I was skeptical after reading reviews but when getting lab work done for doctors there isn’t much choice so I made my appointment. I have been getting lab work at quests all across Florida for the past 10 years. I know how crowded they can get and if you don’t have an appointment you might not get in or you will have to wait a long time. After making an appointment I arrived on time and waited maybe 10 minutes for my name to be called. Went back there and told the phlebotomist that I get anxious with blood work and I’m just going to talk while she does it. She did a great job and we talked all the way through. I think most peoples frustration comes from not really know the ins and outs of navigating quest. It can be difficult to make an appointment and quests don’t have a front desk person so if you’re confused or a first timer it can be difficult to get help because all quests are understaffed. My advice is to make an appointment, show up 10 minutes early and you should have no problem.
Their automated phone system is horrible, there are no options to talk to anybody. And there are just some things that their little pre-recording automated system does not share with you. You would think with unemployment at what it is, and the fact that automation itself is taking so many jobs, that they would be able to hire somebody that can answer a few phone calls.
People seem to rate this place poorly but my experience was good, the woman that drew my blood was friendly, smooth with the needle. The only negative was how busy it is but that’s just the way it is.
Made an appointment online through their website quickly the night before. When I arrived, I checked in and waited less than 5 minutes. Went back and signed some paperwork, got into a room fast and the lady was nice. No pain, no rudeness, yeah the building is old but who cares. I have been there a lot as a kid, so it was nice to see it was the same
First time just now at a Quest location in Florida.Efficient check in, temperature check outside the door for all who want to enter, relatively uncrowded waiting room.Quick and painless blood draw by a very kind phlebotomist.I would’ve given it 5 stars but the phone system is not very user friendly. And no one was cleaning chairs in the waiting room as patients got called back. I’d still highly recommend the lab so far!
Always professional and very good at drawing blood. Have gone here many times. One time I was about to faint, after the blood draw, (not their fault), and the phlebotomist placed a cool wet towel on the back of my neck, and it brought me back. I was impressed that she could tell I was about to faint, and had an appropriate and effective response.Unfortunately, this location is now appointment only, and their web page does not indicate this.Note, once, I went to another Quest location in Naples, and I was not impressed with their service (although the blood draw itself was well done). There was a 3 hour wait, despite having an appointment.
Made an appointment for 10am. Signed in at 9:59. I was out of the door by 10:21. Wowtbat was speedy service. I did NOT encounter any rudeness. To the contrary they were warm and sincere. Eva checked me in and she was very pleasant. Ms.Kitty called me back and explained everything to me. Ms.Kitty was a caring and compassionate person. When I returned from the bathroom she handed me a card with the phone number and hpurs of the lab. She also took the time to explained about the season and they do get very busy so appointments are best. These two employees are definitely keepers. Please let them know kudos to them.
Showed up five minutes early for a scheduled blood draw that took about two minutes. I still had to wait over half an hour. There were people on the digital wait list with estimated wait times over an hour. There was only one person doing paperwork and one drawing blood. The only reason I gave it two stars is that the people were super nice when they did finally get to me.
Great facility but they need to update their info. When I showed up for a walk-in appointment this morning I was told that they only take walk-ins between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. and was handed a phone number to call to make an appointment. When I called the phone number it said that only people at severe risk of covid-19 set walk in during 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. which includes senior citizens pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals. Nowhere on their website does it mention that they are no longer taking walk-in appointments or that you have to come in between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. to be a walk in.
DO NOT GO HEREGo to Millennium, nicest people there and you don’t need an appointment. This “Karen” wouldn’t let me in even though I got sent by my doctor to get lab work done. She handed me a slip of paper and it had times on it. I said so you guys don’t do walk ins at all and she said did you look at the paper? Rudest people I’ve ever met. I got in and out at millennium in 10 mins total!!
Very slow and Lady a front desk is very rude. She makes sure you know that you are bothering her and makes sure you know when you did not do something correctly. Looking at the reviews this is not the first time this lady has been written about, but yet she still continues to be the one that helps eveyone. Maybe give her a job where she has not contact with people as she clearly does not like them. The responses from the company clearly show they could also care less about the patients.
Did not have an appointment, but was seen in about half an hour. I always have issues with finding veins, but Joan was the best. First time done. No pain, no bruising. NO fainting.
DO NOT GO HERE. I specifically said that I did not want a Vitamin D test. They told the system was down so I had to sign a printed copy. Well they printed the contract that DID include the Vitamin D test and now I have to pay hundreds of dollars for a test I did not need or want. Be careful they are out to get your money.
Arrived a few minutes early, sign-in was under a minute. Was called almost immediately. Angela was incredible! Inserted needle painlessly, drew blood and patched me in barely a minute. Total time under 5 minutes!
Dropped off a 24 urine test on Wednesday morning, today is the following Tuesday and no results yet because had to be sent to another lab with 2 day travel time. My doctor is waiting for the results to schedule the next action, so I am in a holding pattern...not good when it comes to health. I will and I suggest anyone looking for tests should go to the hospital labs rather than Quest.
Dont go here... Walk-ins are only available 6-7 am, which is the time designated to help those who are high risk. If you dont get there by 5:30 you wont get in. They tell you to make an appointment online but there are none for weeks. Such a mess.
I had a horrible experience there. A short woman was very rude, destroyed my arm and put I was fasting and I told her I wasnt. I wont go back.
5 stars just have 20ty plus yrs of scare tissue they gotta poke thru
Carlene S. exhibited great leadership and customer service skills during my lab visit on 9/9/20. She is an asset to your company. Thank you Carlene!
The staff is nice and if you pre-check-in online all you do is scan your code. I think my last visit took all of 15 minutes.
I am so scared of doing blood work. The staff is wonderful so kind and do not hurt you. They understand and are caring. Keep up the good work!
EVA IS SUPER PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY!!!! SHE TOOK ME BACK FAST AND MADE MY EXPERIENCE SO SMOOTH. SHE DEFINITELYDESERVES MORE THAN 5 STARS.
Renee and Nakita are angels and are very skilled!❤️ Highly recommend them.
I did not have an appointment but was in and out quickly. The staff was efficient and my phlebotomist was awesome...no pain!
The automated check in is great BUT this location does not do drug tests and I had to wait for a while before anyone figured it out.
They charged me $65 for my lab tests and my insurance says theres no charge. For my next tests I went to another quest lab and they didnt charge anything.
This is my favorite Quest Diagnostics location! Cynthia makes taking a blood sample totally painless. She is a joy to be around.
Dont go in there without an appointment. The staff is not interested in seeing you if it is close to closing time.
Checked in around 6am for senior bloodwork. Went there fasting, almost noon and still waiting for a call. It looks like they forgot me.
Very fast and efficient. Shows your wait time on a tv in the lobby
Extremely rude staff. They were very rude to every person in the room.
Staff is always pleasant and gets you in and out as quick as possible.
No way to call and ask a simple question, endless recordings regardless of what you choose, no option to talk to someone
They get you in and out quick and everyone is very nice
The staff treats my dad with respect & the customer service is great!
Always fast and friendly service. Great staff.
The worst time trying to make an appointment ever!!!! :(
Worst customer service ever. Staff is rude and unwilling to help.
The workers are very helpful and respectful.
Not an option to talk to a real person on the phone.
The best place for lab test.
