AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours - Greenwood

Worst customer service. They say book online, and come when you are #5, I did that and was told they do not reserve spots and there would be an over 2 hour wait. When I showed the receptionist the webpage where it says to book your spot, she repeated, we dont do that here and it says that on the door. If you CANT reserve your spot, DONT tell people you do.I left and went to the other urgent care just down the road and got seen almost immediately. The staff were very helpful and kind, as I expected. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! RUDE STAFF AND LIES ON THE WEBSITE

Staff were friendly and professional. There was no wait and was in and out fairly quickly. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was great for an office

Absolute trash. Took my 4 year old to get tested for the flu and ended up with a $562 bill. WITH INSURANCE. Never received a bill in the mail. 9 months later I get a collections call saying I owe $562. If I could leave less than 1 Star I would. NEVER USE THIS URGENT CARE

I went in for a possible UTI. The provider didn’t ask any questions or do any kind of exam. The only thing they did, besides vitals, is to take a urine sample. I am very disappointed with the level of care I received today.

The staff at AFC Urgent Care was professional and pleasant. That means a great deal when you dont feel well.

My husband and I have been here twice. The staff and doctors are wonderful. We prefer to come here than the Self Reg. ER, or the other Urgent Care locations. Keep up the great work AFC!

Yall were great! Receptionist helped me by bringing me the form in lobby. Doctor Weatherbe listened and didnt cause me pain just for heck of it. She did not force meds on me. Ashley was very helpful and pleasant. Young lady with boot went and found correct size. Follow up instructions are clear. My ankle and foot are already feeling better!

Barely a 5 minute wait. Very pleasant and professional staff. In and out of X-ray and on my way home. Using the website was a waste. All walk in

Nurse and doctor were so kind and gentle with my children. Night and day from our previous experience. Thank you!

We were from out of town camping. My granddaughter cut her finger and I thought she needed stitches. The front desk staff, nurse and Dr were all great! Super fast and no wait! I thought we would be there for hours and it took us Maybe 30min total! 10 stars!

This place is an absolute joke! The PA had to cut into me to get a cyst out of my arm. She gave me a numbing injection and less then 1 min she started cutting! I wasnt even numb nor was I asked if I was numb. So much tape was on my arm to hold the gauze pad, that a good portion of my skin ripped off along with the tape. The nurses that came and get me both times, was very unprofessional and unfriendly. The only good encounter we had before and after the, MedicalTreatment was when we told the receptionist why we was there. I will NOT recommend this place to anyone, nor do I have intentions of returning!

Edit: I changed this to a 5 star because I was contacted to fix the issue with the crutches and I called and they updated the return to duty note. We had already purchased the crutches, but the fact that they took the time to reach out to fix the issue was amazing. Will be using AFC Greenwood as our go to Urgent Care and will refer family and friends there as well.Front desk staff were very helpful. They came out to help me get the patient out of the car and made the check in experience very easy. We got seen very quickly. The only reason for a 4 start instead of a 5 star is that they did not have the size crutches the patient needed, and did not give the dates promised for a return to school note.

First visit. Great experience! Excellent patient care from team. Courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had a snake bite and Nicole made sure I was in a room and comfortable because I had high anxiety and I felt she truly cared and took pride in doing her job. The nurse and doctor were okay too. Thanks for making a frightening experience relaxing as possible.

Overall very polite front desk and back staff. My only complaint is my appointment was at 130 I didn’t get called back until almost 215. I arrived 15 minutes early as they requested so I had to sit for an hour to be called back with a Sunday appointment. Once taken to the exam room it took almost another 30 minutes for the Dr to come in after the nurse did the initial checkup.Thankfully, DR was about to help me and make me feel better but the wait time was insane. They did not collect my copay so I assume that will be in the mail soon. Overall I am satisfied and would return if my primary care office was closed.

The staff is fantastic! The front desk ( with the blonde hair ) lady was very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. This is rare to have in an office now because now days, not many people are nice when you walk in. This made the experience wonderful. She is what all greeters should be like. The back staff was very nice. They were fast and efficient. Overall I would recommend them to anyone.

My visit to AFC was pleasant. The staff was nice and professional and the facility was cleane. Feeling as bad as I did, I felt comfortable. When the Dr. came in to see me she was very polite and really took the time to examine me. I cant say the same for Express Medical Care. Its nice to know that there are medical personnel out here that treat their patients with respect and dont make them feel like their are a bother. Thank you again AFC for the care that was given.

Normally I have a great experience here. The one shorter male doctor with the longer hair and glasses has always been amazing. Yesterday he was unavailable and i had to see someone else. I went with my 10 year old daughter experiencing a horrible painful rash on both hands. Both swollen and she cant bend her fingers. They had blisters, skin was peeling and she couldnt apply any pressure to them. This painful rash appeared and spread in less then 24 hours. When the nurse came in to take her information, i mentioned she has been dealing with eczema for years but I was concerned because it had never been this bad. Mentioned she had used a different cream so it could be related. That she had been playing outside the day before. The doctor came in and was maybe been in there a whole 3 mins. Barely examined her. Didnt check her ears or throat (the possibility of a allergic reaction). Quickly (and I mean Quickly) glanced at her hands and told me the same information I told the nurse about eczema. He didnt rule out it could be something else. Didnt look at the fact her blisters and under her nails had pus draining out. Didnt examine that she couldnt move her hands or acknowledge how much pain my 10 year old was in. Sent in a script to refill her cream she was already taking and a oral steroid for the swelling. Nothing to help with pain to get her through the next few days. Shes literally in tears. Just diagnosed her with something without considering it could be something else and Didnt allow me time to ask much question before he walked out. I had to ask the nurse that brought my paper work back in if her hands should be wrapped or unwrapped to breath. All around was not happy with this doctor. He was in a mood, quick to get it over with (maybe 3mins), he didnt perform a proper exam, didnt inform on the situation, and left my child dealing with this agonizing pain she walked in with

A great experience yesterday. It started with the receptionist greeting me and getting me in. My nurse Angela was friendly, kind and kind. Dr. Jason Gosnell has excellent bedside manners. He made me feel very comfortable and I’m normally high anxiety at Dr appointments. I will definitely use their services again when needed, as will my friend who drove me and went in the room with me. I highly recommend them.

Staff was amazingly friendly and I was in and out of there in absolutely no time. Got straight to the point and had my prescriptions sent out right after I was seen so that I could start them immediately. My favorite part was hands down the staff though. Love how inviting they were. Jonie Smith is the manager and she was kind enough to sit and talk with me during my visit to make sure I was okay. Thank you to the staff!!!

I think the front office ladies name was Nikki. she worked that morning, alburn hair lady. very kind. and very helpful. most front office desk people dont care and are short an rude with words but not her!!! our doctor was also very great. and super kind to my kiddos. the staff was great.

I was treated very well and I can definitely feel relief from the next day thank you so much Laurie Weatherbe was fantastic! Although everyone in the entire staff was fabulous. Will recommend yall again

If I have of urgent care and can not get to the veterans clinic, this is the only urgent care facility I will use. They are clean, friendly and efficient. Thank you very much.

Terrible experience. Went in for pain in my ears, doctors came in and asked a couple of question and told me she’d be right back. She never returned. After 20 minutes of waiting, I find her at a computer ignoring myself and the other nurses while trying to see when she’d be back to my room. On my way out after never talking to the doctor again, with no medicine or relief for my pain, a nurse asked me for my name and number and said she’d call me asap with information on what to do next. 24 hrs later, I never heard back and I still have pain. Will never visit this office again.

Anytime Ive been to this company for myself or my children, the staff at the front has always been super nice and helpful. The staff in the back same as well. They also have a great doctor at this facility, Dixie is great! Definitely a good team. - And honestly, Ive never had a super long wait time anytime Ive been here. Thats always a plus. Facility super clean and neat. I also dig the fact they have TVs in the rooms, my kids sat nice and quietly during our short wait.

The staff there is awesome!The Physician Assistant and the X ray tech were very professional and knowledgable.They were also very nice.Took great care of me.I will definitely recommend others to come to this location.

Not only did I have to sit almost an hour for a pre-employment drug screen but they also stated incorrectly that they could not provide the drug test company with notice that I had prescriptions that might affect the text but they also lost my drug test results which lead to me being without a job longer than I planned due to having to retake the drug test at another facility. All this on top of rudeness from the staff. I wish I could give them zero stars.

Stacy at the front desk was very friendly, the nurse got me right back and was so nice and seemed to really be concerned about my issue. Casey Roche, the PA that took care of my illness was absolutely great!! She did not rush me even though it was closing time! I was very pleased with all of the staff!

Best experience I had going to urgent care!! This is my first going there . Everyone was so friendly and professional. The place was so clean and quiet! There wasn’t any loud noice which I really liked. When you get older you just can’t take a lot of loud noise. Thank you for the wonderful care I was given and believe me if I need urgent care again, I will definitely come there!

I was completely taken back by the decreased customer service since my last encounter there.The gentleman at the front was pleasant, but the pleasantries ended there.The young girl that called me back to take supposively weight, height, and vitals seemed bothered and wasnt friendly at all which is not good for patients already in most cases nervous to be in a medical facility on the first place.She asked me did I know my weight and height. I said No, she said you can just guess. I said I really dont know. She reluctantly allowed me to weigh in on the scale but never measured to see how tall I am. She just put something down....who does that. Maybe if she was having a not so good day, she should have stayed home. No one needs to contend with that type of behavior!!Next the nurse practitioner came in and she asked what brought me in......I told her about one concern I was having and showed her pictures. She made her diagnosis in 2 2 seconds based on the picture from the phone. Never touching me or looking at me personally!!! What???The first young girl comes back in to give me the paperwork saying youre all set!!! I said to her,.please grab the practitioner because we havent addressed all of my concerns for the doctors visit today. .The practitioner came back in,, saying oh, I am sorry! I thought that was all you needed. Well if she had taken the time to actually spend some time with me, she possibly would have given me the opportunity to share with her all of my concerns. I felt RUSHED and not validated!Finally I arrived at the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and I was told by the young lady there that it was not called in after she allegedly checked 3 times. So I called back to the office to inquire. The young man at the front said to give it about 15 minutes. So I waited......but while waiting I received a call from the practitioner saying that she called it in and she just talked to someone at the pharmacy and it was there.I explained to her that I was standing at the pharmacy at that PRECISE moment and and the lady told me it WAS NOT there (obvious a different lady). She said well I dont know what to tell you (the nurse practitioner).I did not like her tone at all during the entire conversation. She seemed very combative! I said to her maam I am not trying to be difficult or anything, but all I know is that I was told it wasnt there. Again, she said I dont know what to tell you.Then the phone disconnected, but she called back and by then I had spoken to a difficult person who found the prescription. It wasnt my fault or hers that the prescription could not be located by the pharmacy. HOWEVER, her delivery was not good at all, nor her engagement with me during my appointment.Pre-covid, that office rocked and everyone made you feel welcome and safe!!! Not anymore!!My advice:Be kind, treat people well!Its FREE!-KymberlY

The doctor was compassionate and took time to listen to the history and explain a treatment plan. The front desk was also efficient in getting everyone moved through as it was very busy. The nurses were also nice and thorough.

I just want to start off by saying I would stay away from this clinic especially if you are a college student away from home. My daughter was seen last week. She waited from 8:30 to 11am. She had a high fever and sore throat. She was tested for any and everything. The medical assistants were laughing and taunting her when she was given the strep and covid test because she was gagging and crying. My child is 3 1/2 hours from her family. I did call and leave a message for the office manager to call me. NO RESPONSE!!!! I would strongly STAY AWAY FROM this facility. *** Today my daughter called me and said she feels extremely worse. I called a local clinic and she was seen. They treated her very well!

Dr Doctor talks very loud and everyone can hear what hes saying . Violation of privacy and hippa laws come into play here. Plz advise him to lower his voice so others wont know whats going on with the patient hes dealing with. Also front desk employee was not very attentive nor pleasant. I tried call about 6 time before getting there ,and phone was going straight to voicemail. When I arrived there was no one in lobby and 2 patients left after we got there,even staff in the back was just sitting around talking when it was my turn to be seen., I dont understand why no one was answering the phone.

Why is this place still in business? If the operating hours is posted on the door from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday. Why tell people you take the last patient at 7:00pm and the facility has the time post on the door clearly 8:00pm on weekdays. Continue practicing poor services and surly youll be out of business like the rest of the poorly ran companies in America!

I made an appointment online with full detail of everything that was needed, the injury along with MY health insurance information. I waiting in greenwood for an hour and a half for my scheduled visit. As soon as I walk in for my visit, the receptionist already had everything pulled up and denied me medical care all because I was injured in a wreck caused by a drunk driver. Stated they don’t do third party billing. I stated that that was irrelevant considering I gave her MY PERSONAL health insurance information. Long story short, because I was NOT at fault in the accident and the drunk driver was, she refused medical treatment for me!!!!!

I had to go to AFC Urgent Care because my doctor was off that day. My strep throat wasnt cleaning up. The wait time wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. The PA that saw me was polite and took the time to listen. Great service.

This is the kindest, cleanest Urgent Care facility I have been to! Great staff, friendly, helpful, and actually there to help you feel better! Also, I am a cleaning lady...the entire facility has a very pleasant smell! So thankful for you, AFC Greenwood!

The facility is new which I’m sure that added to the short wait...but the short wait was wonderful. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff made it even better. The attending physician was also great and had good bedside manners. However, this was a temporary physician as I was told by the staff. They all offered at the end of the appointment that I could call if I needed anything else after leaving or had any follow up questions. I would highly recommend this facility and this was definitely my best urgent care experience.

This place is amazing! We are always in and out quickly. The staff is beyond amazing! They treat you with respect and they always want to get to the bottom of things to get you on the road to recovery! I love taking my kids here instead of their normal doctors just by how much they care! So thankful to AFC for always taking GREAT care of me and my family! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was in a tremendous amount of shoulder pain and the first place I went didnt have an X-ray tech that day. So, I came to AFC of Greenwood. My co-pay was the same and the facility was nice and clean. And, more importantly they followed strict COVID guidelines for my safety. I had the pleasure of having Jackie, Leslie, and Jennifer working as a team that day. All 3 took the best care of me and made me feel comfortable and welcome. However, most important they were able to do all that with professionalism and medical know how. Wow! The next day I received a call making sure I had everything I needed to move forward with my care.It wasnt one of those annoying calls either. It was like talking to a friend who cares about me getting better.Thank you AFC Greenwood!Deidre

HORRIBLE experience! Made an appointment online for a 4:00pm telehealth appointment for my son to receive a COVID test. Didnt receive a phone call from the staff until at least 4:15pm and was told that I would receive a follow-up text with link for visit. The text was not sent until 4:24pm and the link DID NOT work. Then received a phone call from the doctor that lasted less than 1 minute. The doctor then proceeded to tell us that we would have to wait again until 5:00pm before we could be seen for our 4:00pm appointment. I then called back to the clinic to cancel the appointment because I didnt feel like I should have to wait an hour for a scheduled appointment. Even after cancelling the appointment, the clinic still billed me and my insurance for a $315.44 visit. FOR WHAT... Less than a minute phone call. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and HORRIBLE SERVICE! We DID NOT get tested, received ZERO treatment and a phone call IS NOT service. After cancelling the appointment, I went to a competitors office and walked right in and received immediate service and was only charged $25.00. I will not make this mistake again. If I could do less than 1 star I would. I personally feel like this is INSURANCE FRAUD, but at the very least it is as I stated HORRIBLE SERVICE.

I did a tela- video visit and Dr was very nice she hade come to office for curb side tests. I had COVID-19 she gave me meds to deal with symptoms. I only gave 4 stars because video call was late and I waited outside for about 30 minutes before test and another 30 after test. She also did not call me with results I read paper and ask nurse that handed paper to me.

I have used AFC Urgent Care and have always received excellent care. This time, I had a video visit, curbside testing, and my prescriptions were sent to pharmacy in a timely manner. AFC is my go to if I am unable to see my personal provider.

I had surgery so I didn’t feel like taking my son so my husband did as I sat in the car to hear back. I get a text that they wouldn’t swab him for strep (the whole reason we were there) So I went in. They did not look in his ears. They did not listen to his heart. They did LOOK in his throat (he is 2 of course he’s throwing a fit) and treated as strep. I don’t go here unless I have to but now I will go to ER instead. Unprofessional. My husband and I were more experienced then the people working at this facility. Treated as I asked them too but no real results. No swab for strep but I didn’t leave there without treatment/meds. Would be nice to have it confirmed like a normal doctor/nurse would do. Only thing I’m thankful for was given antibiotics only because we asked for them. No swab was giving for appeared strep. This place was a JOKE

Edit:The staff has commented they have no record of me visiting, this is because they are searching for the name listed on my Google account, not my legal name. I have been at this Urgent Care a great many times.I used to prefer this Urgent care to any other one in Greenwood.There was a great Doctor on staff who helped me with several things, really minimal wait time, it was clean and felt professional. Last time I went in i had deeply sliced into my thumb with a box cutter and it was profusely bleeding under the layers of gauze Id been applying pressure to it with.I waited almost 2 hours, and was forced to use a pen out of the clearly labeled dirty pens cup because I suppose the front desk couldnt be bothered to sanitize them despite the pandemic. I also had to fill out the intake paperwork left handed (my right hand being dominant, because do my injury and could barely even do that due to the need to keep pressure on said injury. The front desk attendant was unhelpful and unsympathetic and told me to have a seat to do my single sheet of paperwork (which was only writing out what they had on file and have done digitally befor when Id come in with a serious injury, also there was no one behind me).Then most recently their staff was 45 minutes late for a videocall appointment which they didnt even actually bother attending just sent a text saying it was cancelled because I would need to come into the location.Even though I couldnt come to the location due to COVID symptoms.Which is part of why I made the telehealth appointment.Their professionalism, site cleanliness, competence, and kindness has been flushed down the drain in the wake of idk, perhaps new staffing/management?Also their rules are incredibly self contradictory.Yikes.This place just NARROWLY beats out the self regional ER which is really saying something. Because the staff of that ER straight up kills people, and your wait time is gonna be a minimum of 3 hours, and your stay likely at least 7.Such a shame Greenwood lost its only decent urgent care.

The staff and physician were great. Very friendly and efficient. My only complaint was people in the waiting room speaking very loudly on their cell phones with their masks pulled down to do so. The office was clean and I definitely recommend this office. You can also make an appointment and pre-register online prior to your visit.

Best experience I could of had. Everyone there knows what their doing and how to be professional. Diagnosis was quick and a plan of action to be taken was also done without a long wait. Id recommend AFC Urgent care for future healthcare needs. Definitely a proud military veteran... But I am definitely happy to receive the level of care I had here. Thank you very much for everything.

Ive been to AFC several times now. I will absolutely continue going back when I cant get my son into his pediatrician! This facility was clean, the front desk staff was friendly (which is rare in doctors offices in Greenwood, based on my experiences), the nurses were kind & personable, and the doctors have been fantastic!! Did mention that the wait has been minimal?...and that they get you in & out faster than ANY other urgent care Ive ever been to! I know several other people who have had wonderful visits there, too! If you need somewhere to go, go to AFC!!

The staff was extremely helpful courteous and pleasant and Dr Gosnell was great as he listened to the all the information in regards to why we were visiting the office and was informative and friendly during the course of our visit. AFC is the only urgent care in Greenwood to which I will remotely think of going to when and/or myself or my kids need to go. Im highly impressed by the front office staff and the clinical team at the Greenwood SC location and hope the staff will be recognized for the amazing work they do!

This facility is top notch for getting a DOT physical. The provider I saw, Casey Roche will go a long way in this world, she’s a great American! Thanks very much!

My 90 years old parents went to the Greenwood location at approximately 11:00am on 8-8-22. At 1:15, they still had not received their covid test. They were there only for that reason. I pulled into the parking lot and they were sitting in their car and was 94 degrees! I went in and spoke to the receptionist. After asking what the problem was, she put her hand in the air and said, First of all, you need to calm down. I advised her that my elderly parents had been there for over 2 hrs. just to get a rapid test. She then said, second of all, they chose to sit out there. I looked in the waiting room and there werent even any seats available. Additionally, they suspected that they had Covid and didnt want to be around other people. She then stated that they were trying to call my parents and that they needed to clink on a link and do a facetime with the provider. My dad has a flip phone! He doesnt even have that capability. I cant believe that this facility cant figure out how to accommodate people with certain needs. I felt so badly for my parents. By the way, my dad tested positive. He felt so badly to begin with and to know that he waited 2 and a half hours (the additional 30 minutes was waiting on 15 minute rapid results) breaks my heart. I never would have waited that long but they are older and dont know about all of the other testing places. I can at least say that they did call in a prescription for him. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

I would HIGHLY, and I mean HIGHLY recommend this urgent care ! I have never seen a clinic like this that was so incredibly accommodating! Not even my own doctors office (when I had a family practice doctor) was as accommodating as they were...I only regret that I can not remember each employee by name that made the experience incredible, but it started with Britney (thats one T not two), who took my info and was so gracious with me and the other patients in there, it was hard to believe that she could maintain such grace to everyone under such hard circumstances of everyones visit to them. But that was just the beginning, the entire staff from nurses to the assistants was top notch... the doctor you ask? Well as good as can be for an MD! He was great, but it affirms my always close held belief that nurses and assistants really can run the show! As a professional, similar to the MD, my staff only really needed me for my signature :) good job nurses and staff!!! I will recommend your clinic and hope that you continue to set the stage for such a high and fine level of care and respect that so many in your field seem to lack....good job

They changed our appointment via text message. The nurse stated she called for our video call, she called, hung up and did not leave a voicemail. We tried to call back and unable to get a REAL person. The customer service was so horrible! I finally spoke someone but- it was my fault because my appointment was changed to 1:39pm and when I answered the call at 1:37, she hung up. She over talked me and count offer a resolution. We are all tiered of COVID-19 but that does not give you a reason to be rude to anyone or not do your job. She was rude as soon as she said hello. Awful services and I wouldn’t recommend.

PA Roche is an excellent Physician. Kind, knowledgeable, and caring! Would gladly let her be my primary physician in a heartbeat. She helped make an unpleasant experience bearable and I am truly grateful.

First let me share the good things about this place. Once you get to the back the nurses and Dr.’s are great! The lady at the front desk is so hateful for no reason it makes you not want to go back. You can understand if it happens once but I’ve had at least 3 experiences where it was the same. I saw a few other reviews about her. It’s just not necessary. If you hate your job just go.

Leslie Cheshire is amazing! Shes got great customer service. Shes a jack of all trades running around making sure patients are tested, registered, and taken care of. I love the promptness of the doctors and nurses. The online aspect of it all is so convenient! Thank you for being there for us when we are sick!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. After turning in paperwork I was called in within 5 minutes. Doctor was courteous , professional, and explained all issues to me. Prescription was called in immediately and waiting for me at pharmacy.

Care was very good. Very friendly staff. Lots of follow up to ensure I was feeling better and asking about the service. They obviously care what their patients think. Wait was longer than the expected and communicated maximum time of 30 minutes. But they were quite busy.

My daughter was sick on a Friday afternoon and I booked her appointment online and registered her and we were in and out so fast! We were greeted and the staff at our location was friendly helpful and knowledgeable! I definitely would recommend them highly to anyone!

I am from a different state. The receptionist did not give up on my insurance until she made it work. They were quick to do the xrays and the NP lauren was kind and helpful. I was referred for an MRI and being from out of town the staff was able to call and get me an appointment set up. I had to drive 45 minutes to get to AFC but i’m glad I did.

Very kind and caring ladies. It was a busy day with several waiting and I assume only 1 FNP. Wait time was average with all who were waiting. LaTasha put me right at ease taking my vitals. She’s efficient and so sweet. When Laurie, FNP, came in she agreed I needed antibiotic and cough medicine. Highly recommend this practice!

Such a great experience both times Ive been in with my little ones! Dr. Gosnell was great with the kids and took the time to really listen and get a full picture of the issue. I love how clean they keep it, too. Great place and will definitely be back if the need arises.

I should have know this was going to be a bad experience when, while filling out my paperwork, I heard the receptionist tell a customer on the phone I really dont give a s**t, sir and hang up! It had clearly been a contentious conversation, but to actually hear her say that to a customer was startling.Then, when I took my paperwork up, she was immediately hostile with me and asked why I had put down sinus infection when my appointment request said ear infection (there were limited options on the initial form). She told me I should have made a telehealth appointment and to leave immediately or she would call the police! This was such a bizarre reaction I didnt even process it in my mind, I just asked her about transferring my current appointment over. She quickly snapped that they were different, that Id have to make a new appointment, and again said she was going to call the police!! Id been totally polite and only spoken three sentences to her at this point, so being threatened with the police for merely walking into a medical provider while having medical symptoms was insane!! (I hadnt had any respiratory symptoms or fever and I was confident it was merely sinuses, which is why I still came, though I was masked and distanced). At this point, I was flabbergasted, so I just left. The next telehealth appointment available online was three days later, so I decided to just make an appointment with a real doctor instead. I certainly wasnt going back to AFC Greenwood!This womans outrageous response, the hateful attitude she displayed to every customer (phone customer, two other in-office patients, and me), literally cursing at patients, badmouthing patients to other staff afterwards, and being unhelpful to the point of open hostility convinced me to take her advice and leave! She clearly despises every person who walks through the door, and if thats the welcoming face of your company, I have no interest in meeting anyone else that works there!Ive been to the Anderson location a few times as well and had at least one difficult experience trying to make an appointment. This company seems to make their money from low-income patients with Medicare/Medicaid, so their customer service is garbage. I will NEVER be using this company again, and certainly not this location!!!

AFC did a virtual consultation for me and diagnosed my symptoms. They scheduled my test and within a hour after my test I was able to have my meds and back home resting. The whole thing was very organized and the nurses and docs are very good. I would highly recommend.

When I called to schedule a Covid test, their message asked for patients to be polite and patient with the staff, that they were working hard to be responsive and prompt. It made me sad and angry that they would even have to say that. They have been on the front line since the pandemic started, and why people would be rude to them is beyond me.My wait was about five minutes.They were very professional and friendly, well protected themselves. They told me what to expect and when to expect my results. I want to thank them for that and for the fact that they are working tirelessly to be of service. They have my utmost respect.

We had more things going on other than Covid. The dr was exceptional in diagnosis and treating with out of the box thinking to correct the illness in two days. The nursing staff was fast and courteous with caring information. The Doc was awesome and he was an OD

Months ago I would’ve given this place a 5 star review. Now, not at all. Staff is less than friendly unless you actually have a serious problem and they feel bad for you. Upon arrival they input my insurance info wrong and tried to tell me it was my insurance, and after calling my insurance company we realized it was the Urgent Care’s mistake, which they still refused to admit it was. I was misdiagnosed and ended up in the ER that same night. Then, get a call from them to get some test results back and I call back to a lady at the front desk saying “one moment,” then the phone starts ringing again just for me to get no answer and get hung up on. Would rather not have the test results than deal with this place!

Fast and very considerate staff, nurses and Doctors. We needed same day covid testing for traveling to Hawaii. The steps from on line appointments, registration and then drive up services were excellent. I’m so grateful for this Urgent care facility and the staff.

Screamingly easy virtual doctors visit, was able to get an appointment almost immediately. Doctor was friendly, helpful and efficient. Was able to resolve my issue and get a prescription to the pharmacy quickly. Only drawback is they were about 50 minutes behind.

Everyone (the Nurse Practitioner, the nurses, and the receptionist) were friendly and professional. I was a walk in so I had to wait about an hour to be seen, but that was because people ahead of me had scheduled appointments. I feel I got excellent care and I would go there again.

The receptionist, Dr. Clardy, the nurse and both X-ray technicians were PHENOMENAL. They were gentle and kind with me while I was in excruciating pain from a fall. Their collective attention, expertise and explanations were commendable as great quality health care. Im glad Greenwood now has access to AFC Urgent Care locally. Thank you entire staff!

The AFC urgent care is the best anywhere around here. I drove from the opposite side of Saluda to there because of the service and people. Professionalism at its best and staff that are very trustworthy and always get it right.

Best experience at an Urgent Care!! I am someone who will only go to the doctor if I cant fix my ailment by myself. My reason for this is my past experience with rude doctor offices and arrogant physicians.The AFC office in Greenwood was so nice and professional!!! Had some technical difficulties where I was scheduled for a virtual visit, and the system didn’t save my appointment, Nikki (front desk admin) helped get me in and was very polite on fixing the issue. The Doctor was very sweet in asking about my family recovering from COVID, and the COVID test was fast and simple—this helped me get back to work ASAP! My first and last time here. From the waiting to be seen to waiting for lab results from the same doctor that ordered them, like another doctor couldn’t read it. It was very frustrating. Calls not returned either.

Every time myself or my family have been to AFC we have received the best care. You are in and out in no time. The Drs are very nice and know a lot on the best ways to treat you. They listen to you and don’t treat you like a number. The staff members are great. I would much rather go to AFC then have to spend hours in the ER or at Self’s express care. The longest I’ve ever been at AFC is 45 mins total. They do great with setting you up with any test you may need and set up referrals if you need to be seen by a specialist.

Everyone was wonderful as always to me and it was a quick process to help me feeling better! I appreciate all the hard work from the staff at AFC Greenwood! Only if Dr offices could care and flow as well as my visits here at AFC. Thank you for all your hard work during such a stressful time. 💗

Made an appointment online for 945 am. Get to the office at 935am only to be told they dont have a physician on staff today. I made this appointment before 9am, left work only to be told they cant help me. Someone could have called me or they could shut off the online appointments.

I had a wonderful experience at AFC Greenwood. I suspected my daughter was developing an ear infection over the weekend and I did not want to wait until Monday to schedule an appointment with her pediatrician. I Googled urgent cares in Gwd and found AFC was opening early on Sunday and had an early appointment available. Everything from the online appointment system to the warm reception and the kind care was top notch. It felt like I was visiting my daughters regular doctor even though we were total strangers. Im grateful to have this kind of care available when it is needed and I appreciate the awesome staff there that helped ensure my daughter received the care she needed quickly.

Jason Gosnell was an excellent provider and very professional. My husband has the flu and I am immunosuppressed. Jason was very aware of the need to get me started on tamaflu as a preventive. His response was quick and appreciated!

From my wife, Vanessa.Had a bee sting on my ring finger and it was swollen to the point where the ring was cutting off the circulation. Headed to AFC Urgent Care. Was taken care of almost immediately. Doctor decided the wedding band had to go. He cut the swollen part of the finger to relieve the puffy part. Was given two prescriptions and done. Waited almost 3 hours. There was one PA who was doing all she do to get ahead with little to no help. Receptionist was absolutely terrible. Not professional at all. When going to tell them why I was their, she slammed the glass window shut and said, Im on break.

I havent had any pain in my jaw after being treated by the provider and staff. Dixie is amazing and always has the solution for my visit. The nurse was excellent! The medical receptionist gave me a good laugh which distracted me from my pain. This is my favorite AFC urgent care location.

Tested positive for Covid and was really sick. I hurt everywhere and very congested in my head and lungs. Over the phone the doctor gave me some things I could do and sent a prescription to the pharmacy for a new antiviral that worked like a charm. I couldn’t believe I could feel soooo much better in one day. I went from a place of great fear to 100% joyous in less than 24 hours. Thank you so much.

Super helpful place, clean, organized, efficient. PA on duty was pleasant and knowledgeable. I got in, fixed up, got on my way. Reception staff also terrific. Hope you take good care of yourself and never to have to use urgent care, but if you do, this is a great option.

Called scheduling tele visit for my mother. I clearly put all her info in. Except insurance because it would not upload on the website. They made appt but kept calling my phone, i gave them her number verbally after calling them twice. I was told in second time to give insurance info online. I explained it would not upload that the website stated it was having temporary problems. She refused to take information over phone for my mims tele visit and was very very rude! I asked if I could drop of to male copies and she rudely stated uploading on web only way and if my mother cant do that then she could not be treated. I said she is 80 and i am trying to help her but I am unable as well bc your webpage. “She said well … then she is not getting treated. “ very nasty attitude amd no treatment

This place has literally the worst medical service I have ever experienced! Waited over 2 hours to be seen by a doctor and it’s just supposed to be a walk in appointment but when we got here they had us book an appointment. They literally do nothing barely even look at u and just diagnose u with whatever weather u have it or not! Please do not come here! There are plenty of other good urgent cares in the area!

Over a year ago I gave this place a 5 star review. I used to love this office, but now they won’t see you given even if you have a recent negative Covid test and just think you 2 year old has an ear infection because she gets them chronically. How is a physician supposed to look in my child’s ear via a video visit. I think this company should be reminded that a fever isn’t just a Covid symptom, it’s any other infection symptom as well. Very disappointed in this. Do better AFC

We had a 10:00 appt and waited an hour in the waiting room and another 30 minutes in the exam room for someone to come in for 5 minutes. It took 5 hours to get an antibiotic because everything they called in the pharmacy was out of.

I like getting a text to show up so that I am not sitting in a waiting room with a lot of people who are ill. I didnt have to wait long at all. The folks that work there are professional and friendly.

Took my son in as walk in since that is what they offer. One doctor. 3 hour wait. Needed antibiotics for ear ache. Gave cough meds. My son had strep throat. Will go to er next time. Same wait time but at least they would know to give antibiotics. If u need a bandaid and want to wait go to urgent care.

I must say this place has got it going on. When I walked in I was greeted and seated. The wait time was minimal and was seen promptly by the staff. They went above and beyond and even scheduled an appointment for further testing that was needed elsewhere. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great job folks!

Had an appt for 655...received a text saying they were running behind and the appt was now 740. I checked in at 735 and waited to be called in. At 755, the surly front desk girl called and stated that my appt was at 655 and that they were no longer seeing walk-ins...I would NOT be seen today. I reiterated to her that I had an APPT (!!!) for 740 as per the text sent to me by the AFC system. She continued to lieand deny about the 740 time when it is clearly in black and white on my cellphone. She would not even look at the text and apparently she felt entitled to leave promptly at 8 whether there were patients still remaining to be seen or not...UPDATE: After speaking with the manager, I have updated my review from 1 star to 5. I believe what happened to me before will be addressed and hopefully will not happen to others in the future. I was treated well by the staff and doctor today and can see why others had a much more positive experience than my original interaction.

Did a video call with doctor and then curbside testing for flu and covid. Had the flu, was prescribed some meds and never had to leave my car. Very prompt and efficient care.

My visit with AFC Urgent Care was fantastic. I made a telemedicine appointment at the wrong center and was contacted by the center administrator, Jonie, my address was closer to on of their other centers. It was my mistake and they took it upon themselves to make my visit as convenient as possible.These telemedicine visits are so routine but Dr Harris answered all of my questions and I didn’t feel like I was the 100th visit that day. Having covid is scary no matter how you think you are prepared to deal with it.. The staff of AFC isnt numb to this and has nothing but compassion and patience from what I have seen.Brittany swabbed my kids and had them laughing before we left. They were physically sick on the way because of past experiences at other urgent cares. She was clearly exhausted but was nothing but professional, patient, and a pleasure. AFC is the only urgent care I will trust with my family and they are doing a phenomenal job during this pandemic. I have seen a lot of companies use the pandemic as an excuse to give subpar service but this is not the case here. All of the staff needs to hear that they are killing it every day!!!!!

Horrible Service!! Went to get a shot and the medical assistant didn’t even break my skin with the needle.! Push all the solution out on the surface of my skin.! I had to get a family member to a doctor on a Saturday afternoon. Her doctors office, of course, was closed so we decided it was a necessity to go to an Urgent Care facility and this was the one we chose. HUGE MISTAKE! Th receptionist had to have been the rudest person I have run in to a long time. Needless to say, we left and went to Abbeville Houspitals emergency room. What a difference. They were very profesional and there was no waiting. I do not recommend AFC to anyone!

Their website clearly says walk-ins welcome. There are no stipulations on the website. Out front There is a red sign that says stop and call for screenings. Considering what the website says and covid, it is a little misleading. What they mean is walk ins not welcome despite what the site says. The lady at the front said I have to call for an appointmentment or go online, so I went outside and called only for her to say thats not what she said like she didnt just say that. She then said I had to do a telemed visit. When I asked why I had to pay for a telemed visit just for an inhaler, she said thats not what she said and argued. So then nurses come out and say its for covid symptoms. The problem here is that when I stated that I have just been tested and have papers showing a negative result, they made me leave the building. Its a shame because I did like one of their doctors. That said, their website says walk-ins available but you get attitude for not making an appointment for covid screenings even if you have negative test result to show them. All they care about now is money and not the patients. I will never go there again and will tell every possible soul I can to not either.

My first time ever going to an urgent care and Im glad I chose this one. My primary doctor couldnt see me until next week, but they saw me when I walked in. Very friendly staff and waiting time was quick. Found out I had a knee meniscus tear and theyre going to refer me to orthopedic.

Coming back to edit my review. I went here a year ago and it was wonderful! My son tried to have a Telehealth visit and was hung up on and they wont answer the phone or return the call. I am sure our insurance will get a bill from them even though they provided no service.

Really fast process. Was able to go when I really needed it on a Saturday morning. Had a problem addressed that plagued me for years, got effective medicine prescribed and was back home before noon. Incredible. I absolutely would recommend them to anybody.

My doctor needed me to test for Covid. Everyone I spoke with to get to Urgent Care was very nice to me. The wait was short. They have front spaces to park for Covid test. They actually do the test to you unlike CVS, who gives you the items and has you do it yourself.

The Staff was welcoming and helpful. Dr. Gosnell was friendly, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable about diagnosis and treatments. Thankful for quick service and relief from my eye pain.

This place is hit or miss. Ive successfully taken my children here with good treatment. Yesterday however I over heard the nurses/front desk talking bad about a patient who was calling in. If I wasnt needing to see a Dr so bad I would have walked out then, because after hearing that its hard to trust you wont just be the next one they talk about. It also makes me doubt how serious they take their patients needs.I was diagnosed with thyroiditis by the lady who saw me who was very kind and not one of those I had overheard gossiping. However they referred me to an ENT and apparently made it seem like it wasnt a priority because when ENT called they scheduled me a month out. When I questioned it, I was told that the referral did not state any urgency. Considering the swelling of my thyroid and history of thyroid issues this just bothered me. The lady who called to see how my visit was couldnt have been more scripted if she tried. When I mentioned the issue with the ENT she said sorry about that. Have a good day. Like she couldnt care less and was just checking boxes. Lastly I want to say I gave this place 3 stars because out of the 3 times I have been there this was the only time I ever had close to a bad experience. The woman who treated myself yesterday and the man who treated my son for the flu a month ago were both a delight, professional, and good at their jobs. Its quite possible the nurses/front end just have had an overworked over strained weekend, but that is not an excuse to come off uncaring or to be talking badly about another patient in earshot of the lobby. In the future I will chose to use Drs Care because even with good treatment from the people we were seen by, I can no longer trust that the rest of the staff wont just make me a talking piece the second I walk out the door.EDIT TO ADD - I was called today and told that they would be working to find a better timeline for an ENT. No matter if it was done out of genuine care, or they saw this review, I still updated stars to 4 based on them working towards helping me and everyone being entitled to an off day.

Quick and easy. We did a telehealth visit to assess if I should get a COVID test. They listened, answered questions and were done quickly. Got my test done and results back within half an hour.

Very professional and kind-hearted staff that made me feel like I mattered and took the time necessary to answer questions and make sure I understood all instructions for my care and assured me they would be there for me if I needed them. Highly recommend!

For this to be an urgent care it sure did take a long time just to get a drug screen. Heck it was quicker doing the drug screen than the whole amount of time I had to wait. And I was already in the system.

Terrible Terrible experience. Made an appointment online for a covid test for work. Having the symptoms and everything. I make an appointment online and get to the office and Im informed by text that I cant come I to the building that I need to make an appointment for telecare. I go to do that and there is no appointment today which I need today to know if I can work tomorrow or not so I ask if I can just switch those times and the woman that answers the phone very quickly and rudly informed me that they cant switch it and neither can I. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE STAY FAR AWAY.

No wait time! I work across the street and I was in and out before my break was over. Doctor Gosnell took care of me and I was in and out in no time. All of the staff is friendly and I really appreciated the compassion.

The virtual visit was fast and the doctor was able to diagnose me without me coming to the office which was very convenient. I got my meds within an hour. Would definitely do this again if my family doctor isn’t available.

After having some recent health issues, the last thing I wanted was to be in an urgent care. I had read the reviews for AFC Urgent Care, and a few others, and decided that if I had to go to an urgent care, Id go here. So glad I did. I received kind and compassionate care. Everyone was thorough in performing their jobs without being snooty or judgemental. If I have to go to an urgent care again, I hope this one is available.

Considering the high demand for healthcare and testing during the current pandemic, AFC was quick to dispatch testing and results for COVID-19. Their drive up service is convenient and felt like a safer alternative to in office testing where one might be exposed to other illnesses. 10/10 would recommend

First time doing a Tele visit and it went very smoothly and quickly. The staff was excellent and I liked the doctor. Will go again for any treatment not needing a hospital visit.

My knee is still a little touchy but I just took my second dose of the prednisone at 2:30 PM. Im hoping until tomorrow the knee pain is less yet.Everyone there did a great job, very professional. The team works very well together.

Due to shortage of physicians they are not accepting walk-ins at the Greenwood location, contrary to what the website says. Even with an appointed time of 12.30, I had to wait an hour before being seen.

I was due to fly out the next morning and needed a covid test because I was not feeling the best and was concerned that I might have covid.I was told by the woman who I originally spoke with at 1:00pm that there was a time slot left for me to have a covid test. When the doc called at 6pm and said he was full and couldnt see me till the next day I was a bit taken back. When I explained my circumstances he asked where I lived and I said 5 minutes away. He told me to come on and he would do my covid test. Thank you to the doc and AFC for running my covid test on Dec 22. which by the way was negative. I was able to fly to Arizona and have Christmas with my family. Merry Christmas to the staff and Doctor at AFC!

I would have liked my experience but the doctor was rude. The nurses were very professional but not the doctor.

AFC is an excellent Urgent Care center. I highly recommend them for their service and care. From the doctors to the nurses to the secretaries- everyone was pleasant and professional.

Excellent service, registered online and enroute to the AFC Urgent Care, was in and out and done with Meds prescribed in no time. The paperwork took the longest to fill out. Now only if Walgreens could work as fast to fill the Rx.

I sat in the parking lot and call for 10 minutes because it says to call them when you pull up before you be able to be entered into the office and every time I called they would hang up and no one came to the door to even let me in to have services because I was not feeling well and reached out to them and nobody answer the phone. I am extremely disappointed.

Sign in is digital; service is prompt & through; Wait time is tolerable and understandable (had a couple of people in front of us); prices are fair (no hidden fees; was $55 to be seen); X-rays, if needed, are done at no extra charge; Only downside is that they cannot perform advaned pediatric nor gyncology type of work (they can treat and diagnose some injuries & illnesses, but they cannot do more advanced treatments and diagnoses); tv in waiting room and patient rooms; ask you to follow up with them afterwards if they feel you might need to; give you a detailed list of what was done to you; can call in prescriptions at drug store of your choice

I went here feeling very sick this week tested negative for COVID so I asked to see a doctor because I had a bug bite that looked infected and they refused to see me and told me to go to the ER. I went to doctors care the same day and got antibiotics for the bite and feel better after 24 hours. I will never return to AFC again.

The staff was awesome. They had me in and out in no time at all. I know its not fun having an emergency but this place was very helpful and accommodating.
