I had to take my child to be seen after visiting two other urgent care locations with 1-hour to 1.5-hour wait times. There was no wait time when we arrived this location. Check in was easy. The atmosphere is welcoming and modern. The nurse and doctor were very friendly.
I will definitely return here next time I need medical help. They have an online space saver, great location, modern/clean facility, sweet staff, and short wait time. The Nurse Practitioner was fantastic - friendly, direct, and helpful. I feel so lucky I stumbled upon this place when looking for an urgent care in my area. I wish I could give it more than five stars!
The staff was very nice. They listened to our concerns, did the appropriate tests, gave results and had us out very fast. Facility was clean as well. I would definitely return
Would not recommend, their nurse practioner misdiagnosed me without asking an any history questions and then wrote me the wrong prescription and never responded to my message on my chart about fixing the prescription. So all in all a waste of my time and scam for my money. I expected better out of Novant
I walked in close to closing very freaked out with my son lip laceration, they was real nice helped with my son and even though they was about to close I never felt rushed. Everyone was nice I really wish I got the two black ladies name up front and also the physician’s name but thank you for just being nice when I was going through.
I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The location is always clean and neat. My appointment was at 8 and I was seen within 10 minutes of arrival. The doctor was friendly and cheery which was nice early in the morning!
Got there at 9 am.At 920 they finally took the first patient to the room.I requested help with service several times. Once because the link was never messaged to me. Second because after 3 visits to the same place and having novant as my primary, my insurance was unavailable. Both times the check in person was rude to me. However, each person that came that wasnt Caucasian was serviced with a smile and friendly attitude. She said she would call me in a minute, then sat at the computer for several minutes. Then got up doing other stuff. At this point I just walked out. When you are ill, the last thing you need is attitude and the fact that every other person was more important. Dont recommend going there if the same person that was on duty today is there if you dont appear to have the right ethnic appearance. By the way, I am half native America half Caucasian. But I have pale skin so I didnt qualify.
Ive called several times and cant get anyone on the phone. I was left a voicemail by Dimitra a few days ago and every since then, I cant reach anyone. They didnt mind charging me that $100 fee though. The doctor that helped me was very knowledgeable. I just cant reach anyone and no one is calling me back after Ive called about 6 times already.
I arrived here at five minutes to 8 pm. I had two small but deep gashes in my forehead. I was told that I needed stitches but they could not help me. And they referred me to the ER. I guess I don’t have a clear understanding of what Urgent Care is? Do they not do stitches? Or was it too close to closing time and they didn’t care enough to help me?
This was my first visit to this Urgent Care, and it was a great experience! No wait time, front end staff was very friendly, Dr was kind and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend this facility!
If I could leave zero stars I would. We had a horrible experience with Erin Tarquinio. My 4-year-old son needed to get swabbed for strep throat. She was very impatient and after trying a couple of times, she said we needed to go to a hospital instead because my son was screaming and they couldnt have screaming there. I told her I wasnt going to the hospital for a strep test and I had already paid the co-pay. She said we had to leave and left the room. when I went after her she called me a horrible mother because I suggested Id hold him down to get swabbed. She got up from her chair and escorted us out of the office. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a medical setting. She was extremely unprofessional and refused to treat my son because he was screaming. He is 4 years old! It was very clear she did not know how to handle children. So after driving around and not finding an open urgent care bc it was thanksgiving, we had to wait until the next morning to be seen by his pediatrician. He was positive for strep. I wish we werent turned away by a medical provider and didnt have to wait more than 24 hours to begin antibiotic treatment. Completely unethical and unprofessional.
This place is an absolute joke of a “urgent care”. Felt like absolute garbage and walked in at 4:15, person at the front said they no longer take walk ins.“Urgent Care” not so urgent. Shut down and let party city take over you.
Great new Urgent Care! Easy online appointment. Once I checked in my wait was only about 5 minutes. Kevin, PA, was excellent and listened to my questions. Prescription for an allergic reaction I was having was sent to the pharmacy all within 10 minutes of leaving...just an easy experience all around!
This is regarding the response left by Priscilla Rankin.I am a double board-certified nurse practitioner with 3 licenses, 4 certifications, and 17 years of experience in the healthcare field. I practice scientific, evidence-based medicine while maintaining a safe environment for my patients and their family members. I also have an autistic child, so I am well-versed in psychological interventions and behavioral management in pediatric patients.Without violating HIPPA, you and your child (as you stated below) presented to the clinic for evaluation. My goal is to create an environment that is safe, non-traumatic, and protects children and adults. If a child or adult at any time during the appointment becomes verbally or physically hostile by kicking, screaming, crying, shouting no! no! no!, stop! stop! stop!, biting, scratching, hitting, and/or breaking our medical equipment, then the appointment is over to protect everyone from physical, mental, and/or emotional damage. Again, without violating HIPPA, I do not under any circumstance physically restrain, pin, squeeze, tie down, or sit on children or adults to perform a physical evaluation and/or testing, especially when they are becoming violent. When I made my recommendations you became so upset that you left your child unattended in the exam room, followed me out to my desk, and then berated me in front of a clinic full of patients, calling me a bad doctor because I would not treat your son. I do not carelessly throw medicine at patients (considered treatment) as this is considered negligence and harmful. You then continued to leave your son unattended in the exam room to scream at a lobby full of patients and tell them I am a bad doctor and was not treating your child. This was witnessed by our 2 cameras, 7 adults, and unfortunately 3 children: ages 3 weeks, a 3-year-old, and a 4-year-old. I recommended you leave the clinic because your behavior was primitive and aggressive.I relentlessly stand by my decision to continue practicing safe and scientific evidence-based medicine.
My daughter was seen at Novant Health - GoHealth Urgent Care on Lawndale. I was pleasantly surprised by the care we received here. The check-in process was efficient and easy. We were roomed right away. Cole was very personable and made my daughter feel at ease throughout the exam. The staff were all very kind. We were in and out very quickly.
Mollie and Chris are superstars! Ive never felt more comfortable than both of them made me feel. Mollie was able to find my insurance policy, took my xray and also tended to the other patient there and wrapped my wound. And Chris was amazing stitching up my hand. Considering the pain I was in he was able to make me laugh and keep me calm. I was taken care of immediately and they stayed past closing to tend to me. By far the best experience under the grisly circumstances. Highly recommend because of them 100%! Also a nice facility, clean and organized.
From the front desk reception to the care I received from the PA, I am highly satisfied! Very clean and not busy when I went. Made an appt online was greeted as I walked in the door. Kevin the PA was kind, compassionate, and thorough! Quick and easy urgent care visit! Kudos to the team!
Hands down the best walk in clinic around. Waited less than 10 minutes to see the PA … she took her time with me. Listened to what I had to say … highly recommended…
Professional and Friendly staff, Clean facility , and knowledgeable medical staff. In and out in less than 45 minutes. Didn’t know there was a Novant urgent care so close until I used google. So glad I did I love Novant and all of my providers are through Novant and this urgent care did not disappoint!! As soon as I found them online headed there and the entire process for registration and medical care was easy and quick. Thanks Novant Gohealth!!!
Not an urgent care. An overpriced glorified doctors office appointments only. Signs everywhere saying Watkins welcome and I was just turned away because they have appointments for the rest of the evening and there was no one there.
Happy until we got the massively padded bill! I was charged more here than at my last ER visit for heart palpitations! Daughter and I went here after returning from Costa Rica with some type of food illness with diarrhea. We went here to get stool tests ordered, so that we could be treated, if necessary. We walked in and were roomed together since illness was straight-forward and the same. MD came into room, was in there for 5-10 mins max, while we explained we would like to have stool samples ordered to be tested to see if we need to be treated, as we work in healthcare and food service and didnt wanna spread. He left room to go order tests. We were handed vials to collect stool at home and left. We were billed 484.00 each for this! We were billed a code 99204 the top from the highest level visit that can be billed! When looking at our notes, a full physical examination is dictated even though he never laid a finger on either one of us. Contacted three days ago by portal and crickets.
Unbelievably expensive! Charged 484 dollars for a 5 minute visit. Insurance barely helped out. Other urgency cares are much less expensive with same hours. A total money grab for the treatment.
Went in due to allergies that wouldnt stop, something I have had every year around spring and I know I will need a prescription for a steroid to get rid of the cough. First time I went they told me to go to the target 500ft away to get an over the counter medicine. How much was that advice ($200+ dollars). When in again since the over the counter meds didnt work and they finally gave me a prescription for the steroids. Another $200+ bill for that. $400+ dollars for my weight and heart rate to be taken and maybe 10 mins total of seeing a doctor. My best advice, go find another option because they will rip you off with both medical advice and price.
Wonderful experience here given the circumstances. Everyone was kind and listened to all of my needs.
Had a little wait, but that was expected, they only had 2 workers in. Both was great NP Lauren Brown and I cant remeber the lady who was working with her, but both did a amazing job.
The staff was amazing, very friendly and professional.
Don’t waste your time. Staff was extremely rude because I walked in 15 minutes before closing not seeming to care at all that I need medical attention. I walked out knowing the doctor was not interested in helping. Very disappointing experience.
Great staff great exam got the answers for the problem and treatment plan
Place is a freaking joke. Had an appt for a virtual visit since I couldn’t go at 6:20 due to work, was given a bogus phone number to call and when I found a number I was hung up on while asking for the supervisor. Poor excuse for management
I just called to get pricing without insurance, and the guy that answered the phone sounded like I interrupted his Internet time. Lets up the CS game people!
Professional, prompt, friendly staff
Excellent care !
