I went to the office in Glendale Heights, the staff was very nice! Especially the lady at the front desk ! I didn’t catch her name, we talked about Bbqs and the smell of burning leaves. It was coming up on Labor Day weekend. If she reads these comments, she remembers me, and I remember her! Keep on smiling beautiful lady! God bless you, you’re very lucky to have this woman as a staff member! ❤️
The whole staff was just lovely! My little guy has special needs and the nurse and PA who helped us were so kind and patient with him. We did have to wait about an hour to get in after our “estimated” time booked online, but I feel that’s to be expected with urgent care. We were able to wait in the car so it was a bit easier to help my son through the wait time. I would definitely choose to return here for other urgent care needs.
Three times they have turned us away.1. We arrived a little past 6 pm. They close at 8 pm. They said they stopped taking walk ins because they were busy but the place was empty.2. They’re unclear about their walk in process and informed us it would be hours and they needed additional information, failed to inform us of that the day prior. Time of arrival est 1:30 pm.3. Arrived at 7:10 pm, after calling the general helpline about getting a Covid test, but was told they stopped taking walk ins when I arrived a few minutes after the call “because we are busy” again, while they’re still open for business and clearly they post over and over “open for walk ins”.My job is pretty flexible and thank goodness for that. I don’t have to be constantly taking time off to visit this location. I can’t image what others who don’t have flexibility go through. This is horrible customer service the time spent trying to see someone here makes me question their entire business operation. Finally, the receptionist is so rude even after I contained my annoyance and politely asked about their hours of operations so if need be I’d be prepared and not walk-in after they stop taking clients.Bottom line, if you stop walk ins at a certain time, then advertise it so people stop wasting their time.
From the moment you arrive, everyone is friendly and welcoming! There was hardly any wait before being called into the back as well! The folks that I interacted with were very professional, knowledgeable, and made sure that any questions I had about the visit were answered quickly and correctly. I would like it if I could do all of my health care through this facility, and with these people. I highly recommend everything about this facility as they are #1 as far as I am concerned when it comes to health care!
This is my first time coming here. I set up an appointment for a DOT physical on a Saturday morning. Which is unusual for a medical place to be open for for this. It was very convenient for me and the process of signing up online and filling out some forms before I showed up that sped up the process. Once I got in and filled out a couple more forms I was brought inside a room at my appointment time. I was taken care of quickly by Salam, she was very professional and did her job correctly and efficiently. I appreciate how well it went and I will be back next time I need this service.
Booked a 12:40 appointment online.Got to the facility and the first thing they say is you have to pay your copay before you can be seen.So I pay the copay and wait, and wait and wait.If I hadnt had to pay my copay upfront I would have left and gone somewhere else, but I guess thats why they do it this wayI watch 5 patients leave and not one new patient is brought back.I cant review the medical staff because after waiting 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I still have yet to be seen by the medical staff. If you are not going to follow the schedule, dont have one available and just do first come first serve.
Really great experience. Had arrived with no appointment for my kid. They helped with issues in the registration page. We were seen promptly and xrays taken. Kid was calm and was talked to well. Thanks for great service.
Had to make a last minute appointment to clear my son so he can go back to school. From the moment we walked in the door it was such a pleasant and welcoming experience. I can’t remember the young lady name at the front desk, but she was so delightful. Everyone we came in contact with that day was very nice and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Definitely recommend!
This center is filthy. Covered in a layer of dust is their equipment with blood spatters out in the open. The table paper wasn’t changed from the last patient being seen. They do not abide by hippaa asking medical information in front of other patients waiting for treatment. Zero stars, I pray I don’t get sick from being in this dirty facility. This place needs to be cleaned or shut down.
The receptionist was so helpful and had such a wonderful attitude to ALL patients waiting, the Staff went Above and beyond for my care and we all around and AMAZING team!! Wish I could give them 10 STARS!
Both my nurse & physician were incredible!! I went to another location a few weeks prior & didnt have the best experience, so I changed locations when mg symptoms didnt go away & came to this one. I will for sure utilize this specific location in the future. I am not sure of what my nurse & physicians names were but they were amazing so please look up whoever they were under patient name Mia Gibbons so they can be commended for their performance. Starting with my nurse- she was soo friendly & her outgoingness made me feel super comfortable. My physician was just so reassuring because she was SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. She took the time to listen to everything I had to say, she ruled out every root cause & honestly you can just tell she really cares about patients and is passionate about what she does. Thank you!!!
Great place. Staff is kind, very well trained and overall great people. They also have an amazing air purification system.
There is nothing Immediate about this facility. Go somewhere else if urgent. On a Sat afternoon with no one in the waiting room, its an hours wait. We’ve done this before, shame on me for thinking it would improve!! When a loved one is sick its incredibly frustrating to wait when no one is here.
I had an excellent customer service experience at this location. The process from check-in to my physicals was seamless. I loved how everyone was friendly, cordial and professional at the sametime!!
Staff was very nice and organized. With 3 people in front of me I was in and out in less than an hour with my DOT physical
Absolutely infuriating experience. Went to get a physical for a job, went one evening was told I needed the job description (beyond me just telling them its a secretarial position). OK fine. I got a 9:11 am appointment the next day. Waited for 3 whole hours with absolutely no phone call to go in. Then the page that told me my place in line suddenly says You are no longer in the queue. I go in and they dont know what happened. They tell me Im next, I wait about 15 min. You can hear absolutely everything the staff is saying behind the front desk, I hear nurses talking about me, talking about how there were a lot of ambulances and sick people the past couple days, talking about how one of the doctors has never been sued. Bathroom is dirty and sad. Go anywhere else.
My experience with pic at this location was wonderful start to finish. Greeted by the nicest receptionist, Cassia. Received excellent care from the nurse Joaquim who did a great job with the blood draw and finally the provider Paula who was very thorough and professional. The clinic was also very clean and organized. Highly recommend this clinic!
Not only was this the QUICKEST immediate care I’ve been to. The staff was amazing and constantly making sure everyone waiting was good, hydrated and offered snacks as well. Everyone was SO friendly!
I came in the morning of 4th of July holiday,,,fast service, awesome staff of ladies,,, my physical went very well,,, I thank you all for your time GRATITUDE
The staff there are very nice. Cassia Boyd helped me out today. She went out of her way to help me.
This is the best experience that I’ve ever had at an urgent care. I was greeted with a smile from friendly staff as soon as I walked through the door, I was brought back immediately, and everyone who I interacted with was extremely friendly and gave me great care! I was especially confident in the care that Cierra Johnson gave me and I honestly wish she was my primary care provider. Thank you to the whole team!
Doctors are so Nice specially Dr preet and the receptionist was very helpful.I would definitely recommend this place
This place was amazing. They were friendly, thorough and got me in and out. The appointments were easy to schedule online and I did the registration before I arrived. What a time saver. Thank you to all the staff at PIC Glendale Heights, IL
If I could leave negative stars I would. After waiting for nearly 3 hours I was called back, the “nurse” didn’t bring in my chart told me should be right back in with it, left my door wide open started arguing with another patient and did not come back. I needed to pee very badly and peeked out and asked the other “nurse” if they could at least get me the cup so I could go pee since my original girl did not come right back as she had stated. I was told no I cannot pee. They stated they have several minutes of paperwork and other tests to do first, not at all what the first girl had said. All with the attitude of snotty teenagers who couldn’t give a rat’s behind about anyone else. I was there was a work injury and treated like the scum of the earth after getting beat up at work. I use “nurse” because both girls had zero clue what was going on, not a single ounce of manners between them, they both spoke in that annoying fake valley girl voice, raised their voices and snapped at everyone, spoke in a hostile way and when I say they had zero clue, they didn’t even know the x-ray tech wasn’t there and made a child who needed x-rays for injuries wait 2.5 hours KNOWING they were there for x-rays and then realized there was no tech and told tha mom to wait another 2 hours! They proceeded to conduct themselves in a very ghetto (I honestly cannot think of a better word) manner when I told the front desk lady I’m leaving since they told me I can’t pee. After an awful day at work, getting severely injured theres nothing better than being told you can’t have basic human rights and being talked down to like I’m some lowlife piece of garbage.
First, it was easy to get an appointment that was rather soon after I called The wait time was almost immediate, which is a blessing when in pain. The location was very clean and sterile looking. This is something I look for, even in extreme pain. The physician was so kind, gentle, friendly and knowledgeable. I had an envelope scratch my eye, which is so painful. She quickly numbed it to take me out of pain. She even showed my husband the abrasion when she added the drops to glow the eye.She explained every step that she was taking to examine my eye. She also explained my treatment at home - what I should do and avoid. Also, explained symptoms that I should be aware of if I needed to return immediately. I would go back any time if needed.
Made an appointment. Completely disregarded, and had to wait 3 hours with 3 people in front of me. Garbage.
I wish I had one zero stars option. We had an app at 11am and they got us in at 1 pm in the room and then tele doc thing took another hour. So we got out at 3:40 from the clinic. Poor service. Their staff wasn’t trained to check my ears properly. It took them almost an hour to figure out this device.
This immediate care center is one of the best I have been to! Having three kids I have been to many but this place was the absolute best. The staff was super nice! We were there for my son as he sprained his ankle pretty bad. Wasn’t sure if it was broken. He couldn’t walk. They got him a wheeler chair. Had X-ray machine on site! Oh I did make an appointment and they were on time! Everyone there took care of my son. Comforted him. It wasn’t broken but now has a boot and crutches. They had all of that there! Nothing like needing ‘supplies’ and trying to find them at 8 at night somewhere else! They went over our instructions and helped him learn to use crutches. I have been to places where they don’t even care and send you on your way. Not here! They even helped us to our car! I would totally recommend this facility! I will pick this place over an emergency room. We weren’t treated like a number and shoved in a corner and forgotten about.
I saw nurse Vanya and Dr Jessica Scurto, both were phenomenal. So kind and helpful, they made sure I was as comfortable as possible while they worked on my care. They spoke to me like a real person, not just a medical chart. I felt welcomed and cared for the entire time I was there.Very clean facility, quick service and discharge. They made everything in my care packet clear, and they took the time to explain things to me further when I had questions. 10/10 this is the best medical care place in town!
What an amazing immediate care! I was taken back within minutes. It was very clean. I felt like everyone cared so much for me as a patient, from Terry at the front desk to the nurse taking my vitals, to Alex, I had the most amazing experience! I walked in hunched from the pain in my back, got something to help the pain and within hours I could feel a difference. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!
All the staff was nice, caring and professional. Thanks for your assistance!
These folks got me in and out really quick!Jess the PA was very nice, informative and helpful with her recommendations.
Had to take my 4yo in late on a Monday evening and everyone there from the secretary to the nurse to the PA was great. Super fast, efficient, and kind. Great to know this is here should my family need it again.
Would give zero stars if the system would let me. Walked in at 4pm on a Thursday and the very unenthused receptionist said it was a 3 hour wait but she could make me an 8:05 appt the following morning on Friday. She took my name and number and said youre all set. I arrived the following morning and the place was closed. I waited 20 minutes and other people with appointments arrived too. So I guess they can make appointments then close the center whenever they feel like it with no phone call to the patient. So much for immediate care. A huge waste of my time and Im still in pain. Thank you Physicians Immediate Care!
The care team were excellent! Though we are just walked in, the care they provided for my daughter was excellent care The medical assistant was very nice and the attending physician made sure we are going home feeling better and with no worries.
Not sure who was working on Saturday December 30 at the. Glendale heights location but some changes need to be made. My daughter in law was seen in the morning. She is an ICU nurse and I am a hospital nurse. She said they wrote down her vital signs that weren’t even taken except a blood pressure. She came in for a very sore throat and fever. They swab her twice for stept and said it was negative. Long story short it sounds like they don’t know what they are doing, lazy and unprofessional care. She went to another facility and was confirmed with Strept and ear infection. To bad she can’t get her money and time back.
Horrible experience Had an appointment and still had to wait for 3 hours. Did a covid flu and strep test. And looked in my daughters ears and throat then sent a bill for over $400. Will never go there again. Never heard of such outrageous prices. If I could give zero stars I would.
I don’t usually complain and post review like this but I am leaving this review in a hope that it helps others to make a better decision before coming to Physician Immediate Care (PIC)!I am under the weather for last few days and my coughing is not getting better so I decided to make an appointment at Pic assuming I will be seen by the doctor!I came in here and the front desk staff mentioned there, is no doctor at this facility so you will be having a tele-health appointment! They asked me to pay $75 copay! (Payment is not the issue here)My question to her was that why I was not informed while making an appointment that I will not be seen by the doctor! I came in here thinking to see a doctor. Also, if I needed to have a tele-health appointment why would I choose to come here where I can go and have tele-health anywhere because my insurance cover it for free!I asked the front desk staff and she just rudely told me to go somewhere else if i don’t want to see us via Tele-health.I wasted my time coming here, now if I need to go and make appointment somewhere else I will wait for hours and not sure if I will be seen by the doctor today or not!I asked her why it was not mentioned on an online portal that I am making an appointment for tele-health and her answer was that this is our protocol and this is how it works!I felt trapped and did not have a choice besides going through the tele-health!I am not against tele-health and I am sure it can be as effective as a real doctor but not having a transparency while making an appointment is not done! Plus having this kind of treatment is just not acceptable!Btw, I just did not like the Tele-Health appointment today! I was at the mercy of a technician who seems under training!I will never choose Physician Immediate Care (PIC) again!I hope this can help others to make an informed decision before making an appointment!
Im here for a COVID test, there is only one patient that they took in the back, Ive been waiting an hour in the waiting room, nobody else is in the waiting room, I can hear three employees chatting and laughing in the back. What is taking so long? I only need to have my nostrils swabbed and tested and the place is empty, employees chatting and laughing in the back, why am I still waiting for almost an hour now? This is stupid.Ive been here one and a half hours and finally was taken into the back, now Im waiting for the doctor to appear on a virtual remote screen because apparently there are no doctors here, its going to take another 25 minutes for the doctor to sign in and appear on the screen.
Employees were very helpful and pleasant when questions were asked. Short waiting time for service.
This place is the worst, I had to go 3 times for blood tests. they never called me back for the results, the last time. 2 months later I went in to ask for the results, and they realized they never tested me for the other test they needed, they never noticed or told me to come back, so I stayed and wasted my time, because they couldn’t find my veins, each time I was there they can’t draw. I get my blood drawn regularly at other places, they can do it. and this was the worst. there was no front desk person, when I went the second time for my blood draw, no one opened the place, and I had an appointment. they didn’t explain anything it took forever, and charged me for the blood test it was supposed to be paid by my work.
The staff is really great here and I like going to receive care but the billing is beyond messed up and has me worried to go back. The first time I went for an ear infection I did not receive a bill and thought maybe it just takes a while. I received a text final notice to pay immediately before the bill goes to collections. I paid in a panic and I was absolutely sure I had not received any bill prior to this. So when I went again I made sure they have all of my billing info up to date this time. It’s been 6 weeks since my last visit and still no bill. I called the phone number listed on the website for billing. I get put on hold for 10 minutes then get sent to a voicemail. I’m nervous about getting my bill and it seems like there is nothing I can do. I would caution anyone going here something is not right with their billing.
Waited for an hour to be called even with making an appointment. The receptionist was very warm and welcoming. Laughed and offered those waiting if they would like water. The intake person was extremely rude ( Khalil) didn’t smile, was very cold and said things that were very unprofessional. I would NEVER RETURN to this location because of this gentleman and warn you to do the same.He should not be working with the public especially where there are sick people who are in need of assistance in their time of need.Salam the NP was very nice.
Ive previously had good experiences here but this time has been horrible. I took my elderly mom to this location 5 days ago. She was diagnosed with a UTI and given a Rx for an antibiotic, but a culture was sent out to determine if it is the correct antibiotic to treat her infection.after waiting 5 days for a call, I called 3 times yesterday & 9 times today for culture results. I drove to the clinic twice today to try to get the information because no one would call me back.Their phone was disconnected for hours. ElizabethVallone is the provider on duty today. Now pharmacies are closed so I will have to find a 24 hour one. They had her results on 9/13 but it is 2 days later and it seems no one wants to follow up with results and appropriate medical advice and treatment.
Cassia was amazing!!! She helped me with patience, kindness and was very professional My son was there in a different day and she helped him with everything. Dr Sala was great as well. I would definitely recommend this location to family and friends.
Everyone at this place was very friendly and very helpful in getting my problem solved I would definitely recommend the doctor and the whole establishment here. They were all great!!
I brought my son here on weekend with a sore throat and will never go back. The rooms were dirty and even though we were the first ones there in the morning, the garbage cans in the exam rooms were all overflowing. If thats not bad enough, on the weekends there arent any trained medical professionals on site. There are just office workers who take all your information and sit you in a dirty exam room for over an hour while you wait for a doctor to free up for a telehealth visit with a doctor at some other location. 90 minutes later when a doctor is available they put you in a room with a screen and a camera and you video conference with a doctor over slow internet connection and a video feed that is constantly freezing and logging us off. This place should be shut down, what they are doing here cannot be considered health care.
The staff where very helpful and nice. The test results came back very fast.
ETA: My visit was today (9/13/2023) at 9:30 am. So no need for the auto response from the owner to email someone else to clarify dates/times/etc.Three stars because the staff at the front desk, and the PCTs are FANTASTIC (especially LeeAnne). The facility was very clean.Id give The Provider (thats what the staff called her - never got her actual name) a -12 stars if I could.I was there for a pre-employment physical and needed one tube of blood drawn. Pre-employment physical consisted of The Provider judging the 3 medications Im on and asked Who Prescribed these? [they are not anything special to write home about like narcotics or anything]. I replied Uh, my doctor. She then asked How often do you see him. I replied I see HER every 6 months. She then shut up thankfully. Then came time for the blood draw - I literally have no good veins to draw from except one vein in my right hand. Its been a problem for YEARS (and the few times I have been in the hospital have involved central lines and IV therapists for the needs of IVs). However, for blood draws, my good vein in my hand works well. Well it turns out The Provider instructed the staff that they were not allowed to draw blood out of my hand and they had to find a vein in my arm. 25 minutes and a lot of discussion later they decided to send me 1.3 miles up the street to Quest Diagnostics. Quest drew the blood out of my hand in 37 seconds (literally) - I was in and out of there in less than 3 minutes.I phoned the Regional Operations Manager of Wellnow (who owns this practice now) at 11:06 am today and as of this minute (3.20 pm) have not heard a word.
Great service. Facility was clean and our wait time was about 15 min (we went first thing on a Sunday morning). I like how the forms are sent electronically to be filled out on your phone when you get there. Overall, pleased with our visit and they handled my 1 year old with kindness and patience.
I went into this place for a DOT Physical and it couldnt of gone any better. They got me in quickly and did a Physical with the Dr and I was out in 30 minutes. Go to Concentra and u will wait 2-3 hours.Yes you may.
I’ve been here three-four times within the last 5-6 years for occupational related issues. The wait can be long but the staff are excellent and accommodating regardless of the number of walk-ins and those with reservations. The nurses and other medical staff treated me with dignity and mindful of HIPPA concerns each time. I remember that I forgot my driver’s license there 4 years ago and was able to retrieve it the following Monday without fail. Good experiences for me all around.
10:19 appointment and Im still waiting for a simple drug test. Now 11:06. Need to get back to work. The appointment system here doesnt seem to guarantee any sort of time frame. Edit. raising to two star because back staff is great. However they need to redo their appointment system and use those big tvs in waiting room to make wait time more clear like Quest diagnostics for example.
The center was understaffed they had to go by appointments only. I was called in one hour after my appointment time. They had no x-ray technition. My sister had the first appointment of the day she also waited 40 minutes. The staff (2) were good but did not work very fast for an immediate care center hence the delay in care.
Used to be great then changed hands. Made an appointment for 10:26. As of 11:27 I left and went somewhere else. Not sure if that is the policy of the company that bought them out? All the staff are always polite and the doctors are great but if thats the way the place will be run, I wont be back sorry
Staff was very laid back. I kept making jokes the whole time and the phlebotomist, nurse and doctor were laughing and talking to me like weve been friends for a long time. Definitely will go back
As others have said, the wait times at this place are outrageous. Took me 1 hour 40 minutes to be called into a room and then another 35 minutes waiting to be seen by the doctor for a broken bone even after I had pre-scheduled an appointment. They are apparently short on doctors but this has been a problem for quite a while now, and its only gotten worse. They dont warn you that your wait time is guaranteed to be insanely long even with an appointment. Cant justify coming back here under any circumstances.
The staff on Sunday 08/14/22 was very nice and freindly. From receptionist all the way to the doctor, everyone was very supportive and kind. Their behavior and kindness made me forget my pain. They were fast and efficient and got the job done quickly. Bless them.
This place was literally a joke! We scheduled an appointment for 2:30 and we didn’t go back to a room until 430. When we asked when our turn was or were we forgotten they could just say there’s two people in front of us…for over 2 hours. When we got to the room they swabbed my 15 month sons nose and didn’t come back into the room for another hour. My finance had to go out there to find a nurse and they even said 15 more minutes. This place is literally ridiculous & the worst place I’ve ever been to. I should not be at an urgent care for over 4 hours when I had an appointment or I should have just went to the ER.
Purely based on my experience with their billing department, people should stay away from this place. They cant submit documentation completely/correctly. They refuse to get on a conference call with insurance. They refuse to send a complete and accurate statement, instead billing in pieces and surprising clients. Also billing department staff are generally rude and un-cooperative. It was possible to clear up the issues but at the cost of spending significant time on the phone, which nobody should be doing.
I went in late afternoon with no appointment. I was out of there in under an hour. Quick service, but thorough as well. From the technician to the doctor, all were attentive and caring. Would use them again if I cant get into my doctor.
Waiting for 2.5 hours with an appointment. Very poor communication, unprofessionally behind schedule.Staff was very friendly, and efficient once inside. Would get 5 star review if their system had provided timely updates in advance that they were running behind and I should remain at home longer.I considered being more forgiving with 4 stars given how fantastic the staff was once inside, however my wife was at the Hanover Park location the week of Christmas and only experienced a 15 min delay vs appointment.
We have used this facility for all of our COVID testing needs and have had good experiences each time. When it is very busy, like recently, they are not as timely, but what else can one expect in a pandemic after a major holiday when many people are having symptoms or have been exposed? The care was friendly, helpful, and thorough. I appreciate being able to easily make appointments online and wait in my car while I wait for my appointment. I would recommend them. :)
I made an appointment online for the same day, walked in, and was only seated for a few minutes before being called in. Dr. Salem Yamak was friendly and I was in and out quickly. I will use this place again when I need an urgent care. It was clean and only had a few people in the waiting room- I really should be keeping this place a secret!
We were in town for the weekend 6 hours from home when my 16 yr old daughter became ill. I called to make sure they took my insurance and once I heard a yes, I wanted to walk out the door. They scheduled an appointment for her within the hour and told her to come on over. The lobby was full but they called us back in 30 minutes. The med asst was awesome and so was the doctor. They gave my daughter a shot and 2 prescriptions and within 30 minutes she was feeling a little better. My only complaint is they sent the prescription to the wrong CVS and had the wrong date of birth on her records. Everything else was 7/24’
My appointment time was NOT honored that I made and preregistered for. They also ask you to arrive 15 minutes prior to the appointment. I then waited another 20 minutes after my appointment time. I waited a total of 35 minutes and asked the receptionist when I was expected to be called in. She confirmed that there were still two people ahead of me. She said, we are busy. I personally have no use for a business that does not consider their patients time.
Nicole was an amazing provider. Very kind, funny and thorough with her exam. Joaquin/MA was also amazing. Very professional and kind while giving me an ekg. Thank you to the front desk lady , she was sweet and kind when I checked in on 8/23. What an amazing staff!! Caring from the ❤
Worst visit. Made a appointment. Waited in my car 2 hours to get the call that I could come in. Was told Id be seen soon by a doctor. I waited almost 2 hours and then gave up. Im sick and made the appointment so I didnt have to wait these ridiculous times. If they were so busy they should have come to tell me it would be a little longer but almost 2 hours with no updates is pathetic. I shouldnt have to be there for almost 4 hours
They only care about the money. No one bothers to tell you that there is a new thing that you need a referral from your primary care physician. They will see you like everything is okay, take your copay and then give you a $300 bill for the visit. It doesnt even say what charges are for :) No way to contact billing, there is only one line, no email, no way to leave a message either. Very convenient for them. They billing lady said to me straight: many of our patients dont know about the referral policy. But its not my job to inform them - Very caring. My family member went there twice last month and almost got his kidneys damaged permanently, because no-one bothered to run enough tests after seeing his white blood cells were skyrocketing. They sent him home said he needs to rest. He ended up in emergency room with 107 degree fever the next day! Great care.
It was a long wait but it was also the day before Christmas Eve with multitudes getting the Omicron. Probably about 4 hours. We did run an errand in the interim although they said to wait in the car. I just really liked the nurse who did our phone triage. She was so pleasant and informative. The PA was also helpful. It was a good experience.
I made a same day appointment for my son. When I arrived for the appointment there was a sign on the door that said temporarily closed. I called their Hanover park location and the medical assistant could see in the system my son had an appointment, yet the manager closed the clinic and did not notify me that they would no longer honor the appointment. Do not waste your time going here, take your child elsewhere as I had to. Terrible protocol and management.
There was a bit of a wait but the girls at the front desk were very nice. Shari and the Physician (sorry forgot her name) ware amazing. They both were very friendly, and made me feel quite calm and comfortable. Thank you all for the great service!
Had a follow up appointment today, went in and I was not on the system. Same girl that I confirmed my appointment was there and still said that I was not in the system 😡 I was going to wait god know how long due to the walk in. Like did she not put my appointment in like she confirmed like last Monday. The doctor that saw me on Monday 20 was very apologetic since I went long that day too. She was amazing but to wait again for god knows how long no thank you.
I had an extremely pleasant experience with the staff here. My appointment setting was very easy. And, from the moment I walked in the door I was immediately attended to..Rizwun M. was very helpful in informing me of any possible wait times, process of exam..also in assisting with paperwork, etc. The Physician was very thorough with my exam..and also the nurses. Overall, I must say I was quit impressed with the level of service given being that this is a walk in clinic. I would definitely come back and or make referrals. Good job you All!
Had tested positive at home for COVID-19 and was relieved that were open on Easter to be seen. I went early and was seen very quickly. Everyone was very nice. Received prescriptions for Paxlovid and cough medicine. Has made all the difference in how I feel!
As former patients have left in review of wait time, i would advise not to come here if you are a a STAT patient. Their wait hours are too long. Besides that the ladies at the front desk are unprofessional, they are loud about their personal lives, complaining about their jobs, along w other offices calling them to clarify information, one of them (heavier lady who sat on the left ) bangs on the desk and just throws stuff as if the whole world needs to see how frustrated she is w her job , as a nurse who has worked in the medical field in different specialties it is an embarrassment to have these two represent the medical field. The attitude is unpleasant, you have patients coming in sick , or WC patients in pain who also dont want to be there get to deal w these two and their personalities. The nurse i had was nice , had a beautiful hand to take blood work and give immunizations , as well as the provider whom gaved clear instructions .
Had an appointment at 10:20, didn’t actually make it until 11:50. Did not receive a lot of communication and felt pretty slighted since I had gone through the process beforehand. Once I was actually brought into the appointment, I appreciated the service, but I then had to wait fairly long with no communication for my results. All in all, I was quite disappointment, especially when my father had gone in there a week ago WITHOUT an appointment and got better assistance. So if you go in there for a Covid test, maybe just walk in.
Great experience. Front desk person knew me from coming in a day before . She greeted me very nicely had my paperwork and all ready . Toni, took me in the back room and omg she is a phenomenal. Just the way she talked to me , made eye contact and knew how I was feeling made me feel better already. Kindness, professionalism and care Toni had all in her.Thank you for taking care of me today .
My appointment was at 1:30, received a text telling me to get there 15 minutes early and check in. We weren’t even called for our appointment. At 2:00 I called and after being on hold for 12 minutes, was told to go inside. Not organized at all, people just sitting and waiting. Nurse came in and we had to wait another 23 minutes to get the results of the covid test.Would not recommend this facility at all. I understand that health care workers have long shifts, but my time is just as important as theirs.I work, just as they do. Everyone’s time is important. This particular location needs to realize this.
I have never left a bad review for any place I have ever been to in my 26 years of living. But I have to for this place. 11:00 scheduled appointment for a 15 minute test took 2 1/2 hours. I didn’t walk into a doctors room until 12:30 and was in there alone for so long that the LIGHTS TURNED OFF. Genuinely the worst dr/ medical experience I have ever had the miss pleasure of dealing with. This place is TRASH
I appreciate that this location values patient safety and had procedures in place to protect against covid (e.g. waiting in car until they call you back) but it took roughly 2 hours . About 15 minutes of that 2 hours was spent waiting for test results which is expected for what I had done. However, It should not have taken that long to get in when I had a scheduled appointment. This location could improve its office management.
Billing Nightmare. Communicating with them to pay is horrible. They are only open during 9-5 work hours in the weekdays. And they do not answer to emails or through their online portal. Just got a bill threatening further action when they already have my money. So angry and furious.
I came in at 3:15 on a Sunday afternoon and was leaving at 4:45. Thats not bad for a walk-in clinic.I called ahead and knew about how long the wait would be. Everyone was friendly and professional. Most importantly, they were transparent. I called other urgent care clinics to ask about a flu test and one couldnt give me an estimate and one was going to charge $600! I called here and they said it would be $135. Thats reasonable for an out-of-pocket cost (I dont have insurance). Would highly recommend. I will use again.
Stay away from this place. I went in with face pain due to sinus issue and they put a young non doctor person. How didnt prescribe a damn thing and had noClue what it was. I hate when you pay to see a doctor not a young inexperience non doctor! Crooks!
Unbelievable service. We visited the care center on Friday afternoon at 5. The lady at the front desk ( do not know her name ), an African American lady was awesome. Very friendly, patient and professional. Toni the lady who took us to the back and did all the examination was awesome. Very friendly, patient and professional.Overall, satisfied with everything from start to finish. Great job everyone! Keep up the good work! Highly recommend this facility.
I made an appointment at the 30 minutes late mark, I asked how much longer. Front desk person offered to cancel… a bit late in my opinion. She told me another 10Minutes. 55 mins. past the appt. time. I’m shown into a room. Someone took vitals and now25 minutes later, I am still waiting for a “provider”.The doctor arrived and she was good thorough and pleasant. Clearly this is a management issue. You need another doctor on the weekend. And the front desk needs to tell people when they are running behind
This place was the only place open the day after Christmas…. Even our personal MD was closed. I Had a hunch my 17 yr old son had strep over Christmas Eve night. We were seen rather quickly within an hour from start to finish, was tested and was diagnosed with strep, given an Rx for antibiotics . I would definitely use this place again for sick visits if my family cannot be immediately seen by our MD
I scheduled my appointment and filled out all of my paperwork online. Scanned my driver’s license and insurance card in through my phone. This was a very nice and contactless check in. My appointment was just a little bit behind schedule, not bad at all. Very professional and thorough PA. Would go here again.
Happy to find a place accepting my insurance and had available appointments for covid tests. Only issue was the long wait & inability to schedule back to back appointments for my child and myself. Staff & doctors all very nice. Just frustrating to be waiting well past our online appointment times, especially when we were told to arrive early, which we did. Will keep in mind for next time there is a need though.
I came from out of state. The whole staff was exceptional, they were very understanding about everything I was going through. From the receptionist, to nurse, to doctor, I received excellent care from people that showed genuine concern and cared greatly for me. I would recommend this place for anyone, especially if you are out of state, as they accommodate most insurance plans.
The nurse (Vanja)and the doctor(Jessica Scruto) were amazing and sweet! The only thing that really disappoint me was when I called to see which is best with less wait time whether to walk in or appointment, the guy told me it’s better to make an appointment. So I did! I still ended up waiting an hour an half before I got seen!
Over an hour and a half past my appointment time and Im still waiting on the waiting area with an estimated wait time of 26 minutes. What the hell is the point of making an appointment if you end up waiting as long or longer than a walk in? I would not recommend this place to anyone and I definitely will never be coming back. If walk out already if I didnt already pay my $50 copay. What a waste of time!!
Everything seemed great at first, answered all questions and paperwork. Made an appointment for the next day due to their schedule. I arrived and was denied care because they refuse to see anyone injured due to a car. This is something they knew the day before and did not tell me. They said to just go to the ER like it wasnt a big deal to spend more money and sit in the ER for 6+ hours.Im sure they can provide much better service, but the fact they were this incompetent in this manner makes it impossible for me to rate this above a 1.
The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Nurse practicer was very knowledgeable and great bed side manner.I usually go to the VA and after dealing with them for 3 hours I was able to go to this immediate care. I called at 430 and had me checked in before I got there. I was really impressed with the whole visit.Thank you!!!!!!
Very positive and informational...Dr Cuk has an amazing manner about him and is very comforting and professional.Always leave my visits with him feeling Im in good hands.
We were traveling and had no idea where to go for assistance. Your facility was clean and your staff were amazingly patient, friendly, and thorough. You made a huge difference for my young daughter and dealing with her injury. Thank you!!! Exceptional service!
Walked in 10 minutes after they opened to get a copy of my x-rays. Told receptionist I needed the disc from my previous visit. She had me fill out a form and told me to have a seat in the waiting area. 10 to 15 minutes later I was called to go back to an exam room. When I got there I was instructed to take off my jacket and have a seat on the table. When I clarified that I had only come to get a disc, the nurse/tech told me that the receptionist had me fill out the wrong form and had put me down as an injury followup visit. I went back to the waiting area, filled out the correct form and 5 minutes later was on my way. What should have been a 5 minutes visit took almost a half hour.
Front desk lady had a slight attitude. Overall though I can’t complain. Took about an hour to be seen which is not terrible. Nurse and doctor were very friendly and thorough.
Rns and physicians were so amazing. Everything was very clean and sanitized and everyone wore masks and protective gear which made me feel very comfortable. I walked in very confused and out of it and the staff was so helpful and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and on the phone when I expressed how sick I was they had me in right away. I was so miserable for the last 3 days before I went in and saw them and today I feel so much better. I would recommend them any day!Thank you so much!
I can only praise Physicians Immediate Care for their very good professional service and courteous manners.I certainly will recommend it to everyone.Thank you again.
This is the worst place I have ever been to. Had an appointment for 2:30, was told to come 15 minutes early. Sat and waited in the car with my sick daughter for over an hour. I was very specific about what test I needed done, also included this on the registration form. Phone triage nurse and nurse that came in the room were extremely rude. The nurse in the room completely ignored me when I said what test needed to be done which resulted in the wrong test being done. Daughter had to be tested again. Nurse literally threw a tantrum like a toddler because the doctor pointed out that the wrong test was done. Do yourself a favor, find a different place to go….
I was scheduled for 3:20 and got here at 220 and checked in early it is now 4:36 with no courtesy call letting me know they are behind. I called at 4pm they said i was next, here we are 36min later and i continue to wait. I understand there is a rise in demand for medical services however management needs to account for that and staff accordingly or not offer so many back to back online appointments with walk ins. 3 stars for kind nurse
I am so thankful this facility is so close to us. It is always convenient. Often more convenient than going to my own doctor. The receptionist, nurses, and doctors are always very friendly. They are also knowledgeable. Ive brought my son there, and Ive gone there as well. We are never turned away. Theres minimal paperwork to fill out, and were always in and out. Quick and easy. The only downside is it is just a tad more expensive, but when youre sick, with their immediate treatment and resolutions, its worth every penny. Thank You!
Stay away. Staff is friendly but left me waiting 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment without an update. One of the Receptionist was to busy the whole 1.5 hours talking about herself and her past weekend events to the other receptionist. Covid walk-ins were their focus. Tried to do hearing test and could not hear tones because nurses were talking loud and then told me my hearing was diminished. Idiots!!
I went here for an infected pet cat bite that was very painful. I can’t say enough about my first experience with this Urgent Care Center which my insurance company referred me to for medical care. The wait was minimal; the office was clean; everyone on the staff was kind and professional…the PCT/RT September and PA Jessica Scurto we’re thorough and informative, and put me at ease. I even left with my prescription filled, saving me time and pain.I’m glad I have this office as an option for medical attention. I highly recommend Physicians Immediate Care in Glendale Heights.
Very pleasant and very quick. Staff was super nice. I dont know the woman that was in the foyer doorways on Friday May 29th at opening she was super. And the gentleman that came to my vehicle was really nice. Thanks for the rapid response and politeness in these times. Great Job!!!!!
Poor experience. I spent two hours for a strep throat. The doctor was rude, very slow and he didn’t even examine my lungs or throat. I usually go to NW but tried this place because of the good reviews. Would not go again.
The last 2 times I had to go there my experience was truly amazing. They really have great people working there. I would reccomend this place to anyone who needs to go to an urgent care facility. They really care about their patients. (From my experiment)
You can set an appointment, which I thought was great! But when you get there, they tell you there is an hour wait. Friendly staff, except front desk, who seemed the least knowledgeable. The wait was actually 30 minutes, not 60 min, and they couldnt tell you how much any of the cost actually might be. Doctor was thorough and very caring.
Came into the office at 10 AM on a Wednesday because I was concerned I had broken a toe. There was little wait, the staff was courteous and attentive, and the doctor saw me quickly. We were able to get my foot x-rayed immediately, and the doctor showed me the results and explained them. Overall I’m very happy with my experience at this urgent care.
Very clean and staff was nice. Had an appointment but felt like it was more of a line placeholder. The only benefit for setting up the appointment was that I could fill out the paperwork before I got there.
Inspite of having appointment and empty rooms, they make us wait for almost 45 mins to attend and provide consultation. Overall before we came out the duration was 1 hr 10 mins. Just to examine and providing medication. The staff needs to speed up so that patients need not spend more than 15-20 mins for the consultation.
I’m you need to be seen, just make sure you don’t have other plans for the day. This location is always very slow… no matter if that’s 2 people in front of you or 20 just be prepared for a minimum of an hour wait before they take you back.Other than that, they do an ok job. Typical clinic. Just a bit slower than the other locations.
I am completely impressed with the level of attention and care given here at this location. From the moment we walked in to when we left, the staff here was attentive and caring. We were greeted by the front desk attendant. Just like any other office doctors office visit, we were asked for identification, insurance information, and payment information. We were asked to fill out paperwork as well. It was not busy when we got there. We waited for about 10 minutes or so before were were seen.Once we were seen, the medical staff took vitals and were very compassionate and friendly. We were then quickly seen by the Physicians Assistant. The PA was incredible! I was blown away by how thorough she was. To give you some backstory, the patient (my child) was feeling very sick. We were trying to pinpoint what was wrong with them. We made some educated assumptions as to what could be causing the illness but we did not want to guess and go with that decision. Thats when we went to this Physicians Immediate Care. We walked in not having a definite clue what was going on. We tried to be as detailed as possible with regards to my childs symptoms. The PA asked a lot of questions and really took the time to triage. In the end, she had determined what was the issue and had provided us with next steps in care. Her level of knowledge and experience played a key role in determining my childs illness. The PA and the rest of the staffs compassion and care played a key role in our comfort and understanding of the problem. We walked in concerned and with a lot of questions. We left a little more relaxed and happy to have a clear understanding of what the issues were and next steps.Thank you for the top level of care. We now know where to go when something like this may occur again. All the best!
Waited over 2hrs for 1min test. Texting, their new form of communication, failed. They replied after an hour when a front desk person was available the whole time. Understand being busy, running late but thats what a text option is for. Inform your patients about a delay so they dont have to wait. Thats really incompetent. You want us to respect your jobs, respect your patients work as well.
Excited about setting up a appointment online with a decent time...then after I arrive I had to wait a additional 65 minutes to get a rapid covid test. Wasnt happy with the additional time but the staff was very nice and kinda made up for the frustration of having to wait.
Had to get a COVID-19 test done due to potential exposure. While the appointments fill up fast, once I booked a time, everything worked incredibly well. I registered online, did triage over the phone and they brought me right in for the test. I had the results in 30 minutes. The staff members I worked with were very professional and friendly. I strongly recommend PIC-Glendale Heights.
I went in for physical and a TB shot at the Glendale Heights location . I paid for the physical and put the TB shot on my insurance which was $38 and then they say you are good to go. Then a month later I get a bill saying I owe for the TB shot because they never ever Billed my insurance even when they have it on file and in her hand at that time . Also at the time I got the TB shot I asked the nurse what is the TB shot for and he said..... I forgot..... I am never coming to this place again. Thank God customer service was really nice and polite and they apologize for what Glendale Heights Physicians did.. Customer service build my insurance for the remaining amount that the physicians in Glendale Heights was supposed to do. This was my first time at that office and my last time..
When I went they took a $130 deposit and the lady at the desk told me it was guaranteed to come back in 7 business days. It’s been way longer than that and I’ve tried contacting them. Seems like a scam of sorts to me. Very disappointed and frustrated.
Front desk is amazing and very helpful. Its best to go in with an appointment scheduled, walk in wait times are very high if you plan in on waiting there.
I made an appointment over the phone for 4:40. Its now 6:30 and Im still in the waiting room. No communication. Why even take my appointment?Unacceptable. I want to scream. Wish I could give less than one star. Ill NEVER come back here again.
Friendly front office staff. Very professional doctor.
Horrible customer service. They had major attitude, let multiple people walk in lobby and helped them while asking others to wait outside to keep everyone safe. Then once in the room, they left to do their test processing and shut the lights off in my room twice. Won’t be back, there are a lot of other places that take safety and politeness more seriously.
I need a COVID test asap and this location was able to get me in right away. The staff is very friendly and professional. My physician, Jessica Scurto was very knowledgable, she answered all the questions I had. She was very comforting and reassuring which definitely helped me feel at ease. I will continue to go to this location based off this experience, highly recommend!
I had an appointment at 1:20 PM. At 1:40 PM, I still was not notified to come in for service. I called the 800 number to ask when I was going to be seen and was told at 1:50PM. At 2 PM, I went into the facility to inquire about the status of my being seen and was told that I was next and would be seen within 15 minutes. 25 minutes later I went back into the facility and was told that they would get someone to see me as soon as possible. At 2:40 PM, I was called and asked additional questions (that I had already answered in the online registration) and told to come in. I went inside the facility, I was seated in a room and somebody swabbed my nose for the Covid test. I was told that a doctor would be in shortly. The gentleman who came in next was not a doctor. He was a physician’s assistant. While I respect the role that a physicians assistant plays, he is not a doctor! They should not be referring to staff members who are not actual MDs as a doctor. He gave me the results of my test and I felt very unsure of his guidance to me. I asked questions and he responded rather vaguely without any conviction. I did not leave feeling that I got sound medical advice. Then, he points out to me that the paperwork they gave me was incorrect and made no attempt to rectify the situation. It was an infuriating experience! I will never go back to this facility again. I will not recommend this facility to anybody. I appreciate that an emergency can come in and the time for scheduled appointments will be delayed.. However, this company has a texting system to send messages out to patients. Certainly, if an emergency comes in and appointments are going to be delayed, this company has the wherewithal to notify the patient of the delay so as further not to waste the patient’s time. Especially, when that delay is over 20 minutes.?(My delay was over an hour and a half.) Completely unprofessional.
Physicians Immediate Care in Glendale Heights, IL is the best. I scheduled an appointment and was seen within an appropriate time. Doctor was thorough while examining me. They have taken better care of me than any primary care physician Ive seen. I receive a follow up call from the doctors. Great job!
I took my daughter to this clinic for strep throat. The staff was very courteous and attentive to her needs. They immediately identified the problem and treated appropriately. When we left she said, I really liked that doctor it was Sherry, the P.A who treated her. Her symptoms improved the next day. Plus the clinic was beautiful and very clean!
Gave me a pain prescription that interacted with my current medication (that was given at registration) and the medical professionals didn’t tell me till after I left so I couldn’t fill it.Never called me back for results, I was told 48 hours. After 5 days when I tried to call and get my results, but every time I called the front desk, after a while- it just hung up on me.The Medical System shouldn’t be this bad in this country. What would have happened if I took the wrong mix of prescriptions? I’m still waiting on results meaning that I could be possibly doing something detrimental to my health but I wouldn’t know bc no one contacted me and I cannot reach anyone. The reason I gave two stars was because the staff was polite. But along with that, I need correct medical treatment. Thank you for reading my review.
The staff was extremely friendly. They made me feel very safe with their COVID protocols. The doctor I saw had great bedside manner and took the time to explain everything I did not initially understand. Great all around medical care.
If you want to come here and waste a hour and a half or more because you have a sore throat then this is the place for you. I came in and there was one person in front of me so naturally I believed it to be a quick visit. To my surprise I waited in a examination room for 50 minutes and counting for a flu and strep test. It’s amazing the intellect these individuals possess that it doesn’t occur to them to actually do their job and treat people.
This place is my go to for small accidents. My son has been here a few times for smashed fingers . Most recently for a torn ear which needed stitches. Everyone was sooooo great with him. He was able to calm down and they just did a fantastic job! This place is way better than the emergency room. Where you wait forever and then get billed $500 for pretty much nothing.
We brought our 93 year old mother here after a fall. Everyone treated her gently and professionally. X-rays were taken and she received a good physical. Emily, the RT and Eric Torres, PA were thorough. Overall a good experience. Thank you.
I woke up with covid and had no clue what to do. Scared, I called the clinic and an angel name Cassia answered the phone, calmed me down, gave me instructions of what was going to happen next and I had an appointment for 10 minutes later. When I got there, I was triaged and assessed by another angel name Phyllise who put me at ease. She talked, educated, and supported me throughout this terrifying process so much that my blood pressure dropped by the time I left the clinic. Finally, the third angel walked through the door and her name was Dr. Jessica Scurto, and she explained my situation, what to expect, what to get to alleviate my symptoms, and told me to come back/call if I had any questions or concerns that I may have later. Physicians Immediate Care understands and practices just how important customer care, customer satisfaction, and customer support means.THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!
The woman at the desk was pleasant and informative. She gave me paperwork to fill out and explained what to do. The waiting area and exam room were very clean. The PA that saw me was great.
This place was so friendly and kind to my child and I. We will definitely return if we need any immediate care in the future. All of the staff was so friendly and the wait time was not bad at all. I would recommend.
I had a good experience. Everybody was professional and the serviced was great even though were dealing with a pandemic. By having patients wait in their cars instead of the waiting area was an excellent ideal. Good job all around.
Person that took my sample was very snarky when asked about costs involved. Staff did not return our driver’s license and insurance cards afterward. We had to return after we got home, when we realized we didn’t have them. Even then, it took 5+ minutes to locate them. I hope they took better care of my personal medical information.
I have given this place several chances and each time its the same. Make an appointment, wait forever past the appointment time with no notification or apology for the wait. They are also inconsistent with billing and information. I brought one child in for a drug screen for school and didnt have to pay anything. When I bring a child in for the SAME test suddenly insurance doesnt cover it and I have to pay out of pocket? This is the LAST time I use this company
The only place that will allow you to place an appointment with someone on the phone and not be open with no warning of the day you schedule an appointment. Highly disappointed and very unprofessional. This caused me to be late to work and all.
If I could give them zero stars I would. The worst customer service, lazy employees who do not know how to do their job. They did not know how to input my insurances info without a photo of my insurance card even though I had my member ID, insurance email as proof, and group policy number with me. I do not recommend going here if you are sick and want any type of treatment for your illness. They will lot help you.
I wish I could not even give one star. My 2 year old daughter had to come in get a xray done for her wrist. Waited for 2 hours. Noone picks up there phone. Just a terrible terrible terrible experience. Im not one to write reviews but if you need to go to urgent care, find another one.
Came in with an Avulsion Fracture and at the end of 3 1/2 hr consult wasn’t provided with the proper size boot. So, they contacted nearby office and claimed proper fitting boot available. So, I drove to that specific office, walked in and asked for boot that was called in. Was then told to wait for a min while she checked in the only patient there at that time. Then, 15 min go by staff person came out with the same sized boot and said this was the only size available M & L. They didn’t carry size S. Lastly, the staff person that assisted me wasn’t pleasant at all. I hobbled off disappointed and dissatisfied with the whole experience.
Friendly quick excellent service !Very friendly receptionist wait time was short highly recommended!
Came in on a Sunday morning with a stab wound in my leg. Staff saw to my immediate treatment. Professional and friendly. Doctor did a beautiful job stitching me up, and explaining after care I needed. They accepted my insurance, cost was very reasonable, and it didnt take that long. I hope to never be stabbed again, but if I was injured, this experience was way more pleasant than a hospital could have been. Recommend this location for all your stabby needs.
Wait for 3 hours to hear that I need to take Tylenol and salt water! I was seen by a medical assistant not even a MD. Stay away!Edit response: “super proud!” Your Medical assistant, knowing that I am breastfeeding, suggested that I take a medication that it is NOT indicated to breastfeeding moms. Super knowledgeable your stuff!
I made an appointment online for 10:50 and was told to arrive early for check in. That was now over a hour and a half ago and Im still sitting and waiting to be seen by someone. The name is a lie. Instead of Physicians Immediate Care, it should be Physicians Eventual Care.Ive seen better wait times at a hospital ER. What an absolute joke.EDIT : A girl came out about 45 minutes ago and informed me that they were running behind and it would be another 10-15 minutes. Again, that was FORTY FIVE minutes ago.
The staff here was very friendly. The women at reception had her hands full but spent time with everyone, even those she couldn’t help she went out of her way to give them other resources.
I dont know where to start, from walking in the door my experience was TOP NOTCH from the girl who checked me in, to Toni who explained everything to me step by step she goes above and beyond. Dr Amy was exceptional she knew I was alittle nervous and scared but she was so sweet and calm which calmed me down, dr Amy covered all ends from x rays to throat cultures. I left feeling on top of the worst. If your sick this is DEFINITELY the place to go!!!!!Thank you all from the bottom of my heart ❤️Denise
Skip this place altogether... It may cost more money to go to the ER but at least youll get some kind of medical service. Went in with a severe back pain, they did nothing. The nurse at the facility was great, she took all of my information and got thing off on the right foot. Then after that it went downhill, I sat in the room waiting for the doctor almost 40 minutes, when she came in the room she had already made her decision on treatment before she even talked to me. When she came back into the room AFTER she saw me the first time, she asked me why on was on Plavix, which was in my record from the nurse, I told her I has a heart attack and she asked when...which you guessed it was in my record that now I could tell she NEVER looked at before coming in.I dont go to the doctor at the drop of a hat and it takes a good amount of pain to get me in there, Ive never seen a doctor do so little in my life. She paid absolutely no attention to what I was telling her, and had no interest in listening to me. She couldve told me to rub dirt at it and get back in there. I am contacting my insurance company NOT TO PAY these folks because there really did nothing
9/13 Walgreens Regular PCR Test: Negative, but the result was reviewed 17th morning. The airplane leaving Chicago for our Canadian Rockies vacation was around 5am on 16th and without Negative result I couldn’t be allowed boarding any flights. So I had to take a same day Rapid PCR test from Physicians Immediate Care in 9/15 late afternoon and they showed me a Positive result right after my test. There was no any suggestions after I mentioned that the test was only for my tomorrow morning travel and I had no any symptoms neither any uncomfortable feels. While I was doing self quarantine, I decided to get one more test because I really doubt the accuracy of this rapid result.9/17 CVS Regular PCR Test is Negative gain.We cancelled all of our reservations one by one for our 10 days Canada vacation and to avoid penalties we had to make a lot of phone calls, especially for those partial reservations since our friend family is still going. The false positive brought me so much inconveniences, frustrations and stresses!😡To think, if it goes opposite, a positive reported negative, what can happen to our society!!!
I went in for a follow up appointment after injuring my finger. Friendly staff, I really appreciate Kristina’s help. They got me in and out fast and answered all my questions so I can get healed up properly and quickly. Great experience. Thank you!
The staff was very nice, though the wait was extremely long. The facility seemed outdated compared to other same type urgent care facilities. Your facility didn’t not have a doctor but had a Nurse Practitioner. Fine to treat an earache or common respiratory illness not for all needs related to Immediate Care. The doctor oversees the facility and comes once per week. The PA sees you the rest of the time.I had a return follow up appointment today( I have edited my post to include todays visit 8/19/19) to see an actual Doctor. I am very aware of capabilities of a PA. My daughter is going to school to become one. When I am being treated for some injury other than a common cold, earache. Id like to be attended by an actual physician. too many companies are cutting corners by not having a physicain on location at all times. The PA works directly under the doctor. If there is a question or concern, the PA should be able to get assistance from the doctor immediately, in person. Otherwise, it should not be called Physicians Immediate Care. It should be PA Immediate Care. Charging PA prices and not physician prices.
Very professional staff! I had to wait but it was very quick and competitive service once it had started. Staff was very friendly and welcoming to east out our overall experience.
They left me in the room and forgot I was there for an hour. I had to go out of the room and ask some guy if someone was going to give us the results of a test. Apparently they misplaced my file. Highly would not recommend… took 3 hours to go and get home and. It wasn’t even busy.
My husband and I were here on Friday for COVID testing after being notified we may have been exposed. We got there 30-45mins early and there was already a line forming. Closer to 8am a worker came out and started handing out #d post-its. They were only doing 30 tests and we were #s 22 and 23 phewww! The started taking people one by one in the entrance and asking basic questions. You put a CC in a bag so they could charge ur copay and then u went to ur car to wait for a text to complete registration. Once that was done you got a time to come back. Shortly before my time we got a phone call to finish going over some questions. Then we got another call to pull into the space where we would be seen. Your temp, BP, and O2 was taken and then your nose swabbed. Then you sat and waited for results. I would say we were there from 7:20am til about 12:30pm from waiting in line for a # to results given. It seemed pretty long but I didnt care because we needed to be tested. I was happy that I was given a rapid test so I could get results same day.
If I could rate this zero stars I would. This establishment provided the utmost worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. Angelica Martinez and the staff ought to be fired. I was made to spend 4 plus hours convincing Angelica Martinez of my legal rights and the legal repercussions of her not following. I was made to provide my legal documents via email to Angelica Martinez over the span of 4.5 hours while being hung up on by various staff members. This was a nightmare that lasted the better half of my day. Angelica Martinez and the staff here were out of line, illegal in their actions, rude and offensive, and ruined my entire day. I am appalled at the mistreatment I had to endure by Angelica Martinez and the inept and unqualified staff that work here. Do not go here for your children and your sanity. Angelica Martinez, the staff and whoever hired said people are acting illegally and unlawfully and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
I called to make an appointment for a cortazone shot for my hip. After checking to make sure there is going to be the right practitioner there to do it I scheduled the appointment after arriving I check in I was asked what I was there forI said I had a 11:30 for a cortazone shot on my hip. After getting my vitals done . The practitioner said that they dont do hip injections because they dont have the equipment to do and he gave me a referral for theropy and was charge 165.00 for nothing they should have said at the beginning they couldnt do it
I was given information by a community ambassador at the mosque I go to and felt that the information shared was extremely useful. I didn’t realize that the clinic was so close to my house and open on weekends too. Will definitely be utilizing the services in the case I need medical attention rather than going to an ER and having to wait hours and pay high co-pays!
I had sprained my foot and was in pain I went to this walk in clinic on a Sunday the staff was professional. The Attending Dr was very kind & understanding also he had aSense of humor which is important when were nervous. Highly recommend this clinic.
Just waited an 1 hour and 30 minutes for a Covid test. My APPOINTMENT was at 2:25.. I left at 4:00 without even getting one. The lady at the counter is terribly rude. Out of the 100’s of Covid testing sites in Illinois I picked the worst one with the worst staff.
Great service but slow. Even with an appointment online plan on waiting, we waited over 1 hr just to get in and then another 20min once in the door. The online appointment has you check in when you get there and they call you to enter when they are ready.
I went there, expecting a long wait, but I was wrong. Didnt have to wait long at all. Everyone there is so nice. Very knowledgeable!! I recommend Physicians Immediate Care to everyone!!!!
It was very professional. I had Christina. I was in severe neck and back pain. The precipitation she wrote nailed it. She was very attentive and explained things so that I could understand. I could tell she really cared.
I did not have to wait long. All were friendly and kind. Even though it was just a cut of my little toe they all were supportive
Had an appointment for 4:20 pm for my son with strep throat and was told I could wait in my car. Waited and waited. Received a call at 7:40 asking if I was still in the parking lot as they could now see me. Ummm no sir, I am not still in your parking lot.
Excellent service, they treated me very well and the staff was pleasant to the people and patients.
Everyone was so friendly and caring. They allowed me to wait in my car and called me when it was my turn.
I would give them 5 star but they made me wait in the car for 1 hour, it was my daughter getting test, while waiting in the car with my daughter for 1 hour now I have cov.I even had an appointment they told me some people wait for 2 to 3 hours.
It was a great experience vs going to a hospital to be seen. I really loved that I could schedule online. There was no wait to be seen so that was also good. Alot of places schedule you but then you wait in the waiting room or they put you in a room and then you wait there too. My experience was nothing like this. I will go back again for future needs.
Website isn’t updated. Made it sound like you have to wait until midnight to try to get a spot for a covid test the next day. Decided to call to ask some questions. Staff was super helpful, process is way more accommodating then the website makes it sound. Was in and out, staff was friendly and very helpful.
I was there for a DOT Physical. An there price went up to $145.00. I spent 45 minutes waiting in the front office then when called in all an all the physical only took a total of maybe 15 to 20 minutes with out all the added waiting time. That comes out to $7.25a minute. I will have to find another place even if I have to drive farther.
Two hours in and out. Thank God it was only a sprain. Still had me back at work the next day. With no consideration into the work I do. The doctors seem to treat injuries lightly, with no caution. You would think with a knee sprain every step into recovery would be a priority. Not so. Grandma could of told me ice and take some pills. I am thankfully it was not worst, being the knee and all. The one day would of been friday giving me three days to rest the knee. Would that been too much? Maybe because it was a work injury they treat it differntly. If I was paying they probably would of said stay off the knee.
Kind, compassionate staff. Made my son feel very comfortable. Thorough nurses and doctors. Very clean location. It was our first visit, set up was easy and quick.
The lady at the front desk, didn’t get her name, was the most helpful and sweetest most helpful lady ever. If everyone was like her everyone would become a nurse or work in the field
Great service. Professional and caring staff. Easy to register and verify my insurance. Great alternative to the ER. Im feeling much better. Thanks!
Went for my physical for a new job, and where most places would not give you the time of day, Physicians Immediate Care was very nice and personable from the receptionist to the nurse who was very compassionate to my uncomfortableness of having to strip to my underwear for a desk job and a male MD. So I was completely relieved when a female PA came in to do the physical! So thank you for being very compassionate!
This is a very bad place of service. I have an appointment for physical and drug test for employment. I am here in gown for about 2 hours from my appointment time and no one is showing for my visit. They told me they are backed up and short of stuff. The clinic is closed and I am still waiting in a room. It is 8:30 PM
I had a really great experience , I scheduled an appointment right after midnight, I was taken before the appointment time , very friendly staff, professional , very clean facility very fast service very happy. I will recommend this place to my family and friends.
I called four hours ahead for a same day appointment. Pre-registered and arrived 15 mins early... I still had to wait an hour. Once I was seen, my care was taken seriously but the wait was brutal.
Friendly staff that was knowledge about everything in my procedure. The wait time was a bit longer than I expected but I understand they were busy with other patients.
The office was very efficient and skilled in their profession. Our nurse was very professional, approachable and informative, making for an overall better experience.
Phyllise was amazing, she explained everything she was doing, she was warm welcoming and kind. As well as the physician who’s name I missed ! Thank you ladies . You made my experience great
Great experience at this location. Couldnt be happier. COVID testing here. Waiting was only an hour from start to finish for me and my 2 boys. And it doesnt hurt that were all negative.
Dr Cuk is a top notch physician, he always has my medical needs covered and is always very thorough in any explanation I may need.
Went there for a Covid test. The wait was minimal. The staff were kind and courteous, and since my test was negative, the doctor even suggested some OTC medication to ease my symptoms.
For the second time I visited this place and for the second time I get a rude, uncaring doctor. This doctor is now going to make me look like a liar and just dumb to my job.she does not know how to do her job and has no bedside Manners. Just unacceptable. But the nurse and the receptionist were nice!!!
Received my 1st dose of the COVID vaccine at the Glendale Hts location, this was my first time going to this center. Everyone there was extremely nice and the process was simple. Thank you
Staff was friendly and thorough but the wait was crazy! About 45 min for a drug screening that they knew we were coming too. Only one person was ahead of me because I got there when it opened.
What a great staff and friendly atmosphere.Everyone there was warm and welcoming and process was from beginning to end was awesome. AAA CUSTOMER SERVICE! Explaining every step of appointment procedure. Thank you all staff.👍😁
Are you kidding or are you a Fraudster!!!I visited Physicians Immediate Care at the beginning of October 2020 due to a Covid-19 test. You had sent me an invoice of $220 although my insurance paid to you. I contacted you several times and I provided the document of payment but you are regularly sending invoices every month. If your doing business is like that, I think your business about heath is similar. Everybody should know this information before they visit you so I am writing here. I have attached the last invoice you sent and the proof of payment document. I hope you can see and understand it while everybody sees it. I highly recommend people to avoid your centers.
The staff is very friendly, girl at the front desk greets you with a smile.Waiting time was not that long in the lobby, but once I was in the exam room I waited a long time. On that note. The Dr. Was also very nice.
This team is fantastic. Theyve handled a wide range of issues for me...runners knee, respiratory infections, a sprained neck. And they are polite, prompt, and genuinely interested in patients. I highly recommend them for any non-emergency medical needs.
I lost almost 2h. Had an app and needed to wait more than 1h for a doctor. She examined me briefly, did a strep test and said I need to take ibuprofen. I cant stand on my legs and she told me to buy otc pills that are not helping me! My husband had a visit same day, he spent there 3h (also had and app) His doctor, didnt even examine his lungs and every 10 min was stepping outside to consult with another doctor. Finally when my husband ask if he could get something for the cough she examined his lungs and bronchi and prescribed antibiotic and nasal drops!!!! We will not be back. Bunch of unprofessional people. Stay away. I need to go to another clinic tomorrow to get an antibiotics.
Dr. Eric Torres had horrible bedside manner. He didnt like it my list of medicines Im allergic to. The argued with me on the difference between an allergy and a side effect. He discharged me without medication to treat what I came in for. Told me I could go to the ER or Amita Health. As I got worst leaving the office, I got a ride to the ER and got medication to treat my illness (not just a symptom).
Very friendly staff for the most part but unprofessional and lacking tricks of the trade.I went in for a DOT certification,i got called in by the only unfriendly staff member took two steps and tells me read line 8.I was looking around and finally saw the eye chart. She says can you read that, all this under her breath,no,so you wear glasses?i said i wear reading glasses .Read line 6?I cant, can i try with my glasses? Yes,I read it she says do you want to go ahead ?if you do i have to put down that you need glasses.Ok i read it with the glasses.Takes me into the exam room, take my blood pressure,no response i ask whats my BP,she says 186/90.walks out.Comes back with a gown says put this on and someone will be in to check you im not sure if i heard this right because she was mumbling and obviously did not want to be there.A lady comes in asks me a few questions about my health history i answered and everything was good. She leaves and the girl who originally took my blood pressure comes in and checks it again i ask what is it 150/90. She said the DOT requires 140/90 and walks out.The other lady comes back in she says you need to go to your primary doctor.I said i dont have one thats why i came here, isnt there a doctor here who i can talk to,to prescribe medication. She went online to recommend any place but there. She told me i wiil keep your DOT test for 45 days and come back to check your blood pressure again and if its within range i will give you your dot card. I went back 2 weeks later and told the lady at the reception that i would also like to have lab tests for cholesterol.Ok she quotes me a price of about 300 dollars and says that includes the doctor. She was trying to discourage me by telling me you could check other places for a better price.I said if it includes the doctor ill take it since im here for my dot follow up.They called me in the exam room the same friendly girl takes my BP 170/90.Did not tell me what it was i asked again mumbled something i asked what and in a louder told the #.Now the lady comes in again who recommended any other clinic for a doctor for my blood pressure. She says do you only want a lab test for cholesterol? Heres what we provide gives an array of options for general blood tests, liver, kidneys, etc.i said the girl at the desk already informed me and gave me a price of $300.including the doctor. She says yes and im the doctor(.Well then why couldnt she prescribe the BP medication instead of sending me to another doctor ?) Ok we agree, she looks at my arms and says i dont see too many veins,i said the last time the doctor sent me to the lab for blood draw, she says oh no.Ok the girls will try,two girls came in no luck no blood drawn. After 4 hours they tell me ok we wont torture you any more.I walk out of the exam room and the doctor who wasnt a doctor til the lab test says oh no luck? I had to ask what happens now? She says drink more water and come back tomorrow, and at some point i here her telling the one girl, how about he goes to Quest! That rang a bell and i said yes thats the best alternative. They gave me a paper i went to Quest they drew blood 10 minutes i was out. They told me it would be 4-5 days for results, they called me the next day after from Physicians telling me results were in high cholesterol level you need to see a physician.I said i paid $302 which included blood tests and physician she says let me check ,transfers me to i guess one of the girls that tried to draw blood but couldnt. She tells me the doctor bill was the day you came in for the lab tests. If you want to see a doctor about your lab tests we will charge you$40 as a follow up.But we cannot monitor your cholesterol level on a daily basis.
I made appointment 30 min before I went there as I was in lot of pain. Upon arrival I waited for half hour then told there is 45 min backlog because of... walk ins. Well.. whats the point of 1) giving me appointment2) giving me appointment when they know the time they scheduled is not attainable? I basically stood there like idiot in pain.
Would never go to this location again. Made an appointment that was not honored. Had to wait 3 hours just to be seen for a sport physical. Location is very short staffed and only had 1 physician present.
Dont even waste your time. Had an appointment at 2:30pm. Checked in 15 min prior as the text message prompted. Waited in my car for 1.5hr to finally get a call for me to walk in. Ridiculous why even make an appointment in this case!
The people are friendly and professional, the physician or physician assistant listens and talks to you. Sometimes for a walk-in you might have to wait awhile.
