Dr. Sunny Jun, Nurse Louise and the rest of the care team were very detail oriented. Like others, I didn’t focus on Dr. Jun’s punctuality because there are many patients and the nature of this speciality is all about prioritizing timing for egg retrieval and embryo transfer. I will always be grateful that Dr. Jun clocked my endometriosis right away. This greatly impacted my successful egg retrieval and first embryo transfer. There is little to no hand holding here and that’s okay. Fertility treatment was a challenging experience but well worth it.
This was the absolute worst experience with a doctor Ive ever had. I waited for over 30 minutes for a telehealth consultation without any notice that the doctor would be late. At first, I assumed it was an issue with the app, so I tried calling CCRM, but no one bothered to answer. The only person who picked up was a new patient coordinator in Missouri, who spent 30 minutes trying to help me. After an absurd amount of time, a medical coordinator finally called me, only to say the doctor would be another 5 minutes late—by then, I had already been waiting far longer than that. The whole situation was beyond ridiculous. When I eventually spoke to Dr. Sunny Jun, she showed absolutely no concern for her patient. When I voiced my frustration with the clinics total lack of communication and efficiency, she dismissed my concerns, saying it’s common in the medical field and if I cared about that, I should find another clinic. Her unprofessional and dismissive attitude was deeply disappointing. I’ve never encountered such a lack of respect and care in any medical setting.
We chose this clinic because they were in-network with our insurance. While we were satisfied with the medical care, the clinic fell short in handling prior authorizations and billing. Specifically, they incorrectly required me to pay the visit fee upfront, which should have been billed to my secondary insurance. These resulted in unnecessary out-of-pocket expenses of around $2000 and considerable time spent resolving the issue with our insurance company. If the clinics finance department and prior authorization process had been done correctly, these errors could have been avoided.
I came to CCRM after 2 failed healthy embryo transfers at another clinic and no further tests were recommended to check for underlying issues. Dr. Tazuke has been amazing from the first time I met her. She ordered additional testing and found that I had adenomyosis that needed to be treated first before I do another embryo transfer. I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant from my 1st embryo transfer with Dr. Tazuke and I still have 2 healthy embryos left. I also love that acupuncture is offered before & after the embryo transfer. I’m so happy I’ve gotten this far and would highly recommend Dr. Tazuke.
I refuse to give them any credit, especially Dr. Sunny Jun. She has zero respect for patients time, constantly shows up late, and leaves you waiting for more than 30 minutes with no way to reach her team. The lack of professionalism is infuriating. If you want to spare yourself a nightmare experience, steer clear of this clinic at all costs.
I had a wonderful experience with CCRM! After years of struggling with infertility and several failed attempts at another clinic, I had a successful transfer on my first attempt with CCRM. I’m currently four months pregnant! I highly recommend Dr. Tazuke! She is knowledgeable, professional, understanding and always made me feel I was being heard and not alone in this process. The CCRM staff from the very beginning and throughout the process, were welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend CCRM!
Horrible communication. Cannot contact our Doctor, we have not even had chance to speak to our doctor since the initial consultation! Nurses are never available to contact by phone and do not respond to messages promptly. They made a huge blunder that delayed our medication while in crucial step of cycle and nobody is available to immediately address. Do not go here, way too stressful.
I am just on beginning of their treatment but already regret the money and time I put in. The things is I can not callback because I have put so much time and effort in this matter, if I start with other place, I have too start over. Here is how I do not like CCRM:1. They have long online module training, they say you have to complete it otherwise will slow progress. This is like they tryin to get away with their liabilities, they provide pre-video and expect you will train yourself.2. Weekend no response, we can not expect people to work on weekend for many other business, but I think fertility or hospital should have exception, because people will need help on weekend, we can not determine when I get sick or when period can come.3. They communication is through App-Salve which is not efficient, they do not give Dr Email so you have to work with rest of staff, but they do not know your plan and have to talk to Dr.4. Their work up mtg is useless, they could make the draft plan on the initial consulting mtg and if diagnose report does not fit, then dr can email pt to discuss or mtg to discuss. Not need for every patient. The initial mtg and workup mtg really could be one, they use two mtg to add cost to the treatment.I will keep update my review as the journey goes... hope they can adjust the problem.
CCRM has gone above and beyond to help us build our family. My husband and I switched to CCRM after six failed attempts at another clinic. They came highly recommended and did not disappoint! Dr Salem not only welcomed us with compassion and hope, but he treated us like real people. The team fought hard for us and found answers. We are now expecting our rainbow baby! Thank you, CCRM! Especially Dr Salem, Margaret and Lillian. The team is responsive, facilities top notch and everything was just EASY.
I am delighted to share my incredible experience with CCRM San Francisco. Dr. Tazukes expertise and care have made a profound impact on my life, helping me achieve not just one, but two beautiful pregnancies. My journey to motherhood was far from straightforward, but Dr. Tazukes unwavering dedication, along with the exceptional resources at CCRM, played a crucial role in making it possible. Through a series of unique tests and personalized medication combinations, the team at CCRM ensured that my embryo transfer was a success. I am convinced that only CCRM possesses the knowledge, state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and superb embryologists to tackle complex cases like mine. The staff at CCRM San Francisco deserves special mention for their incredible support throughout my journey. Kimberly and Fatima, the ultrasound technicians, were not only highly skilled but also compassionate. Anant, the phlebotomist, always made the blood work process as painless as possible. And Shanna, my nurse coordinator, was nothing short of amazing, providing constant care and attention. My heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at CCRM San Francisco for helping me realize my dreams of motherhood, not once, but twice. I wholeheartedly recommend CCRM to anyone facing challenging fertility issues – they truly are the best in the business.
I had an initial consultation with Dr Jun, but in order to schedule a second meeting for the actual plan has been almost close to impossible. My coordinator Vanessa is almost non existent. She doesnt respond to my messages. Its been several months since my initial visit from April until Jul and I have yet to get started with any treatment. They made my husband come in for blood draw then forgot some test and make him do it again. We keep needing to jump hoops and havent even schedule a doctor. Please if theres an actual person I cant talk with instead of a non-responding app, let me know before end of the year! Its a time sensitive that Im trying to pursue!
This is a long due review. I went through fertility treatments with Dr. Tazuke at CCRM and as a result I have a baby girl just celebrated her first birthday.Dr. Tazuke was great. She listens to your concerns carefully, explains everything, encourages you at every step, and most importantly treats you with empathy. During my time at CCRM, I also got to work with Dr. Jun and had a wonderful experience with her as well. Other care team including nurses, lab technicians, surgical staff and embryologists are exceptionally professional and discuss every detail with you. I always appreciate welcoming smile of the front desk members and they made you feel like home. I am not a medical expert to comment on their medical process but based on the limited research I feel CCRM facility is cutting edge.I would definitely recommend CCRM team.
As a patient, I believe it is crucial for healthcare providers to respect the time and needs of their patients, and unfortunately, Dr. Sunny Jun from CCRM (San Francisco) has failed to do so. I was left feeling disappointed and frustrated by their lack of communication and inability to provide the care and attention that I require. I have been charged for my initial consultation and never been contacted for further steps from clinic. The coordination system is a nightmare. I would caution others considering Dr. Sunny Jun clinic to be aware of their poor communication and follow-up practices. It is important to feel confident in the care that you are receiving and if Dr. Sunny Jun clinic cannot provide that level of care, it may be best to seek alternative options.
Dr. Wael Salem is an incredible doctor! He is patient, knowledgeable, and talented. His nurse Margaret is also a gem and so wonderful! Dr. Salem has a better bedside manner than any doctor I’ve ever met - so kind and reassuring. He takes a very scientific approach, using the best and most current methods. He also takes the time to explain everything in detail. Like many going through the fertility journey, ours was a long painful and complicated process. I wouldn’t have wanted any other doctor by our side. I highly recommend Dr. Salem to anyone! He is the best and there is a reason CCRM is the gold standard in the Bay Area.
I highly recommend CCRM San Francisco to anyone looking for fertility treatment. Both Dr. Jun and Dr. Tazuke are amazing physicians and the nursing team, embryologists, laboratory and surgery center is absolutely the best around. I decided to go with CCRM after my sister went to CCRM in Denver and had a successful pregnancy. Since we live in the Bay Area, I thought it made the most sense to try our local CCRM in Menlo park. I am so glad I did! I was not an easy case and had several bumps along the way, but now I am finally pregnant thanks to the amazing staff at CCRM. Dr. Tazuke was my main doctor and she is out of this world fantastic. She recommended highly specific treatments and tests for me and Im so glad she did! In addition to having extremely high pregnancy success rates at CCRM, the doctors and care team are so compassionate that you really feel like part of the family there. I think CCRM should really stand for Care. Compassion. Real. Magic. You will be so happy you went with CCRM SF. I would tell everyone I know who needs fertility treatment to go there first! You will not be disappointed. You feel supported, cared for and encouraged through the entire process.
I havent been able to login into the salve app for weeks I called them more than 6 times throughout the couple weeks letting them know about the situation but nothing has been resolved I also had a really bad experience with this clinic as a surrogate I would not want to go with ccrm ever again as a surrogate
Such an amazing experience from beginning to end with everyone at CCRM! I was super nervous going into it, the entire staff from the front office to nurses to the doctors all put me at ease. (Shout out to Dr. Salem and Pailin!) Always appreciated how friendly they all were and always made sure to answer all of my questions. They were all so on top of everything since the entire experience of egg freezing & all of the steps associated with it, can be very overwhelming. Would recommend them to anyone!
Dr Jun was fantastic, she made sure that my husband and I always understood and felt apart of the process. She always listened to my concerns and would make sure that we chose the right path/ process for us. The nurses and front office staff were extremely nice and I will never forget how compassionate they were during my procedures. Some nurses would always greet me with a hug, and if you know anything about the IVF journey, that compassion can go a long way.Dr. Jun suggested tests that identified issues that were not previously identified, which is a testament to her expertise in fertility. She was supportive throughout the process and we are so lucky to have her and the State of the Art Lab. I did all tests there which was quite nice (no need to go to different places). They accommodated morning appointments, which was important for my work schedule.I also cant say enough good things about the in-house surgery center for my egg retrievals, they treated me always like I was the only patient and never rushed me, they were extremely patient and accommodating throughout the process!CCRM has given me a gift that I am so thankful for and I owe that to the entire staff, for working holidays & weekends, and being so hard working!
I was trying to get pregnant for 5 years and only CCRM could help us!!! The best place for IVF!!! I got pregnant with the first embryo transfer!!! MD Salli Tazuke the best fertility doctor ever! We are waiting 1 year for our son and coming back to CCRM for a baby girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dr. Tazuke showed compassion and had great bedside manner. She is so knowledgeable and always explained the science behind the treatments. She made me feel like she was on my team! CCRM is a pristine clinic and the staff is so responsive. CCRM San Francisco is so clean. They have accommodating hours for all types of careers and work 364 days a year! They work on your schedule. The staff is so friendly and by the end of the treatments, I felt like we were friends. I have already recommended other friends to this clinic. Proygyn & Alto Pharmacy were fantastic as well.
I can FINALLY write this review because I have officially graduated from CCRM. When I came to CCRM it was right after a very traumatic IVF experience with my local clinic. Basically, I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility and the previous doctor never caught a very low LH surge and we ended up with zero normal embryos. My heart was literally broken when I began my journey at CCRM. Dr. Jun immediately took charge of our case, she ordered extensive testing and referred me out to an excision laparoscopic surgeon (Dr. Camran Nezhat, he is incredible also). My previous doctor wouldnt even discuss referring me out, he didnt think it would make a difference in my treatment. In the initial testing we found out that I had several issues, including genetically high cholesterol. This find alone may have saved my life. The excision surgeon found stage 3 endometriosis, fibroids, a cyst and a small septum. In so many ways I was validated and FINALLY had some answers. We decided to give it some time, hoping to get pregnant naturally. After about a year we decided we were ready to pursue IVF with Dr. Jun at CCRM. Every single visit was structured and fast. The staffs attention to detail is absolutely next level, they do not miss ANYTHING. I received regular blood work during my stimulation cycle and had meds adjusted accordingly. On the day of my egg retrieval I had Dr. Tazuke, she came into the room and talked with me and even hugged me when I cried and told her I was so nervous. She was so kind to me and we had literally never met prior to that day.We ended up with FOUR healthy embryos. 100% of our embryos ended up being healthy. In addition to that, I am now almost 9 weeks pregnant from our first transfer. My nurse Ellie has held my hand throughout this entire process and has been emotionally supportive and has never dropped the ball, not even one time. Communication with the office was always excellent.I cannot say thank you enough. You guys have changed my life and helped give me the gift of motherhood. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
We received care at CCRM from 2020-2021 and had Dr. Tazuke as our provider. We had great success and just welcomed our baby boy 12/31/21. However, I am not writing this review based on the outcome of our birth as everyone’s health condition and outcomes will be different.I rate CCRM 4.5 stars based on their overall services. The portal made it easy to communicate with my team. The facility is beautiful. I love all procedures, labs, ultrasounds, etc are done in one location. The office staff overall were very nice and those I worked with more closely were amazing! There was an occasional circumstance when I felt more sensitivity could have been delivered when helping me troubleshoot the inevitable scenario of plans changing unexpectedly, needing more meds urgently, etc (all things you can expect from the process). But overall my team was receptive to feedback and we could all get on the same page. One thing to remember is this is an extremely emotional and personal process and sometimes you may not get the communication you expect, I recommend you simply ask for what you need. As an OBGYN I have some familiarity with the practice and have to say CCRM is very current on evidence based practice which I appreciate as a physician myself. You don’t want your medical provider to practice cookie cut medicine and I felt Dr. T was creating a plan for our health needs while keeping it to a standard targeted at good results. One thing I also learned was you really have no way to predict with certainty how your body will respond to the stimulation so prepare yourself you may be recommended to do multiple cycles if doing IVF. Thank you CCRM for your care. Would (and have already) recommend CCRM SF to friends and patients.
I came to CCRM from a failed cycle somewhere else in bay area.Dr Tazuke is professional and thoughtful. She reviewed all my medical records carefully and came up with a new protocol, which worked like a magic! We were over the moon when receiving the final result. During my procedure my nurse Elana also helps a lot, answering all my questions and follow up close with each step.I would recommend CCRM and Dr Tazuke to anyone who is looking for help for infertility.
I knew nothing about where to start or where to go when in search of a new reproductive clinic, until I was referred to CCRM by my acupuncturist. Easily one of the best decisions for our ivf journey. The front desk staff, the US techs, the OR team, all the nurses and just everybody in general at the clinic have been so kind, especially my nurse, Shanna. She is amazing and have truly been one of the best support persons during this difficult process. I would recommend CCRM SF to anyone looking for further reproductive health in hopes of starting a family. You will be in great hands!
Dr. Tazuke, our nurse Rachel Z., and the whole nurse team are extraordinarily supportive and professional. After a journey in CCRM packed with hope and persistence, we are now expecting our lovely baby. We saw a higher standard in many procedures, a series of more scientific and personalized decisions, and more responsive communication throughout our visits.Based on our past cycles, Dr. Tazuke can always suggest customized plans, adjust specific treatments and the specialized surgeries that we can do to increase our chances. Instead of following a standard protocol, we had a treatment schedule that fits our situation the best. The whole process built our confidence in getting the optimized result.Walking into CCRM feels like going home. Among all, we would like to give special thanks to Rachel. No matter it is an overwhelming concern during the weekend, a tiny note on the instruction, or it is a struggling follow-up with the insurance company, Rachel is always there to help us at any time.I wish every family that has similar struggles as us to be successful on your journey.
I had been seeing Dr.Tazuke since Apri,2019. Currently I am 5 month pregnant. Due to my body condition, it’s hard for me to get lots of eggs from each retrieval. So total I had three egg retrieval and I got two frozen embryo, luckily, one of it grows successfully. I really appreciate the whole CCRM team. I definitely recommend seeing Dr. Tazuke.About Dr. Tazuke:Dr. Tazuke has always been very patient to answer all my questions. Either when I met her face to face or replying online messages. She always gives me more information than I expected.During the exam or any procedure, she will try her best to describe what is she doing and what I will possibly feel. This really helped me relax and knew what exactly was going on. She was so nice and encourage you every time you have a procedure or an exam.Dr. Tazuke also adjusted to different protocol depending on my condition, I felt grateful that she always listen to my thought and try to give me a better or a more comfortable suggestion.About the care team:My main nurse was Angela, she was so organized and attentive. For every procedure I had, she always helped me memorizing every steps and make sure I won’t miss any key point. She is very responsive and patience. I felt grateful that she was my cooperator. The technicians were also profession and polite.About the clinic and the front desk:The clinic is very clean and gives patience a relax environment. While I had vaginal ultrasound, they also warm the gel so you don’t feel cold while doing the exam (Many other facility didn’t warm the gel). The front desk was also friendly and helpful.About the financial team and patient portal : (Things can be improved)Sometimes the financial team didn’t communicate well with your insurance company, so you might need to double check with you insurance and see what’s covered and what’s not covered. For the online patient portal, the time out duration has always been an issue for me. Since the first system I used in 2019, and they changed a new system in 2020. Both system time out too fast. So every time if I log-in to the message portal, I need sometime to write the messages, while I hit send out, it always said I am no longer log-in. So all my message was not saved, I need to write it again. It also happened to the first time I filled out the registration and patient history, which it needed lot of time to fill out. It time out too fast and it just didn’t save, so I wasted my whole hour. I talked to the patient portal help team about the time out issue but they never improve this. Even though it might be a small issue versus IVF procedure itself. However, I did see some review that mentioned about this, and they gave up to proceed to the next step because of this system. It times out too fast and waste their effort filling out the registration and history. It’s the first impression for CCRM. So if CCRM can improve the patient portal, I guess it can help to keep many first time user continue to the next step. So they can really continue working with Dr. Tazuke who is a wonderful doctor.
Dr. Jun is great, and the medical assistant in the portal is great. Front staff is a bit rude, especially one of the ladies. However, my biggest issue is that I have not been at CCRM in more than half a year, yet, I am STILL getting bills (dated in 2022) for services made in June 2021. It is incredibly frustrating, as the bills already require financial planning.
This is not a good place for patients to give their time, resources and energy. Go and see someone else and do yourself a big favor. CCRM San Francisco does not follow any privacy laws. They book patients en-mass to make money and do not care about you. If you want everyone to know you are having a test tube baby, then go here!
My husband and I have just graduated from CCRM after 8 weeks of pregnancy. We really appreciate all the thoughtfulness, patience and expertise from all CCRM staff, especially Dr. Tazuke and our nurses Rachel and Elana. We have almost lost our hope after 3 miscarriages until seeing Dr. Tazuke. She and the CCRM team were able to discover the genetic issue of my husband and made a very thoughtful plan to help us produce a good amount of healthy embryos and a smooth successful FET transfer. Theoretically, our genetic issue will cause about 90% abnormal embryos, fortunately with Dr. Tazuke and the amazing CCRM lab, we have got several healthy embryos just from one stimulation cycle!Dr. Tazuke is very good at listening to our concerns and always provides us with detailed information to help us to understand all the possibilities and things to watch out. She always makes very thoughtful plan that prioritize mitigating risks. This gives us big confidence when making progress during our IVF and we know she is always someone who we can rely on.We can’t thank CCRM enough for all that they have done for me and my family. They brought the light to our lives and gave us hope to have a chance to be parents in the near future. Thank you all! 🙏🏻
This review is long overdue. I cant say enough good things about CCRM SF, Dr. Jun, Toshi, and the rest of the folks in their office. My wife and I did one IVF cycle at another well-regarded Bay Area clinic and had a disappointing experience. Although the decision to switch to a new clinic was nerve-wracking, we are so incredibly glad we went with CCRM. The contrast between our first clinic and CCRM was like night and day.We experienced very little wait time at each of our appointments. The front office and clinic staff were kind, considerate, and friendly. Our nurse coordinator, Toshi, was impeccably organized and helped keep us sane throughout the process. Last but certainly not least, Dr. Jun was just wonderful. Shes a truly amazing doctor - compassionate, empathetic, thoughtful, intelligent, and kind. My wife and I are both in medicine and we often remarked that shes the kind of doctor who medical students or other physicians should aspire to be.Anyone whos considering going through IVF, or is in the midst of it, knows what a difficult journey it is. CCRM helped make this challenging experience as bearable as it could be. Our stress level was significantly reduced compared to our experience at the other clinic.Lastly, from a clinical standpoint, I feel like CCRM is just a step above the other clinics we evaluated. Despite having an infertility diagnosis which is particularly challenging to treat, our first IVF cycle at CCRM resulted in five times as many high-quality eggs compared to the cycle at our original clinic. Theres no guarantee of success - IVF is part science, part art, and part luck - and maybe we just got lucky, but I think that CCRMs lifestyle and supplement recommendations, rigorous laboratory processes, and stimulation protocols were huge contributors to our successful cycle. Our good fortune continued with a successful transfer on our first try. Our son was born happy and healthy four months ago. It still feels surreal, given how anxious, stressed and pessimistic we felt when we first walked into CCRM, but they helped make our IVF experience manageable, understandable, compassionate, and ultimately successful. Im incredibly grateful to the staff at CCRM, Toshi, Dr. Tazuke and Dr. Jun, and I cant recommend them strongly enough.
At the beginning, I chose CCRM was simply because of Dr. Jun. I met Dr. Jun 8 years ago when I started pursuing the fertility treatments from another clinic, and she was not the doctor in charge of my protocols. But I was very impressed by her professionalism and at that time. 3 years ago, I turned to Dr. Jun at CCRM right after my service contract expired at the second infertility clinic.I have seen so many fertility specialists and gone thru countless tests. Look no further, Dr. Jun is the best. Each cycle, she did not only demonstrate her skills but also gave her time and compassion to her patients. As you know each cycle is unique, Dr. Jun and her team worked around the clock and followed up my questions and concerns right away. When I pick up an IVF clinic, I was more concerned about doctor’s qualification and experiences rather than clinic’s statistic data. Luckily, this time is Dr. Jun AND at CCRM! CCRM’s cutting edge technology and skilled embryology team saved us one more embryo, a last day 7 blastocyst (not all of IVF clinics will culture the embryo after day 6). Finally, a long-waited healthy baby was born in Oct. 2021, and our lives have changed forever.I highly recommend working with Dr. Jun and her staff at CCRM.
This review is for the front office and the management, not the dr. In fact Dr Tasuki was very informative and answered all my questions in the consultation appointment. I had many other questions regarding the logistics and finance and I had no one help me. It is extremely difficult to get through to talk to someone when needed, they return the call, if any, sometimes days later. Simple things like sending medical files over is so hard with them because the software is not user friendly. There is no direct line to call the nurse or the treatment coordinator. You have to call through the main line, and the operator puts me on hold until it goes to voicemail. It is extremely frustrating and makes me not choose them to do my fertility treatment.
I went to them after a failed egg retrieval at another clinic. Dr. Lin is so caring and gentle. Though I’d have to say everyone I’ve met has been incredibly helpful and nice. I understand at my age nothing is guaranteed, but if it doesn’t work out at least I know that I’ve been treated with respect and care.
We had a very bad experience with them. They did not send some results on time unless we emailed and asked for them. They seemed too busy and had little time to pay careful attention to us. Billing was another issue; they took our insurance info and proceeded with the tests. When the tests came out, they told us that our plan was not in network and now we had to pay out of pocket. We were stressed out EVERY TIME we went there, whether it was about insurance, late results, wrong appt details, etc. Basic stuff was mishandled and could have been easily done or improved. In general, we had a negative experience and moved to another center.Update:After consulting with two other doctors, we came to know that the treatment/ help we were receiving at CCRM was inaccurate or not enough. A lot more should have been done, which was very easy to do, but they did not. The doctor asks for a ton of blood work but does not follow on them. Its as if they want to defer you to other doctors, while charging you a fortune. With all due respect, think twice before coming here.
Rose who was from the finance department very specifically told me there would no out of pocket charges for me and that my insurance would cover all of my tests. She confirmed this with me twice and assured me that there would be no surprise charges. I am suddenly given this huge bill that I have to pay out of pocket. Do not go to them.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. CCRM San Francisco is great. Dr. Tazuke, the nurses, ultrasound techs, embryologists, and surgery center are fantastic! Everyone is so compassionate and helpful. Dr. Tazuke and my nurse Sam always made me feel at ease. Dr. Tazuke has great bedside manner, always went through things clearly, is kind, very knowledgeable, and realistic. I also appreciate how easy it was to schedule appointments and get a hold of someone if needed.Updating my review: thank you again to Dr. Tazuke and the CCRM team for helping us have a beautiful, healthy baby. Cannot recommend CCRM and Dr. Tazuke more!
I just did a cycle of egg freezing. Although result is not optimistic, it’s due to my age. I felt Dr. Tazuke is such a good doctor and care about my conditions. The surgery is very successful without any pain or bleeding afterwards. All the staff there are very nice and patient. The environment is also very clean and makes you relax. I will continue with Dr. Tazuke and try another cycle very soon. Hopefully I got some luck.
Dr. Tazuke and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. She helped us through our IVF journey with such professionalism and expertise. The communication was always very prompt. The nurses work around the clock for you when you are on a cycle. We had our baby on the first attempt and are planning on coming back for baby #2.
I cant recommend Dr.Tasuki enough. She was highly recommended when she was at Pamf and her expertise combined with CCRM protocol is the best in our area. I previously worked with Stanford Fertility from age 40-43 and was unsuccessful. We got pregnant at 43 with one cycle at CCRM. Our care at CCRM was night and day compared with Stanford Fertility where I felt I was put through a generic process and really wasted our money. If you want a place that maximizes your chances by checking every little thing and is super conservative with your self care (vitamin cocktails, acupuncture, constant blood tests, lining biopsy, transfer protocol, etc) , I would highly recommend CCRM. Their protocols are just different and make a difference.
Dr. Lin is professional, patient and nice! She provide detailed processes and information on the upcoming processes.
I did a baseline fertility testing package at this center. They collected all my information, including DOB and credit card as it was all prepaid followed by consultation where I learned, they have an age cap on IVF, the doctor said they find it unethical to perform IVF on females above a certain age regardless of the fertility testing results. This is fine they are entitled to impose an age cap for the offered treatments. However, they should state this age limit before collecting money and starting the process. I find it very unethical of them to be so quick to take your money , have you go through the baseline testing, and then tell you oh sorry, we have an age limit and that is end of it.
Dr. Tazuke is an extraordinary doctor! She is empathetic, hardworking, thorough, and most importantly extremely skilled at her job. After finding out my husband had severe male factor infertility (0% morphology and 0% motility), she quickly pointed us to an experienced urologist to provide testing we needed to continue with treatment. Her staff are also so friendly and helpful, they really made this process seem like they were treating patients instead of numbers. With a world class lab and embryologist (mike!), we ended up with 6 high graded PGS embryos, one of which im currently 23 weeks pregnant with. I’ve read so many other women’s stories of poor case management/medicine, bad communication, multiple doctors in and out of procedures, and being treated as just a number. CCRM San Francisco and Dr. Tazuke could not be more different! Please don’t waste time and money elsewhere, do yourself a favor and check out this state of the art facility and amazing doctor!
Their working style is completely unprofessional.1.The nurses keep saying different things . They keep re-assigning different nurses.. New trainees are employed who are highly confused and not experienced with such IVF issues.2. Doctors are always busy, they neither meet after the initial consult (paperwork) nor respond via phone or email directly. Your ever-changing nurses respond delayed.3. Taking an appointment is a big pain. Phone call keeps going to the Central customer care and they say your local Nurse will call you for an appointment. Nurse does not respond in time. Sometimes they call 2,3 days later, saying we are busy.4. Even while undergoing treatment they are not concerned. The ultrasound tech.is very poorly trained. One of them was not able to see any eggs during stimulation phase mid time. Hello !!! cant you see the ovary overloaded with eggs during the stimulation !!! [Previous day some other ultrasound technician was able to see all growing eggs. ]5. The prescriptions were messed up while sending to different pharmacies. They even delayed sending the prescription to be sent on time . FYI for IVF, patients need to have medicines ready in time because you cant terminate or pause the cycle in-between. We wasted many months due to this issue.6. We went there seeing fake YELP reviews and are highly disappointed in the end. Yes you read that right, fake reviews . Because I looked at other renowned ivf doctors reviews [ from other states ] and they are in more detail as to why patients like that doctor. Telling how the clinic helped at each step of treatment like from consultation, to emails, to prescription, to fertilization , to the final result (pregnancy)7. The worst part !!One thing to note is they keep pushing for uterus/ovarian surgery etc and convince for more ivf cycles if they feel you have more money and are desperate to have a child. I would like to have such a doctor who encourages in the first cycle itself and is hopeful for a healthy pregnancy. Boosts the morale . Instead of saying, More cycles have better chances of pregnancy. Why dont we try next cycle with this alternate medication protocol, different surgery etc.Bottom-line: It feels like a childs play going at the CCRM menlo park center. Totally Chaotic, confusing and negligent !
I highly recommend Dr. Jun and Dr. Tazuke! They are both very skilled and caring practitioners. The fertility assessment and testing recommended by CCRM is above and beyond what other IVF clinics offer. Their embryologists and lab are very reputable as well. The clinic environment is beautiful and relaxing. If your are considering IVF, or other fertility treatments, I recommend you consult with CCRM to learn about how their clinic protocols differ from other fertility clinics.
Almost impossible getting bill details for insurance. Call multiple times, never get a call back, perpetually on hold, hung up on just now by receptionist. Really pathetic and disappointing.
DR.Tazuki is the best. She caught my ecptoic pregnancy(naturally concieved) in week 4 and helped us through the process of getting it resolved. She was very attentive to the details and made right judgments at the right time.I have read about cases where this has gone unnoticed and the women has to lose her tube. I feel so lucky to have been with the right doctor at the right time.
The coordination system is a nightmare. The phone never get answered. The new patient liaison lead is mean, unhelpful and impatient. They randomly delete your patient portal. It’s an entirely rude and uncaring place.
An amazing staff all around from the nurse team, Drs, and embryologist. They were all beyond caring and always available for questions. They accommodated our situation better than we could have hoped for.
These guys are so disorganized I can’t in good faith recommend them. Even after 4 attempts to give them the correct insurance they failed to do anything and sent my bill to a debt collector instead of just contacting me.
We went here for just a consultation. The nurses were kind and very responsive. Everything else was sub par. They charged us thousands of dollars without billing our insurance company first, and didn’t issue a refund even after insurance paid the bills.
Always had a good experience with them!
Clinic is great. Unfortunately, their billing departments has severe issues. It is April 2022 and I am receiving bills from August 2021.
My husband and I got a smooth experience with CCRM ivf treatment. The doctor and nurses are all nice and professional.
We spent over 3h on surveys, authorizations and uploading all medical records. It had no impact on quality of the discussion with the doctor.Update: please don’t use the fact I am being polite to wash your lack of care for the patient.
Called CCRM this morning around 10:20am. I was asking questions and suddenly hung up by a female agent. I didn’t ask too much just Insuramce questions. When I called back again, nobody answered. This is very bad.
Had a good experience with them staff is remarkable ..friendly and easy to access for any sort of information ..
