Had to come here while traveling for my son. We are not from the area and trusted the Google reviews. We had a great and easy experience. The woman working the front desk was so kind and helpful, with a very calm demeanor. A great person to greet you on arrival. The nurse who checked us in was professional and kind, as was the PA who attended to my son. She was thorough with her assessment and discussed all options since we were traveling. This was an excellent choice for an Urgent Care in a pinch.
Staff was courteous and the advice and care received (for reactions to a wasp sting) was good. They made it easy on me and took care of the prescription ordering as well.It did take me 2+ hours of waiting for 15 minutes of care. I was told when I checked in the wait would be “about an hour”. I probably would not have stayed if I knew the wait was going to be that long.
It was very easy to make an appointment online with NextCare Urgent Care on South Golden Road. And with “urgent care”, you never know how long the wait will be. Upon arrival, there were only a few paperwork items to complete and it wasn’t too long before we were admitted to an exam room. The first contact with a nurse (brown hair, glasses) was excellent. She was professional, helpful, friendly, and very efficient. Our next contact was medical professional Fran. She was also friendly, helpful, professional, and very efficient. Fran also was an excellent provider.Overall, we were very pleased with our visit to this urgent care office. These two ladies AND the reception staff provided OUTSTANDING customer service!
I have moved to Colorado recently and do not have a primary care provider yet. I walked into this urgent care and was greeted by a kind, professional, and personable front desk. Then was met by another healthcare professional that took my vitals and X-ray. She was kind and empathetic. She took a brief and thorough assessment. The PA was thorough, kind, professional, Empathetic, and took her time talking to me. I appreciate the time and personal attention that I never expected. She prescribed appropriate medications to help me get better and provided me resources that will help alleviate stress. This was a great experience for feeling so terrible!
I was incredibly disappointed after being persuaded by the Google reviews to come to this urgent care. I made an appointment online, then showed up on time only to wait for 1.5 hours to see the doctor. Once the doctor showed up, I got 3 minutes of his time before being sent home. Complete waste of time and money.
Made my appointment online, they were friendly, fast and efficient and took us right back to a room. They were thoughtful and helpful. Went in for an ear infection on a holiday week. Thankful they were open and could get my kid on meds right away. We will use them again.
Came here for what I thought was altitude sickness, being from a sea-level city. I genuinely thought I was dying. Turns out I was having an anxiety attack instead! The doctor put me at ease and validated the feelings I was having and how it affected my real-life symptoms. Gave me some tips and let me do an EKG to assure that I was totally fine.I was seen relatively fast for being a walk-in :)
I have never been treated so kindly at an Urgent Care. The front desk gal is priceless and Betty was terrific!! The nurse was kind and gentle. If I had to beak my foot, I guess this was the best place to do it at!! Thank you!!
Frankie was incredible with helping me get care quickly, getting me scheduled immediately as a walk in between appointments. Super personable, understanding, and knowledgeable. She also advised me on how to use my insurance to minimize my office visit cost. Best front-of-the-house experience of any urgent care in the area. Thank you Frankie!
Took X-rays, apparently can’t forward them in time for my orthopedic appointment in two days. I made a follow up appointment with an orthopedic surgeon as they told me to do, but when it came time for them to send the x-rays over, they couldnt because their x-ray tech only comes in a few days a week. I told them when I GOT the X-rays I would be seeing a surgeon in the next week. No one thought to inform me of this little caveat. Incredibly disappointing. I wish I went anywhere else.
Came back town with a bad 2nd degree sunburn and was able to schedule a 5:15 pm appointment at 4 pm. I ended up having to wait over half an hour to be seen, but the doctor spent time with me and answered all of my questions and I was happy with the care I received.
Came here because it said they had xray online, got there and was told they didnt have xray. Receptionist and nurse were very friendly and kind. I could hear the male doctor on a personal call as I waited to be seen. Then he seemed annoyed I was there, didnt really listen, said an xray wouldnt matter, which was why my doctor sent me there. Again be was annoyed my doctor would send me there in the first place. He gave me muscle relaxers and sent me away. Perhaps he is the same doctor from the other reviews who seems not to listen to and/or treat patients.
Started vacation in the mountains already battling a severe cold, and the altitude made it go down hill fast. Was a bit of a drive down out of mountains, but they got me in 1.5 hrs after I called, and was out the door after about an hour in the office. Very nice PA took care of me, got me some medications and on my way. Glad they were available!
I went into NextCare for a bee/wasp sting or spider bite. The PA looked at it ordered me a steroid shot and some cream and sent me on my way. Said to continue doing what I had been doing for the incident taking Benedryl. I was up every 2 hours with itching and the red spot has continued to move further down my arm. I set up another appointment with them to see a doctor again, only to go there and the doors were locked with a note stating there was not enough staff to be open. I wasted all that time filling out the information online and going over there only to see that I could not see anyone for my problem. Hours wasted for nothing.
I had sinus pain and pressure with congestion and drainage that had been going on for over a month. I made an appointment after work at 4pm. I was in and out and went next door to the King Sooper’s pharmacy and picked up my prescription before 5 pm. It took less than an hour to get medical attention and feel better.
This is one of the best experiences I’ve had with urgent care. Considering I was visiting from Florida where I’ve had maybe 6 occasions to use urgent care, I was very uplifted by my reception by Frankie at the front desk. My provider, Betty, and her nurse were especially engaged and professional!
This NextCare urgent care is amazing. The staff is so kind from check in to check out. It was an easy process as a new patient in the system.
Went in 10 days ago to get stitches, took very good care of me. Only thing I would say is not everyones a drug addict so dont be so quick to judge, but other than that I would recommend this location ❤️
If I could rate negative stars, I would. I’ve had two instances at this urgent care with one misdiagnosis of a sprained ankle that was a severe break requiring plates and screws. My husband was told to just walk it off and maybe check with orthopedic after a week if it still was bothering him. the most recent instance where my son should’ve been sent to the ER for a surgical procedure and he was instead sent home with antibiotics. The PCP told us antibiotics would’ve not helped at all. This group’s medical staff are completely incompetent. Drive the extra 20 mins and go elsewhere.
Everyone was so nice! The check-in process was very easy using my smart phone! Also, Dr Steer, FNP, took excellent care of my son! She was so nice, caring, very knowledgeable, & very good at explaining things! After looking at my sons throat, which she said looked strepy, she decided not just trust the false strep test, so she sent it out for culture just make sure! She was really awesome in that she took time to explain things to my 13 yr old son & not just to me! She also took time answer all of our questions!Thank you!
I feel the visit was inneficient and all symptoms were not addressed. Additionally they did not take notice to this being my second visit for lung problems; with the first one resulting in an abnormal ekg and trip to hospital. I think there is something more going on here with my lungs and she didnt want to be bothered with it. Disappointing as the last time I was here the doctor was very thorough and cared to dive deeper.
I will not return to this NextCare for the PA there would not give me a steroid shot. When i have a rash all over my head and chest, so i have to suffer for a couple more days waiting for the oral steroid to take affect. When in the past i have gotten the shot and oral steriods. And my blood pressure is high from the irritating pain. He treated the last two ear infection and I had allergic reaction where I have scares on my ears and had to return within a day or two to see a different Doctor.. I saw him after I was traumatized by my ex husband and he just tested me for STDs and the exsteam high blood pressure from the incident and sent me home. I came back to see an actual Doctor that was helpful. I am in a lot of pain still with high blood pressure. And the rash has not improved yet. I should of refused his care when I saw him. I have no trust he can help me at this point.
Ive used nextcare for years. Never have I been charged so much for a visit! My son who currently is uninsured was seen for a swollen finger due to an infected cuticle. We waited for 45 minutes to be seen though we had scheduled an appt. The Dr took one look. Said its an infection, soak it and wrote an Rx for antibiotics. I dont think we spent even 10 minutes with her.Our bill came to $330.00 !!!!! What did I even pay for? Health care in America has become ridiculous!!!! I will ever go back there. 😕
Very nice staff, very helpful. Patient WiFi needs improvement since we are asked to complete paperwork via the web. Slow access made this challenging.
It was busy this evening and with only one doctor on there was a bit of a wait. However she and the nurse and other staff could not have been more pleasant and professional. I brought in my 18 month old and the doctor was absolutely wonderful. She and the nurse treated my daughter with gentleness and genuine concern. I’m so happy we found this office and we will consider this our go-to for urgent care from now on.
I had an Excellent experience with a very knowledgeable health care practitioner. I felt I could trust and understand her explanations and diagnoses regarding my health. I highly recommend this great resource for your health.
What a joke this is people health you guys are dealing with seriously I have a ducking growth the size of a damn golf ball behind my ear and Im told its a lymphnode and given some antibiotics then had to pay $50 for really no help at all its clearly not a lymphnode. It shouldve been lanced and drained but no one wants to actually get there hands dirty there. What a disgrace to the medical field. A lawsuit is what this place deserves
I visited this location early December for a burn I had gotten. I was put into care with the Nurse Practitioner. If you go in, and the nurse practitioner walks into your room, just leave.I didnt go to school for medicine or anything related to that, so I made the mistake of trusting that this nurse practitioner had knowledge of burns. I remember I asked her if it was serious that the burn location was a very white color and had absolutely no feeling. She said thats just what bad sun burns look like and that it would be better in 2-3 weeks if I dressed it with some ointment. I went in again 3 weeks later because it still didnt look much better. She said she needed to check the blood vessels (I spoke to someone who has actual medical knowledge and this is not a thing) and she took a dry gauze and scraped my burn. It was so painful!I went to a real doctor a few days after and it turns out it was not a severe sunburn, it was a very obvious 3rd degree burn that needed surgery. Do not trust the nurse practitioner that works here. She does not know what she is doing. She should have been able to easily identify a 3rd degree burn. Unfortunately, I walked around with a large open wound for 3 weeks due to her mistake.
Everyone was super nice but I do wish she had just started me on the treatment since I was exposed
Had a great experience overall. All of the staff was great. Shout out to Frankie at reception, who was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. Thanks for providing great care!
I’ve been to this urgent care a few times. It’s a great place is you can’t get into the doctor and you need something looked at right away. Most the staff and doctors have been great, there was only one male doctor who was demeaning and acted like he had all the answers and anything I had to say was utter nonsense. For that I docked one star, but don’t let it deter you in getting something checked out if you can’t see your own doctor! Most the staff have been excellent and kind.
Had a persistent cough. My general practitioner stood me up for a telehealth appt after seeing her 2 weeks prior for a cough that she didn’t prescribe anything for. Easily scheduled time in advance online; and front desk, PA, and physician staff were amazingly friendly and quick. I would 100% recommend
Wait wasnt too bad, about 20min for a Wednesday, mid-morning.Doctor was great, answered my questions and gave me solutions.
Staff was great from checking in through entire appointment. Quick, efficient and kind.
I went in with an anxiety attack and Frankie at the front was AMAZING! Shared her history with anxiety and was 250% helpful. I would return just for Frankie she is a gem
I had my worst experience of my life here in 2022. Roughly a week prior, I came here for blood in my urine. The doctor diagnosed it as a UTI and prescribed medicine. All the staff were polite and helpful. When I had abdominal pain a week later, I returned, thinking it might be connected. The nurse explained that, due to public health restrictions at the time, I had to wait outside while it was snowing and could not check-in in person. She was incredibly rude, acting as if my request to sit inside while it was snowing outside was asinine. As I was checking-in on my phone in the parking lot, the pain became unbearable, and I was unable to finish checking-in. Due to the challenges faced during the online check-in and the severity of the pain, I decided to seek care elsewhere. Between the pain and the cold, I genuinely thought the parking lot would be the final thing I saw while waiting for my ride. Thankfully, it turned out to be only a kidney stone.
Everything was great good competent staff very caring and concerned about my health!!! Then I tried picking up my prescription for a nebulizer and cant find them anywhere might have one lined up for tomorrow hopefully after spending what seems like hours on the phone
Excellent 👌 care! The staff and Dr are wonderful, extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this facility.
All Around this Urgent Care was on point. Front desk employee was soo nice and the care given was 100%
All staff—receptionist, x-ray technician, and PA—were kind and compassionate, pleasant and professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Check-in process was easy, simple, and brief. Post-exam care instructions were clear and concise. I received excellent medical care and heartily recommend NextCare Urgent Care Golden.
I had a very positive experience while at the care center with great empathy for why I was there. However, the follow-up was terrible. I was there to get a blood draw. The results took forever, even though the purpose of the blood draw was to find out if I needed follow-up care (a different urgent care at a different time got the results to me much faster). In addition, despite telling them that I needed the results sent to my care provider, and my care provider calling TWICE to get them, they were never sent. What is the point of a blood draw if I cant get follow-up care???
We entered and were immediately welcomed by Frankie. She was amazingly helpful and understanding! She patiently helped me through the online registration process and quietly reassured me that the dr on call (Adam) was the best! Frankie set the tone for a very positive first experience at NextCare for me! I highly recommend this place!!!!
Surprised to see any positive reviews on this place. We have been financially impacted from taking our kids to this location on two occasions and will never visit another Nextcare facility again. This place is a healthcare profit engine and will improperly refer to you ER facilities (on a weekend) for basic childhood illnesses (i.e. pinkeye), that will unnecessarily result in multi-thousand $ ER bills. Nextcare will charge you hundreds of $ when they provided zero treatment or examination. Contacting their customer service involves several call attempts waiting 45-60mins before reaching an agent. Then youll be forwarded to a voicemail of a single liaison to handle complaints/issues with complete uncertainly on issue resolution. This is not a well run business and I am afraid they are going to lead to healthcare bills that bankrupt folks in the community and/or result to negative healthcare outcomes.
Great friendly staff. I’ve been coming here for a few years and this group is by far my favorite. I felt taken care of.
I was traveling in Denver and had a terrible cold/respiratory infection. Needed to save my vacation and enjoy myself. The clinic was easy to book an appointment, staff was great and efficient. Felt better the next day!
I received excellent care from Leandra!! She was so very kind and compassionate! I really appreciate her help!!!
Everyone I interacted with made it a pleasurable experience! The front desk staff was knowledgeable and friendly and Dr. Brown was efficient and helpful during my care. After a previous horrible experience with a difference Urgent Care company, I was reluctant to go back to one and NextCare changed my mind! Seriously, thank you to this staff who helped me in my time of need!
In and out within an hour. Had a nasty laceration on my foot. They cleaned, examined and glued. No stitches needed.
Very friendly and good to their clients. They made me feel cared for and wanted to help my healing process. Not too slow and they take Medicade which I have so much respect for.
Visited this clinic with pink eye. Dr didn’t look into the eyes even when asked and referred us to a hospital. The hospital we were referred to didn’t have the services they referred us for. Had to go to a 2nd hospital. Ended up costing thousands of $ and ended up getting eye drops that we had asked for originally at urgent care. We have had difficulty getting through to billing department and asked to speak with site manager who never called back. Very frustrating and costly experience.
We visited the Nextcare in Golden and everyone from the receptionist to the PA we’re very friendly and helpful. I would especially like to shout out the front desk receptionist for going above a beyond helping us get our insurance information inputted. We were in and out of there in less that 30 minutes and received top quality care. It is nice to have this type of place available when doctor offices are closed. Thank you so much!
Were told we could remove stitches at no cost, but refused to honor it. We had to call and argue to get what we were promised.
Staff was extremely friendly and had us in and out in no time but made sure we were taken care of
Dr Jennifer Brown is an excellent provider, both kind and caring. Both the front receptionist and the person who did my vitals and X-rays were excellent also. Would definitely recommend this Urgent Care in Golden CO.
PA was great. Got all the medications right. Adam does a super job!
Timely service. I got I quickly and felt like the provider was knowledgeable and thorough. She communicated to me in detail. Great urgent care experience.
I went to this location while I was visiting Colorado for the weekend with very limited time before a wedding. It was my first time away from my baby and I ended up with mastitis and needed antibiotics. The check in process was all through a QR code and very straight forward. EVERYONE WAS SO NICE AND HELPFUL. I always expect the worst when I go to an urgent care but I honestly had such a positive experience. The doctor was very empathetic of my new mama issue and very professional. I would highly recommend this location!
I hada sinus infection. Considering how I just dropped in they got me taken care of quickly.
Visiting here in vacation and the wife became sick. Chose this place based on the reviews. Staff was wonderful and we were in and out promptly. Glad we chose this place!! Thanks for helping us!!
Let me start by saying that everyone I met with there was very kind and pleasant. Front desk, nurse, and Doctor. However, I came in after a snowboarding accident where I told them I felt something pop and my ankle was swollen to twice the size as normal. They took xrays and concluded they were negative. They sent me home with a small ankle brace and told me it was a classic sprain and to walk on it as much as possible to help the healing. I really felt something wasnt right and made an appt with ortho for the next week. I got to ortho after trying to walk on my ankle as instructed for a week. They took a look at the xrays from urgent care and right away pointed out the fracture they missed. They took their own xrays and an MRI... tallus fracture, grade 3 tear of LCL and syndismosis. I was in surgery the next week and now have a whole bunch of new hardware in me. And this urgent care called it a classic sprain and sent me walking on my way. I will never go here again!
Easy to make an appointment. Facility was clean and staff friendly. Minimal waiting time on a Wednesday pm. The exam was thorough and check out a breeze.
I have always had a great experience at this office. The staff is amazing and very compassionate. I always feel like their most important patient. On my most recent visit I had to take my toddler son in for a cut/stitches and it was close to closing time. We would have had to go to the ER but even with only 10min left in the business day they didn’t turn me away. They took care of us and stayed late. Thank you!!
Doctor was friendly and to the point(loved her). Our family (2 and 5 year old with our daughter) were in the next room for the same reason as us. Our daughter needed us to watch the 2 year old, but the nurse told us we had to go up front. Check-in desk told us we had to wait outside(now with the baby). The checkout was problematic, my card was declined because she didnt tell me in time not to input my pin(system flaw), had to start over. Sorry, not coming back for more.
I had a great experience !!! My gosh the doctor and nurse were so good so helpful. They took really good care of me and I was very sick. And I really appreciate their work. I cannot say enough good words for those people!!!I wish you have wonderful holidays !!!
You are billed extra outside of what your insurance will pay. They contract doctors who bill separately for their time. The doctor charged over $900 to my insurance for a 30 minute appointment, separate and in addition to the regular facility charge. You will have to pay more for the doctors separate billing. The prices are extra because its not like a normal doctor visit, they contract out services and you will receive a bill on top of what your insurance pays.On top of the extra expense, the demeanor and bedside manner of the doctor and staff I experienced was very poor. Ive used walk in clinics for other services and I also see regular doctors for a variety of specialties, and have never experienced the lack of care or concern they showed, or been billed for the extra charges they add.On this visit, I went in for flu like symptoms and deep cough that lasted over 2 weeks, I was getting concerned it was not resolving. They scoffed at this concern, minimized the issue and told me I had what everyone else had and the best advice was to take zinc and chew garlic. They said that my symptoms and concerns were caused by what I hear from the news. The doctor that saw me had a hacking cough and was having a hard time talking to me. I paid the regular doctor fee on my insurance and was told that it was covered and would not be billed emergency visit.Later I got a bill for over $220 from the doctor. They did very little for me and this was my portion of the doctors billing. I was billed two separate charges, one for the facility and one for the doctor. The whole time I felt talked down to and the attitude and actions of the people working there were highly unprofessional and I was charged more than other regular doctor visit I have had. After speaking to the claims department they told me they contract with doctors and charge differently for that than if you go to a regular doctor.Ive gone back and verified the costs Ive paid though my insurance and can tell you they charge you much more than any other doctor visit I have had. It is billed after the visit from a 3rd party billing agency, which they do not tell you at the check in. I also felt the care was subpar, on my visit they seem disinterested, not engaged and was treated like I was an interruption.
I will always recommend NextCare urgent care. They are quick! Everyone is super nice! I love them. For all your urgent care needs use NextCare I’m not even kidding!
I went into this urgent care on 1/24 to be seen for flu like symptoms. I had a sore throat, cough, congestion l, nightsweats, the works. Not only did it take forever to be seen but the room attended was condescending and took my vitals wrong. Then when i was seen by the physician assistant he seemed more concerned with getting me out of the room then helping. He told me nothing was wrong and besides a bacterial culture nothing could be done. He did a quick look in my ears and told me I was fine. I was obviously not fine but was too sick and tired to ask him why he treated me this way. I made an appointment with the little clinic the next day and found I had an ear infection the nurse practioner said was to severe to miss ( the guy at next care didnt even care to look in my ears when using the tool) an eye infection, strep throat and fluid in my lungs. I am deeply disappointed with this facility the staff and the low level if care. They obviously have no care for anyone who comes through the door. We are just $$$ to them. I would give 0 if I could. Strep can go to your heart! Shame on you next care.
Everyone was very pleasant and I was in and out quickly. It was a breath of fresh air dealing with a nice group of people and it didnt have to wait for hours.
Worst Urgent Care experience I have ever encountered. First I had to pay $125 out of pocket for what should have been covered. Then they proceeded to only test me for covid and ignored what I had told them about my medical history. They told me I was fine and just needed to go home and get some rest. After pleading with them to actually do something they agreed to take a culture test which would take 2-3 days. It has now been well over 3 days and they have still not bothered to contact me. I called the nextcare number and after waiting on hold for 20+ minutes they said the lab was probably backed up ( clearly just a guess). Meanwhile all my symptoms have gotten progressively worse and I am going to be out of work for 5 + days and counting. I would recommend going literally anywhere else than here.
The staff here is always amazing, kind, knowledgeable and wonderful. We brought our toddler here last night after he fell off his bike and Nicole and Terry were so kind and wonderful with him, he actually really enjoyed being there and forgot about his scrapes. Thanks, NextCare!
Out of state. Visiting daughter. Symptom of infection. Came to care facility. Registered on-line. Waited in vehicle less than 5 minutes. Received phone call from nurse. She met me at the door. Got vitals taken. She was pleasant, efficient, competent. Gave urine sample and was given a patient room. Physician’s Assistant came in the room in less than 5 minutes. He listened to my description of what my concerns were, asked questions for clarification, told me the lab results and his recommendations for treatment. He also was pleasant, efficient, and competent. It was a very comfortable experience. I felt heard, respected, and efficiently cared for. Being from out of state, it was especially appreciated!
One of the easiest medical visits Ive had in years. Filled in a couple of forms online and got an appointment in about an hour. They took care of what I needed. Definitely recommended !!!
The medical staff were fantastic - took time to explain my injury, answer my questions and patch me up properly. Also, very thorough with next steps for home care. Only complaint: the receptionist overslept didnt show up. The medical staff did an excellent job trying to move people through. But this is the second time I have been to this clinic that the receptionist overslept and caused delays and scrambling. I think NextCare care should prior punctuality based on their walk-in business model. I appreciate the efforts of everyone who did show up.
Super friendly and pretty quick. I was able to make an appointment online before they opened on a Saturday morning and was able to be seen pretty much right away. The medical assistant was super nice and explained everything he was doing to record vitals. The NP was thorough and was able to help my son pretty quickly. I wouldnt hesitate to go back again should the need arise.
Rebecca and team took SUCH great care of me. I cut my finger and had to get 15 stitches - the way the team cared for me and did everything thoughtfully and with such care made me feel so at ease. I would recommend this Urgent Care to anyone and everyone looking for a amazing experience!
Although the staff member was polite when explaining that they are out of rapid tests, the fact that I was the first appointment of the day and their online appointment software doesn’t align with their availability of this service is a huge inconvenience and annoyance. Other providers (similar in size and locations available) have a far better system by which they book appointments such that you don’t have to drive 45 minutes away for an appointment only to not be able to deliver the desired service.
In and out in under an hour and paid a flat rate due to my insurance, which was incredible. Nurse & Doc were great. Will be my new go-to ugent care! Worth the hour drive for me.
I wish all healthcare visits could be this great. Went on Saturday morning. Virtually no wait time, with much appreciated remote check-in process and strict yet friendly COVID protocols. Ray (physicians assistant?) and Dr. Giordano were friendly, professional, and prompt. I was in and out in less than an hour, and they set my mind at ease and thoroughly explained the problem I went in for. Great experience and great people.
The most cold, rude, and lacking in compassion front desk worker Ive ever dealt with. I had issues getting my insurance information, and the ladies at the front were beyond impossible to work with or talk to, like I was immediately the enemy. The blaring Friends episode over the TV did nothing to help the situation. Would give 0 stars if I could. I was TURNED AWAY from urgent care, and told my insurance is out of network even though Denver Health Medical Plan is listed on their website as in-network, but they were too lazy to even look. I should have known by the state of the exterior entryway to avoid even stepping foot inside. I dont have much experience seeking healthcare- and came in admittedly scared and not sure where to turn for help, but I left knowing that this is absolutely NOT the place to find it.
I had a really long wait for my stitches (2.5 hours). Then again, it was a Monday. Overall, the experience was good, the process was easy, and the staff was very friendly!UPDATE 03/26/2019I went a week later to get my stitches removed. I was treated very quickly compared to my last visit. And friendly as always.
Fantastic experience--I needed a rapid covid test for extenuating circumstances. I made an appointment, arrived 30 min early anticipating a long line. There was none and they got me started almost as soon as I arrived. They conducted as much of the visit as possible over the phone/in the parking lot. The facility was clean, the visit was incredibly efficient.
The staff was respectful, kind and extremely helpful with my insurance. When it came to my broken toe, I was seen in a timely manner, was made very comfortable and the x-rays were done carefully as to not cause more pain. The staff and provider were wonderful and I would definitely go back and recommend NextCare to family/friends. Thank you!
This is a great place to for medical care when its too urgent to wait until your regular doctor can see you, but isnt bad enough to warrant a trip to the ER. I made my appointment on the mobile website, and was seen pretty quickly after I arrived. They were able to do lab work on-site and had the results within 10 - 15 minutes. Everyone here was friendly and professional, and the provider spent plenty of time addressing all of my concerns. They take most major insurance, and my copay was very reasonable.
Really think twice about going to this location. I have a swollen red left foot and cant walk. I was referred to the lakewood location on colfax and wadsworth. Since I was limping they said go to the Golden location they can run an X-Ray on your foot. I show up here and receptionist and Nurse were very kind. The PA (Physcian assistant) shows up has no empathy looks at my foot gives me 2 options. Go to the ER to see if I have a blood clot/infection OR get some antibiotics. He Didnt even examine my foot, No x - Ray, nothing. Paid $160 For A guy to walk in not even for 3 minutes to tell me he didnt know what I had. To go to the ER and they would better assist. And what about my money? Now I have to go to the ER and spend more money there. Horrible service. The PA ADAM is not there for the people. Would not recommend this location.
Went in for a TB test. They asked I return within a time period and wrote down the dates on my form. Came in that day and they told me it was wrong and to come back. Didnt acknowledge the mistake when I came back in for the 4th and final (thank god) time. Would have been great for someone to say they made a mistake. Spent two days thinking I was going crazy and made several unnecessary trips.
First experience was quite good - doctor was very personable and gentle, yet efficient. Very short wait time. The follow-up call is quite considerate. Great with running co-insurance prior to being seen. Shortcomings: the TV is loud (as it is with many waiting rooms).I did call in more recently to see if a simple procedure could be done to remove metal from my finger and the front desk staff was very rude about not being able to do anything - I went to another urgent care and it took them 7 minutes to do the entire procedure. This was definitely not comparable to my first experience in-person at the facility.
About a year ago, I was really sick when I checked in here. I couldn’t eat much, terrible night sweats, and uncomfortable stomach. This was going on for a month, and my regular doc office said I had bad constipation. It just didn’t seem right because I’ve never had constipation like how I felt and it wouldn’t have lasted that long. This place inspected with actual testing and found something wrong. Even though they didn’t know it was, their tests at least confirmed there was something wrong and that started me on the search of eventually having my appendix removed which was the actual problem all along. So I am grateful for the testing so I could get on the path to getting well! I encourage people that what I have learned is no one knows how you feel more than yourself except for God. Yes the docs mean well but they aren’t you 24/7. If something doesn’t feel right keep on it until you get well!
I was in so much ear pain when I walked into the urgent care. The nurse and dr were very experienced with my ear problem. It felt so wonderful to finally be finally able to hear again and not have any ear pain! The waiting room and care room was extremely clean also. I felt safe
Dr Nielsen is amazing. Shes fast, thorough and sharp as a tack. Ok, That was a Cake lyric, but she really is. I was in and out very quick and had my issue resolved.
Great care, and customer service. It is rare to be treated so well by medical people. Ray (med tech) was awesome. I felt like the staff actually cared, which was hugely different than ER experiences Ive had. I would definitely use this facility again, and recommend it to anyone.
The staff here is amazing and super nice but I have never seen a company run so bad in my life. Ive never had a phonecall answered by them and when I got my flu shot they said Id be $20. Three days later I get a bill for $65 and have been on hold with their billing line for over an hour. Im never coming back if their company cant even answer a call.
Probably the most pleasant experience Ive ever had at an urgent care. I came in and was the only person there. The receptionist processed my paperwork very quickly and I had barely gotten back to my seat when the nurse called me back. The whole process was very streamlined and everyone was very friendly and polite. I will be returning next time I feel sickly.
Updated review: Previously I gave 2 stars because I couldnt reach anyone on the phone for questions after the appointment. Calls go into some never-ending hold at their Arizona call center. I had to go back down to the office and check in and then they took care of my question quickly. They also gave me the extension I can use to get in for future calls. Overall I think they are friendly and provide great service.
This is a very welcoming urgent care facility with a very professional staff. Check-in was quick and easy, response time was exceptional, and the care from the nurse practitioner Ms. Greene was spot on. She was attentive to my questions, offered her best advice, and prescribed the necessary medications to heal my injured arm.
First time here with my son who needed stitches. Ray was really good with my seven year old. He explained every step in detail to him which helped him stay calm.Bill did a great job with my sons stitches. We were only there for a little over an hour.
Such efficient and professional care. Thank you for making me feel a lot better than I look! Rebecca Nielsen, PA-C, is truly one of Golden’s top providers. Other staff members, Luanne and Denise, are outstanding in their fields, too.
This office is just outstanding! The doctors are genuine and personable. You feel SO WELL cared for, and not like in a rotating door situation. 10/10 everytime.Update: Jan 20th 2021, Ashley was amazing. This is the first time Ive had a doctor/physician my age that made me feel so comfortable and not judged.
The entire staff did such a great job! Normally it’s only one person of the typical three that you see who does a good job, but I can honestly say they were all great. Dr Holly was very clear, concise, knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. I am normally tough to please, but I could not be happier. I highly recommend NextCare.
I was impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. My daughter felt at ease as they introduced themselves, explained things to her, and treated her with great kindness. The place was very clean, and while we waited for the doctor she could play with toys, books, and even a doctor kit. Definitely a place I would visit again and highly recommend!!
I went in because I was experiencing major pain in my spine near my neck. They looked at it for me and suggested the solution. It was a very easy in and out experience. What really made the difference was that my attending doctor called later in the day on her own accord to see how I was doing. Everyone was sweet and the facility was clean and comfortable.( I went to Golden office.) Thank you guys so much!
Save yourself the trouble and money, go somewhere else! I brought a family member here from out of state for strep throat hoping to get antibiotics. After a $350 bill the only recommendation given was rest and fluids. Four days later my family member returned home and to their doctor, turns out he was moments away from an ER visit. This place was negligent in not prescribing antibiotics. Overall an unnecessary and incredibly painful experience for my visiting family member.
Ive used NextCare providers multiple times and they are always exceptional! They actually listen to you. My provider was happy to take some extra time to deal with a preexisting condition and prescribe a medication refill until my PCP could see me.
I went in for clogged hearing and ringing in my ears. The PA looked for 10 seconds and told me there was nothing wrong. I went and got a second opinion at a different clinic. Turned out my ear was infected and I was prescribed drops to fix the problem. NextCare is a good place to go to get rushed out and misdiagnosed by a PA.
5 Star Visit Today. The staff was helpful and worked quickly. I highly suggest setting an appointment online and doing the paper work from your computer if you can. The PA knew exactly what to do and what to recommend. Walked out of the office happy and confident with my diagnosis and recovery plan!
Went in for lower back pain. Best urgent care facility Ive ever been to. Ray was fantastic. Even brought me a chair to sit in while I was standing at the counter. I saw Holly and she was great. Super nice and understanding. Got me in and out in no time.
Im not sure about this operation, I checked in 2.5 hours ago and am still sitting here.... I was supposed to get a call on the results for a strep test, no results 4 days later. So they told me to come in now thats its spread to pink eye.The doctor was very nice and understanding, I thought she was great. She has a lot on her plate being the only doctor in the clinic, but I thought she was very professional and knowledgeable. The low rating is because they should at least tell you when you walk in that theres a 2+ hour wait.People are understanding of they at least know whats going on. Even the option to call the patient and say well call you when its almost your turn.Yes, there were only 2 people here when I walked in.I have never in my whole life been in any medical place that was this slow to see anyone. Some people have walked out and said they were going to other places.Follow-up one week later...I arrived and specifically asked how long is the wait. I was told less than 30 minutes.... I asked again and pointed out the people sitting in the lobby. She said they were not in line. That was a lie....Now 2 hours later Im still here and I heard the doctor tell the reception lady to tell people theres at least a two hour wait and for people to consider going to Arvada.A few people came in after those orders and the lady never told the people it was going to be two hours. This is a management issue....
This is the 2nd time I have been here. Staff is friendly and competent. I am glad that they take my insurance. When you know that you need something to be addressed quickly, it is good to know that this place exists. Its worth the drive across town to be seen when you know that by the time you get to your regular Dr office, that you normally wait weeks for, that here you can be seen before you have a bigger problem develop and can speed up the healing. The Nurse Practitioner Patty was very helpful and I appreciate her excellent service and attention to the issue.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff from front to back. Had a bit of a wait walking in without appointment, would recommend setting one up before going.
From check in to check out it was a great experience. The doctor was extremely nice and listened to everything I had to say. She was very knowledgeable as well. I would definitely recommend this urgent Care!!
Rebecca Nielsen, PA-C... genuinely did an amazing job and really made me feel like she cared and was incredibly attentive during a long, scary day that landed me in urgent care. She was so thoughtful and understanding. Couldnt thank her more. Shes A++++
Staff was very attentive and concerned with my injury.
I went in for a rapid Covid test, which thankfully came back negative. Still, I had high fever, so they tested me for flu and some other things—all of which were negative. Although I had to wait quite some time as a walk in, the care I received was thorough and nurturing. Ray could see that I was feeling really cold, so he brought me a blanket. That gesture made all the difference. Dianna, the PA, was knowledgeable and took time to explain my care in understandable terms. Would definitely recommend.
Ashley was absolutely amazing. She answered any and all questions I had. She made me feel super comfortable and had great bedside manner. I left feeling like she was going to try to help me figure out my issue anyway she could. Very pleased with her service and professionalism.
I brought my 16 month old son in on Saturday and was so happy with the Dr who helped us ! He went above and beyond for my son. The people at the front desk were sweet our nurse was amazing . The Dr called his wife who is a pediatric Dr to double check his diagnosis! I thought that was so cool ! I highly recommended this location. They are amazing!!
Was just in to have a pain in my lungs when I take a deep breath checked out. Lung X-ray was clear, Covid test negative. Was prescribed medication, however nothing is sick about me. It dawned on me, I could be having a muscle spasm, as I’ve been prone to them in the past when under stress. I have a question for the PA who saw me... No way to dial direct to the location I was seen at. Call center located in Phoenix.
How hard is it to communicate? I made an appointment and still ended up waiting TWO hours to be seen. I know were in the middle of a pandemic and things are wacky, but just TELL US if youre running behind! You send 600 texts to remind me of an appointment, why not send me an update when its gonna take a while rather than leave me sitting in a dang parking lot waiting for hours wondering why the hell I even made an appointment in the first place? Its. SO. Simple. Just TALK. TO. US. I cant understand how weve managed to find water on the moon but still havent figured out how to coordinate schedules. Be better.Nurses were awesome, though.
Rebecca Neilson and staff provided rxcellent immrdiate, professional and thorough care for me after an accident at home. This will be our “Go to” Urgent Care facility from now on. These observations were subsequently passed on to my PrimaryCare Physician at New West Physicians.
I came here with what turned out to be strep throat (diagnosed by someone else). I signed in, and was taken to a room and was trying to put myself into the queue, but the site kept crashing. I proceeded to sit in the room alone while the techs sat outside eating and talking about Boardwalk Empire. I eventually got so tired of waiting that I didn’t want to pay them to help me anyway, so I left and went somewhere else.I was admitted with a “soar” throat. Are you kidding me, guys?
Excellent experience. Brought my child for a covid test with a 1:30 appointment. Triaged us over the phone while we sat in the car. By 1:35, test was done. Results 15 minutes later. Out by 2pm and everybody who worked here was fantastic.
Wait was longer than theyd originally stated (only one person ahead of me, told 10-15 minutes, waited about 30), but I didnt have to leave my car. They took all my info over the phone and did the exam at my vehicle, then sent the prescription directly to my pharmacy so I didnt have to drop it off. Overall, very convenient and relatively quick
Update: Apparently they billed the wrong insurance company. I provided my insurance info through their app, and they did not bill that company, but somehow theres an insurance adjustment on the bill, but the wrong company and wrong amount. They still do not answer their phone. So I had my insurance company reach out to them - they said they would send my insurance company the claim and then never did. I also visited the location again in person and the front desk person said she sent a message requesting my bill be updated with the appropriate information. Again the bill still has not been adjusted. This is both fraudulent and incompetent. My blue cross blue shield representative said she has never seen anything like this and incorrectly billing an insurance company I dont even have has some legal implications. Anyways, AVOID this place at all costs. It looks like Ill be out $117.I was charged $117 for a covid test in Feb 2022. Covid testing is covered under the cares act and is supposed to be free. This is the second test I had at this location. The first in fall 2020 I did not ever receive a bill for. I asked when getting the second test to make sure covid testing was still free/covered by the cares act - they said yes. I spent over an hour on hold Friday trying to get ahold of their billing department without success. If you have covid symptoms - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR TESTING or wait it out at home - but this def was not worth $117. I only did this to be a good citizen and make sure if I had it, I did not infect anyone else. I now regret that choice. Also my insurance just has a $10 copay for urgent care visits....so the max I should have been billed even if COVID tests werent free under the cares act is $10. This is ridiculous - still havent gotten ahold of billing. On hold for 2 hours and 25 min today and then their phone system hung up on me.
It was my first visit to the NextCare group in Golden. The staff was wonderful. They were very warm and personable from admission to discharge. All of the staff that we had contact with were amazing and the care for my injury was right on. I absolutely recommend this urgent care!
I have been to this facility twice and both times I have encountered minimal wait times, prompt service, and very friendly staff. The online appt scheduling is easy and convenient. I love having this facility as an option when I’m sick and my primary care physician is just too busy and can’t “squeeze me into their schedule” that day! 5 stars!!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! If your case is anything other than a minor cold, they do not provide you any service and severely overcharge. I was really unimpressed with the care I received from the doctor, she did not listen to me and provided a very blanket diagnosis, even though I told her I was experiencing none of the symptoms that lined up with that diagnosis, besides pain. I was charged $160 for ten minutes of time with the doctor who only asked surface level questions and still didnt even listen to my answers. I will never return to one of these facilities and will advise everyone I know to stay away from them. Its highway robbery and a scam. Their customer service in the billing department is not helpful at all either. Save your money, go somewhere else. (I would give zero stars, but turns out that is not an option. How convenient, I wish not paying was an option too).
The entire staff was friendly. I walked in and was seen within 30 minutes. Within an hour and a half I was x-rayed, told my ski accident caused a fracture in my arm (Ive since seen an orthopedic surgeon who said the same thing - so the Doctor was spot on), had a splint made for me, and I was sent on my way with my arm in a sling.Thank you!
Worst experience ever in the US. Did 1 anti gen and PCR and the cost was $399.They upsell the testing with a doctor consultation which I didn’t ask for. Cost of visit was also not communicated. A simple Covid test became an urgent visit with doctor consultation.Report was incomplete without ID number. Just the name and date of birth. Cannot be used for travel. We arrive at 4:23pm and left at 6pm with no body in the line! Unbelievable.
We were the first appointment of the day. The staff arrived late. They let us and a large number of other people who followed wait in the cold. There is nothing “urgent” about this urgent care facility. They don’t honor their appointments. If you need urgent help, and even if you have an appointment with them, go somewhere else.
My fiance and I visited this clinic while travelling through Golden. There was no wait to be seen and the technician who took my vitals was professional and courteous. The Nurse Practitioner was very thorough and down to earth. She spent a lot of time with us discussing our visit. Both of them went above and beyond for urgent care providers. They received a 4/5 rating because the receptionist left much to be desired. She was very spacey and I kept having to go back to the check-in counter because she forgot to ask me information. When I returned a follow- up call from the technician the next day, she assumed I was a personal friend and was rude until she understood that I was a patient. I was then promptly put on hold for 20+ minutes.
The entire process was very efficient. Filled out paperwork on online. Staff were very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone.
This NextCare Urgent Care in Golden is fantastic. Everyone is personable. The Doctor and xray technician (sorry, Im bad with names) really care and listen. Thank you!
The person I checked in with and the nurse wewre both so kind and helpful. The doctor, on the other hand, was pretty creepy, and I left not having a clear idea whether I had the right prescription or something else was going on. I didnt want to ask more questions because I kind of just wanted to leave. He also had like a ten minute hang-out with his family while I was waiting in the room for him. Uh? I dont want to leave a worse review because the nurse was really kind and so was the person I checked in with, but yikes. The doctor is kind of the point and I was uncomfortable.
Staff were all super kind and helpful!
Receptionist was rude. She clearly thought I was stupid, because I didnt understand when she said that the QR code was behind me. Intake nurse, x-ray person and doctor were very nice, polite and helpful.
2019 - A year later, same bad cold, same great experience here.2018 - As usual I relied on Yelp to fill a need and you guys really came through, this -- in my experience today - is a GREAT place. Im sure it depends on a lot of variables but, I was the only person there almost, I called ahead to see if it was busy, super friendly lady said no and when I asked about filling out forms online in advance like Id heard to do, she said dont waste your time, come on down.Seated, did forms, did the blood pressure/weight stuff with a nurse, waited maybe 5 minutes and got Dr. Gomer. Super cool young doctor, loved his style - this is what Id do if it were me or for my family....Im 66 so with my medicare and supplemental coverage (United Healthcare K plan) did not cost me a dime!Highly recommend.
Horrible experience. My girlfriend waited an hour fifteen minutes in the room for her scheduled appointment. They checked her vitals. The guy hated his job. They didn’t even listen to her lungs when she’s complaining about a deep cough that’s been here for 3 weeks. Told her it’s a Virus then forgot to send her prescription to the pharmacy.
Urgent only in name.Im currently writing this review because the hour+ long wait time for my appointment has left me with nothing better to do. If the wait is going to be over an hour long from when your appointment is supposed to be, why hide that fact? Why be so ambiguous? I could have gone home and done something useful rather than sit in a freezing cold parking lot. Maybe dont come here if youre having any sort of medical emergency, because you may well end up freezing to death while sitting in your car, if you dont succumb to dehydration first.
Went here specifically to get an x-ray for my broken toe. The staff was nice but I got a one sentence report without having seen the x-ray, no information on healing times, then given a disc with files that wont open at the orthopedist so had to do x-rays again. The visit took two hours even with an appointment. It was a waste of time and money.
Worst experience ever. My son girlfriend went in because she was not feeling well. The nurse verbally abused her because she had not taken any pain medication prior to going in. They told her she was perfectly fine and nothing was wrong. Then sent her home. Today I took her to the er when her fever hit 103.2 and her pain only got worse. The er then tells us she has covid and that the pain is due to it. Maybe the nurse at this urgent care will take notes next time HE is dealing with someone. Probing questions help to figure out the problem. Using statements to someone sick truly sick like he did is foul and I will be reporting him to DORA HE as well this facility know exactly what that means. Remember you never know who your speaking to or who or what they know. Words of wisdom.
Horrible experience, my husband clearly broke his hand, got there at 530pm and the X-ray tech was so worried about leaving for her shift she told my husband I only have 15 minutes for you. The nurse who helped us, had to call in a doctor to review the X-rays that got half done because someone was ready to leave their shift, and ended up leaving there saying there was nothing wrong with my husbands clearly injured hand, saying he probably hit a nerve. The hand is bruised and his finger is twice the size of the other! What happened to good medical care?!? I will be going to the dr tomorrow so we can get a better explanation and X-rays from them, then relying on a bothered nerve in my husbands twice the size hand!Upset, we pay a lot of money for health care, and it says open until 8pm! The only one nice was the lady at the front desk!
Once again NextCare has helped me faster and more efficiently not to mention cheaper than my PCP or specialty doctors. Ive been helped at both the Golden and Arvada offices and my experience has been quick and friendly!
Excellent staff; caring/convenient check in, clean and bright facility. Nurse Practitioner provided an exceptional exam and care. Highly recommend this urgent care facility. Mountains of thanks NextCare! I feel better already knowing you are there for us seven days a week :)
Denise and Dianne provided great customer service and were thorough.
This facility is the absolute worst. Do not use it it. I took my daughter in who is 24 years old. She had been having sinusitis issues for 3 solid weeks. She explainecd her issues and the so called doctor blew her off because he wanted to check for covid. She did not have covid symptoms and yet he turned her away and said quarentine and drink liquids. I took her somewhere more reasonable and they raised their eyebrows when they heard how long she had been dealing with these symptoms. They gave her an antibiotic and said feel better soon.I will be calling to complain about this doctor you can count on it. This treatment was unacceptable and unreasonable. This is not over!DO NOT GO THERE….ever!
I had severe covid symptoms and wanted to get a test, so I drove to the urgent care on S. Golden Road and signed in online. The wait was 45 minutes, which was fine, given the Covid surge. After waiting 30 minutes, I received a message that my appointment was cancelled. I went inside to ask what happened and the girl behind the desk (she wore a Wisconsin Packers jacket) did not say a word. Not one word. I had gone there earlier this week and saw signs stating that violence would not be tolerated in the lobby. I was really surprised to see those signs, but given my experience with the Packer fan, can completely understand why people would get angry to the point of getting violent. The girl should be fired.
Everyone was friendly and I felt the physician really listened to me.
Great Service! After a horrible experience at the NextCare in Arvada, I was sent to the Golden office for a second opinion and Im really glad I went. Nurse Ashley was caring and nice, she examined me, looked at my rashes, explained the reason why she was diagnosing me that way and the reasons why she was giving me that medicine. She really took her time examining me and was attentive to my needs.
Moved here last night. Mom’s rash under three previous doctor visits went out of control during our move and then dad 88 fell down the front steps. NextCare staff from front desk to intake to doctor treated us with medical care but also with patience knowing how traumatic it was for my parents to move 1916 miles from their home if 30 years. They were calm and gentle. They should get 10 stars.
Not great for primary care. My primary care doc was on vacation for 2 weeks but the staff did not know so they thought he was just off for the day or too busy to come to the phone and day after day I was calling to get a script for a medication that had been incorrectly called to the pharmacy. To no avail. Its now over 2 weeks later and still no help. Pretty horrible service. I thought doc was nice, but I dont understand why when he sees all these messages Ive been leaving he does nothing....
Our family had three Covid tests scheduled for this morning beginning at 8:20 AM. Although we live in the mountains and drove a half hour to get there, with no problem, the office was closed until 10 o’clock due to a snowstorm that happened 2 days ago. Not only did we not receive a call saying they were canceling our appointments and opening late, we received a text confirmation in the morning confirming all three appointments. We needed these tests for travel and are now in a bad spot.
I have been here numerous times in the last year or so, they are a very clean and thorough clinic. I have insurance, but I also have their gold plan because it’s better than my insurance in most cases and much easier. I’ve had a few broken bones this year, as well as pneumonia that was incorrectly diagnosed at another clinic that accepted my insurance, each time I pay $35 for everything, X-rays, radiology, diagnosis, braces, any needed scripts etc. The other thing is they are all very nice people, receptionists, nurses, and doctors that aren’t there to judge any walk of life, they’re just there to give you the best medical care they can. Thanks urgent care
My visit went very smoothly. Pull up and do basic paperwork. Once I got that done they instruct you on next step get the covid test done. The whole process took about 40 min from start to finish. Thank you to Ray and the team.
Ok I gotta say I’m obsessed with their QR code scan at the door to fill out paperwork etc, then getting a text for when to come into the lobby. They tell you how many people are ahead of you. Once I finished everything, I was immediately messaged to come on in. I really wish every urgent care would do this.
Great experience considering needing to go to urgent care. Everyone was pleasant and I was seen within 10 minutes even with others there. Follow up call came a couple days later and they even offered to call in another prescription if the current treatment didnt do the trick. Definitely recommend.
Pretty good place, Ive come here many times over the last few years, Ive always had very good service and always walked out with a prescription when needed. The one lady Dr. A few years back even saved my life. I had a procedure done that went horribly wrong, she took the place of my primary care doctor until I could find a good one. This place has been really excellent. I cant recommend them enough.
I know these are hard times but honestly this place just seemed unprofessional. First I had went there a few weeks back for a horrible taste and smell I had been dealing with for weeks with the assumption maybe I had a sinus infection or tonsil stones. First the bad experience started when they told me to park and they would bring paperwork out. I waited over 30 minutes before calling again and was told they “forgot”, then when they brought me in all they did was a covid test. Didn’t look at my throat or nose or anything. Told me the smell was because I had covid even though my rapid test was negative and I had zero symptoms (I’ve heard of loss of smell being a symptom but never bad smell?) Then I booked an appointment for a rapid test weeks in advance for the day before a flight and they texted me the day of saying they were out of stock, so I was put in the position of either cancelling my flight or finding another place THE DAY OF to get a rapid test. Could totally just be a bad experience on my end, but I’m not thrilled with the service at all.
The staff was very nice. Raymond was pleasant when he took my vitals. Dr. Gomez was genuinely caring during my examination. He took his time and explained my situation to me. He came in to go over the different exercises he suggested for me.
The staff here is super courteous and make you feel comfortable, even being sick. I was in and out in under an hour. The doctor was fantastic! She was very informative and considerate of my needs!
Thank you so much for seeing me on Sunday. I was really feeling bad having strep for the first time ever and having sleep apnea having your throat swollen was not good. The Dr recognized this right off and suggested a steroid shot to relieve the swelling faster. I felt 50% better within 4 hours. I was so grateful! Thank you! Still on the mend but getting better everyday!
From the moment I arrived, I felt fortunate I had chosen NextCare in Golden. They took excellent care of me and my broken foot with kindness, professionalism, and quickly too. Thank you, Gerard, Valerie, Bill, and Ray!
Overall a good place to go when Ive needed care, but on 01/04/22, I had a covid test scheduled and they were closed due to staffing issues. I understand that theres a labor shortage right now, but a heads-up would have been nice before going to the facility and seeing a closed sign. This is especially true considering how hard it is to get a covid test right now
Lady at desk was super rude and unhelpful. Also, dont have health insurance which is why I came here. Use to be 50$ to be seen now its 200$-300$...JUST TO BE SEEN?? Seriously? Absolutely insane. Taking my money and time elsewhere.
The Nurse Practicioner Holly was wonderful. Very warm and friendly. The nurse was thorough and efficient. If I am ever unable to get in to see my doctor in the future, this NextCare site will be my go-to!
I was instructed by a nurse (not related to this clinic) to come in based on my pain and other conditions. They lazily misdiagnosed me with something far from my other conditions. They were wrong and the pain came back. They did nothing for me but send a bill, typical. Polite, but didnt care about my issue. Either incompetence or a complete lie to get me out the door. I got no care for what I paid for, and am no better off.
The doc was great and friendly. The facility was clean. We were seen in a timely manner. I checked in online which told me how many people were ahead of me. Worked great. Will definitely go back again if we need to.
The staff was very friendly and professional. There was not a long wait to see the doctor and they explained the steps they were doing and put me at ease.I had to return for a follow up and was impressed that they remembered me because they were busy on the Sunday and I got in a little before closing but was not hurried.Great care , Great staff,
Shocked a medical facility acted the way they did here. I waited outside in the snow, on hold for a scheduled COVID test. Ray at the facility finally picked up, asked for name and simply said youre late. When I asked what he needed from me, he said he didnt have to see me if he didnt want to and told me hed call me back and then hung up. After waiting 10 minutes I walked into the facility to learn my appointment had just been canceled as a no show by Ray. Astonished I asked what/why and was informed that it was bc he felt I was being rude. This is peoples health and wellness, it is serious and it is being disregarded by this facility
They were awesome! We got there a little early and we were In and out under an hour. (We had 4 appointments for each member) Gave us our results there. Super easy and an amazing workers!
I wish there were negative stars. Went and saw them a week and half ago. Waited for almost 3 hours in my truck. Saw a PA, not a doctor, needed a script for a nasal infection. They called it into the wrong pharmacy 45 minutes from me, but worse they called in the wrong DOB so the store could not help me. I drove down to nextcare while on hold the whole drive. 45 minutes. They never, ever, ever answer the phone. I got there on a normal business day and they were closed. No mention of that while on hold 45 minutes. I slipped a note between their doors and explained what they did. Told them to call it to Conifer King Soopers not golden. What did they do, called it in to Golden again. And that King Soopers is on strike and they would know. they share the same parking lot. But they dont care how much they inconvenience you. And they called in the wrong dob. What is the point of them having you fill paperwork out if they dont read it. Anyhow I am having bad reaction to the script that I finally got King Soopers to get to conifer after an hour on the phone because of the strike. Conifer not on strike but Golden is who I had to deal with. Now I am trying to get hold of Nextcare. I gave up calling as they dont answer. Went online and they have no way of contacting them other than phone. Then they have a stupid virtual assistant online that doesnt understand when you ask to talk to someone. Disputed my CC charge now. They suck so bad. Will go back to go to AFC urgent care and spend an additional $200
Place is ridiculous! Waited over 1 1/2hrs for urgent care. Were told we were fourth in line when we checked in. During the time of filling out the form, we were then told it would be 45mins lounge because people checked in online. BS!!! You need to improve your process!! Supposed to be URGENT care.We will never be returning her again and would advise others to do the same. I am sure there are more professionally ran businesses out there.
Friendly, competent providers. But the front desk staff arrived 45 minutes late, so everyones appointments were delayed, and some patients had to leave without being seen. Very frustrating.
This was by far the worst place have ever been to the girl in the front was beyond rude she tried to correct me on my name. She couldnt find my insurance on file because she wouldnt listen to WHAT MY NAME WAS and over all she was just so rude. I would never recommend this place because of her. I was able to talk to a female named Teegan and few days later that helped a lot more and tried her best to make my experien better!
Paperwork was easy, wait time was moderate ,nurse took vitals.Moved me to a different room ,didn’t take long for physician to show up,and check my condition, and then sent me to the pharmacy to get my prescription .
Wait time was as stated. Reception was friendly and easy. PA and nurse were caring and efficient- never really want to go to urgent care, but very glad I did - and glad I chose this one
Long wait time and limited communication, but once I got in everything was speedy and smooth. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I feel confident I received good care.
I was a walk-in patient, Next Care was recommended by my physicians’ office to get a COVID 10 test . I filled out a brief application and then I went in for the test. It was fast and they were very informed and were able to answer my questions .
Friendly and competent staff. Appreciate being able to schedule an appointment- but there was still a wait.
Provider was Jon Shriver or Scriver, and he was awesome! Very helpful! I made an appointment on my way over and they got me right in!
I came in 15 minutes before the closing time on 4/13 with a dislocated shoulder from a climbing accident and even though I expect they all just wanted to go home for the night, Dr. Gomer and the two staff members, Nicole and Ray, greeted me graciously and tended to me fully and properly. I have not been able to get health insurance, and have just switched jobs, making my financial situation very tight, but Dr. Gomer and crew took this in stride and made sure I got the necessary care with no extras that would have put any larger of a dent in my wallet. I cannot thank them enough for their service, as my other option would have been a visit to the ER, which would have likely been a terrible wait, and definitely would have put me in dire straights financially. Thank you guys!
They charged $400 bucks for 1 antigen test and 1 pcr test for my friends who were visiting US. Unbelievable! Total rip-off! Stay away if you don’t have insurance or visiting US.
Very easy sign in process. Was seen very quickly and felt that the entire staff was extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend to anyone that needs to come that you will be taken care of greatly.
Urgent care at Golden are very kind and professional caring group. They are very good at listening and giving proper advice. My gaut flared up and was seen on Friday got medicine for it but didnt work as well fathers day weekend comes Monday morning went in for a follow up. My gaut still flaming was giving others medicine to help me get thru the week and end my inflammation. Thank you Urgent care at Golden.Highly impressed with your service 👏
Worst care you could receive. I had a bad hand injury and went in to get it taken care of. After I got an x-ray the Doctor came in and said it was fine and didnt bandage me or anything. You could look at it and know it was clearly not fine. I went to my actual doctor a week later and I was told it was a torn ligament. Couldve saved myself 200 bucks by avoiding these strip mall doctors.
Wife went for COVID test on September 3. Had an appointment but still had over an hour wait to get in. You cannot just get the test, a doctor has to see you so that way they can charge the insurance company for an office visit. It is now September 14 and no results yet. When we try to call, no one answers the phone.
We arrived for a rapid COVID test after being told by a staff member that an appointment was not necessary and that we qualified under the companys standards. We were turned away immediately prior to 2 children in their 20s leaving on an 8 hour car trip with their 70 year old Father. Both the Google info and NextCares website say that an appointment is not required for COVID testing. The staff members at the Golden Colorado location showed absolutely no empathy for the situation stating, No appointment, No test. I would never again return to a company that showed such a callous disregard and inflexibility to adapt to a situation that their staff and their erroneous website created.
Thank you, thank you for returning to Golden with the same fantastic crew!! Today I saw Sean for the 1st time, and I truly hope he can be a regular addition to this already great team! He took the time to actually hear my concerns, and he didnt just throw antibiotics at me & send me out the door. In fact, he prescribed no antibiotics, which was a pleasant surprise!!
If I could I would give this 0 stars. My boyfriend went there because his ribs are popping in and out due to an injury in jiu jitsu. The doctor there was in the room for 5 minutes and was telling him that he has a blood clot in his lung, refused to talk any further about his ribs and reffered him to a hospital to get expensive scans. When he tried to ask question the doctor told him that he has been doing this for 20 years, extremely rude.
Ok ,,, the service is friendly,, but the process to get is like little nightmare,,you have to do a questionary and is repeatedly questions ,,They also ask for and ID , and home Address,, just for a covid test ,,Overall I will use this urgent care.if I recommend, I think yes ,, but if you not the person that like to deal with all questions and protocols like they have , so think on some other source.
Made an appointment for 1:20, they texted and changed it to 1:40. We checked in at 1:36. They wouldn’t let me go in with my 19-year-old. Doctor came in and told her they were waiting on results of her COVID test... but they hasn’t yet given her a COVID test. Two hours later they finally ran the test (negative) and said they would send two prescriptions to the Walgreens across the street. We go to the Walgreens and they had only called in one prescription. Called NextCare back and the person who answered said she would “tell them and they would try”. We go back to Walgreens but NextCare had submitted a request to only use the brand name and not generic which was all they carry. Pharmacist called NextCare but they didn’t answer, he left message for them and right now we’re still waiting for NextCare to respond to the pharmacy.
Denise and Dr. Gomer are fantastic. Great bedside manner and genuinely worked to figure out what was causing my symptoms. Thank you! This will be my first choice for urgent care should I ever need it again.
Dont waste your time or money here. The reception person (Ray) was very friendly. The check-in person was good but not a nurse. The Nurse Practitioner who treated me was not very knowledgeable. She believed you had to travel outside the country to get giardia. NOT TRUE. I suffered needlessly.
I checked in online from my phone which was simple. Arrived at 3:50pm, was seen by 4:30 and out by 4:45. It was so easy and the Doctor was super kind and efficient. I had to bring my 4 and 6 year old children and was so concerned but they made it completely harmless.
Usually my go to Urgent Care, however, very disappointed in response time- called and left 3 voicemails in one day attempting to set up an appointment which was not a service available online, and never received a call back. Upon arriving, waited an hour before being called into office and being told there wasn’t anyone ahead of me.
My boyfriend recently lost his health insurance coverage and was incredibly sick. We put off visiting the doctor because of fear of unaffordable medical expenses. It got so bad that we ended up going to this Nextcare (the one next to king soopers off of S golden road) and they were amazing. They walked us through their affordable health care programs which is independent of insurance. We saw Ashley and she gave us genuine help and advice for after the visit while keeping in mind our budget. Thank you so much. I highly recommend working with these friendly and helpful people!!
Showed up for my appointment and was then informed that I need to pay $260 bc I don’t have insurance or I could get their “insurance” for $145. They only accept credit cards bc cash money isn’t a real thing apparently. Very disappointed. I drove 40 minutes in traffic, sick as a dog and they were zero help. They wouldn’t even recommend another place considering they wouldn’t take my money. Health care in America is absolutely awful!
They were super quick here, waited no more than 10 minutes to get in with an appointment. Everyone here was super friendly and kind. Made sure I was comfortable.
Wonderful, efficient experience. Everyone from the front office, back office, and the Dr were incredibly helpful.
Great bedside manners! The entire staff was fabulous made me feel very comfortable. Very convenient to get to.
This urgent care is spectacular! The providers and the staff are very experienced and treat you with respect
They billed my insurance incorrectly which resulted in a $900 bill for one single strep test which I had to wait an hour after my scheduled appointment to get. only recommendation was fluids and water. go somewhere else.
