Dr. McKnight had performed a surgery on me prior starting my ivf cycle at CCRM. She wasnt my primary doctor that I was seeing at CCRM, but it didnt make a difference. I got the same level of care as I would receive from my own doctor. Before the surgery, she came to me and made sure to answer all my questions and concerns. She is a super kind doctor and her smile brightens your day.

Dr McKnight herself was amazing in my consultation. Her staff, nurse specifically , was terrible. There was zero follow-up and I have now switched to a different place with phenomenal staff. This is a very emotional and sensitive time in people’s lives and I feel this should be taken into consideration with companies. I work in healthcare personally and I give and expect better.

Dr. McKnight was such an angel during our fertility treatments. Shes incredibly smart, empathetic, and efficient in her manner. I always felt really comfortable with her, and the rest of the CCRM staff, during my appointments and for my procedures. She never rushed through anything with us and answered all of my questions. And it doesnt hurt that now Ive had two successful pregnancies with her :).

HIPPA violationUncaringLack of empathyTold me to quit after one cycleDid not call with my results and knew an hour after the procedureDr. McKnightmare, I encourage any patient to read the negative comments. A hysteroscopy is not needed and is a painful procedure, they should offer to put you under or make you comfortable to perform. 2nd she told me not to try again after one cycle bc I had pain after the retrieval. They try to convince patients that pain is abnormal and it’s you. She only told us not to try again after she had our money and the procedure was complete. This Dr does not care about her patients. She is only here to drive her Audi and take peoples money. The mean girl in high school that was spoiled and hateful to everyone, that’s Dr. McKnight. Her ego comes first. Because she was not successful it was me. A physician should never tell someone that has normal cycles not to try again. Lastly, she disclosed private information about another patient, telling me she did not get any eggs either. This is a HIPPA violation.

I went to see Dr. McKnight after 2 years of not being able to get pregnant. In my first and only visit with her she asked me some basic questions, spent maybe 15 minutes with me in her office. She never did a physical exam and then sent me straight to speak with her financial coordinator to talk about the cost of a hysteroscopy, IUI and IVF. She didn’t even bother to find out the underlying cause. When I went to a new OBGYN the first thing she did was an ultrasound and immediately found a large (8cm) endometrioma and diagnosed me with severe endometriosis. Dr. McKnight wasted my time and money and unnecessarily put me through a painful hysteroscopy. She was completely negligent and only after money.

Dr. McKnight is very skilled and has great bedside manner. I work in healthcare and had many questions but she unlike my previous doctor actually listened to me, answered my questions and provided me with relevant information to my treatment plan. This made my decision to switch to Dr. McKnight that much easier. I did call and bug my nurse often in the beginning because of uncertainty or fear with the different procedures. The medication routines change frequently based on your bodies reaction to treatment and can get confusing if you are not paying attention to every detail, but they were prompt and courteous answering my questions over the phone and email. I loved how encouraging and spiritually uplifting the phlebotomists were during my many visits for blood draws. On the day of egg retrieval, the embryologist were very knowledgeable and happy to share information. The sonogram/ultrasound techs were skilled at identifying many aspects of the IVF process. All the staff members were professional and did an amazing job through my entire IVF journey. I would recommend Dr. McKnight and her staff in a heartbeat.

First, her staff and her are very nice. They all came highly recommended with a relatively high success rate. They were empathetic when it didn’t work for us. So if nice is what you’re looking for, you will certainly receive it. It’s why I gave 2 stars instead of one, but this is a results oriented process and the processes were lacking for our situation. My biggest issue is they don’t listen and just keep pushing forward in order to what feels like just get the money. What do I mean? My wife came in stating that she has a clotting issue, she’s been told by a doctor previously she could not get pregnant, been told by a doctor they thought my wife had endometriosis, at one point she was finally able to get pregnant but that didn’t make it past 24 weeks, which is apparently “rare and unusual,” and now we’ve been trying for years with meds, IUI, and finally in vitro. So my wife kept requesting to get a full work up of her blood from day one. She also requested the endometriosis surgery to ensure she didn’t have it. She kept being told everything was fine on the basic blood results with her numbers looking great. She was also told that the percentage difference between having endometriosis and not is infinitesimal. $26k later, with bills still coming, we have a failed transfer, which we understand is not uncommon on this fertility journey. Especially since we already had a failed IUI.After two post failed transfer consults, they FINALLY listened and performed a full blood work up and discovered my wife has genetic mutations and a folic acid issue that would’ve prevented pregnancy all along without medication. It didn’t take them that much more work to get a full work up and get all the data that would’ve been needed the first time. Why would it take two post failed transfer consults to finally get them to do a full work up? Why not just do this all upfront when insurance covers it? When my wife had requested they do the surgery for endometriosis prior to transfer, she was told it wasn’t needed. Now she’s in the process of scheduling the surgery she requested the first time as it now suddenly looks like she likely has endometriosis and it’s needed. It was highly preventable and could have made an already difficult and expensive process a little less difficult, and maybe actually successful. But even if it wasn’t successful, at least we could say we did everything we could before a failure. Instead I have a devastated wife who is dealing with this mostly on her own as I’m deployed. As far as the money part goes, in the first consult post failed transfer, but prior to running additional tests, my wife was told that they wish I was back home so they could do another retrieval. Mind you it took us years to save up for this, but, even worse, my wife was already putting on a brave face in that consult feeling like a failure to leaving feeling like it was all solely for the money.Advice for anyone willing to listen: don’t rush the process. If you’re not getting what you want to ensure that your hard earned money is not wasted, hit pause and demand further tests upfront. Don’t take no for an answer. You’re likely at a fertility clinic because you’ve struggled to build your family. Husbands, boyfriends, other partners do the same. The difference between a rushed process and a tactical one can be the difference between money wasted and holding a baby. We went with their flow instead of our guts, and we now have to do this all over again. It sucks!

After 2 failed IUI we decided to see another fertility doctor to see why didnt work, so we went to get a second opinion and first we went to Hermann memorial hospital at katy thinking we can get an answer but that doctor was the same as this one just want money and they dont care about patients, doctor McKnigh we only see her ones them disappear the day we saw her i brought my medical records on paper she looks like she checked it but didnt bc my FSH levels been always high so i very low possibility to be pregnant using IUI process so we waste our money and time just bc she didnt look at my lab results was at my medical records, she just dont care and got our money, the first IUI her nurse insert the syringe at my urinary bladder and was so painful when she took out from there and put in the right place, i was feeling burned i called the same day bc the cramps was so painful they said is normal i told i have fever they said is ok is normal, well i wait i didnt get my AF until 2 months later all the time was with pain and cramps went to see my ob and at her office was bfn again to i confirm didnt wirk but i got and infection, they never called to see how was it, the second IUI was Sunday and the got my husband sperm at 7:30 am make as to come back one hour later, after the hour we got there and make us to wait until 9:30 am when i got mad about the waiting another nurse did the IUI this time was not painful and was easy, but failed bfn again. Last week we went to another specialist outside of that hospital and i show her my medical records, she was your FSH levels are high IUI wont work, you need more test, we was waaooo this is the first time we hear it. So wasted time and money with a inhumane doctor
