I’ve been to this urgent care a total of three times. 9th Sept was the second time I visited and I’m very pleased with the care I received. Dr Vasquez is the best! She knew exactly what was wrong with me and everything she told me was right on point. I was so lucky to see her again on 13th for a follow up. Best urgent care I’ve ever been!!
I’m a nurse so I know what should be expected in proper medical care. This is my honest review after my first visit here today.Front desk staff didn’t greet me but was personable enough. They did their part of the process efficiently.Wait time was fair.Environment was modern, clean, and overall very nice.NP who assessed me was friendly, her care was quick but also efficient and personable (great combo), her treatment plan made sense and was explained properly to me. I trusted her judgment and would go back again if I could be seen by her again. Please, if management is reading this, train your MA on providing better care and a better experience. She is the first person patients speak to and the impression she makes sets a precedent for how the visit goes. The MA I had today barely made eye contact with me when speaking to me, spoke into her computer and not towards me, never addressed me by name and felt extremely disconnected. She rushed through questions and her tone was robotic. She didn’t do a proper swab for my covid test either… the swab barely entered my nose. She kept her gloves on to type on the computer after having her hands near my mouth and nose while I potentially have an infection… A keyboard to be touched by other people afterwards. My legs were crossed during blood pressure reading and she said nothing about it, I realized I was doing it and uncrossed them. She weighed me with my heavy purse on. Yes, I’m a nurse but I’m not here to teach you how to be an MA or correct mistakes. I’m not on the clock, I’m a patient. But these mistakes were what was taught during MA 101… Please course correct this MA so she treats patients better (eye contact at minimum), provides better care and most importantly has better hygiene! It was subpar to say the least and dampened my overall experience this morning.
I was able to get an appointment nearby quickly and was being examined by PA Rebecca within 30 minutes. I received a prescription for an eye issue which has cleared up in about a week. Rebecca was courteous, professional, and treated me with respect. All in all, I received quality care in a short period of time. Well done!
Went online and did a “save my spot” appointment for 8am. Filled out my personal info and inputted my insurance info. Arrived at 7:50am and sat in my car upfront. The sign on door says it open at 8am. The lights in clinic was off and door locked. I waited until 8:10am no one ever arrived to the clinic to open it. Another patient showed up and walked up to the doors and saw it was locked also. He waited for a few minutes and drove off. There is a sign on the left side window saying closed due to inclement weather. I’m assuming this is from Beryl storm and someone forget to take down. If they are truly closed still due to storm they need to update their system online to say closed and not allow you to enter your info.
I went there today, for an issue I had the receptionist was friendly, I sign In didn’t have to wait a long time, immediately I was brought to the room , she check my blood pressure. Then told me to wait someone will be right with me. I talk with Ms. Edith Napoleon. She gave me the information I needed to know and refer me to someone who will assist me with the problem. I was very satisfied and left there very please. I will refer others to go there. Thanks !
I was visiting Houston for fathers day. I got sick and decided to use urgent care. Arranging appointments was easy. I was told I have Covid-19 and was prescribed meds.I am doing well.
It would be nice if your website posted that you were closed instead of allowing me to register for an appt and showing up just to just to see the closed sign due to the Hurricane.
Had a hand injury that required stitches then a follow-up to remove some of the stitches then the final to remove the remaining stitches. The personnel at this location are caring, concerned & funny as heck.
My daughter was seen at this location today. The front office lady Miss Carmen was very kind and very thorough. Our nurse miss Nakiesh had such a good attitude and a good outlook on life. Our nurse practitioner. Miss Erika was very thorough and wise in her treatment protocol. This was my daughter’s second time there and our whole family has the same insurance so this will be our new urgent care facility to go to.Thanks ladies, this is not an easy industry to work in these days and we just want you to know that you are appreciated. Blessings.
I thought this would be a convenient place to get stitches removed. My sister had an incident and stitches put in at a different location. When we came here the first thing this young “doctor” did was criticize another professionals work, he proceed to remove the stitches and started scrubbing the wound site! There was so much blood because he had reopened the wound! He gave her antibiotics and sent her home, she took it as directed and upon completion the wound looked horrible with redness and pus. She went to a different urgent care and they explained what this “doctor” did was completely wrong and quite possibly the reason it was now infected. Now she has to see a wound care specialist weekly and got a nasty scar. I don’t usually leave reviews, good or bad, but this was a horrible experience in healthcare.
The receptionist n nurse practitioner Hannah Natalie were very friendly, professional. I didn’t have to wait at all to be seen. I definitely recommend this place!!
This was my first visit to an urgent care, and I picked out this one on Westheimer since it was so close to home. I couldnt believe how easy and fast it was to see someone and get diagnosed. They were all very couteous, professional and knowledgeable. I was extremely pleased and will definitely use this urgent care in the future.
Im glad some of you got some benefit out of this place. I wasnt one of those.I got diagnosed CoViD-19+ at a Walgreens this morning, who told me I had to report it to my primary care physician. Since my company changed insurance carriers to BCBS at the start of the month, I didnt have a new one yet. I looked this location up on that website to make sure it was in network, and went there. The desk clerk told me as soon as I arrived to provide a card for a fee that wouldnt be more than $250-$300, and wouldnt say what it was for. I told them on the phone before I went that I was just there for a work note, and it made no difference. Thats exactly the same price Id have to pay if I had no insurance at all, and it wouldnt even cover prescriptions. This location isnt concerned about providing care. Its concerned about collecting fees before they even see what, if anything, I needed. If theyre not going to honor my insurance, there was no point in my checking to see whether they were in network. I could have gone to a facility closer to home and not gotten treated any worse. But thanks guys, for making going without medical care seem like the better option. Im sick, too, but my illness will probably go away without affecting the rest of my life. The sickness is takes to pull something like this on sick veterans cant be treated with medicine.
Easy to make an appointment, quick visit with NP. Tested for strep but was not concerned for strep. Would have appreciated recs or guidance for reported symptoms.
I can see why they require payment upfront, they provide a nurse who doesnt listen and doesnt provide the care needed. Whenever my condition has happened in the past and Ive seen a doctor they were able to prescribe the appropriate meds and get me back to work. Here they just recommend over the counter drugs.
This a a very fine urgent care. Emphasis on “urgent” i’ve been here twice now, both times less than 30 minutes. They get me in and out quickly and treated which I appreciate. Would definitely recommend
Irresponsible front desk! They got our last and first names messed up even when we provided our ID. So, of course, everything shows wrong on our excuse form and report, which our supervisor and lawyer wont accept. When we called on 11/09/2023 around 10 am and asked them to correct the information, they had the worst attitude and even hung up the phone. Lazy and irresponsible front desk.Apparently, the staff here dont want to get the job done properly and do not even bother fixing their mistake.
This new urgent care across from Trader Joe’s & Royal Oaks on Westheimer was great. Walked in was seen in 5-10 mins. Accepts insurance. The PA Rebecca who was working diagnosed me quickly. She was very knowledgeable & very thorough. Great bedside manners. Meds were sent into my pharmacy. We are lucky to have such a convenient wonderful urgent care if we don’t have a condition that requires an emergency. Highly recommend.
Timely friendly competent staff. Excellent care in a pinch!
Overall the best experience!!From checking in until finishing the appt.Everyone so attentive, profesional, knowledgeable and respectful.I recommend Memorial Urgent Care to all.Keep up the great work.
Not the best experience. The front desk towards the back and the NP were super nice but the lady that took my payment and roomed me was AWFUL. She was so rude for no reason like if you hate your job thats not my fault. So unprofessional and rushed. Some people really arent fit for the Healthcare field.
Dr.Ricardo Valle and Dr. Rebecca Vasquez are awesome! They both take their time to listen to your issue/concerns and try to help the best way they can. Very trustworthy and both give you honest advice. Short wait time and friendly staff. I highly recommend this facility.
Do not go here. My son was turned away by a rude abusive receptionist. She refuse to assist him with insurance and for him to be seen by a dr when he was in distress. They also dont answer the phone and have no regard for ill people.I filed a complaint with the company and got form letter back.
I would not trust this place again. On 7/19/23 I called this place to get a T.B. test and they said the cost was $40. I went and got the test and paid the $40. Then on 8/01/23 they took $180.00 out of my account. No one said anything about a charge for a new patient amount. I would strongly recommend you not go there. The person at the front desk is not very helpful at all.
I wouldn’t go there again. As I walked in the front desk was not helpful. I asked her to double check about my insurance because it clearly said on the check-in website they take it, but she didn’t even bother to. The doctor that examined me didn’t seem to care either, coudnt tell me what’s wrong with me, and didn’t send me home with any care instructions
10/10Dr. Hannah saw me quick! I was in and out less than an hour.
The receptionist was so nice and helpful. And the Dr that saw me was attentive and so professional. I recommend this place highly. Every one was absolutely wonderful. And I plan to see them when I am in need of care.
New office. No wait. The doctor Rebecca listened and so helpful. The nurse was understanding. I will be back when necessary. Thanks again for your help.
Very clean facility, i made an appointment but didn’t have to as no one, apart from staff, were there. Super nice staff and got me in and out. Will recommend to everyone!
The Hispanic lady in the front was very rude she was working the late shift I will be contacting corporate. The girl Ruth in the front as well they were talking about me and my kids when we went inside the room. I’ll be reporting them everyday
Went in for muscle strain and the staff was the best. I would go there again.
Had a great experience at this location. Checked in online and was seen right away. Definitely the best experience I’ve had at any Urgent Care centers.
Desk personnel very helpful and courteous.Doctors assistant very understanding of my situation and open minded which is very much apprecitated
Rushed care!!! Dont really have time to listen to your issues or care about your pain. Will just prescribe something to get you out the door so they can close ontime. Do not recommend at all. Left to go to another urgent care.
I just want to thank nurses and Doctors!!!!! Best urgent care ever!!!
Easy to make an appointment; check-in, and pay. Facilities were very clean. Staff was kind and listened to me. They answered all my questions.
Urgent care? Only for two days of the week.
Thank you to all the staff for taking care of my 2 year old daughter. I must definitely recommend this place
I loved the Hi tech place, quick sign up and a wonderful staff. My results came fast, many thanks
Fast, easy, and a great appointment where I felt respected, heard, and was given education as needed.
Poor service, lack of proper care and assistance. Zero help. Avoid at all costs
Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Fast and convenient visit.
Amazing providers and staff. The quality of care received was top tier. Highly recommend.
Ruth was super nice and professional, she helped me a lot!Clean and comfortable facility.
Great experience with Rebecca Vasquez, PA. She was so patient and kind to my mom!
The PA and front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
I was very impressed with this faculty. The providers were very patient and thorough with me.
Friendly and helpful staff. I really appreciated the time they took with me.
Caring people. Clean space
Ive never been to your establishment! My info was taken without my knowledge.
Everyone was very nice. I was seen quickly.
They are open and amazing!!!
Theyre not at this location
I came here with my little girlI was afraid that I would wait a long time like other medical centers that take half of your dayBut what I saw was the opposite: an excellent and fast medical center(View medication prescription and excuse for school) The treatment of the medical staff was wonderful, thanks to themIn addition, the place is beautiful and clean 🙂I will come back here again
