The doctor I had was amazing and she would have gotten 5 star. Today I got a bill showing a charge for $275 for a $20 Walmart thumb brace with their logo on it. Its things like this that keep people from getting the medical help they need. Was told that the amount would be around $165 unless I needed x-rays. The total of the bill was $558. I did not get x-rays because there was no technician available. They said I could come back later and have them if I wanted. I didnt.
Physicans Urgent Care took my insurance card and said they accepted my insurance. They then took my co-pay and treated me.6 months later they sent a bill for 10x my co-payment.I only went here because I was bleeding profusely and they were the nearest urgent care.Never again. Be forewarned.
Had to come here for a work injury. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. Took longer than I thought to get out but overall my concerns were addressed and met with empathy.
I am in so much pain right now. I can barely use my legs. I can barely walk or move. Can barely get dressed. I have horrific pains shooting all the way into my calf muscles. My BALLS are hurting cuz of my back. And these mfs ask if it hurts to touch and if I can bend over (yes and no, not easily without a lot of pain.... and when I do to stretch getting back upright is a chore). They know I have to work and they do NOTHING but tell me take ibuprofen and use ice and stretch and in a WEEK well talk about getting prednisone or something. The whole reason I said to let me work was on the assumption Id be given something to help me actually get through it. Ive hurt my back before. I know what works and what dont. Prednisone and a muscle relaxer worked miracles last time. But no, this time Im just told to go suffer and deal with excruciating pain and stretch.... which causes even more pain. This is a joke. Im about to just go the ER and talk to a REAL doctor. Because nobody on earth should be sent home and expected to just hurt this bad while having to try to work so they dont end up homeless and can feed their child. I even went back and they STILL didnt do anything. I guess Im just expected to completely ruin my back before I can actually be helped. Disgusting medical care. And to be VERY clear, I do not take pain pills. I dont and wont and cant touch opioids. I made that very clear. Im not asking for or wanting pain meds. But I expected to be given something that will help address the issue so I can actually function. Im not an animal and didnt expect to be treated like one. I cant sit up easily, I cant stand easily, I cant walk easily. If I even move a little bit the pain almost brings me to my knees. And there is a very easy solution that actually HELPS and they refused to do anything (and I know it helps because its what I was given last time). Im not going to make it a week like this so Im probably going to lose my damn job. Wouldnt recommend anybody to go here if you want actual medical care or if youre really injured.
Waited 30 min to get called back. I thought that was great! Then was in the room for an hour and a half waiting for a doctor. Felt like a hostage. Miserable.
I came in for a procedure to remove a cyst and had it packed and was told to come back the next day to get it changed out without having to pay another copay by doctor Mustafa. When I arrived I was told they were mistaken and I had to pay but it was waved. I was told by the doctor to come back on Friday to get it checked and removed I made sure to inform her that I was not self pay she said it didn’t matter I wouldn’t have to pay because I had 90 days after the procedure to not have to pay a copay. I come in on Friday and Randy the manager said to the person working at the desk that I was misinformed and would have to pay. I was refused service without a copay and I am on disability and do not get paid until the beginning of the month so I had to leave with instructions to remove it myself with gloves. This is totally unprofessional and unsafe they should not tell people they don’t have to pay when they do I could have made arrangements with my primary doctor if that was the case.
Super disappointed. After telling him my symptoms he left the room for about 5 mins. Once he came back he checked my ears & throat, made me stand with my arms out, and proceeded to say “you’re all good. I don’t see anything wrong and I can’t really diagnose you since it’s nothing wrong” but he ended up diagnosing me with “Giddiness”. I was confused because how can you diagnose me with anything and all I had to do was stand with my arms out.You could’ve at LEAST checked my blood pressure to act like you’re checking for something. How did you get “giddiness” from checking my throat, ears, and making me stand up?I do not feel like the doctor took my symptoms serious at all (dizzy, light head, numbness on left side, short of breath) and didn’t even think to check my BP, but instead told me I’m “Giddy”. I left and want straight to the ER & so glad I did. So now I’m probably about to receive a bill from my insurance just for putting my name in their system. SMH!!
Exceptional staff from the greeting at the door and through the entire process. Professional, knowledgeable, kind, just a great experience.
I don’t know how much this is going to end up costing me but I wouldn’t have ended up going to the emergency room if I wouldn’t have came here. Service was fast and everyone was friendly.
My family went here today around 10 AM and the doctor, Noel Moore, was so rude. He told my sister “God Dammit” when she asked him for a doctor’s note for school. My mom was having a hard time breathing, when my sister expressed that to him he said “yes she can or else she wouldn’t be alive.” He was rushing like he was in a hurry, and he didn’t take my sister or my mother’s concerns into consideration. My mother’s phone rang and she forget to turn her ringer off, he was very condescending saying NO PHONES. I understand no phones or pictures, but all she did was forget to turn her ringer off.
Terrible!! Doctor was very rude, unprofessional, and definitely not practicing patient centered care. He thinks that him being the doctor makes him King, and therefore, doesnt have to listen. Every patient is different and doesnt was medication pushed on them without trying other methods or finding out the problem 1st.
Went in earlier this week because I wasnt feeling good and had to leave work early. Easy to be seen by a healthcare professional. I was in and out of the office in less than 45 minutes. Everyone in the office was awesome and turns out I have covid. The NP was awesome to write me a note for the days off of work and the tests were quick. Would definetly go back.
The lady who answered the phone (forgot her name:white lady with black hair) and helps people at front desk is awesome. She’s very professional and to the point wasting no time. She even gave me the courtesy as a walk-in of letting me know how many people were ahead of me (due to already set appointments) and approximately how long my wait would be. Once they called me to the back, it went fast ! I highly recommend! It was my first time ever going here as I am out of town travel nurse.
Everyone was great besides the doctor himself, he was very very rude when I declined my child to get tested for Covid and then I felt like he didn’t treat us good afterwards… he was very shaky also and told us Covid almost took his life the week prior and I could tell he was mad I wouldn’t get my child tested. She only had a sore throat and had a strep test negative… either way it’s my decision and we shouldn’t have been treated negative for declining a Covid test.
Doctor was thorough. However, coming from the medical field myself. 2/3 inch nails on a nurse is NOT PROFESSIONAL OR SANITARY!
Great care! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Best walk in clinic I have ever been to!
I would be very weary of going to this place. I went there a few months ago and was improperly diagnosed, my symptoms kept getting worse and I had to then go to a different doctor and get different medicines. On top of that, I was repeatedly assured that my insurance would fully cover the bill for the services provided but I ended up receiving a $200 bill which I am currently fighting. Stay away from these guys! First was a lie regarding the coverage, then on top of that was improper diagnosis! Terrible!
Very efficient, I didn’t have to wait for hours. Every team member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The physician took the time to really interact with me and made me feel like he was truly concerned about what was going on. So many times physicians spend two minutes in the room and barley make eye contact, which wasn’t the case this time. This will definitely be my go to facility for any urgent care needs.
Even though my insurance was active but the lady on front desk forced me to pay $200 and she was very rude. I was so confused from sudden health condition that i just did what she asked later i called my insurance and made her talk to them. She put the call on speaker made everyone there listen my credentials and said yes now its good. Have a heart this is how to treat someone with emergency health conditions. I am really disappointed by the behavior of the staff.
I went here and they assured me they took my insurance. Found out later they did not and that I owed them over 500 dollars!! They would not help with the bill even though they were in the wrong. Steer clear or make sure you call your insurance company before you go here!!
I had the worse experience in this place ,me and my kids couldn’t be seen by the doctor .I took my kids because they’re sick with fever and runny nose and the receptionist named christine at the front desk was very rude to me it seemed like she was racist she asked me why we where there I told her we all were sick and then she was making faces like she couldn’t understand what I was trying to tell her and she was talking to me in a bad way she asked if we all had insurance I said yes and she asked me for our insurance cards I told her that at the moment i didn’t have all insurance cards with me and I thought she could look it up like they always do in any other place where I go and she said no you have to bring your insurance card with you , which doesn’t make any sense she was so lazy to just look it up . I went to another emergency care and they were nice and looked it up . I wouldn’t recomend this place at all especially if you’re Hispanic they’re racist . Don’t go here !!!!!
Very quick and easy scheduling of my appointment. Fast check in with friendly service. My nurse Erica was very nice and very helpful, And the doctor Jessica was just as nice and helpful. I definitely recommend putting your care in the hands of these awesome professionals!! I apologize if I misspelled or remembered name’s wrong, I’m am terrible at remembering names. Lol
Today on July 21,2023. Daughter went here having Severe allergic reaction. Whole body rash/welts, face, lips and throat swelling. Begged to be seen asap to get an epinephrine shot. The man at desk told her we have to check you in first and there are 2 people ahead of you. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? She immediately left and drove herself to Parkview ER. They immediately took her back and administered epinephrine and steroids. Her throat was CLOSING!! She was monitored for several hours. Who ever works front desk At physicians urgent care needs TRAINING for emergency situations!! I’m beyond upset!!! This could have ended up a tragic ending for my daughter due to the NEGLECT of urgent care!!My family always used this urgent care going forward NONE of us will Ever return here!
This was my third visit to Physicians Urgent Care. The staff was helpful and friendly. My daughter was seen quickly and treated well by the staff, from the intake receptionist to the nurse and the doctor on duty. Our medical issues were explained well, and we were given the same diagnosis in print form to take with us.I’m glad to have such a professional and caring facility so close to home. Thank you.
Can’t recommend enough! The walk in clinic nearest to me is the Parkview one (it’s literally just a few minutes from my home), I’ve never had good experiences there. The staff at that one was always pretty blah or not very friendly, I always felt rushed through the checkups, etc. This place is the complete opposite! Not only was the staff welcoming and friendly, but the waiting area itself was really warm and inviting. I was able to even check in ahead of time online which was a HUGE perk, since at the parkview one you need to often wait an hour or so. The nurse who first did all my vitals and things was so friendly and nice, and the doctor who did my actual exam was very professional and caring as well. I really hope anyone who reads this tries this office out - for me this is the only one I’ll ever go to for any walk-in visit needs from now on!
Very nice place. The staff is awesome, friendly, and helpful. The wait was not bad. The doctor also listened to me and didnt assume he knew better. I am not from the area but needed help while I was in town. I wish the urgent care in my area were as easy to deal with. I have not received my bill yet so hopefully I wont have to edit this post once I do but for now, I highly recommend.
I was a bit scared to go causes of some of the negative reviews, but it was such a good experience the front desk lady was so sweet and kind I think her name was crystal, literal angel love her so much. definitely coming back to this place if i ever have a problem
I just had excellent care this morning. Staff took care of me. I came in for a laceration on my eyelid. I got stiches & meds. The nurse patrice made me feel comfortable & doc assessed me took care of my eye. I would definitely go back there!!
Staff was friendly, service good, results on my covid test were processed quickly. They have a convenient online registration. However, when I made my appointment online, Im pretty sure I signed up to get a text message 30 minutes before it was time for me to come in, which I never received. So, I ended up arriving at the exact time of my appointment (they ask you to be 15 minutes early). I had to wait over half an hour before being seen. Not a big deal, still would recommend the clinic.
Great location. My go-to any time I need to be seen in a hurry. Friendly and fast. Clean and organized. AND they listen, they dont just rush you or shrug their shoulders when you talk or explain things. Highly recommended.
While everyone was nice and professional there was a lack of thoroughness with the exam. The doctor thought the patient had strep throat if he would have taken his time to look into the patients throat he would have noticed it was a peritonsillar abscess which we had to find out through another clinic when the antibiotics this urgant care gave prescription for did not work. He then had to go to an emergency room to get surgery for the removal of the abscess. It is disappointing that the doctor at physicians urgent care did not catch this or pay closer attention as peritonsillar abscess can be life-threatening.
I went for a employment physical.. from the young man at the reception desk to Mr Morgan and the physician I felt like I was at my primary doctor the way they show care! I truly value the visit and appreciate the care. They were positively personable. A quality often missed in healthcare.
Great experience here. Staff was courteous and efficient. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and had a prescription called in! I felt that Dr. Moshref was knowledgeable, kind and personable!
Excellent customer service and great care. The provider was awesome
The young lady at the front desk was pleasant. Dr. Moore is quite uncomfortable working with people that are of color. He does not make eye contact, slightly aggressive, and was obviously frustrated. I believe that more facilities should have training with the whole staff including the doctors on how to work with people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds. Due to that uncomfortable situation I would never go there again.
So upset, no one educated me that my insurance wasn’t accepted there so I just went in thinking everything was okay, then got an almost $300 bill in the mail months later. Would be nice to let people know insurances that aren’t covered so we have a chance to go somewhere else I needed. Also makes no sense because sister was seen for the exact same visit and only got charged $75 and we are on the SAME insurance. What a scam.
The lady at the front desk was so helpful. I had my x-ray done by Chris and he was very professional. Everything went smoothly and I got my result with a very short wait time. I’ve been here twice and the first time I came here was for my immunization and physical exam for immigration requirements. Both the nurse and the doctor took care of us. I highly recommend this place since their service is top notch.
Had a great experience here! Took my baby in for what I suspected was an ear infection. They were very fast and thorough. Had her antibiotic sent right over to our pharmacy. The nurses and the PA we saw were so sweet with my baby! Highly recommend this place.
This was my 2nd trip to Physicians Urgent Care. It was was just as good an experience as my first trip last year. The staff makes you welcome and feel heard from the moment you walk in the door. They are my goto on weekends or when my GP can’t get me in. I highly recommend them!
I would not recommend this place.. I was very sick when I visited this clinic. The doctor ordered a couple of tests including a strep test. However, the clinic was out of that test so they pretty much said oh well we wont do the test and assumed I didnt have strep. The doctor barely examined me and said he could do nothing for me. I understand what I probably had was viral but the doctor could have prescribed something to help with cough and trouble breathing. I proceeded to get even sicker over the next few days and went to another urgent care once I returned home where they gave me an inhaler and cough medicine.
Dr. Moore was very knowledgeable and thorough; he asked questions I hadn’t ever been asked before, and I’ve suffered from my condition for many years. After leaving, I felt I’d been given the highest level of treatment available and appropriate after-care instructions.
I always go to urgent care when I’m sick and can’t get into my doctor. Urgent care is very friendly and doctors are thorough and explains everything to you. They always take good care of me and my family, I prefer them over the ER they are quicker and less expensive also. Urgent care is only place I go when I can’t get to my doctor I don’t like other places like that I won’t mention no names.
I literally never complain but the woman at the front desk could learn how to speak to people in a better tone, I came for a Covid test after I just got off the phone with the man that told me to come in, she said rudely I wasn’t in the system and I had to wait for the other people that was sitting down before me, but I already filled out my information out online I just wanted to let her know I was there. The man called me back 1 minute after I sat down after she said that, he was really nice and made me feel very comfortable!
We had a wonderful experience with dr. Moore! my daughter has been sick since the 1st week of December. So it’s been 2 months of her being sick with no improvement at all just getting worse every day. After dealing with Fort Wayne Peds for months and them brushing us off we said to heck with them. I don’t know how someone can call themselves a doctor when they don’t do anything to help. 3 minute interactions. They are a joke. No tests, no looking in her nose mouth, checking anything at all. Just a simple glance at her, peek in the ears, weigh her and listen quickly with the stethoscope and bye. When a parent is voicing that something is wrong a doctor needs to listen. At the very least swab her for the flu, RSV, Something. We ended up taking my daughter here to urgent care on coliseum the day after the last time we took her into Fort Wayne pediatrics and lo and behold she is very sick! They listened to me, made us feel valued, heard, and helped us with out hesitations. We didn’t even have to ask for anything to be done they were on top of it. Got her in very quickly, nurses & dr. checked her pulse, oxygen levels, glucose levels, ears, nose, mouth, felt her lymph nodes, checked all over he body, felt her belly, etc.. collected a urine sample in which took 3 hours because she is so dehydrated but we got it! They checked her for the flu, RSV, Covid, multiple other things, ordered a chest X-ray. After doing all of that they found that she is dehydrated, has a ear infection in the right ear and has pneumonia. The dr came in multiple times to check her pulse bc it was pretty high at 185. They ended up giving her a shot of antibiotic along with prescribing her a antibiotic to take for 10 days. Also one of the staff members walked to Kroger in the cold and bought my daughter some pedialyte and brought it to our room to surprise us!! How selfless of this man to do this for us! I could not believe it that was extremely kind and we are great full. Doctor Moore told us that we had to take her to the ER if she didn’t start wetting diapers at least every 4 hours or if she was having issues breathing with her chest caving in. After we verbally agreed he let us go. This doctor was so caring and compassionate, he is an angel. This is a man who should be set as example to other doctors. Taking his oath seriously and caring and treating his patients as his own family. The care team here is wonderful 10/10
When you feel bad the last thing you want to deal with is being run thru hoops and long wait times which has been my experience with a lot of urgent care places. Not here. The staff was friendly they got me in to see the nurse in a timely manner. The nurse was friendly and explained everything in a clear manner. Was impressed and thankful.
I went in for severe jaw pain a couple weeks ago on a Friday afternoon. They were able to see me pretty quickly and the staff was really kind, but they prescribed me the wrong dosage of a muscle relaxer and my pharmacy needed a call from them to correct it before they could fill it. My pharmacist called them Friday evening, and didnt get a call back. I called them on Saturday morning, and was told they would try to give them a call today and that they were very busy. The person on the phone seemed mad at me for calling. They still hadnt called my pharmacy by 4pm, which is when they close on Saturday. Sunday morning I called again, and they told me they would get someone to call it in right away. Again, no one had called my pharmacy by the time they closed on Sunday. On Monday I was able to get an appointment with a dentist who prescribed the right thing, but I was in a lot of pain the whole weekend. Definitely would not recommend this place.
I made the appointment online and did the paperwork ahead of time. I appreciated it streamlined the process and I was was taken care of expeditiously - in and out for my flight COVID test with the results in hand. The staff were very nice to work with.
We made an appointment during the morning for a late afternoon appointment and we were delighted with their service.Everything is done through your phone and when you are next they call you to give you specifics and then they greet you inside. Very seamless service with great employee attitude, even though some of them work for 12 hr shifts. Really appreciate your kindness and attention even though it was almost the end of their shift. Certainly a place to consider on top of your list if we have to look for medical services in the future.
Don’t waste your time or money!!! I took my son to the coliseum rd location and he was diagnosed with mono. The very next day he was worse and I called for the dr and the nurse said they would call me back, but it might be after they closed at 4pm. I offered to bring him back and she said it was NOT necessary that someone would call me back as soon as they were able to. It’s now almost 5pm and they’re closed. No one has called and when I call I cannot get through since they’re closed. Shame on them!! He’s super sick and needs steroids for his swollen throat. Now I will have to take him to the ER or wait until tomorrow. I’m so mad and will NOT be returning!
Both my PA Kayleigh & NA Mike were efficient and knowledgeable. They also were very warm and caring. I highly recommend this location and was happy the local VA advised me to seek treatment there as VA had no availability. Job well done!
Friendly and professional staff!! I had spent the afternoon going to clinics for a DOT Physical only to find that I needed an appointment (even after calling first and not being told this). I was able to get in here, get my physical taken care of, and on my way. And they were open until 8 p.m., which was helpful as well. Thank you for taking care of me and my issue!!!
Went there with an online appointment still waiting over an hour. Had an unusual swollen foot with no cause and they took x-rays and quickly said it was a sprain which there is no way it was. They barely asked questions took my money and said I was ok to go to work. Not even halfway thru my shift my bp dropped so suddenly I almost fainted. I would never spend the kind of money they charged if I thought for a second it was a sprain which I have had multiple times in my life. Please do yourself a favor and find a place that doesnt treat you like a dollar sign.
We scheduled two Covid tests around 5 for two members of my family and I couldn’t get mine until an hour later after 6. That night the office on Coliseum Blvd in Fort Wayne, IN was extremely backed up due to the number of positive tests and the amount of sanitization they do to a room between patient visits after a confirmed positive test. We called since it was close to my appointment and they saw all three of my family members at the same time and were so polite and respectful the entire time. The whole staff deserves a round of applause. Specifically, I’d like to make sure Mike who works there is recognized for his excellent service, great bedside manner and overall tremendous care he provided my family! When he could have been easily frustrated for the already long day, the thought of a very late night, and us asking to all be seen at once, he chose the opposite and went above and beyond.
I went here for a laceration on my arm and received stitches. Unfortunately, I got an infection and returned immediately. The care I received from Megan was amazing! She took extreme precautions to ensure my arm healed. The entire staff was very professional and personable. They really cared about me and I am pleased to say that my arm healed nicely and the infection went away due to prompt and proper treatment. I highly recommend Physicians Urgent Care on Coliseum Blvd and would definitely return.
Negligence at its finest. I hurt my foot and I’ve been limping around for 8 days. I’m in more pain than I’ve ever been in before. This place took X-Rays of my foot but wouldn’t prescribe me any pain medication.I’ve only asked for pain medication twice in my whole life (once after surgery, and once today for my foot). But this place didn’t prescribe me any medication whatsoever. I spent $265 to have my foot looked at, but was given nothing to help relieve the pain, just some ankle strap.Chris and Dan were very friendly and helpful. I believe they are good people. But this place needs to be sued for its intentional failure to treat patients.
It was good until they forgot about me in the room at time of release for about 15-20 minutes. I could hear everyone talking about landscaping and pine trees and Christmas decorating. It was long enough the motion sensor lights turned off and I had to waive my arms around to get them back on. Finally stood in the doorway to remind them I was still there. Thankful they did get me RX for sinus/ear infection. Feeling better
My son came here with a high fever in May. They ran a couple of tests on him and everything came back negative so they wanted to send it off to the lab to make sure. We were told we would hear from them that Friday at latest with the results. We never heard back from them. Two weeks later I called to see what the results were just because it slipped our minds they hadn’t called even though my son was feeling better the next day after his appt. I spoke with someone explained the situation and how we never heard back and they told me they would have a supervisor call me back. No one ever called me back and today I got a bill for $200. The billing lady had the nerve to continue making excuses of why they didn’t call even bringing up how we denied a Covid Test at his appt when that has nothing to do with them not calling their patients with the follow ups they promised and they pay for. So I have to pay a $200 bill and we never knew what was wrong with my son or if they even sent the tests to the labs. So disappointing to charge someone so much money for nothing. Do your jobs it’s not that hard. I will never come here again!!
Said wait would be an hour and a half, luckily it was less than an hour. Seemed like the doc just refused to ever right a prescription before in his life and that no medication works, kinda made me wonder why I was there. Covid test was outrageously high but not really their fault I guess. Had to bed for something to ease my symptoms even after a positive test I paid 240 for. Finally got a couple steroid pills and had to get the test OTC. Staff was nice.
The professionalism is non-existent. While waiting in my exam room I could clearly hear staff outside slandering my company and my co-workers because they either do not believe we are injured or believe that our injuries are not serious. Thoroughly disappointed. Absolutely Hated every second that I spent in your care. Those people should be ashamed of themselves. Weve had people die at work, yet your professional staff believes when we get hurt at work that its a joke. I will never recommend physicians urgent care to anyone, and to anyone possibly thinking of using their care, save yourself some time and money, go somewhere they actually care about your health and wellness.
I have been to Physicians Urgent Care a number of times since Covid hit. Recently I also needed a series of x-rays. The staff is always polite and helpful. The Nurse Practitioners and Doctors have also been friendly, informative and patient in making sure my questions were answered. This is a great place for health care!
Although it was near closing when I entered the office, the medical staff didnt seemed bothered by the time. They were genuinely concerned about my need.I was in a lot of pain and was told by the physician, Josh, that he would take care of my situation. He and the staff did an awesome job. He numbed the area of my pain as he and the staff talked to me to reduce my anxiety. I was able to leave with a positive diagnosis, information on my condition and prescribed medication. I look forward to my follow-up. Those who worked the night of February 10, 2020, should be commended for their outstanding bed-side manners and professional services. Thank you.-L. Payne
There was a pretty long wait time, but I went during peak hours because that was a soon as I could get a Covid test. My physician assistant (Daniel) made up for the wait by being very friendly and helpful. He made me glad I waited that time for a room to be ready! I will be returning if I get sick again.
Flawless experience with candy corn bonus! The registration process is tedious to those like me that are technically challenged but is in keeping with the digital age. This makes for smooth orderly transition from waiting room to exam room. The staff are all great and handle patient concerns with phenomenal care and professionalism
I recently visited concerned with what I was sick with and felt like I was mocked for that concern. The nurse that assisted me did a great job. Asked the questions and took a couple tests. The waiting wasnt terrible. It was long, but there were others there before me.The doctor was my issue. His bedside manner was lacking, everything he said or even asked sounded it had a sarcastic tone to it.I ended up not having what I thought might have been the beginning of a certain illlness, but that doesnt change the fact that Im still sick.I dont visit often and havent really been sick for the past year or two, so once Im feeling this sick and its lasted a few days, Im gonna take that as a concern.Id appreciate a little more professionalism from a doctor.
They were so efficient, kind, and organized. Assessed my issues thoroughly and made sure I had a follow up with a specialist scheduled that same day. My clinician was great, I was very fortunate that she was the one taking care of me that day.
They pretty much work for the workman comp companies. I called about a appointment and touch base with them, they told me if I was going to physical therapy I did not need to be seen for follow up until I was done with the therpy. However they contact the workers comp insurance and told themI missed 2 appointments. Then I got a nasty letter from the insurance about missing appointments that I was told by physician care that I did not need to go to. They also waited about 3 weeks to do a MRI and over a week to get the results. If they got me in therpy right away I would be back to my old self again but the longer they waited the longer the healing time takes.
We went to another location, after calling getting information and was there before 9:00 a.m. to get the covid testing for our trip, at 9:15 we realized no one is coming to the door although it had an open sign and the pharmacy door was open inside. I remember a friend was telling me that she came to physician urgent Care and we was 5 minutes away. Once there, the front desk person was friendly and helpful, we was getting our virtual in 15 min or so. Next testing and waited for results. It turns out we may not have gotten the paperwork needed and thanks to urgent care we had all the paperwork needed and was taking care of. I recommend Physicians Urgent Care if you need to get your covid testing.
I was very pleased with the process of waiting in car with prompt contact via text. The physicians assistant, Meagan, was kind and knowledgeable. She didn’t make me feel rushed and had a wonderful bed side manner. The only downfall, which is expected with the unusual conditions right now, was an hour wait from my scheduled appointment time.
Started spring trip with an unexpected reaction to something…found this great clinic online. So convenient to find and used online check in to make our stop real quick. Clinic was clean and staff was great!
I had set up an appointment for 5:20 the day before. I got a notification to arrive 15 early so I came 20 minutes early. I still waited 2 and a half hours to been seen and another 30-45 minutes waiting in the exam room.I’m aware we are in a pandemic, I’m aware there’s a lot of sick people. However the entire point of scheduling ahead of time was to avoid the long wait because I had work and responsibilities. The only positive thing about my experience was the nurse helping me. Besides that it pretty much sucked and I should’ve done a drive thru test at CVS.
Friendly staff , clean positive atmosphere. Quicker than most drs office visits. Doctor Corn was awesome , quick but thorough and helped make sure arrangement for future care were made and I had all the information possible for my rare condition! couldn’t be more pleased with my visit today or my follow up visit
I highly recommend Physicians Urgent Care. From making an appointment, to the friendly face at the check- in desk, to the nurse and doctor, the care was exceptional. I have not received such good care in many of my years when needing an urgent care place. Go here!
I went to a physical urgent care to visit a doctor, and when the doctor assessment me, he asked me to lift my clothes to listen to my lungs sound at back and abdominal assessment too. Does every doctor carry out the same actions? Has anyone experienced like me? I won’t be going there again 👎👎👎
I can’t speak for their urgent care services, and I will say that there were a couple kind nurses and one helpful receptionist, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. But please NEVER ever come here for a civil surgeon’s exam. I live 45 minutes away and had to drive back and forth FIVE TIMES. Once because they don’t inform you on their website at all that they only offer the exam on certain days from 1:00-5:00. The second time, the ONE person who knew how to do the exam left early, even though I had an appointment with them. The third time, they finally did the blood test, but then the lab messed up the sample and I had to come a FOURTH TIME to get my blood taken a second time. The fifth time I went I got my physical done and I was very uncomfortable. Their procedures were like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, and the doctor (though well-meaning) was asking personal questions and making comments about my background and his political beliefs, which I felt was unnecessary. They got me taken care of, but it was a nightmare every step of the way.
Michelle was really great, friendly, and straight to the point. Listened to my tons of symptoms and helped me figure out a plan. Did end up waiting about 8 minutes to connect to the zoom call, but its completely understandable considering everyone is getting sick and needing care right now.
Friendly, efficient staff. My appointment was honored, and I had a COVID PCR test and was completely finished and good to go with the results within about a half hour total. I highly recommend them.
Have had nothing but good experiences here. I am new to the area so didnt have my own doctor yet. Previously while visiting the area, my daughter fell down some steps and required glue to close a wound, then Ive been there two more times for myself. Two of the Three times we had Dr. Joshua Button. The most recent time I had to take my daughter with me. Him and the nurse interacted with her between helping me. The nurse held my daughter so I could do my appointment. Not once did anyone make me feel like I was a burden or my daughter was in the way. He is very friendly, reassuring, lots of patience, very knowledgeable. I wish he could be our primary doctor!
Originally went here because I was having stomach issues and seeking answers because I knew this wasn’t your average flu. Doctor Allison Gilroy was so kind and explained everything to me. Once my blood work came back she sat with me and explained everything, what it meant, and the next steps. I wish I remembered my nurses name because she was a dream! Asked me so many questions and took steps to make sure I was comfortable, and listened to me and my concerns. I am truly, truly, thankful and will definitely use them for any medical needs in the future.
We were prisoners to a test we needed to get back to work and which this company used to herd us around like cattle. Arriving at 530 in the morning for supposedly only 60 test kits, we waited for hours in the rain until we are finally quickly assessed and then sent back to our cars to finish more paperwork online. We then waited for a phone call from a nurse who seemed most concerned about how we would pay for our tests. Another long wait and then allowed in for the test. An Asian woman felt that she could quickly slam the qtip back and forth until I said ouch and she said sorry. I paid for the test then. $200. Back to my car to wait some more and finally I’m allowed to speak to a nurse who told me I was negative. Total time spent? 5:30 am -11:00 am. !!! Ridiculous!!!
The most unprofessional healthcare facility I have ever been to. Upon arriving, the employee at the front desk was staying how tired she was, as I approached, I believe a tech/assistant came up behind her and asked, Is it 8:00 pm yet?. She then said, No, but it cant come quick enough. As a person who works in healthcare, I have never been so turned off. YOU ARE HERE TO PROVIDE HEALTHCARE TO OUR COMMUNITY, WE NEED YOU..... It does not make anyone feel like they are priority, let alone, leaves you to think, What kind of service will be provided when I get back to the room? They finished their conversation before they attended to me or even acknowledged I was there. I also had a bill to pay from previous visits, which I own. I paid it in full and asked if I could split it between to credit cards which she said was fine. I gave her both cards and she ran the entire balance on one. When I questioned her, she actually argued with me. I asked is there anyway to void the transaction so that we could split it correctly. Her answer was no and that I needed to contact their billing Dept. Did not even attempt to own her mistake. We are human we make them, I understand, but to not even acknowledge it, let alone blame me. WOW. The tech/assistant that came in to help me had wrinkled scrubs on and his Crocks were filthy. He also mentioned how busy they had been and how tired he was. This would never be tolerated at my place of business. Our patients come first and as healthcare providers we understand the commitment it takes, the long hours, the tedious work. We would never project that onto our patients. It was incredibly unprofessional and a real wake up call. An obvious lack of leadership and training. I will NOT return.
I was very satisfied with the professionalism, kindness, and care I received at Physicians Urgent Care. I saved my spot online and hardly waited at all. From beginning to end, I spent less than 40 minutes at the location.
It would be nice if I was able to schedule an appointment online for the Army ROTC program. I had called to schedule an appointment but since there wasn’t a response, I scheduled an appointment online. When I arrived, I had to reschedule since I needed a specific doctor. Also, there should be a female doctor for the Army ROTC physical. The male doctor I had was really nice but it was just extremely uncomfortable and felt violating. I understand he was doing his jobs and I am appreciative and respectful of that; it just would be nice to have the option to have a female doctor available for the ROTC physicals.
Went in for a migraine that I had been experiencing for 3 days. They covid tested me, told me I was positive, then sent me on my way without treating the migraine. Not a great experience.
Very friendly staff. The nurse and the doctor were professional. There was just 2 working when I got there but did a great job getting me in for my dot physical. With the flu season among us I didnt mind them tending to others first. Thank you for the services you provided for me.
Went in Wednesday to get tested for COVID waited 2 hours which is normal for a walk in. They said they would send my tests to the lab to be reviewed and I will hear from the doctor by Friday. Friday comes around 3 PM I call in and the extremely rude lady( I’m sure everyone knows who it is) at the desk tells me “the doctors are extremely busy.” I said “ I understand and when can I expect a call back as I have a 1 month old that my wife certainly could use help with.” “She said expect a call by 4PM or first thing Saturday morning.” Here we are Saturday 2PM…. Nothing and to top it off when you cal the number it’s been “disconnected”
Was very pleased with the care received here. The staff were friendly and compassionate, while also being very thorough. They were able to quickly run a variety of tests to diagnose what was causing me to feel bad. Thank you for the wonderful care I received.
Got in and out quickly. Both the PA and his assistant were kind and helpful. I was in town for an emergency with my husband . He was at the VA hospital and I had an illness that needed attention. During talking I mentioned that I hadnt had my meds for 5 days. He asked what pharmacy I had them filled to verify them and called the pharmacy and got me enough meds to last till I got back home. So they helped me 2 ways.Cant say enough, they were great!!!
I would hate to leave a public review of my experience. Please give me a phone contact to address this issue. If you are taken here by your employer just know that Physicians Urgent Care is 100% in the pocket of the contractor and your care is not their real concern! GO TO YOUR OWN DOCTOR! After a closed head injury my family member was cleared to go back to work the same day. We ended up at Parkview ER a few ours later to find she had a serious concussion. All they are interested in is a pay check from your employer!!
Wouldnt even give them a star at all to be honest. The online telehealth stuff doesnt even work. The lady that answered my call was rude, argumentative and just down right unwilling to do her job. Really sad that youve got to deal with this when youre sick...
They are very helpful. also please be patient with them they are a very very small staff team that are doing their best for their community . they found everything that was wrong w me and are still in the process of getting it figured out. I noticed there was only 2 nurses and 1 physician. and 2 desk ladys. They really deserve a round of applause doing the best they can do
The Department of Veterans Affairs sends qualifying patients to this facility under the Mission Care Act. However, this facility seems to be turning most of the Veterans away or refusing care. After inquiring why I was turned away for a simple testosterone injection. I found out they turned me away because I brought my prescription from the VA to their facility. They wanted to give me and examination then call the VA for my prescriptions, then write me a prescription then administer the injection. They are breaking the contract in regards to the Mission Care Act with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ER at the VA told me they have been getting a lot of turn aways from Physicians Urgent Care facility. This comes down to money and wanting to charge for things that dont need to be done. People wonder why we have an average of 22 veterans commit suicide a day. It frustrating we cant get care we have the right to receive but get denied. This could push someone over the edge. My experience might of been small. But it adds up in the big scheme of things. This could be and experience that pushes someone over the edge. God Bless... Semper Fi..
This was our choice for our Covid testing. They were very organized and treated us with compassion and kindness. Every staff person was friendly and knowledgeable even under the stressful circumstances. Megan Barrus gave us our results, asked us if we had questions and gave us all our needed paperwork to start our latest home isolation adventure. 2 of us went one day to be tested and the other 2 went the next day they were covid testing. Our results were faster than expected about a half an hour after we were swabbed. I would definitely choose this location on Coliseum in the future if needed and recommend them to anyone else needing medical care, especially Covid testing.
I went here recently and saw PA who dismissed my complaints and asked me if I was feeling these symptoms because I am learning about them in school right now. They treated me for a UTI even though there were no signs or symptoms pointing towards the diagnosis, and they never followed up with me as other providers from this location have in the past. I continued having pain and I took it upon myself to go to the ER and ended up having a 9cm complicated ovarian cyst requiring surgery just a couple days later. I am floored that this PA missed this diagnosis and frankly didnt seem to care to figure it out or send me to someone who could. This was my first GYN issue and my first surgical procedure, I would have hoped to have a more competent and empathetic provider in a situation like this one, or at least one that believed me when I told them I was in pain.
This was my 2nd visit here the other day. The nurse and NP John Filosa were super compassionate, caring, and patient with me as I was not feeling well at all and had a couple of moments of feeling like I was going to pass out. They took great care of me and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to see a Healthcare professional.
Went for cough and breathing issues. The staff was great and I didn’t have to wait long. They were thorough and prescribed drugs accordingly. It’s been two days and already feeling better.
All the staff there were so friendly and helpful. They made me very comfortable and at ease! The doctor who treated me was great. I was very impressed. I was kinda freaking out about my eye and what was wrong with it. That the doctor and staff alm helped me through it!! I would recommend anybody that needs to go to a clinic this Should be the one you go too! Excellent doctor, great staff!!!
This urgent care has wonderful staff especially for how busy they are. my experience overall was not great due too miscommunication. I was written an order by a doctor who did not write a “code” on there and when I took the order to the location I was told they said they couldn’t accept this with no code and the place they sent me did not have what I needed. Because I had no work done at urgent care I asked for my money back didn’t receive it back the first time I asked. I came back to understand what was going on and why they sent me with no “code” the front desk lady was patient and kind with me and was able to help me and find a nurse/doctor to help me out. Those two ladies clarified the problem. as for the doctor I’m disappointed.
Ive seen a couple posts about long lines for covid testing. They have updated their procedures and you will not experience this. (Im writing this Dec 5 2020). However, you do have to sign up between 12am and 12:02am or you will not get a slot. I am not joking.Besides the difficulty getting an appointment, my experience here was excellent. I called 20 minutes before my appointment with a question and not only did she answer it, she suggested a way for them to be able to save me money. They have you check in in the parking lot over text, and they call you when theyre ready for you. (At least that was my experience dec 2020)I texted back to the automatic text that it sent me with something like sorry, my phone is having trouble uploading the back of my insurance card. To which an actual human texted me back immediately with youre fine. The nurse and physician were kind and even asked when I had moved here etc.For rapid covid testing they do have you come inside but they have these super bright UV lights that they turn on after you leave that sterilize the whole room.Overall I was very impressed with the service I got which seemed to be above and beyond my expectations.
My daughter has been sick and exhausted. I took her in last night for tx. They did a covid test and said it would be 20 min and it an hour for anyone to come back to the room. The test came back negative and the PA stated it could still be covid and bring her back in a few days to get re tested. She dx her with an acute upper respiratory infection. She then refused to prescribe anything to help clear up her symptoms. I argued with her about this and she said she will not prescribe any meds and walked out of the room. I have never seen no meds being prescribed for what she was dx with. Worst care ever.....
The doctor (Josh - I think was his name) showed genuine concern for my health. He was patient and kind and took the time to listen and address my concerns. The nurse was also genuinely interested in me as an individual. If all your staff are this personal and yet professional you are very fortunate.
Outstanding group of people!!! I cant say enough ,took excellent care of my son 💙 ❤️ ♥️. Thank you all for Being so great !Very hard to find these day .God Bless the Fagan Family.
Horrible experience. Went to get my 3 month daughter rash on her neck looked at and they dont accept mhs healthwise, which is what a lot of moms and their kids are on. Then she said i need to pay 160 right then and there, which i didnt have. We had to go to redimed on other side of town to get her looked at. I never heard of any urgent care being picky about health insurance.
Whenever something is wrong with me or my family we go to Urgent Care. They have a very clean facility. The staff goes above and beyond to please. Very Kid Friendly!!! They always follow up every visit with a follow up call 1-3 days later. The Doctors explain everything so you can understand. If you dont agree with something express your concern here, and they will listen to you here.
Not my favorite, looking at posted online wait times, (15-30 min.) I really didnt think it would take 49 min. to be taken to a room. After a 2 min pre check waited another 10 min for PA. total in room,23 min. I understand some people have more issues and can take longer, but watching another woman in the waiting room in obvious (back?) pain I wonder if this place would be my first choice. I only saw 1 Doctor on staff, dont believe there were any more there. As for cost, the cheapest service on their Menu was $130. (no insurance) Be prepared to wait. (Total time: 1hr23min) for Simple infection.
Just moved to Ft Wayne and had no idea where to go fast for a broken foot. Quick, friendly and the cost was very reasonable. I do wish they had SOME type of kid friendly waiting area. But thankfully wifi was available. We were in and out so fast. Everything was explained clearly by the physician. Will definitely be back if another emergency arises.
I was seen on a Sunday for extreme pain from a pinched nerve and was unable to move my neck and my left arm was going numb. I do not have insurance, so I opted for the clinic over the hospital. The doctor who treated me was very thorough and kind. I was prescribed a steroid and muscle relaxant which seemed to help within a few hours. I began having a lady reaction to the steroid (as I have had in the past) and called on Monday, just 24hrs after my initial visit, asking if I could have an antibiotic to clear it up and explained it has happened in the past with the same steroid. I was told I’d need another visit (after I paid $200 just 1 day ago) and they could not help me otherwise. Pretty disappointing as I’m not asking for controlled substances and I was just seen.
The staff at Physicians Urgent Care on Coldwater Road in Indiana is great! They were caring and clearly explained everything. Dr. Noel Moore listened as I described my symptoms, clearly explained his tentative diagnosis and after running a few tests he confirmed the diagnosis. He patiently addressed my follow up questions. At no point did he or any staff seem rushed or preoccupied. I liked Dr. Moore so much that I’d be pleased to have him as my primary care physician.
My experience was fantastic. There was practically no wait at all to see the PA, and his exam was EXTREMELY thorough. He gave me good advice, and he was very personable. As was the rest of the staff. All in all a very positive experience.
Both my 2 year old and I have had Dr. Connie and she is amazing. I would be happy to have her be our family doctor if that were an option! Have been here 4 separate occasions and have always been seen promptly and all staff have been very friendly. I also like that you can add yourself to the waiting list online! I definitely choose Physicians Urgent Care over RediMed these days.
I went to Physicians Urgent Care to get a TB test for a job and I was seen within minutes. Everyone was incredibly nice. I would definitely go again if I needed to see a doctor.
I was nervous not knowing what it would be like going in for a covid screening with the idea of other potential patients who could be positive for covid. Everything-from how they buzzed you in the front room all the way to the bedside manner of the doctor and nurse was 10/10. The doctor even went the extra mile to do additional testing for me during my visit. It was such a relief! Thank you guys for your amazing care and teamwork! ❤️
Was great once I got in. I went online and signed up to get in line at 10:30 and was told my appt time was 2:40. Arrived at 2:40 for a simple UTI and waited TWO MORE HOURS. Whole appt took about 20 minutes. Will NEVER USE THIS CLINIC AGAIN!!!
Physicians Urgent Care was very efficient and professional when I went recently to get a covid test. I was in and out very quickly and only had to wait for less than 5 minutes. The whole experience was seamless, from the test, to the quick vital signs check up at the end by the PA. I highly recommend going to Physicians Urgent Care for a covid test or for any medical needs you may have.
I went there yesterday. I wasnt feeling good I was checked in the wait wasnt long. The P. A. she was awesome she took her time sent me home with what I needed to get better. From being checked in to be checked out all the people I was in contact were about business. I was recommended by my sister and I would recommend anybody to go there.
I went into Physicians Urgent Care to get a referral for a problem I had with my hand. I was greeted promptly and the desk attendant/nurse took my information. The waiting time to get back to a room was about 15 minutes. Once in the room, I immediately met with a physicians assistant who was able to diagnose the problem in my hand. The x-ray facilities are great (although one of the nurses was unhelpful when I asked how the medical coverage for that service would work with my health insurance), and I had a very positive experience with the physicians assistant and x-ray technician. The clinic was able to refer me to a specialist, and a staff member has followed up several times to check-in about everything related to my appointment.I am deducting one star because of the nurses and desk staff with whom I have interacted. While I understand health insurance is confusing, the nurse I asked didnt seem to know anything about x-ray coverage and like I was crazy for asking. I also have had problems with the front-desk staff who have called/I have called to speak with the other staff members at the clinic. To me, having a front desk person who is easy to understand over the phone is imperative, and it was not good to have to ask several times for the person to either speak up or repeat what she said.
What a nightmare!! I went 3 different times to get a “rapid” test. I was able to finally get one one the 3rd try. Yes, it says it’s a rapid test. But I was there for 7.5 hours!!!! There is no set number of tests they will do in a day. So you have no idea if you will get a test or not. The day I was there, there were people who were there an hour before they opened, and they didn’t get a test. I understand they are testing a lot of people, but the system to get them through there, is seriously flawed. The paper they give you with your results on it, assuming it says you’re negative, says you’re “probably negative”. Physicians do not trust the rapid tests. You’re better off getting a real test and waiting the 7-10 days for results.
Currently here at Physicians Urgent Care. Facilities: 5/5Length of wait: 1/5Time in lobby with only one other person ahead 23 minutes. Not bad actually.Time in room waiting to be seen: 67 minutes. No communication so a little in the dark. Will update this post as the rest of appointment plays out.
Was able to get appointment same day. Nice to be able to wait in car until time. Quick results less than hour. Second time to use this location and will definitely return for Covid testing.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Went there for a COVID test, followed all their sit and wait instructions, 4.5 hours later, they forgot me and went to lunch. Said I left. I didnt move my vehicle from where they told me to go. They tried blaming it on how they were so busy. Tried calling their line a few times totalling about a 2 hour hold only to get disconnected. Will be the last place I ever go again if I can help it.
My son was given the dosage of antibiotic for an infant and is 9! To top it off, they misdiagnosed him, causing us to have to go to his normal doc, paying another visit, buying more antibiotics (the correct ones). To boot, when I called to ask to talk to the DR or a nurse I was told no I’d have to bring my son in for another visit! Great- so I can pay another $130 when it was a question over an antibiotic THEY prescribed!I’m better off going to ER where a real DR could treat my child and actually care about his well being.
This place felt a lot more sanitary than redimed and doctors/nurses wore more PPE and it just felt safer, but I felt like it was a bit unorganized. I got a covid and a test strep and the dr told me my covid test was negative and said I was good to go and I asked for my strep results and he said they were negative and then sent me out the door with no paperwork for my strep results.
Had an hour and half wait. I left to go and get food with my fiancé and when we came back I WAS next but I had two people put in front of me AFTER I arrived. So I had to wait for an extra half an hour. I finally got around to seeing my physician and he ran his test. I had a cold, couldn’t give anything for my drainage or my coughing, but thought it was a good idea to give me nausea medicine. Even though I wasn’t nauseous.
Physician Assistant, Dan, was professional, approachable, and full of helpful information. He thoughtfully answered the questions I had and eased my concerns. He even let me know of his schedule for the rest of the week in case I had additional questions. Would highly recommend.
2-3 Hours of waiting. We got here with only 1 other person waiting ahead of us. We waited 30 mins then werw called back. We waited 2:23 hours for the damn doctor. Keep in mind the doctor was outside talking about his Sundays BBQ that he made. We had to go out and yell at them before they even bothered to check on us. I would avoid this place unless you have a lot of free time.
I coach a national team on a sport for athletes who are blind and we have to travel internationally often. Physicians Urgent Care is the only facility I would take the athletes to sue to their amazing customer service, reliably, and great disability awareness. I only wish more places had this kind of client first service!
I would give them 10 stars!!! All staff is knowledgeable, helpful and caring! Also...the waiting area and rooms were very clean!Drove an hour for them to see our 8 month old son. We were seen right away, diagnosed, and back on the road in 40 minutes!!
I was able to see the doctor within an hour, with an appointment. I had a thorough checkup and xrays to determine the care I needed. I feel better already. This is my second time using this facility and have been very pleased both times.
This experience was one of the most frustrating that I can ever recall at an urgent care. I started at the front door and a sign directed me to the back door. I went in the first door and had to tell the person on the inside my purpose for being there. I was then directed to return to my vehicle and wait for a text from them which I was to respond to-which I did. First I had to take photos of my DL. Then I was asked to do the same with my insurance cared. Here’s the issue, I have Tricare insurance, they don’t send out cards-and the medical billing people verify your enrolment via your ssn. I went back and forth with some lady in the building. Finally, she had me photograph my expired military ID. Okay, now I wait. Then I am told to drive back around front. After waiting nearly two hours I had to use the rest room. I’m told to drive around to the back and go through that door. I use the facility and then drive back around to the front. Finally someone comes out the front door and has me go in to get my vial signs. Then I am told to wait in my veh again. It’s now over two hours, when finally the doctor walks up listens to my breath sounds, while I am seated in the veh.. he then hand me a preprinted packet incl an Rx. and instructions and sends me on my merry way. When I got home I looked at the instructions. They noted that I had refused COVID testing. Funny thing about that is that they never asked me if I wanted to be tested, because had they I would have said yes. But in no way, shape or form did I refuse to be tested. Considering I am over the age of 60, and over weight and that I went there with a suspected case of bronchitis, you would think that a COVID test would be the first step.
I came in, not realizing they closed in 5 minutes. I was diagnosed with an ear infection and allergy induced bronchitis. Physicians Urgent Care likely saved me a trip to the ER. I received excellent care and am proud to recommend them to anyone.
I was a recent patient at Physicians Urgent Care. All of the staff was very pleasant and personable. However, I want to express a special appreciation for Dr. Moore. I came in with a rare/unique symptom that most physicians would not have easily solved but because of Dr. Moores obvious experience and the fact that he LISTENED CLOSELY to his patients description of the symptoms, he found the issue and addressed it so professionally. Thank you Dr. Moore- your new patient, Angela Fields.
The best urgent care experience Ive ever had. I got quick service from caring professional staff. My provider had common sense and didnt rush to using medication and didnt talk to me like I was a child. Excellent care, thank you!
I am diagnosed with bronchitus twice a year and I always see the male physician and he prescribes me the same medicine every year. Ive never seen this lady before that was the new physician and she refused to give me the proper medicine for me to get better. She also ran no tests on me to even prove what i had. Will not use again.
The young lady that checked us in was exceptional in her customer service. We were to get PCR testing in Warsaw and she called us and got us into Fort Wayne due to scheduling issues in Warsaw. Thank you so very much !!
I went to urgent care for quick service and thats exactly what I got plus some. I was greeted right away and was asked the right questions to make my visit as quick as possible. Joshua Button was my physician, and he was very professional and gave sound advice.I hope not to have to return, but if Im sick again Ill come back to this location.
They refused to see me when I tested negative for covid and showed symptoms. Lost my paid leave. Over $1000 lost. Thank you urgent care. Ive never felt more attacked in my life. Not worth the effort.
The staff was so kind and helpful!! I did make an appointment, but I was in and out in 30 min. Very clean facility, overall a fantastic experience.
Friendly people. Looked on website to set appt, but didn’t want to wait that long. Called and found out the waiting time. Got me in quickly when I got there. Thank goodness they were open on a Saturday.
Sunday may 2nd around 1oclock I Went in for a pre employment drug test, but couldnt go ya know. The nurse who was assigned to me was very patient, nice, and attractive. I hope she sees this post and gets in touch with me 402-3515. 🍀 🤞
There is no clear signage on where a line should be formed for covid testing. People start waiting hours before they open due to a limited number of tests daily. When a staff member arrived she told everyone to line up out back. It was a mad dash to the back. People cutting and ZERO social distancing! So much confusion and lack of instructions! With their supply being high in demand....get a better game plan!!
My daughter brought me in to Physicians Urgent Care on Sat. June 22, 2019 for severe wrist and hand pain. They were all extremely nice and helpful towards me. Dr Moore ordered 4 x-rays and said that I had a huge amount of arthritis....different kinds, Osteo as well R/A. They gave me a steroid injection, and then wrapped my hand in a splint.I would give them 5 stars for my care that day. Many Thanks to all of you.Debbie Feighner/ Fort Wayne, IN.
Dan, PA was amazing! He was so good with our 3 year old! Highly recommend this urgent care!!!! The whole staff was great!
The Dr. was very good. The tech was quick but left me feeling like the foot in room one. The x-ray tech was also very good. A pretty decent experience, overall.
Visit would have been near free, but I learned when I walked in that I had an outstanding balance I had to pay from the year before I would even be seen, back when I hadnt used my insurance. Kind of heavy, when youre in pain, to have to deal with that sort of stuff. LUCKILY, I had money (oof), so I got seen. Go in as early as you can, especially on the weekend! The visit itself was great (if you ignore the pain, I mean) - the nurse who saw me was quick but had a great bedside manner and the doc (Moore) was quick and precise (and looks like a dead ringer for Nathan Lane)! I got both meds that I needed and he gave me a recommendation for a home remedy that worked wonders on some quite severe pain. I have no problems with home remedies as long as they work, and this one worked!
The staff was very nice. The office was clean. There is an air purifying system. All offices should have this and advertise it. The service was excellent. I am recommending them to everyone I know.
Receptionist was friendly and I got seen quickly. Both the doctor and PA or nurse (not sure which but he took my vitals and other relevant information) were very friendly and professional.
DO NOT GO HERE! Go to the ER it will be a fraction of the price for a more capable facility with my insurance and my $20 deductible I still paid out over $500 for one visit and you would think for a charge of that size they would mail or call you with a breakdown of the charges... No they email u a message saying that your being charged and no details also that email will probably go to ur junk mail because even your computer knows its to outrageous to be real! My family and I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!
Another great experience. I can always count on Physicians Urgent Care for whatever is wrong. I love this place. Todays visit I felt all of my concerns were addressed. The medical care I received was appropriate. I recommend this place to everyone I know.
The folks here are top notch in both customer service and treatment. Everyone here is extremely accommodating and professional. There’s also hardly ever a long wait to be seen!
Came for pre employment drug test. Done several times at other places and it’s always in and out. Here it took about an hour just to pee in a cup. Staff just talking about Reese’s and hOw RaBBiTs ArE bEsT SmOKeD. Unprofessional and slow. Update : did accident report drug screen and took twice as long as was accused of using fake pee
Got there early, it took a while, but that’s expected because of how many people there are and having to run tests! All of the nurses were super friendly and super nice and the doctor was extremely patient when answering my questions
Im always pleased with the care at this facility. Its my 2nd or 3rd visit. Fast. Efficient. Friendly. And the medical care has always been appropriate. Im a retired RN!
They tested my husband and told him he was negative for COVID. 4 days later he decided to get tested again as the symptoms got worse. He went back and they told him he tested positive the previous appointment, they just accidentally gave him the wrong paperwork. This was wreckless and dangerous as Im pregnant and high risk.
Allergic reaction to only God knows what. Inflamed, itching, swollen, almost in tears! After care from nurse and physician..feeling 100% better! The physician checked in on me several times to make sure I was OK. I was not rushed! Best choice I made for todays care!
I was in and out. The staff was not only efficient, but kind as well. The Dr came in to give me my results and made sure all of my questions were answered. Registration was quick and easy. And the results are not only rapid, but accurate as well.
Every one very kind. I had covid test. The NP answered all my questions and was very sincere. Every one wearing masks, but I could see their smiles in their eyes. All employees from receptionist to all staff in back. I will come here for any needs.
Terrible service. Left work early, got there at 3 because I knew they closed at 4.. didnt get help from the doctor until 4:10! Doctor was in a rush to go home, didn’t take any tests, just felt my stomach and made me pay $50 just for him to send me to the ER, during a snow storm! Told me 2 things he thinks it was and it wasnt either after multiple tests were ran at the ER. I should have been told when I first entered the office that there was nothing the dr could do and I would have saved my money. Ridiculous and I will never go back.
I was very upset about the 1 hour wait just to do a drug test. My time and is more valuable than that. They would not be my first choice for urgent care.
Real nice and helpful team.they were quick on my procedure.i get my physicals done every yr.always smiling and grateful.thank you urgent care.
Theyre always very professional and efficient here. Ive needed to come in a couple of times recently and the wait is never long. The providers are competent, personable, and explain things well.
Im visiting relatives in Fort Wayne. So when I came down with an eye infection and a back problem, I didnt know who to go to. Luckily, when I looked for an urgent care center near the Johnny Appleseed RV Park, I found Physicians Urgent Care on Coliseum. All the folks there were kind and caring. But I particularly want to thank the PA, Josh, who treated my eye and who got me in for an MRI within 48 hours. I highly recommend this clinic to all.
Caring, kind and honestly the best medical staff I have come across in recent time pre and post pandemic. On a scale of one to ten... 10. Definitely recommend, but just make sure you secdule a head if possible. The wait can be a time gamble but other than that great service.
Super friendly staff. Quick service.Clean facility. Great experience, even though I wasn’t feeling well. Went over everything clearly.Would definitely recommend .
Very friendly staff, professional service, and clean clinic. Chris at the front desk was awesome, and then the doctor and PAs were so nice and helpful.
Not helpful and not understanding, almost cost me my job due to them taking 2 weeks to sign off on paperwork
Friendly staff, fairly quick service (as far as urgent care goes) lab on site made my visit that much easier so I could start feeling better. If your not feeling good, Id recommend you go here and see a doctor.
Im sure its a great place for anything except an Immigration Physicial Exam. The front girls have very little knowledge on this and gave wrong information multiple times. If you do get your INS physical there, get it all done there in one step, do not listen the front girls and get it all at your Drs to save money...you will get denied and have to redo it. It wasted over a month and left us paying double plus missing work for multiple office visits. They dont understand this can literally ruin a persons life.
I have insurance. I took my daughter here for an ear ache. The front desk stated we wont know how much the bill will be and we dont know when the bill will be due but we will email you 10 days before the bill is due. Today, December 23rd 2017 i check my online banking and this office took $337 out of my account. Obviously upset, since if i was a cash customer my bill would have been $130 since no test or bloodwork or ex rays are needed to diagnose an ear infection ( doctor looks in ears, sees redness, then prescribes medication). Call billing, they have no answer other than to check my junk mail...the this is not a bill email was in my junk email....and yes, it was 337 dollars. The office in addition to billing did state they have a contract with blue cross blue shield and they dont set prices...get it...but the office staff does control whether or not they inform a patient about how horrible of a contract they have with blue cross...but instead, since im insured, they just figure they could charge 330 dollars two days before christmas. So, its not the bill, not the timing, not the physicians service, but the receptionist and the person who trained the receptionist who has caused this complaint. So if in fort wayne, go to redimed. Never had a problem there.
They acted like I was there only to get a note for work ..I have covid with a lot of other health issues and they didnt bother to ask about anything about that they sent me out the door with out any thing but a covid test felt like they didnt care about my pain or nausea
Worst medical center ever!! The Dr misdiagnosed both of my children and made them worse... Furthermore charging for things they never even done to my children total bill after insurance, the bill was over $500. Save yourself time and money go somewhere else. When called about the billing I spoke with 5 different people and all didnt even care about the issues. Even called the clinic and they didnt care either as to what was billed. Paid the bill and will be discussing with my legal team.
I visited this location for a fractured finger. I simply had xrays done, a quick briefing from the doctor, and then a nurse wrapped my finger with gauze and tape, nothing more! BUT, a couple weeks later I receive a bill for $700 for SURGERY that I apparently had done here (and yes they accepted my insurance and insurance was questioning this absurd bill). I called the location back and they really said “wrapping the finger for a fracture is considered surgery, we apologize, there’s nothing we can do about it”. Seven-hundred dollars for gauze and tape on a minor finger fracture.
The check in was very simple to go through. The nurse and physician assistant were very professional and knowledgeable and very courteous and carrying . If you cant get in to sre your primary care physician, this is the place to go.
New facility, great technology to keep patients informed on how long the waiting process is. My son was asking when it was his turn, and they have a TV screen setup with patient first name and wait time, very informative and accurate process.
I had an appointment for my Son to get a physical for college. We got in and out in timely manner and my son thought that it was a good experience. The price was right also!
My experience at physicians urgent Care what is the best Ive had since Ive been in fort Wayne for three years dr. Moore and the staff were incredibly awesome they didnt play around it was no protocol they got right to the point its the way a doctor should be sure hope he sticks around for a while thanks again sincerely cliff
I love their online check in process. I was in and out quickly and the workers were very personable and gave me great care with clear directions and steps for following up.
I appreciate that they got me in quickly. However, the school physical had items reported that were not evaluated. (I am a Physician Assistant student and know how to conduct a proper physical exam - many things were listed as checked but were not actually assessed.)
Make sure to check with your Insurance Provider before receiving the COVID test from Physicians Urgent Care in Fort Wayne, or anywhere else. My provider PHP is trying to bill me ~$240.00 for the testing services ($175.00 for the physician visit & $65.00 for the lab services). I am in contact for with my benefits coordinator, so hopefully these fees will be written off. The staff is very professional and strives to get you in as soon as possible.
Everyone here is so nice. The nurse I have seen twice is so down to earth and kind. The doctor is very caring. Don’t have to wait in the waiting room forever either like most places.
Took my Son in yesterday and the Provider and staff were very nice. Provider explained and made sure we left happy. Also loved that we didn’t have to wait!
The people were super nice but we got here early (before 8:00) and it is now 1:39 and we still don’t have our results. Super inefficient way of doing things. Been a frustrating day. This is not my idea of rapid testing at all.
Don’t brother checking in online... my appointment was at 9:40 my friends was 9. It’s 9:50 and I went before he did. I asked the front office staff why I was going first and all she had to say was “I don’t know, you don’t have to go first.”. The care isn’t urgent but the back staff is pretty friendly. The front staff.. not so much.
Very helpful! Very clean! Very professional! I advise to anyone with urgent care to attend….. very nice place thank you for your services. God bless you all!
What a scam went in needing antibiotics. I told them I have swollen lymph nodes and I need meds. I was in front of doctor 7 minutes so he could confirm. He wrote scrips as needed. 5 months later I recieved my bill of 333.00. Im now over 120 days and paying way to much for what I recieved. Dont come here, Scam Alert!
I called before coming here and asked if they took our insurance. She said yes, so we went there and waited almost an hour to be told, “umm we don’t take your insurance.” I said, “you’re just now telling me after waiting all this time?” Please educate your staff before wasting peoples time!
Phenomenal staff was greeted as soon as I came through the door paid attention to everything I was saying their customer service was phenomenal it was some of the best treatment I had since I’ve been in Indiana this was a follow up visit from another urgent care facility that I have went to a few days ago and to compare the two experiences were like night and day
Nothing to write home about. I went in for a pre employment drug screen. I didn’t have to wait terribly long to be seen. Only complaint is that the nurse wasn’t too personable. I would go back to that location should the need arise.
Great friendly staff. Wait times are non existent. Staff does not treat you just as another case, but they actually care about your affliction. Prices are very reasonable fro the different levels of care you need as well if you use self pay
Finally you get to see a physician unlike at redi med. Clean, professional, affordable for those like myself that dont have insurance, friendly, and fast. Super great experience. Ps. You actually get a real assessment and a physician who shows concern and compassion. This is what Fort Wayne needed A REAL urgent care facility. I will NEVER go to another Redi Med every experience there was horrible!
MY HUSBAND WENT THERE WITH ANTHEM AND FOUND OUT THEY DONT TECHNICALLY TREAT EVERYTHING.DONT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE PUBLIC ASSISTANCE THATS NOT ANTHEM! They turned my kid away because she doesnt have the right kind of insurance. We have Hoosier Healthcare. Probably cuz they charge ridiculously and the state isnt interested in paying outrageous charges. I dont know, but they dont tell you anywhere on their website, signs or magnets that they provide. Unreal to turn patients away when they have perfectly good insurance! It wasnt like it was life threatening. And what if it was...thats even worse!
I had a good experience here. I was seen in a timely mannerly and was given a thorough exam and at-home instructions for getting better.
Each step member was delightful to work with. Your care was very professional and very efficient. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.
So much better than RediMed. The nurses and doctors are so nice and I have yet to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen once I check in. Very reasonable and clean. I would tell anyone who needs urgent care to come here over any other place.
The care and attention were full of warmth and professionalism! Very dedicated staff who are willing to provide solutions to patients’ needs at PUC. Kudos!
Overall very satisfied with their staff and services.Staff is very friendly and eager to accomodate patients. Used this facility on several different occasions and would higly recommend them.
It was a great experience with stall and Dr Mortis, Each one was friendly dly and helpful, GREATLY APPRECIATE THE CARE THEY GAVE ME..GOD BLRSS.
Quick care and John was very good!! I would go back for any urgent care needs. Very nice staff!
From the moment I walked in they were very friendly and helpful. The doctor was kind and actually listened. Thank you very much!!
Lady handling the phone calls lacks decent customer service cutting clients off with statements such as “I know that” and not even saying goodbye after a phone call. Do we inconvenience you giving you our business?
The wait was entirely too long. You can make an appointment and still have to wait. They said the wait time was 18 minutes. We were there in total almost 3 hours for a physical.
