This man is so incredibly condescending and belittling. He is a factory dr. So if you just need in and out, he’s perfect. When I was in my late 20’s, I didn’t have anything outside just needing an exam and birth control. He should not be allowed to work with women.He’s talks down to you or is extremely rude. , or especially in my case. Reminds me of those doctors from the 60’s who assumed women didn’t know their own bodies. I have been suffering from painful intercourse for the last 4 years (I’ve been seeing him for 7). Last year I brought it up again, and literally all he did was take a swab and send me on my way. Didn’t attempt to provide any relief or answers.I also inquired about different types of birth control and his rude response was “what, is taking one pill a day every day too hard?”He doesn’t care about his patients, he just wants you in and out. He’s rude, and makes you feel small for inquiring about your body and medications. I still can’t believe I went to him every year for him to provide absolutely no solution or help to my problem.I went to a new dr, and within the half hour I was there she addressed my issues and now I no longer have those issues. This could have been resolved earlier had he just taken steps to understand my pain and care about providing relief.

Dr. Olivia is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. He explains every procedure he is going to do and what comes next. I really like that in a doctor. I would recommend Dr. Olivia to everyone. All his staff is pleasant and friendly.

I cannot believe I allowed myself to suffer for decades - and it was only because I hadnt found the right physician. Dr. Oliva was the right physician for me. He has changed my life profoundly after a complicated surgery...and his team of caring professionals (like Kathy) to the front office team - truly made me feel like my quality of life was their top priority. There are not enough words to express my gratitude. God Bless You, Dr. Oliva & Team!

Dr. Oliva and staff are excellent. Especially his nurse. They are easy to talk to and take time to answer questions. I highly recommend Dr. Oliva’s Office.

IF I COULD PUT ZERO STARS I WOULD.Very confrontational for no reason. When I asked for a pain maintenance for IUD insert he was so sarcastic and unprofessional. I really had a horrible experience at this practice. I don’t typically make reviews but I could not go without informing people about how poor my experience was.

This was my first time at Millennium in Fort Myers. The staff was very helpful and Dr. Olivia was very personable and explained why and what he was going to do before he did it. They made me feel very comfortable.

I had a great experience with Dr. Oliva assistant before, during and after my visit with the Dr. Shes was amazing, so caring and helpful I really do like her very much she even made it a point as I was leaving to disconnect from her computer and acknowledge me and with a big smile say goodbye and remembered my name that was so awesome especially with so much that I am going through personally it just made my day. I recall going to another Dr. Office a few days ago and came in contact with an Aprn not the Dr. It was the worst experience of my life. I am so glad this visit was today because it made me feel really good it made up for the way I was treated so thank you so very much! Dr Olivia was compassionate and very confident with his answers and help!!! He took as much time as I asked for to answer questions!!!! The office staff was kind and knowledgeable!!! Very timely!

Run away from this doctor! I have never left a bad review but I feel compelled to let women know to stay away. He is so demeaning and rude and should not be working with women. Incompetent to say the least. I had a biopsy and it took him 45 minutes to complete, then he said hopefully I was able to get the sample I needed. I cried in my car. He held on to my biopsy results for a month in order to get an office visit. TERRIBLE!! He laughs at you like you’re stupid. He couldn’t believe I didn’t want the pamphlet for the meds he suggested, telling me most of his patients need them because they can’t even remember the name of the medicine. Awful doctor, do not waste your time! Wait for another doctor if you can!

Timely, professional, good communication. I had to change because they no longer took my florida blue ( I dont blame them). Highly recommend him. Especially if moving and need a new one. It was smooth and almost painless ha.

If there was an option for no stars, I’d pick that. You denied my mother estrogen therapy based on old literature that was recently redacted. You did not try to help my mother. Instead, she left your office in tears. Update your hormone therapy knowledge doctor.

This was my first visit with a doctor at the millennium group and I was so happy that they made me feel very comfortable they were very nice and supportive and friendly.

Very professional and helpful. Ive been with Dr. Oliva for 10 years. He is always very friendly and has never made a rude comment to me or in front of me. His office has always followed up with me. Highly recommend him. I had a semi difficult pregnancy and he was on top of everything every step of the way. He explains everything to you in great detail.

No nonsense doctor. Will answer questions if you have them however he does like to keep things moving and doesnt seem to like to stop and ask you if you have questions. You really have to interrupt him to ask questions. He is thorough and doesnt like to deviate from his plan for you. You really have to be your own patient advocate.

If I could give Dr. John F. Oliva a zero rating than I would. This was my first appointment with a gynecologist and it was by far worse than I expected. This man is disrespectful and extremely insensitive. He was also rough with the equipment used for a Pap smear and was not apologetic what’s so ever. He was also extremely belittling and spoke down to me. I will never go back to this office and if you are woman that prefers having a trusting relationship with your medical officials than i will highly advise that you stay far away from this doctors office.

Dr Oliva is the best and only doctor I️ would ever see. He truly cares about his patients and takes every measure to make them feel comfortable . He has addressed issues , performed a surgery on my ovaries, and delivered both my babies . Truly couldn’t have asked for a better doctor .

The practice runs on time. Everyone was nice and Dr Oliva and his nurse were kind and efficient

First gyno. That Ive ever been to, he is very professional and always does follow ups. He creates a comfortable environment. He is very honest and on top of things. Only one out of dozens of appointments had been rescheduled due to conflict with another patient.

Just another negative review for this so called doctor. He was probably the worst doctor I have seen. I am 22 and not even comfortable with going to a gynecologist yet and he made it 10 times worse. He made me feel like a liar when I told him my symptoms, and also stupid when I asked him a question that he answered with what did you even learn in college? He inserted his instruments without being gentle or careful which made me hurt and his poor nurses looked scared of him. I honestly had a horrible experience and I dont recommend him at all.

Very nice, alway reshedule his appointments if cancels due2 surgery n always follow up. Always explains things2 u if u dont understand especially if u have a a learning disorder. Tries2 help u the best way best way he can. Been there over a year. Feel comfortable with him n I dont like men obgyns. Everyone is different with experience with different Drs. Every body isnt Gunna a particular Dr. But ppl will bad mouth them n make them look when they dont do no wrong. He didnt do wrong by me. My opion. N I know some in person said hes the best, thats y I chose him for my Dr. N he proved me right hes good.

Dr. Oliva had a copy of my recent mammogram and shared the results with me. He told me to stop taking an extra Calcium pill and just take a Vitamin D3 pill because of calcification of arteries and valves rthat can be caused by the Calcium.

Cancelled after waiting over a month.Showed up on rescheduled day. Office has moved.Went to new location. They don’t have an appointment for me. Waited in lobby 20 more minutes and the offered to reschedule me on three weeks in another town. Uh-no thanks.
