A few days back I was at the dump with my wife, like you do. Throwing crap out of our trailer, seeing how far I could that toilet, you know guy stuff. And as I go to toss the big screen like a Frisbee, I stepped on 2 rusted sheet metal screws, not nails screws. Now Ive spent 6wks in the hospital with a septic blood infection from a staple. I was on the books to NuVance (thanks Tas) before I woke up I hadda work but made it thru with little walking and got here ricky tick! The moment my wife reminded me I was there in 7 min. I was in being served in 5 min. And I mean in the room getting looked at. All kind and happy. Positive, lively and good people. The tetanus shot went in my arm, my foot was looked at and no lockjaw for me this time. Amazing place. They took care and made me feel like the only person in the 🌎! But that could be because I was the only one there! Great experience all around!!! 2nd to none. Told yall I was that guy!!!
Avoid this place! Not only did they misdiagnose me and delay my proper treatment for lyme but they lost my test results (which were useless anyway) and now double billed me and charged my card without my consent. Two weeks of trying to get my money back and Im told they have no record of charging me twice even though their portal shows two invoices for the exact same thing. Staff has been clueless and unhelpful every time Ive called or emailed trying to get test results and now about their billing mistake. Not even so much as an apology for the headache. I will be filling a complaint with the state.
I brought my husband here due to severe back pain. The check in was easy and the desk staff made us laugh. Claudia our PA was amazing, thorough, sincere and made a correct diagnosis. My husbands back with her treatment is already much better. Everything was amazing and easy.
I was seen in the urgent care. It the worst visit Ive had at a urgent care. I was referred by a specialist because they couldnt see me. The medical assistant was terrible. The provider was nice but was asking for things that werent needed for what I was being seen for. Ive worked in urgent care for 10 yrs, if I ever treated a patient the way I was, I wouldnt have job. Deffinently dont recommend! Ill be talking to my specialist about my visit.
I’m leaving a one. I went to this facility because I was expecting extra pain and discomfort. And while I have insurance, and the man behind the counter ( who’s disposition was very unpleasant) wasn’t very helpful, he said that because they have new ownership ( again?) my information wasn’t on file, and I had to pay $125 to be seen, which seems exploitive. I asked if I could be billed and he said that wasn’t the policy. I can’t blame this man, I’m sure he’s very confined within the structure of this for profit establishment. But it’s urgent care, and I urgently needed care because I was afraid, and unsure what was happening with my body. I’ve been here twice and both times I’m pain, crying in my care and left with being helped . I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Hope the nurse on shift was an absolute pleasure. She had a courteous demeanor and an uncanny sense of fair play. She was so fair and gentle and was considerate in breaking the news to me about my illness. The doctor was a great addition to the team and the great bedside assistance care that I could ask for….
I don’t think I’ll go back if I can help it. The care was… fine, but they prescribed a dosage that doesn’t really exist so filling my script was an ordeal. The rooms are not very private; I could clearly hear the patient in the room next door. But the biggest dealbreaker is their payment system, which auto charges your credit card and in my case, over charged and kept charging monthly until I called to stop it and get a refund.
We took our daughter there at aroubd 6:30 pm and I know they close at 8 pm. I went inside the building first and want to ask for a wheelchair for my daughter who is unable to bear weight in her left foot as she fell down to the floor of a store in Kingston, NY. I did not get a wheelchair for my physically handicap daughter and the girl at the front desk said to me that there will be a 2 to 4 hours wait as there are still four patients ahead of us. Confused but disappointed, I went back to our car thinking we will go straight to the ER. But my wife insisted that I should try tonget a wheelchair again and get our daughter seen eventhoigh I was already tild that the wait time will be 2 to 4 hours. My wife said they just din’t want to take our daughter. I went inside the building again and told them that we will be waiting. We know it will not be 2 to 4 hours as they are closing at 8 pm. They also knew that mu daughter will be needing a Left ankle/foot xray.I left my daughter with my wife at the waiting room and left to take our two other daughters to eat dinne at a newrby restaurant. My wife called me 10 minutes later and said that they are already at the clback and waiting for the MD or the PA. About 45 minutes later I got another call from my wife who said that they are already finished and I cam pick them up. Nonfracture was seen, thank God, but our daughter(17 years old) is still in pain although much less due to her taking pain medicine given to her..Thanks for their speedy service but I just realized that the girl at the front desk will stay with the same attitude if she did not see my daughter in tears inside the car and if I didn’t tell her that my daughter is a physically handicap girl. Amd also I feel that my daughter got seem by the MD and had an xray that fast because it was almost their closing time when we got in there.
I have never had a better experience at an urgent care clinic! The staff were extremely kind and welcoming and the check in process was easy. They allow you to book an appointment online so you dont have to wait, even though there was only one person waiting when I got there. I will be going here from now on!!
I’m from out of state and found myself in need of an urgent care. I cannot say enough about this facility and everyone I encountered. They were not only very nice, they were engaging and personable. I reserved a spot online for 11:56 and was done just before 12:30.
This urgent care center is very well managed. The staff was very professional and friendly. Just what you need when you’re not feeling well. The doctor was very good he didn’t just rush you out. He took time to listen to what was wrong and I would recommend this place to anyone!
Your clinic provided fast and curtesy treatment and care that resulted in the diagnosis and treatment. Dr Fisher and his staff were professional and knowledgeable of what was happening to better prepare ourselves to what was necessary to establish the remedy. I truly will return if need be. My thanks to everyone there. It was a pleasant experience. Thank you sincerely. Andrew Fisco and son Joseph.
This clinic was amazing from the time I came through the door. From the receptionist to the PA to the X-ray tech. Everyone was so professional, helpful, sympathetic, and understanding. The wait was not long at all from start to finish. I will make this my go to instead of the hospital ER. Thank you to everyone involved in my health care
Everyone was very helpful. My ears were so plugged with wax I was having a hard time hearing Dr successfully removed impacted wax from my ears.Im now able to hear clearly .I was able to reserve a spot so there was hardly waiting.I strongly recommend nuvance health-GoHealth Urgent Care
Thank you big time to Heidi and Laura. I had a great experience from their care. Thorough, friendly, and a blessing as we were on vacation and needed some fears calmed! What a blessing “y’all” were! (That’s Texas, y’all!)❤️
When I got the Nuvance I was pleasantly surprised that there was only one patient in front of me. I didnt wait long to get into the exam room. However, I did wait a pretty good amount of time to be initially seen. I was happy with the Dr (Laura....). Loved her. She left and once again found myself waiting a rather long time. Finally taken to another room to have the x-ray done (not sure why i needed to leave the room I was in, the x-ray machine is portable).... the tech asked me which thumb was being x-rayed... I stated the right.... she said no, its the left.... ummmmm... nope I think I know whats bothering me. Hahaha.Needless to say, new paperwork had to be done to read the correct thumb. More time waiting..... in the end.... did I think I spent too much time waiting for staff, yes.... would I go back there, yes.No doubt, everyone was very friendly, just wasnt thrilled with being there just over 2 hours.
Nuvance emergency Care was professional, as quick as they could be, and is kind as anyone could Hope for. The PA that took care of me that day and the technician for the x-ray were marvelous. Cant say enough about them as far as emergency care. Almost wish they could be my primary.
Do NOT go to any Nuvance/Northwell health facilities if you have any sort of Cigna insurance plan. It is an in network provider but the laboratories they use are out of network and are EXTREMELY expensive. They should be telling you this prior to the service but no office worker is as educated on the topic as they should be. I was charged almost $700 dollars AFTER insurance for them to test/treat a simple yeast infection. Go to any other urgent care that uses labcorp for labs if you have Cigna, dont make the same mistake I did.
Made an appointment on a Sunday. The building is clean and well organized and they see patients in an orderly fashion. Got in on time, saw the provider quickly, got a diagnosis and a prescription, and left without hassle. Expectations are low for urgent care places, but this time it worked exactly as it should.
My stepfather went to this urgent care and saw a Laura Robinson NP yesterday for chest pain that was mostly in lung. Im an RN and live a few states away and was concerned about a pulmonary embolism. This NP had no idea what she was doing. She gave him inaccurate symptoms of a pulmonary embolism. Gave him a diagnosis of pneumonia which was completely unwarranted given his symptoms and chest xray and sent him home. She also forced my mom to get off the phone with me. I convinced my mom to take my stepfather to the ED and he is now admitted with a pulmonary embolism. A blood clot in his lungs. This woman could have killed my step father!!! Do not see her!!! She is dangerous.
Waited over an hour to bee seen when we had an appointment. There wasn’t a nurse or medical assistant so the x-ray tech took vitals, did a strep test and a mon test on my son. Then the PA said everything was negative and offered ZERO solutions for pain management or anything else! Was there for almost 2 hours.
The PA who treated me was lovely, great humor and made the experience very positive! But the office does not ever answer their phone, even after they leave you a message saying to call back, and sometimes there’s nobody at the desk.
Great experience. I have spread the news about the ease of seeing someone quickly. The front desk guy was so pleasant. And the medical staff were amazing! Will definitely return if needed.
The provider, nurse, and front desk were efficient and helpful. My provider helped navigate my next steps and answered questions about the medication prescribed.
Sadly, I dont remember name, but the N P I saw was great. She was personable, knowledgeable, efficient and kind. She should teach patient relations, and be well compensated for her work. As a retired medical worker, I know from whence I speak.
Literally not worth the copay. Essentially told me I wasn’t sick despite the fact I’ve had a textbook sinus infection for almost two months. Went in because I knew I needed antibiotics (and was too sick to drive all the way to my pcp), but instead I had to fight to even have them put the real duration of my symptoms in my chart. The extent of the medical care I received (no tests, not even a Covid test) was them touching my face and saying that because it didn’t hurt my sinuses couldn’t be infected (forget the gallons of green snot/regular fevers). im not the sort of person who does to doctors unless something is really wrong, and I’m also not the sort of person to leave negative reviews, but I have never felt so actively ignored by a healthcare provider before. Felt like once they got me in the door they had my money and they didn’t need to even consider giving me medical care.
Very happy with care I received from FNP Robinson! I was seen quickly, on a Sunday; went back for follow-up after following instructions for four days. Again, very short wait time, and problem solved! Highly recommended.
Walked in with one complaint and left by ambulance because of something totally unrelated caught by them. Doctor very thorough and knowledgeable. WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN IF I NEED SERVICE AGAIN. Seen Very quickly.
I went there early on a Saturday morning and only had to wait 15 minutes. There were helpful and I got some answered questions and I can say it was very helpful. I got my meds as soon as the pharmacy could. Overall a very big yes.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Nuvance. I was very sick and handled immediately and given an IV with fluids and anti nausea medication. The team was all women who were incredibly competent, kind, and attentive. I remember Chelsea specifically took wonderful care of me. I will definitely be back for any illness - this team is wonderful.
Efficient staff, quality staff. I was treated like a person, seen in a reasonable time and diagnose correctly. Claudia my provider was amazing!!
Staff was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient. They treated me like person, not dollar signs. Wait time was amazingly short. Easy to save spot online!!
Rudest guy at the front desk. Not helpful for anyone with disabilities. No changing table in the bathroom. One nurse was extremely rude to my foster daughter who’s already traumatized and needs gentle attention, not threats. She was rude to me as well, but it didn’t send me into a terror like it did the six year old. The doctor was nice, but now we’re at the pharmacy waiting on our prescriptions and they only sent one. I’ve called over and over and spoke with one person- finally- but still only one rx was filled. We’ve been waiting 90 minutes!!! 3 kids with behavior issues from trauma isn’t fun at the pharmacy for so long.I don’t recommend this urgent care and hopefully we’ll find a better one on weekends. We do Optum week days and they’re great.
Came on a Friday evening because my primary care was closed for the weekend - excellent facility, staff were all wearing masks (which should be the norm for healthcare but it largely not the case). Everyone was friendly and professional. Short wait time and efficient system.
Everyone was so very helpful and patient definitely appreciate it. The doctor was also very helpful and explained everything to me in a way that I can understand and everything went very quickly. Will definitely be returning to this location and referring friends and family ☺️
Nuvance provides an excellent alternative to local emergency rooms for someone, like me , with no insurance, and the difficulty of finding a provider. All the amenities, clean, quiet, nice staff, the doctor, listened attentively, was pleasant, thoughtful, ran a test, I would definitely recommend them and will certainly use them again
I had a great experience there. The gentleman at the front desk I believe his name was Ryan was so nice and kind. He helped me sign in with the IPad and took his time when I had any questions. There were a couple people in front of me. A woman was yelling at him for not taking her insurance like it was something he had control over or that he was in charge of the website that said they did. He handled the situation so professionally. We definitely need more people like him.
I guess it’s not the staff I take issue with. It’s the site that gives you your test results. That whole system is too robotic. The site had many mistakes regarding my identity and there was no one to talk to who could fix it. A very BIG DISCONNECT in getting questions and concerns answered. The staff on site was very quick to say we can’t help you with that.
Staff was warm and welcoming. There was a little bit of confusion getting the results of my X ray, but not sure where the fault did lie. Radiology or Urgent Care. The new kiosk is a big pain. typing basic info onto your phhone is one thing, but taking picutres of various cards front and back, on your lap. So folks were under legitimate distresss due to what ever it was that brought them. Trying to focus and concentrate on top of all that was stressful. It was for me and it was for people who I was sitting near.Kiosk is not an improvement.
This is by far the best urgent care Ive ever visited. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The provider was knowledgeable and took time to listen. It was also super fast to get seen and leave, without feeling rushed. There wasnt another patient in the place, despite being open for about a half hour before we got there. Usually there are already waits by then. When our usually pharmacy couldnt fill the prescription, the staff here called us to ask what alternate pharmacy wed like instead.Overall excellent care!
I ended up here after Childrens Medical Group dropped the ball with medication. They took care of my daughter very quickly and got the order for the medication sent over without issue.
The staff were excellent, the receptionist, medical assistant and doctor. The office was immaculately clean and it was nice to be able to pre-register. Waiting time was good as well. My family will use this for all urgent care needs.
People were nice enough, but the whole operation was not helpful. My dad and I left without being taken care of. Assuming this is an issue of understaffing. I blame Nuvance and Go Health. Average money hungry bloodsucking private health corporations who probably dont care about peoples health. IMO.
This was the best experience at an urgent care provider I have ever had. It was busy, and you all were professional, kind, and I got exactly the kind of help I needed. I am so appreciative of the kindness. I have had primary care visits that did not feel as comfortable and helpful as this urgent care! Thank you so much—made all the difference!
The staff was excellent at tracking down old diagnostic test results so they could be compared with recent tests. It helped to clarify things and relieve stress.?
The Nuance clinic is closed according to the staff at GoHealth. Nuvance is no longer at this location. They changed the name on here, but kept all the reviews from the former Nuvance clinic. No patient should ever have their injuries ignored.I was in a car accident a week ago, and developed a serious brain injury. (I was in serious pain. Had spells of dizziness, and brief blurred vision. I had serious cognitive injuries: I was cognitively confused filling out forms. Confused typing in my own password. I couldn’t read reliably, listen to music or conversation). The injury was debilitating. I was very concerned. The receptionist told me they couldn’t do anything for me.I asked if I could talk to a nurse briefly. Two nurses came up to the window and they made me discuss my details in the waiting room. They talked loudly, everyone could hear the whole details of my injuries.A HIPAA violation, patients have the right to privacy in waiting rooms. The nurses dismissed me.I requested to discuss something with them in private, ‘not in the waiting room for everyone to hear.’One nurse cursed at me under her breath. They put me into a back room- without taking my information! They didn’t even get my name. I was just put into a patient room.I was in a lot of pain, but I coherently and logically explained that I was had a brain injury. Then they brought the doctor in to see me.I explained that I was in a car accident and had developed brain damage. Without asking a single question into neuro health, he asked me ‘do you have a history of mental illness?’It’s my experience that only doctors who don’t have adequate training will write off an injury as not real, a mental illness /paranoia.I’m a patient with the classic symptoms of a brain injury. Experiencing chronic pain, and debilitating cognitive injuries.Yet there wasn’t a single question about neurological health. There are protocols doctors are expected to follow. Screening measures to make sure a neuro. injured patient isn’t in danger. How can you treat a person with a debilitating injury with such incompetence and callousness? Brain injuries are very serious, and sometimes life threatening.I expressed (annoyance) that the doctor was acting inappropriately. Then it turned to an interrogation. I wasn’t on the records. What was I doing in that room?Because they didn’t fill out the intake paperwork. Or even get my name. There are likely laws prohibiting not filling out intake paperwork.I would have waited my turn in line to see a nurse briefly. The doctor kept blaming me and accusing me, for not being registered in the system. It’s the failure of the staff for not following their own standards.I was blamed and criticized repeatedly for their failure.I didn’t have any of my questions answered. It is not complicated to answer a patient’s questions about staying safe and getting the right care. My symptoms and course of injury are classic and foreseeable. There are protocols that are supposed to be understood by practitioners, that guide the right treatment. Also direct and foreseeable. I should be able to find out what they are. At least a little. The whole point of going to a clinic is staying safe and getting care.I was shaking when I left. I had to make sure I didn’t feel convulsions coming on from the stress.Someone’s brain injury could make them impaired and vulnerable. They wanted to make it look like I was impaired, but acted with so much disrespect and incompetence one would never treat an actually impaired person this way
My first time there. Loved I could hold my spot. Got in and out quickly. Everyone I interacted with couldnt be nicer.
The actual time spent with any provider was ridiculously short for how long I was actually there for. I arrived to a full waiting room, which I was prepared for and waited until it was my time to go back (about an hour and 15/20 minutes). After I went back I was met by a nurse/tech/whatever for initial questions and then told the provider would be in shortly. I was in the room for a little under an hour before someone came back to check on me for about 5 minutes and then left. What was spoken about in that time was not notated in any form and when I checked in a day later there was no help provided and it was a follow up with your pcpI understand that this is not a replacement for an actual physician visit and that this is to keep the ER from being gummed up, but I have felt dismissed and it shows how poor their people skills are and how they perpetuate a broken system.
Ive been to this location twice and both times the entire staff from the front desk to the nurses and doctors were kind, friendly and very professional. I would definitely recommend it as a first choice in the area.
I went to Nuvance Urgent Care because I wasnt feeling well. I was treated with excellent care, complete questions and answers to all of my concerns. I will not hesitate to tell all of my friends and if needed, I will go back for future care. Thank you to the Doctoe, assistants ans staff for a perfect experience.
After waiting for two hours, with an appointment, I finally went to an examining room. The nurse was very nice. The PA came in, was dismissive of my symptoms, and was clearly going to be of no help. For the first time in my life, I got up and left before she was done. Tomorrow I will try and see another doctor
I was taken in quickly and diagnosed quickly and situation explind cleary. If I need urgent care, I will be returning
I had a terrible experience recently with a nurse named Jackie. She came in and did the initial appointment asking me questions about my history and meds etc. she left my room and I could hear her talking about me and my medications to other staff. Extremely unprofessional. I continued on with my appointment acting like I didn’t just hear the nurse talking to the doctor and other staff about me and my meds. I will definitely be finding a different neurologist office and doctor.
We have had to bring our children here multiple times because it always seems to work out that they get sick over breaks or weekends when the doctor’s office isn’t open. We have always experienced excellent service. From the extremely kind receptionist (who is very knowledgeable and prompt) to the nurses and doctors. Have we had to wait? Of course- but it is an urgent care- that happens! We were able to wait in our car and they called my cellphone when available. We did not wait longer than we were told at the start and once we were inside the room- everything was completed quickly. There are other “urgent care” offices that are closer to home- but I really prefer coming to this location.
10Medical staff was caring, professional and knowledgeable. Great experience.
They were quick, efficient, and friendly. It was a pleasant experience. My attending physician was AMAZING!!!
I made an appointment for 5:40pm. I came in at 4:15pm because my boss told me to go. I do NOT feel I should have waited to past 5:40. I wont recommend this walk in to anyone. At least 7 walk ins got brought in while I sat in waiting room. VERY DISSAPOINTED with walk in center.
I absolutely trust the healthcare providers here. They have always taken excellent care of me. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, calm, and caring. They spend the right amount of time with you to diagnose and treat your illness, and never make you feel like you chose the wrong place to seek help. I usually dont have to wait very long before being seen either. Your insurance will determine the cost so, no one can blame them for that. I do not like some other Nuvance facilities for various reasons but, this one is an A plus.
Who is writing all these positive reviews? Waited 90 mins in a cold room + paid a $60 co-pay just for the NP/PA to only offer me a COVID and FLU test, despite stating all my symptoms and clearly being in ill discomfort. No recommendation for a prescription to help tackle these symptoms, as well as a request for a cautionary blood test (which I ended up taking thru another clinic, where my results indicated I needed further investigating), which being sick and loopy at the time, I didn’t realize until I got home. Receptionist checking me in couldn’t care less about me or his job, though my NP/PA was somewhat nice, even if I felt like she wasn’t really listening to me and just trying to get through her long waiting list. What a strange place.
I didn’t wait too long and the doctor was friendly and prescribed the medication I needed.
My husband and I went there to get him check out. We waiting for almost three hours. They never once check on us.People that were there for 15 mins were going in ahead of us as well as his name didn’t appear on the board until the last hour at number 8!!!! Moving on, they gave him no paperwork when he checked out nothing! Not with his prescriptions about the visit absolutely nothing. Then we went to Walmart across the way and they said they were sending it over when we left the office a hour later still waiting at Walmart nothing got called in. I called the office they told me it was sent to the wrong pharmacy they would send it in to the correct location. 30 mins later nothing came in to the pharmacy. Called back again was placed on hold for another 30 mins after telling the gentleman on the phone the situation. Called back again and they said now they are sending it over so over a hour and a half waiting for them to pull it together and pick up my husbands medicine. Then the pharmacy closed before we could even get it. Plus 40 mins drive home!!!! So unprofessional and bedside manner they are completely scattered!!! What waste of a whole day there!!! DO NOT GO THERE?
It was not crowded When I went there, so I got in pretty fast. The doctor greeted me and put me at ease right away. We definitely go there again.
Dont go here at all! Save your money...They will make you pay to get in saying that your insurance doesnt work and even if you tell them you will pay only that one time they charge you without your permission
Buyer beware. This is a fraud. All good at time of our visit, then the bill arrived. $980 for a strep test. You read that right!! We asked for the breakdown as we couldn’t believe it would be correct. Sure enough, they charged $500 for the test alone, plus additional cost to administer and then $350 odd for the actual visit on top. Insurance covered a fraction. Never in my life have I seen such egregious pricing. Disgraceful.
After the website told me my insurance was accepted and my copay would be $25, I went to check in to be told Unfortunately, your insurance is NOT accepted. You could try another urgent care. Also we are not Nuvance... Even as this lists Nuvance in the name so no, we cant accept your charity care, either. Thanks for nothing, guys!
Terrible experience w medical staff. Nurse was rude and short. PA was dismissive of my symptoms. She barely assessed me, and told me to “take some cough medicine “.Unsatisfied with this visit, I went to a different urgent care the next day, and was diagnosed with an infection after being given a proper assessment and chest X-ray, and was provided with treatment of antibiotics, steroids, and inhaler.
Total professionals all the way. Easy check in and was on my way in under 20 minutes.
I went on a Sunday morning after scheduling my visit online Saturday night. I was seen as scheduled, taken to an examining room and the provider came in within 5 minutes. I received professional care, was prescribed an antibiotic and was on my way.
The guy working the front desk Friday February 23rd was very rude- he didn’t even look at me while he was speaking to me. He was also rude to the woman in front of me. My insurance was refused without explanation.
If I could ZERO STARS I WOULD. Mousari Ali the physicians assistant there accused my elderly aunt of tampering with her urine while she presented with a UTI. However, he offered to do a pelvic exam! I am assuming for his own satisfaction because, that would not have determined if she had a UTI. Which she did! DO NOT GO THERE!!!
I hadn’t been feeling well for several days and thought it was just a head cold. Glad I took my wife’s advice and went to Nuvance. The doctor sent my scripts to the pharmacy. I had a problem at the pharmacy, called Nuvance, the doctor came to the phone and corrected the problem. They genuinely care!
Definitely a 10! All of the facility and its staff are true professionals! From the Emergency room to the incredible cooks in the kitchen. If I ever find myself in need of assistance I wont be going any place else besides Norther Dutchess! Definitely a 10! All of the facility and its staff are true professionals! From the Emergency room to the incredible cooks in the kitchen. If I ever find myself in need of assistance I wont be going any place else besides Norther Dutchess!
My husband and I showed up this evening at 7:10. There is a sign placed prominently on the check-in window that says last patient registered at 7:30pm as of 1/01/23. Despite that being present, my husband was refused treatment because the doctor told reception to end registration because they wanted to be out early. There was 1 patient registering when we got there to get stitches removed and 1 in the waiting room. Other than that, the only cars in the parking lot were that of staff, which you could tell because they were still covered with snow from earlier in the day. I don’t know what the point of the bold sign was if it isn’t honored.
Walked in at 6:30pm, was out by 7:30pm with X-rays and doctors orders in hand. Quick, efficient, and Tony the X-ray tech is a Star Trek fan. Lorna was a wonderful nurse, and Dr. Norman was on top of things. 10/10, would recommend.
They dont have available xray service on the weekends even though there website does not specify it.
Everyone was great but we did not solve the problem. It was a tough one
Easy check in, I walked in and got an appointment. Short wait. The dr was very nice and helpful. The nurse wasn’t that friendly. She was short with me and a little rough with the Covid test.
Highly recommend! The office staff was friendly and welcoming, I was brought into the patient room and seen quickly. Definitely will go here next time it’s needed.
The staff during these crazy time made you feel totally welcomed. Listened and showed concern for why you came in. Will gladly return if services needed again. Thank you very much.
On my first visit to Nuvance for an ultrasound, I was met with kindness at the door to take my temp. The radiology desk was also friendly and efficient, they knew my VA referral was there. The ultrasound was perfect, it was in a personal place and was completed professionally and painlessly. The best ultrasound I have ever had, Im 77. Thank you,
Definitely worth making an appt!Dr. was really nice and the nurse was as well. The gentleman at the front was kind of bla but he was fine!Answered questions!
Nurse Beth was amazing and so comforting during a very stressful time. She made us feel so welcomed and her cheerfulness took our anxieties away. No other urgent cares were open and we didn’t want to go to the ER and spend hours out of our day waiting for a diagnosis. We were in and out quickly and treated with the utmost respect and care. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you HQ Urgent care for making our family feel so important and cared for on Labor Day, when most people were enjoying a day off. You truly showed what This holiday is about, and it’s for caring for people with your whole heart when you could have been enjoying a day with family, but you made US feel like your family. We will be forever grateful for your medical service.
Main receptionist was nice. However, once I was brought back to the room the technician asked me what pronouns I wanted to use. Really? Are you joking me? I am sitting here in pain and you are wasting my time asking me about my pronouns? Its not even a medical question. How dare you Nuvance.
After going here for help today, this Urgent care has lost all credibility for me. I have quite a bit of pain for 2 straight days in my upper left hand stomach area. I really expected to get a cat scan or MRI. After waiting an hour alone in the waiting room, I was in with the PA to tell me to call my GI doctor. I feel I was shood away after 5 minutes.
Longest wait ever experienced for urgent care. 2+ hour wait for one doctor. Super nice nurse, she was the best. Doctor had weird bedside manner. $50 co-pay seems excessive. Better urgent cares out there.
Every time I have come to Urgent Care everyone has been wonderful! The girls up front are friendly and helpful, the nurses have been great and each doctor I have had have the BEST bedside manners and are caring and great!! I tell everyone I know they should use this Urgent Care!! Keep up the good work!! Thank you!!
Everyone was extremely helpfulDr Claudia went above and BeyondThank you for all that you do
It was perhaps the easiest time checking in.Getting results was even better.
My wife called to schedule an exam at their diagnostic imaging. She provided everything on the script, to include the CPT procedure codes as well as complete diagnosis that was written by the doctor. However since she did not have the ICD-10 for the diagnoses, they REFUSED to book her an appointment. Their program wouldnt let them do it. How ridiculous. We reached out to another imaging firm and they accepted it no problems.Never thought that a facility would expect patients to now become medical coders!
Claudia is the best PA! Very knowledgeable and has an excellent bed side manner. I highly recommend this place. Ask for Claudia she’s the best!!
I’d leave a lesser rating if possible…..One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a drs office. Only pleasant experience was the receptionist that checked me in, completely went down hill from there. From the rude nurses to the utterly slow wait I’ve never been treated like this. While waiting almost an hr an 1/2 for the dr to come in I sit in the room and can over hear the nurse speaking to the patient in the next room and I felt absolutely sorry for that person . All they were trying to do was explain why they’re there and this nurse would not stop with her rude attitude. I had enough at this point and left without seeing the dr. I instead drove the 25 mins to Saugerties Barclay heights urgent care. I would not recommend anyone go to this location. Take your chances with the Kingston ER, and that’s saying a lot. Shameful!!
Very understanding explain things well and were very helpful and very pleasant attitudes
My original rating was 5 stars. When this facility changed to Nuvance, however, things went downhill fast. My wife was overcharged SEVERELY for a 15-minute exam which resulted in: Heres a prescription. If it doesnt get better after, see a specialist. This would have been fine, were it not for the egregiously high bill they sent afterwards. Its completely ludicrous and, frankly, should be considered criminal. We called to protest and were met with nothing but too bad. We will never go here again.
The staff was super friendly and resourceful. I went there with my 19 month old and we were in and out fast. They helped put my mind at ease.
Very clean facility, efficient and friendly staff (if slightly stressed these COVID days). One nurse was a little bit abrupt with me. I completely understand. The reason is that they have been seeing so many people due to COVID. They are working long days and taking risks as well. These people are acting rather heroic if you as me so give them a break when they are a little abrupt. So long as they remain polite I don’t see what’s the problem. When you visit an emergency facility it should be judged in cleanliness and efficiency. It never took more than 30 minutes back when I was tested, although now apparently there’s an hour wait. Also, my COVID test results came back within 48 hours each time I was tested.
If I could give a half a star I would. From the receptionist to the woman that took my vitals all were very rude. Was told I had to wait on the distancing circle before being checked in , after being checked in several people just walked up to the window. Secondly a guy came in complaining if covid-19 symptoms and was told to sit in the same waiting area as me. 3rd while in the exam room after waiting for over an hour I was told I can only be seen for one symptom when I explained I had several things going on. I had someone with me and they were treated like a second class citizen. Never again will I subject myself to this place
Amazing quick in and out I slept for the first time in 3 days I could not breathe .After being treated there I will never go to any other urgent care
Honestly, it’s taken me a few months to write this review. i won’t share the details of my experience with a nurse practitioner here (it’s a bit personal/TMI), but the way that i was treated was completely unacceptable. she was causing me extreme pain during an exam and despite me literally crying and telling her how much it hurt, she kept going and told me “it’s uncomfortable, but it doesn’t hurt.” receiving medical care is so anxiety inducing for me now. if you have any other options, i would avoid this place at all costs.
The best care you will ever receive in the Ulster County area! From the receptionists (PSRs) to the nurses, all the way to the providers. They are a great team and really know how to care for the patients! It truly is a welcoming family atmosphere! Thank you for making me a part of the Health-Quest/NUVANCE family, I will definitely be returning.
They pretended to take my insurance then sent me a bill for almost $400 for a visit that literally took 5 minutes. Just another scam “health care” organization that rips off poor people to enrich their wealthy executives.
I walked in, checked in easily, staff was friendly and professional, office was comfortable. Best experience at an urgent care in the area
Asked for cost to have some one look at my finger, I hit with a hammer, and they would give me the cost. I have a high deductible plan, which means it pays for nothing till I hit $13,000. So know the cost before I go is important. And by law they should provide there prices, not give me and idk untill someone looks at it. The urgent care in saugerties gave me their price
These heroes deserve an award. The staff are always so warm and professional. Due to the high volume of Covid tests, they are working SO hard, please give them the credit they deserve and show some kindness. We would crumble as a society without our Healthcare workers.
I have been there numerous times...it is the best walk in center! Extremely fast compared to hours of waiting!! All the staff were above and beyond friendly and professional. Got my results as promptly as the lab could complete them!! Highly recommend
Denied care because their computer system wasnt pulling up my insurance. No other options given. I had the card and everything, but wasnt allowed to be seen by the doctor. Absolutely unacceptable.
Came to walk-in clinic to have my toddler looked at cuz no one else is open. Sign says no walk-ins because of short staffing. How bad can it get. This is why ER is full.
Some of the receptionists were not wearing masks and were touching their faces for the entire time I was in the waiting room. Set an example for the public, medical staff can spread covid too. Im giving 3 stars however just because the techs were great.
Friendly, helpful, professional service for a non-life threatening emergency.
I didnt have to wait long everyone there was so nice I would definitely recommend people to go there
Called the number online and it said taking walk ins. We drive 45 minutes for them to tell us it would be a 7 hour wait. There was one person in the waiting room. Poor management.
Quick. Expert. Kind
It was easy to get an appointment. Everybody was nice and professional. I was seen in a timely manner.
Experience was awful I went for a sinus infection and bronchitis my nose was never checked my throat was never checked I was asked to take a Covid test immediately which I agreed to do my temperature was never checked. Also the nurse did not wear a mask when rooming me. I left there with prednisone due to having a wheeze in my chest which I already knew about being on an inhaler, and no answers about my sinus infection or potentially having bronchitis. Going to have to do a follow up with my primary care physician tomorrow.
Dr was great! Follow up 2 days later not as great
Everything from the check-in to the exam was so great. Everyone was friendly and professional, I would recommend this facility to anyone.
If I could give negative I would I come in really bad stomach pain and they just started making comments as I was filling out the paperwork saying I was basically being dramatic sense I have my period at the same time very rude and unprofessional
Worst experian ever.So now I will get a comment from their manager to send him an email to further discuss the issues that they take seriously. (joke). I SENT THE EMAIL. IT WAS REJECTED AT RECIPIENTS REQUEST. So I guess moving up the chain to the board of directors????BTW if anyone is in need of covid testing or health care go over to grand street in kingston ny they really are interested in helping us as a community. Gave us appointments as soon as I explain the same thing I explained to nuvance emergency care, and did so without being rude.
Everyone was very friendly and efficient! I would recommend DR Gorczynski & Columbia Memorial hospital to everyone!.
It was a long wait but thats nobody’s fault! Everyone was so kind and helpful and we got the help we needed. Inquisitive and respectful physician:) Definitely recommend
Wait was a bit long but otherwise very good
Will not go here again. People were nice and tried to help me, but it’s very upsetting that if you are told you’re COVID negative from a rapid test there’s nothing else they can do for you, and that “you can go back to work because you don’t have COVID.” Just because someone is negative for COVID doesn’t mean they aren’t still sick and possibly contagious!
*AVOID* health quest is insincere about costs. they lied to me , and are now charging $125 despite me having health insurance and also not seeing a doctor. I’ve been trying to resolve it for over a year with no avail. their poor customer service has cost me so much time. If you’re concerned about cost, avoid health quest altogether.
Horrible experience. Waiting 2 hrs just for a chest xray to come back. Doctors and nurses give u attitude for nothing and treat you like youre just a waste of their time. Never again.
The doctor was spot on with referring us to the emergency room, my son was admitted into the hospital. I cant thank you enough!
Very impressed with the quickness and service at Nuvance Urgent Care. The receptionist and nurse were very friendly and the CNP was caring, kind and funny
I was treated efficiently and effectively. The staff take time with you. They are competent, kind, and professional
The staff were friendly and listened to my concern. I also like that you can book an appointment online
Walked in Sunday place looked closed no cars in front I said I had sore throat and cough no insurance they said $310.00 I said that would explain the empty parking lot and left.BROKEN BROKEN SYSTEM.JOKE
They were very professional and courteous
Out of the seven times Ive been to this facility maybe three were acceptable. Im going to expand on that by telling you everyone Ive talked to feels similarly. This facility is very very very incapable of helping you with even the most minute problems.
Walked in at 5:30 p.m. door states closing at 8::00. Was told they were not taking anymore patients today. If your house was on fire would it be ok to be told no we are not doing any more houses today?
Quick accurate service. Will use again.
Never a long wait. The PA& Nurses are polite and listen to my ailments.
Im so glad I went to these guys! From entry to exit, everyone was so helpful. They listened and took the time to explain everything. This is a level of professionalism rarely seen these days.
Went for an x-ray and only was a 20 minute wait. People involved were kind and courteous.
Staff is always welcoming, makes you feel less anxious going.
They keep sending the whole bill even after my insurance sent them a check months ago. I called them and nothing got resolved. The call center people dont even know this clinic and rudely dropped the call.
The speed was what I loved the most, I will return and recommend my family
It was very good service
Nurse Laura doesn’t take patients seriously when they tell her issues and just says “go to the ER if this continues”
Took me in right away and doctor came in shortly after that. Very pleasant and professional.
Very kind, professional and thorough. Really appreciate your work. Im feeling much better.
They were super nice but took so long ! Over an hour and I’m still here! Ridiculous!! They aren’t for there patients☹️
My wife Theresa Bradford was very happy with Dr Laura Robinson
We’ve always had a great experience here. Facilities are clean, staff is friendly, and COVID protocols are decent.
In car 2hours to get ears flushed out. No one was friendly. Never againI am still in parking lot waiting for husband. Got here at 130 it is now 3:50 still waiting
