We had a wonderful experience with Coastal Fertility! We would not have our miracle girl if it wasn’t for Dr. McLaughlin. The nurses are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. The doctors are professional and it’s apparent they want the best for you during your fertility journey. You definitely feel like part of the family and not just another patient walking through their door.
Our experience at Coastal was fantastic! Dr. Schnorr was so kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Helped us conceive and welcome our double rainbow baby! 💙 The office feels welcoming and comforting. After years of moving through typical OBGYN offices, it was nice to be in a location that didn’t feel so sterile and medical! Hannah was lovely to work with as well, she was always quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. Which, if you’re dealing with infertility, you know makes all the difference! Everyone at Coastal was empathetic, kind, and great at their job! Highly recommend!!
Ive been going to CFS for 4 years now. I love my doctors and nurses. Fertility is awful and I wouldnt wish it on anyone. My nurse Kelly and Doctor McLaughlin have made my experience much better. Dr McLaughlin is kind and knowledgable. Kelly is ALWAYS on top of it. All of the other staff are amazing as well. I do wish that they had a better user interface. Other clinics in the area have a much better online billing system and online portal. I also wish they had more resources for support groups, referrals for therapists, etc. Just found this flyer somewhere unrelated to CFS and thought I’d share!
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Coastal. After 17 years of infertility, I went to Coastal and we received our IVF miracle on June 29, 2024 at 11:14 am. Our Edie Raine has brightened our lives and the team at Coastal was nothing short of amazing on this journey to her. Dr. Schnorr and Dr. Cook both played a hand in our miracle and did so with such compassion. We will forever thank Coastal Fertility and recommend them.Dustin & Amanda Cobb
While the infertility journey is certainly challenging, it provided us so much comfort to be under the care of Dr Cook. And it was truly that… care! Everyone from the nurses to the ultrasound techs cared about me, my journey, my body, my outcome… which I’m happy to say after a long road, our little miracle baby is healthy and happy in our arms thanks to Coastal Fertility and Dr Cook! Would 10/10 recommend!
What can I say....Our journey with Coastal Fertility and Dr. Cook has been nothing short of miraculous. Dr. Cooks unwavering dedication and compassionate care made all the difference during a challenging time, guiding us with expertise and empathy every step of the way. Despite the trials we faced, their commitment and resolve turned our dreams into reality. We are profoundly grateful for their exceptional support and cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone on a similar path. Thank you to the entire team and esp to Dr. Cooks leadership :)
Our experience at Coastal Fertility was very positive. The doctors and nurses are extremely knowledgeable and passionate in their work. Our journey lasted for a couple of years as we worked through some uncertainties that brought us to Coastal Fertility. Both my doctor and nurse were nothing short of amazingness. They are very thorough in their work! I strongly recommend Coastal Fertility.
Great experience with the whole team at Coastal! Dr. Schnorr was so compassionate and knowledgeable. Our nurse, Paige, was incredible with communication during the whole process. I am now 13 weeks and 3 days and cannot wait to meet our baby girl! Thank you to everyone at Coastal for all of the hard work you do!
Dr Snhnorr and his team were absolutely amazing! We have been trying for 5 years before coming here and they have been so supportive through the whole journey and now we have a 2 month old little boy who we love so much and is our whole world. We would not have had him if it was not for them! I can not thank you all enough for everything you do!
Walking into Coastal Fertility for (hopefully) the last time today was so bittersweet! I am thrilled to have graduated for the second time and for my husband and I to close this chapter of our lives, but I can’t help but be sad too! The infertility journey is not an easy one, but I felt so taken care of and loved by Dr. Cook and the entire coastal team these past 2.5 years. I also can’t say enough great things about my nurses Lauren Reese and Brooke Rawdon who were so kind and helpful during the most difficult and emotional times. Coastal will always be family to us and we can’t thank them enough for making us parents to the most perfect little girl and second baby on the way!
We are so thankful for CFS and all the staff. We were seen in the Nexton and Mount Pleasant offices and each office welcomes you in as family. They genuinely care and support your needs. Dr. McLaughlin and Nurse Lauren R are absolutely amazing and just a phone call away. We will be forever grateful that we were in their care. They go above and beyond and I would recommend Coastal to anyone that needs support growing their family. Thank you for the being the best.
Coastal Fertility has taken a huge part in restoring our hope and helping us get our little family started. The staff is phenomenal and Dr. Cook is absolutely amazing! We cannot say enough great things! We are so thrilled that we chose Coastal Fertility!
We can’t say enough about how amazing Dr. McLaughlin and her team at Mt. Pleasant are as well as the team at the Savannah, GA office. And don’t let me forget about my amazing nurse Cari Mercer! She helped me so much every step of the way. After 5 years of unexplained infertility, we found our answers quickly once we started seeing Dr. Mclaughlin and we are so grateful to finally be pregnant after IVF with two retrievals and one embryo transfer. We highly recommend Dr. McLaughlin and Coastal Fertility for anyone who is searching for their answers. We are so thankful for them and so excited for our new future.
I’ve been a patient with Coastal Fertility as a donor since the beginning of this year and I don’t have a single bad thing to say. I did my research before starting the process and found this clinic/staff to be more thorough, responsive, & kind than the clinics located much closer to me. Tiffany & Jordan have made my donor process seamless from beginning to end, even though l live several hours away. Highly encourage checking them out :)
I loved working with Coastal Fertility Specialists. From the girls in the lab, to the nurses, and doctors all around everyone was 5 stars. Tiffany and Jordan were amazing with communication and answering any and all questions. I would recommend Coastal Fertility Specialists to anyone trying to complete their family, the care and compassion from this clinic is exceptional.
I have many good things to say about Coastal Fertility Specialists! Everyone that I have encountered with at both the Mt. Pleasant and Nexton locations have been amazing. Dr. Riestenberg is a wonderful doctor and so is Dr. McLaughlin. The amount of care and understanding they show is unlike any other doctors office I’ve been to. My nurse Paige is hands down the best and is always so quick to respond to my 36782 emails I send daily and answer all my questions. Tiffany and Jordan are great as well! This journey is definitely a hard and emotional one but I know I’m in the right place here at CFS to achieve my dream! Thanks everyone at CFS for all you do! I would highly recommend going to CFS for your IVF journey.
Now if I was rating my doctors and staff alone, this would be an easy 5 star rating. Dr. McLaughlin was so caring and supportive throughout our entire journey with unexplained infertility. She was patient, answered all of our questions, and always provided us with as many options as possible when making decisions each cycle. We worked through medicated cycles, IUIs, and our IVF cycle and are finally 13 weeks along with our rainbow baby. I can’t thank all of the staff enough for all they did to help us get to this point! Everyone in the office was beyond kind and we were always in and out of appointments quickly. Thank you CF staff for all you’ve done for us!!I took one star away because we really struggled with the financial department. In the end, with the help of Dr. McLaughlin, we were able to get everything sorted out but it all could have been avoidable had my initial financial counselor been more upfront about what things to charge and not charge to insurance (she happened to no longer work there soon before we got hit with a surprise almost $8K bill). Thankfully the financial department was able to correct this error thanks to Shannon, but with going through IVF that extra stress definitely was not helpful.
Dr. McLaughlin and nurse Neely, along with the other CFS physicians and staff, go above and beyond to make you feel safe and comfortable from the initial appointment, to procedures, to early pregnancy. They are a rock (especially nurse Neely) when things seem overwhelming or scary. So thankful to CFS for our precious IVF baby.
We cannot speak highly enough of Coastal Fertility Specialists. When we attempted to start a family, we discovered that both my husband and I had fertility issues. Thanks to Dr. Schnorr and his staff, I had my first baby girl at age 39 and now at age 43 I am expecting another baby after successful IVF. This is not a typical doctors office experience by any means- questions are encouraged and promptly answered and they have treated us with such kindness, at a cost that is presented clearly at the beginning of the process. The embryology lab is also top notch and very communicative regarding embryo quality questions, thawing, etc. The best thing that ever happened to us was getting a referral to Coastal Fertility so we could have a family.
My husband and I started our IVF journey in Aug of 2022. We started with Dr. Slowey (who sadly retired while we were under his care) and then ended with Dr. McLaughlin. Our journey wasnt the easiest and we definitely hit some unexpected speed bumps along the way, but in the end we were blessed with a healthy and happy baby boy in May of 2024. We owe it all to the team at Coastal and are forever grateful for their expertise and care. They were kind and informative throughout our year with them! I especially fell in love with the triage of nurses that work in the front, as I was there so often, they felt like family in the end. We also saw Dr. Cook on a few occasions and cannot say enough great things about her and Dr. McLaughlin. Thank you for making us parents and giving us the greatest blessing! XOXO!
Everything about my experience at Costal Fertility was phenomenal. I cannot thank Dr. Slowey for the birth of my daughter in 2020 and Dr. Cook for the birth of son in 2024. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the loving care the staff provided me during my journey with infertility. Our family is now complete. I would like to thank the knowledgeable staff and Doctors at Coastal Fertility. We are beyond blessed. I would recommend Costal Fertility for anyone that is looking for a Fertility Clinic to expand their family.
I have only wonderful things to say about Coastal Fertility. Infertility is difficult and highly sensitive, and they address it with expertise and empathy. The office itself is a well-oiled machine - everything is precise and on time. The doctors are incredible and the nurses are beyond wonderful (literally every single one, but shoutout to Barbara especially) - they remember you by name, they are reassuring and caring. I was able to conceive my children via IVF with the help of Dr. Slowey and Dr. Mclaughlin, but also worked with Dr. Schnorr and Dr. Cook for various procedures. Highly recommend this practice and its doctors and nurses.
I have worked with Coastal Fertility for around 5 years now and have had only positive experiences. From the nurses to the donor coordinators, doctors, and everyone in between, they all treat you with care and kindness. Every process is explained thoroughly, and there is always someone readily available to answer any questions. Each retrieval has been quick and efficient and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!Special thanks to Neely Shepherd, Tiffany Leonard, Jordan Beaupre, Dr. Shnorr, Dr. Reistenberg. And Dr. Cook. You all have been wonderful to work with!
Dr. Schnorr and Andrea are very compassionate and caring. They made us feel like we were more than just a chart number, and that they truly cared. The Lexington nurses are truly wonderful as well. We were recently blessed with our beautiful IVF baby and are truly grateful. We prayed, were referred here, and have been truly blessed. It may have been a long journey (infertility sucks) but we finally made it and couldn’t be happier.
Dr M and her team has made our dream of becoming parents come true. They took time and listen to my concerns and needs. I truly felt like family when i was there. Im am very thankful for everyone at CFS
After having a bad experience in Florida with a different facility, I was very nervous about starting the process up. Im a little late with leaving this review, but I was a patient in 2022 of the now retired, Dr. Slowey. I am beyond pleased with my experience, as this facility went above and beyond what I couldve ever imagined.Dr. Slowey was very personable, as though we had met him before. Our nurse Laura, was always calm, patient, and available (even if she wasnt), providing vital information in a manner that was not confusing. I sometimes got worried or overwhelmed, but she always reassured us that all would be well.Dr. Slowey gave me so much hope the day we met, and at the end of our first appointment, he stood up to shake our hands, but he held onto my hand and said Were going to help you....and they did.Every 60 to 90 min drive, every call and email, every bit of medication, was worth it all. My Coastal baby was born on 10/3/2023, and it would not have been possible without the help of Dr. Slowey, the guidance of my nurse Laura, the laughter and cheering on from NPs Keshala and Megan over in the Savannah office, and every member who handled my care. With all my heart, God Bless...and thank you. ❤️
I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the entire staff! I highly recommend this office. They go above and beyond to provide the best patient care. My sweet little one is proof of that!
My husband and I can’t say enough great things about Coastal Fertility. The staff at both the Mt pleasant office and the Nexton office (shout out to Nurse Marie and Ultrasound Tech Dee!) we truly appreciate the care we’ve received. Dr. McLaughlin is so sweet and kind, from our first appointment to the last. Thank you all!
100% would recommend this clinic to anyone! I was a bit wary leaving the care of my OB to go to a fertility clinic but the day I met this team I knew I was in great hands. Every single team member I worked with was kind, compassionate and quick to answer any of my concerns! They were able to help us achieve our first successful pregnancy after a year of fertility treatments. IVF is a difficult process to go through but they made it so easy! My doctor was Dr Mclaughlin and my nurse was Kelly; they were tremendous!! I also worked with Neely at the Myrtle Beach location for some of my bloodwork/check ups and she is fabulous as well!
Highly recommend Coastal Fertility Specialists! We can honestly say that we wouldnt have been able to grow our family without their expertise, help, and constant support. First with Dr. Slowey and second with Dr. McLaughlin. We are forever grateful to the Coastal Fertility team for helping to make our dreams a reality!!
Highly recommend coastal!!! All the doctors and nurses were nice and helpful and informative. We are so thankful for everything Dr. McLaughlin and the rest of the team did for us!! Our IVF baby was born in April 2024 and wouldn’t have been possible without them!
We love Coastal! Dr. Schnorr has been a blessing to us from our first fertility appointment and now our appointments to transfer baby #2! We could not recommend the nurses and doctors at Coastal more.
I cannot say enough great things about this clinic and all the staff. We switched to Coastal after having gone through IUI and IVF failures at a previous clinic. I am blown away by the difference. My previous clinic always left me with unanswered questions rushing me out the door, anxiety, and no other options other than plan A even when it wasnt working. Dr. Riestenberg is a breath of fresh air after my previous experience. It is so clear that shes taken time to review all of my records and sees me as an individual rather than grouping her patients together to get them in and out. Her and her nurses all make me feel so comfortable and calm. Dr. Riestenberg not only did the tests when I went in, but also took time to debrief with me and answer my questions. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explains everything in depth. Im so thankful for Coastal and feel confident moving forward with IVF with the clinic. I have no doubt that this is our best shot at trying IVF one more time. The communication has also blown me away. My nurse responds to emails so quickly every time. If I email out of office hours, there is always an automated response with helpful instructions if I need them until she can respond. I am used to waiting hours or sometimes days for a response at my previous clinic. It added so much anxiety during IVF when I needed my next medication instructions but was waiting hours into the evening/night when it was past time to do my injections. My experience at Coastal so far has just taken away all the unnecessary anxiety from an already stressful time with their compassion, knowledge, punctuality, and overall ease. All of that to say, I highly recommend Coastal for your fertility journey and am so grateful that we were led to them! And on a side note, the nurse that drew my blood was amazing! I was ready for the poke, and I literally did not feel a thing. Im used to being dug in to for those draws! I wish I asked her name so I could thank her again!!
Dr.Riestenberg worked so hard to make sure we received our little miracle. I appreciate her and her staff more than Ill ever be able to write into words. They answered the phone anytime I needed them, during ivf and early pregnancy. Truly angels on earth.
Wonderful experience! Dr Heather Cook and Nurse Becky were fantastic. Our little boy is our whole world and we are so grateful to the team at Coastal Fertility Specialists.
I came to CFS in Aug 22 after a miscarriage, in which I was advised by my gyno to get a D&C. I knew something was wrong, because my periods were very scarce. I brought up my lack of periods, and Dr Cook and my nurse brushed it off and said it was normal to have light periods. When I brought up to my nurse that I thought I may have Ashermans Syndrome, which is scarring in the uterus, she said shed never heard of it. Which now I know should have been a red flag. I kept missing my day 3 lab tests because I never knew if I had my period, which wasted a few months. Finally, we caught my period, so I could do my blood tests and HSG. During my HSG, my doctor said oh, it looks like you have half a uterus, which is obviously traumatizing when you are laying on the exam table not even knowing what that means. They sent me for an MRI, which in fact showed I had a full uterus.Next stop was a hysteroscopy, which showed I had 70% of my uterus scarred. Frustrating, as this is what I had brought up months previously. I also sought out a specialist in Boston who is an expert in Ashermans Syndrome, and when I told my doctor about seeing him she responded with well no one can be an expert, maybe he just sees a lot of cases. Well, after having 3 surgeries with him my scarring was gone, so I guess there can be an expert in Ashermans. Not to mention he had the most incredible bedside manner, which I will say CFS is significantly lacking. We then moved on to IVF, and I will say we had a fantastic retrieval. We ended up with 7 PGT normal embryos, but like other reviews, I never spoke with my doctor except for a day before the retrieval where she called me for 2 minutes. As we moved on to transfers, we had to cancel several attempts because my lining wouldnt get thick enough, which can be a side effect from scarring. When I asked if giving my body a break would help, she told me that this was the best it was ever going to get, which is also false, which you will see at the the end of my review. One of my transfer attempts was a mini stim cycle, so I created my own egg. Prior to it being cancelled, I specifically asked if it was ok to have sex, in which she replied, yeah no problem. Now of which I come to learn is a huge NO when going through a transfer. It ended up getting cancelled, but, I somehow got pregnant off that cycle. I knew something was wrong from the beginning because I was bleeding significantly. They brushed it off, and just took my HCG blood tests. Which came back at 900, when I should have been 6.5 weeks pregnant. They told me that was NORMAL. But if you ask any doctor, that would be significantly low, and a sign that a pregnancy is not viable. I had to push and push for an ultrasound, and when they finally gave me one, they found no gestational sac in my uterus, which led us to believe it was ectopic. Instead of giving me a MTX shot, they said I had to have a D&C first. Which I was against given my history of scarring. They refused, and said they would only give me a MTX shot if I had the D&C.Thankfully we got into Preg to get a second opinion. They agreed it was ectopic, and also said it made no sense to do a D&C given my history. We let Coastal fertility know, and I continued my personal care with Preg.In the midst of this, Dr Cook told us the only way we would have a baby at this point was surrogacy. She made me feel like my body was broken. I felt worthless, and just like another number to them. When we wanted to continue our surrogacy journey with Coastal since our embryos were there, they refused and said there is not enough space for two doctors in your care. Which made no sense because surrogacy had absolutely nothing to do with my care. CFS literally dropped us and said we should proceed with the other clinic. We are now expecting a baby through surrogacy, and I became pregnant naturally. Moving on from Coastal was the best decision I ever made, and I wish I had done it sooner. CFS would be much more successful if they actually LISTEN to their patients and not just assume they know everything.
I have been a patient for over a year now and I’m pregnant with out IVF baby. I cannot thank Coastal Fertility enough. Dr. Schnorr and Whitney have been phenomenal.
The team here is amazing and provided the best and most attentive care around the clock. They have made communication so easy, specifically Tiffany, and are always happy to help.I cannot recommend them enough!
We could not be more thankful for our amazing team at Coastal - Especially Dr. Schnorr and his nurses in the Lexington and Mt. Pleasant offices! Dr. Schnorr not only takes his time to listen to any questions or concerns you may have, but we also felt we were always given the top level of fertility advice and care. We now have a healthy, happy little baby that wouldn’t be here without their help!! They mean so much to our family - so much that, even since we moved out of state, we still plan to find a way work with them even from afar. They truly are the best and care so much about you and your hope for a growing family! We will forever be grateful for them.
We liked Dr. Cook and our nurse but this was not a good experience. I was on too much medication which two different fertility doctors have agreed on and we begged for them to tell us prices after each visit so we didn’t have even more surprises during such a vulnerable time but no one could ever do that for us. We were told they took our insurance by the woman at checkout and then told they didn’t. We spent around 10k with medications etc. for three IUI attempts but the third we had to stop halfway through because too many follicles were produced. This happened my second IUI and they had to do a pain aspiration which also costs money. But they kept me on the same gonal dosage (gonal is expensive). My friend had an even worse experience with the male doctor. When we switched to our new facility, not only was it less, but they also have us watching modules so we understand every step. There is a refund program if it doesn’t work out. I have so many friends and friends of friends who are asking about where I go because I share my story publicly and I’m really grateful I found such a great facility. I’m almost done with IVF and that was around the same price as all my IUI’s - wish I would have done more research. One more thing - I’ve heard the male doctor is a bit of a bully at coastal and I’ve noticed when people try to write informed reviews to help others he, or others at coastal, have written back aggressive remarks which sort of says it all. PREG has been great and they are always available. This is just my experience.
We are so grateful we went to Coastal Fertility. Dr. Cook and Heather Peterson were amazing and so supportive every step of the way. I highly recommend this clinic.
Thanks to Coastal Fertility and Dr. Riestenberg, we are 3 months away from welcoming our first baby into this world. After an unsuccessful year with another clinic, we switched to Coastal Fertility in 2023 and couldn’t be happier with the care and our outcome. Dr. Riestenberg is the best doctor I have ever had and I would recommend her to anyone trying to make their dream of having a baby a reality.
We absolutely adore CFS. We had the privilege of getting to know Dr. Cook, and she has been extremely personable. We couldn’t ask for a better support team when it comes to creating a family we were once told we couldn’t have.
Dr. Schnorr and his team are absolutely wonderful. I am beyond grateful for them. We felt so comfortable and were always reassured through the process.
I had two rounds of egg freezing at two different clinics, one at Coastal and one at Columbia University in NYC. The experiences were drastically different with Columbia outperforming Coastal across every dimension. Most importantly, I got twice the number of eggs in a single cycle at Columbia vs Coastal. This is because my Doctor at Columbia actually paid attention and consistently communicated with me. At Coastal I never once heard from my doctor aside from the intro convo. Columbia are also a better clinic, full stop. They wait for eggs to mature overnight, which Coastal doesn’t do. My doctor also discussed techniques with me and studied my bloodwork and adjusted my protocol - producing fantastic results.Second, EVERYTHING was more organized at Columbia. Billing, communications, consultations, bloodwork - was all a breeze. Bloodwork was super easy at Coastal also but everything else was sorely disappointing. The financial “counselor” at coastal is grossly inept and insisted that they didn’t take my insurance - I had to prove myself through hours of work that they did. She tried to charge me thousands more than I needed to pay. Their billing department is also a mess. I am still owed thousands of dollars (separate from the above error!) and no one will pick up the phone for me or my Aetna advocate and no one will return our messages. I did not pay a single cent at Columbia since their billing department is actually competent - I am being generous here because the more likely scenario is that Coastal has knowingly scammed me out of $3K, looking at the other reviews.Their admin is also disappointing. It took me 3 months to get started with Coastal simply because no one answers the phone or returns messages. I initially reached out to them in October and did not speak to a human until December at which point they were winding down for the holidays. What a jokeI did get eggs collected at Coastal and I am grateful for that. Also, the nurses are A+. But at the end of the day I can’t ignore an absentee doctor, a substandard embryology team and a train wreck of a Billings / admin team. If you have the ability I would suggest going to a different clinic, but if you can’t - hang in there I guess. Kind of like the Applebees of clinics- sure, if you have toCan’t wait for these guys to respond and gaslight me like they do everyone else on here. Def nothing shady about that!Response to their response:0. Man, if only your other admin teams were as responsive as your Google reviews staff!1. I am covered fully by my insurance and you guys billed to my insurance. You make no sense2. I did not have 5 conversations3. The doctor at Columbia got more success when she lowered my dosage so I’m not sure what you’re getting at there, bit of a weird remark but not surprised4. Only matured eggs were saved. Are you suggesting immature eggs were saved? Reread the text please. Columbia is ranked #4 and you dont have a rank, so I’ll go with their expertise thanks!5. I was not persistent. I simply switched to a better doctor. Dr McLaughlin was my DR and I’ll let readers see for themselves what I and others have shared.
We have always been more than pleased with our care from CFS. Not only are they gentle and kind with such a difficult struggle, but they’re skilled professionals at what they do. We have two daughters thanks to them!
They misdiagnosed me. Said i had a blocked tube and pushed me to do IVF. I got a second opinion and another HSG and my tube was not blocked. Their billing clearly doesn’t know what they’re doing either because they keep mailing us a bill for my husbands SA when it was referred by his doctor and tricare confirms they covered it but didn’t receive the invoice from the Savannah clinic.
Absolutely beautiful experience every time I enter the office. They have me my miracle rainbow babe 4 years ago and currently in a round for our second
I couldn’t recommend an office or a doctor less. Dr. Jessica McLaughlin botched a simple, common surgery and then dismissed me from the practice when she found out that I got a second opinion because it was a “sign of distrust,” with zero warning right before another scheduled surgery. Don’t waste your time and save yourself the heartache. I have long term complications from surgery that could have been avoided if I had chosen a more experience practitioner. Coastal Fertility is shady and heartless. They are money-driven and are falling behind as fertility technology + research progress. I cannot overstate the lack of professionalism, the poor communication, or the major gaps in bedside manner. To respond to the below response from Coastal Fertility:Getting a second opinion is not a sign of distrust that warrants leaving a patient without healthcare. It’s a sign of a fragile ego and an insecure surgeon that isn’t proud of her own work. A surgeon that was confident would encourage and allow a patient to pursue a second opinion without punishment or threats.Seriously everyone this place is shady. Trust me when I say I would never publish personal medical information or a negative review on the internet as it’s just not my nature if I didn’t feel a personal responsibility to make other families aware of the heartache that this office has cause me and many others. There are so many wonderful, compassionate fertility clinics to choose from but unfortunately this is not one. Also to add- my surgery complication actually has led to long term repercussions- how would you know since you are no longer my clinic?
My husband and I absolutely recommend Coastal Fertility Specialists (with special thanks to Dr. McLaughlin and Alex)! After multiple pregnancy losses and receiving a really tricky diagnosis, the CFS team worked so hard to help us get pregnant and truly help us make our dreams come true. They were so patient with us, answered all of our questions, and were so caring and understanding through the IVF process. We would go back and do everything over again with the same team - and plan to for baby #2!
I wouldn’t have my two IVF babies without them! I am so thankful for Dr. Schnorr and nurse Andrea and all of the staff at Coastal!
We have found our provider at Coastal Fertility to be incredibly helpful and patient. If it were for her alone, wed be giving 5 stars. To be honest, I am writing this 3-star review in the hopes that we will receive better communication from billing and finances. I will be thrilled to come back and update this post once our billing concerns have been addressed. Our problem with Coastal has been with finances and billing, and particularly with our financial counselor. She was difficult to communicate with, both in terms of getting timely responses and in her ability to understand our questions. We often had to rephrase our questions to simplify them for her or just throw our hands up and go without answers. Our financial counselor misinterpreted our insurance benefits in a way that would have cost us thousands of dollars had we not contacted the insurance company persistently ourselves to correct her mistake. As for Coastals billing and financial department overall, we keep receiving bills of amounts that dont add up based on what we and our insurance has paid. Coastal doesnt seem to understand the equation either. We paid around $15,000 up front for services in February 2023. It was unclear what services the $15,000 was for, and the financial counselor was never able to tell us. She kept saying that she couldnt tell us until insurance was filed. We were never given an answer to this question, which we have had to ask again and again as we paid more to Coastal and saw our insurance covering the same services for which we were paying. Most recently, we had a service covered by insurance, and the claim was subsequently, inexplicably voided by Coastal. We understand that there are so few options for fertility treatment in the area and that Coastal is one of the most successful. The best advice we can give is to carefully track all that you pay and all that your insurance pays. Also, look into your fertility benefits on your own through your insurance to ensure that you are truly getting what your benefits provide. As an update, we found some folks from the billing department to be very helpful and kind. However, we did continue to experience some unprofessional interactions. There was a staff member who made up a personally hurtful story about why we requested a change in filing a claim. This false story was sent to us in an email with our true reasons for filing listed in that same email thread. In addition, we received an email that was about us but not intended for us. We invested so much of ourselves, our time, our hope, and our money into this clinic, and we left with a great deal of sadness, knowing that we were considered a burden. I hope that others who find themselves dealing with loss and infertility will find patience and kindness at Coastal from all staff members and not just the fantastic providers and those special, kind souls on the billing/administrative staff.
Dr. Mcglaughlin and Neely are so great. Everyone at coastal fertility is so personable and caring of every patient they get.
I started my journey to become a single mom in the middle of 2022. I was 39 at the time, and a bit worried about my age. It was a tough experience for me, a couple of IUI’s, the preparation and egg retrieval, a surgical procedure followed by an IVF implant. It was such an up and down emotional trip for me. But Doctor McLaughlin was great and my nurse, Keshala, was wonderfully supportive and encouraged me the whole way.As of today I’m 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant and had my last appointment with Costal Fertility this past Monday. I was a patient at their Savannah and Mount Pleasant locations. I also used their on-call lines a few times for questioning.I am so thankful to have been blessed with the staff of Coastal Fertility Specialists and their guidance. I am looking forward to my due date in August, praying everything will continue to be positive. I cannot thank them enough for getting me to this point. ~Mayline
Amazing ! The staff was super professional, nice , and very knowledgeable! Dr. Cook provided SOOO much information and instead of saying IF she said WHEN I love a doctor that is ALREADY BELIEVING IN ME!!
The team at Coastal Fertility has been nothing but wonderful through our journey with IVF. We started the process 3 years ago and we had to pause because of COVID. When we returned Dr. Cook immediately jumped in as if no time had passed. The nurse team is available whenever you need them and holds your hand through the entire process. Everyone was amazing but specifically Jordan, Tiffany, Julie and Susan, we could not have asked for a better care team. Dr Cook was away during my retrieval which caused no disruption. Dr McLaughlin stepped in and created a comfortable environment for my speedy retrieval. I can not thank everyone enough for an amazing experience. We will be doing our transfer soon and hope for success. We know our team with Coastal will continue to show the utmost professionalism and care
Coastal has the most friendly and professional staff I love them so much they always are positive I love this clinic.
Dr Cook and staff have been an amazing help in helping us start our little family. She is so kind and truly loves what she is doing, and is so knowledgeable. We really feel she cares about her patients. Our nurse was Allison and she’s literally the best, so kind and always answers our questions even if we’ve had to ask multiple times. They respond so quickly. We’ve honestly loved this clinic for years now, they’ve given us our beautiful 3 year old and we are so grateful we have the best fertility clinic.
Dr. Heather Cook was wonderful to work with. She explained every step of the IVF process to us and made sure that we were comfortable and informed throughout the process. She takes extra care to make sure that her patients are comfortable during each procedure. She is a knowledgeable and caring physician. The Coastal Fertility Clinic, where Dr. Cook works, made us feel welcomed. The staff and nurses at the facility are friendly and professional. We never had to wait long in the waiting area and each procedure was done in a timely and efficient manner. They are very organized.
Go HERE!!! Ive written a review of another fertility clinic and urged people to find another clinic. Coastal is a different story--GO HERE!. Dr. Cook is unlike any doctor Ive ever met...she called me HERSELF when she was going out of town during our retrieval and again to congratulate us. While our first specialist only offered one treatment plan that didnt work, Dr. Cook had more to offer. The staff always seem to be smiling. I even found myself looking forward to going to one of the many appointments!??! I was living half-way across the country and flying in for my cycles. Id encourage anyone to consider Coastal, and if you live out-of-town, Id say its worth it to make the effort to work with this clinic.NOTE: The clinic does ask for reviews, but I was going to leave a review anyway. Also, we did have a good outcome, but we had a lot of ups and downs during the process, and our experience with Coastal was always positive. Im pretty sure I would have left a glowing review regardless of the outcome because they made the process so much better than with previous clinics. GO HERE!
I can not say enough about Dr. Slowey, my nurse Cari in Mt.Pleasant office, and my nurse here locally in Myrtle Beach, nurse Neely. Dr. Slowey is so incredibly nice, professional, and thorough. He was so clear from the start, so helpful. His care, and the entire staff of doctors I worked with at Coastal were wonderful. I am so grateful and thankful. I was just released after my 8 weeks and I am so sad I wont see them until I need to again. The nurses were so caring and nice to me. Infertility and ivf is so very overwhelming, all the information you are processing from the jump which is just the tip of the whole ivf process. They were there for me along my journey. I can not say enough. I truly can not. Hopefully this pregnancy continues to go in a positive direction moving forward since I am officially released, but I am so happy that when or if we decide to have another baby I know they will be there! I wouldnt see anyone else! No way! I am going to miss them so much! For any fertility needs, do yourself a favor and invest in Coastal. You wont regret gaining another family.
Dr. Slowey is the most incredible, kind, compassionate, patient, intelligent, understanding, open, honestly the list can go on! He listened to us, educated us, made us feel very comfortable with every decision that was made. His wealth of knowledge & guidance helped us conceive a beautiful son! We are now seeing him for a second time & the visits have gone even better then the first time! His nurse Alison has been so pleasant, helpful & is there anytime we need anything. My husband & I are so grateful to have met Dr. Slowey.
We cannot recommend Coastal Fertility enough. Everyone is very professional and extremely knowledgeable . Which is ultimately why we chose their clinic over others that we had negative experiences with. We even had a better outcome than expected with IVF with their clinic. I am very confident in their abilities and would recommend them to anyone!
After a long road TTC and getting several disappointing diagnoses, Coastal Fertility gave us hope and a plan. I was really pleased with how quickly and efficiently my evaluation took place along with beginning next steps. Dr. Schnorr has been wonderful to us as has his nurse, Jessica, shes the kindest and always quick to respond to any of our questions. We are currently 23 weeks with our IVF baby and could not be happier.
What a wonderful group of caring human beings. The team at Coastal Fertility has made me and my husband feel comfortable from the moment we stepped into their offices. They treat people with respect, dignity and make you feel that you are important to them. They also take the time to explain procedures and test results with you which has made the journey so far feel a lot less daunting. Thank you for the work you do!
Dr. Cook and the staff at Coastal Fertility Clinic was amazing. They really treat you like family and care about you. Our nurse Becky was awesome as well. I started the process in April of 2018 and was pregnant by the end of July 2018. So blessed to have welcomed a healthy baby in March 2019. I can’t thank them enough for helping with our blessing!
Everyone at Coastal Fertility Specialist is amazing! Doctor Schnorr and Jessica are a great team and helped us so much through our infertility journey. I can not say enough good things about them and the whole staff at CFS. Thank you all so much for helping us bring a wonderful addition to our little family.
Its been killing me to wait until Im in the clear with my pregnancy before posting because I have much to say about this wonderful place. My husband and I came here to start our journey with IVF for genetic reasons. (Completely open to those who are affected and would like to talk about this process, btw). While any fertility clinic has an initial affect of feeling factory-like when it comes to the first meeting (shuffling between nurse discussions, and billing specialists), every interaction beyond that was truly outstanding. We worked with Dr. Jessica Mclaughlin who is an absolute pistol, laughed at my husbands dad jokes, and answered every single question and/or concern with sermon like cohesiveness. Our nurse was Mindy Soucy who is just about the nicest, warmest, and most patient person we have ever encountered in the medical field. Every email was answered within the hour truly. Im an anxious person, and these eased my worries more than you can understand. The process start to finish was wonderful, and I was truly sad on graduation day to leave this place. They treat you like family. I highly HIGHLY recommend Coastal, Id give 6 stars if I could.Warmly,Jennings Cameron
We are so glad to have worked with Dr. Heather Cook at Coastal Fertility Specialists. She is a true professional in her field, and it took a lot of stress off of us to know that we could fully trust in her knowledge and experience. Everyone at Coastal including our nurses were exceptional and treated us like family from day one. They truly care about what they do which makes a difficult situation much easier to deal with. We completed IVF with Dr. Cook and are expecting our first child in February 2017. We feel so blessed to be a part of the Coastal family and highly recommend Dr. Cook and staff!
I’ve been a patient at CFS for a couple of years now. Dr.Cook and my Nurse Lauren are great and compassionate. I’ve had 2 transfers fail and Dr.Cook was very quick to draw up another plan for success immediately and called me personally to give me a run down on what we will be doing different my next transfer cycle. Lauren is very sweet and she always responds to me quickly and answers all my questions thoroughly. You can tell how much they genuinely care. Every nurse I’ve came in contact with at CFS have been amazing as well. Only problem I have had is with billing trying to double charge me for some things after I’ve already paid, I sent in my receipts and Shannon did end up getting those problems fixed for me. Out of all the other fertility clinics to choose from, I’m glad I chose Coastal and Dr.Cook. They have made this journey easier and been there every step of the way.
Wish I could give zero stars. They are focused on money and that’s it. Pushing donor eggs after one blood test. Told me I had less than a 5% chance of having a baby even with IVF. Thankfully I sought a second opinion and was able to conceive with just monitoring and timed Intercourse. The anguish they caused me is unacceptable. To respond to CFS comment- oh you did try to push IUI immediately. Same day had me in the billing office asking me how I’d like to pay the $5,000 to try IUI. I said, why would I do that if you just said it likely won’t work. Same day you diagnosed me with DOR you start telling me the only true option is Donor eggs at $20,000. Also, the doctors told me about my DOR while I was laying on a table having a procedure. I laid there crying with the nurses handing me tissues. Completely awful experience. The other fertility doctor I went to couldn’t believe that you even mentioned donor eggs with my numbers and history of 2 natural full term pregnancies.
Could not speak more highly of this place. Everyone is fantastic, but especially Dr. Schnorr. He is extremely thorough and knowledgeable and its very obvious that he truly cares about his patients. He has gone out of his way to have extra conversations and appointments with us if we need them to make us more comfortable and answer all of our questions. He is a wonderful provider that cares for his patients and it doesnt feel like he is in it for the money at all. I have never had a provider that seems at genuine as Dr. Schnorr and would absolutely recommend him to anyone going through this process.
I had such a great experience at CFS! My nurse Allison and Dr Cook were very responsive and detailed. They are really good at what they do, and Im convinced that our success with IVF was due to their knowledge and superb, high quality practice. They are also very caring and supportive personally during your time with them. I always had a ton of questions and they never made me feel like I was bothering them. Dr Cook in particular is a very good problem solver - she will try to get down to the reason why you are not having success and wont just try the same things over and over. Their lab is also excellent. Given that the stakes are so high with fertility treatments, you want to make sure you are at a good clinic and this was that place for us!
From the moment I entered the clinic I was welcomed with smiling faces. The staff and doctors are absolutely amazing! The facility is clean and I felt so welcomed. Amazing office ❤️❤️
This has been the most beautifully life altering experience Ive ever had. From the very first appointment with Dr. Cook, all the way to this very moment as I hear my sons breath next to me. Wow, the words I never imagined being able to say!We started our journey completely unsure of our options and ultimately IVF was the way for us to go. Dr. Cook honestly could not have been better. It took about 3 months from our first appointment to transferring our embryo and we felt no time was wasted. We were well educated on the entire process step by step and communication was always clear and precise. The entire staff made it all seem so natural and important that we recieve the best care.Thank you all so much. You all have helped make our world so much lovelier.Dr. Cook, Jessica and Krista will always have a special place in our hearts. Each of them have had a vital part in making our dream come true in the best way we believe possible.
Dr. Slowey & staff were the absolute best today. I had a HSG test done and their professionalism was so comforting. They talked through each step and explained the results in great detail. The procedure was absolutely pain free for me. I had such a great experience!
Dr. Slowey was highly recommended to me by a friend who had DOR and was successful in having twins after only 1 retrieval but 2 IVF transfers (she was not a candidate for IUI) at CFS in Mt. Pleasant. I initially saw another RE based in Charleston but due to unprofessionalism during the first visit and her immediate decision to jump on to IVF for PCOS (all other labs and tests were good), we decided to ask a friend and then we found out about Dr. Slowey.Dr. Slowey is very compassionate and he genuinely has your best interest even if it may take a few attempts trying to conceive using different yet appropriate methods. He takes the time to answer all relevant questions even on days when he has a student following him around. He is never condescending even if there is something you don’t quite understand the first time you ask a question. He has an excellent nursing team in Mt. Pleasant, and Haley and Jessica in Savannah are incredibly helpful and very professional! This is the clinic to go to when you are trying to expand your family. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Slowey and Haley for all their support and patience as this entire process could be very frustrating and discouraging. Also, I never had issues with scheduling an appointment time that was convenient with my work schedule. It’s also a bonus that they are very supportive and will try to help any way they can even before you give them cash/check (NOT that they charge you for a simple note for work). The other clinic refused to give me a note for work unless I paid $25 beforehand.I’m so glad to have found Dr. Slowey and his team! I have no doubt that other people will have the same great experience when they go to CFS in Mt. Pleasant or Savannah.
My husband and I have been trying to concieve for 10 years. We met with Dr Schnorr and immediately felt comfortable. We started on our treatment plan and everything has been such an amazing experience since day 1. Dr Schnorr is very personally and cares about your case as if its his only priority. We followed everything he suggested and could not be happier. Today was our transfer day. I was so nervous and excited. Before transfer you arrive 30 mins before. Dr Schnorr meets with you one on one and explains what will happen. He answers any questions and helped keep me calm. Same happened with our egg retrival! We couldnt be more pleased. My nurse is Mindy Soucy, wow! The communication with her is like I had my own personal nurse. She is there any time and trys to get back to you right away. Any question I had, she answered. I feel as it I have known her personally. When going through this process, its important to have support like this. Im so grateful for her kindness, compassion and understanding during my whole process. The embryologist are one of a kind. They called us during our egg retrival process and never left us hanging. They asked how I was feeling and never let me go without asking if there was anything else i needed. Amazing team! The nurses and staff are amazing and I can not say one bad thing about my experience. I have tiny veins and they worked with me instead of getting frustrated or annoyed with me. I appreciate it so much!At Coastal Fertility Specialists, you are not just a number. You are not rushed through your appointments. They truly take the time to explain why and what they will do. We are so grateful we found this clinic and we hope you have a great experience too! Baby dust and tons of luck!
Not only did I feel completely comfortable trusting Dr. Cook through this very new journey but I also appreciated how truly empathetic and supportive she was to me through all my infertility steps. Both she and her staff are an amazing group of highly educated and professional women who helped me feel uplifted as I faced the challenges and then joys of conceiving. You are in the best care with Dr. Heather Cook.
Weve been on our fertility journey for over 5 years now, spanning 2 states and while being permanently based in Japan. We just recently relocated back to the US and the professionalism and WARMTH from all parties and locations (Summerville and Savannah offices, too) with CFS has been unmatched. They have an authenticity and understanding that makes an already charged and sensitive situation that much more bearable.
Would definitely rate this facility with a negative rating if possible. They don’t care about what’s legal and what isn’t. They pick and choose what they “feel” is best for someone else and their situation. There are definitely better options and better doctors out there. I would not waste my time or money here!
Amazing doctors, staff and facility. They are a well oiled machine from the minute the walk in the door until the minute you leave. Theyll answer all your questions and concerns before you can even ask them. I love how youre assigned a doctor and nurse, so you dont have to tell your medical history every time you call - they already know you. Dr. Slowey and Andrea have been nothing short of amazing throughout our treatments and our miscarriage, along with all of the other staff members. Id recommend you guys to anyone. Thanks for all you do!
We were under the care of Dr Cook by accident. We called to make our initial appointment and took the day off and traveled 2 hours just to hear our appointment was canceled due to us not confirming. I showed the front office staff my email and phone history that we never received any confirmation call or email, so they squeezed us in with Dr Cook. Already having wasted the day, we took the appointment. We went through with the consultation and Dr Cook herself and nurses were friendly, when we got to the financial consultation we were a bit shocked. (For reference, we were quoted 5k over what we were quoted a year later in Greenville).I called back to the financial consultant after all of our testing and hsg to discuss why we were quoted so much for IVF when our insurance does cover fertility partially, and the consultant was rushed, rude, and condescending, and when I started getting emotionally upset she hung up on me. During such an emotionally draining process such as considering IVF, you really need compassion and understanding and we were so disappointed with costal fertility. We felt rushed into the ivf decision and then to be hung up on was extremely unprofessional. We had to take a year long break from the process completely and now we are starting the process again in Greenville. Save your emotional energy and go elsewhere.
Dr. Schnorr and the entire staff at Coastal Fertility are wonderful. The transparency in the IVF process from start to finish was refreshing and allowed us to have realistic expectations. We were successful on our first round but had every realistic expectation should it have failed. We are very happy to have sought medical assistance here and would definitely go back if we had to do it all over again.
We would not have our sweet baby girl if it wasn’t for Dr. Cook and her amazing team. My issues were unique but she worked with the other doctors in the practice to determine the best course of action and I was eventually able to conceive via IVF. I felt like she truly listened to my concerns and her team of nurses were just the best. (My son still mentions them often!)
I had a great experience at Coastal. My nurse in the Columbia office, Heather Clayton, was great. She was there for us all the way and made this experience so enjoyable. Dr Cook is such a great doctor. She listened to our concerns and helped us all the way.I highly recommend them!
My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Coastal Fertility Specialists. Like most folks, we had many appointments at the Mt Pleasant office. The front desk staff were always courteous and professional. Dr. Schnorrs nurses were amazing and kindly lead us through this process. Dr. Schnorr was also very professional and a pleasure to work with. My wife kept his kind message informing us of our successful conception on her phone for months afterwards. We had a fantastic experience and I recommend this team to anyone needing fertility assistance.
I honestly don’t know where I would be without Dr. Cook! At our initial appointment she found masses on my ovaries and stayed very calm, which totally helped me not to completely freak out! Her and her staff quickly got on getting me an appointment with oncologist and made sure he had everything he needed from her. Even though she didn’t have to, Shannon helped me to work with my insurance and pcm to get the referral for the oncologist and scans! I look forward to working more with them to hopefully grow my family! ☺️
I had such a wonderful experience at CFS, I cannot say enough how much I appreciate them and am grateful to them for everything! Dr. Cook, Allison and everyone at the Columbia and Charleston offices are amazing. I came to them after an awful and unsuccessful treatment at an Ivy League Institution in the NE that left me heartbroken and unsure of our future and Dr. Cook gave me hope. I had also gone to another infertility office here in Columbia for a consult and left there feeling worse and not confident so when I came across CFS and learned they had an office in Columbia I could not be more excited. They worked diligently to get me in for a consult and fast tracked me to start a new cycle. Despite some obstacles, a hurricane, they were able to help me still keep my timeline for everything and were so understandable and compassionate. They really treat you like family. Because of their dedication and compassion I am beyond excited to say that we are expecting our first baby in August. We could not be more happy and grateful. I highly recommend CFS, Dr. Cook is just so wonderful and very informative, she will be honest and upfront and lay everything out for you. I also met Dr. Schnorr and he was wonderful, I did not meet Dr. Slowey but I hear wonderful things about him as well.
Dr. Cook and her staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. She was able to answer all of my questions and explained things to the level I desired. I never felt rushed and they were very understanding of what one goes through following multiple losses. They did their best to calm my nerves when I became pregnant again and seemed just as excited as I was to graduate from their care.
I’ve waited to make this review because I still wasn’t sure it was real, I wasn’t confident that this would happen for us. As I write this, my son is in my arms and there is no longer any doubt. Dr. Cook, Nurse Becky and the staff at Coastal Fertility have a lot to do with that. They helped us achieve what we wanted for years. I will never be able to explain the joy that I feel every day holding our sweet baby. It was a hard road, but absolutely worth it. Thank you so much!! For everything. 💙Robin and Christopher Cox
Dr. Schnorr, Dr. Cook, Andrea, Whitney and the entire staff at Coastal Fertility were the best to work with. Always a great experience and everyone is so warm, welcoming, professional and comforting. Upon our graduation from the office, Dr. Schnorr & our nurse Andrea both gave us special gifts and it meant so much to us. My husband and I highly recommend Coastal Fertility!
Dr. Cook was wonderful. My wife and I appreciated the personalized approach and felt welcomed and heard. Wed tried another center in Charleston and felt like we wasted a lot of money on unnecessary diagnostic tests and protocols. Coastal laid out several options for us, where the other center had just one option. Id definitely recommend that you visit Coastal, even if just to get a second opinion.
After extensive treatment at both fertility practices in the Charleston area, I can unequivocally say that there is no comparison to the expertise of Coastal Fertility.Dr. Cook and nurse Becky (who I call the “dream team”) were incredibly competent, compassionate, and responsive. Thanks to them and their embryology team, we walked away with twice the number of PGS normal embryos than we did four years ago at a different practice (mind you- I’m four years older and considered advanced maternal age). I attribute this to Dr. Cook’s expertise and protocol, which was entirely different than the care we had previously received. I cannot say enough good things about the practice- they literally made our dream come true!
I cannot say enough positive things about Coastal Fertility, specifically Dr. Schnorr and his staff. Thanks to Dr. Schnorr and Coastal Fertility, we have a beautiful, healthy 5 week old baby girl as a result of IVF. My husband and I agree that Dr. Schnorr and his staff are the kindest and most responsive medical professionals that we have ever experienced. I had to travel frequently to Maryland for work, and Coastal Fertility made contact with another fertility clinic for some of my monitoring. They went above and beyond to do this, but the comparison of the Maryland location with Coastal Fertility demonstrated just how compassionate and kind Coastal Fertility is, not treating us like just another patient. They truly care and it shows. Things like minimal wait times at appointments and follow up phone calls from Dr. Schorr and the nurse every step of the way are just part of the considerate treatment we received. We are looking forward to bringing our baby over there this week to meet the staff.
Dr. Cook, Ali, and the rest of the staff have been absolutely amazing. Theyve made an unbearable situation as bearable as possible. Dr. Cook has always been extremely thorough and easy to talk to. She is a straight-shooter but also super compassionate. I cant say enough good things about her and her staff and would recommend them to anyone having fertility issues.
We absolutely love Coastal Fertility! The staff is so helpful and detailed with the entire process. Everyone is friendly and compassionate. We had Dr. Cook as our primary doctor and she was amazing. She sat down with us several times to go over our fertility plan. She also called us to update us on lab work and any changes that needed to be made. We had our own personal nurse that was assigned to us and knew our particular plan. We also sat down several times with a financial counselor and knew about all bills and prices before the procedures. We met with and had some procedures done by Dr. Schnorr and Dr. Slowey. They were just as helpful and educated. This group is up to date on all the new research. We were with them for 1 year and did two IUIs and 1 round of IVF. Our IVF round was successful. We transferred two embryos and both implanted! We are 15 weeks pregnant with twins!! We recommend anyone with Fertility issues to visit them. We drove an hour for every visit because we had tried other specialists and realized this group was worth the drive!
The nurses in the Columbia office are the absolute best! So caring and compassionate. Folks who truly go above and beyond!! They respected my wishes at every turn, which I greatly appreciated. I am 41 years old and currently almost 11 weeks pregnant with my own egg and hubbys sperm...so I think that really says it all! I would give 5 stars except that we did have some disappointments where the billing was concerned--our IVF expenses were FARRRRRRR greater than what we were originally told at the first visit estimate. It was also a hassle to travel to Charleston for the procedures, but the Columbia office now has a lab so that wont be a problem for future patients. Dr. Cook knows her stuff and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a fertility specialist.
Dr. Schnorr is amazing. He was always extremely personable, candid and attentive to my needs as a patient. What I liked best about being at Coastal Fertility is that I didnt feel like a patient. I always felt well cared for and felt like Dr. Schnorr and my nurse really took the time to be with us and make sure everything we needed or wanted to discuss was taken care of before we left.
My husband and I had a very positive experience at Coastal. We primarily saw Dr. Cook and she is wonderful! The entire staff is very professional and organized from start to finish. They make a tough process a little more bearable. We would recommend Coastal and Dr. Cook to anyone!
Me and my wife were trying to use this facility in an effort to regulate some things my wife has going on to get pregnant. However from the beginning, there was a communication issue from the team we were supposed to be working with. Took two weeks a multiple calls to get an apt set up after a referral, then after meeting all the requirements and completing one month with TI plus trigger, we were unable to get any communication from the nurse, Becky Welch on how to proceed with the next month cycle, which put us behind a whole cycle. The nurse said she’d reach out after speaking with Dr Heather Cook, yet we never received any communication on what the next steps were. I’m furious that we followed there steps, paid a lot of money for test we technically feel we didn’t need and they just “forgot” about us. Even after my wife called and messaged them on their portal we still got nothing. I do not recommend this place BC fertility is time sensitive, and they do not respect how missing a cycle can affect families mentally and emotionally during a already difficult process. They do not care about patients, they only care about meeting their requirements for testing up front to get as much money from insurance as possible. Not a good place.
Tried for 3 months to set an appointment with this place to have my day 3 labs and initial consultation. NEVER got a call back. I then tried scheduling through the online portal and was contacted via email by Tracy, the new patient coordinator (who I assume is the same person Id been leaving VMs for this whole time), who said shed be happy to help me set up a time. Again, NEVER GOT A RESPONSE and thus missed ANOTHER crucial month in getting my day 3 labs done. She completely ghosted me with no explanation. I repeatedly tried calling, even cried on the VMs I was so upset with the process, and never heard a thing. I eventually contacted my OB who apologized (on their behalf) and referred me to a much better place, that justifiably has much better reviews. AVOID THIS PLACE.
Dr. Schnorr is the best doctor I have ever had. Even thought Im pregnant, Im sad to be graduating to my OBGYN for care. He was very friendly and personable willing to answer our questions at any time. He listened to our every concern and explained our situation with sensitivity and acted like we were the only people he would see that day. We will be forever grateful for what he has done to help us have a family!
Dr.Cook and all of the nurses (Heather Clayton, Ashley, etc) are and were just wonderful during this entire process. My journey expanded over a 2 year span and they became a second family. They were always available for questions and genuinely cared about my husband and I and our success. Very positive experience and I would recommend anyone to this facility.
We loved CFS. Every single person we met with was helpful, kind, and friendly. We were actually so sad to have to start going to a regular doctor when our transfer was successful! Having regular email access with a nurse was also extremely helpful during the IVF process. This place ends up feeling like family!! Highly recommend.
I am a monitoring patient with Coastal Fertility Specialists. I had a monitoring appointment scheduled for 7am got there and was told I couldnt be seen until 830. Ok fine Ill waitThey also told me they could find my orders. I explained to the young lady that the orders were FAXED over on Friday and they should be on the fax. She claimed she couldnt find them. Only to come back 30 min later and say she found them on the FAX. Meanwhile while Im sitting in the waiting room patiently waiting. I can hear Chaucy Anderson loudly speaking about how Ill just have to wait which I was already doingand how they shouldnt have taken my call on Friday afternoon and just being extremely unprofessional. Coastal Fertility Specialists have horrible customer service. I understand that a lack of communication may have been the issue here however dont make the patient feel like its their fault. She had a nasty attitude from the time I got there to the time I left. Never once apologized for the wait or even acted like she gave a care. I was finally seen at 0915. And that only happened because I got up at 0900 and asked was I going to be seen. Showing empathy and giving an apology goes a long way.
I have had experience with Dr. Cook, Dr. Slowey and Dr. Schnorr and they are all fantastic and truly brilliant. I cannot say enough positive things about the doctors and entire staff. Nurse Jessica is absolutely wonderful, helpful and so kind. We had a complication in the beginning and Dr. Schnorr went above and beyond to take proper care of us. I would recommend this fertility center over and over again to anyone. Everyone we came in contact with was wonderful.
My recent experience with CFS has been absolutely horrible. My husband and I recently decided to try IVF. We first saw Dr. Schnorr as a second opinion and were happy that he took the time to review our records, explain the root causes for infertility, and options. However, from that point on it just it was clear CFS cared more about making money than helping us. We got a bill for the free consultation (which they did end up refunding after I called). They had us repeat all of the testing and procedures that had been done at the previous OBGYN, without transparency on the costs until after they were completed. When it was time to start the treatments, it was impossible to get answers around what our insurance advised they covered vs. what the office was charging us in cash in addition to insurance (around $5K). During the financial review call, the consultant discussed the $5K, then also advised medications would be additional. Only after we inquired about the meds, did we find out it would be an additional $5 - $12K. I spent hours talking to our insurance companies to try to understand what would be covered, and the insurance companies tried contacting CFS to learn more about what they were charging cash for. However, CFS refused to talk to them. Finally, CFS provided me with the approval letter of what was covered by the insurance. It listed some of the same procedures/items that CFS was charging us in cash as well. When I inquired about this, they simply stopped talking to me. Keep in mind, I had already started a weeks worth of testosterone at this point and was supposed to be starting injections, without having any answers to these questions. The kicker was also that Dr. Schnorr had advised my thyroid level needed to be adjusted. When I discussed this with my PCP, they advised they would be happy to adjust and monitor if they knew what the goal/reasoning was for changing a value that was in the normal range. CFS refused to talk to my PCP to get on same page, but had also advised me they could not monitor my thyroid during the procedure or pregnancy. When I received my medical records to take to my PCP to try to determine the goal of changing my levels, there were no comments about this in my record. I threw my hands in the air at this point. I was at a complete loss of what to do. Havent heard a word back from this facility on any of the questions I had.I would recommend future patients get all of their answers well ahead of time, rather than trying to figure all out as youre starting treatments. This was one of the most frustrating, emotionally draining experiences I have ever had to deal with.
The nurses are AMAZING. I can’t stress that enough. I had Allison and she was the best. You will not find better nurses anywhere.Dr. Slowey was my Doctor and I feel that he is a great doctor if you have a simple case. Otherwise, he is closed minded and very “His way or the highway”. He is not willing to think outside of the box. Any ideas I brought up he called “voodoo” even though I did research before bringing the ideas to him. I had 3 miscarriages under his care and then he decided to speak to me about surrogacy at 24 with PCOS being my only diagnosis and all other reproductive organs being normal.I moved and saw another doctor who was in complete shock and disbelief at the thought of surrogacy with my diagnosis. This doctor’s protocol closely matched everything Dr. Slowey called “voodoo” and I was successfully pregnant on the first try only 3 months after my first visit with the new Doctor. I had healthy twins at 36 weeks. So, if you have a simple “easy fix” diagnosis then Dr. Slowey is your guy. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend.
I cant say enough good things about this clinic!!! The entire staff was friendly and professional. The office itself was clean and nicely decorated. Dr. Slowey was GREAT! He was extremely thorough, explained everything to my husband and me in detail, he was kind and made us feel very comfortable.
I am very pleased with the help I had from this fertility clinic. Me and my hubby had a hard time getting pregnant and we came here. The staff was nice and answered any questions we had. They walked us through every treatment and before you know it... me and my hubby were blessed with my baby girl. We are beyond thankful for the help and will def recommend!!!😊😊😊
Dr. Slowey is an amazing. He is very informative with the process and explains everything each step of the way. Very compassionate; and he and his staff make me feel at ease each visit. I highly recommend Coastal Fertility Specialists to anyone in the Low County.
Dr. Cook and her staff are truly amazing. They are compassionate about what they do in helping others. She took the time to explain everything, and never rushed us at all. We can not thank them enough for helping us start our little family.
July 2021 I came to this place for the ultrasaund, that I needed for IVF I was doing in another clinic abroad. The ultrasaund cost $170, plus $40 - monitoring fee (actually, just a fee for the fact you are doing IVF somewhere else, not in this place).Ok, I paid it by a credit card. I have the initial form from them with the total charges amount and I have the transaction for $210 on my credit card.A year later, somewhere in September 2022, I started getting mail from them - statements with a balance of $73 that they beleive I owe them! So, the statement says that the charges were $243, I paid $170, and $73 is a 120+days overdue balance that they want me to pay...Luckily, I wasnt doing my IVF in their place, as I think people, who cannot manage a simple accounting, are not able to succeed in such a complicated procedure as IVF.... So, Im now a mother of an infant baby, and I dont really have time to call them, leave messages, wait for them to call back and do other stupid things that I dont really need in me life now... Statements keep coming every month.. I hope, this review, that Im writing in the night after I put my baby to sleep, will help to resolve this. My name is on this review, the date of service is 07/09/2021.. Do not call me, just stop sending your stupid statements, please.
Fighting unexplained fertility is beyond frustrating and disappointing. When you go to medical professionals to help you and your partner ease the stress of infertility & help you achieve a common goal of creating life, you expect a bit of warmth & empathy. Do not expect anything other than a cold environment, robotic doctors & unexpected charges $$ from this group. Speaking of the financial burden...youd think it would be their JOB to be kind & supportive. From the front desk/receptionist staff to the doctors, everyone was annoyed, unpleasant & cold. Dr. Schnorr is the worst! He scolded me over the phone as if I were a child. He made me cry & regret EVER coming to this place. As if our 2 1/2 year fertility journey hasnt been heart wrenching enough. He is strictly about numbers & success rates. He has even turned friends of mine down because taking them on would lower his success rate. They put me on medications that gave me horrible reactions (I did well on fertility meds) & didnt believe me when I told them I was having horrendous side effects (to synthetic progesterone). We felt ignored & unimportant here. Dr. Schnorr himself should not be alllwed to consult with his patients. He should leave that to kinder folks who know how to communicate with others or do so through email or mail. I had an awful menstral cycle that was out of the norm for me, and called the office several times. I sent emails & left messages. No return calls until 4 days later I had to go to the office to even speak with anyone! I was terrified & confused and they offered no explanation. They adjusted my meds & sent me on my way. I would NEVER reccommend this facility or doctors to anyone! We were with these guys for about a year and only did 1 IUI treatment. The office might look snazzy & clean...but the staff here are unkind & treated us like labrats. Thank God we are moving on with another doctor & facility. After taking a 3 month long break after our defeat at Coastal, we are now so very hopeful with our new doctor & staff. Follow your gut & your heart. If it doesnt feel right, it probably isnt right. Lesson learned.
SCAM! I went to this place in December of 2022 for a second opinion consult-advertised free. I will say the doctor was fabulous and very knowledgeable. When it came time to finish up, they told me to get my bloodwork done since I was already there. I stated that the other facility wrote out a request to get them done and they were to be done at labcorp. To which this place said we are the same as labcorp and can transfer the results to the other place. Next month I receive a bill for 380 dollars! It was impossible to get ahold of anyone in accounting. When I finally did, after looking it over, the lady said your whole account is messed up. Every charge is incorrect. Let me look it over and Ill call you back next tuesday. No call back. Next month, get a bill for higher. Try calling and cant get ahold of anyone. I have documented the next 2 times Ive tried calling to sort this out, both people from accounting said they will get back to me by the end of the day. No calls back. Instead, yet another bill threatening collections. I am all for giving people chances and benefits of the doubt, but I highly suggest if using this place, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING SAID ALONG WITH NAMES. You will not be able to resolve financial errors over the phone and you might need it in the end.
Dr. Cook is amazing and really cares about her patients! She takes the time to thoroughly explain treatment options and makes sure you are comfortable with the process before starting treatment. She is dedicated to her patients having a successful fertility journey!
I am very happy for this place. I credit the great staff there, and especially Dr. Slowey, for the birth of my amazing girl, who is now 8 months old. (She is legitimately AMAZING!!) The clinic uses a research-driven approach to treatment, which I appreciate. I am also extremely grateful to the clinic for working with non-traditional families.
My husband and I have been working with CFS off and on since 2015 (off and on because we lived in charleston, then moved away, and then moved back!). Even through leaving and coming back, we felt like we were known as individuals who are family to the staff at CFS. We went through TI, IUI, and then IVF with CFS, ultimately resulting in the birth of our miracle baby in March 2020. They are positive, caring, professional, and provide exceptional patient care. They are also incredibly good at making babies! We already look forward to our next round of IVF with coastal for our next little miracle.
Dr. Cook and her staff have very bad customer service. They are all about the money. In the three times of trying i saw her twice. In the initial and six months later when i questioned to try something different since it was not working. The male doctor was very aggressive and intrusive. Being seen here was the worst decision i ever made. I wish i could give a negative rating. I waited to do my reviews thinking maybe i was emotional. Me being emotional did not keep the staff from not retuning calls for weeks at a time. Nor does it cause emails to be unanswered. There is no Compassion from anyone in this staff. Then to have a male doctor whom i NEVER seen before address me DURING an already sensitive visit. One review is not enough for the horrific treatment at this facility by the cold hearted money seeking staff. This includes the doctors and nurses not the receptionist she was ok but everyone else down to the financial coordinator shannon was rude , unhelpful and acted like we were bothering them whenever we asked a question. This place is full of liars, conniving, deceitful doctors. Money and time wasted. As a Surgical Tech i never thought i would hate a medical facility so much and with a passion. Update since i cant leave a second review. Your success rate has nothing to do with how you handle patients. Most people just move on and count their losses. Just because some rather not bother does not make it an outstanding clinic once again i am only stating to the ones i encountered i cant speak for the ones i didnt. To think a consolation prize of faxing medical records for free is somehow a resolution in your eyes even says more about how much you handle your patients. I have a copy of what was done after each visit so that is not necessary. Six months three unsuccessful cycles says enough for me. According to the IUI Group on Facebook while you have the Accommodations many are very unhappy and would rather travel to Greenville than to deal with Dr. Cook and the staff that they encountered.
Dr. Schnorr, Jessica Wilkerson and the remaining of the staff are amazing. Each staff member was friendly and compassionate with this sensitive issue of fertility. Dr. Schnorr was incredibly informative and made sure that each of our questions were answered as well as gave us a pathway moving forward!
My husband and I felt that Dr. Schnorr was very knowledgeable and compassionate. I appreciated his ability to reference recent credible research in our conversations. He showed us that he saw us as people with whom he could relate not just patients with a problem. I had a low egg count and conceived after he gave me a testosterone cream in an IVF cycle. We could not be more grateful for everything Dr. Schnorr and Jessica did to help us!
Unorganized office & their staff isn’t on the same page. There’s no online access for test results & I’m also still trying to get mine. They said they’d call me within a week with the results (6+weeks ago) & they didn’t even return my phone call requesting these. The doctor was nice and seemed knowledgeable but the support staff needs work. Also the financial consultant said lab work would be covered by my insurance b/c it was part of compiling a diagnosis but when I came back & had already gotten blood drawn they tried to get me to pay nearly $500 during check out. When I asked for clarification the cashier said it was fertility treatment & my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Spoke with the finance person again & she said insurance should cover it but she couldn’t guarantee it... still waiting to see how that plays out. They also tried to double bill me for my initial visit. I paid in office and then got a bill in the mail for the exact amount I had paid that day. I will not be going back.
Dr Cook and her team are the best! They take the time to clearly explain things and welcome any questions you may have. They listened to our feelings and helped create a plan that worked best for our family. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I wish I could give them 0 stars. Please do not waste your time or money going here. I have been going here for over a year we had many hurdles to go through then when I just think were good to go NOPE! Also highly recommend and mandatory mean the same thing to them... Dr. Slowey will make you feel like just a number doesnt actually care about his patients. They just want your money!*** Thank you for your response but many other clinics don’t require it also we highly recommend and mandatory are completely different so you should probably tell the patients the entire truth from the start and not lie to just get their money*** I spent over a year with this clinic to have to move to a completely different clinic because I was told it’s highly recommend to me that’s a choice that’s left up to the patient and not mandatory
The only thing I can say that all the staff except the front desk, was friendly. In regards of the treatment I was not able to continue for a month or so... due to traveling, my wife was denied services after a cyst burst during the worst time of pandemic and I had to rush her to the emergency, let me add that the cyst just happened to be in the same side as they previously removedalmost which was a size 5.. to only find out at the hospital that a mass was over 7 in size (bigger) it was incorrectly treated and no follow up.Now due to the virus we held no longer and call our suppose doctor Slowey that we have been seen since september of 2019 in fertilization, and secretary told us that they do not follow this condition, unless they are under a fertility treatment!!!This denial of service for an ultrasound and follow up was denied.Note: every gynecologist seen ( we wanted to hear a second opinion) told us that it was incredibly that they denied services all it took was a brief review and case a history which they had in files. We have decided to go across state to continue our fertility.
I loved this office and the docs. Look on facebook and other sites and you will find what I found. They have even won national awards for patient satisfaction. I am so glad we went.Everyone from the person taking my blood to the nurses and financial people. I have never met a doctor that immediately put me at ease and made me feel like I could put my problem in their hands, and they would fix it. We spent an hour with the doctor going over every bit of history, lifestyle, and test results. We left with a written plan on what was ahead. I had feared we would be told IVF, which I know costs a lot, but we were reassured that we had a good chance with IUI. It took just one time and we are expecting. I recommend bring anyone who has ever lost hope of having a family. This place is amazing!
The doctors and nursing staff are great. The accountant and billing have no clue, they do not return calls, emails. I keep receiving bills from embryo storage and I havent had embryos stored there in over a year.
I was referred here from my obgyn to start the process of bringing a little bundle of joy into the world. So far my expectations of this place has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Ive called this location more than 6 times, left an online inquiry with a request for a new patient appointment, spoken with several staff members and have gotten nothing. Since June 5th Ive been constantly transferred to voicemails with no return phone calls. I finally get a phone call from someone from this office only to be disappointed yet again. Why does your office only allow one person to schedule hsg test appointments? That is what I was told on Friday June 7th. Your staff clearly had no problems taking my information and insurance on that day though. They even promised me that Jennifer would call me on Monday to schedule the appointment. Monday came and went without any contact from any of the staff at your office. I called twice today June 11th. Was hung up on the first time and transferred immediately to voicemail the second time. I was not rude. I introduced myself to your staff and explained why I was calling. Still nothing. I demand answers and more professional, courteous customer service! All I want is an appointment!! Is that too much to ask?
Wonderful experience overall. Obviously it wasnt the route we had intended, but they made a bad situation a pleasant one and now we are about to expect our 1st baby next month!. Very happy with the treatment we received there. Dr. Cook was amazing!
Dr. Cook and her nurse Becky were absolutely wonderful!! There are not enough words to thank Dr. Cook and everyone at Coastal Fertility Specialists! I would highly recommend them!
My husband and I were referred there for a semen analysis and when they took him back to the room it was absolutely disgusting. The toilet had urine and feces in it and There was used towels in the room. The front desk staff was unprofessional. I stood at the glass window for several minutes waiting for one of them to open it so i could ask a question but they were to busy ordering pizza. We had a disappointing experience to say the least, and i hope to never have to go back there.
Dr. Slowey & staff are very nice and professional. Everyone I encountered on my visit was smiling & in an upbeat mood. Dr. Slowey explained everything that could possibly go on.
Our intended parents and surrogates always have an excellent experience when working with Coastal Fertility Specialists. We definitely recommend working with them.
They made me feel like part of the family. The entire staff seemed to care about what I was going through and I had such confidence in their experience and recommendations. I also like that they wanted to try the simplest things first. I came here for a second opinion and am so glad I did! I wouldnt go anywhere else now that I have seen how it should be done.
Infertility is a long and hard road to travel. However, the staff at Coastal Fertility in Lexington walked with us through this process. We are now blessed to be parents!
Had an amazing experience with my nurse Tiffany and doctor Mclaughin
This office doesn’t deserve one star, they are that awful. They only care about making money and stringing the process along. The billing department is horrible. They will send bills for procedures paid for in full in the office. When you show receipts they create new procedures they say they forgot to bill. I am considering a lawsuit at this point. I deeply regret going to this office and I wish someone had warned me how awful they are. DO NOT GO HERE
Horrible, horrible experience! I was absolutely humiliated and disrespected in front of the entire staff by the director. My confidentiality was compromised and I feel obligated to warn others of what to expect from Coastal Fertility Specialist in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Been trying for months to schedule an appointment. Playing phone tag. Receptionist who answers the phone does NOT schedule appointments. That’s so ridiculous. They always send me to another line -which is in fact an answering machine. I leave messages. They never call back the same day. They call when I’m busy at work. It’s been like 5 months. All I wake is to freeze some eggs and store them. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Hire more staff!
Wonderful People. They have officially became family
I went into the office for a second opinion and kinda ended up with the same solution I had that has not work for me from a obgyn even though the staff was amazingly nice its not enough to be able to make me recommend this place that wont get your body right unless you have a partner which I feel is unfair bc I need my body to work right I have been suffering painful heavy periods with no options but different birth controls and still not ovulating and Ive took into consideration that I am overweight but its hard to lose weight when hormones are imbalanced Ive tried every diet even starved myself so deep into depression and I keep damaging my health bc I cant get this one problem tooken care of I went looking for hope and felt like I went backwards back to what doesnt work which explained to Dr. Scnorr Im still bleeding heavy still no ovulating still no hope.
The make you and your spouse feel extremely comfortable and answer all of your questions. They seem compassionate and very knowledgeable about their job too. I highly recommend them.
The staff at Coastal Fertility Specialist were absolutely AMAZING! I cannot thank the staff enough for making our dreams finally come true of starting a family :)
Dr Slowley, is amazing! I can honestly say I would want no other man to conceive our child!!! Working on our third with Costal. THANK YOU COSTAL FERTILITY SPECIALISTS!!!!!
This office was extremely pleasant to my husband and I. Every was in such a good spirit. Because of a miracle I did not have to have any treatments done but, the visits I had there were very good!
I had a great experience with Coastal fertility and Dr. Cook. I would highly recommend them. Everyone on staff is friendly and compassionate!
She gave me a second chance at a child after I lost my only child at 18 years old. She was so compassionate and the very beat at what she does!
Unsure why it’s so difficult to speak with anyone on the phone. Was told I’d be contacted regarding my blood work results - I’ve made multiple phone calls and left voicemails with no call back. Women come here for answers and it seems impossible to actually get any.
My husband and I had an awful experience since the second we walked in the door. There are better options, and I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.
Top notch place, top notch doctors. Personally used Dr Cook and adore her.
The best team!
I had very bad experience with this group. We are so disappointed. We spent more than $20k for nothing.
We love this place! The whole staff is friendly and professional!
Dr. Schnorr is an outstanding fertility doctor, offering exceptional care and expertise. His personalized approach and compassionate demeanor create a supportive environment, easing the emotional journey. His knowledge and attention to detail inspire confidence, making her a trusted partner in achieving positive outcomes. Highly recommended for fertility care!
We were thrilled with the care we received at Coastal. Dr. Cook is wonderful - caring and also clear about odds and recommendations, making a confusing process much easier to understand. Becky is one of the best medical providers I’ve ever worked with. I’ve never felt more cared for by a medical professional. Her true investment in her patients is amazing and so helpful when you’re going through this crazy process. Simply put, this is a wonderful practice and, most importantly, they get results!
I truly do not have the words to express my gratitude for Coastal Fertility. Dr. Cook was an incredible doctor who was so kind, patient, cheerful and helped ease the difficult process of infertility for my husband and me! Heather was our nurse and she was such a blessing. She was so prompt with returning my phone calls and emails and was very thorough with helping me understand every step of the process. She was so easy to talk to and I feel like I have a true friendship now! I was even so impressed with Shannon in financials. She was very helpful in helping me understand insurance and breakdowns for cost and even helped me after I was transferred to my OB. I am so grateful for this precious team who want to help families like mine grow. Thank you Coastal Fertility!
