I saw Dr. Price for years before she had to leave and I was devastated. I saw most of the doctors there while I was pregnant and didnt like only 2 of them (could have been hormones though) so I was worried seeing someone new. Dr. Lewis was fantastic though! She took the time to review my entire chart and knew all the things about me and took time to make sure I was comfortable with her. This office is awesome and I recommend them to everyone! They are very efficient. Sometimes appointments can be tough to get if you need to get in quick with your certain doctor but they usually can always get you in quick with someone if you arent picky. And that is usually how it goes when you find the best docs! Like I said, Ive seen the majority of the doctors and the nurse practitioners and they are all great.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Cartwright and Dr Warren. They took my concerns seriously the first time when others hadnt, ordered the appropriate testing immediately, and got me the appropriate treatment quickly. They didnt try to change my mind when I opted for the more extreme surgical measures when many would have due to my age and lack of children. They they were kind, empathetic, explained everything clearly, and trusted I knew what I wanted for my body and my future, and I appreciate that so much.

I love the doctors and PA Ive seen but the rest of the staff seem to hate life. They are not pleasant, disinterested in your phone call, barely a smile, etc. My annual appointment has been canceled on me twice this year via a text/email not saying why its having to be canceled and for ME to contact THEM to reschedule instead of them giving me a call to apologize and get me rescheduled right away. And their website is awful for scheduling... never seems to work properly.Parking is awful too... factor yourself an extra :10 into your time allotment for finding a parking spot and actually walking the whole parking lot to get into the building.

UPDATE- This facility is not interested in patient care or customer service, I left a message for Lauren and have to receive a call back. 8/23DO NOT GO HERE!!! If you value your health, choose another facility. I was called from the waiting room into the exam that had another patients urine open and exposed. When I expressed my concerns to Karen, the Clinical Nursing Manager, she said well we have to hold those samples in case the doctor needs them. It was open urine, unlabeled urine samples. The healthcare system and customer service are on severe decline, with the employees having zero respect and pride in the job they do. Sve yourself the head ache.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cartwrights for over 30 years. She is the best ! Their Mammogram office however is why I only gave 3 stars. Denise, the receptionist, is absolutely rude. I sat over an hour and as a caregiver I asked if it would be longer as I needed to get home to let my sitter leave. She literally said it would be awhile and placed my paperwork behind the long stack of people waiting. Another lady had to leave after waiting due to another appointment across the hall. I continued to receive glares from the techs working. Ive left a message for the director of this office and never heard from Lauren. I wont have Mammograms here ever again.

Had I written this review right after the birth of my last child, it would have been 5 stars. Howvever, my recent visit and interactions have led me to find another provider. They are not upfront with billing practices. While your insurance may cover their basic of services, other services are not covered, especially those rendered by other companies. (E.g. mammogram, labs, ultrasounds, etc). If you have an urgent issue and have an outstanding bill of any amount, they will NOT schedule you for an appointment at all. Which leaves you to find a new provider, of course which means you will have to wait some time for an urgent matter. I understand as professionals, they should be paid, but billing needs to be more transparent prior to treatment. Now instead of having my concerns addressed, I must now find a new provider and pray that I am able to be schedule soon..

I went in for an IUD replacement. I was given no pain medication until I asked, they removed the IUD, and then on attempted reinsertion, the NP did not use an ultrasound for guidance, saying it was unnecessary. The NP was not successful (tilted uterus, which would’ve been seen in an ultrasound) until many attempts, which left me in significant pain after she kept jamming the IUD in and out of my cervix. I went back two days later after heavy cramping and slight bleeding, and I was told we couldn’t attempt a second time until I had another period. Came back a month later, at which point I had to firmly ask for an ultrasound for the second insertion and it went fine.An ultrasound and pain medication should be standard faire for an IUD insertion, and I really didn’t need the nurse who took my blood pressure’s opinion on whether I should have had kids by now or not. I will never come back here, and will strongly recommend that anyone goes to any other practice in Louisville. Received a bill for ~$450 later in the mail for both attempts. I have never been in so much pain and felt so unsupported by medical staff.

I will not return to Womens First and after my most recent visit have called many women in my family and network to consider doing the same. This is maybe your mothers gyno (guilty) but they are not with the times on patient/physician care, relationships/trust, and womens wellbeing. While the physician I saw was knowledgeable and gave recommendations based on my concerns, the time of care in room, the speeding through the exam, and the signage within the exam room was inadequate and inappropriate.Specially what MUST be addressed is the sign In the exam room that read “Eat less. Exercise more.” This sign is so dangerous, not based on science or actual dietary guidelines, and is a trigger for any person whom may struggle with an eating disorder. The fact that it’s in a physicians office, let alone one for women, and for women who may be pregnant, or having complications from their hormones that cause fluctuations in weight, mentally or physically struggle with weight is absolutely ABSURD. Like how many teenage women are coming to their first gynecological exam and this is what they see. CAN YOU IMAGINE?!!! Womens First, Why is this in your office? Why is it in the exam room, the only thing to read on the wall as you are undressing and made to feel uncomfortable? The only thing you can see when sitting on the exam table? This has to be removed at once. Like yesterday. Like never should’ve been there but maybe they forgot they put it up in the 80s and never took it down but WHY IN 2022 is it still there?!!! What it tells me is this practice is on autopilot- a very dangerous culture.I noticed the sign as soon as I entered The exam room and was ready to ask Dr. Cartwright about it but she came in so quick and immediately jumped into questions for me about my IUD — all without introducing herself. I was Disarmed by the force in which she entered the room and she got right to the exam with no real bedside manner or alerting me to what she was doing. In all she was in my exam room for at most 6 minutes. No time for me to truly express any concerns or ask questions. Let me be clear there wasn’t conversation. It’s was rather what felt like her mansplaining about what the lumps in my breasts probably are… she didn’t want to slow down and get more context or patient history.I do appreciate her recommendations but the speed of her exam, inability or interest in building a relationship or trust with the patient, and the ignorant and harmful signage in the exam room will lead me to look for another provider.I hope to hear back from WF that they’ve removed this sign.

Honestly, if I could give this practice zero stars, I would, but Google won’t let me give it zero so it gets one. This is by far the worst OB/GYN practice I have been to. Upon arrival you were not met with the receptionist, but are expected to sign in via a tablet/kiosk. Then you have to fill out all of your paperwork via an online link, which is incredibly inconvenient if you have an extensive medication list, surgery history, etc. There were so many people needing to be seen, taken back, being brought back, etc. that it felt like they were herding us like cattle. I saw, Jeanette, Jaggers, APRN, and from the beginning of my visit, she was not concerned as so much with my symptoms, pain, abnormal bleeding for 50+ days, etc. but more so my weight. She even when is far to recommend that I start “Weight Watchers“. My husband and I have also been trying to conceive for sometime now, Miss Jaggers was made aware of this. After being made aware of this, she proceeds to give me a sample of medication to help with the symptoms. Upon doing further research, and contacting my previous OB/GYN I was informed that this medication is actually BIRTH CONTROL. I am shocked and disappointed. Miss Jaggers was made well aware that we are trying to conceive & proceeded to give me medication WITHOUT telling me that it’s a BIRTH CONTROL. I’m sorry, but this is wrong and unacceptable. One may go as far to say a form of medical malpractice. If you’re thinking of going here for care, I implore you, please go elsewhere.

Brooke Taylor Gahn APRN, literally changed my life. I don’t say this often about a provider but she really goes on and beyond for her patients! I will give my testimony, for 13 years I thought what I had was a incurable diagnosis and I was really unaware of the proper treatment, I was completely ignorant of the state my body. I lived in fear that one day I would fall to certain consequences of the diagnosis. Brooke did her normal routine blood work, studied my labs, took the time to call me and send me to specialists and I was properly diagnosed. I was diagnosed with something completely different, I no longer live in fear! On another occasion when I went for a routine check, she saw something odd on my blood panel and told me to check with my PCP, so that physician sent me to get CT scans and I was diagnosed with a certain issue on my liver that is completely reversible. But if it wasn’t for Brooke I would have never known. What I am saying is she’s here saving lives! She is so valuable to your company! Please take care of her, she is an accent to your company. It’s medical professionals like her that restores faith in humanity.

I went to Womens First for the first five months of my pregnancy. Every time I went I felt like a number and received very impersonal care and no information/guidance. This is my first pregnancy. The last straw for me was seeing a specific doctor last week, whom I had a lot of questions for. I told her I was interested in potentially pursuing a non-medicated birth and she said, Youre not going to get a gold star from us with an extremely judgmental tone. I then proceeded to ask questions about the birthing rooms and laboring process, because again its my first pregnancy and I dont know what to expect, and she seemed defensive and acted like I was interrogating her. I was honestly shocked and hurt by her demeanor and response to what I think are pretty basic questions for a first-time mother. I did call the GM and left a message but never heard back. I have transferred my care to another practice.

My wife had a couple appointments here. Care was fine but their billing practices are highly immoral. The doc recommended a procedure and then we find out the office “isn’t contracted” with the insurance so we would have to pay out of pocket. But….the office takes the insurance. The woman even said “don’t call the insurance because they’re going to say they cover it.” Well…. We called the insurance and they pay for the procedure and even verified they covered it at this office. My guess is they didn’t want to have to accept the discounted insurance price and this was their way out of it. They also tried to say we couldn’t use our HSA because “no one had done that here before.” It was so ridiculous, it probably sounds made up, but I can assure you it happened. On an unrelated note, she also had blood taken for a genetic test 3 months ago and still does not have the results. She has called the office multiple times and they keep saying they are contacting the lab to figure out what happened to the sample. It looks like our insurance wasn’t billed for it, which is good at least, but I don’t understand how blood is taken for a test and then just disappears.Needless to say, we won’t be back. The doctors here need to control their office staff.May 2023 update: my wife has tried calling multiple times to follow up and no one will even return her phone calls. The response I received here acting like they care about fixing their problems is clearly not sincere. And that assumes she can even get through to an answering machine to begin with.

Without going into detail, my experience at the hospital I delivered my first child at (not Baptist) was so traumatic that I had to go to therapy. So while I was excited to go elsewhere for my second, I was still incredibly scared and anxious. I am so grateful I chose to go with Baptist. My experience was the polar opposite from the hospital I had my first child at. From my very first appointment, the staff have been friendly and helpful. From the women who schedule appointments to the nurses who get my vitals before seeing the doctor, to the hilarious nurses who do blood work, to the doctors and staff who work directly below them, I felt safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout this entire experience. My main doctor, Dr. Johnson, was very informative and when a hiccup occurred, she monitored me to make sure everything was ok. Emily Graehler was always quick to respond to my messages and Debora found an issue, let me know if it, and spent a hefty chunk of her day trying to resolve the issue. The first nurses I had during my labor (Katherine & Melissa) were informative, clear, concise, funny, and nurturing. When the shift rotated, I was under the care of a nurse that I did not feel comfortable with AT ALL. My husband let the head of staff know and she immediately listened to my concerns and switched nurses for me. The nurse who I ended up with, Katie, is an absolute godsend. I felt so safe and secure around her and any time I had a question or needed her assistance, she was there. She did an amazing job calmly coaching me through delivery and was just overall so genuinely kind and thoughtful. Dr Brown ended up delivering my baby for me and I was shocked to later hear she had delivered 4 babies within an hour prior to my delivery. These women work a super busy, high stress job yet are so focused, calm, and make you feel like you’re the only person delivering a baby for the day. I truly don’t know how they do it, but I won’t question it lol. I am just so grateful for the staff at Baptist and for the pleasant experience I had there. I will never go elsewhere. The hospital food there is also the best hospital food I’ve ever had. So a quick thank you to the chefs as well.

I left this place 10 years ago because it was so incredibly impersonal. I could never get through to my doctor or even an employee who had read my file when I had questions. I found a wonderful concierge doctor who is committed to patient relationships and informed care. Unfortunately, I had to return to this office as follow up to a procedure I had over 10 years ago. It is EXACTLY the same. The person who took my vitals had no idea why I was there and asked questions then talked over me when I tried to answer as she stared at her computer. At checkout, I was asked when I wanted to schedule my annual visit since I was re-establishing myself as a patient. Im so grateful I was able to say that I have a different doctor now. I absolutely love this office and I have been a patient since 2016. I have always felt safe and cared for both during and after my pregnancy’s. Both of my pregnancy’s were hard in different ways ranging from physical to emotional. My OBGYN Dr. Grider recently took it upon herself to help find me a doctor who specializes in pelvic pain. I know whoever she finds that I will trust. She does so much for her patients and goes above and beyond in her care. In the Women’s First office you can be transparent with your providers and not feel judged, and if you’re in pain they take your pain seriously. They also do an amazing job of helping moms navigate through PPD/PPA. When you call their office I speak to Stephanie who is the Clinical Care Team Coordinator and she is fabulous, kind and efficient. Kristin Hord is the PA to Dr. Grider and she is just as wonderful in all that she does. Dr. Johnson I have also seen multiple times and she is great in her field as well. I have only been to this office once about a year ago. I needed a pap smear and birth control, but I was also concerned about some possible mental health issues related to hormone changes. I saw Peggy Wolf, who prescribed me an anti-depressant to address this problem. The problem was, I was already on an anti-depressant (which they knew because they have you give them all your medication information as a new patient). After talking to the pharmacist and my general doctor, who said I should absolutely NOT be taking two anti-depressants (SSRI class) at the same time, I called the Women First office to talk to them about this. I had to call several times to get someone to call me back. When they did call back, there was no recognition that they had done something problematic. Rather, I was told that she didnt know you were already on an anti-depressant and all blame was laid on me for the situation. It was on my chart- they absolutely knew what medications I was already taking.I gave them an opportunity to address the situation by calling, and they didnt take responsibility for the screw-up. If you dont have a solid understanding of psych medication (and potential interactions) you shouldnt be prescribing it. My in-person/in-office experience with Peggy was fine; however, because I was prescribed a medication that I should not have been taking with the medication I was currently on and then blamed for this, I have ZERO trust in her and the staff at Women First. I will not be going back.

At the same time they sent a letter stating something was found on my mammogram. I had a higher level mammogram performed and to this date I have NEVER received the results. I have since gone to another doctor to receive a clear mammogram. Oh and my test results were negative. I should be compensated for the extreme stress and worry this establishment placed on me!

After hearing so many stories about medical gaslighting lately, I am finally ready to share my story.I began going to Women First about 3 years ago. Upon my first experience, I felt fine but definitely felt rushed and not very welcomed. I also felt very judged for my weight, around 180 pounds. I’ve always struggled to lose weight and I could never figure out why, no matter how much diet change and exercise I attempted. That being said, 1 year later I stopped birth control after gaining over 100 pounds and having major issues with anxiety. When I brought these issues up to my doctor and explained my struggles to lose weight, I was told that so many women come in there to find an excuse to live overweight. I was then given papers that suggested specific diet books to look into because, of course, all my issues could be fixed with diet and exercise. The doctor continually hounded me about my diet, convinced that I had to be eating tons of carbs and sugar (not a usual in my diet anyway). I continually denied her advances about my diet and asked her what she wanted me to say. She finally agreed to take some blood work, but told me she doubted it would show anything. A month later, no phone call from the doctor. Just a letter in the mail that said I need to start taking more vitamin D. No further help with my health issues. Then, I began receiving health magazines in my mailbox all about the importance of dieting. It was a slap in the face; I’ve never felt more humiliated. I wanted to give up entirely on trying to find any help. I was convinced my issues were all in my head and that the doctor was right. Here I am now, a year later, and I finally had the courage to leave this practice and find another doctor. I have since found out that I have serious issues with glucose absorption and have been diagnosed with PCOS. I wasn’t just looking for an excuse. I was looking for a doctor who cared enough to help me get to the bottom of my issues. I am now 15 pounds down and still steadily losing weight each day.Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself! Your instincts are there for a reason: don’t let others make you doubt, even if those “others” are doctors. You deserve to be heard and cared for regardless of your weight, your doubts, others’ opinions, etc. Do not give up on finding your answers! I’m so glad I did not!

First visit was not a good impression. No one said hello or even good day. Very impersonal. I got talked down to because they put my name in wrong and I was trying to ensure it would be ok for insurance. I tried to get it fixed. Im not sure its fixed yet. Dr said she would send meds to my pharmacy and that has not happened yet. Dr seemed like she was on a time limit in the room. Despite my clear discomfort and tears before and during the exam, I was not given the opportunity to put my clothes back on after the exam but before a discussion with the Dr. It wasnt a discussion but more like a monologue which gave me the impression that the Dr was only allowed x amount of time with the patient. Im not sure this is how to put women first.

I have done a lot of reflection on if I should post this or not. I am 21 years old and had my first appointment here back in July. To preface, I have a pretty complex and extensive medical history. I went through the whole process of telling the MA my whole medical history, medications, surgeries, my family medical history, I had also mentioned I only had one of my ovaries etc.. The nurse comes in and she thinks Im trying to get pregnant, and doesnt know Im on birth control. I was not trying to get pregnant, I can’t even have children in the first place; I am also on birth control, it was listed with my other medications. Then Dr. Warren comes in and asks me why I think I have one ovary because its extremely rare in woman. I stated its because my other doctor told me I had one after I had an ultrasound and it showed only one, and I have Turner syndrome which is extremely common, Dr. Warren says oh well that is very likely then…I feel like they didn’t even look at my chart or communicate with one another about my medical history? Thats the only plausible explanation I have. I may be young but I know quality patient care, Ive been dealing with doctors for my whole life and this was just a very disappointing experience.TL;DR: Don’t go here if you’re medically complex.

Doctor was a misogynist. She believes that as a 25 year old I cannot make a decision for my own body and health. She let me know that because I had a mental disorder I needed to be properly medicated for months (I am actually in a very good place mentally), have a psychiatrists approval, and make sure my BOYFRIEND was okay with it. I walked out of the office immediately. She believes that it would be better for someone with a mental disorder to be pushing out a bunch of kids than to simply listen to the person she was talking to. What a horrible disgusting place with awful, discriminatory doctors. No permission needed to have a kid, jumping through hoops to do the responsible and ethical thing. Weirdos...Also the doctor walked in on me undressing without even knocking first. Luckily I didnt let her touch my body at all.

I had been seeing my doctor here for about 3 years. Me and my husband were talking about growing our family and I had that discussion with my doctor here and wanted to have a rapport. I was never that impressed due to terrible communication and lack of empathy. Upon getting pregnant I went with another provider for prenatal care. I have a medical condition that my OB said I needed to have addressed by my gyno so I made the appointment, took the day off work, I’m sitting there pantsless and not even my own doctor came in to tell me that she can’t provide the medical help I require. Total waste of time, lack of professionalism on many employees parts, oh, and there’s that terrible communication!

I had gone to Womens First because I had seen a doctor there before that was very detailed and could tell cared about me as a patient. I am completely upset overwhelmed by my visit today. Not only could I hear the office staff talking about me after I was in the exam room but they were laughing about what I said to them. This is no laughing matter! When Dr. Carrie Frederick came into the room she asked me what I was there for? After answering a serious of questions by the office staff then she should know what I was there for. I have a medical condition which did not explain to me what was going on with my ovaries. She just said everything look good and I am still in question of what exactly is going on with me medically wise. Lastly, I would like to say that when I checked out they said what do you need and I handed them my paper and they said that was it like I was bothering them. The whole visit was a nightmare and I will never go there again. Not only do I not know what is going on with me medically wise, I was humiliated by the office staff, the doctor gave me no knowledge of what was going on, and lastly at checkout the person seemed annoyed that I was there. Im sorry to give this review but it was a horrible experience!

I give this place four stars because every time I call I will always be on hold for quite a long time, even if I have a simple question. Sometimes I will wait 15 minutes to talk to a person, and then that person will need to redirect my call to another department and Ill wait another 15 minutes to talk to that person. Hopefully you never have to call them for anything besides appointments.Other than that, though, this is a good place. The doctors are great, and there are several here, so dont hesitate to see someone new each time until you find one that clicks really well for you. I personally see Kristen Hord: shes nice and does good work. She talks at a fast clip, which is great for me because I like to be efficient, but if you prefer conversation to be a little slower, I would still recommend any of the other doctors here.

Womens First felt more like Time Management First. After 30 minutes of thorough questioning prompted by the nurse, the doctor came into my room without reading my charts (indicated by the questions she asked) hurried, flustered, and barely giving me time to breathe between sentences, much less answer thoroughly. While waiting to get a birth control insert removed, three different people came and asked the same questions, leaving me frustrated and overwhelmed. Could have been an off day - however, I left highly dissatisfied, questioning the professionalism and boasted empathetic nature of this office.

You would think that an office that helps deliver babies would be more understanding and caring, but they are the exact opposite. I cannot tell you enough what an awful experience I had. I have had my fair share of issues with this practice during the 16 years I was a patient, but I finally severed ties. This practice prioritizes greed and billing copays over providing compassionate, convenient care, and for that reason, I now have to inconvenience myself to find another provider. But if you are considering this practice, just know that it is always crowded, running behind schedule, and difficult to get in for your annual appointment.

I have been going there for many years. the doctors are great! their system is HORRIBLE. As a MOM with CHILDREN it is very hard to make appointments anywhere. This office will NOT see you for multiple issues. they will schedule an appointment for each individual issue you have. I personally do not have the time to keep going back to the office lugging around my kids. They like to send you to your family physician first for something they should be able to treat. what is the point if i am being bounced around.BOTTOM LINE: great doctors but they are clearly there to make things easier for themself, not for YOU. If I could give zero stars, I would. Billing departments is an ABSOLUTE nightmare. My girlfriend and I decided to come here once we found out she was pregnant. Dr. Lewis has been great. Billing department has been awful. They continuously messed up the insurance in the system. My girlfriend was still on her parents policy but they can’t putting her as being the one with the policy in her name. So it was NEVER paying the bills. The lady who works in window 2 with the glasses, is RUDE as rude can get. I’m in management in retail and I see all aspects of customer service, if she worked for me, she would be GONE. She doesn’t care about anyone except getting the money for Money First, I mean, women’s first. She never corrected the insurance, so instead of it ever be covered, we had to contionously shell out money. We paid our ONE $1,700 bill that they asked us to pay. So we did. Then, we had to pay $800. THEN another $312. As my girlfriend is sitting at almost 39 weeks as of today. We was sitting in women’s first and we overhead the SAME lady, messing up someone else insurance. Like, this is just ridiculous. We won’t be back here with our other children.

Updating because its important. My doctor introduced risks into my labor and delivery entirely because they just wanted to be done and move on to the next patient. It is a numbers game for them. They are flatly dishonest regarding whether or not they are natural birth friendly. They want to see as many women as possible. When I described my labor and delivery experience with them to friends in other states who are labor and delivery nurses they gasped. They had never witnessed doctors risking patient safety and introducing unnecessary procedures to the degree practiced by my doctors at Women First. She pulled my umbilical cord after I delivered to speed up the placenta delivering which is a practice that since 2012 all data suggests is not only needless but dangerous. It can cause serious like threatening problems. In my case the umbilical tore from my placenta. Then before allowing me to nurse my baby (which very naturally causes contractions pushing the placenta out) she dug around inside me with her hand to try to grab the placenta. I was unmedicated and had just given birth to my son and instead of nursing him and holding him Im screaming because she just wanted to move on with her day. My doula demanded I be able to nurse. I nursed and the placenta naturally delivered without agony. My doula said she had never seen a doctor do any of those things. It was awful.

I wish I had seen the negative reviews before scheduling my appointment, and I’m sorry to say the reviews are valid. The most offensive part of my visit was a sign perfectly positioned to stare you in the face across from the exam table in the examination room saying in capitalized font, “EAT LESS, EXERCISE MORE”. I can’t imagine why a women’s office (or any office!) would think body shaming every single patient that enters the exam room is appropriate. The OBGYN is already an extremely vulnerable place to have to go regardless of the circumstances, and to add this on top of it made for a really insulting experience. I will never go back.

How this business has a 3.5 rating on google and higher rankings on other sites is beyond my mind. The care I received at my initial visit was amazing! She listenened to my concerns and gave me multiple scenarios of what may be going on. Though it didnt take long for me to realize this practice uses scare tactics to make you schedule additional appts. Not only that, but their billing standards are totally jacked up for a place that is supposed to be affiliated with a hospital. I was pushed to believe I needed diagnostic testing and feared for the worst...however when my appt came around I was slapped in the face with a large bill that I was required to pay up front. I was caught a little off guard and unfortunately had to cancel my appt and reschedule because I couldnt afford the payment at the moment. I had to explain this to two people before leaving and felt completely embarrassed; as this took place in two different waiting areas. I was literally in tears and made to feel terrible that I couldnt afford this payment up front. I work in the medical field and would never make a patient feel this way! At this point I didnt want to come back but I forced myself to because I knew I needed the testing done. I went to my next appt and paid everything up front, and voila no cancer! I was sent out the door with a prescription and told to come back in a year. Thats fine! I just didnt plan on coming back and was happy I no longer had to deal with this place anymore.Heres the REAL kicker....its nearly 2 months later and Im now getting a bill for the same amount Ive already paid. The statement shows that a payment has never been received, though I used two forms of payment on the DOS. Ive called multiple times and havent received a call back. This place is a joke! The nurse practitioner insisted that I get on birth control even after I told her that my husband was out of the country and that I was practicing abstinence. I explained that my husband and I wanted to have at least one more baby when he returned, but she looked at me with disdain and continued to try to convince me to take birth control. I had my first child with WF: I was induced, had 72 hours of labor and it all ended with a c-section. I wasnt unhappy but I also wasnt educated on how meaningful birth could be.I decided to put my faith in WF and have my second child with them and attempted a VBAC. They said that they were VBAC-friendly, but in the end, they were not. They tried to force me into a c-section at 38 weeks and then each appointment thereafter. Then, when I went in to labor at 40 weeks, Dr. Brown openly scolded me in the hospital while she recorded me (on her iPhone) turning down an immediate c-section. She did this despite the fact that I had previously signed a consent form about VBAC. Keep in mind that I wasnt refusing a c-section; I simply wanted to try a vaginal birth. I ended up with a c-section with Dr. Johnson and was perfectly happy with that outcome, but wanted the opportunity to try laboring.I would not recommend this practice to moms hoping for a natural birth or a VBAC.One other note: they were also very unfriendly to my doula who was, as doulas are, very respectful.
