for clients without risk factors from what Ive seen so far. (Despite what is stated in the reply below, they only have an ultrasound tech once a week, which in my experience with other high risk facilities, ultrasounds can be done at a moments need. Ive had to repeatedly come back the following week to be fit in for what at a MFM facility would be standard available care. And whats more...they never followed up with me as Cindi stated she would do.)The lactation consultant Lori spent 25% of the consult referencing her own PPD. In fact most of the appt was spent talking about PPD, which was completely condescending, unhelpful, unprofessional and a waste of time. I felt the necessity to be supportive of her issues, ...but in retrospect ... What the heck did I waste my time for? It was supposed to be a Breastfeeding Clinic. I have learned more in breastfeeding tips on Pinterest frankly. Will have to look to La Leche League for a real class I guess. If youre local to this Cary clinic, young, and in perfect health theyre just fine. Its a clean clinic, they offer some basic alternatives to medicinal birth control, homeopathic alternatives for infertility, and the nurses are very very kind.I am anxious to transfer back to Duke after the baby is born. Just trying to get through the pregnancy these last couple weeks one day at a time. Its too late to transfer to a new OB at this point. I will be happy to be done here.Update: After continuing with the clinic I am unimpressed with both Dr. White and Dr. Thorpe. Dr. White is kind, but always rushed or late.I have been made to feel repeatedly that they never review my chart to reference even the last visit notes. Dr. Thorpe asked me if I was going past my due date even though all 3 physicians had insisted it wasnt recommended and he himself scheduled my induction before my due date just 2 weeks prior...THEN FORGOT ABOUT IT!When I initially changed from Duke to this smaller clinic, it was in hope that I would have individualized care and attention. Thanks REPLY for making yet another client feel just like a number.Had my last OB appt yesterday and I wont be back after labor and delivery. D O N E with this mess of a clinic! As if I thought the incompetence couldnt gwt any worse, they call me 5 days before a scheduled induction and tell me they forgot to schedule a cervical check. Are you kidding me! As a high risk patient depending upon their medical care....this exceeds incompetence to malpractice.DO NOT RISK THIS CLINIC. Smiles do not go a long way when it comes to malpractice.
Dr. Thorp and his entire staff are phenomenal! They were able to schedule my wife right away and answered all of our questions. From the front office and through the entire practice; the experience was relaxed and professional. They are very knowledgable and truly have patient care as the top priority.Leigh J. Mack, MD, PhD, FAPCR, CPI
My daughter and I both had a very positive experience at Reply. The office personnel and the staff were attentive and responsive. Dr. Urrutia was very caring. I love their natural approach to fertility and recommend them highly!
I would like to shout out Amanda she always have a great attitude and get things done. My whole team is truly amazing also shout out Barbara, and Emily. Thanks to everyone at Reply
I dont recommend this place. I had to fight to be listened to and then finally was once I worked with Dr Sammi (she was nice & listened), but I was misdiagnosed several times - given unnecessary medications that made me worse, and then just sent off to a specialist to treat me... who said I was misdiagnosed again. I went elsewhere and was immediately diagnosed, treated, and cured. I wish I had left a lot earlier.
Ah was so great to go to reply! The greatest part is just having doctors that actually care about you and want to help figure out what’s best for your body and your life! I felt very listened to and learned a lot about new ways to help myself as naturally as possible! Definitely recommend!!
Excellent staff and doctors specially Dr. Summers- They went out of their way to accommodate my scheduling request at such short notice. They are so kind all of them. Highly recommended for all OB-GYN needs.
Angela Johnson is an AWFUL manager. This practice is ran by people who don’t care about the patients! You’ll notice the front desk staff talking bad about patients and other coworkers LOUDLY. I do not recommend this clinic to ANYONE!!
Not only did it take a month to get blood results- even with me calling a few times for an update Reply Ob/Gyn was a huge disappointment. I was misdiagnosed (proven wrong by other doctors) and did a lot of waiting in exam rooms. On top of everything they struggled getting blood samples and I felt like a pincushion. They were sub par at best.
I just want to say thank you for today. I went to see Dr. Daggs today and I have been to doctors all over the Triangle. I found the nurses and doctor courteous and knowledgeable. I found out some things that no other doctor has told me before. Last but not least, I felt included in my health plan. Endo can make you feel like an outsider, but I felt very included with Dr. Daggs today.
Doctor Urrutia is wonderful, is hard this days to find a doctor who listen all patient concert and take the time to elaborate a good treatment plan .I know i can always count with her advice Dr Urrutia is very knowledgeable.
Welcoming receptionist, clean and nice waiting area.Staff professional and friendly.Dr. Urrutia very detailed caring gentle knowledgeable + have a great bedside manners.Downside: reply app not user friendly.
I love to work with Dr U. She is a client centered breath of fresh air after many negative OBGYN/F experiences. I really appreciate her hard work and care.
Everyone at Reply is beyond caring, helpful, and made my pregnancy amazing. Tally is such a sweetheart and Im so glad I had her as my midwife. I highly recommend this Ob/Gyn to anyone who is pregnant or not.
The WORST place to go! Stuff never able to answer your questions without giving you an attitude, nurses are rude every time I came over I hope nurse Ana had a good day. Asked to talk to a manager and never had a chance to do so. DO NOT GO THERE! HAVE YOUR MONEY AND ENERGY!
A beautiful, supportive team for womens health. I am being taken care of by experts who are willing to share their knowledge with their patients so they can better understand their own bodies! A great experience.
Rachel Urrutia is the best doctor that anyone can have. She cares about the wellness of her patients. Definitely she is the best!
I had a very bad weekend and experience in the ER my follow up appointment was with her. And she made me very comfortable calm and happy after my visit
I was looking for good clinic and I find out this clinic but Surgery coordinator and nurse for charge surgery ,really not kind and not nice attitude.I am so disappointed about not responsibility reaction. They dont care about surgery patient , not attention, not honor pt.Please touch pt heart.
The doctors here are amazing. They will actually spend the time to listen to your concerns and help solve the problem. That is so hard to find these days. The nurses and all the rest of the staff are kind and helpful.
I felt listened to and cared for as a patient and a person, especially since I was coming in as a new patient with a problem. Every single person on staff was friendly and knowledgeable and Im looking forward to future visits!
Dr. Urrutia always does a fabulous job. As a patient I always feel very heard and advocated for. My experience is always great!
There are no words to describe how wonderful this practice is. I have never felt so well taken care. Dr. White listened to my concerns and took them seriously. I would recommend to anyone!
Dr. B was so thorough, kind, & empathetic. I have never experienced this much care with any OB/GYN in my life. I highly appreciate him. Thank you again.
Customer service sucks in this office. They always late when we make appointments. I asked them gently that if I’m late by 10 minutes from my appointment are you going to accept that, they said no. I have transferred from this clinic to Traingle women center.
Dr.B is wonderful! He takes his time to listen to even minor concerns . He is thorough, professional and a very caring physician. Bedside manners A++
Aleisia is straightforward, kind, and listens to my worries and concerns with compassion and knowledge. She always takes what I say seriously and acts accordingly. She is great!
Just as an FYI, this is a practice that is staunchly pro-life to the point that they do not prescribe birth control. The doctor that started this practice frequently testifies in support of passing anti-choice legislature. This is all well and fine as long as that aligns with your personal beliefs, I just wish this was made clear on their website.
I appreciate the doctors knowledge and ideas on how to move forward. He is also very compassionate. I know Im in good hands at Reply
The staff was very kind, helpful and thoughtful regarding my fertility issues. They also helped my husband and provided resources for him. The front room is also very inviting.
Friendly, helpful office staff and nurses. Dr White is great...kind, listens well, takes time to explain things. No complaints!!
The Doctors, nurses and staff are so caring and professional. They went out of there way to help with my sub-fertility. I would recommend this clinic over and over again!
Great experience. The P.A. Samantha is very calming and understanding. My first appointment was a really good experience
Dr. B explained everything he was going to do, did not rush, was patient and LISTENED to me. Office / environment is inviting and staff was prepared.
Aleisa Carlson makes you feel like your the only patient she has that day. So kind and patient. Love her
Be very careful which doctor you choose to carry out your pregnancy with. It’s a very special moment in time that you do not need scarred by ill-practices.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. I felt comfortable the moment I walked in and was takin care off in a timely fashion. Very thorough first check up
Everyone is amazing! From the front office staff to the nurses and doctors! I drive 1hour to come here. That’s how good they are.
Reply should take themselves off of the obgyn list. They are dropping patients and only seeing those in need of fertility treatment. This is so disappointing.
Dr. White is a amazing she takes the time to explain everything in detail. Everyone at this facility is incredibly nice. I would absolutely recommend this facility
I FINALLY left a doctors office feeling heard and cared about and a plan in place. Definitely recommend!
This place is fantastic. All the staff are friendly and caring. Not once have I felt like a number or a check. Each concern is addressed.
I absolutely love this facility Dr Tally and her staff are just simply amazing... They are the best hands down❤❤❤❤
A womans health clinic which does not provide access to birth control? What in the world. One star for the availability of resources.
I absolutely love Reply! Best practice Ive been to ❤
Love the providers but the administrative end is almost non existent. Still sad to have to switch.
Thanks Dr B and Tia for working together quickly to help me with a treatment plan for my debilitating endometriosis pain.
I love it and I love having Dr. Thorp as one of my doctors.
Everyone was very professional, and did a great job taking care of me.
Dr: Vladim Bobrovniko literally is the best. I would recommend him to everyone!
Convenient location in West Cary. Great team of doctors and nurses here.
Everyone is so supportive and caring Dr. B is so kind doctor
Excellent doctor. Very good inputs. Very dynamic.
They are the best so professional it’s amazing.
I just dont understand why it takes them forever to answer the phone...like, what are the receptionist there for if they cant answer?????????????
Worst ever. The wait time is atrocious.
Friendly staff. Lovely place
Amazing care by Dr. Daggs
