Dr. Bloom and her team are the MOST caring and dedicated team. We switched from Penn to Main Line and have nothing but a great experience. Dr. Bloom and team have run additional tests and found new routes for our path forward. We are endlessly grateful to this Dr. Bloom and MLF!
I have been welcomed, educated and supported at every location of Main Line Fertility. Rachel (NP) was gentle with her words and actions with my care. She is personable and knowledgeable and truly cares for her patients.
Everyone at Main Line Fertility is so kind, patient, and caring! Fertility is such an emotional experience and everyone from the Doctor and Nurse Practitioner, to the nurses, techs, and desk clerk, make you feel comfortale and calm. I am so happy they were the ones who helped my husband and I on our pregnancy journey!
I graduated 2 weeks ago from MLF with my second successful pregnancy with Dr. BLOOM. The journey for my first successful pregnancy was a long one. As many know, there is no black or white solution with infertility. Its not a one size fits all type of process. It takes an entire team to work through every possible scenario. The staff was always pleasant for my B/U appointments. I stuck through the entire process with Dr. BLOOM, never losing faith in her ability to help me achieve one of my biggest goals / dreams to be a mama. It was definitely encouraging to know she and her partner had gone through the process as well, and that is why I chose her to begin with. My second pregnancy was just a transfer of my frozen embryo from the prior retrieval which ended in a successful fresh egg transfer. There is a 50% success rate for that, and Dr. BLOOM delivered 100%.If you have doubts or fears, never lose faith. Stick through it, educate yourself and stay ontop of the plans you are given . There is a TON you will learn from this experience.I am eternally grateful to the entire team at Mainline Fertility and indebted to Dr. BLOOM.I hope to update this review once my second is born, with a photo of both girls and the Doc that made it all happen.Thank you!
MLF was an amazing experience! We went through a lot of ups and downs but during this difficult journey I was so lucky to have Dr. Bloom, Julianne, and the havertown office by my side along the way. This group of women became family and even though I did not want to go through this process I would not have changed anything because I was lucky to have MLF with me every step of the way!
This is hands down, the best thing I have done. Let me explain.I was scared, nervous, I didn’t know what could be wrong. I had 2 previous miscarriages and no reasoning on why. I was trying to start a family for almost 3 years now (which I knew was too long but I was going at my own pace). I had a friend that went to mainline fertility so I logged in & started reading the drs bios to pick who I wanted to work with. After reading Dr Blooms bio, I knew she was the one for me. Since I stepped foot into that office in July, I have felt nothing but love and support from the whole entire office. I had gone through a 3rd miscarriage with the office where they took such amazing care of me to the point that I didn’t even have to weigh out any options besides when to show up to have everything removed as my body rejected the medicine. I have never felt so comfortable with making such a big decision. Since then, I am now 10 weeks pregnant and graduated onto a regular obgyn. They had bloods drawn which told me that I was “surging” (ovulating) & that having sex now would be the most effective. I have been seen weekly for the past 6 weeks, with getting blood work drawn & ultrasounds every week to ensure that everything is growing properly. I have never felt so comfortable going into a drs office, they literally feel like family where we laugh and cry together to reach goals that you have always dreamt of.Yes, this whole experience is scary, every week is a whole different story as you don’t know what to expect, but you’ll find you have the most support right in the very office as many of those woman have also suffered the same and only want what’s best for you & will give you the absolute best care. No question is too crazy for them.Take a leap of faith and trust your decisions
Dr. Bloom and the team at havertown are hands down the best group of ladies I have ever met! Dr. Bloom has been the best doctor I have had the pleasure of working with! Between helping me with my first pregnancy and now my second that surprisingly just happened - Dr Bloom has been there for me through it all!
They’re terrible. Don’t even put the stress on your body. It will be a waste of cycles and treatments. That’s all my experience has been, cycle after cycle, STRESS! But then I’m told to keep my stress levels down…?!They sent me an email and asked me to rate. That’s my rating.Disorganized. Miscommunication. Lack of communication. When you try to tell them something, like every medical professional, they don’t like being told they did something wrong. So they deflect and try to make you seem crazy. But they quick to get their money, and charge you for services they don’t actually provide. (Monthly $250 cycle coordination fee)
This office was so lovely! We had a wonderful experience here. All of the staff were knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. The office was clean and beautifully designed. It was a very calming and uplifting atmosphere. My husband and I both were treated with respect and felt welcome. They addressed everything we expected and explained everything they were doing and why. We would absolutely return here for any fertility concerns, questions, or routine procedures. 10/10 highly recommend!
Honestly this is the BEST place to build your family goals. The level of care, dedication, professionalism & warmth from this office is unmatched. I moved 2.5 hrs away; if I could I would make the drive to receive this level of support. Thank you to Dr. Bloom for helping me as much as you could while I was in PA.
At age 38, I was referred to Dr Allison Bloom for deeper dive into my fertility. From day 1, it was a total nightmare. I have fully normal menstrual history, average egg supply, hormone levels, and physiology. In our first consult, I told Dr. Bloom I had started trying with my partner and wanted to have two kids, so I wanted to make sure there were no issues with my fertility. She immediately told me I should start IVF ASAP and started rapid-firing terrifying statistics about the low odds of getting pregnant during any given cycle, the percentage of decline in my fertility with each year, and I was shell-shocked and burst into tears. She condescendingly told me “hey, don’t cry! Come on! Don’t cry!”The scare tactic worked and I started IVF with her right away. In every meeting she was rushed, distracted, and verbally misquoted my age, details about my health, or details about our fertility plan. To prepare for our first egg retrieval, we worked with a rotating cast of nurses who shared info to Dr. Bloom for directions. We did frozen cycles to stockpile embryos and in our first cycle we got one normal embryo. This was communicated to us through a lab tech with no context or sensitivity. We didn’t know if one embryo was good news or bad, and when we finally met with Dr. Bloom a week later, she was extremely defensive about being asked to meet, insisted we hadn’t scheduled properly, and she had other patients who needed her attention. When we asked for her medical perspective given cycle 1 result, she accused us of having unrealistic expectations, “had told us this wouldn’t be easy,” and made reference to my “advanced age and low ovarian reserve,” which were not an actual response to what we were asking. She said that 1 normal embryo was good news, so despite how rude she was being, we decided maybe she was a good doctor and we should just stick it out with her. On our next cycle, we got zero embryos. This time, the follow up meeting was more of the same, but much worse. She insisted she did not have time for our scheduled meeting and had other patients waiting. Her only medical response to the outcome was to repeatedly name and blame my age, egg supply, egg quality, and general fertility, and again accuse of having unrealistic expectations, offering no actual insights or encouragement. She told us we should also consider adoption and donor eggs.My partner and I were appalled. We got two second opinions—from another doc at Main Line, and another fertility specialist—and meetings were like night and day. Both new docs were thoughtful, considerate, and optimistic about our options. Both said “I’m sure your doctor told you, we always say one cycle doesnt predict another.” We had been told the opposite. Both doctors questioned the protocol Dr. Bloom had used and were optimistic about other protocols, or simply other batches of eggs, being more successful. We changed practices and new doctor actually paid attention to our specific cycle history. Our new doctor found critical things Dr. Bloom had overlooked: my eggs were not low quality, but they needed an extra day to mature before retrieval. Egg immaturity was something I had specifically asked Dr. Bloom about after our failed cycle, and she had dismissed it defensively. My new doctor paid close attention to this for every following cycle, creating a custom protocol to keep my eggs inside one extra day. My new doctor also learned that my partner had DNA fragmentation, which could be the root cause of our challenge in previous cycle—NOT my eggs or age, as Dr. Bloom had constantly told us. DNA fragmentation was pretty easily addressed, and with our new doctor, we had 2 normal embryos in our first cycle and one normal in our second cycle.Working with our new doctor who paid attention and got better results made me see how truly inappropriate and inept Dr. Bloom was in her treatment of us. If anyone else experiences the same treatment, know that there is something much better out there. I would never, ever recommend anyone see Dr. Bloom.
There are not enough words to describe how much I love the women that work in this office. Dr.Bloom is the best doctor I have ever met, she was caring and understanding and truly guided and supported me to getting to my goal of a baby. A process that can feel so isolating and heavy was made lighter by her and the amazing people that work there Julianne and Sarah truly made me happy to be there. Anyone that has to go through this struggle I would 1000000% suggest working with this team. They are AMAZING!
Main Line Fertility, especially the Havertown office, guided me with care, support, and empathy through my fertility journey. Dr. Bloom and her staff were professional, knowledgable, always made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this amazing staff!
Main Line Fertility was such a blessing for my husband and I! After 2.5 years and being lead down the wrong path by other doctors, we found Main Line Fertility and what a blessing it was! From my first zoom call with Dr. Bloom I knew I was in good hands. She and the office staff are simply amazing. From Sarah and Victoria welcoming me at every appointment as if they’ve known me forever to sitting in Dr. Blooms office and having open, honest and respectful communication about our treatment plan. Dr. Bloom discovered my PCOS which opened up the door for us to now be 23 weeks pregnant with our Main Line Fertility miracle! I cannot wait to have our sweet baby girl meet Dr. Bloom and all the office staff one day. I cannot thank Dr. Bloom and the rest of the MLF staff for welcoming a Pittsburgher with open arms and providing my husband and I with such excellent care. Graduation day was a mix of happy and sad tears as I hated leaving the team I trust so much. If it wasn’t for Dr. Bloom I wouldn’t be where I am today!
Ive been a patient of Dr. El-Roeiy for a year. He, as well as everyone in his office, have always given kind personalized care. My very first appointment with him he promised to do everything he could. He was very thorough and wanted every piece of knowledge before making a decision. I always hear from the office quickly, even after hours. I went through a difficult miscarriage after I had graduated and he still brought me in to take a look and give me peace. He tracked my healing to prevent any further issues and always advocated for me. Its makes graduating this time around bittersweet because I will miss the sweet care. The office grows to feel like family because theyre with you 100% through the good times and bad. Everyone that knows my story talks about what a God send he is. I will definitely be returning when we are ready for another baby.
Beyond amazing doctor! She too the time to explain to us our options and why out game plan was. I would 100% comfortable refer her to any of my friends or family! I look forward to working with Dr. Bloom.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. El-Roeiy and the entire team at the Mainline Fertility Havertown office. I was a patient there for 1.5 years and through all the highs and lows of the infertility process, Dr. El-Roeiy always remained positive and committed to making our dreams of having a baby come true. He has a wonderful ability to make the most complex things understandable and less intimidating. He made me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the process. He’s empathetic and compassionate and he kept our hope alive in the hardest times. And the same can be said for Amanda and Melissa-they are amazing. They are all such professionals and genuine, caring people. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor and team. We owe them everything. We are expecting our first baby next summer and are beyond excited. It was so bittersweet to graduate from Mainline knowing I won’t be seeing them each week. I’ll miss them all dearly!
Dr El-Roeiy and his staff are amazing. Dr.El-Roeiy is very professional, very knowledgable and has taken the time to get to know my husband and I. He has helped us out in every way and has done an amazing job throughout my entire journey with him. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, I have been blessed with a baby boy and I am currently expecting my 2nd, which was unexpected. Even with this 2nd pregnancy, he’s been there since the beginning, monitoring me, supporting me, and making sure everything is ok! I hate saying good bye to him and his team each time because they are the best people to go through this journey with!
Dr. El Roiey gave my miracle. It was a long road after being told I had zero percent chance of conceiving naturally. I had surgery to have a cyst removed, did 3 rounds of clomid and made the decision to give IVF a try. The process is emotionally exhausting, but the doctor, Amanda and Melissa were fabulous. After my first roundbofbIVF I got my miracle. 38 weeks and 6 days later I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. Best decision I have ever made.
My experience was great. It was personal. The doctor gave me insight that will help me. The initial consult was quick but very informative. I felt more confident after my consult. I cannot wait to continue working with the facility.
