Scheduled for semen analysis for my husband, and we had to cancel because we found a better schedule and same day result somewhere else, i asked how long will our refund be back to us, lady said 6-8 weeks. They charged deposit same day, but takes them 6-8 weeks to return our money? That’s the first time i heard something like that, typical its 3-5 business days. Glad we are not going there for our IVF. Also, no one answer their phone for current patient, but you call for scheduling a new appointment, and someone will answer, that is how I was able to get a hold of them for cancellation.
I cannot express enough how grateful I am to the team at Aspire. Dr. Abdallah is an exceptional physician whose expertise and professionalism made all the difference. He took the time to explain every detail and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. The nursing staff, particularly Veronica and Roxann, were equally amazing. Their professionalism and warmth provided a comforting atmosphere, and their support was invaluable. They were always available to offer assistance. The clinic itself reflects their high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. I always felt comfortable and safe during my visits. I highly recommend Aspire to anyone seeking fertility treatment.
Had a terrible experience with this place every step of the way (which only lasted 2.5 visits) so I DO NOT RECOMMEND. First visit was with a doctor who was not warm or welcoming in any way. I’m pretty sure she didn’t even smile once while we were there. She just shared information like a bot (on this sensitive and vulnerable topic), I could have just looked it up on google instead of paying for a consultation. Second visit, operations in the clinic was so slow and not timely as I had to wait for >45 min for lab work that was pre-scheduled for that morning. Somehow, the technician did not take the full blood sample she needed for my testing so she called and asked me to go back the same day to complete the sample.. Then she forgot she needed a urine sample to go along with the blood test, which she mentioned to me RIGHT AFTER I went to the restroom. So I had to wait there another 30-40 min and drink water in order to provide the sample (otherwise the blood drawn was useless). I did not complain or say anything at the time, but at this point, there have been too many things that did not make this experience pleasant so here we are). Third visit never happened because the staff is not good at communicating policies or follow up instructions. Instead they bombard you with documents and fine lines that they expect you to read every detail instead of them just telling you in person when you are there or on the phone with them. Today, the team lead told me that they apparently “gave me grace” by not charging me a fee last time, so therefore, I have to pay the fees this time.. even though I was never made aware of said fees (in relation to rescheduling). If the staff was effective in communicating their policies, I would have been made aware of fees that will be charged for certain situations, and maybe then, I could have had the opportunity to act accordingly and follow the policies and protocols in place. Lastly, during this time, there were days when the portal was down or simply not working. All in all, this place is missing humanity, which you would think is key for this emotional topic of discussion. Every interaction felt transactional, so feel free to go here if you want to work with a bunch of bots.
Would not recommend. I have a lot of respect for my ObGYN but this recommendation was plain bad! I have attended two appointments, both times I had to wait 45 min. They do not communicate or give you options. They do not review your labs with you. They ask you go undergo surgery and go against your religious beliefs and dont even talk to you. You can only communicate with them via a portal. No one is helpful. I am seeking another clinic. Very disappointing experience.
I’m not impressed. I went in solely for the consultation and to figure out me, and they are trying force me to bring in my husband. Like I know I’m the one with the problems since I’m not super regular and have only recently gotten more regular. There was immediate talk about IUI/IVF and zero talk about how I feel about either of those options. To top it, even with insurance it’s was an EXPENSIVE consultation. I understand that it’s for a service that is expensive, but considering it’s a consultation it seems absurd to be charging $128. I was expecting something more personal and getting to know me as the patient for the sensitive topic.I left the consultation very uncomfortable.
I am a new patient with Dr. Mazen, and I can say he is very nice and explains everything about the patients health. Dr responses to patients questions with patience .
Pros:1. Dr. Clapp and Dr. Mazen Abdallah are both knowledgeable. I got great results with the treatment plan. Their professional opinions deserve to be recognized.2. Office operation is VERY efficient.3. Nurses and staff respond quickly. They prefer using the patient portal more than the phone calls (This is an advantage if you prefer text over phone calls) for questions. For appointments, phone calls are faster.4. Price list of patient responsibilities is very clear.5. Day of procedure was efficient, on-time, and pre-op communications were very clear.Cons and what I learned from my experience with their services:1. Do not expect patient emotional care, you have to be prepared that you are paying for the medical service only and expect little real human connections to help you feel like a patient who needs help. Please start searching for your own support groups and therapists at least several months before proceeding with the treatment. This is a very emotionally heavy journey in which there was zero heads-up given during the consultation until I actually went through it myself. You will need someone other than your partner to hear you and validate your feelings, especially when your hormone levels will be 15 times higher than normal.2. You will need to do self needle injections for at least 10-12 days and you will have to self-learn how to do it via recoded videos instead of live demo. You will be charged if you need a nurse doing it for you each time (around $100 each time for 2023).3. You will need to read lots of instructions on your own during the treatment period, verbal communications will be minimal. Be prepared that you will need to get on Youtube videos or WebMD to answer your own questions during the evenings.4. After procedure care with phone follow ups are basically only happening the day after the procedure. Be sure that you communicate with your OBGYN very closely before, during, and after the treatment, and be sure to have Aspire HFI to transfer all the medical records to OBGYN. To keep peace in mind, expect that this place is ultimately a business, not an actual healthcare place for helping patients recover and continue to be healthy, such that patient healthcare after the agreed service is almost none. They will keep you healthy enough for the operations. As for recovery health and well-being, please reach out to OBGYN and dietitian.Overall, for medical services, I recommend this facility. If you can be emotionless to deal with the treatment and treat yourself just like a robot and get things done, this is an amazing place to go. But if you self-identify that you are a normal human being with emotions, be sure that you take time (as much as 2x more than the expected treatment period) in advance to create your own IVF treatment support group to get your emotional needs met.
My experience at Aspire HFI was amazing. Do yourself a favor and make sure to have a consultation with Dr. Yeh. He is knowledgeable, understanding, and makes you feel part of the team/family. My husband and I throughly trusted and valued his guidance during this process. Also the entire team was a joy to go through this journey with. Roxxann, and Veronica were rockstars and made me feel like a valued patient. Mrs. Angie for bloodwork is a hoot too. I can’t thank them enough for all that they did and I will be recommending this practice to all my friends and family.
Dr. Clapp was knowledgeable scientifically however she was not warm, encouraging or enthusiastic. I don’t think she smiled once in my 20 minutes of sitting with her. Once I left I felt like I had the same understanding as before I received my consult. I feel like I wasted my money on a consultation because I’m still in the same position. I’ve received more information with my primary care physician and obgyn than I did seeking a specialist. Not happy at all.
Office is extremely difficult to find if you never been here- here’s so instructions to help everyone else out…. Park in garage 5 , go to level B and then down to the lobby , elevators in left hand corner floor 13. Your welcome in advance 🙏
They way they charge you really shady. I agreed to self paid for any test and service before they proceed and no using insurance. After that Lab Corp, a lab they use kept sending over due bills for over $4,000 and told those amount are for some other tests which we declined from the beginning. Solving this issue with them is a nightmare when they keep passing it to different departments.
Veronica & Roxxann are AMAZING. They have been so supportive every step of the way. I cannot say enough nice things about them. I will leave a more detailed review later but for now needed to leave this at the very least to give them some much needed recognition.
I like dr Abdullah very much. He explained me everything with cause and effect. Even though his nurse and lab technician was so nice. They pampered me very well. Only one thing I don’t like the front desk lady. She is rude. And never give you any smiles also. She is irresponsible regarding your billing and don’t let you know before anything. Hopefully next time she will change her mind.
The experience was wonderful at HFI! The entire team is extremely caring and thoughtful. Dr. Clapp took her time answering all my questions and made a stressful process much more pleasant. She is extremely patient and always so positive which was very reassuring for me. The staff were very responsive when it came to last minute prescriptions or lab results. My husband and I are very grateful for the entire experience at HFI and the positive outcome we were blessed with!
Dr Clapp was very thorough and answered every question and concern. Even though we couldnt find the root cause for my particular problems, she never gave up and always offered a solution and a new approach. The staff is beyond attentive and professional. I have nothing but great experiences from this practice. Im leaving this practice with 2 healthy embryos stored and currently at 13 weeks pregnant after one year and a half of attention and treatment. Thank you HFI.
Dr Abdallah was outstanding from the start. Even before we began he gave us all the information and expectation. His dedication to us and answering all our questions help us fell appreciated and what our best chances for a successful baby. The staff all three locations were great. Treated us as family and again always answered our questions. The staff at Kingwood were exceptional with taking care of us and providing updates with our progress. Thanks to everyone for helping us with such an amazing gift.
After 3 artificial inseminations, 3 egg retrievals, and 2 unsuccessful IVFs, we finally achieved getting pregnant thanks to Dr. Mazen Abdallah and his great team. We are very grateful, and also to Veronica and Roxxan, their nurses, and the lady who always took my blood samples. Thank you all!!!
So I went to see Dr. Abdallah yesterday and paid my $60 copay for a 10-minute visit with him. They wanted to run blood tests right away but I wanted to make sure my insurance was going to cover the testing since they did not call my insurance to confirm prior to my arrival. I got a call from their office an 8:30 this morning saying my insurance denied the testing. After going back and forth with them I found out it was denied BECAUSE Dr. Abdallah ALREADY diagnosed me as infertile with a 10-minute conversation and NO TESTING to back it up. He took everything I said about being in a relationship for 5 years and intimate once/twice a month as me being infertile. The ovulation window is 1 day a month. WTH! I am NOT happy with how this has been handled.
The online portal and payment system do not work. In addition, I got hung up on when asked to call by making a payment with the response being a serious error has occurred without touching any other numbers. Also, I was not notified about a credit to my account by Aspire.
The waiting time was ridiculous. Appointment at 2pm, checked in at 1:30pm. Waited until 4pm to see the doctor.Updated: even though the waiting time was awful but the service was good. Fast results.
Dr Clapp and staff, especially Yadira, were so helpful. We are beyond grateful for their services.
Everyone here is so friendly and professional. Feel comfortable and confident to follow doctors instruction. Step by step.
Dr Clapp and Dr Steward are amazing ! They will get you pregnant 100%! Highly recommend this clinic!
Nurses and staffs are just amazing. Dr Clapp is the best. You have both office memorial and medical center.
Overall, i was very happy with all of the care I received. I would recommend HFI to anyone.
So lovely and professional.
They just want your money! They don’t bother to call or give any info.
The doctor Abdullah was very good, as were his attentive nurses, and he answered all my questions that my husband and I asked him.
