First time for this location, and told doesnt accept new patient upon my arrival, also was told they tried to call me in the past two weeks. OK, they all make sense. But I never received any calls, also its 2024, there are things called voice mail and emails, if you cant reach out to people, find another way to reach out, your system asked all my contacts in the past.
Edit:Pros: They do their due diligence of uploading records and they do give timely callbacks. The rotation system of changing Ob/gyns for every appointment is something you can opt out of doing and is more of a suggestion. I have met with other Ob/gyns besides my primary and theyre great. The nurses are exceptional. I have called a few times with random pregnancy-related issues and they have handled it systematically and with great patience every single time. Dr. Seymour and the office was much more systematic with his approach with me in the first appointments, and I prefer a physician who is willing to look at the evidence before deciding a diagnosis. For example, he did a physical examination and ultrasound for me when I mentioned a threatened miscarriage, and when I mentioned symptoms of a possible other problem, the nurses convened with Dr. Seymour and came back with suggestions for tests to run.Cons: The customer service attitude of the receptionists is variable depending on who is at the desk. Sometimes I get someone who is very patient and organized (so knows what appointments to make) and other times I get someone who looks at me blankly with a what do you want attitude and then asks what for what I want at check out, which I think doesnt make much sense. One time, I had someone who just pointed in directions of where I need to go instead of verbally communicating anything which really triggered me. One logistical thing that can be improved is scheduling lab work. I dont live close by and gas prices are very expensive, so if they know they need blood work done ahead of time, I wish they would book me for that along with my appointment so I wouldnt have to drive back an hour the next day.Because of all this, my review stays at 3.5 stars, meaning Im too tired to find another practitioner because I appreciate theyre more systematic than others, but the service is nothing to be excited about.
Today i went to my normal ultrasound appointment and 10 minutes early waited about an extra 30 minutes. the office staff is horrible, did not help whatsoever. i asked to speak to my doctor and refused to let me speak to him even after he had seen all his patients & even lied and said he was no longer there shortly before 5 pm closing time. they honestly did not even treat me as a pregnant human being / patient. i was also accused of being harassing towards them because i asked why i couldn’t speak to my doctor after my bloodwork and i honestly found that ridiculous & not appropriate, i was never rude or anything. now they changed my doctor and for many females once your comfortable with a doctor you wouldn’t want to get your doctor changed and so anyways i would definitely not recommend going here if you are a different race than them this is now going to be the 3rd review that is saying the same about the racial discrimination from these secretaries!!!
I had a horrible experience today as a 34 week pregnant woman. Today I went to my doctors as a walk-in to try and get a note and was called security on for no reason at all. I am a black woman and feel as though it was due to the color of my skin because i was not aggressive at all, or argumentative. I was simply sitting down and waiting for a response on whether or not they can accommodate me. Security was confused and went to find out why they were called when they saw me just sitting there. When they came back they said it was to protect me from corona. This place is a joke, the receptionists are so rude. Run for your life!!!
I recently had to switch doctors and am extremely happy (and relieved) I took a friends recommendation to try out Summit Medical Group. Every person I’ve come in contact with - the front door greeters, reception desk, nurses, OB doctor, lab and bloodwork team, and even the follow up appointment phone calls - have been professional and positive. Thank you SO much!!
I drove out my way for an appointment only to be told they had cancelled it because I was over 10 minutes late! They instead preferred I wait for them for half hour in waiting room during a pandemic! They couldnt accommodate me, horrible service. Look elsewhere if you want decent service and to be treated like a human being!
I have seen several Summit Medical Group doctors at this facility, and have been pleased with the quality of care, quality of the facilities, and wait times. One of the things that differentiates SMG from other healthcare networks is their digital record keeping. Through the patient portal, I can quickly gain access to any records for myself or my family, and each of my doctors can see what else is going on when I visit other in-network doctors (notes, scans, diagnoses).
I went to Livingston Urgent Care on Saturday 3/5 with symptoms of a DVT . I was told by the PA Alicja Rogacki that there was no ultrasound machine on premises and that I would need to drive another 15 mins further with a possible DVT in my right leg and that Berkeley Heights couldnt fit me in for a couple of hours. I asked if I could be given a prescription for an ultrasound as there are 2 imaging centers that were open 7 days a week in Clifton. Alicja Rogacki, PA, told me they couldnt write a prescription because they couldnt follow me. I am a patient at Summit Medical Group in Clifton and when I registered they were able to pull up my records. So if I was given a prescription, they could have pulled up my results. All during my visit I never saw a doctor nor was a given any discharge instructions with having a possible DVT.I went home and went for an ultrasound on Monday morning and I was positive for a DVT. So glad that nothing happened to me with the horrid care (if you want to call it that) that I was given.
I met Dr. Badalamenti and her assistant yesterday during my first visit. Their humor made me feel at ease right away and I cant wait to visit them again. Top notch professionals!
The staff is courteous, helpful and pleasant. Dr Lee patiently sat with both my husband and I and explained the procedure clearly. He carefully listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions.
Love this group. All doctors have access to your medical history. Makes life easier. Doctors are great too. Love their xray and blood lab in their building, very convenient.
WOW is all I have to say. I just called to see the next available date for an appointment -- They are booking out into December for a male doctor and January/February for a female doctor - IT IS OCTOBER 3rd. Apparently the available slots are for existing patients. So new patients are scum?
The people who answer the phone there desperately need customer service training. They come off as if you’re bothering them if you call with a question. At the end, you thank them and say have a good day and get a “mmhhmm” and they hang up on you. We weren’t even arguing they are just miserable. At least they answered my question so 2 stars.
Best! We love Dr. Badalamenti for our family. She is warm, smart and super thorough! Would highly recommend her to anyone.
I cant find other specialities to select. So, obgyn it is. Lol.Good experience so far, but I was a new patient. So, lets see how the follows up go.
I went in for a COVID test, where they told me the results would be back in 5-7 days. It’s now been 9 days and i still don’t have any results back. I would recommend going elsewhere.
Very bad communication and customer service. Its been the 3rd time they canceled my appointment last minute that I couldnt get other appointment for another month before the year end. Its VERY BAD!!!
This place is horrible. I went here for my skin check up with suspicious hive, I spend in all 5 minutes with doctor, basically doctor agreed that it is hive. There no diagnostic done or proper root cause study. it cost me $286. They have $40 for consultation on their rate card.
Wonderful Experience, Appointment was Given next day, Dr. Lee a great doctor. From entering the building to staff excellent!!!!
Dr. Ronna Sherman is a thorough and detailed professional who is a spectacular care giver. I would highly recommend her.
This place is the worst medical center I’ve ever been to. The doctors have no idea what they’re saying. On top of that they give wrong diagnoses.
For me its customer service. If you treat people with kindness it matters!
Horrbile experience. By the time you get someone on the phone, you could be dead. office staff rude
Very clean and efficient and much better than an emergency room
Came for a required COVID-19 testing, and was refused it.
Staff was very professional & courteous.
