My experience with Dr. Tran and his team has been remarkable over the past two years while receiving treatment for HIV. Dr. Tran is an excellent physician who provides compassionate and expert care, and his staff is highly skilled and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Tran and his team, especially Tyrone, who will help you get started with their services.

I came to this clinic to try to resume my medication, they asked me strange questions such as If you die, do you want to be resuscitated? My appointment was supposed to last two hours and it lasted four hours, they took my blood samples to do some tests (normally in clinics it only takes a couple of days to give you the results) and they told me that in a month they would give me the results, there were too few patients there to take a month. They gave me medication without knowing the results of my blood tests, I cant take medication without knowing the results. My appointment was quite uncomfortable and it seems that there is something strange in this clinic.

Each and every single interaction with this place is daunting and frustrating. They do not care about you as a patient. They have no regard for your needs as far as mental health or medication. Just alone today, I have been waiting over an hour to be seen via telehealth appointment for an appointment that they scheduled. So add no regard or consideration for time to the list of reasons to seek care elsewhere. I was told that my refills would not be filled if I did not meet with Dr. Tran yet Dr. Tran has kept me waiting over an hour to meet with him. I will be filing a formal complaint with Ryan White and possibly the Texas Board of Health because this office is always incompetent and there’s no communication between the different teams. Changing care can be a hassle and I try to avoid doing so but one gets to a point of peak frustration after constantly dealing with this when trying to fulfill my medical needs.

Everyone is kind and caring enough. It’s nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. The pharmacy doesn’t communicate with the medical staff so I’m often left without my meds because of refill authorization. Every time I have an appointment I’m sitting by myself in an examination room for minimum 2 hours. Could use some significant improvement

The worst clinic I ever been apart of, Im convinced they want to harm people more than they want to help. Thanks to them losing my paperwork I was without meds for a year, they called back after to try to get me back on but I went to legacy. I tried to return to care again with them after moving out of state and returning, and yet they still mess up. Told me to go to ahf in Westheimer on Thursdays for free treatment . They were closed. Now, Im in the hospital thanks to a dumb receptionist with incorrect information. They are beyond incompetent and you should just try legacy or somewhere else that actually cares about patients and doesnt treat them like a number. They should be sued for gross incompetence/negligence

Almost four weeks ago I started leaving messages about getting a long term, routine prescription refilled after they denied it. Despite 5 attempts, i only received one call back from Rosetta who left a message for me to call her back. Its allopurinol to help prevent gout attacks, not some narcotic. They refilled another one for anxiety, but not this one, and now Ive run out of the pills. I am starting with a new primary physician last week, but this clinic is disorganized, unresponsive, and could be dangerous to your health.

Mayra from benefits department is the worst. Forgets about patients and does not care if you have your meds or not. This whole place forgets about you. Why I changed doctors.

There was a horrible wait and Dr. Kasper is no Mr. personality. He blamed the wait on the electronic health records but clearly he isn’t the most computer savvy. When I complained to him personally he mentioned I should call the parent company and complain to them. Completely lacks any compassion and understanding.
