I initially called here July 3rd and to get an appointment scheduled. I was emailed a records request and intake/transfer form. I signed it within the next hour and called the following business day that they were open due to it being a holiday to check and see if they faxed it over to the primary clinic I was going to . I called many times to get updates just to hear “it’s being reviewed.” Not one single person I spoke to told me that it was faxed over. I spoke to a gentleman working there just for him to tell me that I needed to call the office I went to , to let them know to send over the records. It’s not my job to do that but I did anyway and they sent it over right away. It is now July 26th and I am being told that they do not have any of my records and cannot schedule me. They also won’t let you speak to a manager if you ask to. It’s just very unprofessional and I will just take myself elsewhere. They seem to be an unorganized clinic. They type notes in the system of each time I called but none stating a solution.
Dr. O is great but scheduling and trying to get someone to answer the phone needs improvement. I dont understand why fees are being charged over the phone for future appointments especially when youre insured and the co pay is supposedly covered. My suggestion is to verify your own benefits for peace of mind. Sending a message via the patient portal seems to be the best course of action concerning communication. I hope to have a better communication experience moving forward. Dr. O is my only reason for being a continued patient/customer.
I have never had a worse experience in my life. I went in 5 weeks pregnant and never not once saw my actual doctor. They just kept pushing me onto random other people I didnt even know. That Dr/NP acted like i wasnt their priority bc I wasnt their patient. I went there over 5 times never saw Dr. Leung. I miscarried about 3 weeks later and have still not verbally talked to my doctor. Talk about traumatizing. This wasnt my 1st miscarriage and even knowing that I still was treated carelessly. Cried in the office when my hcg wasnt increasing and they asked me can I ask why youre having such a strong reaction Had to beg for extra blood work and called and called and was told to just go to the hospital like they wanted to push the problem on someone else, even the Dr.s at the hospital were astonished that I never NOT ONCE during my entire pregnancy did I physically see my actual Doctor. Wouldnt trust them to babysit my dog let alone bring my child into the world. The pain they caused me is insurmountable.
This used to be an excellent facility a couple years ago. Then my favorite doctor left and the place went way downhill. The doctor I saw this time spoke to me for less than 5 minutes. She was so dismissive and impatient. I felt so unheard actually cried after my appointment. I left with more questions than answers. Definitely going to be switching to a different facility.
Dr Leung is an amazing Dr. She does well easing my mind and answering all of my questions for my first pregnancy. She takes her time explaining step by step what’s next in the process. I had a good experience at the beginning with the office, but lately I’ve been getting the run around on my insurance, payments, scheduling, etc. One person says one thing, a different person says another. I can’t get straight answers from anyone for the questions that I have. My Dr has been out of the office for over a week and it seems like everything has just fallen apart.
This clinic is only out to take your money. They email you the global fee document without any explanation or discussion and just expect you to sign it otherwise you lose your appointment. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to sign because I was planning on moving and would likely change obs. I asked if I could hold off signing because I didn’t want to pay for a fee if the office wouldn’t deliver my baby. But I had to sign at my appointment or risk losing the appointment. The front desk office said I would get a refund for the fees and guess what? When I call to discuss the refund they’re not able to do it. Surprise surprise. This clinic also doesn’t really explain what to expect at your next visit. It’s almost impossible to get ahold of anyone despite the different phone numbers, emails, and texts. I wouldn’t go here ever again. I never got the same provider either so couldn’t really form a relationship or connection with them. Overall bad experience from this office.
The visit was great. Friendly people, wait was short, Dr. was friendly clear with explaining things. My only complaint is when I call I stressed how urgent I felt my problem I was experiencing was but still I had to wait a week to get an appointment. Long Week!
I do not recommend at all. I haven’t seen the same doctor for any appointment and with it being a problem appointment you would want to stay with the same doctor. Even after asking to see the same one being disregarded for it and still not having the same one. The nurse who draws blood is very rude and demands to see a paper even when you were told to go straight there and were not given a paper. She also would not want to listen about any facts you might have to give. I ended up with a ruptured vein and a bruise because of it. Then you have a pay $25 to get a copy of your own medical records that should be available to you. The front desk people are great and the doctors as well but too many problems to even recommend this place.
Went here for 2 of my pregnancies. 1st was great Dr. Ogunlade and Dr. isola-Gbenla were amazing!!! 2nd pregnancy, there were some complications and Dr. Leung never made me feel comfortable, she always put fear in me and made me always think something was really wrong which no one ever wants to feel when expecting. there were lots of appointments and I eventually requested to be seen by Dr. Ogunlade again. Dr. Ogunlade shared her experiences with high risk pregnancies and made me feel much better. Fast forward to a couple more visits, I am now interested in getting on birth control, and every time I call, who ever answers the phone is NO HELP!!! They do not even try the smallest bit to help you with what you are looking to do, they are rude, hard to understand (dogs barking in the background) and absolutely no help. If you use this doctors office, be aware of how poor of an answering system they have, and opt for the more experienced doctors.
I typically don’t leave reviews but I feel like this may be necessary. I do think the doctors and staff here for the most part are good, however, I am pregnant with my first child after loss, and haven’t been given much counseling on the tests that have been run, or why. I went in for my 11w anatomy scan, and I had spoken to my doctor about possibly running and NIPT test, but that we weren’t 100% sure we wanted to run it. Well, when I went in for my scan, I was sent directly to the lab after, and they drew blood for this test. I assumed the doctor recommended this, so didn’t fight it. I came back for an increase in discharge around 12.5w and the test results came back all low risk, aside from one anomaly that had so result, which was Monosomy x. I was immediately told that I would be sent to a generic counselor and a high risk doctor for my 20 week anatomy scan. I was not explained to thoroughly enough what those results meant. I went home and was so anxious it sent me into a spiral I was unsure I would come out of. My husband and I even considered the pain of having to let our child go, as this is often a fatal disease with many developmental defects. Come to find out with my own research that this test is not even FDA approved, and has a high failure rate for that specifi anomaly screening. Not to mention that they switched my doctor without telling me, and when asked, I kept getting told she was on “vacation”. I do appreciate that I am not their only patient, but I feel as though very important medical steps are being missed. I do appreciate Dr Leung, as she has always been kind, and tried to answer my questions. They always get me in as quick as possible when I have a concern. I just wish they would put a little more humanity into their care.
The doctor was really sweet and helpful. I felt comfortable and heard in her care. The staff was not friendly at all and their interest in their job seemed way off.
I’m a current patient and this is my first pregnancy. This experience has been more disappointing than you could imagine. Im a transfer patient coming from really quality, intentional and amazing care out of state. My prior office has sent my records twice but pristine claims to not have received them nor do they follow up. My prior office also can’t reach anyone to address the issue. They do not answer the phone, and overall communication is VERY poor.I have called many many times, on different days, during different hours. Im always left with the high call volume answering machine. This is so malice. I know so many are being neglected and accepting this subpar service.Saving myself the headache and finding a new ob. Hope this helps someone. They truly are inadequate. Btw, I have never met the ob that I made my original appointment with and specifically researched to use. Reviews are outdated or fake.
There’s never a doctor on site. I always get a nurse. They are money hungry at this place . When I come in they can’t even answer my questions without asking for money: I have insurance and for some reasons I almost have to pay for every procedure here. Well I delcline once they ask for payment. Shut this place down immediately they are not for our health. I was there 3 days in a row and I couldn’t get my procedure done because there was no doctor on site . Or was that a lie to I basically paid 35$ copay for them to tell me I had to come back . I will be going else where.
WONDERFUL NEW PATIENT EXPERIENCE***** This place deserve a 5 star with the experience I had. I was in need of a OB asap. I was last seen with my prior OB on 08/30/22 and transferring from out of state at 28 weeks, not many practice office would even accept me as a new patient. I took a whole month trying to find an available OB. A lot of them were declining me because they do not accept any new patients passed 20 weeks, or due dates of 01/2023! That was unbelievable to hear! It was very disheartening.Discouraged thus far, my first time contacting Pristine office via call was very welcoming as they also reassured me that even if Im 28 weeks, they are still able to see me. I confirmed I have all my transferable medical paper work and they told me they could see me the very next day. This made me very happy. But I scheduled two days later instead. Now my goal was to work with an OB that is affiliated with the birthing hospital I wanted to birth at and this place does!I had courtesy reminder calls/texts for my scheduled appointment. Prior to your appointment for new patients - I highly recommend to complete your OB Registration form via online its convenient and makes your appointment process a breeze. Now, my first appointment with them was @ 8:45am and I was welcomed with a Good Morning! there was water available and a very clean televised waiting area for yourself +1. There are masks available with the receptionist as its mandatory to wear in the office. There are also hand sanitize pump stations throughout. I was seen at 8:45am. And completed my normal vitals prior to meeting with my OB.When my OB, Dr. Borel Fonhoue came in, she was sweet & pleasant and very understanding. She asked me questions that showcased she cared about my pregnancy and what Ive completed thus far. We identified where I left off on my pregnancy from my prior health provider and jumped right in to the next steps of my journey with my now new health care provider. I also asked if I could see my baby on ultrasound or hear his heart beat, and she said SURE... and because this wasnt a scheduled 3D/4D appointment, we done just the basic 2D ultra sound and a beat of my babys heartbeat. That was very nice of her to give me the assurance. It was great enough for me. My appointment with the OB was about 30-40mins long. I asked questions and answered hers. After our meet, I was forwarded to schedule with a medical assistant named America. She was quick and sufficient and sweet with answering my questions in availability and what not. We then scheduled for a future appointment to complete my 3D/4D ultra sound for a growth scan process. Because I needed to also reup on prenatal vitamins, America gave me samples of some of the prenatal vita that their office carry and its an opportunity for my body to find whats best to take and what I wont like. It came prepackaged in the cute bags (attached photo). All my future scheduled appointments also came with cards for reminders (attached photo) which is so good to keep if youre keeping a keepsake of your Pregnancy Journal, these are great to keep in it. (Which I am). I then left the office confident in choosing the right OB and is ready to give birth in 01/2023 at St. Lukes Vintage. In conclusion, I want to thank the staff and team at Pristine for being great towards me and towards my unborn baby. Not only have they eased my stress on finding what I was looking for, but I just am so thankful to have found them. Periodt. (I also included a photo of 3D/4D cost for future reference)
I had my last two pregnancys here 8 and 9 years ago and have returned for my current one I really love Dr. Ogunlade and her upbeat attitude shes simply amazing!
Been a patient since 2018 and have seen a massive decrease in quality of care and customer service since about 2020 when they started expanding. Multiple billing errors, poor and SLOW communication. Im on my 2nd pregnancy and switching providers almost 3 months in because I have yet to see my actual OB since the first appointment when I found out I was pregnant. I asked to have paperwork forwarded to a different office - did not tell them I was leaving or that the new office was an OB and they automatically CANCELLED all of my upcoming appointments without asking me (new OB hadnt accepted me yet - they wanted my records to see first!). Very, very disappointed.
Tried to call for information and to set an appointment…had the worst customer service experience from the receptionist ! turned me off from even wanting to pursue, i was rushed and there was attitude, very much lack of professionalism….
That’s it. I’m sick of this place. I have now tried going to get my blood work twice and they’re closed both times at two completely different times of day and I’ve tried calling multiple times and I never pick up. It will say they are open online, but they’re not. Mind you This is all after the doctor told me I had a Texas Sized BMI. I’m done with this place.
My daughter went to get her birth control implant removed before she goes to college is the DR Dayla didn’t want to assist her shame on you rushing her out of there she is just 18 years old and she also gave her the info giving her the wrong info.
Currently a patient. Figure out how to answer the phone. This is ridiculous. Your “high call volume” is not my problem. Hire more staff or stop taking patients. This has been anything but a routine pregnancy and I am not receiving the proper care.Update: Called 5 times this morning with no answer, not even in the billing department. Left a message, sent a text and still have not heard back. Was told (when I finally went in person) this is an answering service they use. Time for a new provider. There was also, nowhere to park, as usual.
This clinic does not respect your time. Our appointment was at 10:30am and we weren’t seen until after 12:00pm. We though about leaving but they prevent this by making you pay your bill up front!Edit to this post:The above review was for our first child. We decided to give Pristine a second chance for our second. We regret it and are promptly switching to a new clinic - that is Pristine ever answers our calls or emails to help fax the information to the new clinic. Ive called over 10 times over the past 6 weeks all at different times in the day and the line is always busy. I have to physically go into the office to get them to respond to me. I tried calling the office while I was in the office, and there are MAs and receptionists just chatting and lounging around not answering the phone.Communication aside, one of the OBs there has some issue with medical professionalism. My wife needed a pelvic/cervix exam and the OB who performed it (with her fingers) had extremely long fake nails.Medical Professionalism aside, they are very aggressive about cost. We had to reassure them many times that we could pay the $250 for bloodwork before they completed it. It took 5 weeks to get NIPT bloodwork done, when it usually takes 5-7 business days after coming in.
My experience was very pleasant and professional. Dr Oganlade made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions during my appointment..
I have been working on my fertility journey for the past three years and finding a doctor that was personable and understanding was extremely important to me. I found Doctor o for my routine Pap, and she was nothing short of amazing I almost cried, leaving because I’ve had such a bad experience in Houston Texas and she was such a breath of afresh air. She was very personable. She was extremely understanding. She made things sound a lot less complicated than other doctors had made them sound, and I was very relieved to have found someone that I felt that comfortable with. The front staff NEED MAJOR WORK. They are awful they don’t greet they don’t say anything . Dr. O needs better
I havent ever been to an ob/gyn who has a short wait to be seen, kind assistants, is incredibly thorough in gathering all information when you have a health complaint, suggests referrals to other specialists, and takes her time! Thank you Dr. Leung!
I recently went to this clinic for pregnancy and first there 0 parking I had to wait till someone left to park so that was horrible. Second I waited too long to be seen and when I was in the room waiting for the doctor without pants or underwear to get a vaginal ultrasound they forgot to put the part they needed, so I had to wait there for a long time naked and uncomfortable till the part was available. Third I called for a concern I had on Friday sadly they where closed I got the after hours and they said a nurse would give me a call back, I never received a call back, I called again and left a voicemail Sunday so they could call me Monday. So the after hours calls me idk why if the office was open and tells me that they would give me a call back at 2:30pm, they never called and if they did and I didn’t answer leave a voicemail so I know but nothing. I ended up cancelling my next appointment because I just did not feel safe or taken cared of there. The doctor was great but the communication is horrible. I want to be able to talk to a nurse if I have a concern and they don’t provide that, plus the wait and the whole appointment takes way too long I am now at a better clinic and finally feel comfortable. So just putting this out there for anyone pregnant looking into going here.Update I have not been able to speak to anyone but the after hours and still being promised a call back. I sent and email and a message to the number and email I was provided below let’s see if someone can help me get my medical records fax to my new clinic. You guys shouldn’t be stressing a pregnant person who could have a miscarriage at any moment during the first months.
The nursing staff were attentive and made sure our stay was comfortable throughout the stay
I would like to thank Zubaidut for going out of her way to help me. She was courteous and responded to me very quickly. Thanks again! However, the staff that work in the back office, the checkout desk was horrible. She talked so fast that I couldnt understand what she said. I had to ask her to repeat it and she got an attitude like she was trying to rush me out of there. She was looking at the screen while taking to me. She was very rude. They made me make Teo separate appointments to make me come back to the office to bill me twice. I really dont recommend this doctors office.
Wonderful practice. The office staff and doctors take time to talk with you about any issues you may have.
Highly disappointed in the service of everyone from the front desk to the OBGYN. They never answer the phone. The check in lady has been very rude every time I’ve come in and when questioned about anything she walks away without saying anything and speaks with the check out lady for her to take over the issue. I’ve had issues from them trying to reschedule due to them not having all of their paperwork and failing to communicate if I needed to bring anything…all the way to something as simple as confusion within their system as to where I was suppose to go for my next appointment. Due to an insurance issue I was unable to get in with an OB until later in my pregnancy and I fully informed everyone of the complete situation. My first interaction with the OB felt more like an interrogation rather than a consultation. Overall the entire staff comes across at incompetent from their communication with each other all the way to communication and customer service with their patient. I would recommend going to literally any other OB!
I wouldnt come back here if my life depended on it. I literally was in the room for OVER 40 MINUTES before someone came in. Lets backtrack, I filled out the paperwork needed for my appointment online as I was instructed to do. I changed my appointment type as I was given the option. I arrived and was taken back to a room almost immediately which was great. I was in the room for over 40 minutes with no explanation as to why I waited so long. Once the doctor comes into the room, I explained to her that my appointment type had changed, per my paperwork which clearly was not looked over. She then tells the front desk receptionist who comes into my room and states my new appointment type would be $75. When I first set my appointment I asked how much it would be, I was not given a response as they needed to run my insurance first, I asked for a call back when the price was obtained. No call back. As I informed the receptionist that I wanted to cancel my appointment (all while still in the room) she just said ok and left. At no point was I told I could leave or if any paperwork needed to be filled out (as Ive NEVER had to cancel a doctor visit WHILE at the office).Overall experience was terrible. The communication was awful. I would not recommend this place if this is how they treat clients. 0/5 stars if I could.
This is an awful clinic, they don’t answer the phonr, they don’t return messages, they put in referrals that you don’t know about, they charge you out of pocket even though you’re fully insured. I started seeing an Ob in November each appt after ive never seen my actually doctor. They have the worst front desk staff. Not sure how they’re still in business. Oh and its only about 8 parking spots i hate this place
On Feb 6 @3pm, I walked into this office with utmost faith and trust that’s it’s a SAFE place until my phone got stolen inside the building. The worst is being told by one of the receptionist that they saw the phone but hear this, they didn’t bother to keep it or ask if anyone has misplaced their phone. Within an hour, they (office security personnel) couldn’t trace the cctv footage to see who took it. Now, how can a patient trust this facility? I’m shocked 😳 this happened in a Doctors office. Excuse my trust but do you ever doubt a Doctor’s or hospital facility to be an unsafe space? What if I fainted or lost consciousness? Does it mean my property can be stolen from me? Get bodily harm? You see where I’m going? Please, the receptionists and security of this place. Your work is to help and protect whoever walks through your doors. I was barely 45 mins in this office and lost big time. Through your patient log and cctv footage, you can easily identify the thief. Why not help? I just want to ensure this never happens to another patient and for them to feel shook like I did. Thus, to whoever goes there, be aware you maybe on your own. Be extra vigilant and not be a victim like I did.
Is this place open for business because they literally do not answer the phone. I went to the hospital with my daughter first time pregnancy for her and needed a follow up visit for bleeding and they refused to make an appointment. No answer to the email. I tried calling multiple phone numbers. Tried the chat. No answer no call back just an email 2 weeks later. Customer service Where? Please stop making excuses for poor management. Since when do you need to jump through 2 loops of fire to get someone to simply answer the phone. This place is a joke.
This office sucks bad. Both my child and I are seen at this office and the experience has been sad to say the least. Since early 2022 I’ve seen a big decrease. My care being pregnant hasn’t been fun, they absolutely under no circumstances will answer the phone. If you want a doctor who can be reached this is not the place for you!
Love them all so nice and always in an out never have to wait more than 10min max .
So we called on a Friday morning before they opened and left a message about our toddler having a 102 fever. Instead of calling back they waited till after the weekend, after Monday, after Tuesdays office hours to *text* me at 6:30p asking if we still require assistance. This isnt the first time weve had this issue, last time we only waited 3 days before getting a response back from a humanBtw theyre proudly advertising that theyre opening up a new office in Spring Branch so watch out for that!
Very unprofessional! First they don’t answer their phones so it’s impossible to get a hold of someone! I tried scheduling an appointment and they needed my medical records beforehand, I sent them over and they stated they needed additional information that were already included in the documents I sent over and I had to guide them on what page to find them on. Which shows they didn’t even go through all the documents I sent. They stopped responding to me and a few days later I called to get the appointment finalized. I scheduled the appointment and then a week later they say they’re closed that day!
My daughter has been going here since she was born. Really seems since mr.E left it has gone completely down hill. I called a week ago because my kid had been sent. Only the people for the answering service answer yet they can’t set appointments. No one has called back I called again today they answered and hung up. My mother called a week ago as well for my kid and no one returned the call. At this point they need to be reported to the Better business bureau and I will make that complaint. Absolutely terrible service very sad!
LOVE THIS PRACTICE!!! Dr.O is AMAZING I love her and all her staff. Won’t ever look for another Dr besides her, Front Staff is also amazing the girls are always so sweet and understanding too. Love everyone there!!
I love my doctor. The cypress is closer to me but I found a doctor I really love at the houston location. I just went for my appt. The only thing I didnt like is the way I was greeted. You open at 8 and I did come in a couple minutes early. The door was opened. The first greeting I had was not very nice. Her back was towards me so I just said hi and proceeded to sit. It was probably 2-3 minutes before 8. The lady could of said hi there, I will be right with you have a seat. Instead she said I will help you at 8. I dont mind waiting until 8 but I do mind how I was greeted. There are nice was you can talk to someone. I am giving this a 5 star because I love my doctor and everyone else was very pleasant and professional.
My first appointment was good. I look forward to continue with my Doctor Jessica. I transfer from a different Doctor and I am glad she was taking new patients. First appointment was at 4 months pregnant. (it was hard to find a doctor). When transferring Doctors make sure new doctor is taking new patients for Due date....update I love Doctor O. She is the best.Doctor Jessica was good but left with out notice; I have had maybe 3 different Doctors same location, but my favorite is Doctor O. Professional and charismatic, best combination for a mom to relax and ask any questions. I love the facility, great location, clean, they can also offer a pediatrician for your baby, I had only one small inconvenience event with one of their workers (attitude) but over all is a great place and so far I will recommend it 100%. I cant wait for final update after having my baby. Thanks Pristine Care
Nothing short of amazing for OB and Pediatrics!! Dr. Aqel was the best ob Ive ever had, her bedside manner is amazing and she always made me feel comfortable and taken care of especially during C-section at 37 weeks because of high blood pressure. All staff at this office are phenomenal and very friendly!!!
Pristine has definitely gone above and beyond for me and my family! They take good care of me and my kids and I appreciate them to the fullest. Dr. Dayla Aqel is the best ob I’ve experienced she is very attentive and detailed she listens to what her patients want and helps in making the best medical decision. She delivered my baby girl and listened to all my wishes during labor. Thank you pristine and Dr. Aqel.
This place is so unprofessional, this is my first pregnancy when I first called they answered the phone and helped me out and too my information. One this they are bad at is answering the phone, I was told they were going to give me a call back a certain date and they didn’t I hate to leave reviews but this is really ridiculous they lost a new patient. Read reviews before going here.
This office is extremely unprofessional! Made an appt for a Saturday because it works out better for us, we show up at our appt time and the office says it’s closed!!! We wait for 30 minutes and no one ever showed up! That is ridiculous!!! I already have to wait 4-5 weeks to know if everything is going fine with the baby and to not have an appt honored when we set them is completely unprofessional!!! Not only this instance, but there have been other instances that I have observed utter disregard and empathy for me as the patient. They make appointments that are convenient FOR THEM, not you the patient. They made an appt FOR me that I didn’t even have a say so in. And it shouldn’t be that way. Front office staff is rude, appointment setting staff is rude. I have had nothing but a terrible experience since having to transfer over here.
I enjoy the clinic every time I come in. The staff is very nice and quick. I will be honest the communication is kind of bad. But overall I enjoy the closeness and staff at very nice. The NP who see me are very informative with my questions and give me good feedback.
Dr. O is the best! She has been doing my well women exams for years. I have never had a problem with booking a appointment. Her service is like no other. She gets you in and out. She very knowledgeable and understanding of her patients needs. Im proud to say that she is my doctor. I would refer her to anyone!
Dr O, her staff and this run down chicken shack deserves 0 stars. This experience is from January of 2022 as I’ve waited a very very long time to write this review. First off when you call to make an appointment you hear chickens cocodoodling in the background (that should have been my first red flag), and it was difficult understanding the person over the phone trying to make the appointment, 2nd the office is a house that has been turned into a clinic, which is fine, however I didn’t like that the bathroom wasn’t as clean and tidy as I would have liked a doctors office restroom to look. I only came here as Dr O was the only doctor that would see me so early, literally 4 weeks pregnant. My first visit with her as she was doing the ultrasound and I’m talking about my birthing plan she says, “You need to first worry about if this baby is going to make it through this pregnancy first, before we get to all of that.” She was referring to my fibroids and me being 40 yrs old, nonetheless, RUDE! That was the beginning of me running out of her office in tears. The next visit was another ultrasound in which Dr. O never came in the room afterwards to discuss the results, nor did she call me. I called numerous of times and put in multiple request for her nurse to call me back and discuss that ultrasound(which til this day, I still DO NOT know what was seen on it!) They continued to give me the run around and I NEVER spoke with or seen Dr O again. At this point I was going on 9 weeks and able to see another doctor, therefore I asked for my files to be transferred and I never looked back. Dr. O is rude, lacks tact, class and definitely has no bedside manner. Her staff is unorganized, unprofessional, inconsiderate, and lacks customer service.
I never even got to the point of going in person because of how bad the communication has been. I’m over halfway through my pregnancy and haven’t seen anyone or done any testing due to being abroad & would be going abroad again after a 3 week return to the states, so seeing someone during my return was crucial.I found this office on my insurance’s website and made a virtual appointment while still abroad- it was canceled by the office on the morning of the appointment. That was very disappointing.I then made an in-person appointment two weeks in advance, a bit short notice because I finally was able to secure my airline tickets to get back to the United States. This appointment was very important due to my limited timeline in the US and not being able to get in anywhere else so far, as mentioned to the person who booked for me. I mentioned wanting to verify they were in-network, as sometimes that’s incorrect on insurance websites. This call center person said they didn’t have that information and I’d have to wait for “them” to call me with that information shortly before my appointment. I stressed to them that I needed to know ASAP since I would be traveling very soon and would need to quickly search for another provider if this one isn’t in network. They said they’d contact the correct department to reach out to me.I wasn’t called by “them” after a few days so I called again to stress the need just days before returning to the US. I was told the same thing, that a message would be left with “them.” I was told some new patient paperwork would also be emailed to me for completion before the appointment.I called again once in the US, 5 days before my appointment. I called the actual office this time, and was told again that they couldn’t verify if they were in-network for me and the other office would have to reach out to me. I explained that this hasn’t happened after waiting a week & a half, but I couldn’t get an answer. So I frantically started calling dozens of other OBGYNs to secure a backup appointment because I all but lost my faith with Pristine.I searched for an appointment all that day and secured one with a different provider the following business day, after 30+ calls. I may have been able to to secure an appointment earlier, had Pristine told me from the beginning if they were in network or not. I was lucky that another OB had an opening within my travel window in the US.Later that day, 2 days before my supposed Pristine appointment, the call center called. The girl only called to confirm my appointment again. She couldn’t tell me if they were in network and reminded me to complete the new patient paperwork- which still hasn’t been sent. She gathered my information again to have it sent & reiterated that I still have an appointment on the books, even though my network hasn’t been confirmed yet. She said someone would “hopefully” call me the next day (the day before the appointment) to confirm my network. Thankfully I’d gotten a backup appointment elsewhere for the following week. The day before the appointment nobody called me. I still haven’t received the new patient paperwork to complete. I have to rely on rides while back in the states since my car is being rented, so this morning when I woke up and saw I still hadn’t been called for my appointment that would be in less than an hour, I decided not to even go. I’m always someone who formally cancels things as a courtesy but I’m doubting my appointment was even truly booked or cared about. What a disappointment. This is the only OB office I’ve encountered that can’t immediately confirm whether an insurance plan is in-network. Honestly I’m glad it didn’t work out because communication with them is a nightmare.
Very happy with my experience. First time seeing this doctor and she was wonderful! I will be going back!
You are not able to contact the individual clinics directly you have to go through their central phone tree. So forget about ever calling a doctor or nurse directly with questions.Theyve also recently changed the proceedure for scheduling appointments. Ive called twice over a 3hour period just to have my request for an appointment passed along to our clinic. And the paitent portal appt request widget is brokenService has really gone downhill over the last year, looking for new drs
First of all Dr. O. is amazing in every way. I was seeing her before found out I was pregnant. The first few months of my pregnancy were with Dr. O. and then she was not available so someone else came in, from that moment I have been seeing different doctors every visit until now. Its crazy when I go in and I get asked why I am there.I have 2 other kids and by far this is my worst experience. Things come up but never have I ever had to see so many different people during my pregnancy. Its impossible to build trust and develop a relationship this way. Today I requested a call back from a nurse or someone that can answer my questions, and what do you know, I did not receive the call. This is the second time its happened. My nurse appointment was for 11am today, 12/1/22 and nothing. I wish it wasnt too late to change my OB because now Ill have a total stranger delivering my baby.
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. From the moment I tried scheduling appointment, communication has never been there. I left the office because they did exams I did not want done. I proceeded to move to another OBGYN office, have been trying to get my OB care refund from this company for 2 months now. I have emailed with no response. Have scheduled appt to talk to billing, appt’s have been confirmed, waited for calls and never got them. Supposedly they had given me the refund, wish I never received. It’s like going through a rabbit hole trying to communicate with these guys. If you want an office that is professional and will handle your needs and concerns do not come to this office.
The most terrible experience Ive had in an office, first of all we scheduled online, could never get ahold of them via phone & I should known then! The girl at the front desk, was so unprofessional and rude. Ive never had more than my specialty copay and I was charged way more, when I questioned it she answered well I dont know, I dont deal with billing. I paid because the appointment was for my daughter & a hospital follow up at that! For nothing they didnt even examine her was supposed to be seen by Dr.O instead seen by someone else what a joke of an office I paid 140$ to be told your good & not examined! Im beyond frustrated & hope after my EOB I can get a refund on the difference because they honestly dont even deserve my copay!
Got really nice services, patient’s comfort and wellness is top tier 👏 Bravo, I highly recommend this clinic
The doctors are amazing but the front office staff is sub par. I had to call back 3 different times before anyone answered the phones to schedule my appointment. The receptionists also aren’t very friendly.
First off. Not sure what’s going on with their phones. I called 7x in 4 days and it just rang and rang. Finally someone called me back and I was told I was over due for my well women exam/pap smear (last one was in 2021). I was told I could not get a birth control refill until I scheduled that. I requested a day to get both done at the same time. I was told I could not have a well women exam and a birth control refill on the same day due to my insurance. I was pretty confused considering nothing changed in my insurance. She scheduled me for two different appointments. One for a well women exam and the other for just a birth control refill. A few days later I called again to make sure that was correct and she told me I COULD do both the same day that she wasn’t understanding what I was saying before… anyway.. the day of my appt comes and I get an email that my appointment was at 11:15 when I scheduled it for 12:20. I call to make sure my appointment wasn’t moved and again, could not get through due to phones just ringing and ringing. I show up to my appointment and the provider who seen me asked me why was I coming in for a Pap smear if I wasn’t due for one. I let her know the lady on the phone said I was way over due and could not get a birth control refill until I got my Pap smear. My blood pressure for some weird reason was in the 140’s so she refused to give me the birth control refill and told me I could either change birth control or she couldn’t do anything for me. I’ve been on the same birth control for 6 years and did not feel comfortable just making a quick decision if I haven’t done research. I work for a clinic myself and if someone’s blood pressure is high we usually have them wait 10-15 minutes before we check it again. She kept saying “well you must have history of blood pressure” when I in fact DO NOT. I checked my blood pressure myself at work today and it was 126/85. She basically told me I needed to be on meds for high blood pressure and idk how many times I told her I DO NOT have high blood pressure nor do I have a history of it. This appointment was a waste of my time. They didn’t even offer to recheck my blood pressure or to come back another day. Her exact words were “nuva ring is not an option you can explore other options” and “you can go check out” like ??? No reschedule? I wasn’t told to come back another day to recheck my blood pressure or anything. I’m super disappointed in this office.
Edit after being billed: the office made me pay upfront before being seen, saying it was towards my deductible. Once I received my EOB (Explanation of benefits) from my insurance, I seen the office billed them the same amount & did NOT put what I paid them to my deductible. Ive called several times for my reimbursement & have yet to get a call back. DO NOT use this place.Went in for a prenatal visit (1st one at this clinic), the receptionist was rude. Once seen, they did not do any blood work to check HCG levels, progesterone, etc. Very inadequate. Do not recommend this office! Save yourself the time & money and go someplace else.
I was really impressed with the services I received at pristine. The front staffs were very polite and welcoming. I was tired and stressed but just walking in and the way I was received as very calming. The waiting area was cozy and relaxing. Everywhere was clean and pristine. I didnt wait too long for my appointment with the doctor. The examining room was clean and had a fresh scent (when you are pregnant, your senses gets more intense). The Doctor was very friendly, she listen and addressed all my concerns professionally but I still felt like she was a friend giving me knowledgeable advice. I left pristine feeling relaxed and confident that I was in good hands. Its been a while I got good services and I am happy I got this at pristine.
I had an amazing experience with Dr. O, and I am almost tempted to have another baby just so she can sort me out AGAIN. I was worried during my pregnancy, but she patiently listened to all my concerns (even the silly ones) and was sincere in her responses which always calmed me down. The office was always clean, and I had no issues with scheduling appointments. As with any doctors office, there were a few times that I had to wait, but that was totally understandable knowing that Dr. O wouldnt spare anything to ensure each expectant mother was satisfied before leaving her office. Will definitely use her again!
Ive had a short but not short enough experience with this clinic. I was told back in March I would need to schedule a procedure and was told someone should call you this or next week to schedule its now nearing may. Im curious to see how women who actually have pregnancies get treated If they had serious issues ?! Would they also have to wait this long for an appointment? I had to call them daily to be told I would need to make a payment of about 200 to schedule my procedure. I said okay and went to the clinic in Cypress myself on a Friday morning to pay so I could get a physical receipt. I was told someone should call you today (Friday) or Monday for scheduling that was April 16 and so far nothing. I was told I would get emailed information regarding my care? Nothing. At this point they are STEALING my money because I paid for a service that is not being taken care of...when I had called a nurse for additional assistance...she hung up on me and didnt answer when I called back. We are in a pandemic where finances are already thin....and my money was definitely quickly taken out of my bank for this but all Ive heard was white noise since them for the actual service. At what point are we okay with using the word THEFT and it being associated with not only a business but a clinic that takes care of our women and women dealing with pregnancies. Does this business need to be reported to BBB?
My experience here is always amazing. I’m someone who has to pay out of pocket so I greatly appreciated getting a call before my appointment about the estimated cost. Dr. Barrera helped me feel comfortable during my visit and listened to all my concerns and questions. I left after my appointment feeling heard and overall happy with my experience here. 😊😊
I was a recent patient here for OB services and I switched to a new facility. Pristine has some great doctors but overall, the experience was not worth the hassle. The admin staff is very rude. I was once late to an ultrasound appointment by 13 minutes and my appointment was cancelled. When I came to my newly scheduled appointment, I had to wait 55 minutes to even be seen! My husband was furious. Additionally, my pregnancy was deemed high-risk because I am having twins. My doctor was quite busy for most of my visits so I was often seen by other people who were available. No one EVER knew who I was or that I was having twins. It made me feel so uncomfortable that no one had even taken the time to read my file before attending to me. I had several tests (including my nipt test) come back with abnormalities just for us to find out later the staff forgot to inform the testing facility I am pregnant with twins. Insane. My final straw happened during a routine urine sample testing. I gave a urine sample and found out 3 weeks later the results were positive for a UTI. By the time I was made aware of the fact I had a UTI (I had no symptoms) it had evolved into a kidney infection. I had a fever of 102° and was hospitalized for 2 days. My OB never showed up to the hospital to check on me and when I saw her on my next visit, she told me she never thought I had a kidney infection in the first place (even though the doctors at the hospital told me I did and gave me 3 rounds of antibiotics to cure it). After this, I found a new doctor. At my last pristine authorized visit with my MFM, I was informed I had fibroids that needed to be monitored though out my pregnancy. Never once was I told this with Pristine. I was also made to sign an “OB Global Agreement” to make payments toward my delivery. When I left the facility, I requested a refund since I was no longer delivering with Pristine. All of my emails went unanswered and I began sending out reminders weekly. Suddenly I received a refund from pristine yesterday with no follow up email, receipts or notice. Thank goodnesses I kept all receipts to be sure I got all my money back. I know this is a lengthy review but I want to help as many birthing people as possible.
Everyone was extremely friendly.. and I loved the doctor, she was made the process easy and made me feel less nervous about the entire process! I had to cancel my appointment because I don’t have a car anymore but when I get it fixed I will be going back. And will tell others how my experience was! Thank you
Okay experience; not happy with office staff and felt I could have been given better care overall. Office staff tells you one thing over the phone and completely different in person after you pay them. Turned out I went to the hospital emergency room to get immediate better care 2 days later. Also, no follow up call from any of them after over a week. No test results provided in writing or over the phone, either of which I was told I would receive.
Went here for my second pregnancy due in 2020 and now going for my third pregnancy due in 2022. I love all the providers but Dr. Placette and Dr. O are the very best! I do usually have to see different providers because sometimes they’re delivering babies and such things but even the other providers are so knowledgeable and make me feel super comfortable. I recently had my 20 week scan and the tech was outstanding explaining what we were looking for.
Seen the NP Marissa Garcia-Langford today. They are very money driven here. I expressed my concerns and she immediately stated she’ll have to change the visit type which is okay but next time hear the patient out before you jump to payment demands. While trying to contact my HSA company she left the rooms several times to “see other patients” which, again is fine but try to be a bit more empathetic towards what the patient is going through. The black lady that does the labs for Quest. She was on her phone didn’t even offer a greeting. I will not be back to this location ever again! And the heavyset Hispanic lady at the front, literally looks like she does not want to be there checking people in at all! LOOK else where ladies, if you can.
This place is awful and the answering people or girl in incompetent and not helpful what so ever. They need better patient service and call center. I’ve never had such horrible experience at an obgyn office. Doctor also doesn’t take the time to get to know you. Last week I was in pain this is my first pregnancy so needed an appointment that day the girl who answers the phone told me “well we don’t have anything so you have to go to the hospital” completely unexceptionable. For some who works at a physicians office we do everything to work in an emergency patient. Would not recommend this office for your obgyn care.
Absolute worst customer service! I’ve been trying to have my medical records transferred for 3 weeks now (uncomfortable with doctor) and when I call they are unorganized, confused and absolutely unprofessional. I was never told I had a balance after I had requested my medical records be sent. TWO WEEKS LATER I receive a phone call stating I had a balance and it needed to be paid before my medical records were able to be sent. I paid my balance and received an invoice in the mail. I called to make sure everything was paid and to check on my records status. The woman was rude and short and couldn’t give me a straight answer. I am pregnant, I am not looking for a new dentist. Get your act together. I will be telling everyone about the horrible experience I’ve had with this practice. Stay away!!!
Dr. O is amazing! She really cares about you and the health of your baby. She made me feel like family and her staff was very kind and amazing as well. Except with 1 or 2 exceptions with a worker in the front but thats okay. You dont deal with them just the nurses in the back and Dr. O and all of them are AMAZING!I will definitely return whenever I have another baby and I already recommend this place to everyone!
I cannot recommend Dr. O enough. Both pregnancies I came to the Hargrave location and even though I was on Medicaid, I never felt like it. They treated me with kindness and respect, everyone from Dr. O to the sonographers, to the five or so NP’s I also saw while I was there. With my first baby, Dr. O was on call at the hospital the night I came in and her shift ended right as I came in. She made it a point to come back at 3:30 in the morning to deliver my baby (even though she was pregnant herself). I think that speaks a lot to the kind of person she is. She brought lots of positive energy and laughs into a situation that was scary for me and was able to ease all of my fears.Everyone on Dr. O’s staff is friendly and warm, especially nurse Abby. She always kept me laughing and we had great conversations during my checkups. I always left with a smile on my face and I am so grateful to everyone at Pristine OBGYN for making my pregnancy journey an enjoyable one.
Dr. O and her staff gave me excellent care from the moment I stepped in her office to when I left! Dr. O made me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as I met her. She educated me and talked me through my diagnosis and even followed up with me much later in the evening to discuss further findings from the radiologist. She is warm, caring, funny and compassionate. I have recommended her to all the women in my life that need outstanding care like hers.
Fairly new patient at this location and love each experience I have had. The nurses make me feel comfortable and welcome, also very professional. It was tough for me to find an new ob-gyn within my network because the care I will receive is very intimate but so far I have no complaints about Pristine. Thumbs up to all of the staff! Being a nurse as well I appreciate their bedside manners.
Dr O herself is wonderful. She delivered my first daughter and I could not have been happier with her. I am pregnant with baby no. 2 and she was the obvious choice. Her office staff is terrible. They have no idea how to bill out your insurance correctly, I told the girl there was a spend account attached to my insurance so I shouldn’t have to pay anything and she told me that I could pay the balance or I would not see the dr. No one answers the phone when you call, it’s all automated and they don’t call you back until after hours or the next day with no helpful information. I needed a drs note for the dentist and they told me it would be 1-2 days until they could fax one over, mind you this is after I told them in the office I needed it and didn’t get it. I was standing at the dentist office and had to cancel my appt and make another. I found a new dr and cancelled all my appts with Dr O. I’m leaving this review in the hopes that she sees it and other reviews like it and replaces or retrains the staff in her office as she is a wonderful dr.
Horrible customer service from staff. I called the urgent line because I was in pain they didn’t even call back or acknowledge my concern. I did my glucose test instead of calling me with the test results I receive a phone call from another clinic telling me they are concerned and scheduled me for urgent appointment. Well if it was so urgent how come my OB did not contact me at all. I scheduled a nurse call back at 2:30 and it’s 4:41 and I have not received a call. I called in regards to this call not being made and all I get is someone will you. Just seems like my baby and I are not valued. I will not be referring anyone.Update nurse called me back at 4:55pm
I had an appointment today and Dr. O was AWESOME as usual!!!! Shes very professional and made sure she explained everything and that I understood. We need more doctors like Dr. O!!! She makes you feel very comfortable, shes very easy to talk to and her staff is amazing. I may have waited 1 minute and that was to fill out two forms. In and out quick and extremely satisfied like always.
Dr. Ogunlade is an excellent by OB Doctor! She has a true love for her profession and her patients. She also delivered my 2 sisters babies. During my visits, she went above and beyond to make sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. She gives very knowledgeable advise and was never in a hurry. The office is clean and comfortable. My sisters also love her. I always recommend her to all my friends and family. She truly is an exceptional Doctor!
Office is nice and clean but the staff is horrible! They don’t keep up with records. You have to request things needed pertaining to your visit. For instance I’m on my second baby and I knew I needed a my glucose test done. I remember having it done with my first baby and they said I was overdue for it after I mentioned it! One main thing you should also consider is this office is MONEY HUNGRY.... If your not mindful they will charge you and your insurance double. I was also turned away for a visit because they requested $200 to be paid upfront and told me they forgot to set up a payment plan so I had to pay the entire thing the day of my appointment to be seen ! I also questioned why were they constantly charging my insurance for pregnancy test with each visit if my test had already been confirmed. The secretary stated “it’s routine” You also only see the midwife throughout your pregnancy and the doctor one or twice. When you meet the doctor she only sees you for a brief 5-10 min after having you wait for a entire 45 min to be seen. If you explain your issues they don’t really take it serious. When a referral is needed you have to keep following up. This office is just not somewhere you should go if you are having a baby. If you need a gynecologist maybe but I wouldn’t trust them as a OB.
I made an appointment because my insure cover this providers however they denied seeing me because I was a new patient. I have gone through so much with losing my baby at 20 weeks. I was just hoping to see a Doctor and get care.
It was my first time getting a pap smear/ going to a OB-GYN doctor at the age of 27 and I was kinda nervous the nurses were very nice, and so was the doctor she made me feel very comfortable and answered any/all questions I had for her. I don’t have insurance and it was very affordable as well not to expensive
Planning for us to have a bay was not easy and i finally got pregnant, i was hoping to find an OB/GYN who I could trust to have my best interest in mind. My husband did his research and found Dr. O to be recommended as one of the best doctors in the Cypress area. Throughout the entire pregnancy, Dr. O and her staff were more than amazing. I always felt like i have people who had the best interest at heart. I now have a baby and i will never choose any other Physician than her. My family members will be joining her practice too. Thank you Dr O and your amazing staff.
Come here if you like your time being wasted. Had an appointment for my 6 month old daughters vaccines, they called me the day before to confirm. Went and turns out they only had 1 vaccine, the pediatrician forgot to call to tell me they didnt have the rest. They wanted to set up an appointment for another date at much further location, which my wife is not too comfortable driving to. We told them to let us know when they had the vaccines in this location. After 1 month of calling them and getting the well call you back which they never did, we decided to make the appointment at the other location they have. They called the morning of they appointment to confirm. What a surprise when my wife arrived and was told they did not have the vaccines 😡. We are switching to a different pediatrician.
Ive never been to an obgyn before and I went in today for my first prenatal appointment , and I couldnt have felt more comfortable! The doctors seem to be very knowledgeable , ask if you have questions throughout your visit, and make you feel very comfortable . Not to mention the lady who drew my blood was absolutely great , and Ive always been scared of needles but I barely felt a thing ! Its a great atmosphere , feels very at home. Although the ladys in the front dont seem to smart, they are still very kind, the nurses also helped me feel welcomed . Scheduling appointments were also very easy and convenient ... Will be my go to obgyn throughout my pregnancy and after that! Best staff Ive ever met .. I just wanna go on and on about how great it was ! Only thing is I did wait about 15 min past my appointment , but I was a new patient so no worries . Highly recommend to anyone whos skeptical about where to go !!
Amazing first time at this OBGYN. The paperwork was easy, everything was fast and on time, and I was in and out. The doctor that took care of me was so nice and seemed to genuinely care about my health. I would recommend this place to everyone.
This by far the worst experience Ive ever had! Nothing but the run around! Appointment was made at the wrong location to see a doctor, not a nurse. However Abi, the nurse that I seen was great! The front office staff is a joke, very unprofessional & incompetent of handling patients. No apology or concern for the error they made. I was sent to the hospital to get an ultrasound with the wrong orders after being sent to the wrong office for my visit. Its sad when possibly good doctors get ruined by poor, careless staff. I do not recommend this place! Not a good experience for a new patient! Or I should say, any patient!
I was a patient of Dr. O at the Spring location. I love Dr. O however, apparently she has been out of the office on leave, and I have never received such horrible service than I do now. The office seems to be only about money. Im 17 weeks pregnant and was refused service because I didnt have to the full amount of the payment they requested at the time of my visit. I offered to pay half and the RUDE front desk rep stated no we cant see you. Not one time did she ask if I had any complications or issues, which would deem the visit medically necessary she literally let me leave the office with out any care. This office seemed fine as long as I was going for routine check ups pap-smears. Now that Im pregnant they have dropped the ball in a major way! Currently trying to transfer to a new doctor now!
Dr O is amazing! This was my first visit to this office since moving to Texas and she made me feel so welcome. She is such a positive light and so down to earth. I am so glad I chose her for my medical care. The staff was very friendly as well.
Love Dr. O! Shes absolutely wonderful, trusting, knowledgeable, and makes you feel comfortable. (Seriously the best doctor. I havent met any other doctor like her.) Another plus is that youre greeted with friendly staff as soon as you walk in the door; there is never a long wait at this office. Quick and Easy! As long as Dr. O is at this location I will continue to go here!
Hate is a very strong word, but I truly HATE the scheduling procedures. I was on the phone 36 minutes and NOTHING got resolved with rescheduling. It was miserable! I was given a day, time, and location and after I told them that it does not show the location online, the scheduler agreed. Pristine has to have a BETTER way for their patients to schedule appointments, leave messages, ask questions, etc. I am hoping the doctors give me a much better experience!
They never answer the phone my baby health is on the line worst OB-GYN ever
First off…. Dr. O is amazing!!!!!!!! She is who I come to see. I have no complaints with her. She does her job well but more than anything, I know and feel that she cares for me at every visit I see her….I took away two stars because the staff at the front desk and a particular nurse that did my temperature/bp can use some office etiquette and treat everyone with respect. They really need to work on their customer service and acknowledge a person when they walk in, to communicate with each other better. The lack is not a one time occurrence, I walk in and they are not happy multiple times. But there’s an instance, the last time I came in which was on July 29th, I walked in, nobody greeted me, they just stared down at their computer and spoke with each other. After I signed in the lady at the front desk gave me a sticker and told me to have a seat someone would be with me shortly. After about 5-8 mins a nurse comes to me in the open and she states to me very rudely Ma’am I’m not going to be able to confirm your pregnancy until you submit your urine. I was so embarrassed and caught off guard because the lady told me to have a seat. . Needless to say I was not happy and my BP was high.
I’ve had an amazing experience with the whole staff. They are very welcoming and my OB has been great while going through my first pregnancy! I only have a couple more weeks till my baby girl is here and couldn’t have asked for a better clinic!
Very very disorganized, I scheduled an appointment online i got the confirmation in my email with confirmation number that my first prenatal visit was supposed to be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM I called to confirm my appointment was scheduled and to see if I was able to bring my significant other to the appointment since he is the father and its our first these arent moments you can get back!!! Its very frustrating when you are 8 weeks pregnant trying to get into the doctor and the doctors office cant seem to stay organized and on top of their websites. I will not be going to this doctors office if this is how its going to be. If I could rate it 0 stars i would. Please update your systems stay on top of things and call your new patients :) thanks.
I was very nervous for my first well women’s check up, but Dr. Garcia made everything very comfortable and talked me through everything she was doing. She was awesome with communication even after the visit through the portal. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia!!!
I have been waiting for ultrasound results since the 15. Finally was able to access them today. I had about 3/4 costly tests and procedures done. Some test show certain levels are not right. No one has yet bothered to call for an action plan. I have called twice am still having discomfort and bleeding. Asking they call center to please call and still yet nothing. If you want true personal care their automated answering service, call centers or lack of calling back is not what women in pain bleeding and discomfort should endure. Go somewhere else. True personal care is a BIG LIE. The doctors may not even know how utterly inconsiderate and incompetent the call center process is, but that’s a shame to their talent.
Dr. O delivered my son in 2014 and my daughter in 2016. The care and attentionwe received from the entire staff was over the top . To thethe follow up phones calls from the nurse staff, to the overall quality of customer from each staff member was awesome. Thank you for making my experience an unforgettable one.
NOT recommend! So I was 39 weeks I had contractions five minutes apart decided to wait until closer…few hours later I had them closer went to the hospital & they told me to go home saying that I was dehydrated when clearly I had contraction back to back….I had to get some meds that I needed before birth bc of an infection and I didn’t get the chance (so they put my baby at risk of catching it bc they decided for me to go home instead of monitoring my contractions they literally didn’t even check them)I almost had my baby in the car since it was a Sunday the doctor didn’t want to go I’m guessing…..so when my husband was trying to drive back to hospital bc my contractions got more intense on my way home thinking I was just dehydrated like the doctor said…..I had her in the entrance of the emergency room. This was negligence and I never wish this upon anyone I was in such distress it took away from welcoming my baby I always dreamed of. The next day the doctor had the Audacity to yell at me to come out of restroom bc she was SO busy and need to check me quickly or else if I didn’t hurry she will skip me 😑….I’m like wow not even apology!!!!! This is worst service and worst experience I ever had.
I was lookong for a new OB and came across Dr. O. Everything I read about her seemed great so I scheduled my initial OB appointment with her on July 21st. Unfortunately, I never saw her for my appointment.I wait 30 minutes for Dr. O to come in only to see the np Abi Gbenla enter. The nurse that brought me to the room didnt have me undress so I had the pleasure of undressing in front of the NP as she held a gown in front of me. She then tells me she needs the u/s equipment for her patient next door so she proceeds to rush through my visit. During my ultrasound to confirm my pregnancy she tells me I have ovarian cysts! She doesnt explain anything or tell me whether or not Ill need further treatment for that.I had a terrible experience. No one informed me that Dr. O was unavailable nor did anyone ask if I wanted to see someone else or reschedule my appointment. I would have rescheduled. I went into the office that day with a lot of fear and anxiety and left with even more than I arrived with.
I love my doctor and her staff. Very informative and fun to be around. She given me ease and comfort knowing I will be ok in her hand and also love the fact that my daughter pediatric doctor can work out of the same office.
My visit was pleasant. The wait time was not long and Dr. O made me feel comfortable during the exam. She cares about what I put into my body and is not interested in writing a prescription when it is not necessary. I will definitely continue seeing Dr. O as my OBGYN.
This ob/gyn office is really great! Since day 1 i felt comfortable with everything and everyone. This was my first pregnancy and we were really excited and at the same time I was worried about the whole process. Dr.O is really knowledgeable, you can tell she has a passion and knows what she is talking about. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage and will no longer be returning here. Maybe sometime soon Ill be able to be a patient again. I would definitely recommend Dr. O as she cares and answers all your questions and most importantly puts you at ease!
Extremely unorganized and lack transparency. I am 34 week pregnant and recently moved to Houston TX from California. This whole relocation is overwhelming especially to be in your last trimester, hectic moving and working through finding a suitable ONGYN and a hospital. While still in California, I contacted Pristine at 28 weeks to set up initial visit with Dr ogunlade. At 30 weeks, I had my first appointment with dr ogunlade for which I had to wait for about two hours from the time of my appointment. At the end front desk was charging me $280 for my visit. I informed them that my insurance typically have contracted rates so they should claim my insurance and send me my bill for my portion. Front desk lady said she would talk to her manager and came back agreeing to billing me later. Before my 34 week appointment, somebody gives me a call and tells me that I have to pay $2800 in full at my next appointment as this is the policy at Pristine. What a ridiculous joke is that. All this time nobody ever mentioned or explained their payment policy and right at the end when I’m almost due They are calling me and telling me that I have to pay $2800 upfront and apologize that no one informed me about this before!!!! Extremely disappointed as I will now have to find another practice at 34 week!!! PRISTINE PLEASE GET YOUR STAFF ORGANIZED AND KEEP YOUR PATIENTS INFORMED !!!!!!!
I was super nervous to come here because of the bad reviews I read , but honestly I had a great experience. I went yesterday . Super clean place . The ladies at the front were nice. I couldn’t see my obgyn because she was busy so I saw another obgyn (I wish I could remember her name I’m sorry ) and she was SO AMAZING . I was beyond nervous coming in here but they calmed everything. I also notified them when they drew my blood I’ve passed out before when blood was being drawn so they said they would let tech know . Tech came in and was super sweet and made sure to make me feel comfortable and let me know everything she was doing . I had a great first experience I hope the rest of my experiences are just as great . Hope this helps someone scared by all the bad reviews !
While I understand the intake is different do to covid19 and dont judge that part, the front desk ladies where quick and nice...the issue with this location falls with the tall older lady who was the ultrasound tech....she rushed through my ultrasound, pictures came out blurry... this is my 3rd pregnancy and she treated me like some new teen mom though Im 30. She even had the audacity to tell me what I feel in my own body(not my first rodeo). I respect she may have been doing this for some time but last I checked unless its something that can harm mom or baby just smile and nod and do your job. I will be letting my regular doctor know I was not comfortable with the lady and to find one of the other locations or different person as I was told they have two techs.
Great team and staff! Dr Pallacete is always welcoming and takes great care to her patients. Ive come back now for my second pregnancy
I was a fairly new patient and started seeing Dr. O during my last pregnancy (Twins!) I was determined to have a VBAC and was so glad when she didnt try to convince me otherwise (as most Drs would). She assured me she would do everything she could to honor my wishes as long as it would not affect my health. I eventually had a C-section (due to medical complications), but it was so good to have an OB/GYN who patiently listened to me. I love the facilities and have honestly never had any problems with my appointment wait times.
Dr. O is the greatest. Shes professional, personable, and thorough. Its the type of relationship I now expect from my other providers. You wont regret choosing this place.
Trying to get scheduled as a new patient is horrendous. I can barely understand the scheduler. They stated to wait for new patient paperwork to be emailed to me. It wasn’t, so I reached out after a day, was told to fill the paperwork out again. Had to state that they never sent them, a second time. Finally got the paperwork, filled it out. Was told I’d get a call. Never did, I call them this morning. I was told “I’ll check in on it.” I then sat in what I thought was hold for 6 minutes before I figured she just forgot to say goodbye before ending our call. I hang up, get call bombed 3 times in a row by a lady named Cheryl. I’m at work so had to call back, she asked me everything I answered on the new patient paperwork. My birthdate, weight, height, and tobacco use. Then told me she would forward it to the person who reviews it and I’d get a call in 24 hours. It’s all a little too disorganized for my liking.Update: I received an email shortly after posting this review, I did not respond because I decided it wasn’t worth my time. A few hours later, I got another email stating I wouldn’t be accepted as a patient. Ooookay, my review should have been evident enough that I no longer wanted to seek care at this facility.
Dr Rahman is the best doctor! When she came into the room during my delivery, I was so relieved and happy to see her. She is very professional and confident. She touched our hearts and answered every question thoroughly. This was my first pregnancy, and she did such a good job explaining everything to me. I look forward to my next pregnancy :)
I love, love, love Dr. O. She has been nothing but helpful and patient with me throughout this pregnancy. I am a first time mom and a bit of a control freak and she answers any and all questions I have without making me seem silly. Her staff is very pleasant as well and I always feel comfortable in the office. The only minor complaint I have is how difficult it is to get ahold of the office. I am not sure if it is the operator who has issues getting my messages to the staff or the staff just not calling me back but it gets frustrating when I call for just a minor question and never get a response back. The portal does help with this but even then answers can be hours away, which is understandable, but it would be nice to have immediate answers over the phone for minor things like what to take for a cold.
First of all, the stupid forms they send don’t work on mobile devices. I kept confirming my appointment and they kept calling and texting to me to confirm when I already did. I made my first appointment weeks ago for today and then I get a call this morning that the doctor called out of work so I have to reschedule with a doctor I didn’t even want to see for later today. So unprofessional. I will be switching doctors after this appointments
***UPDATE*** February 2021 7 months later.I was contacted by a nice gentleman from quest diagnostics back in August. He told me that he would work on recoding my bill to get it taken care of. Fast forward to now, I am now receiving a bill and calls from Quest Diagnostics again! While I appreciate the representative from Quest, I feel like Pristine should cover the costs of my lab work, although I know that won’t be likely. In the future, maybe your doctors/ nurse practitioners should NOT tell patients that a certain blood panel will be covered 100% when they don’t know if it is. Some of us are on a fixed income especially because of the pandemic. If I would have known that I would be billed, I wouldn’t have gotten the bloodwork done. After doing research for a new doctor I decided to schedule with Dr. O. However, I never saw her. I even put on my paperwork (that I had to fill out twice) that I didn’t want to see the NP, and I told the lady who called me that I only wanted to see Dr. O. The NP was nice but she mislead me when she suggested I get bloodwork done. She insisted that since I was 30, my insurance would cover this specific blood panel. Not even 2 weeks later I get a bill from quest logistics. I immediately called quest to find out what it was and why, and the gentleman told me I’d have to contact my doctor to dispute this. I called Pristine immediately after getting off the phone with quest and spoke with Mary in scheduling since you can’t actually speak to someone in billing. She assured me that if I emailed her the invoice from quest logistics she would forward it to the right person. I never heard back from anyone so I forwarded everything to the billing department including my experience. I tried calling up there again but no one answers, so I reached out to my insurance company. The representative from my insurance attempted to call and speak to someone as well, and said no answered when she tried different departments. Not to mention the phlebotomist was not very friendly. She didn’t even warn me she was going to insert the needle.
Despite slightly rushed appointments, all of my visits have been very simple and clear to me! Ive been going to Pristine off of Hargrave for about 2 years now. Dr. Ogunlade listened to my concerns and really helped me find the right birth control. She knows her stuff! I appreciate her bluntness and for the most part everyone else that works there.
I came to this place because both of my sisters have had their babies with Dr.O. I got one of the new obgyn Amy and she is awesome. She helped me deliver my baby and I couldnt have asked for better support. The whole staff is super friendly and I never had problems with them. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for an obgyn.
The girls up from are to busy on their phones to acknowledge you when you enter. They act like they barley know what going on.I understand that there may be a 10-15 minutes before you get seen by the Dr, but waiting in the room for an hour + when your appointment is at 1 is pathetic .They need to do better with job with scheduling!! This is awful!Everytime I come for a visit its always atleast a 30-45 min wait or more . You have to wait a few days to get a call back for ultrasound results instead of getting them on the spot!
Edit: 7/10/19***DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR VAGINA!***Response from the owner was MONTHS after my issue. I have not and will not be back to this establishment. The front desk staff is ABHORRENT!!!They made me fill out registration forms even though I’ve been a patient for 2 + years, I asked to be billed for the remainder < half of the total, all I needed was a prescription. They refused to bill me, and once they agreed to see me they made sure I knew I’d be getting them in “a lot of trouble” if I didn’t pay tomorrow. Instead of putting anyone in jeopardy I resigned the appointment and left. My gynecologist -Pristinte OB/GYN could not care less about my health! An established patient paying more than half of the amount due at the time of service requesting to be billed shouldn’t be made to feel like some sort of mooch! Where is the humanity? Where is the concern for your patients?!?! You have an obligation as does any service provider to your clients CHOOSING YOU for service.I guess I’m not good enough for their services, because I left feeling like garbage.I have contacted the listed number and the person who answered S. Garza was the most helpful so far. I do not know if I will be returning, This can’t be the best service they can offer. If so I am completely put off. I am so disappointed. They could have at very least faked concern.
I am a new patient. I just called the office but they hang up on me 4 times!!!. Seems like front desk stuffs were so busy that they don`t even have time to assist you. First person just hang up on me when she was talking to another person while I am on the phone. One person asked me to give her member ID and later she just hang up on me without anything while I was still waiting on the line. Another person asked me to calculate how many weeks after I said I just found out. That`s fine, I don`t mind. The last person asked me what kind of insurance I have, she said it is bottom of my insurance card, but I dont have that on my insurance card. Then she hang up on me impatiently. Fifth time I called, no one picks up LOL. Then I immediately changed my OBGYN. Sad that could not meet the Dr because of those impatient and unfriendly administrative people. Dr might be good but if staffs are not good, still the same. They closed the door for further treatments. I am very pretty sad. They might need more people to assist or they might need to change their attitudes.
EDIT: 12/13/16 - After speaking with Dr O about our concerns, she was very transparent and apologetic about the lack in communication. She did mention that her priority is to her patients in labor at the hospital. Well, our bundle of joy was delivered last night 12/12/2016 and we are so thrilled with the entire process and Dr. O is truly a master of her craft. I was so pleased to have her taking care of my wife and my son coming into the world. She did mention that her priority was to patients in labor and it showed true in this situation. Thanks Dr. O.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is falling apart at the seams. We went here because of the good reviews but it has been nothing short of a disaster. Regularly, our scheduled appointments with Dr. O are either cancelled or we are told she will be about 30 minutes late. This has happened at least 4 of our last 6 visits. Emergency situations for babies are absolutely understandable; however, the frequency that its happening we are starting to feel like we are getting the run around. They tell us this news when we have already arrived at the office. No one calls us in advance. Ever. Besides very poor communication, they are extremely disrespectful to patient privacy and comfort. Last week my 36 week pregnant wife waited for Dr O (as usual there was an emergency and we hadnt received a call in advance) and an hour later, instead of Dr O, a midwife who we never met before walked in to perform a vaginal exam. WHAT?! My wife is extremely upset but we dont have much time at this point to do a patient transfer. The other two OBGYNs that were at this office left the practice unexpectedly (of course we were never told of this in advance either), which is a shame because we really had high hopes for this office. This we suspect is the reason for the high number of emergency deliveries because Dr O is the only OBGYN for 3 separate practices they run? Thats understandable but the level of care here is suffering because of being understaffed. At the bare minimum, effective communication would make this a little easier to bare. But we are completely in the dark here. Nobody knows us on a personal level. Random stand in OBGYNs will walk in and say theyre confused and who are we?. Not the type of experience you want to have when having your first child. Wish they would get a handle on these major problems.
I researched and made an appointment to see Dr. O for my annual well woman checkup. After completing all the paperwork, I undressed and waited for the doctor. A nurse practitioner walked in and informed me she would be doing my exam. Really? I received no notice from the front desk that the doctor was not in and no one even asked if I was ok with this. As a first time patient, I specifically made an appointment with the doctor to see if she was a good fit for me and in the future for my daughter. Needless to say, I declined the nurse practitioner and declined to reschedule again. I have nothing against nurse practitioners and understand doctors have to leave unexpectedly due to emergencies, but what happened to communicating with the patient? So ONE star based on poor communication.
Do not recommend this place! They dont have a baby monitor in office so if youre having any kind of concerns about baby they will just refer you to the ER. No walk ins either. I tried setting up an appointment for intense cramping in my uterus and the front staff tells me doc is just going to tell you its fine and theres no point in making an appointment! Literally didnt make an appointment for me! Im almost 30 weeks and Im changing doctors. Doctors were always really nice but front office staff is terrible. Also blood and glucose exams are not done in office youd have to go to another facility. Im not expecting a perfect experience but when you cant even set up an appointment? Not okay.
I had an appointment that was confirmed. I am sitting in their office and they are telling me the person I had an appointment with went home. No one called to tell me. They are refusing to see me. I took off work early to get here. This is not the first time. The doctor will only approve 4 weeks maternity leave and the daycare will not take the baby unless they are 6 weeks old. So now my employer is going to force me to come back after 4 weeks. If I take longer my job is not guaranteed. Because of their approval.
I had Dr O as my obgyn for my first child and will be using her again. Very easy to get appointments and office is very responsive with calls and follow up. Definitely recommend pristine ob-gyn. I am very pleased. Also want to highlight Yareli at the hargave office and maria.... they really are customer service experts.
I love Dr. O. She has really taken care of me and my family. I enjoy Carla and the two phlebotomist that took my blood while I visited. Most of the staff have very good bed side manner when waiting for the doctor and made you feel comfortable.
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rahman! She was so attentive and caring towards my husband and myself. We had lots of questions being that its my first pregnancy, and she took time to answer each one in detail. Shes extremely knowledgable and confident in her abilities which made me feel so comfortable each time i saw her. Would definitely recommend seeing her!
Absolutely best decision I’ve made switching to this place!! Dr. O and Dr. Abi are the best and always made me feel so comfortable and safe especially being so scared for a second csection! Plus I get to bring my daughter here for her pediatrician which is very convenient! Highly recommend and the staff is always nice :)
My first appointment was GREAT! I was in and out in no time. The staff is wonderful & Dr. Ogunlade is very energetic & concerned. She took her time in explaining everything to me & she will be delivering my 3rd baby.
Dr ogulade literally made me cry and was so rude to me so, so many times during my pregnancy just for asking questions I had from looking up online about my babys development in the womb.I couldnt change the dr because of the location of the office, but absolutely would not ever go with this dr again. If I had any questions, she always was condescending and rude to answer them. She always was in a rush and treated me like I didnt matter. She practically made me apologize for asking questions, and kept pushing to write good reviews for her online. So heres her review: Im absolutely disgusted by her as a human being and wouldnt tell anyone I knew to go to her. The birth of your child is such a precious time and this lady makes you feel dumb for even caring about whats going on in your body. I literally never write this is any review but run as far as you can in the other direction. Its taken me months to even write this review because she practically traumatized me from the whole childbirth experience. The only reason I can think of her having positive reviews on here, is her pushing people to write them and pressuring them while they are her patients, like she tried to do with me.I dont want to spread negativity and hate or scare anyone, but I feel like I need to warn others of the horrible dr that are out there that only think of you as a paycheck and not a patient.
Dr . Jessica Barrera is new here and she is great. She listens to all my problems. Being that this is my 4 th child she Is very open to letting me tell her what I need and she never disagrees with me as long as it’s safe for the baby and it makes me feel better she is all in for it.. go see her she is wonderful and very friendly can’t wait to deliver my baby!!
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO DO A REGULAR SWAB CHECK UP!! I went here because I had no insurance and they provided a cheaper option than what most were charging. I came in Dec. 21, 2021 and was told that it would take about a week for my results to come in, but could be affected due to Christmas holiday… 2 weeks went by and try contacting them to see an update and apparently due to Covid some tests were backed up. More weeks went by and before you know it here I am and it’s almost been 2 MONTHS that I’ve been waiting for my results!!! I want my money back!!
Dr. O was my ob/gyn during my pregnancy in 2017. She and the midwives (2 were there previous to Ramona) were extremely nice and very informative. I was informed by one of her ultrasound techs I was carrying a girl; however, that was totally incorrect! I delivered a BOY! As you can imagine, this was a major shocker after my baby was born and made it extremely difficult to exchange items after delivery a baby. I understand mistakes can happen, but please get a blood test if you chose this office.
I really enjoyed my visit. The staff were very nice, friendly and made you truly feel welcomed! Even though the doctor had to leave shortly after I arrived for my appointment to deliver a patient, she was back in no time and did a great job of getting me in and put sufficiently! This place is good! Thanks.
I couldnt imagine a more comfortable experience. My doctor was professional and kind while not uptight or awkward. I sincerely appreciate her as well as the front desk staff for being so awesome.Make sure you ask if everything is covered by your insurance. A lot of things arent and they wont tell you that until after the fact.
I give five stars to the provider Abi Gbenla, and the lab-tech who drew my blood. The support staff has very poor communication and is frustratingly disorganized. I was called back for my pap results and told I need a procedure, I asked for the diagnosis from the Pap report, and I know that it that could be cancer related.Im a medical health professional, had the procedure in the past, and was cleared for cancer. However I cant imagine the staff calling a patient who does not have medical education, and the staff is not able to explain the result or even a potential procedure completely. Again, the providers are great, they just need better staff. Its a headache from scheduling -to - post visit.
Edit to address the sorry excuse for an apology/reply to my review: IT WAS NOT PERCEIVED MISTREATMENT. IT WAS WHAT IT WAS & that’s exactly how I “perceived” it. You people do yourself zero favors with the snarky, unprofessional responses to your negative reviews. Unbelievable. It’s not perceived when you have TONS of other negative reviews to go with mine. It’s called accountability. Quit making excuses try making some improvements and maybe you won’t have to deal with bad reviews. I saw you tell one person you’re not a fast food joint, saw you tell another to take it up with insurance... and you had the audacity to basically tell me that I should deal with never seeing my doctor just because she’s a good surgeon? There are plenty of good surgeons out there that make time to actually see their own patients. This establishment is absolutely ludicrous. I urge you STAY AWAY, LADIES.The level of service being provided here is absolutely subpar. Calling it mediocre would be generous. It takes MULTIPLE calls on any given day to get anyone at this office to answer the phone (and there is only one phone number for all her locations). Scheduling an appointment is an act of Congress. And when you DO get somebody on the phone, they’re rude, unprofessional, and I was always made to feel like an inconvenience. I literally have had to leave a message every time I’ve ever called up there. And they say they’ll return it in an hour, you’re lucky if they return it in 24. You’re also never asked about your scheduling preference. They simply set your appointment and hand you a card- if it doesn’t work for you & you ask to change it- they make it known just how inconvenient it is for them to have to move it. I like Dr. O just fine. She is not the problem... except that I never see her. I’m always seeing somebody else. I’m not okay with that, especially considering I would be having a c section... I see you once every 5 visits but you get to show up in the OR and collect that paycheck! No way. Not for me. Totally impersonal. Unfortunately, liking doctor O just isn’t enough to keep my business- overall experience has been negative. Dr. O was friendly, but without a good support staff that means nothing. Her staff, their incompetence, and their nasty attitudes are the reason I left her practice.
Dr. O was great from the beginning! She came in with such a big smile and an even bigger personality. She made sure to make me feel the upmost comfortable during one of the most uncomfortable times! She is great and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new OBGYN in the North Houston/ Spring area!
This was my first visit to this doctors office and i absolutely LOVED IT! I came from a very huge doctors office and they were very rude and uncaring. They lacked empathy and patience..but i felt very comfortable with my nurse. i am definitely sticking to them and i 100% recommend.
I have been a patient of Pristine OB-GYN Care for two years. Love Dr. O. The second year I was no longer able to get an appointment with Dr. O. When I began visiting this office I could log in on line to review my account, labs as well as email the doctor a question. that is no longer an option. In September I had an ultrasound. When I went for my OB-GYN visit in December my well woman exam was cut short because Dr Rahman had an emergency at the hospital. I asked the doctor about my ultrasound results before she left the room and was advised to call her and that she would talk with me about it over the phone. I left the country for three weeks came back placed a call to the office to leave a message for the doctor to call me about my results and was advised initially that the results were not in yet. After advising that the services were rendered three months ago I was then advised that I would need to come into the office. I informed the young lady that is not what the doctor advised me so why has the process changed. .... no answer. My last three appointments have been a round or I have been given the incorrect information or something. I will be obtain my records and locating a new GYN. Since the original people have transitioned to new jobs the office has really fallen off.
First time scheduling a doctors appointment at organization. I seen Dr. Leung, very detailed and explained answers to my questions clearly. I did not feel rushed and what I appreciate is this doctor took time out to address my concerns.
I used to go with this doctor when I was pregnant. The doctor is horrible and the front desk even worst. They knew that I had hard time with my first baby, and they ignored it. In my four moth gestation I told the doctor that I was having lower pain, and she told me that it was normal. She didnt check me, she just checked the baby heard and said the baby is ok. I was having contracions for two long weeks, I called the doctor for those 2 weeks, and she Never called me back.. In my second week of pain, I started bleeding, so I went to the emergency room, and they told me that I was having the baby in my 24 weeks of gestation. I was sent to the woman pavilion where I have my tyni little girl. Thanks to God she is alive.SO BECARFUL WITH THIS PLACE THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CLIENTS.
I enjoyed Dr. Angel she was patient and gentle. Shes very informative and attentive.
Extremely disappointed by my experience. Unfortunately a lot of wrong information given. Which included the assurance that the doctor will deliver the baby in any case except for an emergency. Emergency being somebodys life at risk a loved one passing away or other important stuff. Lo and behold when it time to came to delivering the baby we were told the doctor is not available cuz she is off on leisure vacation. Seriously when someone counts on you and you do this.( going on vacation is fine. But plz let your pts know that you wont delivery the baby if it an emergency or when your on leisure vacation). I understand emergencies but off on holidays without even notifying the patients. I feel disrespected and lied too. Plus the dr onlys delivers when on call. I would not refer my loved ones to this place in fact I had to refer one friend to a different place. Also watch out for your tests sometimes you get ordered tests the doctor tells you that she will call you back she never does and sometimes the tests are super expensive and you are not made aware until the bill hits you. Too many cons and very little Pros( unfortunately they cut copy paste drafts to answer reviews no real effort to correct concerns ) read before you choose this place
Personally, I didn’t have a decent experience with dr. O. She wasn’t what I expected based on the referral I got for her. Maybe she treated others differently.. idk but I’m grateful to God I was basically turned away from them and have had a wonderful experience with my OB now. Smh definitely was a waste of time going to this facility
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I’ve had my appointment for a birth control consultation canceled on me 3 times now because magically my appointment is no longer available. This is absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional for the staff of this place to not give any long term notices before my appointment is cancelled by someone that works in the front desk. Don’t go here, there are MUCH more reliable OB-GYN care facilities you could go to.
Finding a new OBGYN can sometimes be stressful. My previous OB was 1.5 hours away and didn’t take my new insurance. A co-worker recommended Pristine OBGYN to me and although skeptical at first, I was blown away by this practice! Dr. Ashraf and the staff rock!! They are all very professional and accommodating. Dr Ashraf did my procedure and the recovery was painless. She explained everything in detail and even called me a few days afterwards to check-in. Thanks for everything you all do!
2 stars because I walked out with my birth control. (12.18.18)Dr. Iyabode Ogunlade spent less than 5 minutes with me. During this time she verified “medical” history, Pap smear, and breast exam. Rushed through the whole process and didn’t bother to actually hear my responses to her questions and she continued with what she had to say. She said she felt lumps in my breast and stated that I could be from chocolate - I told her “that’s odd because I don’t eat chocolate.” She said, “good for you!” Perfect example of her just talking through the process to get out of the room. When I asked for results if I was pregnant or not- she did not know and said she’ll get them for me. She should have been prepared with the results to begin with. It took 5 minutes for the above, 25 minutes waiting in the exam room, 7 minutes with paperwork, and 10 minutes waiting in the lobby. Front desk was rude when I asked questions and the vitals girl showed no care to be there. I definitely won’t be back!
Pristine is truly pristine. Wonderful environment, pleasant and professional staff and Dr. O was a delight. I took my wife here for a routine gyno check up and Everything went more than well. The doctor saw us in a timely manner.... was patient and answered all of our questions. We didnt feel rushed. You are in good hands here.
Dr Rahman is caring OB_GYN, she delivered my first kid.She explained everything and cleared all doubts in detail and made us feel secure and comfortable.Front desk staff are helpful only if your are at office and they wont respond to online queries. Not up-to expectation.
I had a good experience from beginning to end, on my first visit. However, I had the most fun and amazing experience with DR. O.! Ive already referred her to two friends. She has a faithful follower/Patient in me!
If youre looking for a place that cares about you, this is not the place for you. I had a very frustrating experience and do not recommend anyone coming here.First, I had an appt with Dr O on 12/2/15, but to my surprise the dr that actually walked into the room to see me was Dr Rahman. She explained that in this practice any doctor can see any patient, so I was very confused as to why they ask which dr I wanted to make an appt with in the first place if it doesnt matter who the patient wants to see.Second, I did not appreciate the fact that all together my appt took about 3min - yes, 3min, because the dr had an emergency at the hospital and had to leave. And worst of all, no one bothered to get my medical history, medications, if I had any complaints... no even asked me the date of my last period. This is absolutely outrageous and really makes me question their so called compromise with patients. The only information they got from me was ID and insurance card. Its been almost 3 weeks since my visit and I have not gotten a call or any mail to advise the results of my exam.
Upon my initial visit to Pristine, I was promptly greeted and assisted by a professional and knowledgeable staff. Where I would normally be a vortex of nervousness, Dr. O and nurse practitioner Spratt made me feel extremely comfortable! Ive already recommended the office to friends.
Honestly the only good thing about this place is Dr. O. Staff is not very helpful and not very knowledgeable. I was okay with is at first and decided to proceed and stay with pristine. What really made me not want to come here ever again was one incident when I was given my 2nd lab paper work to get blood drawn ( usually you get one done during your first trimester and a 2nd one on your 3rd) well I went through lab corp since its what my insurance covers which means I dont pay anything out of pocket. I did my lab work and they sent over the results to pristine. I went to my appointment to pristine as usual for my check up and before I left the young lady member of the staff said I needed to get blood drawn and waned me to do it at that time in there office. I was confused since I had already had taken blood out at lab corp. I tried to tell them I had done it and she argued that I had not. Then the lady that draws blood joined and said I had to do it. I did not do it since I had done it and also told them my insurance does not go through them for lab work (they go though quest diagnostics). She then argued and said that it did. I know what my insurance covers what it does not. I decided to leave and call labcorp and have them send me a copy. When I went to my next appointment I showed Dr. O the copy and she went outside to talk to the girl about it. My husband and Stayed at the room and we heard the girl admit she might have deleted it. Once we were leavening I asked the girl what had happend to my results, since I did do the lab work, she lied to me and said it must have not gotten through and sometimes the system glitches. My husband and I were very upset she lies to us and we had just heard her tell dr. O she deleted my lab results. And also dr. O told the girl to scan my lab work over to all my paper work for when I gave birth, which she did not since they did not find it at the hospital. luckily I had the copy that I saved if not I would have had to pay $800 in the hospital. Wouldnt not recommend this place to anyone, like I said dr. O was great they just need a new staff.
It’s always a pleasure going to pristine Dr. O is amazing I express some person things that has happened in my life she was caring and compassionate and got my blood work done stat she is be my obgyn until she retires
I didnt have the best experience. I had to go to different locations to get blood work. Towards the end of my pregnancy I had to come on certain days when they had the sonograms. It was the biggest hassle. Also my obgyn was very dissmisive towards my symptoms and when I had a second opinion it was a legitimate problem. Dont recommend.
Dr. O is one wonderful doctor. I would recommend her to everyone. We have interaction with her only for a month as Dr. Rahman, who was our OBGYN, was scheduled to leave around my wifes delivery date. We were having a little bit bothering feeling about assigning a new OBGYN (Dr. O). Once we have our first visit with Dr. O and also the staff making us comfortable talking highly about Dr. O, we were happy. All together, we have a wonderful experience and defintely the transformation to Dr. O is very pleasant and satisfied. I already referred couple of folks to Pristine....
Everyone was amazing and Friendly. Made us extremely comfortable especially as new patient. Everything went wonderful and i would definitely and highly recommend them to all my friends and family. :). Very Knowledgeable and extremely professional!
Poor customer service. They are not customer friendly. Not even a greeting at the reception. Spring (2920) location is way better and more friendly with children. I would never recommend this location for anyone.
PROFIT OVER CARE! suggest not to use their online booking are there after hours service for booking appointments. due to lack of control or caring to control overbooking. Only ensureing a successful profit margin rather than supporting and ensuring customer satisfaction. The doctors on the other hand are fantastic attentive and overall a great doctors too bad theyre staff dont follow in their footsteps.
The doctor there is amazing and personable. I enjoy her bed side manner and her kind demeanor.
My first pre-natal appointment was today. Although I read not so good comments of the front desk I decided to on this clinic though out my pregnancy due to the awesome reviews for Dr. O. I certainly did not make a mistake. The girls at the front were so sweet and attentive. The reviews did not match these girls. A big thumbs up ladies. As for the doctor, I was scheduled with Dr. Rahman yet I really wanted to see Dr. O but she did not have any openings until tomorrow and therefore I decided on Dr. Rahman. I was seen by Dr. O the whole experience was great. She is so thorough and loving and answered all of my questions. I absolutely LOVE her!!! I got to see Dr. Rahman too and by what I can tell she too is a great doctor! I had blood work done and Aly the phlebotomist was so good. I didnt even feel the prick nothing at all she is so great. I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic and all of their staff. If I could I would give them more stars. Thank you for taking care of me!
The first time I went it was fine , the second time was horrible they sent me to the wrong location after they blew up my phone the day before to Keep confirming my appt . So I had to reschedule something told me not to but I did anyways because I like the OBGYN , the day before my appt they blew up my phone .. confirmed my insurance twice over the phone but fail to inform me on some information until I showed for my appt . & was unable to see the doctor !! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK !! So unorganized !!
I HAVE HAD THE MOST MISERABLE EXPERIENCE AT PRISTINE OB-GYN. After paying my 100$ copay I DID NOT see the doctor I was scheduled to see. I DID NOT hear my baby’s heartbeat because of faulty equipment. To make matters worse Dr. Ogunlaude was my OB-GYN for my first child 5 years ago...BUT THERE IS NO RECORD OF MY BEING THERE AFTER COUNTLESS VISITS. I have never been so upset in my life. I don’t know if my baby is even alive.I would never recommend this place to anyone.
This has been the worst pregnant experience ever. Reading prior reviews and the negative feedback from The Owner I should have found a real Obgyn I feel like this was a pyramid scheme to just collect money. No one knows anything, ask any questions no one is sure. 7 months and one ultra sound and no print outs because the machines dont work so I had to use my phone. And I still had to pay for it. Tried to make payments online the portal doesnt work. Call over the phone or go into the office. I try scheduling payments they also cant do that. WHAT CAN THIS PLACE DO besides collect a payment. So at my 7 month check up I have to find a suitable Obgyn to go to and of course the people at this place didnt care. At this point the county clinic is better than this place. Im disgusted smh.
Loved evrything here at this office. Dr. Rahman is so far the best OB Ive had! Shes very informative and patient, she doesnt rush like mis Doctors do. I had c section and I felt so confident and safe while getting surgery done. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Rahman. I would recommend her 100% and trust me when I say you will look forward for each visit just to get questions or concerns answered!!!
Dr.O was great! I had never been to a doctor since when I got here and this is my first child. She was really friendly and put me at ease. I would definitely recommend her!
I felt very welcome and my doctor was very informative about everything being done and concerned with my care. I will be letting my friends know and recommend my doctor as I was very pleased with the services she gave me.
Wonderful practice. The office staff and doctors take time to talk with you about any issues you may have.
Your Online scheduling does not feed back to the actual scheduling you have there? So i make time to schedule online and get a phone saying Oh that time is not available And your scheduling tells me that its because the programs are not in sync? This is not the first time it happened to me. And the last time they called me and did that I told them to forget it ill go somewhere else or ill try again later. and then i get a voicemail saying that i was scheduled on an alternate day that i did not request after i told the scheduler NO! I better and I mean I better not be charged for any missed appointments because no one is keeping up with your software. It sucks because you have AMAZING Doctors but the software and scheduling is Appalling!
Dr. Placette was super busy the day of my appointment so I saw her PA. It was a great experience and the staff is just wonderful! Due to insurance I had to change drs after 20 yrs which was not easy for me. Honestly though I could not be happier with their care.
Nothing good at all , Office never clean , staff completely lost they dont know what to do. OB always running out of time never showed quality time. Thats why I asked for a care provider transfer. They never look for options for you I felt like a number nothing special. I dont recommend this place for a good birth.
Very pleased with level of care and attention I received from NP Abi and staff. Patiently explained exam and my questions. I feel comfortable with the care and guidance shown to me during my appointment.
Me and my husband greatly appreciate the caring staffs and our OBGYN, Dr. Leung. Our scheduled appointments are convenient so far. They are highly recommended.
Ive been to several doctors and Dr. Rahman has been the most thorough, compassionate, and knowledgable. I am always nervous for any doctors appointments but especially for an Ob/Gyn appointment. However, Dr. Rahman made me extremely comfortable and had me relaxed during the entire visit. My experience with Dr. Rahman and the practice has been the best and I would highly recommend her to everyone even if youre outside the Houston area.
My daughter has been in active labor for 29 hours now but Dr. Ogulade refuses to do anything for her until Monday morning. This is just Friday afternoon. I wouldnt wish that pain on my worst enemy. You would think an OB of all doctors would be more compassionate and empathetic but, NOT this doctor
Dr. Iyabode Ogunlade is amazing, personable, down to earth, well educated and shes Nigerian like me, so Im automatically kind of attached to her and refuse to see a different gynecologist. Her staff is friendly and treat me like a friend, not a patient. The wait times can be a bit longer than I would prefer, but I expect thats just the life of a waiting room.A couple things that take away one star is the ANSWERING service. It seems the ladies at the front desk dont take calls and so the answering service answers 99.99% calls.Theyre not so great, this answering service. Rarely polite, rarely know ANYTHING other than business hours (ie: lab work location, special scheduling), have scheduled me but DIDNT schedule me (thank goodness I called a second time to verify my appt which hadnt been made). Also, they now have lab work has to be done outside of the office. They used to do lab work inside the office. Wish they would go back to labs inside the office.Other than this, its a clean office and I love her staff and the doctors!
I recommend this GYN to all ladies. Very professional and ensures I never miss an appointment due to my busy schedule. Best GYN Doctors in town!! Dr. O IS BY FAR THE BEST SURGEON. Outstanding work!!
My experience with both Dr. Rahman and Dr. O were great both at the office, and when Dr. Rahman performed an outpatient procedure on me. Dr. Rahman was very nice, and listened to my concerns and requests - and she explained everything that would happen during the procedure. The office staff was friendly and helpful, and my only negative experience stemmed from confusion with my insurance company telling the office one thing, and myself something completely different while coordinating benefits.I will continue using Pristine OB-Gyn for my gynecological needs in the future.
My wife was under Dr. Os care for years now and we are delighted with how she handled my wifes recent pregnancy. Will definitely recommend Pristine to my colleagues.
I had a great visit at Pristine, the staff was very friendly, and the Dr. had great bedside manners 😊
Dr. Ogunlade delivered my 2nd baby (via c-section). Dr. Rahman delivered my 3rd baby (via c-section). They took their time to prepare me physically and emotionally for both deliveries! They both are very smart, very professional but make you feel like a family as well! They pay attention to you, they never rush you like other doctors. Their staff is great as well!! I have never been so comfortable and happy with any other Dr!BEST doctors in the whole world! And when I say whole world you should take my word for it as I have been to many OB-GYNs around the world
I came here for my pregnancy and Dr.O was amazing! She truly cares for you. The staff was amazing as well, very friendly and caring. I really do recommend this place and Dr.O (:
Blessed to have been referred to them. Doctor does get busy and you have to see someone at times. But worth the wait
My wife and I have two handsome boys and Dr. O has been a part of our lives even before our first was born. Our second son was born March 9th, 2016 and we cant thank the entire Pristine OB-GYN team especially Dr. O for the family atmosphere they foster and the exceptional service provided. They have taken care of and continue to take care of my wife, we are truly in Pristines debt and we highly recommend this practice to any lady that seeks first hand knowledgeable and professional care.
Today was my first visit at Pristine, and I loved it. The staff and Doctors are very nice and helpful. This is my first pregnancy and I am glad I made the decision to come to Pristine. I will highly recommend Pristine to anyone who is looking for a OBGYN.
Dr. Leung spent enough time with me and listened to me very well. She gave good advice and I trust her diagnosis. Shes great.
Dr. O and Dr Abi were an amazing help. My daughter is now one month and 2 days. I couldn’t be any happier and its thanks to the help from my doctors thank you girls so much for you hard Work.
I love Dr. Elmeery!! He’s so patient with me and answers all of my questions thoroughly and trust me, I ask a ton of questions! He even goes the extra mile to make sure I understand everything. Highly recommend him!
I have been a patient of Dr.O since 2015 I do believe. She has always been so helpful, patient and supportive!
Great experience and they take care of you well
Love the doctors and nurses here and the front desk assistance they make sure you get tooking care of the right way I love to send more patience and recommend the Pristine OB GYNs to people.
I Love Dr. O ! She is amazing and made me feel so relaxed she even had me laughing . Im a very shy especially with someone looking at my hoo-ha or Va- jay jay as Dr. O calls it . She is very informative and explains everything that you need to know. I would def recommend her to any woman out there. Especially if your really shy about that area she makes you feel so relaxed you dont even know that shes down there looking because she has you laughing or telling you a story.
Doctor O is amazing, I had a great experience! She delivered my baby boy and plan on going back this pregnancy as well. I highly recommend.
DR O is such an awesome crazy and hilarious doctor, shes 100% supportive of going natural and not they type to force and early induction or c section like so many other doctors are now. I cant wait to deliver my baby with her!
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had at a doctors office. I spent two hours waiting just to see the nurse. The staff is rude and the walls are paper-thin. It sounded like they were breaking things in the room next to me as I waiting. The nurses just don’t care and neither does anyone else. I will not be returning.
The doctor was wonderful - kind, caring, thorough, and competent. The scheduling department has had numerous issues which I hope they are able to correct soon.
Worse place ever ,I made an appointment few weeks in advance and took off from work to go to my Dr appointment , I waited in the waiting area for literally 2 hours still they were trying to verify my insurance !!! For the record I gave them my insurances information at the time I made the appointment, I asked them why it is talking so long they said they are trying their best !!! After 3 hours they told there is is a problem with verifying my insurance and seems like my insurance doesn’t Cover well women check ....., not sureI just left
Five stars isn’t enough! I came to Pristine for the first time a few weeks ago after a bad experience with a former gynecologist and let’s just say I was throughly impressed. Dr. Ekwo was comforting, understanding, and took time to answer every question or concern that I had. I would recommend her to anyone.
I love them especially Dr .O she delivered my first bby in 2014 now here iam in 2022. And having another girl 😩lol but i love this office and her
I love the doctors, they are nice understanding and take all the time you need to feel comfortable and give you a great service, but I wish the clinic was more updated
I love this office! Dr. O is amazing. She made me feel very comfortable and had me laughing the whole time. All the staff are very sweet an make you feel welcomed.
