This place took care of me in a better way in a time I needed it most beyond expectation of any other physicians and appreciate you all for it!! I had lost all hope in physicians until ohearn took down to earth care for me, staff always friendly. Thanks 😊 I love how you help people
I always have a good experience when I come here. Dr Dillard ALWAYS listens to my worries and concerns. I appreciate the doctor-patient relationship I have with her😊
At first I thought this was a great place to go . The doctor seemed friendly and so did the staff. But after a few visits, you got to see how catty some of the women that work there can be. As a patient, its uncomfortable to witness them being rude to another patient. They do have the ability to draw blood there to send to the lab saving you a trip.
Great Staff, friendly, they go out of their way to serve you.Mrs. Wells has been my Doc for three years now, I have one word to describe her: Awesome. She really cares.
I have been trying to get my child’s seizure medicine straight and I have been treated unfairly and as if they don’t care about her or her medications. I want to actually talk to the owner/ someone who can help me get this medication and help me with this issue. A person who cares..I have asked you all before to please email me or give me a email address where I can directly email the ceo, but no one did that, so I looked Maratha Lewis up on fb and left a detailed message there in hopes she will see it, I also left a message for the ceo on her fb messenger so it is in both of y’all’s messages on fb you just have to look for it..I can message you all, text you two, email you too, but I can’t physically talk to you all on the phone because I have Covid and my throat is really sore. But if you look on fb messenger please please and read my message you will hopefully understand and see what I need.. and I know you all should be able to help me all I need is her seizure medications refilled for 2 months til her neurology appointment and y’all have had no problems refilling her medications til recently. I will delete this review once you all have her medications called in thank you
Dr. Ohearn is one of the most kindest, smiley, and cheerful Doctors….. very smart, a great listener, and offers a multitude of solutions and routes one can take to better their health! Love the nurses and staff, they work fast to get you what you’re there for!
The receptionist/appointment scheduler is extremely demeaning and condescending. On 3 separate occasions the same receptionist had treated us as if we were not only unwelcome but a complete burden. On a phone call in which I needed to see if blood results were in for my son, when asked she says in a rude manner “what do you want from me?” Although Ms. Dillard was wonderful and treating us with dignity and respect, the front staff leaves you feeling demeaned. We will no longer be using Community Health in Hopkinsville as primary care and will be looking elsewhere where we will feel welcomed.
This place was horrible!!!they rescheduled my kids appointment multiple times even telling me that I was a no call no show to an appointment that I knew nothing about. I asked to speak with a supervisor and Was hung up on by a nurse. Highly recommend going somewhere else.
The people here are extremely professional and proficient. The process of getting my Covid testing completed and getting the results quickly was an easy one. I feel confident in these people’s abilities and recommend them highly.
My husband has stage 4 lung cancer. He had an appointment at 3:00. He woke up not feeling good and I called to see if we could just call and find out everything on the phone. No problem changing visit to the phone.
If you are looking for a practitioner who cares about their patients, go elsewhere. My husband has been seen by Ms. Dillard for two years for general check-ups and refills of the SSRI that he has been on for 8 years for depression. He saw her in July and still had a refill left on his medication, so she advised him to call the office when he ran out. He called on a Friday when he had two pills left and was told that they would get it sent in on Monday. He called three times on Monday and was told each time that the refill would be sent that day. When he went to pick up the prescription that evening, it wasn’t there. We left on a trip early Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon, he had a voicemail stating that they weren’t sending in the refill, that they had to refer him to a psychiatrist. We weren’t able to reach them until Wednesday. We spoke with Samantha, who told me that they “don’t do mental health” and that he would have to see a psychiatrist. I reminded her that he hadn’t been able to take his medicine since Saturday and asked that they call in a refill, since he had never been informed that they no longer “did mental health.” She refused. And refused. And refused. She was incredibly condescending and rude, and seemed to not understand that when someone is not weaned off of an SSRI, they experience withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, heightened depression, nausea, headache, dizziness, and a whole other host of issues. She finally told me that she was just repeating the practitioners orders, and left me on hold for fifteen minutes when I asked to speak to the practitioner. We finally got them to call in a seven day refill, which wasn’t actually submitted until Thursday morning- six days after the initial call.If my husband had been informed that they no longer “did mental health” (a direct quote from Samantha) at his appointment in July, we would have had adequate time to respond and find a suitable alternative. By mishandling the situation, they severely violated the Hippocratic Oath, which states in part,“I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures [that] are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeons knife or the chemists drug.I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the persons family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.”My husband was not treated with anything resembling warmth, sympathy, or understanding. He was not offered all measures available, and he was not cared for adequately. He was treated as if he were a nuisance and asking for something unreasonable instead of medication that provides him the opportunity to live a life free of crippling depression. In this era of understanding of mental health, it is shocking that there are physicians who think that it is acceptable to cut off use of an SSRI without proper process.I pray that no one else experiences the abuse or neglect of this clinic.
I always get my medical health questions answered. Care is professional and health issues are addressed w further appropriate testing or f/u w practitioner. I feel comfortable and am validated by my APRN and assistant. I have a fluid communication w them! I know where I stand health wise and am encouraged to make health goals to help w issues. Amy Wells and Raven are the BEST!
The Nurse practitioner Dillard was rude and short with me. She rushes through appointment n I tried talkin to her about my muscle spasms from fibromyalgia and she tells me to buy lotion foam at store when i try explaining i have skin allergies she tells me well idk what to tell you i lost it right there. N told her maybe i need to find a new dr. Then i called cuz since she rushed me n pissed me off i forgot to ask for a refill on my inhaler n i get told no they wont refill it go to urgent care. Worse treatment i have ever had by a doctors office. The building also smells like a dirty diaper
I was very pleased with everything, the stuff was great and very friendly. Nurses where very kind and patient with my needs. Look forward to next appointment there
Love the staff and caregivers. My only complaint is getting an appointment when sick. My caretaker is only there a few days a week and they do not like having someone else to see you
I have been going here for a few years now and everyone has always been professional. Dr. Naughtin had been one of the best doctors I have had. If you need a Dr or change Drs go to the community clinic.
First time coming to this dr called to set up fminitial appointment and was able to get in same day and get seen. Staff was very friendly and polite and my dr was amazing and listened to everything that i had to say
Mrs Dillard is very respectful and nice and I got my covid-19 test done and in 15 minutes I knew that it was negative
This is the most worthless place. Doctor is never in and if you can get appointment he cancels. Take time off work for nothing. Looking for a good Doctor any recommendations??
The staff & Nurse Practitioners are wonderful! You can tell they care about their patients. I recommend them to everyone I can.
The staff is always friendly and happy to help with any medical needs and the wait is never too long would highly recommend to anyone
