Love Love Dr. Ellis she truly has an annoiting on her life as being a doctor. Such loving, caring and compassionate energy towards her patients. I went in on 09/23/2024 for a partial hysterectomy which was originally scheduled for 10/25/2024 but she pushed it to ASAP due to the severity of my pain. I love that Dr. E does whats in the best interest of the patient. My surgery was a success and Im thankful to Dr. Ellis and the entire team that took care of me. Everyone was professional and very caring to me. They made sure I was comfortable and ok from beginning to end. Shout out to you all! I will end this by saying if you are looking for a Top Tier OBGYN/Gynecologist do not hesitate to call one of the best that I have experienced in my 46 years of living and having two children. She is one of the BEST!
I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Vaughan. Her professionalism and compassionate approach made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our visit. All the staff at hospital especially Dr.Vaughan took the time to listen to our concerns, answer all our questions thoroughly, and provided clear explanations about baby and mothers health
If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. I scheduled an appointment for today at 10:45 with Dr. Riley, but I was rejected because I arrived at 10:59—still within their stated 15-minute grace period. There was no wait at the front desk when I arrived, so I thought I had made it just in time. However, the front desk attendant said she needed to check with Dr. Riley and made me wait 15 minutes, only for Dr. Riley to say she was too busy to see me. This contradicts their own policy, which was reiterated in a text message I received this morning.This isn’t an isolated issue. Previously, I requested an HSG from Texas Health in Plano, where I had the same procedure done 2 years ago before my first baby. My OB/GYN and her staff refused to place the order, referring me only to Dallas IVF. A similar situation occurred when I requested a specific pelvic floor therapist; they would only refer me to someone in-house.Before leaving, I requested a copy of all my records so I can find a new office with better client-patient rapport. The lack of flexibility and consideration from Dr. Riley and her staff is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend this office to anyone.
Dr. Vaughn is absolutely amazing! She doesn’t make you feel just like another patient. She is so patient and truly does care for you. I will always recommend her!
I started as a patient of Dr. Patterson’s many years ago at a different facility. She delivered both of my children who are now 11 and 8 years of age. I adore her. Since I am no longer in my OB era and now more GYN focused, I recently had the pleasure of seeing a new provider at the clinic, Dr. Chesshir. Wow! She is so wonderful and has the best bedside manner. She was so kind, calm, patient, and understanding. Though this was a well visit, she took the time to address concerns I had regarding my health. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to have her as my provider and look forward to having my annual checks with her moving forward.
Dr. Vaughn is awesome! She goes above and beyond for her patients and doesn’t make you feel just like another patient. She actually cares about her patients and what she does. She made my pregnancy journey and birth experience a special moment we’ll never forget. We consider her as a part of our family!
Dr Stoehr is the best doctor I have ever seen. She takes her time to listen to you and makes sure she takes care of the problem/issues. She really cares about her patients. Doctors like her are very rare to find.
Dr. Chesshir has zero sensitivity, and she wants to be in control. I sent a message requesting a prescription for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound because that is what my providers have always requested, and she blatantly refused, stating that a 3D mammography is a good screening tool for 50% of the population. So what about the other 50%. I requested a call back and have yet to hear back from the office or Dr. Chesshir and no follow-up phone call has been received.She acted as if she was paying for the test.Awful.
This is by far the best clinic in the area. I’m so glad I found this clinic. Every one is always so nice. Dr. STOEHR is the best. I had a small procedure done and she handled me with care. My first time there. Well run office; staff knows what they’re supposed to do, and I got out of there quite quickly. The Doctor was great… knowledgeable about my medical conditions (this was a big surprise) and thorough. Overall all good experience.
I saw Dr. Riley this past week. I went in to be seen for 4 issues. She only seemed to address one of them. I had to bring up the other issues. She didn’t seem to want to help with my irregular periods or even offer solutions. I wasn’t really given much information. She was nice. She seemed like she was in a hurry. I didn’t even get a call for my test results just was posted to portal. The front desk was nice, office was nice, location great. I just feel like I paid a lot to see an urgent care versus a gyno.
I did have to wait quite a long time because Dr Riley was delayed in the OR. This was my first time here, but I got the impression this was an unusual situation and the MA did a great job of keeping me updated and offering other options if I couldn’t wait. Overall the clinic was clean, the staff and the doctor were friendly and seemed knowledgeable and professional.
This was a very pleasant experience. I was given comfort about what is going on with my health. Dr. Stoehr is very sweet and super knowledgable about all the things. She does explain things kind of fast, so take notes and ask questions. Anywho, overall, take care of yourself and allow Dr. Stoehr to help you do just that.
Dr Angela Stoehr is very thorough and takes the time to ensure all your questions and concerns are addressed. You never feel rushed with your appts and when she discusses her findings, she makes sure you understand everything and provides literature as needed. I cannot say enough great things about Dr Stoehr and will continue to recommend her to everyone I know.
It often feels a bit rushed when Im talking to my doctor, and in that rush, I sometimes forget to mention everything I wanted to. I am new to the area and always get nervous about seeing new practices but everyone is an amazing team here and Dr. Vaughn is so attentive, thorough, and has perfect bedside manner. Dr Patterson is amazing! She did my 2nd c section and it went amazing. The whole pregnancy went amazing actually. She is very thorough, thoughtful and caring. The practice is very nice, very friendly and everything is always clean/organized.
Dr. STOEHR is great. I had hysterectomy done (due to painful fibroids) by her and everything including surgery and post surgery recovery went very smooth. She has the best pain management protocol and that sure did help. She answers all your questions and concerns and provides enough details to make you comfortable. Highly recommend her.

I originally had been referred to a male urologist who barely looked at my charts, ran no tests, and diagnosed me with IC and basically told me to change my diet and that it was untreatable. I left his office in tears and went on the IC’s website and found their suggested providers and I’m so glad I did. I booked an appointment with Dr. STOEHR and not only did she have vast knowledge about what I was going through, but she had solutions! We started my treatment THAT DAY. Apparently she even wrote a book on it! Oh and if you’re child free and want to get your tubes tied she’s your girl! I LOVE THAT.

Best OB/GYN office you can find in DFW! Dr. Patterson is knowledgeable, and yet very caring about her patients. She is always about listening to your stories and takes great notes to make sure she didn’t miss anything.The staff answers your call and directs you to the right person.Sometimes wait time can be little long but the office has a big waiting area with new comfy chairs.
I usually dont leave reviews but i had a negative experience with dr stoehrs medical assistant. i needed to get a dr’s note bc i had missed an exam due to a very painful episode and didnt know how to explain that awkward condition to my professor, and i got transferred to a call with dr stoehr’s medical assistant who was very rude and showed no empathy. she informed me that i was not eligible for a note bc i hadnt been to the office in 2 years which i completely understood and i promptly made another appointment, however her tone was extremely condescending for no reason as i was polite the whole call and was never rude to her just for her to say something along the lines of “no doctor would do that, we cant just hand out a note just because you were in pain” when it was not just pain. what i experienced was absolutely debilitating and i was not able to move at all that day. i was quite humiliated by her behavior towards me and while i understand that the kind of debilitating pain i have is rare and not many women can even fathom, i still expected at least some level of kindness and empathy from a medical assistant who works in a field that is supposed to help me.dr stoehr on the other hand is amazing and i thank her for her knowledge and empathy she gave me at my last appointment when i was completely lost in what kind of condition i had.
Dr. Stoehr is amazing! I drive 45 minutes to see her because I don’t trust that anyone else will be able to provide me with the level of care that she and her team do. She makes you feel comfortable when talking about concerns and remembers the details of past visits as to always provide the best care/course of action. She’s worth the drive!

My journey as a patient here started in 2020 during my pregnancy with Dr. Patterson as my OB. While the beginning was positive, it took a negative turn when I went into preterm labor. Instead of receiving care and concern, I felt like an inconvenience to Dr. Patterson, who rushed the process and yelled at me during my labor. While she did apologize the next day, it was a moment I will never forget.Transitioning back to gynecological care after childbirth, I initially planned a laparoscopy for endometriosis with Dr. Stoehr. Despite meeting my deductible for the year, scheduling proved problematic. The lack of communication within the office resulted in delaying the surgery date until 2022 when my deductible had to be re-met. Convenient. I eventually had a second visit with Dr. Stoehr and this time I was talked out of surgery and encouraged to take Myfembree, a short-term solution that left me frustrated with my ongoing symptoms.And yet, I decided to give them another opportunity. During my annual visit with Lorie, I finally felt genuinely seen, heard, and understood. Lories exceptional approach left me with nothing but praise for her. I highly recommend her — she didnt rush the appointment, avoided pushing unnecessary medications, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything.So imagine my frustration and disappointment when I scheduled my November 9th appointment at 9:15 am, took the morning off work, arranged childcare, arrived on the day, filled out check-in forms, only to be told I couldnt see her due to her not accepting my insurance (not your fault, Lorie, youre still great!).Could they not have communicated this before the appointment, during the two-week period between booking and the appointment, or even on the morning itself? Any other time would have been preferable!Declining to reschedule, I informed the front desk that Id find another practice. It seems NWH was likely relieved, given my removal from the patient portal, leaving me unable to access my records for my new doctor.I really wanted to love this practice, especially with my positive experience in the beginning. Ultimately I just hope that things improve with future patients and no one has an experience like I did.
Dr. Stoehr came highly recommended to me by a family member so I decided to schedule based on that alone. From the time I walked in the door until the point of me walking out, everything about my experience was great. I loved that the doctor came in and spoke with me prior to my exam. This made me much more comfortable! I loved that she listens and I cannot stress this enough because so many doctors dont do that. Based on what I believe constitutes a great doctor and a great experience, Dr. Stoehr and her staff check all the boxes. I highly recommend.
Dr Patterson is the best womens doctor Ive ever had. She is so very kind and considerate not to leave out extremely knowledgeable and thorough. We moved to Colorado but I chose not to change doctors but instead continue my care with her. Her staff is kind and considerate as well. She is patient no matter the age of her patients and answered all my questions even though my child bearing years have long passed I feel she very much cares about my health. She is beautiful both inside and out !!
Very good experience getting my IUD replaced. I was super nervous and anxious and it was my first time meeting Dr Ellis but it went very well. Her and her assistant were phenomenal at walking me through the whole procedure. It was over before I knew it.I have only been with Nurture for a short time but each experience has been very comfortable.

Dr Cheung did not listen to any of my concerns, she was very cold and my apt felt very rushed. She listed that we discussed things in my health summary that were never mentioned.I have a thyroid issue and have always gotten tested and my meds from my obgyn however she just referred me to a whole other doctor.Felt like I was just a number and my concerns and health were of no importance to her at all!
Did a blood test on me that is not recommended by the CDC and did not advocate for my right after I was honest about a trauma to the nurse on the phone. I have filed a complaint with Texas medical. The nurse didn’t even know what the blood work specifically tested for. I find this office to be ignorant and do not advocate for their female patients. The front office also has a high turn over rate. Please if you value your mental health and basic rights as a woman DO NOT go to the office!!

Her suggestions were helpful throughout pregnancy. She interacts well and answers all queries. Front desk is also very organized. We never faced any problem. Choosing Dr. Carrie is like first best decision of my pregnancy.

Dr.Ellis was my OBGYN throughout my pregnancy right from my first visit at 8 weeks through my delivery. She is a no nonsense doctor and provides the best possible advice and care. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice and throughout the pregnancy she pushed me to exercise & maintain active lifestyle so that I could have a vaginal delivery which I was able to achieve. I delivered my beautiful baby girl on Feb 23,2023 and got lucky that she was there on that shift and able to perform my delivery. I strongly recommend.

I was greeted with very friendly staff during the whole appt. Everyone is very professional. Check in was timely - no waiting. Saw the Dr within 10 minutes of arriving- very unusual for a doctors office. I would highly recommend this practice to others for all your female needs.

Doesn’t feel like your typical doctor office. The rooms have furniture that you would have in your own home, very inviting and relaxing.
Dr. Ellis made me feel very comfortable during my physical examination. She is very patient in answering all my queries. Her responses were swift for all the messages sent. She is always compassionate with calm demeanor. Nurse and Sonographer were really great and are very helpful. Overall it was a great experience to be patient of Dr. Ellis.

Dr. Stroehr is the only physician to acknowledge that my autoimmune disease could be the contributing factor of my problem, and for that I’m grateful. Because I always thought it was. Other physicians told me it was not a factor. Also, she makes you feel like you are someone she’s known a long time. I felt really comfortable even though it was my first appointment with her. I hope to be a lifelong patient.
Dr Petterson is the best Gynecologist. I would definitely recommend her to everyone without any hesitation because she did my successful VBAC. Luckily she also accepted me as her patient. After my first visit yesterday, Im so relieved that Im in good hands. I’ve been seeing Dr. Ellis for years (followed her from the Irving office) and always have a great experience! She is extremely personable, very knowledgeable, and me feel at ease from Day 1. She always makes sure to address all my concerns and make sure I have all information to make educated decisions.She is switching her primary focus to her OB and more specific GYN issue clients, so I won’t see her regularly anymore, which is unfortunate for me, but I would definitely recommend her to those that fall in her scope.
Good:- My Gynecologist was knowledgeable and guided me through my pregnancy. Babys out and healthy- Moxibustion suggested by my doctor helped with breach babyBad:- Impossible to reach office over phone. Portal replies are slow- My gestational diabetes and anemia reults were not reviewed for a month or I was not notified causing me anxiety- Wait times are terrible. Imagine most painful parts of my pregnancy are the wait times here- They made us pre pay labor/delivery charges four months before (disgusting) and didnt let us know when we had a credit on account(after insurance) nor credited us until we asked for it (disgusting ^ 2)

The office is one of the nicest ones Ive been to. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I didnt have to wait a long time like at other doctors offices. Dr. Ellis is very nice and professional, also very easy to talk to. She listens to me and takes actions accordingly. I especially like that theres a little lab on site, very convenient.

Wait times were minimal despite how many patients they had coming through. The women at the front desk were all kind. Additionally, the nurses/techs and Dr. Vaughan were patient, thorough, and personable with our visit. We did not feel rushed at all. My husband & I kept saying how it was meant to be that the other obgyn I was considering fell through, because our experience with Dr. Vaughan and everyone else at Nurture Womens Health is exactly the kind of experience you would want (& more) for your pregnancy journey.
Dr Stoehr is amazing. She always makes me feel comfortable, and I trust her diagnosis and treatment 100%. Highly intelligent with a good bedside manner. I never have to wait and am usually in and out of the office within 30 minutes total (check in, seeing doc, exit, etc). Highly recommend.
It’s been about a year since I’ve seen Dr. Stoehr because I moved. She left such a mark on me as a healthcare provider that it would be a disservice not to leave her a five star review. I have always been extremely nervous during gynecologist visits but she made me feel perfectly at ease. Honestly considering driving the hour for my wellness exams because she’s so great. If you are debating going here, do it!! These are the most compassionate doctors I’ve had the pleasure of going to and the nurse who does the blood work always does a quick and painless stick. Love these women!!
The office was great till my last 2 months of pregnancy!!! My doctor went out on maternity leave, so I got dr Patterson!! I was dealing with high blood pressure was not feeling well at all! I would expressed my concerns, and she could care less didn’t want to get a game plan in place and was all over! The day of my induction that was set by Ellis, I went in, I delivered loved the OB that delivered me!! She was great (stoehr) she made my experience the best!! Came to the day I was leave the hospital with my son and Patterson walked into my hospital room as rude as could be saying no benefits for having a circumcision done and I said we want it performed she kept insisting there was no benefits… when I got upset and told her just to do and I wanted it done she walked out not even 5 minutes later, She walks back in and says she will not do it. She is not comfortable.(even though I don’t think that was the reason at all.) I don’t recommend that lady for the life of me.I pray that the front desk lady loses her attitude!I will never step foot into this office!!! They are a POS office thanks to that one doctor and front desk lady!!
From the check in process to getting my labs drawn, I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and courteousness of the staff. Dr. Patterson is not only an outstanding clinician, but also she made me feel at ease throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend Dr. Patterson and her team!
Dr. Patterson is great. She truly takes the time to listen and has empathy towards her patients and their concerns. She is collaborative and reassuring and is willing to do whatever it takes to make a patient feel comfortable. Doctor visits usually give me high anxiety. This doctor’s office was so friendly while still maintaining professionalism. Every single encounter with employees was pleasant. Even getting my blood drawn (which I hate) was the best experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Stoher is extremely knowledgeable and made me feel so at ease. I honestly wish I remembered everyone’s name so I could give each of them a shout out. I have never left a doctor’s office smiling/feeling good before. The person who greeted me upon arrival was not impressive. The person who checked me in was very professional and nice. The nurse was wonderful. You can tell she loves her job very much. Shes definitely in the right profession. I was hesitant about seeing a new doctor(Patterson is my normal physician but not seeing regular patients at this time). I could not have chosen a better alternative. Dr. Holly was excellent. Her bedside manners, knowledge and patience was spot on and very much appreciated. Never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. As an older individual all of that matters. Thanks for making it a great experience.
Dr. Patterson has been my ob for 5 years now and I’ve had two children under her care. She’s, professional, knowledgeable, listens and cares about her patients. She gives her patients time to ask questions during appointment and educates them on anything they would like more information about.The office staff are generally friendly at the front. The nurse staff are friendly, efficient and good at building a relationship with the patients.Highly recommend Dr. Patterson and Nurture Women’s Health.
I am completely satisfied with the results of my visit with Dr Stoehr and have recommended her to friends who might need her expertise. She took time to explain until i understood exactly what was going on with me and how are the solutions.
First, the front desk staff are great. Always friendly. I was recommended this clinic, specifically Dr. Ellis. She was not available so I saw Dr. Eliason. I wish I would have listened to my gut before 25 weeks, but she was short, disconnected, everything felt rushed, it felt like she was in such a hurry and just wanted us out of the office. I felt she didn’t know anything about me, didn’t remember me; and honestly didn’t care about me/my pregnancy/my birth. I stayed because it’s a highly recommended VBAC clinic but I didn’t feel comfortable knowing she could be the one to deliver my baby. I would feel rushed and like an imposition & felt because I was rushed she’d jump to c section. DoNot recommended. At all.
Dr Ellis is by far the BEST doctor in the DFW area I will never go anywhere else. I knew from my first encounter with her that she was special. I switched to this office mid pregnancy and it was an amazing experience. She always gave her advice but was never pushy which allowed me to fully trust in her expertise. She gave me my dream birth of having a vaginal delivery after two cesareans. I couldnt recommend Ellis enough!

I have always had a great experience at Nurture Women’s, and especially with Dr. Ellis. She is probably the best doctor I have ever had. Unfortunately after my experience today, I will not be returning to this practice and will be finding another.Scheduling is so extremely booked out that it takes weeks to get an appointment. Even for things that would be deemed as time sensitive. I scheduled an appointment that was over a month out. I finally showed up and was refused my visit because I had my daughter with me. I told the receptionist that I have no childcare and that I’d been waiting over a month for this appointment. It was a very important appointment. Still, I was turned away. I left the office crying, expecting to have finally gotten some help today but got the opposite. I am now left having to figure out what to do in order to hold myself over until I can find a practice that will have some compassion.I am absolutely heartbroken, as I love Dr. Ellis and I’m sure I won’t find another doctor like her. But if patients are going to be treated this way in a time of need, then this is no longer the practice for me.
Dr. Stoehr was exceptionally amazing! She took time to get to know me as the first patient she asked me questions and discussed things that I never knew would fix my health. She’s so patient and wants to make sure you understand everything, she also provided steps I’ll need to take to start a family. I also want to say the ladies in the front desk were welcoming and prompt. I’ll definitely be coming here moving forward.
Dr. Stoehr is amazing. There aren’t enough words to describe what a beautiful human she is. I had a healthy May 2021 baby after a loss that broke me. She helped me through it all and was there to qualm my fears. Absolutely love her. I now am seeing Dr. Patterson and she is also amazing. So thorough! I am so excited to be on this crazy pregnancy journey with her.Also, clinic staff is AMAZING. Love them all. Always so kind. I have found the best of the best! Not only was the office beautiful and clean but my experience with Dr. Stoehr was nothing short of perfect! She is friendly and fun and quickly builds such rapport that on my first visit I shared more with her than I ever have with any doctor because she listened and asked questions. She shared her extensive knowledge about every topic I had questions about and put it all in terms I could understand. She had a solution for every problem and advised of alternatives. I cant say enough good things about her and my experience. I LOVE her! I am getting to the bottom of issues that have been hard for me and getting tests for things no other doctor has offered to research for me. She even went as far as recommending apps to help me and good therapists she recommends. She is amazing!!! Best doctor I have ever hadIll be recommending her to anyone who will listen to me. My doctor ‘fired’ me 2 months before I’m due..no specific reason other than we haven’t ’built a relationship’..in other words, we didn’t shell out enough money in time. And she kept hinting at a c-section/complete removal of ovaries when I specifically came to her ALL THE WAY FROM MANSFIELD, & to do a Vbac/do this as holistically as possible. Also asked if this baby was an ‘accident’… Don’t come here unless you want to be lied to, stressed out, & humiliated.
Dr Stoehr was extremely friendly, polite and professional. This was my first visit. She answered every question w/ pose and made me feel at ease. The front desk staff was also kind, & professional. The check in & out process was smooth and quick. I didnt have to wait long before being called to the back nor was my wait long for Dr. Stoehr. I will def be returning & would recommend her to others.
Dr. Patterson is amazing!! This is my first pregnancy and I feel like I couldnt find a better doctor than her to take care of me during this time. She truly cares, is kind and very knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen and answer all our questions and concerns, I really enjoy having her as my OB-GYN.

This is how a well women’s check should be. My check up was a boutique experience. I can’t tell you how glad I am that I found this clinic!
Im satisfied with my physicians knowledge, care, and manner but I have been frustrated with general communications. I was given an 8am Monday appt and, while outside in car, I was contacted 2 min prior saying the Dr cancelled. I was NOT happy esp since I felt terrible from a shingles booster the day before. It also meant I was stuck refilling an old RX ($50) since my appointment was to update my script. Staff said thats the earliest they couldve contacted me as they dont arrive earlier. In Nov 2022 I was upset about a very large $ copay as I was not notified until the day before a procedure. Their preferred anesthesiologist is not in network and that company is understaffed. Im lucky that my schedule is flexible/no little kids as many others would have been even more inconvenienced or lost income/time off from work (reschedule). As for the Nov copay, I just received a bill for $6000 (IV sedation). Any In Network office using OON services should inform patients immediately before even booking the procedure. Clear communication with patients about their care & costs should be #1 priority.
This is my second review, I had connected with the office manager and we went thru the billing and the overall service got better. I am pretty satisfied although I am holding back a little bit in case things go bad again. I do appreciate that they took my feedback seriously and acted upon it so I am increasing the rate to 4 starts.I like Dr Patterson she was very nice in my first visit, she listened to my concerns took the time to answer my questions and I was really pleased with the service. But now I always feel rushed, my visits are very short. In my last visit I actually forgot to ask her a medical question due the doctor avoiding my questions regarding a recommendation she made and cutting the conversation short. so short after I left the examination room I asked the front desk that I need to ask a question they told me to ask in the patient portal which I did. A week later still no answer, I call her but I only get the voicemail.It is really frustrating when the doctor insists on facts such as it is good to do a test to uncover issues in its early stages and thn later focus on the fact that the test was optional. As much as I hate it but I am considering to find another doctor.
I had a great experience but I did feel rushed through the process: from check in, to the doctors assistant speeding through the health review. Dr Stroehr was nice and explain things well but again I felt like I was being rushed out for the next appointment.
The team was professional, nice and very helpful. The doctor made me feel very comfortable. She ask me alot of question related to female health, she listen to my needs, was informative with good advise and direction. Inreturn I felt at ease during my appointment.These visits can bring on some level of anxiety/nervousness but I would recommend this office for women health needs.
I’m very fortunate to have Dr. Malathi Ellis as my OBGYN. As a woman, it can sometimes be difficult to discuss issues with some doctors without them writing it off as anxiety. With Dr. Ellis she listens and treats every concern as a valid issue. She is compassionate, attentive, pro-active and wise with her medical and personal advice. I was so very impressed with her that I also switched my teenage daughter’s care over to her. I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Ellis is gentle and sweet. She provides insights when asked questions and listens. She is Very professional, responsive and her team is great. Only downside I have is with the facility, the wait times are longer than what I have had in my previous OBGYN clinic. However I love my Dr. Ellis

The staff was extremely kind. I really appreciate the smiling faces, especially being a new patient. Dr. Elliason was very nice and was easy to talk to. I would have liked for her to introduce herself when she walked in. I hadn’t seen a picture of her so I wasn’t sure at first. It was just implied it was her. I do look forward to a great relationship with Nurture Womens Health!
Dr. Stoehr is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had. She is super caring and quick, she handled my weeks long treatment with professionalism and care. She will never invalidate how you feel, and always knows the right thing to say to keep you positive.

I finally went to Dr. Ellis after putting off an ongoing 8 month issue. She gave her prognosis, later confirmed true by an ultrasound, & surgically operated shortly after. She addressed all my concerns, resolved an issue that was negatively impacting my livelihood, & most of all gave me comfort. I generally don’t do OBGYN doctors as I’m highly uncomfortable. However, Dr. Ellis made me feel safe, had the best bedside manners & such a contagious laughter. I look forward to her care during my future pregnancy.
The reason why i only gave 4stars is the long waiting. But as for Dr. Carrie Patterson, i give 5stars! She’s the best! So grateful for her..been her patient for almost 10yrs! I have had different doctors (OB GYN) but Dr. Patterson is the best! Aside from her excellent knowledge in her practice, she truly cares for her patients.
Dr. Ellis is not only personable, but knowledgeable across many facets. She takes her time with you and genuinely cares and listens with understanding to your situation. I truly appreciate her. She was running behind at my last appointment and immediately apologized for it and provided a brief explanation about why and that made waiting easily worth it because you can understand what happened. Dr Stoehr is AMAZING!!! She has the best way to explain yes explain what may be going on, what she plans to do to help Dx or treat. Dr Stoehr listens she really listens. I only wish I had found her earlier. I will be a patient and so will my daughter for as long as she is practicing. I would recommend her 200% to family and friends. I have seen Dr. Patterson since 2013 and she has helped me with my struggles in staying pregnant. She has wonderfully delivered both my daughters and will deliver my son in about a month. I absolutely adore her, and will keep seeing her as long as she will have me!She’s very thorough, and when I’m in my hyper hormonal state, she calms me down and reminds me I’m not insane! (Haha!)** 2 years later after posting this original review, I can 100% say I stand by everything I said. She successfully delivered my son after a hard day of labor, when it came time to push, he was out in 3 pushes. I am the woman who coughed 2/3 of her kids into this world. Ask her for the story, she knows she has my full permission to tell it! 😂When I go see her, I feel like I’m seeing a friend, and I love that about her. I feel very blessed that we have crossed paths in life!!!.❤️❤️

PART 1: I am going to share my story. It has taken some time for me to be emotionally ready to sit down and revisit this experience. And this has been extremely painful, and as I relive this experience I am sitting in bed next to my dog sobbing because I have not wanted to go back there. But I know that there is power in our stories, and so I am ready to share mine. I have been a patient here since 2019 with my first pregnancy. Unfortunately my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks. My husband and I were devastated but Dr. Patterson was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and compassionate throughout the entire process. I ended up getting a D&C and she was there the entire time holding my hand while offering words of comfort and support to my husband. In 2020 I was pregnant again and we went back to Dr. Patterson who was so excited for us! We ended up choosing a home birth with midwives instead (which was a beautiful experience and I highly recommend!) because of the pandemic. I am happy to report that I delivered a beautiful and healthy baby boy! In 2022 I was pregnant again and I reached out to Dr. Patterson’s office to schedule my first pregnancy confirmation appointment. Unfortunately, it took 3 days for me to book an appointment with her because the scheduler was out of the office and/or not at her desk. After some persistence on my part (because when they say they will call you back, they never do), I was able to schedule an appointment for when I was 9 weeks. Unfortunately I started experiencing some spotting and a little bit of bleeding. I called Nurture to see if I could come in to see a doctor, but they couldn’t fit me in until my scheduled appointment at the end of the week (which initially should have been a red flag for me). The scheduler said that the doctor recommended I go to the emergency room, which I did. After 5 hours waiting in the ER the emergency room physician confirmed the devastating news that there was no heartbeat (miscarriage #2) and recommended that I should follow up with my OBGYN later in the week. My husband and I went to my scheduled pregnancy confirmation appointment at Nurture and to have to sit in the waiting room with visibly pregnant folxs and women smiling at their sonogram photos with their living babies is extremely painful and just adds to this gaping wound. The sonogram technician we found extremely rude— (she made a comment about my husband wearing a Disney mask and how that is “unexpected”… was it because he was a Black man and he was wearing a Mickey Mouse mask?) we had to ask her to turn off the giant TV screen because the last thing we wanted to see (for the second time) was a fetus with no heartbeat.. which is what happened with the first miscarriage—- same technician. When we finally saw Dr. Patterson she was exactly as we remembered her— so warm, kind, and supportive. She believed that this was an abnormal pregnancy and gave us the options with miscarriage— wait to see if your body passes it naturally, medication, or D&C. I decided to wait a week to see if my body would pass it naturally, and she supported my decision. Because she would be on leave soon, she assured me that when I come back next week to see one of her partner doctors they would follow our plan to prescribe me the medication. Fast forward a week— sitting in a waiting room with visibly pregnant women, the same insensitive sonogram technician, and this time I saw Dr. Eliason. Unlike Dr. Patterson, she wasn’t warm or offered any words of support acknowledgment of my (2nd loss) and the visit was incredibly quick. When she confirmed that nothing had changed in the repeat sonogram and there was still no living fetus she would not write me a prescription for medication so that I could move on from this terrible experience and begin the process of healing. She said I needed to wait, and do more blood work next week since my body didn’t technically meet some threshold. What followed was another week of delay— then she said I needed another sonogram.
Dr. Patterson is awesome! She is kind and informative and non-judgmental. I feel very comfortable speaking with her and she has a good balance of being quick/thorough while still putting me at ease as a first time mom.

Dr Patterson is the best there is! She is so passionate and knowledgeable about her work that she always leaves me with a ton of confidence. She also cares about me as a patient and I never feel rushed. However, the front desk staff is the complete opposite and they always find a way to make the experience a poor one. They are impatient, disorganized, and rude. I always feel like I’m an inconvenience as the patient and as if they would rather be doing anything other than answering basic questions or checking me in.
I have been seeing Dr. Ellis since I moved to Texas almost 15 years ago now. After seeing a couple doctors, I had finally found a gynecologist that was the right fit for me. Dr. Ellis is kind and gentle. She listened and made the visits super comfortable and even fun. She delivered my first daughter by cesarean, and was super supportive and encouraging about my wanting a VBAC with my second child, which was a success! I enjoy my annual visits with her each year. Sometimes we chat and catch up like old friends, but overall, I love how prompt and attentive and knowledgable she is in her field. Shes the best, and the people she employs around her follow her lead.

Dr. Eliason is caring, concerned, patient, and most importantly she treat you like a human in need of her help. She has gone that extra mile. I cant say enough about her and her team... She has the best nurse also. Never treats you like a stranger. The both of them are welcoming and makes for a great team.
I had to change doctor’s due to my current one dismissing my issues and also we’re moving to Frisco this summer. Right off the bat, the nurse made me feel so comfortable and validated. Dr. Eliason is so great. She came up with so many more solutions and ideas than my other Dr has in the past years! I highly recommend Nurture!

I found Dr. Ellis after changing from my obgyn who delivered my first child. The experience just from my office visits alone was top notch quality. She listened to me not only as a doctor but also as a woman who’s given birth.I delivered my son this past Monday and when I tell you Dr. Ellis is a fantastic doctor.... she truly is amazing. Her bedside manners and the way she coached me during the delivery was 5 star! My son weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces and I pushed him out in less than 30 minutes.If I were to have another child Dr. Ellis will deliver my child.
My PCP actually had a Provider she would like me to see and they scheduled my with someone else. I have PCOS that was diagnosed 15 years ago and I have left it untreated. The doctor didn’t check my hormone levels or prescribe the medication she said I should be taking, in stead she put me on a low dose Birth control and rushed me out of the office. Horrible experience. Now I have to pay another specialist to actually get help.The front desk staff was kind and very helpful.
I was referred by one of my close friends who is a patient with Dr Eliason and I was looking for an OBGYN office that felt welcoming and comfortable. I am so happy that my friend referred me to Dr Eliason! My hubby and I are trying to have our first baby and although we have only been trying since February, Dr Eliason was so helpful and sweet and gave me so much good information/advice about conceiving when other doctors would’ve told me to come back after a year if I have not conceived yet. It meant the world to me and I felt so comfortable talking with her! She is so AMAZING. Everyone I came across in the office from checking in, to getting blood work done were welcoming and made me feel valued. Especially Jennifer and the gentleman working the front desk(I didn’t get his name unfortunately) I have found my OBGYN office and I couldn’t be more excited to go through this journey knowing Dr Eliason and the staff at nurture women’s health will be there every step of the way!

I’ve been going to this office for about 2 1/2 years now. I love my doctor, Dr. Stoehr. I have had no issues with her or any other staff. Everyone is super friendly. The only thing I do have to “complain” about is the last few times I’ve gone in for blood work, I wait 30+ minutes. The most previous time I went, they couldn’t even find the phlebotomist and a lady waited 2 1/2 hours and ended up leaving. Other than that, I love this office! The girl at the front desk that checks patients in is really nice!
Dr. Ellis was amazing. I felt comfortable talking to her about my needs and I really felt like she was listening. Everything about her was sweet and was very informative as well. It was my first time in the office and I recommend her to anyone who’s looking for an OBGYN.
Dr. Vaughn and the nurses at Nurture are amazing! So kind and wonderful. The techs in the lab made me feel extremely comfortable! Love this place already!
Dr. Eliason and the staff at Nurture are wonderful. The front staff and the nurse were kind and welcoming. Dr. Eliason took time to talk to me and offered several non-medicine suggestions (at my request) in addition to letting me know I could call and come back if I did want to pursue prescription options. They did a great job of letting me know what what going on during the exam, as well.
Wonderful staff and clinic! I saw Dr. Eliason today and she was fantastic. She was kind, caring and provided me with plenty of education regarding my the options I have available for my reproductive health without judgment. Excellent experience all around.
Dr. Ellis is a great doctor with lots of valuable insight. She doesn’t pressure you and will always be open and honest. She ha a great bed side manner as well. Overall a great doctor whom I trust.
Just had my first appointment yesterday with Dr. Stoehr. Loved her and her assistant. Both of them made me feel very comfortable, and Dr. Stoehr knew so much about my complicated issues. I would highly recommend!

Every year that passes Im more thankful for having dr. Stoher as my OBGYN doctor. She is very friendly and nice, different with lots of doctors you see these days! Shes perfect and make you feel satisfied for the visit you had. You should see her to understand what I say. I trust her words and whatever she says is true. She is one of a kind. Thank God that I found her😊 I wish her the most healthy and happy life.
It was an amazing experience. Dr Carrey Patterson gave enough time to examine the patient (my wife) and provided all the required information for a first time mom.
I used to go to Dr. Ellis when she was in Irving. I absolutely loved my doctor. She was great. I recently made an appointment and they have been nothing but a big headache. I was very sick due to the morning sickness I was experiencing. I called and messaged on their portal but I received no help. They nurse kept saying this so called Special pharmacy will call and never did. She eventually gave me the phone number of the pharmacy but it was too late. I had already been seen by a new OBGYN.WORST service ever. Stay away from them. Also, I had to go to the ER because I was that sick and had to get IV due to dehydration. I even told the nurse that by phone leaving a message and on their portal. Honestly, avoid this place. They dont care about you; they only care about seeing how many patients. Piece of advice to the practice, get a better nurse than Amanda.
I went to the same OBGYN for 9 years, and finally made the switch due to insurance. I was very nervous. But, I’ve had the best experience with this office! The staff always works EXTREMELY hard. They’re so caring & understanding with everything you can think of. Every time I send a message through the portal, the nurse gets back to me in a timely manner. Angela is an AMAZING OBGYN. She takes care of her patients and really works towards forming a bond with you. :)
I love Dr. Eliason! She helped me conceive and delivered my first baby after having multiple miscarriages. The doctors were so aware of my pregnancy and had me in every week because my baby was a low birth weight. As much as I love the doctors and sonogram, I will not be returning to this office because of the office staff. They have told me to pay bills, of which I paid, and shown receipts of, yet they still charge me and are INCONSIDERATE of the health of your baby. They do not care whatsoever. They just want money. Wish Dr. Eliason would move offices, but now I have to find a new one.
I had a great experience with Dr. Ellis and her nurse. Everyone was so nice and welcoming! The staff at the front desk made the check-in process easy and everyone I encountered was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Nurture Women’s Health.
I’m so disappointed with my brief experience and frankly feel lied too. I called on a Monday and was told Eliason was taking patients for my October due date and to have my current OB send my information over for review. I called three times through the week to make sure they received my information and it was being reviewed. They confirmed receipt and said she reviewed some of it but could open some of the files and they would call me back. On Friday they said she was still reviewing and they would get back to me ASAP. I mentioned I was hoping to get an appointment set for late June and the woman on the phone said she pulled up the calendar and there was no issue getting an appointment late June. Great. Come this Monday I get a call late in the day that Eliason won’t take me because I have a cerclage. When I asked why she said she would call me back…. 15 minutes later I get a call back that she is actually full and not taking anymore patients! What?? Why did I just spent the last week getting my OB to sent records and check in 3 times throughout the week to make sure my information was received after I was told all week she was available? So incredibly rude and disrespectful of my time and effort. I work full time, with two small children and currently moving, I don’t have time to waste. Incredibly disappointed.
Dr. Stoehr really took the time to get to know me and my concerns. She was so kind and really listened. She made me feel at ease and I felt like she really wanted to know who I was as a person and not just a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Stoehr.
Dr. Eliason was very understanding and very helpful. I had several questions about menopause and she was thorough in her knowledge on how to answer me. Her nurse was very personable and I felt very comfortable throughout the entire Wellness check up.

Dr. Stoehr is absolutely the best doctor that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. After a year long journey including 6 different doctors at 6 different womens health offices, she is the only one that truly listened to me, and found a solution to my problem. I recommend her to any woman in need of a lady Dr! All the staff in her office have been amazingly helpful and friendly as well!
I finally found my new OBGYN after my long-term one retired and I bounced around for several years. During my initial appointment with Dr. Stoehr she asked questions to get to know me not only as a patient but as a person. I must admit that at first I perceived it as a bit contrived. But as the appointment progressed my perception shifted and I could tell that Dr. Stoehr is and was genuinely interested in listening, getting to know me and being of service. Wow! What a breath of fresh air! I have since returned for follow up care and Dr. Stoehr has been consistent in her listening, explaining and pleasant demeanor. I am also grateful that she does not provide deliveries which is a blessing to those of us who are no longer in that stage of life. I had a difficult time finding a provider in the area who would take me if I wasnt pregnant. Its nice to feel like we older ladies have a dedicated doctor that does not have to juggle births with non-emergency care patients. I appreciate the little things :) If youre past your child bearing stage of life and looking for a new OBGYN then I highly recommend Dr. Stoehr!
Dr. Eliason is the best female doctor that I have ever had. She makes me feel like Im going to see an old friend on every office visit. If I could give her more than five starts I would. Excellent...she decides to have a ten star rating .

PART II: So let’s keep count—I had 4 sonograms— all showing and telling me the same thing, 4 visits to do blood work, not to mention the $800 emergency room bill that I received 2 weeks ago when they couldn’t get me in for a visit. Each time Dr. Eliason called or wrote to me (via patient portal) to tell me that she couldn’t write the prescription I PLEADED with her because I was tired of being in this in-between space— being technically pregnant but knowing that my baby was gone and having to carry that for an additional 2.5 weeks. I told her that I was a mother, a wife, and as an educated and intelligent person I knew the risks of potential delay (especially knowing the statistics about Black maternal death rate in the US). And I knew why she would not write me a prescription — she wanted coverage from liability and potential prosecution as a result of Texas’ abortion ban. Dr. Eliason allowed me to linger and experience physical and an incredible amount of emotional pain being in limbo out of fear of prosecution from Texas law. Again, there was never a heartbeat— it was clear from the ($800) ER visit and then the two OBGYN visits (total $300– and yes I have health insurance) that this was a miscarriage and there was no hope. I spent almost 2 weeks begging her for the medication so that I could close a door on this unfortunate chapter, but to no avail. Because of this experience, and being treated with very little compassion from Dr. Eliason and Nurture Women’s Health, I will not return there as a patient. I know that in the scheme of things, this will not matter to them. They have already shown me that my life and my well-being does not matter to them. As a Black mother, wife, and human being I have value and I want to be listened to by my medical provider. just want to experience compassion and a health care physician and system that cares about me and provides me the medical care that I need, regardless of a law passed by men who do not understand women’s bodies or women’s health care. As a whole I was not nurtured and it was clear they did not care about my health.
After researching OBGYN’s in the area after finding out I was pregnant I immediately selected Dr. Patterson. My experience has been the best since before my first visit. Dr. Patterson personally called me to speak with me and that was above and beyond my last OBGYN experience. Every visit so far has been great and Dr. Patterson takes the time to make sure all your questions are answered. Wait time is like no other office I’ve seen before..less than 15 minutes.
Please be careful with them. They will send you false charges. So far I payed up front what they asked for, and thought I was all set. But they mailed me bills for extra charges that make absolutely no sense. My visits were normal, I got seen by the doc for only few minutes. They had put on the extra charges (more than $400) something like “high risk, etc” which is not true at all. The doctor seemed nice and professional but I don’t know how the billing process takes place. It’s sad and dishonest that they put pregnant women to go through false charges...Also, the front office is so rude and disrespectful. Additionally, in one of my visits I was present when a patient said to the front office: “I completed my review (and showed her phone) can I have the reward now”? This explained all the good reviews here. Please do your research and ask questions before going through the headaches between false charges, lack of responsibility and appointments with long waiting time.
I had the best experience. Dr Stoehr communicated very well, listened to my issues and provided resolution. All I can say is good doctors have been hard to find these days and she is just what Ive been searching for. Thank you so much!
I am so grateful for Dr. Stoehr and her team. They were responsive to my messages through the portal in a timely manner.They were able to fit me into their schedule last minute after hearing about my situation. They were all attentive, so incredibly polite, and made me feel comfortable during the visit.

Doctor Ellis is very soft spoken nature and answer all our issues with patience. Front office staffs and nurse also very good. We can get immediate response for our queries by sending message in the patients portal also. Thank you doctor and other staffs.
Dr. Ellis has been amazing with my 2nd pregnancy! She has great bed side manner and has done a great job preparing me for every part of the pregnancy process. I highly recommend her!
When I found Nuture I was in really bad shape with severe pelvic pain and bladder pain. I could barely walk. With in six months my whole life has be renewed through the amazing care and treatments I received from the doctor and the entire staff🥰 I would recommend all my friends and family and anyone reading this review. I’ll never go anywhere else for all my women’s healthcare needs
I’m devastated. I tried to go to my first appointment today that I had booked for a long time, but I was turned away at the front desk. I confirmed my appointment and filled out all the forms in the portal, but apparently I was supposed to have received other forms in an email in December. I have no record of this. I have a very hard time taking off from work, have been in a ton of pain and needed this appointment. I showed her my inbox, asked if I could fill them out while I waited, told them I was in a ton of pain, and there was no empathy and they said no and I’d have to reschedule. I told them i have a hard time taking off work and that I was about to cry and they said there was nothing they could do. I couldn’t go unless all my paperwork was filled out in advance. This is an extremely disheartening situation, and I feel totally hopeless. I don’t know why I couldn’t fill them out there. Their website says so much about a welcoming environment, but I didn’t experience this and was sent away when I had an appointment. There was nothing in the portal saying I was missing any info and it said I was all set and confirmed. I do not understand how there are so many positive reviews, and I am finding another doctors office.

I love Dr. Stoehr. I’m a nervous patient and she is the most kind, gentle provider and makes the experience better than I could hope for. I highly recommend her.
While I completely have nothing but good things to say about the doctor, I was left completely unsatisfied with the 1 hour wait time. There’s no excuse for an appointment if you you keep patients waiting for an hour for the visit to begin. If you need more time with your patients then schedule more time in between visits. They overbook their schedule and as a result the patient pays the consequence.
Dr. Holly Eliason is great, she is very knowledgable and genuine. I had initially come to this center to just have an ultrasound but due to what was found, I needed to have medical attention immediately. With that being said, Dr. Eliason was available and saw me right away. I had an ectopic pregnancy in a very unique spot which required emergency surgery that she ended up performing. I did have complications after the surgery but she was able to ensure I was taken care of right away and I have since healed well. She has since done personal research on my medical situation to provide me more information and guidance on something that does not currently have a lot of research. I appreciate her consistent approach, value her feedback and I am grateful for her!!
Dr. Stoehr is amazing!!! She has a great personality and makes you very comfortable. She is competent and explains things in layman’s terms and doesn’t rush you out. Come see her if you need an excellent OBGYN and or have pelvic pain.

Dr. Angela Stoehr was extremely helpful and caring during my first visit with her today. She gave me valuable insight into the changes a woman’s body goes through as she ages. She warned me about problems to watch out for. She created a bond with me by openly discussing my physical, mental, and emotional health. I’m happy to say that I feel I could talk to her about anything. Her staff also used humor and their own experiences to put me at ease. Boardwalk OB/GYN is a relaxing, clean, and professionally run office. This is the place I would send my best friend if they needed a gynecologist.

So I didnt actually get to have an appointment and meet with Dr. Ellis for reasons completely out of their control. However, if the doctors here are anything as caring and professional as their staff, specifically Carol and Jennifer then you would be lucky to have them.My last doctors office was terrible, awful. I have a large cyst that I need surgery on and I was referred to Dr. Ellis from my previous office because of insurance purposes. It turns out that she gave me the wrong information and unfortunately the Dr. Ellis is also not covered for my insurance. However, when I initially called in tears to try and get an appointment as soon as I could, Carol was AMAZING and listened and did everything she possibly could.Im genuinely sad that this will not be where I go in the future, they have the best staff Ive seen so far.
Nurture Women’s Health, Dr. Eliason and her team are absolutely amazing!!! Dr.Eliason is super knowledgeable and is very comprehensive in her care especially with high risk pregnancies. She is also very caring and leaves you totally at ease after every visit. The practice itself is run seamlessly from appt setting, follow up, labs run on site and great communication! I will be moving to South Arlington soon but will definitely be ok making the drive to Frisco to see this wonderful group of Ladies for any of my GYN needs!
