Long Valley Pharmacy

Long Valley Pharmacy is simply the best. They are helpful and genuine. When I call they answer and help immediately- no waiting on hold forever. When you go in, they are so friendly and kind. They are always able to get my medicine, which is sometimes hard to find; not only that, but they somehow find coupons to offset the cost for me, all without asking. It is just their standard...which is wonderful. Their staff is the most helpful and kind; Angela deserves a shout out- always going above and beyond to help the customer. I am so glad to be doing business there- it is worth the drive from my home for the prompt and friendly customer service. I appreciate all that they do! Thank you!

I was in the pharmacy on Saturday morning and a young man named Matthew helped me in a flash. He greeted me with respect showed me what I was looking for a never treated me with an ounce of disrespect. Will be coming back soon hoping to see him there, now my new favorite store in town. I just wanted to say the the gentleman that was here yesterday delivering the medication to my group home I work for the Rose House. He was awesome he was a very nice man his name was Duro Daniel I just wanted to say thank you for being a sweet man

Some of the friendliest and welcoming people work at Long Valley Pharmacy!! They always greet me (usually by name!) and inquire about my husband; when he goes in, they greet him by name and ask about me (he runs a lot of my errands!).They’re always willing to help me with getting prescriptions refilled from my doctors, contacting them via fax and phone, and getting new or specialized medicines, not normally stocked, rushed to me. They have even delivered medication to me (free of charge) when I was feeling so poorly that I couldn’t go out; and made a special trip on their way home after the pharmacy closed for the night to deliver antibiotics that were called in late. They’ve sent friendly notices via text when my medication is ready for pick up. They search for the best price and often offer discounts and coupons on my meds.They are always available for a consultation and have flu vaccines and COVID-19 vaccines boosters readily available. (They were one of the first sites to have the initial Moderna vaccine! And each new round of boosters have always been easily available at LVP.)They treat me like family and I won’t go elsewhere if I have a choice. Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart and RiteAid, the other pharmacies within an 15-20 minute drive, all feel ‘cold and impersonal’. If you want to get your prescriptions (and specialty gifts not likely found elsewhere; cards for every occasion; toys and games; toiletries and sundries, first aid supplies, OTC supplements, CBD products, dog and cat goodies, souvenir clothing, hats, mugs and more; candy/gum and lotto tickets, at a pharmacy staffed with warm, friendly knowledgeable and patient people LONG VALLEY PHARMACY is where you want to go!

The lovely guy named Matthew in the back of the shop is a great help. I came in 3 minutes before they closed and he truly helped me find what I was looking for. I’ve never been treated with such kindness and respect. overall great guy and lovely place. Matthew you’re a true help.

I have lived in town for 3 years and really wanted to support local - however -with such bad service I should have switched to a different pharmacy a long time ago .While the store is beautiful and has lots of fun things in it - the pharmacy staff is terrible . I work in Healthcare and frequently talk and work with pharmacist and some how long valley pharmacy seems to continually be unhelpful to all members of my family .Examples include--never calling or texting when a med is ready- ever- even when asked to call .- regardless of when I say I will be in to pick up the med (because I did start calling in advance ) there is still a 20 minute wait and mad rushing behind the counter to locate the med and order- never any suggestion of alternatives that may be cheaper- even when given a coupon card- it is never applied to the next refill - “no… it is not 295$.. it is actually 9$ because of the coupon I give you every month”- never told that my med was on back order so when I went to pick it up - after calling and confirming - it wasn’t there .- constant hippa violations as the techs yell over the counter to ask you to spell your name , birthday, or med Information.- once I got a text in all caps telling me to pick up my med IMMEDIATELY or it would be put back … and then 20 minutes later a text that said “please ignore the previous message “ (because I didn’t have a med order , so i revise my previous statement - they did text me once , inappropriately)- inconsistent and dated refill system-requested refills of meds from the wrong physicianHonestly - the disorganization of this place is quite overwhelming and comical and I’m so surprised to see the good reviews- that has not been my experience. They have a lot of potential- but a lot of really poor processing and communication.

The pharmacist on duty was so kind. I was prescribed a new medication, and without asking, she took the time to council me on it and clearly label the bottles to make sure there were no gray areas. The care shown by the staff means a lot!

I was helped recently by a technician named Alexis who went above and beyond for me. I came in stressed out with lots of questions about a new prescription I was picking up for an ill family member and she was extremely knowledgeable and put me at ease, taking the time to make sure I was comfortable before leaving. I greatly appreciate the compassionate and professional service I received and will be returning in the future.

Hass to be one of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever been to currently transferring my medication and my family’s medication out of there the techs and the pharmacist at the front end are absolutely amazing. Upper management needs some work.

I cannot tell you how incredibly helpful this pharmacy is. Brittany went above and beyond to help me communicate with my daughters doctor to get her the medication she desperately needs. They have been our strongest advocate and I cant say enough good things about them.

Claimed he had an ordering period which he was no longer in and couldnt get my medication, after I was already told it was in stock. Being an epilepsy medication this is not okay. I was told my medication couldnt be ordered for another thirty days. Id probably be dead. Thanks.Store owner called and apologized for any ill intentions. have always enjoyed this location until todays frustrating experience. had given a one star but am bumping it up to a four since this has been my only bad interaction at this store, even though I went to a pharmacy closer to me after to fill my medication and had it within two hours. Generally I would go out of my way for this pharmacy and its staff.

Great pharmacy. It helps when the kids are sick to get the medication compounded into in a format that’s easier for them to take. They even deliver so you don’t have to stop by with sick children.
