Dr. Prakash and his assistant were excellent in extracting a tooth from back of mouth that was said to may have a long root. I felt no pain, only pressure. Tooth was out before i knew it.Thanks Dr. Prakash and Carmen, job well done!
When we arrive checkin receptionist got agitated about insurance information and i spoke up for my daughter informing her that the insurance is the same name but no longer through Medicaid. When the second receptionist came in and she question her about the insurance information, she made a remark”because I don’t want to have to curse the mom out” No matter what she should remain in a professional role at all times. Keep your opinion to yourself. I was using this dentist since you started in Kingstree.
Dr. Prakash and Ms. Willette are awesome! They are both very nice, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I am usually nervous when I arrive, but they make me feel extremely comfortable during my visit.
Beverly Echols was so nice and polite to my wife and myself. This was my wife’s first appointment here and Beverly made her feel so comfortable and at ease. I would recommend this place just off of the great first impression that Beverly gave us!!!
I was very satisfied with my visit today at Lake City Dental Clinic and Rhonda Carraway was a great Hygienist today and I would recommend other patients to this clinic and Dr Chaiwala is a good Doctor she explains everything clearly to her patients as well.
Hope Health is definitely not what it was when I started going to the old office on Palmetto. Even then the wait was outrageous though. First visit I sat there for over 4 hours. I went about the middle of May but couldnt see my primary care provider. For a follow up with my primary care provider its gonna take over a month to see her. Sometimes talking to a human is a ridiculously long wait, same with a call back.I havent felt real good for quite some time and it just seems like theres a lack of compassion and caring that there used to be. I remember when my primary care provider would order just about any test or scan to get to the root of the problem. Not happening these days.
I give it a 2 star simply b/c the medication is discounted and the receptionist upfront was nice. However I’m disappointed in the pharmacy department. My mother received surgery this morning and when we called the pharmacy to follow up about the medication, the woman I spoke with assured me we would receive the medication before they closed also stating we would receive a text message when it was ready for pick up.Fast Forward to 7pm I called up to check b/c we never received a message , no answer from the pharmacy and the automated system stated they were closed. I was a little confused b/c when I googled to see their hours of operation it said they closed at 8pm. I decided to drive up there just to make sure and the receptionist upfront clarified everything for me. We now have to spend a night with out my mother having the antibiotics & pain medicine that she needs. Very displeased!
Dr. Prakash was wonderful with his service helping me and my family with our dental care. From helping me and my mother having our wisdom teeth pulled out, to helping me and brothers having our cavities filled in. He been very helpful along with his nice assistants
Dr. Chaiwala and cilera were so sweet and so helpful with my treatment plan. I felt so comfortable and they made my visit go by so smooth and easy! They were so detailed with what they were going to do and would answer all my questions. Very sweet staff even the ladies at the front desk!
Absolutely love SM Ravi Prakash and his nursing staff especially Karmyn. They are so friendly and outgoing. My husband and I will only see him as our dental specialist.
Always kind and attentive-very professional! I love Dr Hoyle & Britney as well as another nurse I can t call her name - young w blond hair -Dr Hoyle takes care of my many medical needs! Best part ab Dr Hoyle- he is a Christian and has prayed w me and for me on many occasions!! You just can’t beat that! Btw - I have been coming to HH for years. There are a “ few”’bad apples in the bunch but the most part ,my care team has shown compassion and seem to honesty care ab my well being ! For that- I am very thankful
Dr. Prakash is very nice, kind, and gentle. My visits with him are always great. He lets me know every step of the procedure when working on my teeth. His assistant, Karmyn was also very nice and knowledgeable. Everyone is always nice and friendly. I appreciate Dr. Prakash, Karman, and the staff.
Ieshia Copper was very professional and assisted me and answered all my questions with respect.I recommend Ieahia Cooper relieve a raise on her professionalism, duty to job she holds and her mannerisms.I will recommend to family and friends.5*****V/RMr Andrews.Have A Blessed Day.
I enjoy my dental appointment today in lake city with Dr.Chaiwala and her dental assistant Cilera and Ms.Rhonda was very polite and caring at my appointment.
Words cannot express the kindness shown to me by Dr. Chaiwala and Cilera. If you are looking for a genuine, knowledgeable, and experienced team, this is the place. They made my experience pleasant even though I was super anxious! Check them out, you won’t be sorry!
The endocrinology department is the worst department. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was referred to them from my primary who is at HopeHealth. Dr. Gonzalez did not care about my concerns and based her opinion from my labs that were done over a year ago. I asked if I could have more bloodwork done and she refused. I had throughly expressed my concerns about my weight even though I was eating a normal amount and she did not believe me and said that I needed to have proof for her to even consider doing bloodwork at my next appointment ( which I did not go to because I felt so unheard)I tried switching doctors within the office and they refuse to because I’m “established” even thought I’ve only seen this doctor once. I honestly believe she didn’t take me seriously because Im overweight. I can’t wait to switch to a caring doctor who will actually listen to my concerns.
Rhonda and Dr Chaiwala provided excellent dental service. They were both professional and friendly. Both explained what services I was receiving and why. Great experience.
The weekend availability is the best. I am a truckdriver and to be able to see my doctor is outstanding. Dr Kristin W Huntley is my doctor and she is the best. Thank you Dr Huntley and the Hope health team. Yall rock!!!
I visited my primary care for hand/wrist pain. He treated me for gout for 2 wks without bloodtest. Gout wasnt the problem. McLeod hospital for the problem and helped. Timothy Weaver(primary care) on Pineneedels Rd acts as if he doesnt care for patients he sees. Front office/pharmacy staff are friendly. I want to stay with Hopehealth but another primary care
I love going here! Shannon and Sierra are such great people and do a phenomenal job! They’re always super friendly and personable!
I enjoy talking to Shantel because she always greets me with the most warm smile thank you for that I love u keep your smiles coming because it always bright up my day....Thanks to tony,dr.hoyle and Brittany for always being there for me when I needed someone thanks for those warms smiles I looks forward for my visit with each and everyone of you I love yall
If I could give 0 stars thats what I would do, they never take responsibility for failing their patients and will call you a liar for advocating for your child. There is a disconnection between the call center, the office, and the doctors. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE unless you wanna spend 3 weeks every months FIGHTING this office just to get a refill order sent in.
Ive always been one to be afraid of going to the doctor but now I have an amazing doctor her name is Dr Sydney Murphy pine needles road from day one she eased my fear and she got me to trust her in April of this year I had a severe abscess infection in my jaws I called and I told her nurse what was going on she had me in there in about 2 hours not 2 days then she refured me to my dentist who I love and appreciate and adore Dr. Collin Spencer he is on irby Street and the crazy thing is I also work here so I know its a very clean place but back to Dr Collin from day one I told him I was petrified of all dentists except doctor Griffin advanced dental care but that was when I was a teenager I ended up having Medicaid and I had problems with my teeth from my Early 20s I told Dr. Collin I had a monster in my mouth Dr hyden on warley street is a monster the old man I think he has a son so this was in 2008 the last time I ever let someone play around in my mouth that man gave me post-traumatic stress syndrome im not kidding I but I when say these 2 Doctors are the next best thing to sliced bread trust me they really care and God knows im a tough nut to crack and they did it i love you Guys and yall need to check out Hope health they have suites for all kinds of health problems and its affordable i pay $20 a visit thats it look at God ok see you all very soon
Ieshia Cooper at the HopeHealth on Irby St did a wonderful job helping me today. I really needed financial help, and she took the time to explain my options and made sure that I had everything in. I dont know what I wouldve done without her help. Petition to give Ieshia Cooper a raise!
Dr.Chaiwala and Cilera in Lake City Dental did exceptionally well and I enjoyed the experience.
My name is Willie Dixon, I enjoyed my visit to Dr Hoyle’s office today. Everything went well, everyone one was very nice 7/17/24 Wednesday.
Toni, Leah and Brittany in Dr Hoyles office are always amazing and helpful. I appreciate the time and care they take with my mother and the entire family.
Dr Prakash and Jonathan were awesome. They have patience they are very skilled and they are caring. I recommend everyone to seek Hope Health Dentistry. THANK YOUU SO MUCH.
Dr Chiwala and Rhonda are an awesome team. My husband Bobby and I both had an awesome experience.
Rhonda Carraway. She is very good and always have a good attitude when she is working on your teeth.
Ive been blessed to have Dr. Spencer and Rhonda Carraway theyre Awesome 👌. Im loving it Im really going to miss Rhonda Carraway.
I really enjoyed my visit at the dentist. Dr.Chaiwala and Rhonda took really good care of me.
Well, I remember when Hope Health was on Evans when care was compassionate and common-senses was used. Now Hope Health as lost sight of what they were which is extremely sad. Most people employed at Hope Health should not be. They bring in medical students, doctors that just come out of medical school that has no real experience and is there only until they find there next job. Hope Health is great in the beginning, however, its like a bait and switch kind of thing. The staff in general has absolutely no problem lying to the patient. It is advisable that if you are considering going to Hope Health that you record every meeting (One Consent Law: SC 17-30-30 as long as you are one of the parties in the recording, you do not have to tell anyone you are recording them) Protect yourself.
This place is a joke along with the staff. Some of the rudest people Ive ever met. Trying to get an appointment here, was like getting FBI secrets! Dont waste you time with it.
Ms. Rhonda and the Dr. was very relaxing with me.Thank God! I will give them a 5 Stars.
I dont think theres a real doctor in the whole . They dont treat people and the amount of missing an inaccurate information in my records is preventing me from getting proper healthcare elsewhere
They dont care about you or your health and they definitely dont help you. Sent me back to work with back problems and numb feet which made me a fall risk. Now doctor is never in and they wont refer me to a doctor that will help
VERY VERY POOR SERVICE NOW and very disappointed in how yall have transitioned 2 very important family members. Id like the head of Hope Healths Florence facilities contact information before I leave such a negative review here. A good word dosent go very far, but a bad word goes a long, long way
Best place for dental treatment. Also Dr. Chaiwala was vary helpful with my dental need.
This is to shout out Rhonda, the dental hygienist. Rhonda rocks!! I was promptly taken to the back for my cleaning. She explained everything clearly and thoroughly. I was today years old when I was told that I was brushing AND flossing wrong. She took the time to show me the correct way for each which is something NO ONE has ever done....I was just always told to make sure to brush and floss my teeth. As an educator myself, I will always appreciate someone teaching me something new.
Lord Amanda office is a life saver I was in and out her office for about an hour at least. Looking for a good doctor.cause Julia gage aint it. You go see her after you have surgery.she aint pull up no reports . she looking at you like why you here. I had Mrs Julia gage for years. But she just need to hang it up. Cause clearly she is over her job.Julia gage front desk is rude.Julia gage will have you waiting for almost 3 hours. And dont care. Just be stareing at her computer. Like she doing the most. They nw give you refreshment while waiting to be seen. Thank goodness for that.they are improving alot I dont goin the front them ladies be mean mugging you they barely act like they dont want to speak. I go on the sides the lady & she go above & beyondthat be on the side be so sweet & friendly & the pharmacy area .
I had had a terrible experience at the dental office inside of Hopehealth and was not able to be seen because of my blood pressure. Now I go to the doctors office regularly and have my blood pressure checked and it never had my blood pressure that high, everywhere else but there I told them I worked in the medical field for 30plus years and never heard such a thing and the person who took my blood pressure stated everyone’s blood pressure be high when they come there. You might need to check your equipment. I won’t be going there anymore 👋🏽
I had the most amazing dentist appointment today at Hope Health! The fragrance in the air at the office was not intimidating starting from my check in to my cleaning to my dental exam. Dr. Spencer and my hygienist, Rhonda, were the Chick-fil-A of dentistry! It may seem crazy, but I truly enjoyed myself! I was truthfully educated on my oral health & better ways to improve it. I give them a 20 out of a 10!💜
Dr. Motiani is great. I appreciate the quality healthcare offered at Hope Health.
My visit was great. Ms. Leah, mis. Toni nd brittany where awasome. They where very helpful at my visit today
Started out great but sadly Ive had to come up with a new provider. Would NOT recommend ever again! First visit was a wonderful experience however it was ALL downhill after that. The initial staff downstairs in reception when you walk in the door is bright and cheerful greeting you upon walking in; however that will be the only polite people you will encounter. The reception staff in the individual Dr offices upstairs are loud, rude and completely obnoxious. You have NO privacy at all. You have to yell out PERSONAL INFORMATION. I do NOT appreciate the fact you can simply say there are no changes to my address, phone number or insurance. I tell them Ive lived at my address and have not moved in over 20 years but I still have to say the address out loud, same with the phone number and insurance. Even when you say theres no changes you still have to verbally tell them the information where theres a dozen people sitting there in the waiting area listening. Once I went for an appointment and was sick of having to say my info out loud so I wrote it all down on a piece of paper. The lady was so incredibly rude and too lazy to read the paper. I will NEVER go to these people again and if you care anything about your privacy and personal information then I wouldnt recommend.
I have been going to Dr. Hyler since I was a teenager. Great Dr. and has great staff.
Dr Chaiwala from Lake City Dental is the best
Dental health services was so kind and informing to my mother. I highly recommend going here! Rhonda makes it where the dentist isn’t so dreadful and fixes any negative outlooks one may have about attending one. Awesome staff and so accommodating ❤️
Shantel is always nice and willing to go beyond her duties to help patients
Have a good visit with Dr. Chaiwala, Rhonda and Shannon.
I took a relative there for a new patient visit and they were phenomenal. Every encounter we had with each employee through the process of registering, the doctor visit, the lab work and the pharmacy was exceptionally good. They were prompt, respectful, compassionate, caring and more. This office provides so many different services to patients and if you have financial struggles they have a program to help out with medical costs, which is a huge help to so many people. The cafeteria was clean and the food was good. Celeste Rowland took care of all of the new patient paperwork and was so kind and helpful. I’m thankful to know that this is a place that care about their patients and the staff were all nice and had positive attitudes!
I had an appointment at the Timmonsville office. They asked me for me to be there by 7:45 for an 8:15 appointment. I was there by 7:50 after an hour of waiting I finally left. Nobody gave me any kind of explanation as to why the provider wasn’t there and the receptionist Paul sitting there looking like a deer in the headlights. Everything about Timmonsville sucks. I’m shocked that the situation happened bc HH is usually good . There’s more to this story but I’m truly disgusted!!
I have to Edit my review, Gladly, I have to say my visit of Sept.2022 has me surprisingly pleased. Another location can make a world of difference. North Irby Street is easy to get to, open concept, clean and non suffocating. Reception area is not to inviting, along with the receptionist gives one the feeling of being institutionalized! Yikes!!! The staff on the endocrinology floor were Fabulous without question. Friendly, caring and helpful. Everyone worked quickly & I was ready to see Dr Barrera within minutes upon arriving. Barrera entered quickly & w/out dragging his feet was extremely efficient. Very knowledgeable w/out being stuck up. Felt like there was amble time to discuss, edit & treat my illness & concerns. Never felt rushed or cut off. Finally a Physician that has a Brain & a Heart. Wow has my Faith been restored ?? We are off to a good start. Conclusion: don’t always judge a business by it’s staff.
Rebeca in billing was very helpful and nice. She kept me updated and called back as needed. Also, I am a patient of Dr. Gilbert, and he is a wonderful doctor! Waiting time is not bad at all!
Ms. Ieshia Cooper was so helpful. She helped me get my scale application set up. She very knowledgeable about the services Hope Health on Irby has to offer. She has a pleasant and sweet demeanor.
WORST PLACE EVER ! After driving an hour an 40 mins I was denied care because I had my twins boys who are developmentally delayed . I was told to TAME my children or my physical would not be done !!!!
It took me over 1.5 months to get a return call from the “welcome” center— even when leaving multiple voicemails expressing that I was experiencing mental crisis and needed help. Once I finally got an appointment 2 months after my first call. Debra Garrison’s office was great. Thorough and very kind staff and NP. However, NO ONE tells you that you need to be NPO for labs- so unless you have lab knowledge, you will have to come back another day. Which means taking more time off of work, unless you can work all day without eating. Then, no one tells you that the lab is a separate entity, so you will need to bring your insurance card unless you’re going to pay out of pocket. So that required that I take even more time off of work to come back another day with my insurance information which they scanned and had me fill out 2 sheets of paperwork on. They are extremely unhelpful when it comes to explaining processes. And yes, I should have called and asked these questions before coming- but it takes AT LEAST 35 minutes on the phone to actually get an answer— taking more time away from work, unless you have a job that allows you to have personally phone calls of this duration during hours. Overall, I am extremely let down by HopeHealth, I’ve heard good things in the past, but they have definitely gone downhill.
I have been a patient with HopeHealth for years now. I am satisfied with my primary care physician, and Dentist. For this reason, I continue to stay with Hope Health. However, I am very dissatisfied with the Front Desk Representatives in the front entrance. I had an appointment on 4/6/2021, and that went well. After my appointment was done with, I was told to go downstairs to talk with someone about renewing my sliding scale fee. I spoke with the young lady at the front desk to let them know what I needed, and was told to have a seat and someone will call my in the back to be seen. I sat there waiting for an hour. I realized everyone was packing to leave, walking past me and not one staff member stop to ask had I been seen. Everyone just walked past me looking at me and carrying on conversations as if I didnt matter. I had to finally get up and ask did you guys forget that Im sitting here waiting to be seen. Finally ,The young lady at the front desk went to see what the hold up was, then returned to tell me that everyone had already gone for the day. She asked me to leave my name and number, so that someone in finances could call me back to handle the matter. I have not received a call yet. This is the second time this has happened. I feel as if my time is just as valuable as theirs are, and they have a job to do that was not complete before leaving the facility. I was not valued as a patient in this department, as well as having to leave there and get my medicine from Longs Pharmacy and it not be ready after waiting over an hour. From my experience some of the front desk workers, and staff members were more concerned with complimenting each others attire, being on their cell phones, and clocking out to leave for the day, rather than making sure patients needs were met. I am starting to see more of this happening at this HopeHealth location, and I am very dissatisfied with my visit in this matter.
This is an edit. HopeHealth is declining in patient care and in staffing. Multiple calls a month are now required to get basic things done. Office staff either is not communicating or not returning information to patients. I was just suggested by office manager to find a new doctor because they no longer have an MD to write scripts that Ive been on for several years.Very disturbing the lack of concern or care that Ms.Dixon exhibited from the beginning of the conversation.Dr. K is why we are here and why we will stay. Staci is hands down the BEST nurse she has ever had and weve been with Dr. K for 13 years. Weve had a hard year and probably havent been the easiest patients, but weve always been met with kindness, understanding, and honesty. Dr. K is one in a million!
My initial visit was awesome as far as the intake specialist Celeste Rowland, was concerned. She made me feel valued, welcomed, and comfortable. She was very efficient, as well as had a friendly demeanor. If all employees at HH were like here, no one could ever go wrong.
We like our doctors, but the facility likes to maximize charges to insurance companies that you might have to pay out of pocket. Billing department is horrible, slow, and unresponsive. It took three months to find out specific charges. Billing ignores phone calls, voice mails, emails, and returning with answers promised. Instead they just spam you with bill statements. My suggestion is to find a doctor that doesn’t work in this facility.
Wendy blew me away. When I went to Hope Health as a new patient she was the employee who called my name and I am so glad that she did! She was so enthusiastic and welcoming. During my visit, she was friendly, talkative, and made me feel very comfortable. She was very informative on their programs and mobile app (which by the way is super helpful.) Later she gave me a full tour, and not just a theres that, then over here is this... tour, She gave me a tour like she was selling me a home! She was so excited and lively, she took me to each division, explained what to do when (and if) I needed to go to that division. She also pointed out employees and said go to (NAME) if you need help, theyre the best. During the tour, she spoke to patients almost everyone we passed in the halls. She asked, how are you today?, Did your appointment go well? She even knew who some of the patients were with their masks on! Near the end of my tour, she walked me up to where my appointment was. We talked about each others life events, achievements, struggles, and everything in-between. She made me feel relatable. I have never experienced great service such as hers and it was so unexpected! Thank you, Ms. Wendy, you made my day so brighter, which is tough during times like these. Phenomenal Job!
Had a scan done on my stomach on Jun 29 and have yet to get my results.. I have been calling leaving messages and still no return call. This is very unprofessional, by now someone should’ve review my message or file. This makes me not feel value as a patient and definitely don’t wanna see my previous dr anymore because her or her nurse doesn’t follow up. Is there another I can call to speak with someone so I can atleast get my results.
Hope Health used to be a good place to go to for medical assistance. In the past I had no problems but now I had a doctor who stereotypes me. I was trying to have my doctor changed but to no avail. I respect myself enough not to be treated like that. Im also taking action in a legal matter with the doctor. Hope Health is not a good name for this place because hope gives encouragement not discouragement
Ive been a patient with hope health for ~10 years now. Doctors have always been fine. Recently, however, your services have been HOPELESS. Its damn near impossible to get anyone on the phone. Ive had this experience with 3 referrals over the last year where it takes 3+ weeks just to get a call back. Ive been trying to reach someone about imaging my Dr ordered over a week ago, but nobody will answer my call or return my messages. Still dont have an appointment for my images. Pretty sick of it!
I just transferred to Dr. Taylor Thompson office and I loved her. Its the staff that made me mad. I had a 8am appointment (yes I was late) (Florence morning traffic) I rushed up there. Two employees talking, chilling in the back. Front desk person said Aww shes not here ,shes sick seriously????!! No call or nothing. I sat in Traffic and hour!!!! No one called me. It was only 8:13am. But I received a call late the day before reminding me of my appointment 🙄. The first experience was when I was waiting on my prescription, I was told it was sent to the pharmacy twice. Still waiting. I called back to Dr. Taylors office and then the Girl was like Oh ill get that fill for you. Waiting whattttt. I thought it was sent hours ago. She tried to down play it. But I knew it wasnt ever sent. Horrible experience.
Everytime we come here it’s 2.5 to 3 hours just to get a shot, or to draw blood work. There’s no excuse for it. It’s not just 1 or 2 visits, this is the case for every visit thus far and this has to be at least the 4th or 5th time we’ve been here. We took my baby to his dr without an appointment, when the lobby was packed with people and got his flu shot and it only took 30 minutes at the most. It seems like a lot of goofing off is going on behind the scenes. They callIt hope health because you will spend the whole time hoping they will hurry up, hoping it will be over sometime soon, but it won’t be. Just go ahead and plan to be here at least a 3 hours.
I typically don’t write reviews, however I felt like this one was needed. One of my closest friends referred me to HopeHealth to become a new patient as well as to seek counseling. I was very hesitant at first, but when I walked through that door, everyone was so nice and helpful. Priscilla Ham was the first point of contact and she was such a warm welcome. She asked me if someone was assisting me and she made sure that I got to the right person and to the right place. Then I met Jennifer Nettles and she was so helpful. She walked me through the process of become a new patient and it was smooth and informational. She answered all my questions and made sure I was all squared away before I left her office. HopeHealth even got me in for an appointment the same day! I was very excited about that! I didn’t have to wait an extra week just to get seen! When I came back that same day, I meat Michelle Poston and her staff, and they were such a delight. I really felt like I was heard when I was expressing my concerns, Michelle Poston went above and beyond not only listening and finding solutions, but really made sure that I was comfortable with everything and had multiple options to explore and research. The last person I had an encounter with was Tevin Leary, and he was more than just helpful, he was considerate and compassionate. He made sure that I felt comfortable and ready for the next step in my journey. This experience had to be the best yet concerning doctor visits. I felt like I was handled with care and with genuine hospitality.
I met with Celeste Rowland and she was so very helpful, helping me set up and understand mypatient portal. She was pleasant and patient as we talked @ my annual wellness visit and otherHopeHealth services. I am very grateful to knowHer.
The doctors here are great, wait times could definitely be better. I have at times waited for 3 hours before being seen. The people at the front desk are sweet as can be. But the on call after hours employees could definitely use some work. We were unaware that every hope health was going to be closed today (Wednesday October 7th). We planned to call to have my husbands heart medication refilled, he runs out tomorrow morning and takes this medication more than once a day. The on call operator was extremely rude. We were already stressed out and worrying about getting my husbands medication filled and I expressed that to her. If my husband doesn’t have it filled in time he will end up in the hospital. She had absolutely no sympathy and was very short and rude with me on the phone. The best she could tell me was to call tomorrow and hopefully they can fill it in time or to just take him to the hospital. I was clearly upset and stressed out over this and that was the best she could say. I understand she may not have been able to do anything but she should have had a little sympathy and at least been friendly or acted like she cared. After she told me to take him to the hospital because she couldn’t even put in a note for the doctor or anything at all. She hung up the phone while I was still talking. Highly disappointed over this. We had no way of knowing the office would be closed today and if we had known, this would have been avoided.
I am saddened by the experience that Hope Health left me with today.I have been a patient at Hope Health for years and with Dr Sonja Scott for at least 7 of those years.I have never had a negative thing to say until this year honestly. All i wanted was to make an appointment and the staff gave me the run around for over a week, then as my last attempt today, they still wouldnt just let me set an appointment. They kept wanting to tell me the same thing over and over, tranfer me to everyone but the person that MAKES APPOINTMENT. It wasnt the first time but it will definitely be my last. Good Riddance
Ive had a great experience with the staff and doctors.. very cordial,
Have been here twice now once for me and my husband. The waiting times are very long way after our appt times. The doctors didnt seem to care at all about our well being. I was supposed to have many calls back from the scheduler and still have not got any call backs. All of the people who welcome you when you first walk in are very nice and welcoming tho. Will not be going back to hope health they sure were not any help at all !!
I have been a patient for 5 months with Dr. Barrett who has been very patient and understanding to my needs. He actually listens to what I say. However one of the nurses there[Shala]who is in charge of filing the forms for me to get my pain medicine is not so understanding. I am on disability and have some very serious health issues. All she has to do is contact my insurance company and get the necessary forms approved. For 4 months now she has told me the forms have been approved. Without it I have to pay out of pocket which I cannot afford yet she seems to be very unsympathetic to my needs. After contacting my ins. company I found that she had just contacted them that morning when she had told me the day before that it was approved. Again I had to pay for it myself. I was always courteous to her but when I call she is always rude and short with me. She even hung up on me the last time I spoke with her. A person with that kind of attitude should not be in the medical profession where you are paid to help people.
Wait times are too long. HopeHealth needs to fix its scheduling.1. When I schedule my check ups, they give me a slip with the time on it. By the time the appointment is close, I get a reminder phone call, and it’s always for a different time.2. When I show up for my appointment, every single time, consistently, I wait no less than 30 min in the waiting room, and then another 30 min in the room to see my provider.I am finding a different provider somewhere. This has been a waste of time every single time. If my appointment is for 8am and I’m not seen until at least 9am, then schedule me for 9.
It’s this new phone system that y’all have it’s horrible getting people on the phone now. I have to wait 30 mins to 2 hrs on hold to speak to anyone. Then when you do you are put on hold again to be transferred. You might get through and it might hang up. Who has time to waste like that and who thought that this phone system was a good idea bc it’s not. It was much easier calling directly to the office! 🙄🙄
Such a wonderful experience at Hope Health today. It was my young adult sons girst visit there. He has Down Syndrome and has never been given so much compassion and respect. Our patient ambassador, Wendy Frierson was top of the line! She was very professional but also very caring in making sure we knew all services available to him. She explained things perfectly and when we left her I felt we had made a friend ! From the time we entered until the time we left we were treated with the utmost care and respect. He was treated by Christie Evans who was also very compassionate and knowledgeable in her field. I feel like weve found home! Five stars for everyone in our path today. I highly recommend such a wonderful medical facility!
Time spent is usually always over 2 hours. Was called in for a pill count (which I dont have a problem with) but was told I shouldnt have been because I was never given a controlled substance contract to sign and took 1.5 hour out of work. Phone calls are never returned. Sitting in one of the rooms now and have been here for 1.5 hours and still havent been seen (typical) Currently looking for a new provider. Thankfully my insurance is really good so it shouldnt be too hard. Sad they have such a nice new facility but are so unprofessional.
I had an emergency extraction done by Dr.Toby Wright.I am so relieved with the whole experience. Dr. Wright was extremely calming and obviously excellent at his job. Ellen was excellent as well. Ellen put my mind at ease and informed me of the information that I needed. Thank you very much guys. I think getting an adult treasure chest would help a ton😄 maybe have some bath bombs, spa masks, other cool adult things like that 😎
Hopehealth care leaves a lot to be desired . I love my primary doctor. But the other doctors have issues mot leaving you waiting for up to two hours after your appointment time , sending letters out with time and date of appointment that when you show up for the appointment they inform you (even though you have it in writing) that your appointment is for another day . Or the doctors come in The room after your long wait and only give you 9 min and then send you on Your way. Customer service is very rude at times and sometimes the people who call to verify your appointment are as well. Hopehealth needs a very big over haul.
Hope Health has to be THE worst facility we have ever been to. Referrals, orders, prescriptions arent put in continuously. I called one person Nov 3, called 3 people on Nov 13, called 3 people on Nov 18, walked up to the front desk and the woman put in 3 phone encounters on Nov 20. And NO ONE except 1 lady called me back and it was about medicine and now the dizziness went away. My son is 21 and the counselor told him no one is calling me back because hes 21 and he needs to call, but the counselor looked right at me when we came in and he never even spoke to me and told me that. And I left 2 voicemails and a message with the front desk. My son has learning disabilities and communication problems. He doesnt know what to do if his medicines arent called in, referrals arent being sent, questions about billing, etc. No one has even called to explain the policy or why they cant talk to me and I have 2 releases on file. I was told I would definitely receive a call today and I do not have one!
My family and I just moved to Florence in Nov 2019. Our ped in Charleston, SC gave us the recommendation to see Dr. Foxworth and raved about how amazing he was. Unfortunately, we havent even been given the chance to see him due to his front office staff, nor will we ever. I went online to fill out the become a patient forum for all three of my children. I later followed up with the office to see if there was anything further I needed to complete in order to schedule my childrens appointments. I was able to speak with one person (I forgot her name), she stated she did not see any information on my children - to give her a few minutes and she would call me right back. As Im sure you can imagine, I never received that call. I called the following day, getting the answering service and then them transferring me to a voicemail. I left a message per usual. Never received a call back. The following week, I still had not heard anything from them. This is also in between me calling multiple times. The whole week went by and still nothing. It is now 1/29/20 - I called and left another voicemail yesterday and still have not heard from anyone. I sincerely hope his front office staff can get their acts together because there is no telling how many potential patients they may have lost due to their lack of customer service abilities.
First I would like to say that I love my physician, Dr. Joseph Acaylar. He has always been very professional and has cared about me and my health. I followed him from his previous practices because he truly knows his profession and how to treat his patients. Kudos Doc! You are a great man.Second I would like to say that in the years I’ve been a patient at HopeHealth, Weston Oates (Dr. Acaylar’s assistant) has been more than gracious and helpful to me, so I was saddened when he left to pursue other employment. When he was there, I could phone him or e-mail him and I was always treated with dignity and respect by him. He took good care of me and I will forever be grateful for his kindness and assistance with the bureaucracy in getting efficient and timely care, especially when it came to the paperwork required by HopeHealth.Sadly things at HopeHealth (ironic choice of name lately) have deteriorated considerably and I’m no longer satisfied with the customer care. The office staff is lacking in care and they need more training in customer relations. In a time when social distancing is encouraged, I’ve been relegated to making the drive to the office to drop off sliding scale applications or prescription assistance forms when it would be more prudent to stay home and handle things electronically (we are after all in the 21st century where this means of communication is indeed possible and frankly, preferred). There is no more e-mailing or faxing paperwork allowed (according to my telephone communications) and I have even been forced to ration my medication until the bureaucracy has been resolved. This is not very “hope”ful or very “health”y (notice the quoted words). I am well aware that I need an in-person visit every six months to maintain an acceptable health situation, but to constantly have to appear in person for paperwork is not very efficient.I am at a crossroads now as to whether or not I should seek care elsewhere. I don’t want to leave Dr. Acaylar and would like to see a return to a more efficient and congenial experience, but I am afraid that this will not happen. If I could give five stars to Dr. Acaylar I would, but my overall experience honestly doesn’t deserve the one star I am giving.
Uncooperative. They did not bill the insurance correctly and wont return calls to fix. Keep charging us for preventative care that insurance fully covers. Finally paid them tso theyll stop sending a bill, because they wont answer the phone or get back to you after you leave a message. Didnt do a complete physical, which might be good as theyd charge me.
I have been a patient of Doctor Culpepper for years, since he practiced in his old HopeHealth office where I received excellent healthcare services. Though ever since hes moved to this office, its been horrible. Every time I call I am connected to answering machines that dont say who they are for. No one ever calls back. I left dozens of messages with the patient advocate, who never bothered to call me back and let me know what was happening (or not happening) with my referral to a specialist. I have had a sinus infection for two weeks, and have called and asked for help every day this week, and been ignored. It took his nurse five weeks to fill out a form I needed for work properly. I could have lost my job. I had to talk to a supervisor (who was unavailable) to get that paperwork filled out correctly. I hate to leave such an experienced and compassionate doctor, but I cant take this offices treatment much longer. I feel constantly blown off, ignored, and like a chore the staff just dont feel like dealing with. The ladies in the lab excluded, at least they are friendly and professional.
This place is horrible! Since I’ve been dealing with Hope Health I’ve changed doctors 3 to 4 times! No patient shouldn’t be changing doctors like that! Now they telling me it’s a 45 day wait until the doctor approves a new patient! In the meantime I already been to the hospital 3 times! I can’t stand NONE of the secretary that answers the phone! One lady hang up on me and as usual they always have an attitude! Nobody never calls back I’ve actually been turned away for an appointment ! Then my current/previous doctor doesn’t take nothing I say into consideration! All she does is tell me what I can get OTC in that case I can be my own doctor!
Let me start by saying if you’re looking for mental health help for your children, do not come here. I started coming in about 5 years ago now because I needed treatment for my ADHD and various other mental illnesses. I was still made to see a pediatrician, despite the fact that I a) was almost 15 b) needed mental health help. I was able to get meds for anxiety, but not ADHD as that specific doctor DID NOT BELIEVE in prescribing ADHD medication. I begged this man to transfer me to the mental health department for 4 years. When he finally did, it was okay. I also found out that he claimed I was diagnosed but never put it on my record. He also put me up for therapy with a children’s therapist when I was almost 18. If your babies have mental illnesses, these people will let them suffer. Could not have had a worse experience.
My wife and I both see our Family Physician at this location and couldn’t ask for any better treatment. We have also utilized other services here as well with no problems with the exception of Dental Services.Dental Services here are almost non existence with the slightest patient care possible. My wife saw a Dentist there when one of her teeth fractured.Only requiring an extraction and some antibiotics, she was prescribed an antibiotic and referred to a Private Dental Practice with a three week wait time.In the meantime she was told by the Dentist at HH that she couldn’t prescribe anything for pain and couldn’t see her until she was evaluated by the Private Practice Dentist. After calling for an Emergency visit,It was 24 hrs. before we heard anything from them. Then the call we got was from the Dental Services Director trying to patch things up.My advice is if you need dental work find somewhere else to go.
Shannon in lake city sc did great!
There are no words to describe the nightmare that dealing with Mary Mitchells office has become. My Elderly mother may not survive a seizure. I have been calling for near a week to get her seizure medication called in. The phamacy has also been requesting. Of course, when I call to complain and they put me through to someone in her office, they act like its brand new. They tell me that theyll take care of it when they Settle in and let me know that I shouldnt wait until the last minute next time. There is no excuse for the incompetence here. There is no communication at Hope Health which poses a real danger to anyone who is a patient.
Hope health could be a great place but they fire the good people that work hard and hire friend that they are cool with that has no idea what’s going on and they also look into your medical records before you are there to so call prepare your file and have medication already approved even if you don’t want or need the medication that is against HIPAA guidelines, so how can I feel safe and protected when I get there?
Hope health seemed like a great place and everyone was so nice, with the exception of Dr. Lisa Lanning Lowther. She demonstrated bias upon our visit, she was rude and condescending, she made a pre judgement and assumed we were junkies and were only trying to get high. The issue was for chronic pain from blood clots for a loved one. I told her I was very offended by her assumptions and her response was sorry you feel that way with a smirk on her face. At that time, I felt it necessary to reintroduce myself by my hard earned title of Doctor as well. Then her tune changed and she became interested in my pedigrees and began the apology tour. She chalked it up to her having a long day. Now keep in mind, this was the first visit and when I told her that she came in the door biased, she replied that it was hard not to. This is only the surface of what happened on our visit, but she did mention she was going to be transferring back to McLeod Health to teach new residents full time in October. Lets hope her unprofessionalism and poor attitude doesnt rub off on them.
Mrs. Marshall Nesmith is an excellent patient ambassador; she is very knowledgeable answered all my questions. She is a very nice person and great addition to Hope Health.
Three times i called and left messages for Mary in rheumatology to make sure she had received my medical records from my rheumatologist in California. Never received a call back. Then I made an appointment. I wore the Sneeze Shield type face mask after I got in and was doing the processing paperwork. Then I was called back and was going over things in the computer. Towards the end of that the lady called the doctor and explained I was wearing the sneeze shield type face shield guard because I have had a heat stroke when I was younger. I get overheated very easy if theres no moving air and more so if I have a mask on. I get light-headed and nauseous. The doctor refused to see me. They could have saved me a trip if they specified it had to be the cloth type mask
Horribly LONG wait time every time. I have come at all different times if the day and no matter what, yhe appt takes 2.5 hours!Medical errors! At a follow up appt, the tech came into the room to do an EKG but we were here for wrist pain! When we questioned her, she was very rude stating that the doctor ordered it. We insisted that this could not be correct and she rudely left to tell the doctor. She came back in several minutes later stating that she came to the wrong room!Have not had a good experience yet.
Recently I was hospitalized for 5 days. I was discharged on a Sun and by Mon morning I was again sick. I called my Dr on Mon, 3 times on Tues and once on Wed. morning. NEVER received a response back and ended up back in the hospital for dehydration. Horrible disregard for patients. Ill never ever seek treatment there again. I was a patient there over 10 years.**I finally got a call back, the day after I made this post** It was not from the Doctor or nurse or anyone that cares about my actual health. It was from the man that handles bad reviews!! Just one more thing to prove they dont care about their patients BUT do care about bad reviews!!!
My husband was referred to Hope Health back in January. To this day, we still have not received a phone call ( he has called multiple times) or an appointment date. My husbands regular doctor has called over there as well. Get it together people!!
The treatment I endured at this place is disgusting. Sonja Scott was my primary care practitioner for almost three years until their true hateful nature showed through. I brought a form from the DMV (state agency) to be filled out by my doctor which simply asks how I identify my gender. Something the prescriber of my gender affirming hormone replacement therapy would know well. She refused to fill it out and did not even explain why. Not only that but coldly sent someone I never met to tell me this after I waited all day. Karen Simmons became very defensive when I asked why then if I could see Ms Scott or anyone I had at least met prior, before I just left empty handed with no explanation. Since I need this form to have the correct gender marker on my license or face constant humiliation. She proceeded to threaten to call security on me even though she was the one who seemed infuriated. I wanted someone in security there myself because by this point I felt very uncomfortable with her tone of voice and level of indignation. Security called the customer service manager to discuss this with me. The customer service manager said they humiliated me needlessly as there was no need for security. This was bigotry and transphobic behavior demonstrated blatantly something I have never seen in a supposedly professional environment! I was floored and they knew I had been without a drivers license since my wallet was lost 3 weeks prior and just didnt care. At my last appointment one week prior to this their nurse talked to me at length about their fiancés genitalia after mentioning mine twice. I am a peaceful and somewhat timid person with people I dont know well so I let it go in favor of focusing on the reason I was there but I was embarrassed. I dont know if this will have an effect but this is not right and people should know. I plan to contact the American civil liberties union as well.
I had an appointment on December 23 at 7 pm (tonight). I called several times during the day to see if they had a cancellation so I could come earlier. Around 5:10, they called to tell me to come on in immediately so I did. Arrived around 5:30 barely 20 minutes later. It is now 7:24 and I have yet to be seen. In other words, I could have waited til 7 as I have spent an hour and a half sitting in pain in the lobby when I could have just as well sat in pain on my comfortable chair, dry and at home until 7.
Its been a long time since Ive been there. Everything is new and different than the last time. Ive been there in 2015 and 2016. Ive moved back in 2021. Now, Im starting to see Doctors at Hope Health. Mrs. Wendy Frierson has been very helpful with me and the service I need. She is so excellent in her job details and fully understand the needs of her clients. Mrs. Wendy Frierson has a beautiful personality and she is good with showing me were I need to go, if I get lost or dont remember something. I can always go to her and she will guide me there. Mrs. Wendy Frierson is wonderful.
Love walking into there and seeing Ms. Ruby Graham. She makes you feel so welcome with her warm smiles and kind words. She makes you feel better about being seen for an appointment. Stop by the desk if your ever feel blue she will truly brighten your spirits.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kozackis for 15 years and she is wonderful. She tells you exactly what is going on with you in a way you can understand. She takes her time with you to make sure you completely understand.Chiropractor, Dr. Hutchinson is one of the best. He makes you feel right at home and explains exactly what he will be doing to try to alleviate your pain. His beside manner in top notch.I highly recommend both of these doctors.
Went to this place because they were the only doctors office that had appointments available within two weeks. On the day of my appointment I was trying to discuss my issues to my doctor when I was told there was nothing he could do for me. He then instructed me that I wasnt going to be charged and I could go. As I left I asked for my $20 co pay back. Before receiving that the doctor yelled out from behind the counter that he would only return it if I promised not to come back. Very bad experience and will never return. There is several other great doctors in Florence that have a lot more experience. This place was not booked for a reason and now I see why.
Absolutely love the pediatrics. Dr. Foxworth is great. Wasnt exactly pleased that I took off work and found out my daughters dental appointment was changed. The date was locked in my phone before leaving the receptionist desk.
Awesome service great help thank you so much 🙂
Wendy (Frierson) was over our pre-registration for new patient. She truly is a gem. Very friendly, outgoing, personable, but yet professional explaining all options HopeHealth has to offer each patient. It was a pleasant visit that went very smoothly. Shes definitely a keeper in our book!! Look forward to seeing her again when we go in for the next appointment, if just to say hello before appt.Thank you, Wendy!Miss Lou and Cherry
The only reason I am giving any star above one is because I got seen fast, but other than that, they did only blood work, which I had to have done again at the emergency room a week later because they didn’t send it over. They didn’t even send the referral to the specialist I plainly needed to see... they were going to mail it to me, despite the fact that I was in a lot of pain. Anyway, today, 9/15/19 I get a bill for the bloodwork that they did on 6/4/18. If I ever have to go to the doctor again, you can bet it won’t be hope health.
I would give negative stars if I could. This place is a JOKE. My daughter had a new patient appointment to see Claire Proffer, for shoulder pain, and waited for almost 4 hours to get seen, got told to wait for a call for a referral to get an MRI, and to schedule a 2 week follow up. That call didnt come, so I called back to get told that the referral was never sent to the right person to send said referral. So I got that straight, then got called and told that it would be 3 weeks to get the MRI, and that my daughter couldnt be seen until 3 weeks after that. So I talked to a gal in the office, asking what I should do about the pain in the mean time, the pain has gotten worse since she was seen and given a prescription steroid. I got told to take her to the er, that she couldnt be seen without the MRI, and that no other doctor could see her, because Proffer knows her. She saw my daughter one time, shes going to read a note. So then, the day before the MRI the imaging place calls me and tells me that the insurance has yet to approve the MRI, and that they had to cancel the appointment. So I call my insurance company. They tell me they requested more info from Proffer and have yet to get a response. I call the office and tell them what the insurance carrier said. They tell me my daughter is scheduled for an MRI tomorrow...no joke, I said that already. After about 4 times of going around in circles, I get put to a voicemail of a nurse. I left a message and never got a call back. So I just called again, and was told that Proffer would be calling me. Awesome. IDK why, the Insurance carrier is going to deny the claim because they didnt get a response in time. Im going to take my family to Brandi Reynolds, who I go to. Shes located pretty far out in Pamplico, but its worth the drive to me. I could drive an hour and it would be worth it, Id still get home sooner than if I stayed with Hope Health, AND my family will also get actual medical care, not whatever it is you want to call this. ***Update*** I called again yesterday, because I didnt hear back from Dr. Proffer, and I was told that someone had called me back the day before, at the number on file. I had left my work number on the message because my cell phone was dead. I was told that the nurse put notes on my daughters chart saying Dr. Proffer doesnt do Peer to Peer (which basically means she wont speak to my insurance company to provide further information, which means my daughter doesnt get her MRI and the claim is denied). They said they would leave another message for Dr. Proffer to call me, that she doesnt close until 7:30 and I would hear from her that night. This was 5/24/17 at 4:45 pm. It is now 12:42 pm on 5/25/17 and I have YET to get a phone call. It is absolutely negligible that a so called medical provider does not provide actual medical care. She said that my daughters shoulder was crunchy and it needed an MRI, and prescribed her prednisone. Its obviously an issue, but nobody is trying to help. Im thinking I might have to call a patient advocate. I wont put up with it, and I will leave the practice, however I will NOT go quietly. This is absolutely unacceptable.
This location at Pineneedles was beyond amazing, usually I’m waiting hours and I had shots, blood work, ppd test and a physical all done and me and my kids were out within an hour. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and the facility is very clean. Best experience I’ve ever had
I have been trying for over a week to get someone in their dental department to return a call... this is pathetic. 5 days straight I have called.**Update**Someone finally called me a week before I left town to go on holiday. I had already found someone. They were very kind and gave me their name and personal office number, in case I did not work out with the dentist I had chose instead.
Our experience at Hope Health was great. Marshell Nesmith checked us in and was a joy to meet and engage with. Dr. Tantry’s assistant Tom, was very friendly and personable and made us feel comfortable right away. Dr. Tantry was very attentive and asked many questions. In addition he actually listened to us and answered all of our questions. Overall, an excellent experience at Hope Health.
I only brought my wife for ancapointment, but staff was great and she was taken back immediately. They seem to care.
The staff at Hope Health that work in Dr. Kozackis office are shining stars. They take care of me and my husband like we are the only patients that they have. Caring about the patient and it feeling genuine is key to patient satisfaction and job well done to this crew! Thank you for taking my calls almost every day and having a great positive attitude! Special Mention to: Brittney J., Mary B., Takeila F, Krista and Dr. Kozacki
I would write this myself but unfortunately I passed away 2 days after seeing my so called doctor. (I am his mother, speaking for him) I was prescribed 2 extremely potent drugs and 2 days later I had a seizure which led to a months coma in the hospital. Thank you Dr. Barrett for , well nothing. Since now I’m dead. Yes I was an actual patient, feel free to look into. The fact that no one has responded after a week of being posted makes me sick.
I had a great visit. Everyone way kind and helpful. I called them the day before late I. The day , I got a phone call early the next day with a plan to get me seen. 24 hrs later and I feel much better!
I see nurse practitioner there. Have been having some issues. But seem like I am not being heard. Went there a couple weeks ago with symptoms and then again this Monday same symptoms was treated like nothing was wrong even as I was there vomiting in office. Two days later ended in ER with dehydration. Call them today only to get just stay hydrated and still have same issues as before. They do not listen just feel all is made up in head even though signs show differently.
Should be an option for 0 stars. My college freshman daughter went there for help with ADD and Anxiety and has been diagnosed by other Psych. She’s been having difficulty sleeping due to anxiety and was told that if she can’t sleep she should get up and be productive and figure out how to cope with her anxiety, and Society wonders why there is a mental health crisis. This is a HUGE contributing factor.
When I see the doctor it is fine but last visit I saw the nurse practioner and she spent 45 minutes telling me they would only deal with two ailments because of time restrictions. Although she spent 45 minutes wasting time complaining about it. I will be checking to make sure I dont get pushed off on her again. Also phone calls are NEVER returned.
It was great the staff are great as well as the doctors.
Mary Ann Ham was so kind to call me and offer to give me a shot. She is a very compassionate person and made my shot a breeze There was a lady in there and she was scared and Mary Ann made them feel safe The same applied with the second shot - she is a asset to Hope Health
My mother used/uses these guys for pain management. They are some sorry excuses for human beings. I work 3rd shift, my mother has no phone, and because I missed their phone call and she missed her appointment as a result they have pulled her off pain medications she has been on for years, cold turkey. Let something happen to her as a result and the lawsuit I file will bury this place, just saying. In fact think Im going to reach out to my lawyer anyway just to see what they have to say about this ordeal.
They are a great health place for low income folks but their call backs are rated 0. They leave no message and when you call back they dont know who had called. PLEASE, either leave a message as there is voice mail availability so we can know who called. When someone is constantly having seizures is imperative to have the chance to talk with the original caller. Sorry about the rant but when a loved is going through this it becomes very aggravating to say the least!!!!
Awful service and rudeness, need to consider patient needs instead of their own, listen to the patients complaints. Not all patients are here for drugs . Stop ignoring them and sending them home critically ill . Which results with them ending up in the hospital or even death.Wake up help your patients, please give Mary Mitchell extra practitioner training. make use of that nice facility instead of letting it go to waste after all those same patients paid for it.
I had been going to Hopehealth for several years. Dr. Page actually saved my life by listening to me and sending me for tests and they found blood clots in my lungs. She left the practice and Dr. Bennett took over. She does not listen to you. After my first (AND ONLY) visit, she put me on anxiety medicine and took me off my Ambien. She mentioned Ambien was habit forming and would not prescribe it to me. I took the axiety medicine along with zquil to help me sleep. She advised if that medicine did not work, go to the pharmacy and have the last prescription filled of Ambian and take that. I told her there was no refill and she argued the fact. After taking the anxiety with zquil ( and it cost more than ambien) I went to get the refill and the pharmacy said there was no prescription on file. I know what worked for me the last year and a half, it is not like I had not tried other sleep aids. If you want a doctor to listen to you, she is not the one. Dont go to her. Like the prior post stated, she thinks people just want drugs when in reality they want a solution.
Celeste Rowland assisted me at the checkout counter. She was professional and very friendly. I havent been to the doctor in a very long time and she calmed my nerves and was very patient with me. Treated me like a person and not just another patient.
Always kind and caring . Love Hopehealth…
P.A Barrett comes into work at whatever time he feels like it during the summer. Basically this is what his nurse told me today. I had an 8 am appointment, at 9:15 am he still wasnt in the office and I walked out. I have been going to him for years but after today I will not go back. My time is just as valuable as yours.
I am very pleased with my doctor Deana Freeman she pays attention to my needs and is very quick. I also recently started seeing the dentist doctor Paul Gwengi-Anam and he is AMAZING!!! He has changed my life, he is heaven sent. I was so afraid of the dentist but since Ive met him I lay back with ease. I have referred my whole family lol. Thank you so much.
I have been a patient of Alan Barrett for years and LOVE him and his immediate staff. Today I saw Dominique Speaks for the first time and my experience with her was wonderful as well!
The worst doctors office EVER!!! If you are ill and need help DON’T waste your time or your money! You will be sent home feeling the same way you felt when you came in and the doctors take weeks with labs results. So your just really left to die!!! I repeat do not make the mistake of seeing anyone in this office!
The staff at Hope Health is great.always friendly , professional and couetous.I am a patient of Dr Turner. He is always very thorough and takes the time to listen to any questions and not only answer but explains his answer and the reasoning behind it.I could not be happier with the level of service I receive.THE whole staff deserves a 5+ 🌟 rating.
Dr.Hoyle is my doctor at Hope Health. He is really good. He always listens to my problems and then we discuss a solution! His staff are so courteous and always happy! I love Hope Health!
My wife started looking at places to go get better treatment for my back issues. With the other places she called, I felt like we were getting the run around or not being given the right direction to talk to a Dr or be seen by one. Then my wife called hope health. She talked to Richard Clowney. He was so concerned about her feelings, and the pain I was in. His kindness for caring, respect, and gratitude gave us hope. He told us how great the place is, and the help we could get. We decided to take another chance to see what hope health could do. We went there and talked to Richard Clowney face to face. This guy really cares about our health and feelings, his smile and sign of compassion is amazing. He helped me in a wheelchair then sat my wife down to talk to us after hearing how much we have been through. He told us what to do, pushed my wheelchair for me so my wife didnt have to. He walked with us to show who we needed to talk to. We felt blessed, and so amazed. I want to say thanks to Richard Clowney from our deepest heart, we thank you so much for you giving us hope at hope health. If it wasnt for Richard Clowney, we wouldnt have given another doctor a chance and I would probably still be searching for help. Thanks Hope Health for hiring such a great employee.
Dr Alan Barret is the best he makes things seem Minuscule.. everyone is always so nice to me when I visit I called my Dr yesterday told him bout an issue an he was able to see me the next day I would say that’s a short notice. He is very helpful
5 stars just because of a specific counselor. Danielle Williams absolutely pulled me up by my boot straps and saved me.. She pushed hope down my throat when I needed it most, cant think of a better person to represent the facility that has the same word in its name. Im still trying.. (sometimes miserably) and have to remind myself to keep swimming near daily, but theres hope, so I think Ill be fine..Picture attached to this review (taken recently) was possible because of her help..There is light but there’s a tunnel to crawl through..There is love, but its misery loves you. There’s still hope, so I think we’ll be fine..In these disastrous times.
I hated leaving one star because no part of this office was satisfactory. Dr. Patel has the personality of a rock and and acted as if I was annoying him throughout my visit.
I find that Dr. Kunal Patel is a very caring and thoughtful physician. His approach is very comforting and reassuring. After just the first Chiropractic visit I could tell that there were already signs of improvement.
Outstanding care at a price everyone can afford.
My first doctor was so rude and nasty. People are just in the business for the money. They dont care about your health. They will leave you with no hope at all. Its sad but true. Its some doctors who love what they do others who just want the check. This world is just about money.
Check in process was confusing for new patient but I just wanted to take the time for a positive THANK YOU!!!!!!!Marshell Nesmith, thank you so much for all of your help and making my check in at the end go as smooth as it did. It had been a stressful morning and I cant tell you how much it meant to me.Thank you!!!!!!!!!
I would not be where I am today without the help of Dr. Proffer and her nursing staff! I also love all of the sweet ladies at the check in/out windows!! They are so sweet and helpful! I just wish I could remember when my next appts are lol!
This is the worst pharmacy in town. They tell you wait times and then have to come back time after time. This is every pick up. People waiting in the lobby get served before people who have had meds called in for hours. It’s a disgrace! Never use this pharmacy!
PhD. Katherine Proctor cut me straight off my medication because I had to reschedule a appointment with Dr. Moody .. Ive been out of work 6 months and now they are cutting me off my needed medication.. This place is racist they not to help a working man.. I will be placing a mal practice suite if I loose my job because the will not give me my required medication.. White people that work dont stand a chance with this place even with proper paperwork and documentation.. So Blacks get all yall can get out of these people..They have no care about you, your life, your well being.. They have just give me trash since Ive started... I had hope they pulled it straight from under me cause Im a white person not a person of color.. Then they had the never to call security. Sorry is not the word for this place.. If you white find another doctor they are truly racist... SORRY MOTHER CLUCKERS!
Being a first time patient Marshall Nesmith was welcoming and she has a positive attitude. She made my first experience an amazing one.
This is the third doctor I have had that has quit or left since I became a patient at Hope Health. The nurses will not return your phone calls and the wait time is very long.
Do not take the time to actually help you with your problems, you wait around for about two hours then talk to the doc for less than ten minutes, its extremely hard to get in contact with your doctor, and when you have to go some Where else to find out you have a medical issue, (that you already told your Dr. Was a concern), they should be ashamed, I have had ovarian cysts for well over a year and am in extreme pain, I cant have them removed for awhile, and what does my doctor do to help ease any uncomfort and pain, nothing. It took dr.licari a split second to spit out some kind of medication for anxiety and chronic depression, it made me shakey and extremely suicidal. Ive been battling this issue with Drs for way longer than a person should have to. A person goes to the doctor not to be miserable, and my experience at hope health has been nothing but. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
They are too big! I prefer a more intimate setting instead of feeling like Im going to a hospital every time I go to the doctor. Nothing is easy and the staff acts uneducated and rude and like they dont want to be there. Go somewhere else unless you dont have a choice. They should have stayed smaller and spaced out.
HopeHealth is a wonderful health care facility. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I see Dr. Lanning and she is AMAZING! She takes the time to listen to your complaints and is extremely knowledgable.
I went in to see Dr. Debbie Hopla after a car accident. I was very impressed with her attentiveness and willingness to explain. After a very thorough examination, Dr. Hopla then discussed ways to overcome PTSD after an accident. Her tips were very helpful as I have overcome my fear of that intersection. Thank you Dr. Hopla!
The chiropractor Petal is great. But the receptionist sometimes has an attitude and always looks discusted when ever someone is at her desk and is veryyy rushy. Watch out...
Absolute worst! The only reason for giving them even one star is that this is the lowest grade that you can list to post the review. It takes forever to get any of them on the phone! Terrible way to run a business.
I have been a patient here for a little over a year & love it. No matter what type of doctor you need you can find it here. In addition to that you can also get all kinds of tests done here as well. I see a pain mgmt doctor, a chiroprator & a counselor. They also have a pharmacy ! I strongly recommend Hope Health for all of your medical needs. You will also find the staff very pleasant & helpful.
I called on 9/10/2020 about information on a test to Dr poston office there was a girl who answered the phone at dr poston office I asked for information and she hanged up on me. This is not the first time this happened I feel that when some blacks have a nice job they treat people like trash. That needs to change
Love Love Love Hope Health. Sonja Scott is the best provider ever and deals with every emotion and mood swing i bring her way lol. Loved this place since i became a pt in 2017!
Sorry place to keep a Dr..Ive been through 4 to 6 pcp drs andpsych drs when our drs quit and they place new ones without giving patients a warning at all!! I will no longer be giving them my business I warn you all. Once you are on a med regimen they will not help you to keep it
Celeste Rowland is very good. She was very helpful and attentive. She was very patient with me and helpful‼️ Shes a keeper.Great job Celeste‼️
Brenda Thorntom is always friendly (never has an attitude) and professional when I call. Brenda truly listens, always finds a way to make me laugh and provides excellent customer service.
My family sees Dr. Lanning, Dr. Hanna, and Dr. Foxworth. We love all three and the fact that we all get our care in the same building. It is also very helpful that we can be seen on Saturdays when needed.
I called after hours and I’m so grateful that ANGEL did a wonderful job. My cousin needed his medication filled as an emergency and she directed us in the right direction. Thank you
My experience so far is very excellent...Dr Deana McHugh was very concerned about my suffering from uterine fibroids...And nurse practitioner Dominique Speaks was very nice as well and showed concern concern ...Thanks so much for helping people who have no insurance like myself
The staff here is amazing the really go out of there way to make you feel like family. The facility has almost everything you would need including a pharmacy and a great deli with daily specials.
I have to pull forward and wait at this pharmacy for 30 mins consistently after being given a time to pick up meds. I am currently 45 mins into what was supposed to be a 15 min wait for meds that were supposed to be ready when I arrived
If I could give less than one star I would. Different provider in every visit. The initial provider was leaving next day had student NP. The provider never came in room. Can you say fraudulent billing?
Give two stars because director of guest experience lied to us (I have evidence) and delayed our time. It was comfortable talked to him, but He’s A man of words and not of deeds.
Marshell . D NesmithWas really great for my first time she walked me through everything, and made sure I knew everything as a new patient here and hope health.
My doctor and the nurses there are very nice and they are all about making you feel comfortable with everything going on and just all around good people.
Very bad experienceAsk doctor for MRIBecause my knee was swollen from where I fellHe asked me why did I want a MRI that I think I had cancerI went to a orthopedic who said I had a torn meniscus and a fracture from the MRI he orderedI have to see a surgeon next monthAlso his nurse is so rude its unbelievable that she still has a job thereAnd I have been going there for years trying to get help for my legWith no reliefYet
My cousion was a patient of Cindy Lawimore back in 2015.She had what Lawimore diagnosed as a boil that was actually was a sweat gland that had swollen...She lanced it and cut three of her artiries under her left armpit...She had to be rush to Mc leod to under go emergency surgery to save her life..She almost bleed to death..She spent three days in the hospital she had to go to womb care doctors because, There was a 2inch hole under her arm..She had to go to physical therapy to learn how to use her arm again...Cindy Lawimore did not follow proper protcols she didnt consult the supervising Doctor,Nor did she had her to sign a consent form for treatment... Now why didnt Hope Health report this Nurse practionor to the Nursing Board every medical professional said, she should have sent my cousin to the Emergency Room and Cindy Lawimore should have been reported to the nursing board.Hope Health fired her without reporting this incident to the nursing board..Now she works at another Doctors office... Hope Health never acknowledged or apologized to her for almost killing her..She has gone through pain and suffering is scar for life..Instead of doing whats right they give Lawimore a clean record to work at another doctor office.. I feel she shouldnt be working as a medical professional she couldnt even do a simple lancing procedure.. All they want is the money they dont care about the health of their patients if they did...Hope Health would have reported her instead letting her off the hook to hurt someone eles..God dont like ugly...My cousin has documents of what happened to her...My thing is what if this happened to them or their family how would they feel...If anything when she went to Hope Health with a friend, she got dirty looks from the Ceo why he mad ??? Hope Health almost killed her and hes mad smh...Thats not Christian like.Except responsibility they should have reported that butcher to the nusing board period..What about the oath do no harm to patients???The statements that i have made is the truth..
I had a great experience here. I was given info to get on a sliding scale. I saw np Sonya Scott. She was amazing I would recommend her to anyone she followed through on all the problems I was having.
Celeste Rowland did really well with orientation. Was very professional yet inviting into a place of health and wellness.
My New patient representstive Mrs. Nesbith was so heartfelt in her patient registration with me on today. She made me very welcome.
I have been going to hopehealth for about two years.Dr John Bingham is one of the best doctors I have ever had.he cares about helping people and will go out his way to do so.the only reason its not 5 stars is because when you call to talk to the doctor they never tell the doctor you called . really need to fix this
I had an appointment with dr berry in pain manegment..the prescription she wrote for me cost over $1000 to fill.i am low income on the sliding pay scale..when i called the dr to ask them to write something i could afford as I habr no insurence she refused..why write a prescription for someone they can not afford to fill...i waited 2 months to be seen and it did absolutly no good...if you dont have insurence there is no point in comeing here they dont care about you just want to get you in and out...the dr didnt even tell me what inwas being prescibed and when I asked i was told nothing...i wasted a whole day to be seen by the dr just to be prescribed a 2 week supply of med that cost ober $1000 dollars to be filled that I simply cannot afford...whi can afford $1000 dollars out of pocket for 2 weeks of meds..
My personal doctor is Dr. Bingham. A wonderful and very precise care giver. As far as the overall service goes, the staff is very courteous and professional.
My first time visiting Hope Health and Ms. Wendy Frierson made me feel so welcomed and helped me make a same-day appointment!
Although I like Miss Julie Gage well enough, this place does not return your calls and on average hold time is at least 10 minutes. Not good and I am in the process of looking for somewhere else to go, this is ridiculous
Celeste Rowland was great. She helped me with all the needed information for a new patient. Thank You.
Ive been seeing Deana freeman for a year if you have issues they set appointments for you weeks out or several days leaving me to go to urgent care for my needs, Ive been calling everyday for a 9 days trying to get my lab results that I know are in bc Ive been told but np Deana freeman has to look them over so finally she does then tells me to stop taking meds that she specifically told me take, speaking through Kaitlyn her assistant not speaking to me herself, so Kaitlyn had to put me on hold 8 times everytime I ask a question, which means Deana freeman was right there, shes rude, very short with you, doesnt listen to what your explaining without interjection, it shows she doesnt care about her patients and how they truly feel its a shame to be treated like this at an establishment that should really be showing compassion please excuse my grammar Im just in complete disbelief that I have to suffer the way I am because I have a physician that couldnt care any less if I stopped breathing today or yesterday
I have been a patient of Dr Kozacki for years if not for her I would be dead yes sometimes the wait period is long but you have to consider that unlike the McLeod Dr she does not hurdle you in like cattle but takes her time with youI would have given 5 stars but I do agree with other reviewers that their communication system is lacking they have one central phone number and call backs are tough.I also would have given zero stars if I was reviewing individual Drs because I was also a patient of Dr Modi the one and only psychiatrist he is the worst Dr ever he speaks broken English very hard to understand he had me on a medication that I did not like the side effects of and it took me 6months and genesite testing that showed that med was wrong for me before he changed it yet he doesn’t mention that in his report instead he put that I was combative and aggressive the was 3 years ago ad I mentioned earlier Dr Kozacki caught a ruptured appendix in time to save me otherwise I would be dead shortly after surgery I had appt with Dr Modi and became upset to make a long story short I became very upset in his office and the next thing I knew I get a certified letter stating I was being discharged as a patient because they wanted a “harmonious” atmosphereNow I ask you if you can’t have a melt down from all the stress you have been under in your psychiatrist office where should you have it I was not around other patients or in the lobby this was in an office if a staff that works at behavioral health does not know when someone gets like that to let them calm down and then talk to them reasonably they are in the wrong business this is just ridicoulous. Not wanting to end on a sour note overall I think Hopehealth is a great place and if you really want bad go to McLeod and then you will beg to be seen at Hopehealth so like me don’t let one bad experience, person, or Dr let you think of it as a bad place yes Dr Kozacki is the best but Dr Modi is the worst but overall they are great
I have been trying to get someone to call me back about my referral to an oral surgeon for the last year they kept playing around with me so Im gonna call another dentist and have them pull my tooth after I get antibiotics is pathetic then when I saw him over a month ago I told him I needed it and he said I didnt I will be taking my business else where hope heath dentist department sucks I will never refer any one there and to which I already told my nurse practitioner about it and Im making sure they never send anyone over there oh and by the way its a 3 to 6 month wait for an appointment the other dentist I can be seen the next day..
Compassionate, kind, friendly staff. Excellent quality of care! Love the new building and the extras - valet, lab, x-ray, pharmacy.
Beautiful facility...but the best thing about this place is the staff. Professional, very friendly and very helpful. You can tell that they love their job and working at Hope Health
The receptionist ANITA WAS SOOOO RUDEShe made fun of the way I talk because of my accent. Made me feel horrible and she is so unprofessional
The doctors and staff were very nice and took time to explain to my 85 year old mother issues concerning her health and diet.
I have been nothing but pleased with the attention the staff and doctors have given me and many of my family members. It is a little hard getting through sometime but always get a call back.
Was on hold for dentist office for 45 minutes, then told me cant get in until oct/nov. Lady was very rude to me.took picture with husband phone how long I was on hold .
Celeste Rowland was very helpful, knowledgeable, and polite at my new patient appointment.
Ongoing issues since day one !!... I would not recommend this place... Find somewhere else.. Doctors and staff are not component. I have Hep C ... Nurse and Doctor stated, it was OK to drink everyday ??
New facility is very nice...Dr Kozacki and her nurses Sam and Stacy are wonderful. Dr Kozacki is a wonderful, caring and great doctor!!
Ppl where friendly but when it comes to pain management they dont care about anyone been trying over a month to get an appointment never returned calls always wanting to bring you back in for more blood or whatever and will not go back to this place
I felt WELCOMED from the moment I walked inCeleste Rowland was AWESOME with keeping me informed and comfortable
I just wanted to say thanks for all you do Hope Health!
Hope health has been a blessing to me in many ways Dr Mary Mitchell and Mary Ann Ham have gone above there duties I will refer every one to Hope Health Thanks for being there for me
They NEVER return your phone calls at this building!!! You have to call EVERYDAY until you find out what you need. Its terrible!!!!!!!
While we live in basic good health, we have found that the facilities, medical staff and support staff are all top-notch and compassionate.
No business that offers drive thru service should hold a costumer at the window more than 10 min at the most.
It was very outstanding Marshall Nesmith has very good work ethic and a very outstanding worker.....
HIPPA law ..Not Humane....There isnt enough time to Tell ALL...
