I came in on time with an Appt booked a month ago, the scanner doesnt work to check in again. She checks me in verbally, but then needs my PAPER order and insurance card/ID again. Glad I had my PAPER order or I couldnt get in. Then I got to wait a half hr after my appt time and the phlebotomist had to type my paper order in while I waited again. Better come a half hr before your appt and bring a paper order every time. Bad business practices and poor service. Try a different branch.
Had my son take a stool sample in ORDERED BY THE PEDIATRICIAN for my grandson. He lives with me and I was home with him as he is sick. Had to argue with them to take it. They told him if he wasn’t the parent they couldnt accept it which I know for a fact is not true. He had the orders from the doctor and the insurance info. After trying to get a sample for a month this was the last thing we needed. Never again.
This review is for the phlebotomist, Lori and the front receptionist, whose name I didnt catch - she was a young lady.I brought my daughter in for a lab order and I had a lab order for myself. Mine wasnt in their system but the receptionist quickly gave me an email I could send my order to making it convenient. Additionally she scheduled me and my daughter together so I could go in with her at her lab draw. Our phlebotomist, Lori, was very nice and friendly. She accommodated my request to use butterfly needles for the lab draws as they work better for my daughter and I. Lori was efficient and very skilled at drawing the labs , barely felt the needle go in and my daughter said the same.Thank you Lori for taking good care of us.
It was very easy to check in on the kiosk. They called me immediately and confirmed my appt. coping may insurance cards. Even tho I was almost 40 minutes. I was called within 10 minutes. Did blood work and received additional instructions for further test I had to complete at home. The whole process was less than 30 minutes. I have used this site before and have always received good service.
I was shocked to see a 2.9 rating for this location. While perhaps it will keep people away and our secret safe, the people here were wonderful to deal with when I went in for a blood draw. Zero complaints and thanks for being so helpful. They are in no way deserving of this low rating.
Was told I did not need an appointment. Signed in, stopped at the desk to ask if having coffee would negate the fasting order on the testing request. Was told no, I would be fine. Was sitting waiting my turn and after 45 minutes was called to the front desk , where I was informed by the same woman I spoke with earlier that my test called for fasting and having coffee broke the fasting order. She told me that I could still have the test done but it would be inaccurate.I reminded her that I had asked that question upon my arrival so I would not have to waste time sitting in an already crowded office. She had nothing to say.I left this office and will never use them again. This is the absolute worst office that I have ever been to.I don’t recommend this place , poor communication skills at reception and overcrowded conditions.
It’s always frustrating going to labs when they are busy. However, I started as a walk in with 11 people in front of me. I was in and out of here within 25 min. It was a much better experience than expected when walking in.
Ive had to come to the Mountain View Medical Center location three times in the past week and my interactions with staff have been extremely positive and efficient. Particularly Jason who was extremely helpful and kind. Such a breath of fresh air not to get attitude like you so often do at clinics. Everyone was smiling and polite and seemed to want to go the extra mile to answer even our most difficult questions. One day we could have gotten an earlier appointment at another location but chose to wait until the next day to get to come back here.
Getting blood work done is not a fun thing, but I had such a lovely experience! Sometimes it’s hard for them to find my veins and that can make it painful but they were so patient. I had to wait a little bit as does anyone who goes to a doctors office. Don’t let those low starts fool you it was just their lack of patience. Id rather have someone take their time then rush and hurt me! once I was in it was so quick and they were so kind!
First I want to point off that phlebotomist Angie was extremely rude to my father when obtaining his labs. Second, one of the labs was canceled and no one called the ordering physician to let them know why. It’s been 2 weeks and we have to redo labs. They were clueless today when I called them. We opted to go to the actual SQL facility to avoid any errors happening and I was in the wrong. Pts were clearly not being rushed in or out, so I see no reason as to why this should have happened. Very disappointing.
I HATE getting bloodwork done due to past experiences (at other clinics lol have never had a bad experience here in any way due to staff) but Angie was fantastic she got me through an extensive lab order so easily - it was the first time in probably 7yrs I had not passed out during a blood draw!
With appointments expect to wait at LEAST 30 MINUTES past the appointed time!
Sonora Quest Laboratories, a subsidiary of Laboratory Sciences of Arizona, is a joint venture between Quest Diagnostics and Banner Health, one of the largest, nonprofit health care systems in the country serving communities from Alaska to Arizona (70 in AZ).This location is an outstanding representation of the leadership management team and the inclusion of a comprehensive test menu, encompassing routine, molecular, prescription drug monitoring, genetic/genomics and pathology testing.Testing integrity and high standards are ensured by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Accreditation. By far the most unkind office I have ever been too. Not only to me; but to several older patients. One must check in at the kiosk which was easy to do; but several older patients were very confused and were lost. The female receptionist just kept yelling instructions over the covid shield. The front desk is right there. It would have been nice for the male receptionist to just take their name. I saw 2 older patients just leave in frustration. Several other issues; but I ended up leaving after an hour of waiting and going to Any Time Lab in Mesa who worked me in and I just had to pay a little more than if I would have used my insurance at Sonora.
I took my 3 year old here for a blood draw after a failed attempt at the San Tan Valley location and I liked this location so much better. There was practically no wait time because this location is appointment only. There was a screen to show your place in line. The two women who did my sons blood draw were extremely efficient and so good with upset crying kids. This is now my go-to location for blood draws even if the drive is farther from my house!
Very Nice Ladies greet you with a warm smile.Check time was very efficient & easy.
Osiris and Kim have to be two of the rudest receptionist Ive ever dealt with. They dont know their job well enough to assist patients so their primary defense is to belittle and bark at you when you ask a question. All we had were general questions about an upcoming appointment. Instead, after dealing with these two, we canceled the appointment altogether. Whats worse was watching them mistreat the senior couple in line before us simply because they were speaking in a heavy accent. Simply unprofessional behavior all around. Sonora Quest should be ashamed.
Had an appt and waited maybe 10 minutes. The phlebotomist was Angie and she was great. Explained, poked and done in no time at all, and I went on to have some breakfast and a nice day.
I had to wait over an hour in a freezing room, too. When it got unbearable, after more than an hour and no contact with staff I went out and told them I couldnt sit in the room any longer...I was shivering. The medical assistant informed me its always like this in medical offices. Dont just sit there...if you must wait, go to the outer office. Medical staff often forget that they work for US We pay them and their disrespect is not standard procedure. Otherwise it was a reasonable experience. 8-)
Had a great experience today. Havent been able to say that about all locations but these ladies working 9/29 were all amazing. Great customer service, kind, and patient. Thank you all.
Two stars because the phlebotomists are pretty good and nice. However, despite the fact that this is an appointment-only location it is ABSURD how you can arrive AT your appointment time and see 10+ other people ahead of you in the queue. That would be fine if the queue actually moved, but it is slow - really slow (at times it seems no one will be brought back for 10 or more minutes at a time). What is the point of an appointment if you just sit and wait for 30+ minutes to be seen? All I can say is don’t go here if you are in any kind of hurry. This problem is only compounded when the snowbirds show up again for the winter season. Sonora Quest really needs to rethink their appointment system and stop allowing a bunch of people to all book the same time. Very frustrating experience that I never found to be the case with LabCorp.Edit: the wait ended up exceeding 45 minutes. Unbelievable.
This is second time I am having bad experience with this lab. The man who is sitting in the front desk, his name is Jason. He dont have any manner to talk. He is very rude and never smile. Today this man yelled with me. Now I know why the rating of this lab is too low. Management should kick this man out if they care about service or business.
Great conversation with the lady who took my blood. She was great. I Gave it 3 stars for the wait time and lack of compassion for patients at check in
The epitomy of what is wrong with the healthcare system. They make you check in on a tablet even though there are 2-3 people sitting behind a desk doing nothing. They wouldnt let me schedule an appointment over the phone and they want way too much personal information to register online to set up an appointment. I went in on a Tuesday in person and was told they dont do appointments on Thursday. Came in Thursday and sat down next to a women with an appointment. So the staff is either 1) lazy and did not want to enter an appointment 2) incompotent. Checked in on the tablet and over an hour later I still hadnt been called to the counter to hand over my lab orders even though there are 3 people twiddling thumbs behind a desk not doing a thing. This is incredible frustrating and when you ask the staff what is going on they are rude or respond with an answer that shows they are to stupid to be there. A complete lack of empathy and a company that is only in existence to make money off your illness. If you can go somewhere else do so.
First appointment of the day. 5 people were brought back ahead and it took almost an hour for a very rude staff member to get blood drawn. Also, Even though a sign in the door says masks are required, the staff don’t enforce mask rules in the lobby and not all chairs are 6 feet apart. Would not recommend this location at all. Worth driving a bit further to a different location.
I was very disappointed that a lab could get away with treating people like they don’t matter. No friendly greeting at the reception desk. Very cold and uncaring with no help for people that don’t understand the kiosk sign in. There was a woman in a wheelchair that waited over an hour to the point where she could no longer hold her head up. No compassion. It was a horrible, rude and cold experience. There is not enough seating so lots of people standing around.
I was a walk in an the gentleman came out to help me since I was having trouble with trying to get appointment on the web site. What a wonderful experience. Jason an Katie were two of the nice staff. thank you Jason an Katie, after a hectic morning you made my day. Rest of staff as nice
If you’re self paying then pre price the labs you’re getting on their website, I didn’t and they overcharged me by 100 dollars , I checked afterwards and got into an email battle with them and they refused to reimburse me, I had all the prices in front of me , their quoted prices on line were 100 dollars less, compared to their bill , I will never be back, Desiree the gal who did the bloodwork was awesome office staff is inept.
I had to drop off my sons stool. It has to be there within 15mins. So I was there right at 630am when they open. They opened the door at 631 and said wow! You really want to get poked huh? ... so rude! I so no Im actually dropping off my sons stool. And the guys was like you have 2hrs and I told him thats now what they told me. Then he was like well were not going to test this till tomorrow anyways 🙄. So rude! Dont go here!
This location is by appointment only. There were at least two people in a very short time frame that came in without an appointment and were referred to go to another location that takes walk-ins, as this location is appointment priority (I think you can risk being a walk-in but I overheard that they take those with appointments over walk-ins, so it could be a long wait).I had an appointment for 8am at this location today, I got there at about 7:45-7:50am, there were a couple people in there, it wasnt too bad, I had my paperwork with me and I had prepaid for the MyLabRequest blood work appointment.I should have told them at the desk I need to lay down to get my blood taken, that was my fault, make a note of it if you need to (tell them before you get called up). Now, Im probably going to get the techs name wrong, I want to say it was DeAverick (Im probably spelling that wrong, and Im sorry). The tech was super cool, very funny, made it an easy and fun process.By the time I was out, around 8:25-8:30am, there were a TON of people in the waiting room. I would definitely suggest getting an appointment very early in the morning.
Signed in and within 5 minutes was called back. Only had 3 people ahead of me. Clean lobby. Friendly staff. Pain free. Only down falls is that you have to make an appointment online. Had to go through some extra steps to get someone on phone to set appointment.
I went with Sonora Quest to get a COVID test because they had appointments available that same day. The day of the test was Wed dec 2nd 2020. The person that did my test was super nice. She said that the results could be with in 24 to 36 hours and it will be uploaded to my portal as per my selection on the form I filled out!(fastest way to get results). Monday the 7 comes in and I still have no results called in to the office and they said over the phone that my test was processed Dec 4th was there was an issue uploading to my portal. I asked the person what was the fastest way to get my results she was not that nice about it and said I needed to either filled out a form requesting to be sent out to my email or mail or she could put a request to be manually put in my portal she said either way will take 12 to 24 hours but in most cases was within an hour. I still kept it as to be uploaded to my portal. Tuesday comes and I still do not have results called the office and this person that answered was nicer she explained to me that the person that submitted the request request it to take longer or something like that she managed to give me my NEGATIVE result over the phone confirmed my email and said I will have my results by the end of that Tuesday day here we are Thursday 10th and still have not have any results uploaded to my portal or sent to My email. Never ever going back to get anything done thru Sonora quest I can’t believe that they could take this long for something at this time so important!
Amber, my phlebotomist, was excellent. Usually I’m one of those who the person has to first try & locate a vein examining both arms. She looked at my right arm & saw a vein & she inserted the needle so smoothly & got my blood. She didn’t bruise me. Lorna Davis
Was yelled at while trying to check in. He said are you fasting i said sure am!! Thats why Im here so early. Lol. He said, i have to ask, i dont know why youre so angry. I wasnt angry, i am now but i wasnt.... why do i need to be accosted trying to do blood work?
On 5/14/2020,I had a lab test at Senora Quest lab located at 10238 E.Hampton at 7:30 Am. After a short wait, I had a blood draw taken by a friendly and professional phlebotomist. As I was exiting,I stopped at the reception desk to make certain my request to have my results sent to my primary had been recorded. I was surprised to see no one there. After a minute, I noticed an employee in a black tee shirt behind a wall on his cell phone. When he saw me he pocketed the phone and asked me “what I wanted”. I replied that I “was checking to see if my primary request had been entered”. His inappropriate response was— “ya shoulda told the girl when ya registered”. I told him that I had done so. I then requested one be sent to me at which he handed me a form. On 5/21, I called the listed office # at 10:55 am. To no response I left a message. Yesterday I received the results postmarked 5/20. (12days after the test). It would seem that some retraining is in order here considering how many are unemployed. Wm.J. Keenan
76 year old woman with severe asthma. Only went because I really needed my cardiologist to have correct info to adjust my meds, Had an apt at 9:45, did not get out until 10:30. What good are appts., if Sonora Quest is booking 3 people into each appt. slot. Better to be first come first served so you know what you are getting into. Samatha did my blood draw, she was excellent. If Sonora Quest is doing this at all Supposed Appt. Locations, shame on you for not making that information public.
I walked in and signed in and i waited ...and waited... and waited, after 45 minutes later I went up and asked how much longer they quoted another hour I told them I had signed in long ago.. they replied th appointments are taken first over walk-ins. Nd that it would b another 20 minutes. I wish they would had told me this info from th beginning that way I can chose to stay or not. Now, an hour and a half later I am still waiting in this freezing waiting room. I see people come and go ahead of me... never ever had to wait this long for LAB. Plus a girl behind th desk is freaking rude as hell.
I was trying to get a rib X-ray at 2:45 but they called me and asked if I could come early I said ok. So I get there and they said I had to get a mammogram (Im a man) so I sat and waited 2 hours later I asked why they asked me to come early? I found they were over booked and I was waiting for the mammogram which I didnt need but its their policy to get more money. I came at 12:30 after 2 hours I asked what the wait was and she said they were overbooked for the Mammogram , I asked why they called me in because my original appointment was coming up . I left and had it done elsewhere call first and ask if your going to them
Made an appointment the day before and arrived on time. I was told that the wait was one and one half hours even thought I had an appointment. I ended going to Brown and Recker 5 mins before they closed and they took me right in even thou it was 5 minutes to closing. A few days later I went to pick up a stool sample kit at Crismon and they were closed at 2:45 and they are supposed to open until 3. Their appointment only policy is a joke. I will not go there anymore.
I was waiting over an hour just to get swabbed for Covid and influenza was on there, and they said that they were not certified and turn me away, and tell me to go to urgent care.
Crismon and Baseline location: I received a lab order for Sonora quest labs and waited in line for them to tell me they wouldn’t give me a blood test because it was ordered by Tri City Cardiology. The Lady from Sonora Quest said all the other Sonora Quest labs will do it. They said because they are not in the Banner network. Well, Tri City Cardiology has a huge office where I got my lab order in Banner Baywood Heart Hospital! She was rude and wrong. I think Sonora Quest needs to train their check in receptionists more thoroughly or correct their policy. And last thing if my insurance is good at any Sonora Quest what’s the difference which one I have a test at. I went to the one in Apache Junction and they were much friendlier.
Scheduled an appointment yet still had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. They had no one working the front desk so when they brought us back is when they checked our insurance THEN said they didn’t take it. Go to the other blood draw company, they are never as busy, much more efficient, and will take your paperwork even if it says Sonora Quest on it.
Im so glad I came to this office location! Efficient, professional, and extremely friendly staff. They folks here are very kind and considerate. Thank you all!
I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes at this location. The process is fairly quick and the technicians know what they are doing. The office, however, is extremely cold so bring a jacket.
Great service, extremely kind when we walked in without an appintmment the other day, my family still hadnt found out about it, as we rarely require blood tests, but they said they could fit us in and lo and behold five minutes later, 6:45 AM, we always make sure to get there when it opens,we were in and out by 7:15! Love this place!
Made an appointment for a blood test (out more than a month because of my work schedule). When I arrived today, found out the office had been closed since the first of January.
I cannot even begin to explain how awful this experience was. Everyone was in incredibly unhelpful and uncaring, and don’t even get me started on how long it even takes to get any help or assistance. I hope these people aren’t this unhappy in real life because the misery can be felt. I am so so disappointed I have to go back here.
Couldn’t find the place, even though I showed up a half hour early for my appointment. Called over and over to a broken answering machine, and never ended up getting through to anyone to ask for help so I wouldn’t be late. Lo and behold, I was able to find it 45 minutes later. Needless to say, I couldn’t get in for my appointment.
Came in this morning last minute without an appt and waited maybe 5 minutes and the staff was WONDERFUL. I didnt realized this location was appt only and they squeezed me in anyway. I will definitely be back to this lab for any future testing they are fantastic.
There are no appointments available within an hour of our house within the date range required by the surgeon and Senora Quest DOES NOT CARE...
This particular site is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. My appointment was at 12:15 pm. Patrons whom had appointments as early as10am still had not been seen. I waited until 1:30 I had no choice but to leave so my husband could make it to work on time. Very poor service.
Bad experience , from mixing my records eith another patient , having two charts for me, to attitudes and very long wait time. After all of that they said they needed to reschedule me
Speed and professionalism was apparent at this location. Front desk Jason was knowledgeable, friendly, and helped a great deal with getting my husband through the process.
Kudos to Anna for taking time before her break to get me in for my blood draw. What a great experience. Thank you again Anna.
My son, who is a tricky blood draw, was seen by Kim and she was amazing! They got us in and out with very little wait!
Swift, friendly, and very talented staff, i certainly plan to come back
HENRY COLOMAN JR THE LAB GUY WHO TOOK MY BLOOD HES WORKS AT APACHE JUNCTION BUT MT VISTA WAS SHORT STAFFED SO LUCKY FOR ME.I GOT HIM HE MAKE UR FEAR GO AWAY U DONT FEEL ANYTHING HE SOOOOO GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES REQUEST HIM FOR UR KIDS EDERLY UR SELF HE IS AWESOME!!!
Gave it another chance.....they were great!!!!! My new go to!!! Friendly fast easy peasy!!!! Thank you!
Outstanding service by the receptionist and also from the phlebotomist Jordan, she drew my blood swiftly and painlessly. Thank you Jordan!
Nice people..efficant
I always get an appointment waited about 5 minutes. Fast, clean, & friendly.
Why make an appt! 50 minute wait. Ridiculous
My Doctor hasnt received my monthly blood draw results since March 2021!
Emily was very professional
Ive never had a problem. Hope it doesnt start now.
Very nice place have gone there many years really professional and good blood drawers caring and kind thank your staff there
High marks for this office that goes over and above. Use as gold standard.
Worse place ever they dont take walk ins but yet room is empty and they are all standing around talking I guess work ethics is not there for this place
Very rude and disrespectful 2 ladies up front yelling at patients like we bothering 👎
They dont seem to be on the time schedule as the rest of the State. Opened five minutes late!
It’s almost impossible to call Sonora quest and book blood work.
Suddenly this location is by appointment only and you have no way to find that out until you show up.
Terrible behavior, terrible attitude at Senora Quest today
Not much of a wait with appointment.
I had great and fast service
In a word, RUDE
