We transfered to CCRM from another clinic for a 2nd round of IVF and Dr Hanson has been absolutely wonderful to work with! We have a complicated case, female and male infertility, as well as genetic heart condition we are testing for.Dr Hanson has been very thorough with all of our care and he is so easy to talk to!We have had great experiences with the blue team as well. Everyone has been very informative and so nice.
Experience with staff and communication varies greatly. I have worked with some staff who were absolutely amazing, and some that left me feeling extremely frustrated, unheard, and like my care was not a priority. Information is not readily volunteered throughout the IVF process. If you do not know what to ask, you will miss critical information that impacts results directly. Please do your research and come prepared with every little question you might have. Im not sure how this clinic compares to others. Maybe this is just how all fertility clinics operate.
Our consultation (via Zoom) was extremely short - maybe 10 minutes. She quickly went over our medical history around pregnancy, told me to come in on my next cycle for blood work, then we would decide from there. It was over 4 weeks from the time I booked the appt until the consultation & I could have easily gone in for blood work during that time had it been communicated. We didn’t get any information about the IUI/IVF process & we’re just asked if we had any questions. Also, she was over 20 minutes late to the meeting with zero communication that she’d be running late.
This is the worst clinic I’ve ever experienced. When you come to a virtual clinic, you’re already dealing with something and in need of help and compassion, neither of which I’ve seen here. All consultations and treatment plan discussions are done online, and the doctor rushes through the sessions without giving you time to process or fully understand. Anytime you ask a question, they just say, My nurse will follow up with more information. On top of that, they rescheduled my appointment twice without even informing me. This is just a small part of my bad experience.
Very disappointed in my experience with ccrm so far. Just finished with my IVF transfer, this should be a very happy experience, however the business office has been very stressful and keeps sending us a bill that we already paid. I feel that the transfer was rushed, and should have never had to deal with the stress with the business at the same time. It does not seem like anybody at the ccrm office communicates with one another.
In my experience, Dr. Hanson does not care about his patients and continually pushed the most expensive option with me and my wife. Multiple times my wife or myself had to wait 40 minutes plus after appointment times. Dr Hanson was 40 minutes late for an online appointment. Every appointment he pushed for the most expensive option even after being told no.After being told no, and we are fine with our current course of action. They are refusing to treat my wife. It is my personal opinion that this is due to our refusal to go with the option pushed at us.I will be honest with whomever asks about how we have been treated here or where we recommend treatment. For anyone reading this it is my opinion that this is not a place of excellence and is only money motivated. This opinion is based on my familys personal experience.
We are so grateful for Dr. Hanson and the whole team at CCRM. Our little miracle baby is now 6 months old and would not be in our lives without the incredible work of the team at CCRM. Dr Hanson was kind, relatable and compassionate in his care. He was honest and always presented options that we were able to choose from. He considered my overall health and previous conditions in his treatment plans and we were successful after 2 rounds of IVF. Infertility is a journey and you want a team by your side who can help and support you through the ups and downs. CCRM was that for my husband and me.
If I could give CCRM 0 stars, I definitely would. I’m not one to post negative reviews, but the experience I’ve had at CCRM is something I feel that I should warn others about, so that they can save both their time, energy and money - it was by far the worst medical experience I’ve ever had in my life. At CCRM, you are truly just a number. They do not care about you whatsoever, and they are absolutely only in business for the money. Here are just a few of the terrible experiences I had:- I was at CCRM doing timed intercourse cycles, and every single time I would talk to a nurse they would talk about IUI. I asked maybe 5-6 different times that they would make a note in my chart stating that I am not doing IUI, but timed intercourse. Every time they would apologize and say it would be changed, but it never was. Not once, but twice did they literally schedule me a date to come into the clinic for my IUI transfer (that I was never actually doing), because despite me telling them time and time again, they still had absolutely no idea that I wasn’t actually doing IUI. Number 1 example that you’re really just a number here, and they do not care whatsoever about you.- I can’t tell you how many times I wouldn’t hear back from the nurses regarding what my next steps were. Everyone knows that with infertility, it is very much a timed process and things need to happen when they need to happen or you will miss out on everything you’ve done in that cycle (meds & a lot of money) and need to wait until your next one to restart the process. One cycle, my follicle was at an 18 and they never called me with the information of how to move forward that evening. I called them minutes before they closed and they said they would order my trigger shot (that needed to be used that night). I got to the specialty pharmacy that was 40 minutes away, and the pharmacy informed me they never ordered it. Complete lack of care and organization on their part. I had to call the after hours number and sit around and wait for hours until it was actually ordered and I could pick it up. Had I not been on top of my cycle, this would have cost me thousands of dollars and a whole month of wasted time/energy/appointments.- Another time I messaged a nurse for some meds I needed that day. It was 8am when I messaged the nurse, and I went to pick them up at 5pm and the pharmacy again said they were never ordered.- One time, I was at the clinic on a Sunday for labs, and there were about 10 people standing up in the back waiting for their appointment, with 1 lab tech actually taking blood. It took over 50 minutes past my appointment time to get in. She told me they were super backed up because they didn’t want to schedule any workers on Super Bowl Sunday - yet they scheduled a bunch of patients not caring that they would have to sit around and wait for an hour.- Two times, I had virtual calls with Dr. Batcheller before 8am, and she was over 40 minutes late for both of them. I completely understand running behind, but not at 8am. She did not apologize whatsoever and acted as though nothing was wrong. A complete disrespect for other people’s time. These are just a few of the bad experiences I’ve had here. If you go to CCRM, make sure that you are on top of your own cycle, otherwise things will fall through the cracks and you will lose out on so much time and so much money. I would urge you to check out other fertility clinics before even considering CCRM.
I am so grateful to CCRM for the work I’ve done with them. Truly, every single day I look at my son and what they helped us do and I’m speechless with gratitude. That said, I feel the quality of care is declining in a big way from when I started. Success is wonderful but is this center getting too big to fail? The responsiveness is fine via the portal but should an impersonal portal to be used for all communication? Also said communication has major gaps between different people, as a patient I didn’t ever feel connected to the physician, actual face to face time or phone time with doctor is close to nonexistent, and even phone calls from nurses after results (i.e., major results like fHR, hormones levels in the beginning) are either completely lacking or having to be chased down by the patient. CCRM, please don’t communicate everything with a message in the portal. This is a delicate process and patients need to have concerns/worries addressed. Some of us have questions that we save for 4 weeks just to ask you during the cherished phone call and then it doesn’t come and is replaced by a message in a portal? The patient experience is soooo fragile and taxing and the impersonal touch is just discouraging and demoralizing. While I’m so touched with what I’ve been able to achieve with you guys, I’m consistently disappointed in the level of care I’m receiving during this transfer. Please be there for us. You’re all we have in this moment until we move onto OB. We need you a little more present even if we are just another number in your world, we are IVF families going through one of the hardest chapters of life.
Overall they do a good job getting you in and out of the clinic pretty quickly. The doctor are kind and respond quickly to concerns. It was difficult initially to work the two patient portals and find documents in both.
My experience has been nothing but outstanding! Dr. Hanson is the best and his team! Dr. Hanson is SO compassionate and kindhearted! He took his time with us explaining every step of the way and answering our questions. With his help, we completed our family of four through IVF.
Dont bother asking them for specific prices. They will make you go through an entire patient onboarding process and do a consultation before they give you any prices. What they wont tell you up front is that you will be charged nearly $400 for this 10 minute virtual consultation, just so they can allow the business office to message you a sheet of prices. The consultation fee is listed on this sheet of prices, AFTER youve already had the consultation and are slammed with an unexpected bill. Needless to say, we will not be using their services.
Successful donor IVF! I have a healthy, beautiful 13 month old girl because of CCRM. After 3 IVF clinics told me it wasnt possible, CCRM made it happen. They are a busy clinic, but they customize your hormones to optimize chances for a successful pregnancy. I would recommend them to anyone loosing hope in their fertility journey.
We scheduled a new patient appointment over a month or so ago- the time came for the appointment and when we got to the clinic we were told because we made the appointment online, that does not secure the actual appointment? The girl at the front desk admitted someone from the clinic was supposed to call to confirm and send paperwork. No apologies other than that. My wife and I both took work off early and traveled over 35 minutes to get to the clinic. We will be looking for care elsewhere and definitely will not recommend this clinic.
My wife and I are having our first IVF experience and the staff at CCRM are very supportive and helpful. The education materials (videos) are super helpful and must watch content to help understand what to expect and what the process will be.
They have horrible internal communication! They called in the wrong meds which cost us a lot of money. They lost our surrogates medical records multiple times. Sometimes one person would tell us they had them while a second person would tell us they didnt have them and then a third would tell us they only had some of them. One of our surrogates refused to work with us because she sent her medical records in over 4 times and they kept losing all of them or parts of them. After our second surrogate threatened to quit working with us for the same reason, we shipped our embryos to a different reproductive endocrinologist. But even that was horrible and it took 6 months and threats of suing them to get someone at CCRM to actually fill out the form completely and correctly (they would fill out of page but not the second, or they would write so messy that it couldnt be read, every phone call I would be told someone would call be back later that day, but 23 phone calls resulted in zero returned calls) so we could ship them simply because they cannot communicate appropriately within their own business and someone always drops the ball somewhere in the process. Infertility is already difficult without adding all this communication chaos as well. And to add to this, our embryos were finally shipped last summer and then over 8 months later theyve sent us a new bill for storing embryos for this year that they dont even have anymore. Its an absolute sh*tshow here, so proceed with caution.
If I could give CCRM zero stars, I would, but alas, Google won’t allow it. Their staff is incapable of doing anything in a timely manner without us spamming them with messages in their terrible portal or calling. The doctor even had the audacity to yell at my husband for using the urgent line to get a hold of someone to complete the prior authorization needed to get the meds on time. Anyone who has done IVF knows that timing is everything and after two weeks of calling and messaging them to get in touch with our insurance, we were unable to fill the meds we needed in time, pushing our treatment back another cycle. We had this same issue with our IUI cycle, where prior authorization was down to the wire to get our meds.Additionally, we NEVER met our doctor in person. Our appointments were only offered online using the worst app ever created for a health care system. I genuinely couldn’t tell you what she looked like as the screen was so small. When you’re doing something as emotionally and physically taxing as fertility treatments, the patient’s comfort and trust should be your number one priority.Unfortunately, CCRM caused me so much stress that it brought me to tears on more than one occasion, (and I hadn’t even begun any of the hormones). They lack empathy, compassion, organization and accountability. I highly recommend choosing a different clinic.
Dr. Hanson gave me a much appreciated and much needed second opinion that helped guide my next steps and make informed decisions about the care I was getting elsewhere. Helpful!
The only things more disapointing than the excuse for care we recieved with Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine (CCRM) are the fact that I cannot rate our experience lower and broadcast my concerns farther in terms of the depth of negativity that this place brought my wife and I during an already stressful time. This facility proved completely unable to complete any aspect of our infertility treatment. Any single prescription required hours on the phone with our insurance and pharmasits, only to find orders denied due to incomplete requests from CCRM. The staff was seemingly intentionaly difficult to reach, and particularly rude and condescending when we were able to get a hold of them. I urge anyone reading this to avoid treatment from CCRM at all costs. The pain and despair they caused my partner and I under the guise of care was devistating, and I wouldnt wish it upon anyone.
New patient with Dr. April. Satisfied because dr. Is finding ways to help me, as my menstrual cycle is irregular. Excited for this journey with de. April.
Not a positive experience. Dr. Batcheller showed up half way through the scheduled time for our appointment. We should’ve gotten testing done elsewhere and not bothered with CCRM. It felt like we met with a saleswoman rather than a doctor.
I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. 1st of all I meet with Dr. Hanson and he was not thorough and not considerate. He told me if he was in my place he wouldn’t even try to have a baby. I had lots of test that he didn’t even have the time to go through them with me. I believe they take patients who have better success rate to increase their odds. Thankfully I was pregnant without Rx within a month.Other than that, my husband had a test and we payed for at the office, then they mailed us a bill.I am just so disappointed with this level of treatment and dishonesty.. we need compassionate doctors and staff while we are going through fertility treatments, we should not be treated as $$.
Overall, I had a great experience face to face with the nurses, lab techs, and ultrasound techs. They were very friendly. We had Dr. Batcheller and only had 2 video appointments with her.My husband and I live several hours away so we asked if we could do some of the bloodwork and ultrasounds locally. They told us that was fine. What they did not inform us was that these results always needed to be same day by noon. This caused a lot of stress finding a different location last minute to schedule these appointments because my local hospital didnt have the capability.I have a primary and secondary insurance listed with them. They have it wrong in the system even though weve told them it needs corrected multiple times and are told it has been. Today I received a bill stating that none of my recent services were covered. They still had the insurance listed backwards and didnt even attempt to bill to my secondary after my primary didnt cover it.People wise, Ive enjoyed the experience, but financially, it has been a nightmare. Im very disappointed in their financial department and the lack of communication you receive from them. This is already a stressful thing to go through, and having financial burdens that are supposed to be covered is very overwhelming.I do not believe I will go back for future services there if I need to do another iui.
Unfortunately our experience has been less than present. We decided on CCRM after being mislead by several other fertility clinics. We were hoping to have better results. Unfortunately it has been a hurry up and wait game. We started our process with them a year ago. It’s been lots on no news and waiting. After our last meeting with the doctor in the beginning of fall he told us our procedure would take place in 3-4 months. It’s been six and have still heard nothing. The last time we begged them to answer us they told us the beginning of January and here we are with no news. This office has completely broken my and my wife’s spirts and it appears that another IVF doctor has played us to make money.
It’s always a breath of fresh air to walk into a clinic where everyone truly wants to help the patients, even down to the front desk staff. Thanks Murray for helping me with my outside monitoring orders today.
I have been working with CCRM for almost a year now and the staff is incredible. Dr. Hanson’s pink team nurses are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and empathetic. They are the best nurses that I have ever worked with, which has been so appreciated with how exhausting IVF can be. Laura the nurse midwife is incredibly patient and very helpful as well. All the nurses are super responsive and kind. I also had a favorite ultrasound tech to work with. She is super friendly, professional, and outgoing. I work primarily with Dr. Hanson and he is so kind, calm, and knowledgeable. I also worked with Dr. Kohlmeier recently and she was super friendly and professional. If you are looking for a supportive and communicative staff, I highly recommend CCRM Minneapolis. We traveled far for it and it has been worth it!
I used CCRM 6 years ago when I had one week to do egg retrieval before starting chemo. Back then it was Unbelievable great and caring team fast forward to thinking I should use them for my now fertility issues. (Since they have my frozen eggs) I went back to them last September worst mistake ever. Not only are they completely unorganized in a very unknown emotional territory and stressful in every way they have to pay before the appointment ok fine. When I get to the back no one has any idea of why I’m there for my first in person appointment they asked ME what I was doing today. Umm no idea this is my first time what did I just pay for if you’re unsure why I’m here. I felt so disappointed and lost I had no idea. Impossible to get a hold of a nurse when you’re looking for reassurance and comfort to help guide you. As I was about to do an IUI 2 days before they informed me oh actually we don’t have all your records if we get them in time we can proceed. Excuse me? Is this not extremely timed out I just prepared for this and 2 days before sorry!? After several other things and false diagnosis we switched to a different clinic close by. Asked to get our records sent WELL before my next consult. Did my new clinic have it? Nope CCRM will make that impossible and delay you trying to have your child somewhere else. Took 3 phone calls and telling them we’re coming to the clinic if not sent. Magically they got there finally. Fast forward to now I need to work on getting my eggs transferred to the new clinic. Took 2 1/2 weeks for the clinic to sign and send ONE page of the egg information my embryologist needs. If my next transfer fails these eggs determine my future.I gave them a thorough list of what they needed. Who knows how long it will take to get the rest of it after I had to leave a VM. A fax isn’t hard we do it everyday at my job and I listed exactly what I needed making it as easy as possible. This clinic is full of heartless people who clearly don’t care it’s disgusting. People’s lives emotions and money I don’t know how they go home and night and don’t feel guilty blows my mind as I’m in healthcare myself I could never. We are fragile people just trying to get a child do better.
I cannot express how grateful I am to have found CCRM. My husband and I (both mid-thirties) have been trying to conceive for more than 2 years, and had one unsuccessful IUI at a clinic out of state. We were fully prepared to do IVF with CCRM (we felt comfortable and very well-informed by Dr. Hanson and team), but ultimately decided to try to conceive naturally after Dr. Hanson performed a polypectomy on January 2nd of this year. He figured out what the problem was, fixed it, and I had my first ever positive pregnancy test 24 days later. Thank you Dr. Hanson and team, and praise God! I wish everyone had just as good of an experience, because infertility is heart-wrenching journey. I also want to thank the surgery team. From my pre-op/PACU nurse, to the OR nurses and anesthetist - you all were the best! ♥
We started seeing Dr. Batcheller last year after a miscarriage & the discovery that I have diminished ovarian reserve. Dr. Batcheller was a wonderful presence -- she checked things that no one else did and was also able to help us optimize our fertility health. We never got to the point of actually starting IUI or IVF and ended up getting pregnant earlier this year. I sit here now with our incredible newborn and know that CCRM was an essential part of making this possible.
I’ve been going to CCRM for over a year now. I see Dr.Hanson. First of all that man is a saint. He is very kind and understanding as well as professional and extensively knowledgeable. This is the first place I’ve ever felt like my concerns for my reproduction were taken seriously. I found out I did in fact have issues many other drs said I didn’t or wouldn’t look for. The whole staff every person I’ve interacted with has made me feel welcomed and wanted. If portal messages aren’t your thing I can see why there is frustration with the communication but every time I’ve called after getting a message I’ve been able to reach my team. I started stims on Christmas Eve and was in and out of the clinic the whole week of Christmas into the New year. I really couldn’t ask for a better team to help me in this very hard journey. If you’re considering CCRM I highly recommend you contact them!
Dr never showed up for my consultation appointment, no notice (i had to call them) and then was told i needed to reschedule my appointment and they wouldn’t be able to get me in for another 2 weeks. Highly unprofessional, unkind, and inconsiderate.EDITI would like to update to say that now that I have been able to see a Doctor at this clinic, the doctors here are very knowledgable and thorough. However, all of that is masked by the horrible scheduling and communication. I have not been able to get information regarding coverage for my procedures no matter how many times I reach out. I have had multiple appointments booked for different times than what was discussed. I had to nag just to get copies of my own lab results. I hope these issues can be resolved so people can more easily access the services of these doctors.
Being a patient to CCRM, it made me feel like going on a roller coaster ride. When signing up as a new patient, everything went really smooth and being kept up consistently with the doctor office. Till certain point, calling into CCRM to speak to a nurse or even billing office go no where. Called many many times and left voicemail and nobody responded back to my request. Ended up going to different infertility offices. Quite a bad experience. Reading the reviews from the previous patient, CCRM really needs to fix their communication/customer service/front line reception.
I previously shared that I was charged $25 for a call that I received from a nurse that lasted less than 2 minutes. CCRM reached out to me and reversed that charge, so I wanted to update this review to reflect that their office administrator took the time to hear my story and correct the actions.I am a three-time patient of CCRM and have mixed feelings about the clinic. On the one hand, my experiences have been successful (though, caveat, I am very fertile - their words- so I was a fairly easy patient to begin with) and the nurses were all kind.Keep in mind that this is a very expensive clinic and they will charge you at every opportunity. Take the time to fully understand the costs (is it $25 each time a nurse calls you? I still dont know as their billing practices seem to change on a dime). Good luck.
They are great to work with and always friendly. My schedule is not very accommodating but they do their best to get me in when I come come since I live out of town. They are always fast to respond to messages and never seem to miss any details. My nurse Ashley is amazing and you’ll love Ashton if you see her for your ultrasounds. This has not been an easy journey emotionally but all the doctors and staff are amazing which definitely helps.
My only feedback I have is that my vitals were taken before my ultrasounds/procedure, and therefore resulted in high vitals (white coat syndrome- is definitely true in this case)! My own anxiousness contributed to this visit just because we are praying and hopeful for good news. It’s always best to have them taken after clinic visit. Always! I know my body. Dr Hanson was wonderful though and finally got to meet him in person vs virtually. Happy to have him as a part of our care.
The people at CCRM are so personable and create a sense of family during times that can be extremely stressful. Dr. Amy and her team are truly the best and helped us start our family on our first IVF attempt! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fresh start and another opinion in their fertility journey.
I believe the hospital is more interested in making money than providing care to patients. The disappointment of a failed pregnancy is amplified because of the following experiences. The hospital did not warn me until after egg retrieval day, that I had many big cysts that affected the number of follicles. So it was a shock when I discovered how few eggs were retrieved. The hospital claimed that it is not possible for an ultrasound to indicate whether its a cyst or a follicle. However my brother, who is also a doctor, disagrees. He says an ultrasound is able to identify what are cysts and what are eggs. The hospital did not provide detailed ultrasound test results, but only comments such as its great, its perfect. I believe a patient has the right to receive a copy of the test results.Another disappointment is never meeting my doctor in person. My only contact with the doctor was an online interview.I paid double for blood draws and ultrasounds. Prior to engaging treatment the hospital claimed that I could complete blood draws and ultrasounds from a regional clinic closer to our home. But then I was billed for services the hospital did not provide. In summary, I received the worst service combined with an emotional rollercoaster that could have been avoided if the hospital was honest.
Had a fantastic new patient consultation with Dr. Kohlmeier! She was very warm, engaging and knowledgeable. I feel fortunate to move forward under her care along with the entire CCRM team!
We have loved working with CCRM. They care deeply about the work and Dr. Amy is a pleasure to work with!
My husband and I switched from a different clinic to CCRM when we started IVF at the beginning of the year. I cannot emphasize enough just how impressed weve been with our doctor, our nurse (and the nursing team as a whole), and the embryologists—they are outstanding. We never felt like a number, and I fully trusted our doctor with our care. I never once second guessed her opinion or expertise. (Something I did not experience at our first clinic.) Going through IVF is an incredibly stressful process, but at every step along the way, the staff at CCRM made things as uncomplicated and straightforward as possible. We are so grateful and highly recommend CCRM to anyone considering fertility treatment.
We were patients at CCRM for a little over a year. I transferred from a reputable fertility clinic in Philadelphia when I moved. However, CCRM really insisted on more testing. At first I was annoyed, but it has made all the difference for our growing family. They are cautious and strict, which leads to great results. After a successful embryo retrieval and a failed transfer, they were very cautious going forward. I became pregnant after my second transfer. I was well-cared for, on a strict medicine regimen, and they REALLY check up on you! I got to have so many early ultrasounds to assure me everything was fine. My procedures were always smooth and recovery was quick. We love Dr. Salem and our nurse Stephanie! She always got back to me quickly and allowed me to ask 1 million questions. Parking is easy and free too.
Cant recommend enough, every person we came into contact with was wonderful-- especially the blood draw nurse, the procedure nurses and staff and Dr. Dahl and our nurse that walked us through everything Taylor! As a LGBT couple too, we felt nothing but love and caring from start to finish. We had experience with another fertility clinic and had no idea it could be as good as CCRM until we came here for a second option, and I am thrilled that we did, I recommend Dr. Dahl routinely. Through very anxiety ridden moments, heartbreaks and the happiest day of our lives we really wouldnt recommended anyone else.
I’ve waited a long time to write this review because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just reacting emotionally to our results (unsuccessful IVF). We were with CCRM for a year of multiple rounds of IVF. No complaints about Dr. Batcheller except that how everything was run must be tied to someone’s leadership or lack thereof (she was the only doc at the time). Rude and/or disorganized and/or horrible communication was way too common. Passed in between multiple nurses who didn’t know my history. I had to take the lead on next steps even when the whole process was so new and unknown to me. As an example, at one point they started me on the wrong medication schedule - something I had to catch and correct them on. When we got the call that the transfer was unsuccessful, it was a nurse who had never been involved in our case - she coldly told us it was negative and I could stop meds - absolutely zero empathy. I had been going to this clinic for a full year - there were plenty of other nurses we interacted with who were more invested in our journey and who would have been more appropriate people to make the call. I think the clinic does use some of the best science but so much of the process was cold and disorganized. There were a few bright spots - one nurse who I adored, for example. But the bad far outweighed the good. We have one embryo left and there’s no way I would have the transfer done at CCRM again. For the sake of other patients, I hope they’ve improved since my experience there.
This is our second time coming to CCRM after a successful pregnancy the first round. We love them and are excited to be back again! Dr. Kohlmeir is absolutely amazing and so are the nurses, techs and office staff! I would recommend to literally anybody. Our time here has been as easy as can be in this world of fertility related things.
I had a very bad experience with this clinic and the so-called doctor assigned to us, Dr Hanson. He has no regard for us after a failed ivf,but instead he blame it on us that we didnt take the medication the way it was proscribed. He told us in a zoom meeting that the medication was supposed to be taking every day but the instructions that were sent to me by the nurse/nurses says every other day.He was very sweet from the beginning of the process I guess because he wanted to get his money. They have a very bad communication problem from the nurses up to the dr.Theres no way I can do another transfer at ccrm, God for bit. Thanks to Amy and Stephanie, they were very calm and polite.
I am a new patient of Dr. Batchellers, and she and her team have been amazing. I have an infertility condition that onset as a teen, and Ive always had a dream of becoming a mom. I feel like it will be possible with this CCRM Minneapolis team, and my experience has been much better--with greater compassion and clarity from the providers--than at another well known clinic previously.
I was highly recommended to Dr. Batcheller by a friend who conceived through them. I was open to the idea of trying CCRM after several years of trying to do this on my own. Unfortunately, the outcome of my experience was not as pleasing and I had high hopes for this place. First off, I thought the business office had horrible communication with me (or each other). I would call and LVM and never receive a call back. I would then end up emailing only to have my emails forwarded to the same person or number I called (business office is in Colorado). Sometimes, I would hear back from them and when I did, it would take days at a time. Sometimes, I wouldnt even receive any answers especially when I had a lot of questions around finances, insurance, and billing. Second, whenever I had a question for my home nurse, I would call and was always met by a very grumpy receptionist/front desk staff. Mara, who sounded like she had an attitude all the time. It already felt unwelcoming over the phone but I proceeded to meet with Dr. Batcheller. When I went in for my first appointment, I witnessed another patient being asked by the front desk staff for a payment. It was rather awkward. Personally, I thought it shouldve been handled behind closed doors because I wouldnt want them asking me about my finances in front of another person. We all know, these procedures arent cheap and peoples situations are all different. The patients partner had to snap back at the receptionist to back off. Real awkward moment. Third, when I met Dr. Batcheller, she was super nice and friendly. Which I thought to myself, its not too bad after all, its going to be OK. Til I asked her what was a good reason for me to choose CCRM over another clinic. She nonchalantly scoffed and said something like... Same reason any other clinic would tell you to go to them... That was the final straw. I did not feel welcome. I did not feel they were genuine. I did not feel the staff were professional (especially with such a sensitive population) and finally, Dr. Batchellers response was a complete turn off. I did not feel secure with her treating me when it seemed like I was just another number to them.
I was happy the Dr. we chose was nice, understanding and not wanting to persuade us into anything we didnt need. I am new to this process and hesitant, so I held back on my decision for 5 stars. As an update to the review I posted in the beginning of my journey. Id have to lower my stars. While Dr. Batcheller is amazing, the customer service from reception and some of the nurses has been of the worst quality. I havent received any communication about my process, no one calls me directly, they use the patient portal to brush me off. I wish I had a more pleasant experience. Goodluck to all who go through CCRM, I hope your experience is better.
So far my experience has been good. The only feedback I have is that my vitals were taken after my exam. At that point my blood pressure was high and I think that it was high due to my own anxiety through the process. I would recommend that they take vitals before hand. Otherwise I am happy so far.
Personalized approach that combines science with compassion. I cannot thank Dr Salem and all the nurses and staff at CCRM Minneapolis enough for their help. We went to another clinic before coming here. Proceeding with CCRM was the best decision we could ever make. You are a person here not a number and Dr Salem explains things in a way you can understand without speaking down to you. Pregnant on our first try! They do take some insurance so don’t waste time anywhere else. Go where you are given top notch care and encouraged daily! Other clinics may speed up the process but CCRM believes in quality care for you - not anyone else.
My experience has been nothing but outstanding. I have a fertility issue due to the fact of being forced to have my tubes tied because of a previous relationship I was stuck in. I did this to prevent having more children with that person because of the domistic violence I had to get tubes tied. I am a survivor and I found the person i believe I am ment to be with. I have some scaring and issues with my fallopion tubes thst is preventing pregnancy. CCRMN has given me the hope the me and my new partner are able to share this joy together to have a blessing out our together. Our journey thus far has been filled with high hopes and support and clearity. Dr Hanson is very compassionate and very informative and makes his patients really understand this journey and helps with the confusion of it all. Thank you CCRM-MN
I should read the reviews before I scheduled with this, CCRM, clinic. Schedule people, nurses, and doctors are very good, but other is terribly unfriendly, bad, I can’t find a word…. But I’m not regraded to know this type bad experience. I was think to go forward with my doctor who I like, since I takes this person, I think I’ve done. If she is the owner or ceo?
Maybe my experience will be different when I go in. But everyone have talked to acted like robots or borderline nonchalant except the doctor which I liked at first visit. But we al know the team makes the difference. Its been hectic dealing with them.Edit/Update: Dr. Kohlmeier was awesome, so was the nurses that took your blood, some of the OS nurse were brash, and rude but for the most part they tried their best, my nurse team: Andrea and co were amazing. It a tough time in general, but the good people were definitely worth it and more than the ugly ones. I will choose CCRM again
If you have a choice I would recommend you go with a different clinic. You are just a number if you decide to go to CCRM. Their staff is poor with communication and it feels like pulling teeth to get them to anything. They make an already hard and stressful situation even worse. It’s ironic how prompt they are when asking for payment. Go with a different option if at all possible.
I came to CCRM Minneapolis from another fertility clinic and its the best decision I have made to date. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcomed and respected. Dr. Batchellor and her team are amazing. I can not say enough about this clinic and what they do. I would receive responses immediately and always felt like I knew everything I needed too. I do not feel like I have to manage my own treatment here because they know what they are doing. Dr. Batchellor explains everything and takes as much time as you need. I am consistently impressed every apt.
I should start by saying we were blessed to end our CCRM journey with a successful IVF cycle, but I am so torn over my CCRM experience. I have been dealing with infertility for a long time, and have gone through treatments at the 2 other main fertility clinics in the Twin Cities area. Dr. Batchellor was nice, but I talked to her all of 2 times over a course of FIVE MONTHS of treatment. We felt extremely mislead about the CCS embryo testing, as she did NOT explain the implications of doing it - i.e. adding 2+ months to the process and THOUSANDS of more dollars. When I told my nurse I wasnt explained what saying yes to testing truly meant, she actually had the guts to tell me well some people cant handle hearing everything at once. Umm - excuse me? Thats straight up BAD BUSINESS.The business/finance office is a joke - again, I got duped into thinking I had the full amount presented at the beginning, only to hear that the frozen embryo transfer process was an additional $5k + thousands more in medicines. Their response? Well we emailed you all the documents. At the other clinics I went through, we couldnt even START the process unless we met with the billing office to walk through everything. Sending over pages and pages of documents with different versions of numbers and no explanation is also extremely bad business. The front desk girls were rude more often than nice - its as if they have no clue what business theyre in and the sensitivity of every single person who comes in. My last appointment with them was honestly awful - the ultrasound tech was nice, but I had no connect with Dr. Batchellor, and surprise - a moody response from the front desk girl when I asked if there was anything else for me to do. Honestly, after spending nearly $25,000 there and coming in a zillion times over my five month IVF journey (only took 2 months at RMIA, by the way) - I didnt even get a thank you. I got good results, but they have SO much they need to improve on.
Dr. Dahl and her staff are compassionate, honest, helpful, and knowledgeable. They listen to your concerns about the procedures and the medical plan, your life outside the doctor appointments, and the financial aspects and do their best to come up with reasonable approaches to the journey you are taking with them. I can’t recommend them enough.
CCRM Minneapolis is the state of art facility for your reproductive treatments. Dr. Salem is the most amazing, compassionate, and caring human being you would meet. My husband and I had the privilege of working with him and his expertise and talent were top notch in helping us achieve our goal of becoming parents. But beyond that, the human element that he bring into this doctor-patient relationship is the most rewarding part of the experience at CCRM. Every single staff at CCRM Minneapolis cared about our journey and made us feel like we are part of a family that is the there to help and support us. We are forever grateful for the experience at CCRM Minneapolis, and send our most sincere gratitude to Dr. Salem!
This office is extremely organized. Dr. B and her entire staff and super knowledgeable and approachable and explain everything during the whole process. I had nothing but great experiences with a not so happy condition. Dr. B gave me a lot of options and allowed me to be very involved in my treatment planning. I would whole heartedly recommend CCRM of Minneapolis to anyone struggling with infertility!
Both the office staff and Dr. Batcheller were friendly and prompt. The telehealth appointment was by far the easiest one I have ever done, tech wise. I didn’t feel rushed and she answered all my questions. Now I know why two different people I know (who don’t even know one another!) highly recommended her and her clinic.
The staff is incredibly professional and obviously know what they are doing, which is most important. My only complaints are that every time I have had to call, the hold to wait has been a minimum of 5 minutes, and instead of providing all consents and paperwork at the beginning of the process, or even during other appointments throughout, we are required to make an appointment to come in person (a 4 hour drive for us) to sign a single consent.
When you call them no one picks up the phone. You have to leave the message all the time.
I can’t say enough good things about CCRM. From day one, Dr. Batcheller made us feel confident that we could get pregnant and that she is extremely knowledgeable in the field. All of the staff including the front desk girls, our nurse, and the ultrasound staff learned our names and really strived to connect with us. They made us feel like they were invested in our journey too. We had gone to another fertility clinic prior to this and were quoted less than half the success rate that CCRM has and were treated like a number. The two clinics were night and day different. I would recommend going to CCRM hands down for any type of fertility treatment. They truly know what they’re doing!
Dr.Batcheller and her nurses/team are THE BEST! Very knowledgeable and so kind. Dr. Batcheller really focuses on your issues making it patient centered and your treatment plan is down to a fine science. Honestly cannot say enough. My husband and I were sad to leave the team at CCRM when we transitioned to OB.
Update: 1/6/19 - At bottomKeep in mind this comment is from the perspective of a prospective egg donor, not someone who needs IVF services.Ill premise this with the statement that I understand that not everyone fits the criteria for donating and that the company could terminate a potential donor anytime during the process. That being said...Im not happy with the way this company handled things and they are poor at communicating. Overall, very disorganized. I originally sent in my info earlier this year and they didnt get back to me as promised in a month, it was six months later. When I finally arrived for scheduled tests, they nearly turned me away due to having an arm injection (after taking the day off). Nobody told me I needed to have it removed. They had absolutely no qualms sending me away. Anyway, I finally got them to agree to let me go through most of the process minus the test that would check hormone levels since that would be impacted by the injection. They said to call them to schedule an appointment to continue testing after I had it removed and my first period. The day I called (two weeks ago) they told me they were no longer accepting any donors at this time, due to being full. I sent them a letter explaining my frustrations and I got a call from a nurse who then told me the reason they actually rejected me was because I wasnt a viable candidate, not that they were full. So which was it? Who knows at this point. I was told someone would call me back to let me know why and I still heard nothing. So in a nutshell this company is disorganized, doesnt communicate very well, and most likely lied to me. Im disappointed, to say the least. Would not recommend becoming a donor here.-------------------------------------------Update: CCRM followed up with me and apologized profusely for dropping the ball. I was told they had lost some employees and a lot of balls were up in the air at that time, so there were some miscommunications internally. They kindly offered to reimburse me for expenses to get a new arm implant and were extremely apologetic.I appreciate CCRM taking responsibility for their mistake and following up with me.I gave one more star on my review but ultimately I did not have a good experience and it took a while longer than it should have to get it resolved (but it did get resolved, so thank you!)
Dr. April, make sure you understand what going on. I have been through IVF, but she made me understand every step of the way. She is the best I have seen
I saw dr Salem for IVF and he was very compassionate and understanding.... when I got to see him. I had a very difficult medical cycle and was told multiple times he would probably be reaching out, and he never did. I had OHSS and after becoming pregnant had a fairly traumatic miscarriage. I talked to dr Salem a total of 3 times, including our intake and when he did my transfer. Other than when we specifically asked to see him, he saw very hands off in our process. He was even the on call dr the night I was told by a nurse to go to an er due to bleeding during my miscarriage, and still never reached out, despite being told he likely would. I had to call in the following day to talk to my nurse because I had questions....so they were apparently not going to follow up with me like that were supposed to. Other nurses seemed fairly attentive, mine frequently didnt call me back, forgot to call me, and when she did call she called hours past when I was told I would get a call (i.e. I was told I would get a call in 1-2 hours and she called 4-5 hours later, multiple times) He personally reached out to and stopped in to appointments for friends who got pregnant through ivf with him at the same time frame. So it appears you get incredible service and treatment if you are a success. However, if you are not a success, the level of support is not there. Im attempting to transfer to another clinic now and ccrm is dragging their feet in transferring records, just adding salt to the wound.
Dr. Salem is amazing he’s honest he’s probably the best so far in my experience of this journey and let me tell you how many heartaches I’ve had—- oh boy! The staff is amazing and gets it done don’t worry about the price right now worry about who’s hands your life is in!!!!——- UPDATE 10-26-2021———I told you guys this place is awesome! My husband past away and although I have lost him I have received the biggest blessing of having his son! I’m 8 months pregnant today and everything is wonderful so far!!! I wouldn’t trust anyone else! I’m a plus sized girl and over 40 EVERYONE TOLD ME NO- CCRM DOES IT RIGHT!!! And honestly I’m so upset about how much money and time I have wasted in trying to find the right clinic to go to!!!! Oh it’s been hard….. If I had just known about this place before hand I would’ve save so much money in the end because this place actually knows what they are talking about believe me don’t waste your time going somewhere else they are very busy here just be patient with them they know what they are doing!!!!!!! I wish you all success!!!!!
It is really difficult dealing with this clinic. Phone calls hold last over 30 minutes. If you stop by their office wait time is over 15 minutes for check in. The clinics goal is just to extract your insurance money and they are not interested is solving your problem or staff the front office or phone lines or nurses. Legalized loot by doctors
Dr Salem is absolutely amazing and so kind and really cares for his patience. He listens and understands your concerns and feelings. He’s very easy to work with and talk to. I’m proud to be working with him and his clinic!
My experience at the clinic was amazing. The staff were all very communicative and compassionate. I did an IVF cycle with my eggs and then a doner cycle which was successful. Dr Bachellor was informative and clear in which route would provide best chance of success. In particular the nursing staff were fantastic.
Like the last reviewer, we also find it impossible to get hold of Dr. April Batcheller or really anybody on the phone now, which was not the case when we did our first cycle back in 2016. Nobody will return our phone call even if they say they would or if we leave five voice messages. It would certainly appear that the Minneapolis office now has far more patients than the staff can adequately care for. I have been repeatedly told wrong or misleading information (i.e., whether Psych Evaluations from surrogacy agencies are accepted or not even though the agency was recommended to us by CCRM), and the required test items keep changing (two staff will tell us something entirely different and call it a policy change even when I have the emails and the test list they sent to me less than six months ago). Everything is now handled through an email portal (save your records because this portal will lose your old emails), and you may get a reply from just anybody who may or may not know your situation so you have to explain it all over again. This time around, there doesnt appear to be any patient care or patient coordination. We are so disappointed that we are thinking to transfer the embryo to a different clinic. We enjoyed our experience there three years ago but no longer.
Horrific. Donated three times and had severe side effects the third time, 15 pounds weight gain and my problems have worsened over 8 months later. When I told them about this they said they don’t do anything for patients and treated me with such disrespect because I didn’t want to donate again. Still up 10 pounds and have 2 cysts develop and will probably have to have surgery on one. They treat you like a egg machine, give you way too many hormones, don’t explain anything and treat you like they are doing you a favor, not the other way around. If you want to help families, there are much better companies that will pay your way more and treat you like a human.
Absolutely horrendous front office. Never sent us bills and then during visits ask why we arent paying. Had to send previous paperwork in 3-4 times before they ever seem to get it. Worst of all, told us our insurance was in network and we ended up owing thousands of dollars when they told us, Oh, I guess your insurance was not in network. Of course this was after visits and procedures. Highway robbery.
Going here was difficult because of the situation. The front office staff lacks empathy and understanding. The back office staff did their best. Overall they did not use medication to help improve my situation. We did two trials without any increased medication to improve my chances. This is a very expensive procedure and the fact that they did it twice without increasing my chances and took a lot of my money was very upsetting. The third trial they did use medication and increase my chances. The reason I am upset is because I spent two trials and thousands of dollars when this should have been done the first time. Dr. April batcheller Is very kind but shes very difficult to get ahold of because her time is so valuable. Which can be frustrating. Overall if you have the money to spend this is the place for you.
The entire staff is so incredibly welcome, friendly and kind! They have top notch technology and do what they can to help you create or grow your family. The research behind their knowledge of infertility is so far advanced than other’s and it shows with their outcome numbers. CCRM Minneapolis is beyond measure in their field!!
The doctors and nurses here are fantastic. Dr Batcheller is knowledgeable, warm and highly skilled. The difference here is their embryology testing and success rates. IVF is very stressful but the staff here keeps you very informed and they do what they can to make the process a little easier on you.
The nurses and staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable. They are friendly and fun and I feel so well taken care of even in the most uncomfortable OBGYN situations.
Dr. Batchellor and her staff are simply wonderful. Now that Ive moved on - because Im pregnant - we miss them all and wish we could find an OB/midwife that we like nearly as much! I cant recommend them highly enough.
Dr. B has been an amazing champion for us through tour infertility journey. Their team has always been welcoming accommodating and easy to work with. I 100% recommend them for IVF or gestational carrier care.
Not a great experience here. Has a stellar reputation but thats not what I experienced. Additionally Ive been waiting THREE MONTHS for a refund of thousands of dollars thats impeding me from seeking care at another clinic. Just really check out the entire practice and ask a lot of questions before you decide to seek care here.
DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC! I was donating my eggs through CCRM Minneapolis and they gave me a positive HIV test and told me this over the phone. They then suspended my retrieval without running further tests and just referring me to the infectious diseases clinic at the U of M. I was tested there and was told that I have NO HIV in my blood at all and in fact was given a FALSE POSITIVE! Then they started sending me bills that I owe money to them for all of the treatments that went with donating. I had issues with the nurses communicating from day one and when I contact their offices regarding the bills, they give me the run around and state that their vice president will get in touch with me tomorrow and then when they dont and I call again I get the same story. I STRONGLY urge anyone looking to donate to look elsewhere. You are a number to them and when they error they charge you for it.
We were able to achieve our dream of having a child together because of CCRM, the staff was amazing and helpful. We are engaging them again to try for another child!
This place is amazing. The doctors are experts- I was impressed with their knowledge, research, technology. The nurses and staff felt like my friends cheering me on each step of the way. They were all very patient with questions- and prompt with their communication and replies. So grateful for them.
Dr Dahl and everyone we have worked with at CCRM have been so great! We have received excellent care and service. I highly recommend CCRM to anyone looking for fertility help!
This is my second time being a surrogate and have had the most wonderful experience from the staff during both processes. Communication is off the charts. You truly feel like they care. Wonderful place all around.
Staff are very nice. If you want to know more details about one of your exams or questions about financing options, theyre very helpful.
They don’t even answer the phone or return voicemails and their emails bounce back. What the hell is going on?
Starting to feel like this place lacks organization and communication skills.. you be hard-pressed to get somebody to call back to give you clear instructions or to confirmed information on your care..
Great Customer Service! From Dr.Batcheller, To Dr.Salem to the entire staff great customer service , great communication I would recommend CCRM ! We were treated with respect and always had explanation on any of our questions! Thank you CCRM!!
The scheduling is difficult as they are only open until noon on Friday and you would hope to see your RE more but CCRM REs are really busy so you can only see them every couple of months and your main interactions happen only with the nurse which is a bummer (though I love my nurse, would love to see the doctor more often!)
Need any fertility work done or just general medical for those nether parts, can’t beat theses folks. Fast, upfront with costs, and they care about their work. Keep it up.
Had the most BEAUTIFUL experience with Dr. Dahl. Very thorough explaining options. I am so thankful we did this before making any rash decisions.
I’m reading all the reviews and really want to know is there a weight limit to get help and question ms answered I’m 26 and NOT LOOKING FOR IVF MORE OF THE IUI stuff is there any limits to receiving testing from you guys.
So far this experience seems good. First appointment the doctor was a little late coming on. Love that this was a telehealth appt.
Ive worked with CCRM for years and have been so pleased with them. The doctors and staff are professional, kind, and make science-backed recommendations.
Their level of customer service is top notch. Theyre simply nice people and make it much easier of an overall process.
Poor service and inaccurate result report.
The nurses and doctors are amazing! I’ve had a great experience here. I definitely recommend CCRM!
Very attractive clinic
I called them to make an appointment the lady of the front desk she gave me attitude I simply asked her a question which she should answered easily she was kind a pathetic if she can’t handle simple question she shouldn’t be there and I decided to take my service different place what a waste!
Staff is polite and informative. I was early, and got in before my scheduled time.
The staff at CCRM are very friendly and efficient! Highly recommend!
Do not go! We started there and it was a terrible experience. So unprofessional and only about the money.
Amazing place. Very friendly and helpful!
Appointment went fast, very professional people
Theyre so kind and amazing!
Waste of time and money. Will not recommend it.
Horrible judgmental and dishonest ...avoid at all costs
Thank you, clean place and friendly faces.
Excellent experience
