First off I want to say don’t go by the comments and make your own judgement. We tried a different ivf company that was not good at all then we did tubal reversal until we decided to go back to IVF. I want to say the treatment was absolutely amazing. If I had any questions either the same day I would get a response or the following day early in the morning. We tried twice and luckily with the second time we made it. The first time I lost the baby after 6wks. But nothing the doctors or myself did wrong things like this remember tend to happen. But I didn’t loose hope and here I am. 3 months pregnant. The Dr and the staff were all very nice even the secretaries that check you in. I had a great experience with everyone. And as you can see a positive outcome and even if I didn’t I would still try them again. I see the comments regarding the insurance or the billing department I will say they are a bit slow but all you have to do is reach out to them. They will get back to you.
My entire fertility experience was a breeze with kindbody. My egg freeze cycle was easy to follow & pricing was upfront, which was great! My nurse, Taylor, was amazing - super responsive and helpful! All instructions were super clear and I felt supported the entire process. Would highly recommend for fertility treatment and I know if I need to go through further treatment, they’ll be the perfect clinic to go through.
We are fortunate that my husbands work benefit is through Kindbody. We feel so lucky to have worked with Dr Parikh. With each step I had a plethora of questions and she always answered them thoroughly. I was full of fears and she assuaged them all. Everyone in the office is very kind. Because of Dr Parikh and her team, we are 10 weeks pregnant. The Arellanos
Dr. Parikh and the nursing staff are amazing!! They were very flexible with appointment times which was helpful with my intense work schedule. They also were very personable and took the time to explain things to me which is so important when dealing with infertility. They were also very responsive if I had any questions. We had a beautiful baby boy our first round and its all thanks to the thorough work and excellent staff. We are incredibly grateful for them!
Absolutely loved and enjoyed my experience with Dr. Parikh! She’s straight to the point (which I love and appreciate) but also very kind in her delivery. She explains everything in detail and gives all options without trying to steer you one way or the other. My husband and I went in for possibly IUI or IVF. Instead of starting off with this, she actually found the underlying cause of what was preventing me from conceiving. She performed my surgery herself at a nearby hospital, which again, she made as easy and calming as possible. Afterwards, we were actually able to conceive naturally! I just wish that now she could be my OB!The clinic is SUPER cute and the staff is very nice. It’s easy to communicate via online messaging.I truly appreciate her and am thankful to have undergone this experience with her
Id suggest doing your research and exploring options for alternative clinics. I will say this was the utmost worst experience me and my wife have endured. They are professionals in exhausting benefits and leaving you no option as to just give up or open your checkbook. We were recommended by staff to use there partner pharmacy in which later we realized we were charged $1,078 for a medication that we later purchased ourselves from CVS for $12. Again we would never know had we not done our own research and listened to there Proffesional referral. Only after our $20,000 limit for benefits were exhausted that we realized Kindbody was such a scam. Ultimately we were stuck at this point and now 3 failed FET to date. We still cant get a straight answer as to what could have gone wrong? It was a guessing game through the 3 FET attempts. All we are left with now is 1 Mosaic and 1 abnormal embryo. Im sad to say but they are now recommending that we proceed for a fourth FET with very high risks. Seems its a cash grab obviously why would a medical professional make a recommendation to proceed with something that absurd. Again they will get paid and Ultimately have that sorry phone call on speed dial. Its odd that its always a phone call and never much in writing correspondence. Id assume so its not publicly visible for others to know the truth behind the scenes. We will now avoid Kindbody all together. We did get a second opinion and I couldnt belive the difference. We actually sat down in a Dr office and discussed our situation. This was our initial visit to another Fertility clinic. Now go to Kindbody you will be shoved around small storage like rooms with medical assistants but will never find yourself sitting in a office to discuss your journey with the DR. Go to Kindbody yourself and ask to sit down with the DR you will only get a phone call. Me and my wife never had the opportunity to sit down with the DR to evaluate or scenario we were only given the option for a phone call and or video visit. Please people do your research and go visit a DR office where you can sit down and be comfortable. Unfortunately our insurance switched over to Kindbody otherwise Im sure we would not be in this situation. We are still not given answers as to why or what the issue could be. Just continued guessing.
I did one round of egg donation with Dr Parikh and her staff, and then chose to do two rounds of egg freezing for myself with them as well!As someone who has been in a solo-doctor practice, let me tell you that Dr Parikh is top notch. Her devotion to her patients is impressive, especially given the emotional nature of fertility practice for us as clients! Her willingness and ability to work around my rather inconvenient schedule was profound. I honestly don’t know how she keeps it up for multiple clients. She is direct, but empathetic, a hard line to walk for a physician, but exactly what we need from our providers in that line of work. I strongly believe she will not recommend procedures or treatments unless they are truly in the best interest of her clients! The egg collection itself was great as well. I have heard some horror stories from other women who have undergone fertility treatments in the past, but I had 3 rounds of collection and they were great! My recovery was always swift and uneventful. Dr Parikh and the nurses even celebrated with me when I had an extra-productive last round! They are genuinely emotionally invested.I really appreciate their extended hours for ultrasounds and rechecks! I have a busy work schedule and this allowed me to maintain as much consistency at work as possible while still undergoing the involved process of stimulation and collection. The nurses were excellent and there was always someone available. They never made me feel “needy” during times when I was confused or rushed. The portal in general was great for communication. Although I do recommend trying to schedule follow up appointments in person when you can, as sometimes the portal didn’t allow for a follow up ultrasound and I had to schedule under a different type of consultation.
Everything was perfect! Every appointment went great. Dr. Parikh and the staff at Kindbody Houston were awesome. We are so glad to have had a great experience and a beautiful baby girl❤️
Dr. Toral Parikh and her staff are amazing. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am so appreciative of everyone at Kindbody guiding me through this a daunting and delicate fertility process. The staff and Dr. Parikh were very patient and kind. I highly recommend this practice!
My husband and I had a consultation at Kindbody in October 2023.The scheduling process was easy and everyone we spoke to on the phone was very nice. However, our actual appointment was very concerning. Dr. Parikh was running about 30-40 minutes late, which is understandable in a medical setting. However, we learned it was due to anesthesia being over an hour late for an egg retrieval that morning, which was the first red flag.We started by discussing my recent PCOS diagnosis and the doctor suggested we start a medication. There was no mention of doing IUI. We wrapped up with her recommendation, and then she said she had to step out to finish the egg retrieval that was running late but would be back in to address any questions we had. When she returned, she then recommended that we also try IUI with the medication, making us feel like she looked up treatment options while she was out of the room. After our consultation, both my spouse and I gave blood to have genetic carrier testing performed. We later learned that we were supposed to be given a card to create a log in for the blood test service. Neither of us received this card. After about a week, I received my results but my spouse was still waiting on his. After a few more days of waiting, my spouse messaged the office on the Kindbody portal and called 3 times, with no response. Finally, after 2 days of waiting, he was messaged back and informed they had lost his blood sample. When an incredibly important part of your job is keeping track of bodily fluids, this is a huge red flag! My spouse messaged back asking for confirmation that we would not be charged for this test, with no response being given. I canceled our next appointment and no one from Kindbody has reached out to us since.Kindbody is the only fertility clinic in Houston that our health plan covers. Rather than move forward with Kindbody, we are considering either paying out of pocket at another clinic, or not pursuing fertility treatments at all - that is how disappointed we are in their service. If you have any other option for a fertility clinic, I highly recommend you avoid Kindbody.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Dr Parikh during my egg retrieval procedure and overall egg freezing journey. From the moment I had my first conversation with Dr Parikh as well as when I stepped into the clinic, I felt supported and understood. I didnt know anything about egg freezing or the egg retrieval process and both Dr Parikh and Aneesa Husain were very helpful and informative.Dr Parikh has demonstrated not only unparalleled expertise in the field of fertility but also exhibited genuine compassion and empathy throughout the entire process. Her meticulous attention to detail and clear communication helped alleviate any concerns I had, making me feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. The procedure itself was executed with precision and care, and Dr Parikh ensured that I was well informed and prepared at every stage. Moreover, her dedication to personalized care truly sets apart her practice here at Kindbody. Dr Parikh took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all my questions and tailor the treatment plan to meet my specific needs. Her and her staffs unwavering support and encouragement gave me the strength and optimism to persevere on this journey. Thanks to Dr Parikhs expertise and guidance along with the Kindbody Houston team, I am now one step closer to achieving my dream of starting a family. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Parikh to anyone seeking compassionate and professional fertility care. She is not just a doctor but a true partner in the journey to parenthood.
Dr Parikh and her staff at Kindbody are amazing! Her personalized approach to treatment is none like I’ve seen before. Scheduling is easy and blood draws are quick (same day results)x She really cares about her patients and genuinely wants them to succeed in treatment.
Dr. Parikh and the medical staff are capable and kind people. The sonographer was sweet and efficient, the phlebotomist was able to access my tiny veins, and the nurses are responsive by portal. The problems, as I’ve read on other negative reviews, are with billing and communication. With my first retrieval, the ordering of meds too early was at great cost to me. These meds are expensive, and Schraft’s pharmacy can overnight them if needed, so there’s no need to order them months in advance. Because I ordered them in November (which I was encouraged to do since they don’t expire for a long time) but didn’t retrieve until February the next year, I spent thousands of dollars unnecessarily toward my deductible when I could have had it fully covered if I had just waited a couple months. On my second cycle, I was instructed to order almost double the doses than I ended up needing, also costing me thousands of dollars. You don’t need to order extra meds “just in case.” They’re expensive and can be shipped quickly if you need more later. It seems Kindbody is not at all conscious of the cost to patients. On my second cycle, I was told to book my next appointment on the portal, but the option to do so was not available on the website, which can be glitchy. Of course, working at a very busy job, I didn’t get to log on again and I slipped through the cracks. No one called to check on me or help re-schedule. For something as important and costly as IVF, I can’t imagine not a single measure is in place for this. And I was actively stimulating at this time! I realized later, messaged the nurse, who happened to be off that Thurs and Fri, so I never received a reply. Saturday morning, I called a main line in a panic because I was injecting every night without any oversight. A nurse from the NY office answered. Hours later, I received a direct call from Dr. Parikh, who thankfully created a plan for the situation, but it was still possible the cycle could fail because of the delay in starting the antagonist med. When I commented on the scheduling mishap, I was told “the onus is on the patient to schedule” and there are too many appointments to keep track of. *Any true caring medical practice would have called the patient.*Ultimately, the benefit of the Kindbody mill is that it churns out cycles, but that’s also its downfall. While it was convenient for me to come in for quick visits before work and interact on the portal, it felt very transactional without personalized care. This is a vulnerable time for many women, but the place is run like a factory. You don’t really ever see the doctor or ask any questions until the day of retrieval. And there’s no direct phone number to reach any medical staff or even an office line! I couldn’t reach someone for something as simple as leaving my lipstick at the clinic or as serious as hyperstimulation symptoms. It seems to me that Kindbody, despite its name, is more interested in business than caring for people. If you’re like me and have no choice based on your employer benefits, please be more aware than I was about Kindbody’s failings, and be vigilant with your health care spending and scheduling!
Dr Parikh and her team were great to work with. I was very worried about the process, but everything went better than I expected. I appreciated how available and responsive Dr P and her team were. She really cares and wants you to have the best possible outcome!
I cannot stress how terrible the service is, as if fertility and women’s healthcare isn’t stressful enough. The billing department is not responsive and not cohesive with the clinic, leading to overcharges that you constantly have to call them back for in order to update. Twice, I didn’t receive my results and one of those two times, a medical professional never called me to discuss. The front desk told me what my results were after I chased them down. Two other times, they rescheduled my appointment time for issues on their end and did not find timely solutions. Instead, I recommended a solution that they found easy to comply with. In the end, if you’re looking for seamless medical treatment, this is not the place. You’re better off (and likely cheaper) going to a hospital specialist.
Kind Body, Dr. Parikh, and her staff are 5 stars and amazing. I was actually a bit bewildered by the responsiveness and communication from the staff after years of sub-par womens healthcare. Every message or phone call was answered in a timely manner, and communication on the procedure was provided readily. The companys website and onboarding was efficient and smooth, which is great as a new patient starting the process. I also love how their pricing is on the website, and the biling is itemized and provided quickly (transparency finally!). We are still on our journey with Kind Body, but I am confident we are in good, caring, and capable hands. I also recommend checking out the diet/exercise consultant who provides information specific to your fertility journey.
5 stars isnt enough to give this facility. All the staff are truly amazing, kind and caring. When you walk in, its a beautiful calm relaxing place that puts you at ease. Not at all hospital or doctor office vibe. I would come here again and again just to be surrounded by these wonderful people.
My employer recently switch our fertility benefits over to kindbody. Unfortunately, they signed a contract with kindbody that makes IVF treatment much more expensive than it was before. Ive had 2 rounds of IVF with the previous plan. Now that my employer switch to kindbody a $20,000 LTM gets one round of IVF. They initially gave me the wrong amount for total cost of the IVF treatment. I went from owing $1050 to over 5k in a matter of weeks. They also tried to charge a cancelation fee of over $2,500 when the cancelation was not my fault.I have no issues with Dr. Parikh or her team of nurses, ultrasound tech or phlebotomist. My only issue is the fact that a bogus contract was signed and the illusion was they were making fertility treatments more affordable when they absolutely did not.
Ive been visiting different reproductive medical practices over the past 6 weeks, so I can find a doctor and medical office that will provide the care and expertise I need to help me become a mom. I learned of Kindbody from a friend who used them in another state. Kindbody is a franchise medical group. My biggest criticism and why I chose not to move forward with Kindbody is no one ever wants to feel like they are getting a back alley medical procedure done -- and visiting a medical practice with staff that has visible tattoos downgrades the experience, and the tattoos were vulgar, too. It was shocking to see that allowed, and made this option an easy no, for me.Secondly, Kindybody rates are similar to other providers, but you spend more time with the nurse and nurses assistant than you do with a doctor. If Im not seeing a doctor, why am I being charged doctor prices??I had a total of 3 appointments. 1 in person and 2 virtual. There were no doctors in the office at all during my in person visit. The medical practice seemed to be run by nurses and their assistants. My doctor was a no-show to my last virtual appointment, and no reason was given. I had questions regarding my labs that were shared during that virtual appointment that couldnt be answered and recieved no follow up.This location is newer and all of these issues can be fixed, if the doctor prioritizes the patient experience. However, I had to continue looking... and did eventually find a doctor and practice for me.
Very unresponsive to my requests for itemized receipts to submit for reimbursement. No one returns calls or answers phone.
Amazing experience! Love the staff! Doctor was wonderful and talked me through every step of the way!
My wife and I have had the greatest experience at Kindbody Houston. The staff is incredible, and Dr. Parik is, too. There is nowhere else I would rather be going through the journey of creating a family than at Kindbody Houston!
My wife and I transferred over from the Austin clinic to the Houston clinic and have had a wonderful experience with the whole staff. They have made the whole experience of starting a family memorable instead of stressful 💛
Great experience with the nurses, techs, embryologist & physician.
Completely information easy to understand
Incredibly professional staff. The doc is informative and kind.
