Came here as a walk in for my 12 year old to get labs drawn. The wait was less than 10 minutes, the lobby is clean, and the phlebotomist was really good! My son has a hard time with needles, but she was super kind, gentle and quick.
I have had many problems with my Dr. Office not giving clarity on timeframes or fasting. The staff brought me answers and assistance. Many veins have been harmed and it’s been painful to get a draw and the hospital blew many veins for awhile now..Mya listened and was comforting with her words and her skill was fantastic. It was as If she understood and adjusted but she’s good at her job very refreshing. Lexi made the cutest artwork post it’s giving extra love and support! Thank you so much ladies it quieted my anxiety and will get me back answers without pain!..💗
I must admit I was a little hesitant about coming to this location because of the reviews BUT seemed to me they made some changes because my experience was really good Martha was great very friendly and best part i didnt even feel it !I didnt have an appointment, so I was OK with waiting, but even so, I only waited about 20 min ! The facility is very clean and organized. I am very happy and definitely would come back here ... They opened very early one of the reasons i came here, but they close at 3, so keep that on mind
Deserves a higher rating than they have! showed up 10 mins early to an appointment and was all done before my appointment time! phlebotomist was very experienced so blood draw barely hurt at all
I dont know why this place has a 3.1. I was 5th in line when I got there, and I didnt even have time to load up a game they called me so quickly. I had the privilege of hanging out with Angie today and let me tell you. That lady knows her way around a vein. I have deep/extremely difficult to find veins yet she was on it like a hobo on a ham sandwich first go. No bruising, no awkward pain after. Ill go back if I need tests in the future
I’ve had my bloodwork done at SQ since I can remember and I’ve never gone anywhere else, nor switched insurance . I’ve had an appointment at this location for weeks and when I got there the receptionist refused to see me due to insurance . When I followed her insincere directions to go to another lab , I got there only to find out my lab tests have been sent to SQ of course . So it left me out of luck and driving all over town for labs I need by Monday .
Always Pleasent staff, and I like the fact, as a walk in the wait is not long at all. I come in as a walk in all the time, and I am never there past 1hr. The office is always clean as well. Overall they are pretty fast, and efficient.
Trying to give a simple urine sample, turned into an hour wait, just for papers and to go pee. Front counter has no employee most of the time being there.Slow. Unprofessional.
Pleasant and helpful staff and my wait as a walk-in was not long, even in the middle of the day on a Monday. I was there less than an hour total. I would go here again!
Wonderful experience every time. . Location is clean, staff is prompt, professional, and kind. This location is close to my residence but if it weren’t, I would absolutely make the drive out of my way to come to this location only.
I went here for a walk-in blood draw. Wait time was approximately 30 min which seemed reasonable for a walk in. What made it great was Angie. She was exceptionally delightful and friendly. She is an absolute rockstar.
I had an order from my Endocrinologist to check all hormone levels. The woman at the front desk said I was there too late for Cortisol to be taken even though I had an early morning appointment. They took my blood for the rest of the order but charged me for a Uric Acid test which my doctor did not order. Additionally, they did not actually pull any hormone numbers so I had to reschedule for a 7:30am appointment. When I got there a different woman at the front asked why I was back with the same order form and I explained the work was not completed. She apologized and said they should have pulled everything the first time given it was standard cortisol. So, two trips later I finally got my results and the bill for multiple visits has been received in the mail. Now I have to call Sonora Quest and refute the additional visit and labs which were not ordered. I recommend increased staff training at this location so other patients don’t have their time wasted. It’s ridiculous I was charged twice when it was the complete error of the staff.Update: Joshua the Billing Dept Manager called me and is working on adjusting my bill. He apologized for the staff oversight. Updating my review from a 2 to 5 given the strong customer service effort. Appreciate it.
After reading reviews for multiple locations I was very apprehensive taking my child who has never had his blood drawn. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. Our appointment was at 2:15 (we were a few minutes late) but we were taken back by 2:30. Martha very efficiently drew his blood and my son has no major bruising the day after 👍
Very quick to be brought back for my routine lab appointment. My nurse was Tammy and she was phenomenal. Didn’t feel a thing and she was so nice! If you are able to see Tammy I highly recommend her she is the sweetest person!
I had a lady called Angie helping me.she discovered many mistake from the doctor’s scrip and made sure that all was correct before drawing the blood. Thank you Angie for caring.
I got there early, so I checked in and waited just a short time before it was my turn. I will say it got busy fast, and at that hour didnt seem to have a lot of techs, but they handled the crowd well. Staff was pleasant, and plebotomist asked a few times if I was doing ok, even after I said I was fine with blood draws. Also asked if I was allergic to tape, so I really felt like they did their best to care about their patients.
Went here to get bloodwork ordered from my doctor. Called for 3 months straight and not one time did someone answer the phone. Finally went in person and was told the wait was 1.5 hours. I go grab a bite to eat and get a message 30 minutes later its my turn. Do I need to say more.
My father went in to get blood work done at this location and one hispanic phlebotomist was very rude, we did not get her name but she was disrespectful. If you hate your job so much go get a new one where you dont have to be rude. I do healthcare and if Im having a bad day I still treat my patients with respect.
So, it was time for my wife and I to go see the blood sucking vampires again. My wife has a hard time because her veins like to play hide and seek. The vampires always end up taking it from the top of her hand, which hurts and always bruises. We set up the appointment online, super easy. Check in was fast and efficient. Tammy called us both back together, they must have known we were the troublemakers, Haha. Tammy was amazing, she was friendly and talkative without being one of those Chatty Cathy types. She listened to my wifes concerns and Tammy was able to get the draw from my wifes arm without any issues, no pain and no bruise. Guess which vampire we will go see from now on. Thank you, Tammy!!!
Tried to call ahead let them know of a drop off no one answered.Samantha was on her phone Unfriendly and acted like Im interrupting her. This locationIs Unhelpful only wants patients kiosk instead of talking to them. Understanding that patients come to you get better and answers not to because we want to be ignored and pushed to the side. This location needs better help if thats how patients are getting treated.
Was leary because of reviews but I went in at 7 am, no appointment and was pleasantly surprised. Checked in on kiosk then waited a short time, was called in and done. Juan was very nice, hardly felt needle and efficient. Maybe if its possible go in early, open at 6 am, beat the crowds and bad attitudes!
I have a needle phobia and had a great experience with my 3 vials drawn from Lexi. Very nice, patient and professional.
Waited for 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment. HIGHLY recommend if you have time to kill and dont mind being passed over by other clients that came in after you. We were here 10 minutes before appointment & checked in on kiosk as instructed!!
Lately this location has been running behind every time I come in yesterday I brought my granddaughter and they run behind today brought my daughter and guess what they are running behind this is with appointments I have one tomorrow hopefully instead of having a conversation about their nails the girl upfront and one of the phlebotomist they should be taking care of the patients what’s the whole point of the appointments if they are never on time I understand one in a while but every time what could be going on?
I came in yesterday morning for labs , everything was going well front desk lady super friendly super nice girls, they were doing the best they could because it was super busy . But the one that needs to be retrained is the so call team lead “Tammy” , she is not professional at all !!!! She treats her stuff very very bad and she is super super rude ! Poor front desk girls got yell at for no reason ! They were doing the best they could and moving as fast and they could !! I mean we all make mistakes but there’s ways to address that with your stuff not the way she did it !!! So unprofessional.
Sonora Quest does not list this as an appointment only location, but the location took it upon themselves to put a sign right out front in your face saying Appointments Only. Did not offer much help on finding another close location. Told me to go to only two other locations that were 15 miles away, further away than many locations listed on the Sonora Quest website.
Still waiting for my results 12 hours later when it was stat! Super slow for a simple very important blood test. Go someplace that knows what stat means.
Sung was amazing she took my blood and she made me laugh
Nobody behind the counter for 5 minutes. Two employees just walked by. I ask, is anyone here? They said they are all busy
I dont understand why theres receptionist here they dont like answering the phone & if they do youre on hold forever and believe me it was not busy today when I went in they couldnt find my order that was faxed over yesterday, then when it was sent again i saw her remove 3 papers from the fax machine before telling us it came in, To 5 mins later say it was only a cover letter 🤦♀️ dont waste your time here unless you have the order IN HAND! I left before i wasted another hour there
Whoever just answered the phone and spoke with me was so incredibly rude. I was frustrated that my blood test order was not in their system and she was absolutely no help to me in trying to figure out why that would be. My doctor at Mayo Clinic had faxed it 3 times, twice to the main number listed on their Sonora Quest website and then to the fax number for that specific location which another employee gave to me last week. Yet somehow Sonora Quest just doesn’t have it?? That makes absolutely no sense. The lady also said I was yelling on the phone when I absolutely was not yelling! I’m just hard of hearing so I talk a little loud! Regardless, either their fax machines aren’t working or their employees are failing to do their job by entering order forms into the system once they receive them via fax. This makes me never want to return to Sonora Quest ever again.
This laboratory is the worst of all the laboratories in Phoenix. The people behind the desk are rude, inconsiderate, and never tell the truth. Every time I go there there’s a problem. Today for instance I got there at 2:45 PM, 15minutes before they closed, and was told that walk-ins are no longer taken past 2:30 PM. If this was the case it should be listed on their front door. Don’t go you’ll be sorry!
Really unfriendly desk staff, unnecessarily so. Almost an hour visit with an appointment beforehand. Phlebotomist was pleasant for the other star.
If youre a Banner patient and they send you here for blood work, youre going to be on hold a LONG time, over 40 minutes to get disconnected... been on hold over a half hour again because you cannot schedule an appointment online.
I went for a recent CBC test.. it was small with only 4 to 6 employees working. I was a Walk in since there was no appointments available. I was told a 45 minute wait; but was out in 35 minutes.
Very professional and prompt service. Angie was great!! She knew her stuff and has a great personality.
If I could give 0 stars I would this was the worst experience my 1 year old needed blood work done and the messed up so badly couldn’t find the vain on one arm then blew a blood vessel the second arm…. WTFFF we are livid that the suggested trying AGAIN right after all of that… if children banner suggest this location please don’t go…
This office is horrible I came to get blood work done and they drew 6 tubes just for the girl drawing the blood to say she didn’t read one of the orders which was for a TB test, so she drew all 6 tubes all over again in a different arm and then I later find out the TB test wasn’t even ran and now I have to get it done all over again, the phlebotomists do not know what they’re doing here and shouldn’t be drawing peoples blood if they’re not reading the orders correctly 😂don’t waste your time they all don’t know what they’re doing
Friendly staff, very organized & quick. I was a walk-in so I expected a long wait but it wasnt long. Katlyn was great. Thanks!
Morning blood draw was on point! On time, very easy. Phlebotomist was very nice. Good location 👌
Made an appointment and was seen right away. All the ladies there were very polite.
APPOINTMENT ONLY UNTIL JANUARY 19TH, 2024. There. Now hopefully you know before showing up.
The staff is very nice and friendly and they do their job very well and professionally!!!!
Its almost impossible to call the front desk when I have been there and there are always people there
The staff at this location is so friendly & welcoming! Everyone was super helpful as well.
Front desk people have no clue what’s going on. Don’t waste your time here because they will waste yours
Friendly and professional staff!
Nice staff done on timeThank you
