We just got home with our newborn son, who we have thanks to IVF at CRM. We went through several IUIs and two IVF implantations. It took a couple of years, but here we are.The staff was almost always great and the clinic is clean and comfortable. We worked with Dr. Casey who was always supportive and willing to take extra time to explain things to us.Our son is beautiful. Thanks CRM.

I had a great experience here with Dr. Hopeman, from freezing my eggs back in 2019 when I was single to successfully getting me pregnant in 2024! Dr. Hopeman is so kind, calming, and reassuring. IVF is a long process and most of your interactions at this clinic will be with nursing staff. CRM splits the obgyn monitoring and fertility treatment portion of care into two companies as well so it’s easier to get obgyn codes covered by insurance here than at other places. CRM is also not private equity owned like CCRM (which seems to have adopted very predatory prices and billing practices during its last acquisition), so it aims to keep prices more reasonable than its competitor. There’s some room for improvement on communication at CRM- I had a poor experience with my finance person originally not being willing to bill my insurance for claims that were covered, as well as her taking weeks to reply to my phone calls and emails. I also found her professionalism to be very poor. However, I did get pregnant from CRM, and plan to come me back here for my second kid. Although lots of their administrative issues need to be worked out, the medical care itself is good. I can’t wait to welcome my little one in December of 2024 thanks to CRM!

Their lack of communication has really decreased my faith in this clinic. They mislabeled my blood sample with my spouse’s for genetic testing. They redrew his & never called to tell me mine needed to be redone. I was only told after I CALLED the genetic testing company & they told me what happened.... I don’t even have confidence these people will label my embryos correctly. I wouldn’t come here if my VA benefits didn’t force me to. The providers didnt order enough medications for me from the start so it has been a great challenge to drive to Minneapolis every single day for an appt, told its trigger day, get a call FROM a nurse and them telling me to come back tomorrow for another ultrasound, and then drive back to scavenge around Minneapolis for more medication at 8pm. And then the nurses refusing to allow me to talk to Dr. Kapfhamer, well Im his nurse and hes just gonna tell you the same thing so Ill tell him ur cancelling- Lisa Conway. He is my provider and I want to make informed decisions about my body. I am greatly disappointed in how this clinic functions. The lack of communication between patients and the Provider is disheartening and costs greats amount of money at the Patients expense. If you can help it, go anywhere else for your ART services. I promise you will save so much more money in the end result.

CRM is hands-down the best fertility clinic in the Twin Cities. I had previously spent a lot of time and money at CCRM and thankfully switched over to CRM. Here are the some differences:-CRM has no unnecessary unbillable fees. CCRM charges a $300 monitoring fee per IUI cycle that is not billable. CRM does not!-CRM does not have ungodly hold times when trying to call the clinic.-Dr. Kapfamer has a fantastic science-based approach that also takes in the person. I really appreciated his friendly and open approach and he really took the time to answer all of my questions.-After an ultrasound, the nurse comes to talk over the results and the plan right away. At CCRM, you have to wait for a call. Its so nice to have the discussion right away.-Personal side-note - CCRM now BLASTS country music, its really nice to go to a clinic that does not assault me with the Honky Tonk Badonkadonk song, lol.

I’m extremely disappointed with this clinic. After verbally instructing them to discard my embryo a year ago, I was still billed for another year of storage. To make matters worse, they offered me options to donate it after telling me I had little to no chance of using it myself. This lack of communication and respect for my decisions is unacceptable. Avoid this clinic if you value professionalism and transparency.

Many of us end up at CRM after we’ve lost trust in our bodies ability to do what we think it should, or when we’ve lost faith we can achieve our reproductive goals. It can be scary going somewhere unknown for something we haven’t experienced before that a lot of people are private about their experiences with. In my experience, CRM made me feel really safe when I’d started losing faith.Everyone at CRM made me feel heard, understood, and taken care of. By everyone I mean the staff who answer your calls, the office staff, the ultrasound techs and phlebotomists you’ll likely end up seeing A Lot during your time as a patient, the embryologists/lab staff, finance folks, and of course the doctors and nurses. They all make the emotional processes of evaluating, diagnosing, treating/plan implementing, and, in our case, achieving a successful pregnancy via IVF, as pleasant an experience as I can imagine. One you can figure out. One you can handle. One that in my experience you won’t ever have wished you started later than you did.

Dr. Kapfhamer is great. He understands how frustrating infertility is. He was prepared and took the time to talk through what went well with the last cycle, what didnt, and our options if we wanted to continue with another cycle. There was no pressure and he left plenty of time for any questions we had. If considering CRM and planning to use insurance be aware that their billing department is not as great, we are continuing with CRM because of the great medical team, but we have been very frustrated with the billing issues, unwillingness of CRM to fix the billing issues, and rude financial coordinator. Two months after everything cleared with insurance and and insurance representative left a message with CRM with contact information if they disagree CRM stated that it isnt resolved and they refuse to work it out with my insurance company. They are still saying they disagree about coverage agreed upon and that they hold credits until 90 days after the last cycle unless someone demands a refund and its a several week process. If you are concerned about money or ethics try someplace else to see if you can find someplace with a good medical team and decent administrative and billing.

Thank you, CRM! You are the reason I have my 2 year old child. I am beyond grateful to you. I waffled between a four and a five but generally speaking, I couldn’t ask for much more in a fertility clinic. The only reason I would put a four is that most patients coming to CRM, I imagine, are already nervous, anxious and overwhelmed. It is already difficult and sometimes I find that they make weird decisions (weird to me but probably are their process / protocol). Waiting is one of the worst parts of infertility and with our current FET cycle, we had a two or three month delay after something that ended up being nothing and to top it all off, it wasn’t even our fault. Because of that, they cancelled all our appointments (for an April FET). I would have appreciated them waiting until post procedure with my OB to ensure something was wrong before doing this. I was very upset. We will now be doing an FET in June. I know things happen and they have standard practices, but this was pretty triggering. Patients are YEARNING for spots in their schedule so I couldn’t imagine waiting just a week or two would have lost them the ability to fill those spots. This being said, the reason for the five is definitely warranted. Given our situation, we have been so fortunate to be able to afford and carry out growing our family thanks to CRM. We have not been to any other clinics but I would recommend Dr Casey and Dr Hopeman all day long. Dr. Casey is our primary specialist and Dr Hopeman ended up being on the day of our transfer during our first cycle. I had to skip IUIs due to our situation (scarred / missing tubes) and it was clear to us and our OB that the only way to grow our family was through IVF.I have found the RNs to be helpful in general as well as short but I haven’t had any issues. I will say the RNs seem very detail oriented which is great if you’re like me and want to have all the information. Our first cycle in 2020 (mid pandemic), CRM didn’t have any portal so it was beyond annoying to wait around for result calls or having to call them. I was really happy to hear they have one now (I am a Designer and the user experience of their portal sucks but at least it works for quick questions here or there). The RNs have gotten back to me generally within hours. I’ve been extremely happy with that.I recommend Dr Casey, Dr Hopeman and CRM to anyone that might be looking for some help taking the next step. Having that first consult with Dr Casey back in 2020 sincerely made my husband and I feel so much better. You got this, my friend!Update: January 2024 - We are successfully pregnant with our second due to Dr. Casey and teams unwavering assistance throughout 2023. It was a long, windy road but again, so successful. Im so thankful and grateful for the team at CRM.

First appointment with this clinic was very pleasant considering the circumstances! The provider knew my history overall and had looked at labs prior so we could discuss options and plans which means a lot. I recently had the privilege of attending a new patient consultation with Dr. Hopeman, a renowned IVF specialist, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked into her office, I could sense her genuine care and dedication to her patients well-being.Dr. Hopemans willingness to take the time to thoroughly explain the entire IVF procedure was truly commendable. She left no stone unturned, providing a detailed overview of each step, the potential challenges we might face, and the success rates associated with various approaches. Her expertise was evident, and she effortlessly demystified the complex process, leaving me feeling much more informed and reassured.Throughout the consultation, Dr. Hopeman proved herself to be incredibly approachable and accommodating. She made sure to pause and respond to any questions that arose. Her patience in addressing queries, no matter how trivial they might have seemed, demonstrated her commitment to ensuring that we felt fully informed and empowered in our decision-making.Leaving the consultation, I felt better prepared and supported as we embark on this journey. This new patient consultation with Dr. Hopeman was an immensely positive experience. Her helpfulness, dedication to detail, empathy, and exceptional bedside manner surpassed all expectations. Dr. Casey is hard working and is really dedicated to her patients. With the amount of patients she sees I find that when she is talking to her patients or in the room with them she is really present. She listens to her patients and takes the time with them. For the most part the rest of the staff is kind especially the nurses and knowledgeable about their jobs. The only complaint I have is that the supporting staff front desk and some lab techs have forgotten to be find to the people that walk through the doors. At first, the doc meets with you at the beginning. They come to greet you personally. After your initial work up, you never talk to them again; it’s just the nurses. I had trouble filling a prescription after my egg retrieval; the doc didn’t even call me back. And he’d just done surgery on me a few hours prior. I had to sort it out. The nurses did a wonderful job until yesterday. My second egg retrieval cycle was cancelled due to weight related reasons with no empirical backing. I was weighed and kicked out. My doctor would not speak to me. Not to mention I have embryos frozen and now I have no idea what will happen to them. There was zero discussion of what will happen to them or any options I have going forward. Literally, the nurse just told me to lose weight and walked me out. My weight has been fluctuating 50 pounds due to all the dieting, metabolic syndrome, and the hormones. The pressure to be thin and constantly trying to drop weight is not good for my fertility either. Body shaming and fat phobia in the fertility and pregnancy care aspects of healthcare need to STOP!

We pay so much money to go through cycles so we want to know what were going to do, correct? But I could not ask questions to nurses comfortably at all.2. The person who called me for scheduling. This lady called me several times to schedule some stuff prior to the cycle. She doesnt sound friendly AT ALL, and she got grumpy voice. She even doesnt know where to transfer me when I ask to transfer me to the Nurse line. I asked her to do it 2 times, and both times she transferred me to someones mail box which asks me to enter the mailbox number. We should have been smarter about choosing our fertility clinic. I am so sad writing this that it wasnt until we switched clinics we realized how neglectful this clinic was. My husband and I had our consult with Dr. Casey, after she was recommended by a friend. During our consult she identified my issue of infertility was that I was not ovulating (before tests) and said that she was going to do some blood work. After a couple of timed intercourse cycles, we were recommended to try IUI. I became pregnant my first cycle of IUI and miscarried at 8 weeks. Once I was healed from the D & C, I was told I could continue with more cycles. I had some insurance coverage. After 6 IUIs I met with Dr. Casey and, after consulting with a fertility specific therapist, asked if my AMH levels were ever looked at or if I had an HSG. It was ONLY THEN those tests were ordered, which showed a problem in one of my tubes. When I spoke with her in person she said everything looked great, but when I got the medical records she indicated there was inflammation in the tube which may indicate something. I switched to my current clinic, which I cant say enough about. They did the same procedure and it revealed blockage in one of my tubes, which caused issues with implantation and miscarriage. Now Im fighting with my insurance to get back the cycles that I wasted at CRM due to the negligence of the clinic and Dr. Casey. This isnt fair. Do not go here. There are other clinics with better reputations that treat patients better and truly care. Im more than open for a call from CRM if they so choose.

Take the negative reviews on here seriously. This clinic can be an extremely and unnecessarily stressful place. Staff are stressed and in a hurry. I suspect its due to a bad work culture and poor leadership, which sucks for them, and sucks for the patients when they misunderstand or make impactful mistakes. Most interactions I had here w nurses were stressful, and had a tone of blaming and finger-pointing over simple communication and info.

We had to be our own advocate at every step of the IUI process. Some nurses are great and some made mistakes that nearly made us miss a cycle or more. Doesnt seem like the whole staff understands how delicate and expensive this process is. Getting answers in a timely manner became our job-- especially hard when the pregnant one in our marriage works a 9-5, since CRM has no evening or weekend support and cannot provide help by email. Things did improve after this public complaint but we had to insist on speaking only to our doctor or an affiliated nurse for any questions. We are happy to say the IVF process went much better, but we cant say if thats a clinic-wide improvement all at the same time (late 2021) or if IUI and IVF clients are still treated differently.

CRM appeared good at first. My husband and I were thoroughly tested to try uncover the underlying fertility issues. After that part was completed and treatment began I never saw my doctor, Dr. Jaffe, and my treatment appeared routine and like a blanket treatment for everyone. I was never checked in on after a failed iui and consulted with for the next plan of action or an aggressive next step but was just ordered to do the same thing the first time around. We paid for something in full once when the insurance covered it completely and then was given a hard time to get reimbursed. I finally decided to switch doctors and requested my records. Come to find out after reading my records my doctor has indicated things in my file that we did as treatment that we NEVER did. So shes obviously got too many patients that she is confusing them or not keeping up with proper notes. What topped everything off was that about a month after requesting my records I get a bill in the mail now for somethimg else entirely different that again wasnt done with me during my treatment with them. In trying to get a hold of someone in billing was another headache because no one ever answered my phone call or returned my call. It took three weeks before I got a person on the phone that just told me they will look into and call me back. I truly hope they rectify this because if not, to me that looks like insurance fraud. So disappointed with CRM. Im happy I switched doctors where I feel like Im getting my individualized care.

Yes, dealing with infertility can be very stressful and no, we dont expect our medical provider to hold our hands through all of the emotions. But we do expect to be treated with professionalism, an openness to questions that enables us to receive medical advice in a way that keeps us informed of our health, and some minimal level of respect as a human being as opposed to being treated as a number. While CRM is competent technically and may be able to help you, they fall short of these standards. Our first and only meeting with the doctor was great. All following visits were with a nurse, some of whom are good, but most of whom speak too quickly for us to understand clearly and give the impression that questions are unwelcome. The outmoded, entirely phone-based communications system also makes it difficult to ask questions; never was our call answered, so wed end up playing phone tag, receiving a partial answer to our question by voice mail and having to decide if it was worth annoying them with a follow-up call. With that said, they did successfully help us to become pregnant, which is of course what we care about more than anything else.Unfortunately, spotting and cramping started. We called and received a voice mail back saying to call again if the bleeding became heavier, as that would be a more-serious sign. We didnt know what serious meant and, again, didnt feel welcome to ask whether it meant likely miscarriage but nothing can be done or likely miscarriage and steps can be taken urgently to mitigate the risk or at what point it would become your health is in danger; go to the ER.Well, on a Saturday at 9pm the bleeding became heavy, so we did what we were told and called; we explained the situation to the operator, who then made the decision to page Dr. Casey. Never before have we been spoken to by a doctor in such an unabashedly annoyed and condescending manner. Here my wife was crying, worried shes going to lose another baby or worse, seeking medical advice, and now she had to deal with being talked down to for wasting her doctors time.Setting aside the lack of basic decency, we still were not informed of how to recognize the severity of the situation (in contrast, upon contacting another clinic, without asking we were immediately told how much bleeding would constitute an emergency). Had the situation worsened, we would have hesitated to seek medical care, not wanting to be scolded for overreacting. You should think of CRM as a business capable of conducting a transaction, not as doctors committed to some higher professional purpose.

I came here one time for a referral, and it turned me off enough for my husband and I to consider other--ANY OTHER--fertility methods. I felt like I simply another person to be ushered through their process, given stacks of paper to sign off on, set up a payment plan, and all for no guarantee of anything at the end of it all. I suppose Ive held onto the sentimental aspects of fertility, but this place strips any emotion or sentiment out of the process. Its a hollow, sterile environment where I didnt feel like anyone truly cared about me or my history. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, but thats about the extent of any positivity I picked up here.

My husband and I got referred here for an IUI over the weekend since the clinic I go to, is closed during the weekend. The area is nice and clean. I was skeptical of this place after looking at reviews but it went really well. Nurse technician was awesome (I forgot her name) she made us really comfortable and talked about the whole process thoroughly with checking our names and date of birth just to make sure it was us. Plus how she did the procedure was pain free, it actually was so smooth compared to my first IUI which was painful! I did an IUI the first time at my current clinic and they don’t tell us anything so it was nice that this clinic actually let you know your results. So far so good.

Im really upset with this clinic. We were so excited to go. We got approached at our first appt but a very rude receptionist. Figured thats ok, she is having a bad day. Then we met with the Dr. He was amazing! Loved the Dr. Go and have our labs drawn. The technician cant find my vein after the needle is in my arm. So she needs to stick me again in the other arm. Fast forward to 2 days later. Got a vm that they ran the wrong test on my husband in error and it came back abnormal. So we called back and left a voicemail. Got a call back the next day and got the test results. Lady was really nice, thought we were on the right track. One hour later got a call back from a different nurse. She was so incredibly rude and didnt understand why she was calling me. Then proceeded to tell me that they were a reproductive endocrinologist, then asked me what made me think that they would need to treat my husband. I asked her for a referral. She proceeded to tell me that they were a month out. Ok fine. Asked for the phone number. She placed me on hold and provided the phone number and had a bit of a attitude. Now Im just getting more and more irritated. The dr called me the next day and went over everything with me. Experience was a little bit after that. I honestly, dont know if I will go back. I follow a 3 strike your out rule and they hit 3 strikes within my first 3 experiences with them. The stars in this review are for the dr and the experience I had with him.

We started working CRM with Dr. Kapfhamer on December 15th, everything seemed to go smooth, although we never talked to him after December 15th. Our cycle failed and the second time we connected with him was for him to tell us it failed. In that moment you have many things going through your head. I called back the next day (today) and in order to talk to him again, I need to make an appointment which is a few weeks out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? This company is only in it for the money and doesnt actually care about helping. He didnt do the egg retrieval or the transfer. At no point were we told we wouldnt have any contact with him, and if we had questions wed have to wait weeks to connect. For a process that is already stressful the bedside manners should be a given, but no.. lets push things out weeks.

If you have read the other negative reviews, ditto everything. In addition, if you move and have your embryos frozen there, but prepared for a stressful battle. Because of them not returning calls and not sending my medical file to my new clinic in St. Louis, we have had to postpone our frozen IVF cycle. They need to get their act together. They were the same when we were patients there. I really want to give them 3 stars (because we had a successful IVF cycle with them), but I just cant. Our doctor couldnt even manage to tell us the gender of our embryo correctly after transferring it. We thought we were having a girl until our first regular ultra sound that could confirm the gender...seriously. And early on when my husband and I did our genetic testing, our doctor got in my face because my husband didnt want to review his results if there werent any major red flags. In THE MOST condescending voice, she said Well, maybe he doesnt understand. I can explain to him how genetics work I informed her that my husband has a PhD in GENETICS, so I think he gets it. If you choose to go here, just know you will rarely be able to get in touch with anyone, and at every visit they will not be able to answer your questions because you chart is paper...not on a computer at all. So weird.

As I am writing this review I am sitting with my baby girl. This time last year we decided to do IVF and because of 60% (or so) average sucess rates (this clinic is actually higher than the average) we decided to do the Attain program. It worked the first time! My pregnancy went smooth as can be. Dr. Campbell was our doctor and was wonderful and funny! Since the doctors worked with a team I also saw Kuneck and Damario for the retrieval and implantation. I also talked to Damario one night on the help line when I had a question about my HCG shot. He called back promptly and settled my nerves.I would recommend this clinic.

Very helpful and supportive staff. We now have a healthy, vibrant 2 year old boy. We did the 3 round ivf package (attain program) and were successful on round #2. Thanks again CRM. Edit March 2018: I can understand why some folks are frustrated. Infertility is the most stressful thing that can happen to anyone. I feel terrible for folks who were not successful. We have been there and it hurts like nothing else. We had one goal only, deliver a healthy baby. That was accomplished. Hence the 5 star rating.

Terrible policy and bedside manner. My husband and I felt like they were trying to sell us a used car instead of talking about options for fertility. We didnt feel like we had choices or an option, and spent more time in the office with the financial coordinator than we did with the nurse or DR. And she made jokes about people bringing in literal bags of cash to pay for their treatments. Like it was a funny and normal thing for people to sell all their posessions just to be able to afford their treatment. They also require all money upfront with no exceptions, and refuse to bill insurance. Completely rediculous and made me feel sad and discouraged instead of hopeful.

This is a review that I should have written a long time ago. I read some of the other reviews and felt the need to post. My husband and I worked with CRM, specifically Dr. Kuneck. We selected a donor back in Jun 2007 and started the process. I was 45 years old and recently married. Sept 2007 we had transfer #1 that did not take. Transfer #2 in November was frozen and also did not take. Dr. Kuneck sat down with us and ran through all the numbers. He said he normally did not recommend this but in our case, he made an exception and recommended we move to a different donor for our last try. March 2008 was our 3rd and final try. Out of 4 embryos, two looked good so both were transferred. In November 2008, at the age of 46, I gave birth to boy/girl twins. They were both 7 lbs each. I had no complications during pregnancy, felt great and the babies did not spend any time in the NICU. Everyones journey is personal but I am very thankful for CRM for helping us to achieve and carry this pregnancy. I also believe that the six months of two times a week acupuncture is what made my body ready and my immune system strong (Eastern medicine says fertility is in the kidneys (which is your immune system)).

My wife and I started going here about 3 or 4 months ago. When we first started going there it seemed like they genuinely cared about us and our want to have a child. But soon after their whole attitude changed. My wife would go in for bloodwork and they wouldnt call back with the results and then when she would theyd put her on hold several times and even once couldnt find the results! Wed ask the doctors all these questions and the answers always.... well, well have to wait and see and well know more later. Then, they call her telling her on a Frdiay right before they close and leave a message saying she might have an ectopic pregnancy and so if she feels pain she should go to the ER...nothing else like come in Monday or you can reach a nurse/doctor at this number. As I said it seems as though all they cared about was getting as much money out of us as they could without actually having to treat us. There are other reproductive clinics in the city that would be much better options. Stay away from this place!

The clinic is working in the capacity as a satellite clinic as were treating with a clinic overseas. CRM is supposed to be able to receive our overseas physicians prescription (which are in English) and send them to the pharmacy here for those medications we take prior to travel and treatment. Twice now these have been wrong, and in this recent mistake, the medication was purchased and brought home before their error was found. Avoid if you can.
