I arrived and tried to check in at the appointment terminal. It wanted a bar code and when I asked the receptionist ( heather) which barcode to use she snapped at me in a condescending way and was too lazy to get up and help me or help me with the checkin at her desk. I have used other Samara locations and never had issues. I sat for 30 minutes past my appointment time and then went to the desk to see if she would confirm my check in. She said “yes, I was just about to ask you for your orders. She could have done that when I was standing in front of her. 5 minutes later she asks me for my insurance card! On a better note, the technician who did my blood draw was awesome!!!

Ive been coming here for the past couple of years. I see all the negative reviews and couldnt disagree more.After consistently using other extremely busy Sonora Quest locations, I was happy to find such a calm location.Not only is this Fountain Hills location always very quiet, the staff is ALWAYS consistently friendly and professional. Im usually in and out within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment.Ive also never had any billing issues.There are other closer locations. However, this one is the best hidden secret.Keep up the great work! You will always have my business.

Got me in and out right on time, quicker than other Sonora Quests i’ve been to in the Valley. I am super picky & anxious about draws & the tech was awesome. Very quick & no pain, always such a bonus! Will be back to this location for future tests, 5 stars!

BILLING WARNING!!!!The people that work here are nice, good service, no complaints there. HOWEVER I had a blood draw 5/2022. Have an invoice dated 11/2022 showing a balance due of $550, so I paid it 1/2023 worried because it says its past due and will go to collections.I just found out my Health Share plan sent $151 toward this bill 8/2022 which is the adjusted price - nothing more due by me. The 11/2022 SQ invoice does NOT reflect this payment, although the check was sent 3 months prior.I then called Sonora Quest. The rep saw both payments. Said she would send the request to the Refunds Department to send me a check for the $550 I sent in January. I asked if it would have eventually worked its way through the system to refund me? NO! She actually said NO - I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWNENT THEM $550 I DIDNT HAVE TO; SONORA QUEST WOULD HAVE KEPT ALL $701! I hope she is wrong, but until I learn otherwise, this warning stands.

Came here to the fountain Hills location to have blood drawn. I called and spoke with Sonora quest labs main number to find out about walk-ins. I was told I could up till 4 today. When I walked in at 3:15 pm with my orders I was told no walk- ins. There was no one waiting, the two Techs behind the desk were doing nothing. I am still in front and it is now 3:35 and no one else has come into the laboratory since I have been writing this review. Remember when people took pride in their work. Not here. Two people sitting on their behinds doing nothing except sitting and talking. I advise everyone to rethink Sonora Quest laboratories and take your business to Banner Health Network . There they treat you like a person and not like piece of deadwood. By the way it is now 3:45 and still no one has walked in. I guess they really dont want our business.

My wife and I came 72 hours before our international travel so we could get PCR Covid test to travel and they swabbed us charged us $100 each and now we’re 12 hours away from leaving and just found out our test was canceled due to a faulty tube… no email, no call, we luckily found out from scouring their patient portal. Nice people but unprofessional business. Find somewhere else to go if you can

Scheduled a two hour glucose test according to their website. Their earliest appointment was 11a so I took that even though thats already a long time to fast. Then they called me just about 30 min before my appointment (right as I was pulling out of the driveway since I live in Rio Verde). They said they cant see me at 11a because the office closes for lunch and they cant finish my draw and no one is allowed to sit in office while they eat (even though their site said to prepare for possible five hours of waiting, how do they schedule a glucose test during that time if they know that no one can wait?). She said if she had seen it earlier she would have called me to come in earlier . Trust me, if they had an earlier time I would have taken it! I have to have test done today so now I have to continue fasting until 1:30p when they can see me and this interferes with other appointments I have already scheduled for today that now need to be cancelled. She was nice enough so thats why I gave two stars instead of one, but this is a huge issue and not good customer service at all. Im already sick enough, going without food for so long just makes it worse. I am not impressed so far. I will see how the rest of the draw goes then will adjust rating accordingly.

This place never sent my mothers labs to her doctors office. And the results have never been posted on her account. We provided all the correct info to them to forward results to her doctor. This was in late July. What happened to the lab work?

My 1 and a half month old had to have her blood drawn which requires a heel poke. The first time, they didnt keep the warming pack on long enough and her blood wasnt dripping as fast. Caused a screaming baby and a very worried mommy. The 2nd time an inexperienced tech attempted to draw my infants blood. Blood was pouring everywhere except the tube and and caused a screaming baby and very nervous mommy. I was asked to get the other tech from the front to assist who did a little. But theni inexperienced tech continued to draw blood, put a band aid on my infants foot, and thought she was done. Apparently she didnt take enough blood, so the experienced tech had to REPOKE my infants other foot.They were rushed, inexperienced, and unprofessional. Would not recommend for infants or babies.

It’s 3:24. I called previously in the week to ask a few questions. I was told I have to come in before 4:00 to receive the answers to my questions. I finally have time to do so and everything is locked and no one here over 30 min prior to closing.I have tried calling since 2:30 just to schedule. What’s the deal? Like seriously. This is incredibly obnoxious.

The local employees are friendly and efficient. I definitely recommend using the online scheduler and if you are not fasting, take an afternoon slot which will guarantee you a no wait, in and out visit in amazing time.

Showed up at 7am without an appointment, but I was seen very quickly. Staff are really nice and the service was as close to painless as it could be (Im a nervous customer with these things)
