The receptionist is just rude and condescending! I watch her treat patients rudely. She closed the window in a gentlemans face. When I inquired about if they had an order for me, she said I had to wait for them to call me back. I explained Id already waited 45 minutes. I will be telling my doctors to send me any place but Sonoran labs. I will also be telling family and friends to stay away also.
Sonora Quest has very nice people working generally. This location is the only one open on Saturday in the east valley. The last couple of times I have been here it was about a 2.5 hour wait, this time it was awesome total time maybe 1/2 hour. The place was clean. The only thing that makes blood draws better is having an appointment, make sure you do it a couple weeks in advance.
Rude, rude, rude. From the front desk to the phlebotomist, my 82 year old mother was treated so poorly today. She had an issue with the automated check-in system and asked a simple question. Rude dude wandering through the lobby literally yelled, YOU PEOPLE DONT READ THE WHOLE SCREEN! There was no one to ask for help, by the way. There is a sign saying, Do NOT disturb receptionist.Phlebotomist couldnt answer an innocent question without sniping about how she had no idea what my mom was talking about.Seriously, people go in there not feeling well, and dont need to be treated like they are idiots.Next time she will choose labcorp, where they seem much more compassionate and professional.
I had an appointment at this facility today. Lady at front desk could not find order even though I let her know that I called ahead and confirmed it was here. She gave me a number to call for customer care and told me I could call them but other than that, I would have to have the order refaxed by my doctor. I called the customer care number first. They found the order and let me know where. If the woman at the front just would’ve done her job and taken a little extra time, I wouldn’t have had to take extra time out of my day to make call and wait an extra thirty minutes past my appointment time. Never coming back here. I heard her arguing with another woman about the same thing while I was waiting.
I had a great experience at this Sonora Quest. I have a phobia of needles and am always anxious to get my blood drawn. I went in for routine lab work and got really nervous when I was in the chair. The phlebotomist, I believe his name was Jason, was patient, gentle and kind. He explained everything to me and didnt make me feel bad for being nervous. It was one of the easiest blood draws Ive had - quick, painless, and most importantly an understanding technician.I walked in on a Friday afternoon without an appointment and was seen in 20 minutes. The women at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. I plan to return to this Sonora Quest in the future.
Please do NOT take your babies here for a newborn screening. Terrible experience with the lady who did my daughters poke. No smile, no greeting from her & couldn’t answer my questions clearly. Clearly she was new & struggled with drawing my daughters blood. Had someone come in to tell us she didn’t do it properly so they drew blood from the other foot, all due from her LACK of knowledge. Seriously terrible, hope they hire people who know how to do their actual job next time. 👍
The Saturday morning lady at the front desk doesnt have an ounce of humanity. Completely disregarded us during sign in and made us wait, not for check in, but for our actual chance to get the work done before even acknowleding us. When it was our turn to go in (not wait..), said our provider had the wrong form but would not explain why or what the right one looked like. Why did she make us wait 1hr to even look at us? My pregnant wife was asked to fast an extensive amount of time to get this done only for this lady to say no, I dont know what you need but were not doing anything for you today. I tried asking for the correct form name, but she said I already told you no.
I showed up at 6:50am for the Saturday walkin only. There were about 50 people already in line. Based on my previous experience when I had an appt and the wait time was long, I thought for sure this would take all day. But I was wrong! The staff worked quickly and had a strong system in place. You checked in at thr kiosk, they called your name to the window and you gave them your order, insurance, and then shortly after you were called. They were calling people so fast that by the time I got to the checkin there were still available chairs in the waiting room. It took an hour total from opening to walking out, which, with over 50 people in front of me, is not bad. I could tell the staff was doing their best to keep the wait time down as much as they could.Probably about 730, there was no longer a line to get in and people were just trickling in. So either get their really early or come a little after 8.
I just had a stroke, I was just in the ER. I didnt want to be admitted because the hospital beds are so uncomfortable, so I opted to go home and do my tests outside of the hospital and to follow up with a Neurologist outside of the hospital, because surely, people would see stroke patient, and it would light a fire under them... apparently not. Came in, lab orders even say Stat on them but the front desk girl told me that they werent Stat requests.. so she changed to normal. I showed her that I just had a TIA... she did not ficking care. The fact that I have to go through MORE stress as a stroke patient because of HER is not ok!! Learn from my mistake. Apparently only the hospital cares about getting lab tests done quickly... and of course I went on a Saturday so my doctor isnt in to tell this idiot they are Stat orders.
SATURDAY - Make sure you go early. Got there at 6:53am and there was a line at the door 50 people long. Finally seen by 8:50am. The staff in very nice and building is clean. If you go on a Saturday, make to have a few free hours of time
I did not have an appointment and felt like as a walk-in patient the time wait was extremely reasonable. Juan, the phlebotomist who was assigned to me, was extremely nice and professional. The office staff was friendly as well.
This location is severely understaffed.Make sure your phones are charged or bring a book because you’re gonna be waiting AWHILE.I went to a previous location and was seen almost immediately but they did not offer the test I needed and sent me to Brown & Recker location. So many people fasting that are being delayed with their appointment. I overheard patients saying they have been waiting since 8am or 10am and it’s 12:30pm now they are still waiting. They even had apportionments were not walk ins. Many people have walked out angry, hungry and frustrated saying they will reschedule their appointments . This location only has appointments a week out which isn’t convenient. The staff is nice but they are not efficient as this entire waiting room is full, people have to stand for an hour or more to be seen and a lot of them are elderly folks.Since this location offers the specialized services you think with the volume of patients they would be staffed accordingly. Upon walking in they are advising an hour and 30min wait time. But it’s really more like 2-3hours.Do better Sanora Quest.
This was our second lab we had to visit in the same day due to difficulty getting my toddlers blood drawn (tiny veins). The front office was super accommodating and genuinely helpful. Tim the phlebotomist got it done!! I asked for him specifically after a recommendation from a sweet lady in the waiting room. He has done pediatric phlebotomy at an NICU before. So wonderful!!
One of a very few number of facilities open more than 8hr every morning, including a weekend day. Due to this fact about Sonora Quest Very Very busy, be prepared to stand in the sun for quite a while when they open, long line out the singular door in and out. Id say call the Fire Marshall, but then you would have no where to get your blood work, so suffer.
Only 4 cause last week didn’t go so well, but the phlebotomist I got today was 11/10. No bruise and barely left a mark. Even held the door open for me on the way out. Dawson, you’re perfect, never change!P.S. if you’re reading this, I really do love my job, just wouldn’t recommend it to someone who isn’t 100% committed
Very unprofessional. Sign in kiosk didnt work and wasnt signing patients in correctly. Sat there for an hour before realizing it and still no one bothered to put an out of order sign on it. Will not be going back to this location
Went down about a week ago for some blood labs, and I had been fasting and drinking lots of water all morning. First thing I noticed was a half attentive staff at the desk. There was an elderly woman who needed help signing into the kiosk and the staff ignored her completely, so when she asked me for help I was happy to oblige but was disgusted with the staff. The excessive waiting room time despite having an appointment was ridiculous. Then for another 20 minutes I have people poking me all over and stabbing me multiple times to get NOTHING. The part that absolutely infuriates me is that these people had the gall, the absolute nerve to say I left for no reason. I left because I lost an hour of my life to get stabbed multiple times for nothing. That is not no reason and I find it incredibly insulting that they treat it as such. Maybe this place should get a new staff that isnt so numb that they dehumanize the people that come in.
I always make an appointment before I go for my labs. When I go in, I give my info to the people working up front, and Im usually in and out in about 15-20 minutes. Im a really hard stick, and the techs are always pleasant and do their best to get blood from me, and they always do. I appreciate them asking me where they usually get blood from me and they check there first. It works out well for all of us. If youre going to this Sonora Quest Lab, I highly recommend you make an appointment online first. Your visit will go smoother and quicker. I highly recommend this facility for getting lab work done!
I been going to this location for several years. Ive never had a bad experience. The people in the office, as well as those who do the blood draw, have been so friendly and professional. I often come with no appointment and never had a very long wait. I like that they have the option of waiting in your car for them to text you.
I read the reviews before going in so I made an appointment. I expected a pretty intense wait and was pleased to have only waited maybe 20 mins when the room already had 15 + people. The women at the front were all really kind and the woman who drew my blood was really delicate and sweet. This is a walk in location aswell so I would imagine having over a 2 hour wait if I didnt make an appointment.
I went on a Saturday morning and arrived a few minutes prior to opening. There was a line already formed of probably 35-40 folks in front of me. I figured I would have at the very least a couple of hours wait. Upon opening the doors I was surprised at how quickly the line moved. Once in, I saw they had folks standing by the little computer check in machines to assist people with their check-in. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have been to many other Sonora Quest Labs and have never seen such an organized bunch in my life. They started calling folks and it was the quickest in and out turnaround Ive ever witnessed. Finally it was my turn and the girl who drew my blood sample was very nice, telling me funny stories while taking the sample. I was done and out of there in approximately 50 minutes. I was amazed, Ive waited longer at other labs with only 10 people ahead of me. Kudos to the management and staff.
I have a 1 stars because the lady’s in the front office are SOOOOO completely RUDE to the old elderly people…..I’m 36 years old and they were completely fine with me… but their are lots of elderly people in here with appointments and questions they treat them so unkind and it’s soooo sad…Their is as an old lady here and she has an accent and she’s saying that she doesn’t know how to use the sign in machines. The office girl is like “okay well you need to try” (very rudely)Then the lady is trying and she goes “I don’t know… I don’t know how”The office lady with an attitude comes around and goes “You click back and follow the prompt…. First and last name and date of birth, it’s easy peasy, NOT hard”The lady still can’t do it, she tells the office girl and the office girl goes“Okay just sit down.” (With an attitude)The lady sits down for a couple minutes then gets up again and goes “I do have an appointment at 6:30”The office girl “okay sit down, we will get to you when we get to you”With so much attitude, it’s really really sad. This is not the first time I’ve seen this and I’ve been coming here for almost 6 months now….The office lady’s need more patience and training on how to treat others!!!!One girl looks like a Mexican maybe with dark black long hair says she speaks little Spanish…The other girls is a Caucasian woman with bright Orange/ red hair and retro pink glasses!!Something needs to be done here!!!!!
Ive been to this location a couple of times with no issues. Of course its a walk-in location, so a wait time is expected. I went right when they opened at 6am and was in and out in 20 minutes. Other times Ive been in and out in an hour or less. Im grateful there is a SQ location that takes walk-ins! They move quickly and the phlebotomist did a great job!
I understand that using a walk in location poses some risk as far as wait time, but this was ridiculous. I arrived at the Brown Rd Mesa location at eight, was told that it would be AT LEAST an hour, and I agreed to wait for my text message. At 10:19, I finally received my text. After re-entering, I was told that everyone was being called back in because they close at 11 and they wanted to lock the door. They had 60 people waiting! So they crammed 60 people into the waiting room...during a pandemic. Totally irresponsible. I was finally seen at 11. All they had to do was be straight with me. If they told me it was going to be three hours I would have come back another time. On the up side, phleb Zachary was super friendly and skilled.
Knowing that the world is crazy right now I made my appointment but went in knowing there may be a delay. I did wait about 20 min after my appointment time but they were doing awesome getting people in and out. The ladies up front were great and Bruce that took my blood was amazing! Thank you for all you do, hopefully you get to hear this!
When I came here just earlier this week, there was about 5 walk in clients ahead of me at the door at 6am when they opened. I had an appointment at 6am and they had me sign in first and I was also taken back first. I really appreciated their quickness and honored appointment times. I was in and out within 8 minutes, literally. I work in medical office and heard horror stories of long wait times for getting labs drawn so I was definitely pleased with the service I received here. My phlebotomist was a very nice woman and good with a needle, as I am slightly terrified of needles lol.
This staff was combined with another location’s staff that had to close due to an emergency. I’m 7 months pregnant with a 3 year old and needed a one hour glucose. I figured I would be here all morning without an appt. (tried to get one but they were booked up 3 weeks out) Anyway, I was helped within one minute of checking in. They handed me my drink and then put my daughter and I in a private room to wait for an hour before my very kind phlebotomist who was quick and efficient took my blood. That’s awesome since they were probably overwhelmed with all the extra patients. It’s a larger facility and definitely recommend going here. Also, they give you the option to receive text messages of you’d prefer to wait in your car! I chose that option and I didn’t even walk out of the bldg before I got my message that they were ready for me.
I went here for the first time to get labs. It was the busiest I have ever seen a lab. They offer a service that allows you to wait outside in an effort to allow for physical distancing, but it doesnt seem to work to well because I was texted that they were ready for me, but instead, I went inside to wait another 15 minutes in a high traffic area before they took me to the back. Also, they missed two of my labs on the doctors lab slip. I called them and wrote customer service and they seemed pretty dismissive that the lab slip was not fulfilled as the doctor order it. Word of advice -- verbally communicate with the technician to ensure they are drawing everything that your lab slip says.
I walked in without an appointment and was in and out within 20 mins. The front desk employees were very nice and friendly. I was going to another location for a long time but the employees always looked annoyed and even when you made an appointment you still had to wait a long time. Yesica was the technician and I have to say I have never had a more painless and efficient blood draw ever. She has only been doing this for 3 months!!
Expect a long wait if you do not have a appointment. Update: Went for non fast lab draw at 2p. 30 min wait.Another lab draw tomorrow at 6a. Will see how long of a wait. Again both labs with no appointments
Doesn’t help that one location closed and the other wasn’t open but they are unstaffed. I asked the waiting time was told an hr. I checked in on the kiosk took the text message option came back 1 1/2 later was told I wasn’t even checked in. You can tell the employees are over worked with patients because they are very short and rude to the patients.
I have an order for bloodwork to be done and Im not looking forward to it. I have sworn to never darken the doorway of LabCorp because of how incredibly rude the people are there ( I was even treated rudely before I even went inside. I asked the driver if the van marked LabCorp where the office was and he said he didnt know!Unfortunately, now Sonora Quest seems to have the same attitude!! Horrible!! Im going to try the Brown Road location because theyve always been bam little better than the one in 63rd where they may as well have called me stupid. They actually had the nerve to say that I didnt know how to enter my birth date on the screen. So, they did come right out and say that it was my fault that I sat there for half an hour and they didnt have me in the system? Unfortunately, the 2 companies ganged up and ran decent competition out if business. Now, other than LabCorp they are the only game in town. AND THEY ACT LIKE IT!I understand that the last person may have been rude to them. But, nobody goes in there just for fun? People are sick or theyre scared and a smile goes a long way. And, might even help make their day as well?I will report back on upcoming visit. 🙏January 8, update: I made an appointment at the Brown Road location for 1:15 pm. I had just gotten a new phone so my calendar was off so I was about 15 minutes past the grace window. So they treated me as a walk-in. I only waited 10 minutes at the max. The tech was personable and professional. I am what they call a hard stick and bruise badly. Not a problem.I believe that my different experience was partially due to the fact that the holiday was over? But, that it was mostly because the 63rd street location has major issues? I felt a follow up review was called for because of the extreme difference.
Stopped in here today after going to another Sonora Quest that had about 20 people waiting. Came in, only 1 person waiting, signed in, spoke to one of the front desk people, he was friendly and got me seen in minutes, literally. From the time I parked till the time I left couldnt have been more than 10 minutes. Very good service, very quick, at least on this day.
Oct. 27, 2022 - MOSQUITO INFESTED. I prefer to leave good reviews, but I feel the need to warn my fellow warm-blooded humans. Within a minute of sitting down in the waiting room of SonoraQuest, I killed 2 mosquitoes. I saw probably 10+ more on the walls. People were complaining of seeing mosquitoes fly around & biting them. 😫 There were 2 babies & my own daughter - who is a mosquito-magnet - in the room. When I asked the ladies behind the counter if they were aware of the problem, they said yes ... 😶 ... & theyre working on it. 🤨 If you MUST go to this location, then I recommend getting an appointment beforehand (the wait time was 2 hours), & wear lots of bug spray. On the plus side, the phlebotomists are always super nice. Todays male phlebotomist was very kind & patient to my sweet, nervous girl.
I had a very bad experience today. After my medical I went for my blood draw. The door was half open. I knocked and peaked around the door. Nobody there so I walked into the room at the same time as the technician was entering from behind. With a face like thunder I was instructed to go and wait outside and that I should not have come in. I asked her how I was expected to know that. No sign on the door and the door was open. How else was I to announce myself.I protested that I did not like her attitude. The exchange escalated when she told me that I wouldnt allow my children to enter a room with a closed door. I was not backing down feeling like I am a customer not a child.I wanted to call someone to come and see what had happened but no joy.
This location sucks! I have two different health care insurance, the lady said they dont take my primary ins. so I gave them my second ins. and they asked for a credit card and charged me. Come to find out they should have billed my first ins. and then my second ins. would have picked up what ever the 1st inc didnt. This is the second time this happened to me. Will never go back to this location.
I read some of the reviews on this Laboratory and a couple of folks talked about a she that was impersonal, rude, etc. I did not find anyone there to be rude. In fact, I found that the she assigned to me was personable and friendly. She expertly inserted the needle, drew my blood and boom we were done. The office ran like a fine watch and did so even though there was quite the line at 6:00 in the a.m.; I was in and out like clockwork. Ill go again if I need my blood tested.
Visited for the purpose of blood being taken for medical lab testing for certain medical diseases required by my physician. Best to setup appointment on the internet instead of being a walk-in and having to set around waiting for available time. Lab locations are available all around the area.
Not a very welcome feeling at this location, will go elsewhere next time. Follow up to the request for more information on the visit: the tech who drew the blood was fine, but Gary at the front desk was rude and condescending and made us feel most unwelcome. We we also saw a blonde female employee, whose name we didn’t catch, treat an elderly lady poorly over a missing payment.
Tried to call to get answers to a couple of questions. Impossible to get a person and the voicemail box is always full. Voicemail boxes should be responded and cleared each day. It is as if they dont want any customer contact. If you try to call the corporate number, all you get is automated responses and cannot talk to a person. Horrible way to run a business. This location as far as going in and getting your blood drawn has been good. But trying to get help is horrible.
It seems to me that this place in particular is hit or miss when it comes to dealing with the staff or techs. I have (unfortunately) have had many repeat blood tests done due to my condition and maybe 1 out of 5 people at the front act like they care - one guy literally just sat at his desk chowing down on a gigantic sub - which the other people were cracking jokes about - and the waiting area was filling full of people. Not in any way professional. Then, Im waiting and waiting - seeing people who signed in after me get to go first - and I know it had nothing to do with them having walk-ins because I have been told several times that this site WILL NOT schedule times for Saturday - it is first come first serve. So when I asked what was going on - the guy who is now on the bag of chips - apparently wasnt done loading all my information in the system and that there were a couple tests requested that they were waiting for the Supervisor to get in because they didnt know what to do with it. I really wish the idiocy ended here, but nope. See - I have 3 insurances and 2 of them technically are both Primary (None are Advantage Plans) and even though EVERY TIME I go through with the front desk - or when they are doing the tests while I am in the hospital - THEY STILL MESS UP THE BILLING. My entire career has been in the Health Care Industry it is NEVER the patients responsibility to file APPEALS on behalf of a provider. Thats lazy. Nobody bothered to call me - I just got a ton of bills.I have read all the Management Responses below - quite frankly - thats embarrassing. If people are telling you the same thing over and over - yet your commitment to providing quality care isnt working which means that either you need new Management that actually KNOWS HOW TO LEAD and Employees that KNOW AND CARE ABOUT THEIR JOBS.
First of all I have to say you have to make an appointment. Then you get in timely. In the winter here it is crazy with snowbirds! Very crowded. You come in type your name in the little kiosk. They call you up take your insurance and doctors request. You sit about 5-10 minutes and they call you in for you appointment. People that just come in I see sitting there and it takes so much longer! They are fast and friendly! They always find a vein! I have big arm and that is hard sometimes!
Chris Needham reportingThe staff here are friendly and professional. Love having my lab work done at this Sonora location!
Made an appointment on line the day before for Saturday Nov 18 at 9:30 am. They called me up at 9:30 and got my insurance card info. Then I sat back down in the lobby that was very full. They called me back in about two to three minutes and the technician drew my blood and I walked out at 9:38 am. Very impressed with the efficiency. Highly tecommend.
I went here today after making an appointment online for a 3 hour glucose tolerance test, just to be turned away in a very condescending manner by employee Jason. Instead of explaining in a calm manner he talked down to me saying I had showed up too late and states I cant pay my people over time to stay here with you.... A request I did not make, and an unnecessary comment.I DO NOT recommend going to this location for services unless you want to be treated like dirt.
I will never come to this lab again. This lab is extremely unorganized, unprofessional, and disrespectful to my overall health and well-being. If you work in healthcare, the health of others should be a priority. I have gotten tested here 2 months ago for blood work that should have been completed and analyzed in a week. Now, if I would have gotten the results in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, I would have been completely fine, because I know labs are busy. However, after waiting for 2 weeks, Sonora Quest magically “lost” my results.. After doing blood work for a second time and waiting another couple weeks, I contacted the lab since I still did not get a call, and they “lost” my results AGAIN!! Now, I’ve had my blood drawn a third time. It has been two months since I went in the first time for bloodwork, and still NO RESULTS. I called again today before closing after getting off work, and they said they cannot give me my results because I called too close to closing. A waste of my time and money, and no care for my health. This is unprofessional, inappropriate, and the worst experience I’ve ever had with health care.
I completely understand the wait ..what us not acceptable is the nasty attitude by the front desk . After 1hr 40 minutes the kids name was on the biarde went from 2 .3.4 and dropped to 12.12 13 then completely deleted went up to the desk made the comment thst peooke are know being called after we originally checking in the last stated we called the name and text ..lol no ..never received a text and ir did they call neither if the kuds name. The fron desk us rude unorganized..management need yo train the front desk to be more organized in a jaitic atmosphere rudeness and being nasty yo thr customers is nit acceptable...
I have been at this lab several times. I realize the front desk is not always cheerful, but they are trying to do their best and are under a lot of pressure with patients that can sometimes be very demanding. The technicians have always been great with accurate and minimal pain. I prefer them over the other one.
My walk in visit this morning was quick, efficient and best blood draw without hardly feeling it! Aloria was kind and personable and very professional. Thank you! This will definitely be my go to place for lab work.
If anyone is familiar with the movie “Patch Adams” then they will realize that sadly, the health care field has not evolved much in patient care and appreciation in all this time. My phlebotomist treated me like a number. She was very rigid and not friendly at all. I understand that you have a job to do, but part of your job is to make patients feel welcome and appreciated. I’m not asking for goofy, or super bubbly even, but when someone asks you how you are doing, you respond with basic manners and maybe even take the time to engage the person. Not at Sonora Quest. And so it still stands I’m afraid, that I can count the amount of personable health care professionals with a genuine concern for patient comfort and rapport on one hand. Fortunately, the nurses and doctors, etc I have run into in my life somewhat make up for the overwhelming lack of people skills of the majority. Maybe someday part of medical training will involve patient appreciation. Not likely...
What an awesome experience at Sonora Quest in Mesa! Every single staff member I interacted with was SO friendly, they were quick and efficient, respectful, and helpful. My appointment was at 12:45, and I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Emily, my Phlebotomist, was super personable and actually cared about me as a person. I will definitely be returning to Sonora Quest whenever I need labs again!
Signed in today at 1pm (guy at the front desk was standing right there watching me). Sat down, waited 30 minutes. Finally checked the sign-in sheet, which had been replaced since I signed in. No one called on me or otherwise acknowledged my presence at all. Guess they didnt want the business. A medical facility that cannot manage a sign-in sheet certainly shouldnt be trusted with needles and test results. Ill take my business elsewhere.
Went to my Dr office(Village Medical) for a blood draw….They stuck me 5 times leaving bruises all over…and could not get any blood.Came to the Sonora Quest Lab off of Brown Road in Mesa…. Sally got my blood in one stick…..Thank you so much ,I highly recommend…
I had to get blood work done on Black Friday in order to get chemotherapy the following Monday. I had looked online and called Sonora lab quest, and nothing was noted about closures for Black Friday. I went to my normal Gilbert office and they had a sign up saying that there would be several offices open. When I went to this location on Brown, I found that the door was locked, although there was no sign stating that they would be closed for lunch or otherwise. I knocked on the door and someone came out stating that they closed at noon. I had gotten there at 12:02. The supervisor came out and said there was nothing that she could do despite the fact that it wasnt posted on their door or online and it was only two minutes after they had closed.I had to go all the way to Tempe to get my blood work done. I am horrified with how I was treated. I certainly wouldnt turn a cancer patient away for being two minutes late, especially given the fact that there was no indicator that they would be closing early.
I just made our appointments for Saturday the 14th back to back for myself and husband. Hopefully it goes smoothly this time. We have 8:30 am appointments and was told they would take us together. When I schedule our appointment just now.
Always have a good experience at this lab. They are very busy, but move people along efficiently. Professional and friendly staff.
Generally friendly and courteous staff. The only reason rated 2 stars and not one is because the staff is generally so. This is the only Sonora Quest open in the East valley that doesnt require appointments on Saturday. This leads to excessive wait times. Fricken ridiculous. It is no longer healthcare, but rather health dont care.Be here at 530 am if no appt.
If you show up before closing on Saturdays dont bother to come in. They are still open but they wont take a walk-in because they dont want to work longer than they have to. Let me know if they you check in so I can follow up the complaint with corporate. If your door is open then you should check in all customers. Otherwise lock your door geniuses. I use to like this location until today.
Awesome, friendly staff! I knew going into my 3hr glucose test that it wasn’t going to be pleasant but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They often came back to check on me and tried their best to make sure I was comfortable and doing well throughout my visit.
I had an appt. so the wait time was minimal. Very friendly. I have small veins and the first guy couldnt get in. One poke in each arm, done. So the second guy came in and got it the first time. Still a good experience.
This place is an absolute joke when it comes to wait times. Complete lack of organization. Plan on spending a minimum of two hours waiting if you dont have an appointment and even if you do they can skip over you randomly and keep you waiting for more than an hour. Staff is generally polite but not very helpful.
Told us to wait in the car and we would be called. They let in 20+ people until we asked and they never saw us or wrote down our number when they wrote it down in front of us and we should have waited outside to hear our names when we were told wed receive a phone call. We waited an hour and a half to get a 5 minute blood draw. This is an unorganized mess. At least this location practices some form of social distancing.
Unpleasant and disorganized. Also when a pregnant person is coming in for a 3 hr timed glucose test give her the drink as soon as she walks in instead of sitting in the waiting room for 45 min while you checking 30 people and then have to go back and check insurance. The 3 hrs of not eating turned into 4 and a half hrs of not eating. While the waiting room fills up to the point people are sitting on the ground. Not covid safe behavior.
This was a very positive experience. Everyone was pleasant and courteous. I arrived without an appointment, with a dozen or so people in front of me, and was on my way home 40 minutes later.
After reading some previous reviews I was a little concerned about going this morning! I went early but was approximately 40th in line waiting to get in. I found everyone to be helpful and they moved people through, in my opinion, very quickly. Out in less than two hours!
Customer service, I don’t believe they know that term at this location. I don’t mind the wait, as I understand that part, however the bald angry gentlemen at the front counter makes you feel uncomfortable from the moment you walk in the doors. So, if a hostile and uncomfortable environment is what you wish then by all means come to this location because their front counter staff has got that locked down.
Been here waiting for n hour and a half for a 5 minute blood draw. Started out at #9 on The waiting list. The list is a damn joke! Made it to #2 then got moved DOWN to #6! Made it back up to #3 only to get moved back down to #5?! This place is freaking ridiculous! Why bother with a waiting list if your not going to follow it......never again! Even worse than going to labcorp!!(edit:) Three times now! Just got dropped from #2 to #3 again! This is getting freaking ridiculous!
I made an appointment ahead of time and had a good experience. The staff was very nice and tried their best to stay on schedule..
I wish I could give less than one star. I waited over an hour just to be called back up to the front desk. They then casually informed me that they didnt know how to perform the testing that was on my order. That yes, although it is blood work, they didnt know which tests to run. Thanks, I love the fact that I waited for my turn in line just to be told I wouldnt be seen.
I arrived at 6:50 on Thursday morning and was seen within 1 minute....after my blood work i was out by 6:58am.....this was Fantastic service. Im sorry the others had issues but my experience will definately bring me back here if needed.
I went in worried about possibly getting sick and tried to explain I suffer from ocd with germs but not only were they not attentive to what I was asking but when I asked where the section was for the tests I was looking for, the front desk workers told me rudely that they cannot help me find the section I missed because it constitutes ‘medical advice’. I tried to explain I just needed help finding the right section that I missed but they rudely cut me off. The guy then said they probably were under one section and when I looked, sure enough they were there and I missed reading them.
I went into Sonora Quest Laboratories to get my 9 month old daughters blood drawn to test for lead levels. The people that sign you in are very nice and helpful. I had the phlebotomist named Bruce he wasnt friendly at all. He called in another phlebotomist to help hold my daughter down from moving so he could draw her blood. He had me hold my daughter in a chair with me and he instructed me to grab her arm but I didnt do it the right way and he corrected me rudely. After her getting her blood drawn I waited on my ride to pick me up and one of the staff told this woman that was on the phone to get off the phone. They had signs posted all over about not using any electronic devices so it wont disturb others.
This afternoon I went to the lab on Brown in Mesa I told the technician that I was extremely needle phobic and to please be gental. She never said a word just jabbed me 3 times and could not get any blood I said no more and got up and left .She never said any I am sorry or anything else . I am a cancer survivor and have had lots of blood tests ,but I have never been treated so rudely
This is my 2nd time here and there are 50 people here waiting both times. Its wrong to treat people like cattle. I made an appointment but they say its for August. It smells in here and I am about to have a panic attack as we are all squished together. Its Awful.
I usually go in on a Saturday without an appointment, so I always expect a long wait unless I go in close to closing then the wait is usually less. In my experience, no employee has ever been hostile towards me.
Second visit to this location. Efficient. Kind. Phlebotomist was highly skilled. Well managed office.
This place is wonderful. They are busy but very efficient. They are gentle phlebotomists and caring people. I go regularly and have only had wonderful experiences. Thanks for always taking great care of me.
I was worried about trying Sonora Quest because of all the bad luck Ive had at Lab Corp and Covid testing. I came 20 minutes before they opened and I was 7th in line. Im happy to say that Im done and out in 30 mins and my flabotomist, Ashley was friendly and quick.
Make an appointment and you can get in and out fast. Phlebotomists are all great. Almost painless and minimal to no bruising at blood draw site.
Aloria was good at drawing my blood; usually, the tech has to stick me a couple of times before getting my blood. I was impressed, figuring that I had fasted 12 hours ago.
They are professional and courteous. They serve walk-ins and scheduled appts...so yes you may have a wait..go early or schedule an appt. Good place overall😎
Dont let them tell you that theyre a walk in clinic. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! Or else youll be sitting there for well over an hour, even if you show up at 6am! Ill be finding another doctors office because this is where they order blood tests through.
Nobody answers any phone. Directly to voice jail, with the following message:Were sorry there is nobody to take your call and the voicemail system is full. There is not enough memory to accept new messages. Sonora Quest it the epitome of the expensive, complicated, dysfunctional — and broken healthcare systems we are forced to use today.
...i was standing in the line outside on 02 april 2022 at approximately 7am - the line to your facility was overwhelming - however - i found your staff to be well organized efficient fast - but - most of all - very polite with smiles on their faces - then it was my turn - my technician who did my blood work up was sooo sweet - her name was martha - she did not hurt me - was very comforting - and - fast......its a saturday when employees wish to have a good weekend off - yet - they were there to work for us - in these times - i find people are always complaining - therefore - i want to send a huge thank you - yes - to all of you - again - thank you...
I went in today and the service was amazing and everything was organized. i went to get a blood test with Paula and she did amazing. i felt nothing. once again thank you to everyone there! thanks again to paula
Tech are good , but front office staff gives inaccurate time wait . They shouldnt tell you how long you will wait aka 20-30 min if its gonna be longer while fasting !
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. The employees are rude and the times they tell people are completely inaccurate. I was told 2.5 hours FOR SURE and it was 20 mins. The employees are incompetent and do not not inform you of any info whatsoever.
Very efficient and professional. A bit of a wait for walk ins (make an appointment if you can), but it went by quickly.
Horrible place. Very long lines. No way to schedule an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. This is a thorough disgrace to the medical profession!
Dropped by 15 minutes before opening without appointment. Found the service to be efficient and friendly. Was out by 6:30 am.
This is one of the better locations and is worth the extra drive. Their hours are also quite good. The only time that things did not go well was when I had a trainee.
I was billed when I arrived, billed months later, each time I payed what they say I owed them. Now I just received a collection notice. This has happened multiple times over the past few years. I tell everyone I can, to never got to Sonora Quest.
Went in at 9:00 AM with no appointment and got out 10 minutes later! Staff put on a good smile for everybody too!
I have never been more disrespected by the front office lady. This business has the most unprofessional employees I have ever seen, I would suggest you reconsider this location for your needs unless you just want to have a horrible experience!
Saturdays are bad days to try and get bloodwork, even with an appointment. The lobby was at Max Cap, people standing against the walls waiting! Horrible, not returning here.
Open til 11 on weekends. Got me in and out in fifteen minutes.
The staff was nice and friendly . The blood work was done fast and without pain .. Excellent job !!
I had a very sweet girl named Ashley take very good care of me. Ill definitely be back forsure! Thank you!
Service is good but PLEASE do something about the mosquitoes in the lobby. This has been a persistent problem at this site.
If I could give less than a full star for this place I would. We have been here for over an hour and have yet to have our screening. This place is very understaffed and the front desk people are rude.
Called multiple times with questions that cant be answered from the website - no one ever answers. If they do, they pickup & hang up. Usually it just get auto routed to a mailbox thats full so you cant leave a message. Who on earth is running this place?
Only location open. Makes no sense. Waited almost 3 hours
Great service. Prompt and courteous. It is important to make an appointment to reduce wait time.
This place is great. They have a fast efficient check-in process and a great waiting area. The staff are also very nice.
Professional, great staff, cool... dress warmly, long wait after 9 am ... best to make appointment online or come early.
Went to have my blood biometrics done in Gilbert and they informed me that they only do this in some locations, so I drive to one of those locations and they are closed for the day. What a pain.
The staff is not to friendly at all.. Why can we not set up appointments at 6 a.m. since your open and some have to fast...
You can get there say by 6:30 am there maybe 10 to 15 people in line may take 2 hours
Timothy the phlebotomist deserves a raise! Very gentle and painless!
Front male staff member spends more time on personal conversation than waiting on clients which makes your your experience bad.
The lady behind the desk with red hair was rude and argumentative
Easy to get into and I did not have to wait long.
This place is the worst as far waiting time goes, I’ve the first on the list for 30 mins now.
Had a great experience today!
They do a good job considering these stressful times.
This place never answers the phone, the staff is rude and they are no help at all.
The two ladies up front are beyond rude.
Your site is difficult to schedule an appointment
A well oiled machine, attempting to move everyone through in timely & efficient manner.
Exceptional help @front Desk. Staff friendly and courteous.
Dont go here. They are all old as hell.
Not friendly service, not telling the true waiting, not apology for not tell the true, not care about the people
Its slow!!!Ive been waiting over an hour.
Fast and professional. Clean. and friendly. Easy to find.
Place is so understaffed, causing long wait times.
Good lab tech
Been coming here for 10 years everybody is. So professional.
Long wait. Catreena was great.
Very bad organization skills . 2 careless people on the counter
Good luck finding the place, even with Google Maps!
Always courteous service and good technicians
These lab for blood tests are super!
These people are always the best!
Very nice
Wasnt too long a wait
Better
The staff is rude.
Awesome staff.
It took me 2 hours with my daughter, she had a headache and they didnt treat her until they wanted her!!!
Very good
