Procedure was fine and nothing special to write home about. The reason for 1 star is the fact that doctor gave me a rough idea of cost at the consult leading up to procedure, day of procedure cost was immensely more than quoted. Then 2 weeks after my procedure I get an additional email stating I owe additional money that was never disclosed to me that is another substantial chunk of change. This place was so vague in the information given and seemed to brush over the hidden fees. Thanks DR. Anderson.
I’m new to this chapter in life, Dr Flynn and the entire staff have displayed positivity and professionalism rarely seen. I am truly thankful and grateful that the Clinic is available in my community. I was uneasy, yet their support and patience was much appreciated!
I am shocked they have as many 5 star reviews as they do. Please find a different Urologist if you can! I had a vasectomy in 2018 (by a different clinic) and have been dealing with pain ever since. This is a known complication known as Post Vasectomy Pain Syndrome (PVPS). The pain started getting worse in late 2023 and I made an appointment with Dr. Modder on 2/6/24 to explore options. I went through the entire history and his response to me was you do enough of these (vasectomies) and youll run into this, sorry, theres not much we can do. A cursory 20 second physical examination followed. He then showed me a flow chart on his computer across the room saying, heres the treatment path we follow but never actually described any of the options or how wed progress down the path. From my own research I know there are several non-invasive and surgical things that can be done. The only option he recommended was pelvic floor physical therapy. I followed through on his referral and the therapist told me I was not a good candidate for it based on my symptoms. So, his only recommendation was a dead end. He asked during the initial appointment that I do a follow up appointment in 4-6 weeks with a Nurse Practitioner. What we were going to follow up on, I do not know. He didnt actually do anything that required further follow up. Maybe if I would of went through with the follow up I could of got somewhere down that flow chart that wasnt discussed during my visit.... Honestly, my best guess is he thought I was only there to get pain meds so he just wanted me out of his office.Anyway I didnt do any follow ups with them as enough of my time was wasted. I am not interested in being tested or playing games to see if I am worthy of a plan of action. I went to a different urologist, got referred down to Froedtert and have a epididymectomy scheduled for 11/7/24. Froedtert was a totally different experience and they were all-in on visit #1. Froedtert was pleasant, professional, action oriented, and competent - all of the things that I look for in a Dr.Again, find a different urologist! All they did at Wisconsin Institute of Urology is waste my time and money.
Experience was very good with excellent surgery results. I am very happy. The only disappointment would have been the time span between initial appointment and the actual surgery which was 3 months.
I only met Dr. Schube for a few minutes before my procedure and I have no recollection of the procedure due to the anesthesia and thats exactly the way I want it. I asked her if she would stay and be my doctor for the rest of my life and she said that that is the plan. She seems very kind and caring and thats all I can ask for in a doctor.
The doctor was very helpful and very informative with the results and the future follow-up. It was a good appointment.
She is really nice and didnt take forever to get me back there and out and I hope to keep her as my dr in the future
I was unsure of why each time I had a procedure done I got a different nurse for a sensitive procedure. I felt very uncomfortable.
She was very freindly and listened to my thoughts on my problem and followed up on them good doctor
Very knowledgeable doctor. He takes time with you to give you the information needed for you to make decisions on your health. He is exceptional.
The staff is friendly and the Dr clearly discussed the results of my tests and my options.
A very compassionate educated Doctor who I believe truly cares. Saved my life and did an amazing job with my surgery. My family and friends are very grateful to Dr. Flynn. Wish I could repay him with more than gratitude.
Staff is friendly and polite, but Im still waiting for some results.
They have done well by me. Doctors and staff listen to you and answer any questions or concerns you have. I put total trust in them.
All the experience Ive had working with Doctor Flynn and all his nurses have been excellent they answered all the questions I need answered and get back to me in a timely fashion if I need more answered, so my experience with them has been beautiful.
Dr. Flynn is truly a professional in the field of urological surgery. His procedure has entirely eliminated my difficulties.
The Dr Kevin j Flynn, seemed in such a hurry to get me in and out as if he was trying to get as many patients through as possible to make more money. He brushed off my condition and just wanted to prescribe painkillers. When its a short one time surgery to permanently fix my problem. Very disappointed. Its worth driving somewhere else to get someone who will see you as a patient and not just dollar signs.
We have some fine doctors here in the Valley. My experience with WIU has been excellent and I am especially grateful to Dr. Lawatsch and Dr. Flynn for a successful surgery to remove my bladder, prostate and part of a kidney all due to cancer. Between surgery and chemotherapy I am now cancer free.
Dr Schubbe is very thorough, provides very clear explanations, options and recommendations, time to be complete and ensures she was understood. Highly recommended!
Dr Fors and his staff have been helpful with my diagnosis & treatment. They always listen & ask the appropriate questions as to what I’m dealing with. I recommend WIU 100% to anyone needing a urologist!
Very good experience Dr Flynn very personable and answered all my questions
Dr.Flynn was amazing with great bedside. He explained the procedure I was having and what the Next steps would be. I wish Dr.Flynn was at Aurora more often not only on call. I can only have procedures done at Aurora because of my insurance ☹️.
This place was fast and effective. I had positive results within a few days. I have had a follow up visit that was very thorough and was given a comprehensive and concise review of my current condition. I would highly recommend this to those in need of these services.
Dr. Salter was absolutely amazing. He was very professional, yet personable. I am always uncomfortable going through my medical history, but never once felt judged or like he had a bias against me (unfortunately, this is a more common occurrence for me with medical professionals). I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Salter.
My husband and I sat down with Dr Lawatsch and discussed all of the concerns that we had and all of the different procedures. He answered all questions and we never felt rushed to be done. My husband had four pages to go over. This is definitely life changing but he made making decisions a little easier.
Communication with this practice is non-existent. Yesterday I brought my partner in for a procedure, after which he was told by the doctor to pick up a prescription on the way home and begin taking it immediately. When we presented at the pharmacy two hours later the prescription had not been called in. Two calls to Wisconsin Urology netted neither a prescription nor even an acknowledgment of any sort; we could not get further than the answering service for the triage nurses. One attempt this morning has not been any more successful. The message states that we are not to leave repeat messages. So, they don’t respond to initial messages, or repeat messages. Other than presenting in person to ask questions, not sure how to get in contact with a nurse at Wisconsin Urology.
I am in my post TURP recovery phase. On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, I passed a large mass when I went to void. I called WIU to find out if this was to be expected. The nurse was not sure and said that she would have to consult with Dr. Fors. I suppose I should be grateful that I finally got a response on Monday, February 12, 2024, five days after I called to ask, that yes, this can be expected during the recovery phase. It would be nice if patients were told in advance what they should, and shouldn’t expect during recovery. I also had to endure 3+ days of intense bladder spasms because the catheter wasn’t properly draining the bladder. I used MyChart to send a message to Dr. Fors and he never responded. My initial instinct was to go back to the emergency room, but a call back from your staff assured me that this was to be expected.
Every staff member here has been top notch in costumer service and professional beyond expectations!
Met with Amber for first time today and I felt she was very informed and did alot of digging and switched out prescription for one I wouldnt be allergic to.I felt very comfortable with her. Have always met with Dr Fors or Heather.
Dr schubbe is kind, compassionate, and takes time to answer all your questions.
My Urologist provided a thorough evaluation on the first day we met and helped decide which route was best for me. Office personnel were helpful with prior authorization and communication with my other doctors to set up my surgery. I felt very welcome there and was introduced to my team right away on first appointment so I could see them after surgery. The range of services offered there is amazing.
I have been seeing Dr. Atassi for numerous years who was in my opinion a fantastic doctor. When he retired I was referred to another urologist Dr Flynn who Dr Agassi said was a very excellent and thorough doctor. So I agreed to see him but unfortunatelyi have never yet got to see and meet my new urologist. I been canceled and rescheduled three times since November 2023. Finally in February 2024 they scheduled me to see one of his associates Emily Klitzke PA/ nurse practitioner. She seems very knowledgeable and I dont have anything against her. But everytime one of my regular primary doctors retire I always seem to get a PA/ nurse practitioner and not a doctor anymore?? I guess Wisconsin is running out of doctors? 🥴 and has one of the worst medical boards out of all the states! So now Ill be seeing Emily Klitzke PA Never did get to meet the Dr. I was referred to!!!!.… PS. I also go to the VA Clinic where the same thing happened to me also my doctor at the VA Clinic retired and I was referred to a PA / nurse practitioner!!
It’s great when you find a place like this where you are truly treated as valuable and important. When I came in with a kidney stone they not only fitted me into their schedule but made sure I received the treatment I needed the same day! Everyone on the team was excellent and professional.
Very straightforward, made things easy to understand for me.
Much like several other poor reviews I would absolutely give a zero star as well if possible..! My experience was as identical to a woman who also wrote as review which inspired me to write this review after read hers.I will keep mine brief and touch on couple issues that have been concerning to me. Number I was hospitalized with kidney stones roughly 2 wks ago.I went to the ER on Sunday and was admitted to the hospital. The following day I spoke to a urologist who said he thought I could have a chance at passing the stone and that I could be released with pain medication to help manage my pain ( which was a 10 and why I went to the ER in the first place) they also gave me a 3 day supply and instructed me to call after the 3 days if I was still in pain which I did. I called on Wednesday knowing they were going to run out. I called (and left messages on the nurses voicemail) Wednesday-Friday 3 times a day and never received a phone call which in my opinion is totally unacceptable , cruel and inhumane in my opinion.Next since I’ve been of off work I’ve need FMLA paperwork which we all know is time sensitive.. AGAIN I have been calling multiple times a day since last Thursday today is thanksgiving and have yet to receive a call back from Jessica..Very disappointing and unprofessional.. Not only did I have to suffer through severe pain for days now I’m getting caused stress due to this negligence of not taking care of my paperwork.. I swear if I could afford it I would sue this place for negligence.. I honestly cannot express how disgusted I am with this place. I would under no circumstances EVER recommend nor encourage anyone to go here..Please take this as a warning and heed my advice..
I had a minor procedure with an expected recovery of a month or two. My recovery took 6 months to a tolerable level.
Friendly staff. Caregiver listened to my concerns. Explained labs and medications well.
I was not pleased with my urology appointment I felt rushed felt not listened I did not appreciate it one bit then the doctor just handed me samples or a medication for 6 weeks and said take thisYou don’t even know what’s going on no testing just a dignose that I don’t have and out of the office you go I don’t recommend Tricia Koch at all
Doesn’t seem to care much. Everyone was beyond nice. But no urgency. I was to have physical therapy. Waited 3 weeks for them to call. I just looked up YouTube videos and did it on my own. And then they want almost 1k…
Everything was wonderful except when it was time to leave I had to wait to be checked out. I had to wait 20 minutes. The lady was on the phone and there was no one else there but three empty desks.
Impossible to get a hold of anyone to answer questions about issues that came up. Had to push for testing for a uti because they didn’t think I had one from my catheter. Even after it was confirmed, it took several days and multiple phone calls to get any medication to help the pain. Had better luck at urgent care getting the support I needed.
What told i should get a ct scan and scope. Everyone was happy /friendly and was also happy with the care until after my scan. U was given no fallow up appointment or even a call to explain my scan and scope. When i called i was asked if i can see my results online, as if they dont have the time to review results. Thats fine if the point of the scan, maybe everything is normal but at a minimum i expect someone to review and report results to me in person or over the phone. Definitely feel like maybe the scan wasnt needed or because they cant make more money off me that im not a priority at all.
The Check in person appeared to be new but polite and thorough. The nurse that performed my CT scan was outstanding. Had a great smile that spilled over into politeness and helpfulness. I’m 68 and she left an impression on me.
Dr. Kevin Flynn is very professional and does a thorough job. He puts you at ease and is very friendly and kind and he listens to his patients. When it comes to surgery he is very thorough and does a professional job. The staff at the office is excellent and also very professional.
When I called on Friday in severe pain the nurse I spoke with said she’d check with my provider to see what they wanted to do. Never got a call back, ended up in the emergency room. But my follow up appointment with Kelly was amazing & we came up with a treat plan.
Dr Schubbe is absolutely amazing, compassionate, caring, kind and very knowledgeable. She treated my father with such respect and explained next steps to my mom & me on a professional level. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing care. I am beyond thankful my dad has her handling his situation.
Have been overwhelmed with the compassion and attention for all of my medical needs. They truly make you feel at ease while informing you of the process for treatment and recovery. I would rate higher if I could
Dr Madder is a professional and he listened to me. We had an open and honest conversation about important factors that resulted in a plan we both felt comfortable with moving forward. I highly recommend Dr Madder!
Nurses we nice was not impressed with Nurse Practioner gave a month worth of medication to take 30 never told what they did. Had to call primary nurse to tell me. Spent a total of 15 minutes 2 appointments and informed me I needed a permanent catheter. Plus, fat shamed me. She ordered kidney ultrasound and never put in order, I had to call them to tell to do so.
Dr scutter immediatly identified urinary infection, proscribed antibiotics which immediately stopped my long time burning problem!
Dr. Salter is amazing and really takes the time to explain things in a way people can understand. She also takes a step by step approach rather than doing everything at once, which was nice for my situation. I wanted to exhaust other options before surgery, and then knew other things werent working, so we did go the surgical route, but I was happy to know it needed to be done to fix my issueAll the nurses over at the surgical center were ah-mazing. Bob was my post op nurse, and he was phenomenal. A saint! He kept encouraging me, even after 3 hours of post op care due to pain and other issues. I couldnt have asked for a better nurse. THANK YOU BOB!!The only reason for 4 stars is the time it takes for nurses to call back at times, but I also understand they have a lot of patients. :)
Very good service. Addressed all concerns
Dr Salter did not follow established medical procedures and failed to use local anesthesia correctly. They laughed as I was in pain and commented that others jumped from the table. She doesn’t deserve to be board certified and should be investigated.
Kristen Donner is a great medical provider. She has awesome communication skills and makes the appointment enjoyable! I look forward to having her as my provider in the future.
They always take great of me when I have a problem. Thank you
Seen Dr. Salter for kidney stones after being in urgent care and being referred to her. Spent 2 days in so much discomfort I couldn’t work. In my opinion she did nothing but take my money. No remedy at all and told me there was nothing I could do for the discomfort. She in the end referred me to physical therapy. For a kidney stone?!!!! Will never go back unless I have no other choice.
Very satisfied with the care. Even if Dr is running behind, I never feel rushed & he always takes the time to answer any concerns I may have. He explains medical issues very well.
Two different staff members lied to me about a consultation charge. I asked when setting up an appointment over the phone, Do you provide free consultations and the staff member said yes. I then asked at the front desk when I showed up for said consultations and once again asked to confirm and the front desk staff told me its free. Well, after my consultation, they asked for my insurance information to see what the cost of the procedure will be so I provided it. Turns out both staff members lied to me and the institute charged my insurance. They charged me $371 for 30 minutes of their time. Also, my insurance says Approved Amount should only be $107.01. So, they also are clearly over charging on top of that. What a joke, you either need to better educate your staff, or you need to get better business practices.UPDATE: changed from 1 star to 4. I spoke with Dawn in billing who was able to confirm this mix-up and she was able to get everything taken care of. Thank you to everyone at WiOU for resolving my issue.
Great atmosphere, helpful people. Just wish scheduling my surgeries didn’t have to go out so far. My surgeries need to occur sooner than having to wait a couple months.
Short wait times for the Doctor who was spot on with the medication that has resolved my problem.
Sad Dr Kolbek retired. Had to have Phy Assistant (Salter) do bladder scope. Running very late. Treated like I was on assembly line - barely said a word to us. Didn’t fill bladder with water properly, sooo painful thought she was going to perforate my bladder. I have had approx 20 scopes done, BCG treatments ect & I’ve NEVER experienced pain like that before. Horrible experience with this person. Reached out to director 6 times & was told she’d call me following day - left 3 voice message & has not called me. Years of excellent care until now!
I will never go back here again.Dr.Salter was the one i seen,2 times only....couldnt get a answer on a biopsy for prostate,immediately..got a second referral, found out the cancer travelled throughout my body..wisconsin urology were not very good at follow up..myself,i am in serious danger..I am grateful i decided to change course,.Myself,i am in serious trouble..no stars.and will not reccommend them to anybody..
It is hard to put into words how much I appreciate Dr.Kevin Flynn and his staff for the care and compassion shown to my wife and I. Thank you!!
I had an appointment with Dr. Schubbe about two weeks ago due to my elevated PSA. She was super nice and very professional. She helped me schedule a procedure with Dr. Modder because she wouldn’t be available to do that before I left for an out of town trip. Dr. Modder was great and made me feel very comfortable during the entire procedure. Two days after the procedure, Dr. Schubbe called to let me know the results as soon as she got them. I was very grateful for that. Also love the staff I met over there including the nurses and the receptionists. They were just fantastic.
Pleasant. Explained everything and answered all of my questions
Dr Attassi is an excellent doctor and corrected my situation completely, he is truly a great person and I feel very blessed that he is my doctor.
Dr Schubbe did not take the time to research my particular situation. She was to concerned about prescribing a particular prescription medication. She was not at ALL concerned about her patients pain level after a surgery. It’s very concerning that she cared more about justifying not prescribing meds than her patients well-being. I would not recommend her to anyone else whose experiencing kidney stones.
It is very nice and professional. I appreciate that!
Dr. Schubbe is amazing. She has helped me regulate my hormones. I feel like myself again!
Went in for ESWL, I was extremely nervous but everyone was very nice and explained everything in detail. All of my nurses, Dr Murphy and anesthesiologist were great. Really impressed with the level of care I received.
Incompetent. Waiting over a month for surgery and when I called the week before to verify they told me I wouldn’t be able to have it in their clinic. Made me reschedule 2 months out. They were “sorry” but nobody could do anything to help in the meantime. Waste of time.
Dr. Flynn was very thorough at explaining what I needed to know. Very satisfied.
I have needed help with kidney pain since mid February. Office appointments were scheduling 3 weeks out for the initial visit. Then the PA ordered 2 unnecessary tests, running my bill up significantly. And now my stone is BIGGER and more painful and the surgery to remove it can’t be scheduled at their surgical center because they are discriminating against people with larger sized bodies, so I have to get a hospital appointment at ThedaCare and the next available isn’t until March 30. I have no idea how I’m going to live with this pain for another 3 weeks!
RNs seemingly incapable of replacing a Foley cath. Forgot to inflate, landing me in the local ER for 4 hours that night. In agony, with a bladder ready to bust.ER nurses confirmed cath was NOT defective and that the nurse at WIU was negligent. They race you in and out like cattle.Calling clinic results in immediate refutation of their incompetence: When in doubt, blame the catheter. Sorry WIU, we got you here. Not a drop or urine bagged, absolutely ruling out the slow leak you allege could have happened. Cath proved fine. You werent.
I went through a Vasectomy Consultation here and the receptionist and the lady you talk to after your consultation in billing told me my balance was only 105 dollars owed the day of surgery and insurance covered the rest. Come to find out 3 months after surgery they arent even an in network provider which was NEVER disclosed to ME!!! They are Thiefs!
I cannot say enough about the professionalism of everyone with whom I worked during my recent examination. From the front desk to the lab technologist to the nurse who performed my renal ultrasound to Dr. Schubbe, who reviewed with me the results, all personnel contributed to an excellent healthcare experience.
Trisha and Cheyanne (sp?) are great!
Dr Salter injected Botox into my bladder, as it was supposed to help overactive bladder, sudden urges & help me be more active. Was the worse choice. Now I urinate more frequently, dont empty my bladder entirely (sit on comode) up to 10 minutes to try to empty. During my procedure she was doing another procedure/surgery on another patient. Follow up visit was scheduled for 02/2/23 & arrived & Salter was on vacation. Definitely dont recommend her
My son received treatment from this location and doctors were great and helpful but front office was hard to talk to and cold. I attempted to seek treatment with this location and after 2 online requests and 1 phone message, no one contacted me back.
Dr. Fors is an outstanding surgeon and urologist! Ill always be grateful for all he has done for me! The office staff has been mostly OK, although I learned of my Cancer diagnosis from a clerk in a phone call which I felt was inappropriate.
There was only a brief wait on arrival. Test results were explained in understandable detail. Alternatives were offered and there was no pressure for one course of treatment over others.
Huge waste of time. Dont come for a vasectomy unless your 30+ years old, youll probably get denied. Made the appointments about a month ago so things would be clear by our wedding, now we probably wont even be able to get it done by then, let alone it be clear. Never thought age would be a reason for denial, maybe a heads up next time would be great. How dare we not want to have kids young I guess, especially when female birth control causes issues for me. At least they didnt charge us for it, which is where the two stars came from, but still, I dont see the issue and idk why we werent told this sooner when we could have made other plans that wouldnt be a waste and wouldnt add more stress to getting married. Hopefully they can help find someone who will do it, if so my review will change, and Id love to leave a good one.
My partner went for a procedure and was very nervous. I promised I would accompany him for it. I was told I could not go back, but the nurse said she would double check. Nobody came back. I went to ask the front desk and they said a nurse told them they had already done the procedure - I saw the woman they claimed was the nurse. While I waited for my partner to be released, another man exited from the back with his wife in tow.I later asked my partner what his nurse looked like. The description did not remotely match the “nurse” who said his procedure was already done. I asked if anyone knocked on the door, came in, called in, or exited while he was in there. He denied any of this. I asked if he was okay doing it alone - he said he still preferred I would have been there. The anxiety med he was given did NOT take the edge off.WI Institute of Urology does not respect the wishes of their patients and also apparently doesn’t apply their policies across the board. They also lied about who his nurse was. Thanks for making my partner go through his procedure without support.
The doctor listened, addressed my concerns and changed my prescription.
Awesome people that really care.
Im very happy with my results of my care and treatment. Im disappointed with the response times when I call to communicate with the nursing staff. Regards Tony Trzebiatowski
All staff were friendly and our visit was very helpful. The only concern was not being able to schedule out to an annual appointment, day/time.
The greatest doctors. And nursesIm very happy with the surgery went great
This is Steve, his son. Recent visit I brought Garland in with sp catheter issues. Supposedly fixed/adjusted. 2 hours later same issue arose again this time after 5pm. Told to go to emergency spent 5hrs there to adjust the catheter.
Dr Lawatsch is great. He listens and acts accordingly. The best doctor that I go to! I like WIU because they can do testing on site. One stop shopping.
Felt really cared for and listened to. Left there feeling they had my best interest at heart.
Amber Mascaro, NP and the entire team provided great treatment and went above and beyond in navigating an insurance issue
Very comfortable place. Great friendly support staff and professional providers!
Always had a great experience there. Clean place, friendly people and they always answered my questions as honestly as they could.
Dr. Vlach and Miranda were absolute professionals throughout my procedure. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed despite how potentially awkward I imagine the situation could be. I always knew what to expect and communication was Grade A from my initial visit all the way through recovery. I can not recommend this team enough.
I saw Heather Beck for my annual psa. Also, for recurrent uti’s recently. Heather’s approach to my issues made sense and resolved the uti issue I believe.
Staff was great, less impressed with the doctor and did not love getting a call at almost eight at night on a Friday saying I needed to make an appointment but never mentioning with who! I had to google just to find out it wasnt spam.
I went for a Kinney stone check up.did not have a urine sample taken .went into office to discuss my stone.talked about what they looked like a year ago.already knew that.had a xray taken on the way out and never heard from the Doc after I left.payed $50.00 copay for what.? Very disappointed..
My husband developed sepsis from his catheter. Called them with concerns, brushed us off. Ended up in ER. Never got to see a Dr. until we INSISTED. Terrible experience!
Love Dr. Murphy. He is absolutely awesome. Found one of the nurses beyond rude who talked down to me as if Im a child. The rest of the staff were fantastic.
All very friendly & competent.Kirsten is great! She follows through till she gets solutions
Please be very careful with the entire staff that work here...they are not compassionate people at all. You really should consider going somewhere else
Had to find a new urologist because mine was retiring. With needing to move beyond just meds, for proper bladder function, I looked on line for options. The UroLift procedure I discovered available sounded the best to me. So when researching where to further pursue this, the Wisconsin Institute of Urology at Neenah Wisconsin was not only closest, but also designated as a Clinic of Excellence by the originators of that procedure. So after making an appointment to council with Dr. Omar Atassi, he recommended that option as my next best step. I liked what I heard & proceded to implementation. So glad I found the Neenah clinic & Dr Atassi, at the time! Since then, all is back to normal for me, with no issues and great followup care by Tricia Koch, APNP and all the other providers there. Very pleased!! Thank you Neenah Wisconsin Institute of Urology!!!!
The Dr and receptionist are all friendly and treat you with respect and in a timely manner. Id recommend too a friend.
I worked with Dr. Fors who was willing to do a surgery off-site at the same time as another surgery I was having at a local hospital. He was professional, courteous, informative, and made me feel comfortable through the entire process. The only issue I had was with the billing department. If I could give two ratings I would give 5 starts for the surgeon and 1 star for billing.Billing review: I received a phone call with one day warning that I needed to pay for my operation in full. I was told that I was surprised by this and was lectured about how I was definitely sent a letter about this a few weeks ago. After communicating that I personally review the mail for my household and didnt receive it, and receiving a combative response, I paid the bill. This payment also (as I would have learned in the letter but wasnt told over the phone) was just an estimate and I later received another bill for an additional $750+ I had to call the billing department again to have them apply the original payment to this total and I still owed over $165. The total cost for Vasectomy was almost $1,900! I called to ask about the astronomical price and was simply told that it was accurate with no reason why it was so much higher than other people charge in the area. That isnt right..beware.Even with the bad taste in my mouth from the billing department, my overall surgical experience was good.I wouldnt want my review to negatively reflect Dr. Fors at all. The surgery was quick, and the scar/recovery was excellent.Just be prepared to pay fully, up front and pay much more than you would elsewhere for a 30 minute procedure. WI Institute of Urology, Spell the up front cost and payment out, during the first meeting, and call much sooner than 1 day before payment is due (or appointment is cancelled) because this is a tough economy and all it will do is help your business get paid, avoid cancellation, help the client, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
My husband saw Dr Atassi for his vasectomy. The office staff where very friendly. When Dr Atassi came in, he right away showed he has great bedside manner. He helped my husband feel more comfortable about the appointment with making some jokes with him. He was very honest and up front about the procedure. When it came time for surgery, my husband chose in office. His staff where very nice every step of the way. He again came in with jokes with lighten the mood. My husband felt comfortable the whole time. He would highly recommend anyone to see Dr Atassi.
Several visits, all had merit
They were all every efficient from the time I cleared the front door until I left. Very pleasant place and personal.
All good very happy with results
Thank you to the entire team from the receptionist to the nurses and Doctors. Thank you for everything ❤️ truly appreciated everything you did helping me live a more enjoyable life.
Dr Flynn was very nice and explained everything and didn’t rush you out quickly. I would refer him to my friends if they needed a urologist.
After they read my email on Monday morning, they quickly arranged my kidney stone surgery for Wednesday morning.
Love Dr. FORS. He is patient and kind and listens. Great personality. I recommend him all the time.
This is by far the WORST medical facility in Wisconsin. They provided my dad with the incorrect antibiotics after a biopsy which ended up leading to sepsis. When he called for his results he was told that he has cancer in one area and the doctor would call him back with details and next steps. 4 hours later the doctor called and said all samples were negative and he doesn’t have cancer. If you actually want to survive a simple procedure, accurate results, and someone actually competent to speak to, avoid this place.
Excellent place and an excellent doctor.
Dr. Atassi is an absolute wizard. Ive been coming to him for over 2 years and he has the steadiest hand, the best manner and a wonderful sense of humor. I wouldnt trade him for any provider in the state.
Dr. Atassi and his staff were unbelievable. Respectful, calming, and considerate. It was overall the best experience I could have asked for given the procedure. Very happy and highly recommend Dr. Atassi to anyone.
Very thorough and right to the point. He does not waist time
Very good facility and doctors. Great follow-up. Answered all of my questions.
Very professional, talented and skilled at their profession, great bedside manner, very knowledgeable.
Scheduling staff are incompetent! Was sent here from the V.A. instead of going to Milwaukee... What a waste of time... TWO months ago was my 1st appointment and was told they couldnt do anything until I brought them a disc w/ my photos/X-Rays... I dropped it off 2 days later.. Keep trying to schedule procedure and nobody knows where my disc went...
Treated very well and professionally. Staff very friendly. Took care of me very well.
The personnel Ive dealt with have always been very knowledgeable and very professional.

Great place with amazing Doctors.
Every person that I had contact with at the Wisconsin Institute of Urology Surgical Center was very professional and caring. I would recommend treatment there to anyone needing their services.
The doctor and ma were amazing. Kept me laughing and informed with the procedure step by step through the whole process. It literally took 13 minutes i wish i would have done it sooner
Everyone there was so nice and my visit went really smooth it felt like I was in and out.
Scheduling was not good , communication was not good , but people were nice when I was there , kinda like the left hand didnt know what the right hand was doing

As a Cystinuria patient who frequently passes stones and needs surgery often, they take care of me when I need them. They wont take care of my major kidney surgeries but every time I went it went smoothly
Very professional and polite. Also knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks to all personal
I was in the hospital and they made an appointment for me to follow up with this provider. She was not even sure why I was there. A renal ultrasound was done on 9/25 and have yet to get any results. Took a week with another provider here to get a prescription and that landed me in the hospital thus the reason I had to return. Those answering the phones are down right nasty.
Great staff they listen to you and are very caring.
Annual checkup went well. My doctor answered all my questions to satisfaction.

They are truly amazing at what they do and also work very well as one big team.
Brought my mother here for her appointment, hoping this procedure gives her some relief!
Surgeons are highly skilled but clinic communication is poor internally and with patients.
Timely, honest, professional and pleasant with a little radiological humor thrown in. Thank you.
Dr.Lawatch was VERY easy to talk to and understand his answers to my questions.
My provider was patient , listened to my concerns, and offered multiple approaches to explore
Good people, I wish I had meet with them much sooner.
