Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care

I was pleasantly surprised that it was not a long wait. The provider did a good job explaining why he made decisions about my care. He also gave me driving instructions to the pharmacy for my meds. I don’t live in Houston.

I went to this location and met with Dr. Nguyen on 09/10/2024 with a terrible cough, chest pain, wheezing, and fever for five days. Dr. Nguyen talked to me for 3 minutes and listened to my lungs. He promptly gave me a diagnosis of bronchitis and prescribed steroids and an inhaler. I told him that I have had bronchitis before and this hurt much worse. I also let him know that my daughter had something similar two weeks before and her pediatrician stated that walking pneumonia was going around and gave her antibiotics. I requested a chest x-ray and viral tests. The viral tests for COVID and flu came negative and the chest x-ray was negative for pneumonia. He continued to push forward the steroids and inhaler. I asked him how he knew the bronchitis was caused by a virus and not bacteria without testing to prove that it was either or then not giving me an antibiotic to take care of it IF the cause happened to be bacterial. He stated that studies show that generally bronchitis is caused by a virus not a bacteria and walking pneumonia is very rare no antibiotic was needed. He also told me I was probably just more stressed that my (other) daughter was in the hospital. I took the steroids for the prescribed five days but by Saturday, 09/14/2024, I was feeling much worse and had to go the ER. At the ER, they did a throat swab that proved I DID have mycoplasma pneumoniae which is walking pneumonia. I had to have IV antibiotics on top of more steroids, oral antibiotics, Albuterol nebulizers, cough medicine, high dose ibuprofen, nose spray and antinausea medication. I was lucky I didnt have to be admitted to the hospital but I felt absolutely horrible for about 7 days. If Dr. Nguyen had prescribed the antibiotic on 09/10 I could have avoided the ER visit and the days I continued to get sicker without the antibiotic. This was confirmed by the ER doctors. I like and trust Memorial Hermann but I DO NOT recommend this doctor and think MH needs to reconsider his employment. I will not be going back to this urgent care and do not recommend Dr. Nguyen.

This urgent care has been a wonderful resource for me and my kiddos when we can’t get into our regular doctors immediately. The physicians, nurses and staff are knowledgeable, attentive and kind.

My treating PA was awesome! Warm, friendly, respectful and offered medical education on all things sinus infection related. It’s great to be heard, understood and given a proper explanation. I’ve always had positive experiences at this location. It’s very clean too!

Theyre the BEST! Fast & easy check in. I saw Dominic N. both times & hes the best that Ive experienced in years at an urgent care. And I love everything is electronically done . No need to wait around for documentation or to sign documents. Also Dominic N is very thorough & takes his time not to only examine you but explain everything to you. Hes so accurate and straight to the point! Great job! This will be my first choice place for myself & children from now on.

I was able to reserve a spot online before the clinic opened. Which was helpful because theres a clinic right down the street from where I work. When I got there, I was seen quickly. The PA who saw me was a real good listener, as well as very intuitive. For example, they saw that I was wearing scrubs and as a result prescribed an antibiotic medicine and topical medicine that would best combat the germs and organisms I would see in the facility I work. Extremely intelligent and intuitive on his part.

Dominic Nguyen was fabulous. He listened as I explained my situation/symptoms and offered me easy to understand explanations of what he thought was going on. Although I felt pretty miserable, I left feeling reassured not only by the information he provided but with the feeling that he was a stellar example of what the medical profession should represent. He is a rare jewel and Memorial Hermann is lucky to have him in their service.

Really helpful staff that are diligent. Got the X-rays done quickly so I knew what was and was not damaged. Then helped alleviate the pain. Wonderful people.

The urgent care staff some were nice and some behaved as if you were bothering them when you politely asked for help. So it’s a bitter sweet experience. The hospital itself is clean. In case you coming in with an emergency be prepared to be on that stretcher for at least 8 hours before you can get allocated to a room. Had to ask for blankets as I got cold during the waiting period.

Went to urgent care Monday for my throat let I him know that my throat may be infected. Took a look and prescribed me something I didn’t need and my throat is still feeling horrible gave them a call yesterday to try to inform them. And no call back . So I wasted money but an upside they are fast but I guess it’s because they are misdiagnosing people.

Super friendly staff! The wait wasnt long at all and the appointment was easy to set up. The doc explained everything in an easy to understand manner and was really concerned with my needs. I would highly recommend giving them a visit! 👍👍

A definite 10! Everyone was very kind and efficient, I didnt have to complete a pile of paperwork before being seen, and the whole process from the time I walked into the urgent care center to the time I walked out took less than an hour. Also, the physician who saw me followed up that same evening to give me the radiologists feedback regarding my x-rays, and I received a call today to arrange a follow-up appointment with a specialist. Exceptional job! What a difference it would make if all clinics were run as well as yours! By the way, these comments are for the location on Holcombe near Buffalo Speedway.

Staffs are very nice and the PA Dominic Nguyen is super compassionate and smart too! He goes above and beyond his duty and even recalled pharmacy for my prescription issues. I have been traumatized going to urgent cares with my baby but having this great experience here in this facility is life changing! I hope all urgent cares in the Medical Center area is as as fast and delivers quality healthcare like this one. Thank you to that PA he is a lifesaver and more than 5 stars for his professionalism and dedication! Memorial Hermann is so blessed to have him as their provider!

Went for an asthma issue and was told repeatedly by the doctor that i “shouldnt have came to urgent care” and that “seeing him was more expensive” even though i was having somewhat urgent airway distress that morning. i’ve been to an urgent care before with the same issue a year ago and they did way more and actually tried their best with the resources they did have. all dr. nguyen did was basically say u shouldnt have came, here’s some steroids. it’s instances like this that deter young women from seeking medical care since we are often dismissed/not taken seriously. please take note and treat your patients with better respect and care!

I recently had to go to Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care and was very impressed by the experience. The wait time was short, the care and concern by the staff was impressive and I appreciated the competence of Dominic Nguyen PA. I was in and out within one hour.

I have always had a great experience with the go health urgent care, but this visit was exceptional. The NP was absolutely amazing, listened to me, went above and beyond, and had me already feeling better once I left.

Don’t come here if you have a physical injury and need stitches!I had a facial laceration on my forehead due to hitting my head on furniture that required stitches (picture attached). I had already bandaged the wound temporarily with butterfly wound closure strips until I was able to get to an urgent care clinic. When I got to the clinic, after waiting an hour, the NP said that it looked good already as I had bandaged it (It did not. It was very roughly done at 4 am.) I told her I needed stitches. She said that it was not deep enough to require stitches and that if I wanted to get stitches, I should go to a plastic surgeon the next day. She said all she could do was replace the butterfly strips with steri strips which would look better aesthetically. I was very surprised since forehead stitches are usually common and easy for an urgent care center to handle, but I let her change the strips. It continued to bleed for several more hours. My friend who is a physician recommended me to go elsewhere to get it stitched up or I would have a large scar on my forehead after the wound healed. I was able to go somewhere else and have it stitched easily without issue. The doctor that stitched it up was shocked that someone would say it wasn’t deep enough and that it required a plastic surgeon.I was charged $300 for what was essentially a band-aid replacement. With the help of my insurance, I tried to contact the billing department at Memorial Hermann. They registered my concern as a complaint and were unwilling to reduce my bill.I will say that on the positive side, the staff and providers were very nice. During my long wait in the waiting room, I noticed most people came in with illnesses like a fever or cough so that is probably what this facility deals with most of the time. Learn from my mistake and don’t come here if you have a physical injury. The providers are not experienced enough to handle it or they are unwilling to take the time to handle it properly.

The young lady Raven at the receptionist desk is very friendly, bubbly, and had a great personality. She went above and beyond. I can tell Raven enjoys her job and making people happy

I was seen by a doctor that was dismissive and little to no help. I was in a car accident recently. I told him about how much pain I was in and the aftermath of the crash. My medical record was missing so many detail. I’m still in pain and I think my visit was less than 10 minutes. I felt like I was pushed aside.I just received a bill for over $200… And they literally did NOTHING… I would not recommend

From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was very courteous, as well as the nurse. I was very happy with the doctor and have already shared my experience with other friends...

Liars and cheats. Somehow in business.Went in for an ear ache and suspected ear infection back on April 6, 2024. I went here specifically because I am uninsured, and the MemorialHermann website - and the man at the front desk promised - “Neighborhood GoHealth Centers provide preventive, acute and chronic care for adults and children for just $60 per visit uninsured or underinsured families.” (Copied directly from their website)So I paid the 60$ bill at the front desk, and then they looked at me for about 10 minutes and prescribed an antibiotic. I ended up not even going and getting the antibiotic because it was too expensive and decided to cut my losses at 60$.Then today, two months later, I get a bill in the mail from memorial Hermann totaling over $1,100 for my visit on April 6th. And they still kept the 60$ bill too, so almost $1,200 total.I would sue them if I wasn’t having to spend the entire summer paying off my ear infection visit. But I’m a broke 25 year old so 1 star review it is…

The PA Dominic was the BEST person I have ever interacted with in medicine. He made things understandable and made sure to answer my questions. Service staff was also prompt and very kind.

I waited an hour because although I checked in early for my appointment and my ID and insurance cards were scanned. I was told I had not checked in which was not true. I was finally seen after waiting an hour and 15 minutes. The PA who saw me prescribed Ketorolac with no restrictions but when I filled it the pharmacist said it should have been restricted to 4 days because of renal complications.

The entire staff and the physician were all very helpful to my blind mother and myself. The doctor also did a great job at explaining our issue in an easy to understand matter as well!

Well made a pointless visit on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The Nurse who did my vitals, etc seemed very inexperienced with not only the use of the computer but the names of medication. This is followed by a very dismissive Provider whom I was trying to explain my prior experience with the swelling of my left arm and how Ben Taub dealt it on 2013. His response was “go back to Ben Taub”~ it wasn’t until I had to advise him of my education level that he seemed to change his demeanor. It makes me wonder had not carried the level of Degrees that I do would have remained the course of not caring at all about my generalized health. If full transparency this was not a pleasant visit. I mean ALL patients regardless of race, creed, gender, etc should be shown respect and be made to feel they are actively being heard. Definitely can use some diversity training at this location as you can’t judge a person on just a visual ~ I have multiple degrees as an African American Female. My 2013 experience with Ben Taub saved my left arm and I am grateful to them for that.

Young chicks (raven) they have complete attitudes at the front desk! They are very rude and unprofessional. I checked in online in literally sat there for 30 mins while they told me the were also doing registration which is a lie. The lady didn’t know what she was doing in instead of asking for help she just sat there looking stupid.

PA. Nyghen was amazing and he listened to me which I appreciate! Also the staff got me in and out and was very nice also offered me tea because I didnt have a voice. They were just amazing!

Wonderful staff and very fast service. We made appointments using the online system and checked in when we arrived. We were seen immediately (15 min wait). The front desk staff was sweet and welcoming. The MA (Naja & Destiny) who did our vitals were extremely sweet and caring. Our daughter wasn’t a patient but they brought her stickers and a lollipop and let her watch YouTube on their computer. I felt really ill and I was so appreciative of their kind behavior with her. The PA Dr. Dominic Nguyen was truly amazing. Excellent patient care skills, extremely thorough with both of us and spot on with diagnosing my husband with Pneumonia. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care we received. Highly recommend this place!

We always have a great experience at this location. I’m in and out quickly and get the care I need while the staff and doctors are kind and take great care of my family and I.

I took my 4 year old, who’s autistic and can be quite difficult in medical settings. However , the nurse today (wish I knew her name ) and Dr. Patel were incredibly empathetic towards us both which seemed to help my daughter tolerate what needed to be done. We received our diagnosis and prescription in a timely manner. I really appreciate the Dr. and staff for a good experience during a hard time.

The wait was a bit long because there were a lot of people, but even then, I didn’t feel rushed. The NP listened and put in the prescriptions I needed. So helpful!

I was very dissatisfied with the service received on yesterday. The doctor was very dismissive of my concerns. Not surprising at all though, its inevitable being a black woman in this disgusting world. No matter how they respond to this review, energy doesnt lie!!!!!

The facility is clean and modern, there’s plenty of parking and the service is top notch. I met with Dr. Nico Nguyen and he was fantastic. I will definitely come back from any future urgent care needs.Highly recommended!

Fast, friendly and felt like the NP cared about me feeling better

I did not enjoy my experience at this particular location. I came in because I believed I was experiencing a yeast infection. The doctor (cannot think of name, I visited 02/18 around 11am) ultimately did not want to swab me. He was telling me I could swab myself or he could it. But like you know how you can tell someone really don’t want to do something? That was his reaction. Instead, he sent me medicine for one infection, while stating it could be two other things. Waste of my time 🙄

They have the very very very best Doctors and Assistance up in the building, matter fact in the world!!! If you truly feel you need answers to your problems they have the solutions and is informative. I loved my visit so did my mom and spouse I wish anyone in need of healing go here ASAP I mean run if you can dont wait Im so grateful for me visit it was efficient and with the quickness. ThankYouuu 10/10

So, I’d had flu like symptoms, fever, lots of coughing, chills, body aches. It was 3/10, said well I’ll go to urgent care, Dr did NOT run any test on me. Said my lungs were clear, get some Flonase and I’ll be fine, I asked about cough, he acquiesced and said he’s prescribe Benzonatate. This was day 5! Of symptoms and being sick and I was negative on my home covid test. Benzonatate did not touch the horrid cough that went on all night every night. My husband had enough, it was day 9, Thursday, couldn’t reach pcp office, so to urgent care we returned, I was sicker!!(my mistake), same thing, except this time he gave somewhat of a pediatric cough medicine and Doxycycline. Your lungs are clear, STILL NOT ONE TEST! LISTENED AND LOOKED ONLY!!Finally sent me home , to die, I felt!!Monday all day and night, I was coughing up my lungs, 102.8 temperature, nothing made me warm so my husband ran a steaming hot epsom salt bath, I still shivered in the tub. I told him we had to go to the hospital in the morning.Went to Oakbend on Freeway, literally no wait. Nurse came to me almost with same attitude the Dr at urgent care came to me with. But another nurse and trainee did do COVID TEST AND influenza A tests. It was about 9:15. At 6:15 I took my Clonidine for BP because at urgent care , my BP was 177/107, that was dismissed nor discussed!, one of the side effect of Clonidine is sleepy/drowsy hence I can’t take during the day, turns me into a zombie! So I took 1/2 dosage at 6 along with pain meds for Failed Back surgery syndrome which I suffer terribly from but have two esteemed pain doctors that treat me for that, and my severe chronic Coccydynia. (Tailbone damage they cannot fix without removing it, no way !My blood pressure was good because I’d taken I/2 Clonidine and naturally I haven’t had sleep in two 1/2 weeks at this point. But the nurse said it had to be the hydrocodone, I politely told him I know what makes me drowsy and what doesn’t. And that it was no sleep and the Clonidine! The other nurse returned and said I was going to X-ray! Praise God, real medicine not poking looking listening to chest and judgement!Lo and behold, I’ve been walking around for 2 weeks and 5 days sick as hell. Letting everyone around me down because I’m a private guardian of 10 cases!Three things to note:A. I’m a recovering nursing home administrator, your bottom line depends on all the realistic tests you can run, it’s simple math, so not only did Dr Ngyuen at memorial Hermann urgent care misdiagnose me, he did nothing to back up his own hypothesis.B. If you are one who has to have pain doctors, after a botched colonoscopy and two botched back fusions, you are forever judged as soon as you walk in the door because they think you’re going to find an angle to get more, I don’t need more I need relief with what I’m prescribed and injections I get 4x yearC. I’ve never really had a problem with MHUC. Until this past week. Dr. Dino Nguyen really did nothing for me because I lie suffering in bed with RIGHT LOWER LOBE PNEUMONIA. Do your basic homework doctor, because there are other experienced professionals out there that know they’ve been mistreated or rather not treated at all!

Don’t bother coming here unless you want to be mocked or made fun of by the staff. I’m a nurse, so I always expect to be treated with the same respect that I treat my patients. I visited this location for something simple, yet painful that required antibiotics. Assuming that the staff was professional, I went ahead and listed my condition in its medical terms. I was in the room closest to the front desk, and could hear the staff reading the diagnosis out loud and laughing about it. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend this place.

I made my appointment on line. As soon as I walked in they immediately checked me in and in not time I was able to see the doctor.Dr. Nguyen was amazing. He took his time and explained everything very thoroughly. He ever followed up with a phone call to give me my test results.Highly recommend it :)

My elderly mother suffered a serious tear of the skin on the back of her hand. The facility is very clean and pleasant. We were seen quickly. Staff members, and particularly Dr. Nguyen, were very competent and kind. The wound is healing. We felt very well cared for.

The staff is professional. The waiting time is quickly. Their professionalism is excellent easy to get in and out.

I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I like the doctor and have been seen by him a few times over the years. It is an efficient process I like the ability to schedule an appointment

The service was great. Everyone was very welcoming and professional. And I appreciate the support I got.

The bedside manner from the doctors were great but I presented with cold and flu like symptoms requesting to be tested for Covid and flu. I was only tested for Covid, which was negative. I did not receive a flu test as requested. Ultimately I was diagnosed with the allergic rhinitis which they told me they weren’t going to treat me for since I was just on day 2 of my symptoms. Once I left I went to another facility to get a second opinion because I was experiencing intermittent fevers and bodyaches….sure enough, I had flu B. Moral of the story, I had expressed a known sick contact and requested a test to rule out what I was experiencing and was dismissed.

Efficient, professional, pleasant without being stiff or humorless.The woman running the front desk was particularly competent, and also quite charming!Overall, it was a very positive experience, under not so positive circumstances.Its great to know you are there when things go south!

Dr. Dino Nguyen took the time to explain to me why he thought I was having the symptoms I was having. He was willing to answer all my questions and tell me what the process would be if I wanted additional testing. This made me feel like he really cared about helping me feel better and feel like he was a very competent physician. He was able to hear all my concerns and still do all his other duties efficiently. I am doing a lot better now because of him!

Highly recommended! Very efficient, with same day appointments. You aren’t there all day. They do take the time to listen to you even pick up on what your not saying to evaluate and no rushing during your consultation.

The Receptionist is extremely welcoming and professional. The MA was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The NP (Dominic) was knowledgeable and very personable. My entire visit was remarkable! Additionally, the office always has Awesome tea for the patients.

I liked the ability to take an x-ray and refer me to a specialist. The professionalism of the staff and doctors is exceptional.

I was seen quickly and professionally. Follow through left something to be desired - had to call them to find out why I hadnt heard from the referral they made. Appears they forgot to send the referral. Its resolved, but Im not happy I had to chase it.

WARNING: front door does not open for wheelchair access. Also, there is a hurdle checking in for anyone who does not use Smart Phones easily. The patient I took to this urgent care can not use Smart Phones and is in a wheel chair.I gave 5 stars for the staff. Steffi and Sebastian where so kind and welcoming. Sebastian helped patient with the x-ray and was very friendly. Liz was wonderful as she took intake information and placed a splint on his wrist. Dr. Nguyen was outstanding! He was efficient, patient and kind. He showed the patient where he had cracked his bone and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend!We were in and out in as efficient a manner as could be possible. It was clean and uplifting environment. We are super pleased.

The doctor, Dominic Nguyen, was exceptional. Explained the treatment in greay detail and sent the prescriptionto CVS timely. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. He looked up the closest CVS for me.I made my appt online easily.Convinient hrs- Opened till 8 pm.Billled insurance.

Great experience - the PA who saw me (Dominic Nguyen) was so kind and smart. He took the time to help me understand my stomach ulcer and prescribed some meds that really helped it. Highly recommend!

I am not a fan of clinics and I was very skeptical however due to the urgency of my condition and my doctor being booked until my scheduled visit on April 20th 2023. Upon my doctors advice I went to urgent Care at 3501 West Holcombe boulevard Houston TX 77 025. When I arrive everyone was cordial the atmosphere was pleasant, Im not used to signing virtually, so was assisted without condescending attitudes. I had assistance in everything that I needed. The facility was very clean, well organized, orderly,everyone had a professional congenial demeanor. I was treated quickly and efficiently. I was amazed because its not at all what I imagined. It is most comforting when someone is ill, to know that they can be treated medically in a reassuring, professional Healthcare facility.

From out of town and went here on my daughter in law’s recommendation. The PA, Edith Napoleon, was so knowledgeable, as well as kind and a good communicator. I was desperate to stop my cough and ease my virus symptoms, which she discovered by X-Ray had gone into pneumonia. She prescribed the perfect combination of medication to let me fight it off. I was seen quickly and treated very well. Exactly what you need for Urgent Care.

Awful experience trying to get my prescriptions. Doctor that saw me was great buy I guess he forgot to send in my prescription to my pharmacy. Cvs said they never received anything so I called the office again spoke to a lady and she said she would ask to doctor to resend it. I contacted cvs again over an hour later and STILL nothing from this office. Now they’re closed and I’m not getting my medicine today or god knows when because the staff or the doctor who ever is in charge of sending the prescription refuses to do their job

Avoid this place. I went there because I started having very strong motion sickness for no clear reason. I walked in and waited 20 minutes. Then the doctor took my blood pressure, looked at my ears, and told me there’s nothing he can do. He suggested to get some Dramamine lol. Despite I got no help from the urgent care, a bill of $137 AFTER ADJUSTMENT arrived a month later and they processed the payment on their end because they saved my card details when I checked in at the front desk.

Great service in time. Dr Nguyen and all the staff, especially the MA, Tyeesha(?) was fabulous. Answered all my questions. They were a great help.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. The only good thing about this place are the friendly front desk staff; everything else is beyond subpar. I went in because I was having flu/strep symptoms along with a bad cough. The doctor (Dr. Nicholson) didn’t seem to care one bit, she was in and out within minutes and didn’t care to actually treat me. Her bedside manner was terrible and she made me feel like I was a complete inconvenience - never did I have an experience with a doctor like that. After that nightmare of a visit, I was left with dealing with an incompetent billing department that charged me twice for service and then told me I had an outstanding balance - what? Overall, this new partnership Memorial Hermann has with GoHealth is atrocious. If you want quick care, there are plenty of other urgent cares in the area that would be better.

Do not go here if you need Imaging. It is not available onsite. They can only give you an order to go somewhere else. There is no equipment onsite even thought the website clearly says they offer imaging. I wait an hour to be told this information. Definitely false advertisement. The staff was nice but this location doesn’t offer the services Go Health says it does

Everyone in my family has had a great experience with this clinic. Really helpful if one of us is sick on a weekend and need help right away. Especially for the kids. They also did a great job stitching up my husbands hand and he was able to avoid an emergency room.

Nasty very rude and not helpful front desk. To say it’s a children’s urgent care they won’t help the uninsured. At all!!! No assistance and no resources from Thai place of your in need of medical help and little to no money. $180 upfront for each patient has to be paid no billed services. You get all checked in and right before your name is called the receptionist wants to ask questions and deny services. Waited for 2 hrs just to be turned away.

Ive been coming here for 3 yrs now. Dr. Nguyen is amazing. I needed to test for something that my own dr couldnt seem to do.....but Dr. Nguyen did! Hes also very knowledgeable and listens!!!! Office staff is also amazing as well!!!

Waited two hours for my appointment and was only informed AFTER I checked in and waited an hour, that the doctor was running “30 mins behind” so I ended up leaving without being see. If I wouldn’t have went to the counter, they probably wouldn’t have said anything. I know delays are typical but not almost two hours. The staff really should do better with advising the patients before they check in. I’ll be looking for a more organize doctors office for my future needs.

I had a great experience. There was no wait. Myself and another patient were seen immediately following the intake process. Everyone was very kind and attentive. My physician had excellent bedside manner and even called me later to follow-up on my condition. I was thoroughly pleased. I don’t regret going there.

I had an eye injury. The Dr who took care of me was extremely knowledgeable. Thorough and kind. The treatment plan was exactly what was needed for the infection I was almost back to normal the next day

Easy to register and pick a walk in time. The doctor was thorough, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I have been breathing easier with less coughing since following his recommendations as well as starting the simple meditation he prescribed.

Just met three of the nicest and most professional people at this urgent care. Jacob at the front desk was really, really efficient and kind. I had a clerical issue with my insurance and he handled it with nothing but “yes” recognizing I was busy with a sick toddler. Lisette did the initial vital signs and was really caring and polite. Dr Nguyen provided outstanding 20 star care. He is a great listener and it’s obvious he likes what he does. I’m very happy with the treatment plan and so appreciative. My son walked out happy while Jacob played a game of catch with him in the hall.

Front desk was great, but physician and one of the nurses on call during 530-630pm on 8/16/22, were very rude and speculating my husband was a perv, he felt awkward and uncomfortable the way he was treated. If you are a doctor you should act professional and not assume or speculate. Thanks for not being helpful, very unhappy with the treatment here, but the front desk was great. Do not recommend this urgent location.

Excellent urgent care center. It is clean and very efficient as well as requires masks for our protection Dr. Dino Nyguen is a phenomenal doctor; brilliant, empathetic, effective, & phenomenal bedside manner. I prefer him to my regular PCP. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This place is so amazing. The staff from the nurses to reception to the doctors and PA are some of the best Ive ever seen and in my life I have had 29 major surgeries and can honestly say that they are the very best. The facilities are spotless and I just cant say enough good things about this place. The wait time was not even that bad during flu season and with Covid19 everywhere and yet I was in and out with my exam, flue, Covid19 and some other tests in no time at all! I am truly thankful for this place, it takes away the scary anxious feeling I get when I go to other doctors offices. If you need help with anything I guarantee you will love it here. All I can say was wow fantastic service I had a newborn at home and they let me fill out the paperwork in my car before coming in to minimize time in the waiting area the facility is extremely clean and nice. Dr Nguyen spent plenty of time with me and also had a follow up plan and easy to reach via email or phone! I have never received this thorough care at an urgent care before and will definitely be bringing myself and my children here from now on ! They were empathetic knowledgeable and friendly! So nice to have this facility nearby the West U neighborhood

This clinic is exceptionally amazing! Everyone on the staff was super friendly and professional. Not to mention my service was fast and I got my diagnosis within minutes. The good thing about this clinic is that they open early at 7 am which is great because all other urgent cares do not open until 8 or 9 am. Dr. Kothari, Elizabeth and Michael were an outstanding team and I will be definitely be referring my friends and family to this clinic.

They submitted 2 claims for the same visit and the same reason Medical Visit. My insurance paid for one and declined the other one because of the duplicate claim. The billing department requested me to pay for the other one. I called the billing department, and they kept saying that I had $250 due, and they did not want to help me have a look at the other paid claim. I felt I was stupid to make the useless call.

I just fell and got a gash above my eye and below my brow we drove over to the location about 5:30 tonight, there was no wait. It was a great intake experience, great nurse, and great doc to stitch me up. We were n and out in about 40 minutes and less than an hour after the injury.

Poor care by doctor. I arrived at 7pm complaining of right chest pain after falling on cement. Doctor ordered chest X-ray but no one available to take X-ray and receptionist said the Washington location had a X-ray tech but they are closing now. I asked the doctor, who clearly was finished for the night, what the treatment I could do and she hurriedly said take Motrin and alternate with Tylenol. No written instructions and I noticed my name is misspelled on their records and an incorrect phone number. Never go to this urgent care !!!!!!

After a cycling accident during which I injured my shoulder, I sought out an Urgent care covered by BCBS. I Found this location with excellent reviews and rightly so. The staff is kind, polite and efficient. My xrays were promptly done and interpreted. The Nurse Practioner (Anthony) reviewed my results and a clear plan moving forward. You will receive excellent patient care at this professional and well run facility. Thank you all.

My experience as a patient at this urgent care facility was exceptional. I was able to schedule an appointment on a Sunday morning, and was seen within five minutes of my appointment time by a physician. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend this Memorial Hermann facility to anyone in need of urgent care services.

Horrible. Don’t go here if you don’t have an appointment. My mom fell and was bleeding and we were waiting for over an hour. People with appointments kept coming in and were being taken back ahead of us. Then our wait time was almost 3 hours. We left and went somewhere else and were seen in 5 minutes. Absolutely no triaging done here. horrible concept for urgent care.

Extremely pleased with the level of care provided. Brought my father in and was seen quickly. Excellent caring staff makes a big difference when medical care is needed and everyone here made that happen. Keep up the good work; you are very much appreciated.

Totally sub-par experience. We went in with flu-like symptoms. The doctor did not swab us, so we werent sure if we had COVID or what flu we had. No written report. The bill for this was $300 times 2. Other urgent care in our network charge a $20 co-pay and perform the proper testing.

Doctor prescribed me a drug that’s side effects was much worse than the issue itself, which only possibly was something that this drug could clear up and that I would likely go away by itself anyhow.When I specifically asked him what were the side effects, he only mentioned one side effect and not the numerous others, which significantly affected me.The doctor also did not tell me of a conflict with another drug I was already taking (which I told the nurse I was taking) - luckily it said it in a big warning on the side of bottle.On top of everything else the wait to see the doctor was very longReally poor experience here

Dr. Dunlap did an amazing job addressing my needs. Very knowledgeable and caring.I was also warned that I may get a high bill because my insurance deductible was not met which was above and beyond in my opinion. All the office staff are kind and helpful. Additionally, my care was followed up with by phone after my visit. Would recommend!

Dr. Nguyen was super friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions and explain to me what my body was going through. I waited about 5 minutes before getting seen. The whole visit took about 15-20 minutes altogether which I am very happy about.

I visited this clinic in their opening day to get a stitch for my finger cut and they were pretty welcoming and well organized. I ended up going there again for the stitch removal and they didnt charge me anything! Waiting time is much shorter than others. Medical center needed an urgent care clinic like this with high quality and fast service. Highly recommended!

Was referred here for a COVID test before surgery and I was really nervous. The greeting staff were friendly and quick with taking care of the patients needs. When going to the back for the test, the nurse was great with explaining what to expect...so after the FEW seconds of being swabbed, it was over....I LOVE this place and the staff...!💕

I was in Houston visiting my daughter from Florida and unexpectedly became sick with a sinus jnfectionI was able to get an appointment rather quickly and everyone in the office was so incredibly nice.Additionally someone was in the office creating a huge scene by cursing out the staff and in general using the F Bomb bc they told her to take her person to the ER based on whatever her symptoms were.Every single person who interacted with her was extremely nice and polite to her even though she was acting disrrspectful in front of an office full of patients including 3 young childrenPlease let the staff know they ROCK !!!!!!I would also like say I do understand being stressed out over the situation especially when someone you care for and love is sick but it was not anyones fault and I do hope the patient they referred to the ER is doing better.

We went with doctors order for Covid test for two kids around 6pm. Place was empty and made us wait over 30min and retuned saying that couldn’t take test as doctor wasn’t affiliated to memorial. This is the third time on the location and first time with such push back. Even our doctor that is private physician talked with them as she refers all her patients to this place. The overall staff was kind with the exception of Amy who was the one who determined we couldn’t get tested. She was unhelpful and didn’t care for the long wait with the kids neither to resolve the situation. Is a shame that customer service is not a priority. Prior experiences were positive but after this we will not come back

I had the best experience at Memorial Hermann Urgent Care. I work in healthcare and I appreciated the quick evaluation and treatment plan. Everyone was really kind and I was in and out as a walk in in 45 minutes! If I ever need to visit again, I definitely will!

Yikes, mamas do not bring your child to this urgent care location. The doctor had zero bedside manner with children. That’s not my main complaint though. We came in for a UTI and my child was in pain and they made no effort to help her quickly. It’s an URGENT care people. The worst part was when they told me I was good to go, “there are no additional charges” after $124 we paid upon arrival and we were on our way to the pharmacy only to have them call us and rudely tell us (as if it’s our fault) that there is more to pay and we would need to return. American healthcare is such a mess, but really, healthcare workers could make a better effort to make a stressful situation as pleasant as possible. I would not recommend this location.

This place never Seize to amaze me. From the time you check in you are pleasantly greeted by the front desk personnel. On my most recent visit , Both my daughter and I were seen and we were in and out with an hour ! Edna , Tracy & Dr. Nguyen were amazing ! Please keep it up . As an African American, I would not recommend this facility. The doctors at this location did not do anything to help my daughter. Doctors at this Urgent Care lack compassion. I told my daughter to change insurance. Memorial Healthcare Insurance and the doctors she has seen so far like Doc Nguyen did nothing to help her symptoms. He told her to go home and ride it out. Very Disappointing experience at this location, and with Memorial Hermann/GoHealth

Dr. Dino Nguyen was immensely well knowledged, robust in his advice and skilled in his diagnosis. If I need to go to urgent care again I will go to him again, if it is not already clear, I highly recommend him!

THIS. PLACE. IS. GODLIKE. Throughout my whole life urgent care has always been a huge hassle. They’re always crowded, wait times are usually awful, and in general the facilities are not very clean or nice usually. This place breaks the mold. The facilities are PRISTINE, wait times are usually short and communicated very clearly. THE STAFF! They are sooooooooooooo knowledgeable, friendly, and just all around good at their job. To summarize, if you need an urgent care, do yourself a favor and go to this one.

This is my second trip to this urgent care. I live out of town as I am a nurse for a medical device company. (So I am obviously not a good patient!) The first time I visited here I was just getting a COVIDtest. Today I had a true urgent situation. This team is professional, knowledgeable, organized and kind. This place was a p.o.s, they took my money before my appointment and then wasn’t able to even accommodate me. I wanted in the lobby for three hours and watched everyone else who came after me get called first. They will leave you waiting and provide no care.

I was placed in the back, next to a room being used for storage. I honestly believe they forgot I was there until I came out the room to use the restroom. Then after everyone looked at me, then a doctor came in right behind me. She basically told me what I already know and also skipped pass another reason I was there for. Since I was late for work, I didnt bother to bring up the second issue they even had me right down on a sticky note. I was there for a total of 2 hours plus.

They treated me so well, very courteous and professional- better than my primary care doctor’s office. The doctor spent almost 25 minutes talking to me and discussing my concerns. I am so glad to know about them.

I was looking for an Urgent Care center where you can see an actual doctor vs a PA or NP. I saw another review online for this facility from someone who had a similar issue as myself, so I came in based on their good experience. I was nervous when the front desk clerk said she wasnt sure if they could treat my issue and then a very young doctor walked up. I almost bolted yelling Not today Doogie Howser! But Dr. Nguyen is that good (still fresh, not burnt out, and tapped into latest medical trends) type of young lol. I hope the years and bureaucracy of the field dont ever change him. He immediately came over to greet me and helped with no wait. He was personable, calm, and confident; though I was yelping in pain, he still had good bedside manner, which calmed me. He gave me extra supplies and a treatment plan that is actually in alignment with best practices based on research for wound healing vs. old-school modalities. If I dont heal well, Ill update this review haha, but as of now Im doing great and totally recommend this facility at least as long as Dr. Nguyen is there!

My stars are not for the staff or the location. They are for the results. Came in for high BP. EKG was run and showed abnormality. Sent us ASAP to the main hospital for evaluation. Main hospital basically shamed us for even bothering them with such a mild result and wondered why we were told to come. I dont know who is at fault here, but we now have 2 hospitals to pay for something that could have been treated here (or so we were told). I did appreciate the support and TLC of this location.

They really care about you here. I felt seen and was treated with the utmost care. Had stitches done in my hand and didn’t feel a thing.

I was a little weary of coming here just based on the reviews, and my reason for care was something I was a little embarrassed about so I was extra nervous, but my experience was awesome and I can’t remember the doctors name but he made me feel very comfortable and told me multiple times he hoped I felt better!! I will definitely go back to this location if needed!!

Quick intake and check in and no long wait time. Dr Nguyen took the time to talk to me about treatment of Covid and the pros and cons of options available. I went in for Covid testing and treatment.

Memorial Hermann needs to update protocols for aging/elderly patients. My mom may appear like she has no problem with her memory but there is a reason she lives with me, a reason I drive her everywhere. My mother doesn’t remember conversations, she certainly doesn’t remember her medical history. She has trouble recalling how she fell and injured herself, if it wasn’t for my father telling me what happened.This is the 2nd Memorial Hermann healthcare facility I’ve been to where they wouldn’t permit me to go with my mom into examining room and rather than the appointment being the allotted 20 mins it’s longer because when they decide to finally let me in to hear what the doctor recommendations are we have to go through medical contraindications because my mom gave wrong medical history information.I get it’s Covid times I am vax’d, so is my mother, my mother and I were both wearing N95 masks… I wear a mask where ever I go. I told the ladies at the desk my mom has memory recall issues and they told me I would have to wait till the doctor called me in. Does it look like I am trying to be unsafe? I also understand they have to look and screen for abuse. Although, if my mom “the patient” requests me, her healthcare advocate, the staff and medical professionals should listen to that.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I had the most negative and unprofessional experience at this place with Cecilia Mckeown-biagas. No-one deserves to come to a highly rated and reputable place seeking for a basic help with skin rash but, only to be leaving feeling like a trash. I came for entirely different concern, but she said that I have STD where I didnt experience any symptoms. Wanted to order unnecessary blood lab work. This just confirms that you cannot trust doctors at this place.

I heard so many horror stories about the Covid19 pcr nasal swab test I was terrified to go get it done. It was mandatory for my flight and I had no choice. At Memorial Hermann Urgent care everyone was so nice and professional and the rest felt nothing like people described in their experience. I suggest you go here if you want a pain free experience. It is an uncomfortable test but not painful at all.

I brought my dad to the Urgent care due to it being good reviews but they were not helpful my dad foot is pretty bruised and probably thought he had a fracture doctor didn’t want to do an X-ray because it was not necessary yet how can you see if there is no fracture without an X-ray .

I felt like I was treated with no respect the front desk people was very rude there was not a nice welcome at all they made me feel they did like people of color they welcome everyone that was of different race with respect they said hello to them and goodbye but when it came to me they didnt say anything I will never come to this place again only person that Treated me with respect was the nurse that came in the room I came in with a problem and left with a problem I was in so much pain with my back not a Xray are any thing just some Meloxim I made it home crying because I felt like I had no care I wont be back never...

I stopped by yesterday to address a concern of not being able to hold anything down for several days. I expressed that I had a video visit and a provider also prescribed me antibiotics that I was not able to keep down as well. The only thing that was done here was a covid test and a urinalysis. No blood work of any kind and to make matters worse, I called today to get a copy of my negative test results for covid and they refused.

Staff professional, kind and helpful. They care and it shows. Even though busy they take time with you and make sure you have what you need all questions answered. You can schedule on line saving wait time but they do take walk ins

Stop in late on Saturday evening. Dr. Nguyen looked at my injury in the lobby. He suggested caring for it at home without any procedure. A great business is there when you need it and does not take advantage of a unfortunate situation. They will be my first choice in the future for any urgent Care needs.

Terrible experience, I couldve received faster care in the ER.Only one other person in the whole place and she tells me its going to take over an hour because of shift changes, and of course only after she charges me the co-pay.

Do not use telemed, over 1.25 hour wait after checking in for appointment and no online or telephone help available.

I was seen by Dr. Jean. I waited for almost half an hour until she came. Then, she examined me and then again left me in the room for almost 45 minutes without any explanation. I was sick and needed to go home and rest.

They said Covid PCR test results would take 1-2 days. We’re going on 4 and still don’t have results and it’s impossible to get anyone on the phone.

Cant understand why theyre making go online to set up an appointment but you still have to wait 2 to 3 hours gotta here at 7:50 it is now 9:45 got in the room at 9 have not seen no one yet to I am still waiting it is after 10:30 Be aware of this urgent care Service is very poor
