People were friendly and helpful. The center was spacious and very clean. My issue was I needed to have ear wax removed and the nurse assistant could not have been nicer. I got some great advice about an ear wax removal kit from Amazon.
The preliminary interview went quickly. The nurse was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. She resolved an issue with my payment before I even asked her to do it! The appointment with the doctor went quickly. She was to-the-point, with no repeated questions, which kept the appointment brief. All follow ups were made timely as well.
We were seen earlier in the day and required X-rays. Initial read of X-ray was negative but the doctor put a stat read to pediatric radiology and right before closing time they called advising that pediatric radiology had in fact found a small fracture. They waited for us to return to have it splinter until she could get into an orthopedic the next day. The nicest and most caring staff ever! So appreciative for them!
Thank you Christiana urgent care on College ave. They listen and actually pay attention to your needs. I first interacted with Dalton at the front desk, who was very kind, and helpful. Then Kathryn Benson, the Nurse Practitioner assessed me, she was knowledgeable, and professional..she answered all my concerns. I am a retired LPN, and I only give praise where it is truly deserved.
Ive had to come here twice recently and both times the staff was calm and very competent and certainly capable. I dont get sick often, but if I need timely care, this is a place to which I would return.
Very professional in a compromised setting.Emergency care is out front in the Star Campus complex, Not on the North side. That is the PT office. The PT facility has easy access, not just close parking. At GoHealth there is a large curb with uneven rolled edge. Be careful! We signed in online ahead of time and getting in was a snap.Really friendly staff. Knowledgeable Physicians Assistant did a thorough exam and we were quickly on our way.
Was so easy making an appointment online & going through the steps to get on the zoom call. The nurse that took my info before the zoom was very nice & caring. I talked to the PA & she was excellent. She listened to all I said & was very helpful. I would definitely use this again
I was seen fairly quickly and ushered back to one of the treatment rooms. However, I waited for about half an hour in that room--no one came to check on me, explain the delay, etc. The doctor finally came in, spent about 5 minutes with me, and prescribed cephalexon to treat cellulitis. When I got the prescription and read the possible side effects, I wondered if the doctor had read in my file that I have IBS, tendency to diarrhea, and other problems that might preclude taking a heavy dose (4 pills a day for 10 days) of this drug. I decided not to take it, and I have an appointment to see my dermatologist to have him take a look and suggest another treatment option.
I love the fact that I could save my spot online/book an appointment online. Check-in was easy and seamless. The care my son received was thoughtful and appropriate.
Getting into urgent care I fell because there is no curb cut out in front of Urgent care. . 2 employees came out to help me up. Other than that the care inside was fine
Amazing service! Online check was a breeze. Staff friendly, respectful and responsive. Received stitches and was out with in 30 minutes. Five stars service!
Im giving a one star due to the incompetence & run around they give you when you have to go home after going to an in person visit when you were sick, they covid test you there but cant give you the results for 3-5 days, tell you to go buy an at home covid test & if youre then positive call back & they will gladly prescribe you medication. WHICH IS A LIE!! I had to play phone tag which was 6 calls from 6 different locations, which took up my whole morning still sick btw, all to get told I NOW NEED AN VIRTUAL APPOINTMENT TO GET PRESCRIBED PREDNISONE! ITS ALL A MONEY MAKING RACKET! Im beginning to hate doctors. Theyre not in it to help ppl or save lives its all for their pockets!
Came in with an appointment and was taken right on time. Staff was friendly and caring. The PA was very concerned and arranged for additional testing right away for what turned out to be a DVT in my leg.
Best Christianacare urgent facility I’ve ever been to! Professional staff and providers. Thank you for a good experience as this is the first good experience I’ve had at one of these urgent cares.
I had a decent sized laceration on my hand that was bleeding after I cut my hand with a chef knife trying to open cheese. They took me back right away and they were able to help me stop the bleeding and assess the laceration!
My friend went here to get help for a cough, she was barely checked by the female doctor who only checked her back with a stethoscope and barely looked at her throat, no tests were done and she was sent home with it being allergies... told to take zrytec... went to another urgent care turns out she has severe bronchitis so im sorry if you have to encounter this same doctor because you will probably never get diagnosed right just dont waste your time going here
Everyone was very pleasant and kind. Quick service. The doctor explained my medical situation well.
I really appreciate the televisit, done in 8 minutes, didnt have to go out, Penny the NP was great! I recommend this for minor ailments... Absolutely satisfied
Everyone at this location is friendly, professional, and respectful! My 9 year old ONLY wants to go to the star campus when she doesn’t feel good! 5/5 doesn’t even begin to describe how WONDERFUL this place is!!
I made an appointment for next morning walked in checked in very simple. Sat down got called right back. Very efficient process. Out in 15 minutes, always clean
Overall had a pleasant experience. No wait. Easy to get an appointment. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Physician assistant was great. I gave four stars instead of five because I had a back injury and struggled to get up the curb outside. There was nothing to hold on to. And once inside none of the chair had arms to get out of once sitting so I had to stand the entire appointment.
First experience with them, young doctor refused to give my husband antibiotics for an tooth infection. She said she wasnt a dentist. No help. And they recorded his insurance info all wrong which took them months to sort out. Second experience, the doctor dressed in full safety gear acted as if my husband had the black plague. He stood across the room and then barely examined him. He had a sinus infection! At least they got the insurance info right this time. But they charged his credit card without billing him first which they promised Not to do! There are other urgent cares around go to them!
The staff and the providers where awesome, friendly and efficient. The provider DR. John is simply amazing he even called to check on my child a few days later to make sure she was feeling better. I would recommend this urgent care to all of my family. Thank you for your service
From the front desk to the Med Tech to the Doctor everyone was professional and courteous. The facility was amazing. I would highly recommend Christiana Care-Go Health Urgent Care. They are a 10 out of 10 for me.
The billing nightmare continues. Trying to get goheath to resubmit a corrected claim to my insurance for over three months now. Never pay out of pocket until your insurance claim processes!
Came in with a deep cut on my thumb from a dumb mistake, the staff was really friendly, the doctor was great, funny and hooked me up with a walk-in appointment down the road with a plastic surgeon. The place was really clean and barely any wait. I HIGHLY recommend this over other urgent cares in the area!!
Dr was pushing Covid symptoms over everything. Once I kept saying I know I have an ear infection and that’s my only symptom she mostly shut me down and told me I don’t even tho I had a nurse confirm the day before I had one. The weirdest interaction I’ve had with a dr and I’ve gone to many in my life.
I made an appointment so as not to have to wait too long. I registered online in advance and arrived early. Everybody has been nice but I have waited 1 hour past my appointment time and still not seen by a doctor. No emergencies have arrived. This is not acceptable.
I went to the center at 1115am yesterday with a severe case of bronchitis. I was concerned I was going to be hospitalized. Beginning with intake the tech was kind considerate and caring taking vitals and wishing me well. The doctor was fantastic. She listened to my concerns showed genuine empathy and expressed her desire to help. Almost 24 hours later based on her medications I see recovery way faster than I expected. I just want to say Thank you.
The staff was very friendly and went out of there way to cheer up my daughter, after getting upset that she couldnt get the test done for strep throat because she felt like she was going to be sick. Shes nine years old and autistic. Then I go to get her prescriptions at the pharmacy and they are completely out of the cough medicine that they prescribed, so I called them and they were very helpful with giving me some help with what to buy over the counter.
I love this place! I’ve been there twice, they’re super quick! Literally saw me as soon as I finished giving all my info. And they’re all very nice too!
Took my elderly mother when she had abdominal pain. No patients waiting. Got right in. Initial staff was great. Doctor asked a few questions. Said she was jaundiced and needed to go to real ER. Real ER diagnosed gastroenteritis, not jaundiced at all. No real exam by urgent care doctor because they closed in an hour and she didnt want to be bothered. I guess the other option is just a terrible doctor who cant really see yellow skin.
I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the doors. I was not feeling well and that made me feel a little better. Everyone there was kind, welcoming, and made me feel cared about. Your entire team has a fabulous attitude at this location.
Great people, great care. I felt well taken care of by the whole staff. Thank you!
The provider was kind, caring, and within five minutes, a prescription was sent to my pharmacy.
I was there last night. This place is the best! The girl who checked me in was absolutely wonderful. The doctor was very nice and thorough. I was in and out. Thanks for the great experience!
Been twice, great both times. Everyone is so nice and very efficient.
I cant say enough good things about this place (and I almost dont want to, because I like how its never busy)! We are always seen in a timely manner. Were here frequently, thanks to my germy kiddo. :) Every staff member we encounter is always so professional, caring, and kind. Theyre great with kids (the providers, the assistants, and even the scribe)! We come here instead of bothering with our PCP for minor illnesses because the experience is so much easier and more pleasant.
Appointment was easy; check in easy. Staff was friendly. Dr. James was thorough, informative, and courteous. Great experience.
Great experience! The staff was so friendly and my daughter got seen right away. The doctor had a great bed-side manner.
The staff and especially the nurses were super attentive to mybneeds, despite how much of a pain I could be.
I’ve been here before and usually it’s a great experience. But today I had such a negative experience. The intake nurse was training another person and they treated me like I wasn’t a human being in an urgent care for pain. Didn’t even ask me half the questions directly, just said “so then we ask them this question” and stared at me. Asked me a medical question outside of the exam room in front of many people and made me incredibly uncomfortable about it. Absolutely awful, and it took 30 minutes. So I sat there for 30 minutes feeling like I wasn’t a person. The only reason this isn’t 1 star is because the doctor herself was phenomenal, very friendly and helpful.
So convenient to be able to save our place in line. We got a quick strep diagnosis. The PA we saw was very personable and kind.A script was called into the pharmacy including an antibiotic and a steroid to treat pain symptoms which was very much appreciated because most doctors only prescribe an antibiotic but the pain of strep throat lingers longer. This worked so much faster.
I’ve been using Star campus urgent care off and on since it opened. It’s convenient, clean, and there’s rarely a long wait. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this location.
Honestly the best urgent care ive been to. And thats an understatement. The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable. All the way from reception to the doctors. The facility was clean and organized, they were training someone during my visit and made sure i was comfortable with them doing so. Definitely recommend this location!
This was a terrific experience all around. I walked in to the ChristianaCare STAR campus clinic Tuesday to see if I might be able to be seen to get a flu test and to have someone listen to my lungs because I was coughing and congested and had had pneumonia a couple of years before. They were so nice to me. They were totally full that day but made me an appointment for 8 oclock the following morning. I really felt cared for. The next morning the front staff was again friendly and helpful as was the medical assistant who saw me first, Im sorry I dont remember her actual position, and the doctor was helpful and direct. I even called later in the day to ask a question and as busy as I knew they were the staff was equally as friendly and helpful. The place was so fresh and new, and that was great also. You all will be my urgent care center for the foreseeable future. I will recommend you to anyone who is looking.
Service was fast and on point. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this facility.
Office was clean and neat..Front desk staff was nice..Nurse practitioner was thorough with his treatment and explanations!.My issue was the nurse who took my son’s vitals..She asked a question and he answered “nah”..Understandably she expected a “no” and understandably she vocalized it by saying “I’m not your boy”..The issue was her explaining “this ain’t jail”..My son is a young black man, with locs and tattoos..He is also a college student, a social media influencer and a nerd..His beautiful dark skin, his beautiful long thick hair, and his beautiful ink shouldn’t be an indication that he would know prison vernacular..
I had a jornet sting that had become worrisome. Everyone was polite, professional, and expressed concern. The doctor evaluated my swollen hand, prescribed mefication and care, and suggested that I follow up with my primary. I did as she suggested. Positive response to meds. Did not need to see my primary. Thank you! ☺️
I went to the MAU at Star Campus a day after having had a fall to make sure the pain and swelling were not signs of fracture. I was seen after a short wait and x-rayed. I was examined by the doctor who reviewed and discussed my x-ray and I left with wrist braces to help my wrists and hands during healing. The staff and doctor were courteous, helpful and efficient. The MAU and staff are wonderful community resources.
My husband went here because he was very short of breath and had pain in his back. Rather than make a good medical decision and do a chest X-ray and an EKG, they prescribed muscle relaxers and told my husband to go to see his primary. The doctor said I part time. Fast forward 5 days, my husband has pneumonia that was found in a check X-ray. Part time quack doctor, you put my husband’s life in jeopardy, you are a disgrace and should surrender your medical license.
Friendly and prompt care. The staff took all necessary steps in diagnosing my son. They have radiology on site so you are not sent elsewhere for x-rays. I would highly recommend them for a walk-in.
I came in today with a 1:24 appointment. Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to spend 30 seconds with the provider. Unfortunately this is not the worst part of the visit. I was waiting in the waiting room and was called back by a very soft spoken tech. I asked her to raise her voice a little because people couldn’t hear her. Long story short she told me she couldn’t because she had cancer and said “some people still have to work when they are sick.” She proceeded to continue her attitude with me until she finally called me a “bitch” and said she wasn’t dealing with this “shit!” I have never in my life dealt with such a rude person. Not one of the staff came back and apologized for her behavior. This used to be my go to urgent care but never again!
Its very weird too say that going to the emergency room was the best part of my day but it honestly was! I went in to get stitches on my wrist and was treated very quickly. The 2 nurses(whose name I remember), Lorraine and Janelle were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The doctor I saw Jeff Myers was not only skilled with the needle and thread but also super calming. Honestly the most relaxed I was all day, he told me exactly what he was going to do and told me I could say stop anytime if it hurt(which It never did). I went out to my bike to go home and one of the nurses offer me an uber home, so I would not have to bike. I mean how much better can a hospital visit get!!!! I would highly recommend you go here and I hope you get the same crew of amazing people I had. Thank you so much for your care if any of you are reading.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon to be treated for severe dizziness. They were very busy, but I never felt rushed . They listened, were pleasant , knowledgeable and professional.
Came in 1 hour before closing. Not a soul in the parking lot or front of facility. Desk staff asked if I had an appointment for my daughter, I did not but had checked before leaving home and website said walk-in’s welcome. I was told they had reached their quota for the day. Had to leave without being seen. Will go elsewhere next time.
The staff and doctor were extremely professional, and helpful, showing great concern. I was given the best road map, and recommendations for my road to recovery. As a first time visitor, I was greeted nicely, and received immediate attention! Great atmosphere! Keep up the good work!
The nurse practitioner Brenda, was absolutely amazing! She really went above and beyond to make sure I had the proper treatment. The entire staff was very kind and knowledgeable. The nurse, (male but didn’t get his name,) explained everything to me thoroughly and made sure I understood everything each step of the way. I am very pleased with my experience!
Went there this morning and waited four to see the doctor. I had already been there and signed in when the office decided to not take anymore walk ins. There were 2 girls that came in after me and signed in after I did and they left for lunch. I was still there waiting. When they came back they ended up getting to go ahead of me. When I asked why I was told they were there before me but that was not thetruth. They also let someone who was late for his appointment go in as well. I really hope I get my money back since I didnt get to see the doctor. I like the way white folks are treated. I will never go there again..wa
I brought my 2 year old son in for an ear infection on a Sunday morning when his pediatrician was closed. I used Express Check-In and the registration process was seamless and allowed me to do my waiting from home. From my experience with Anna at the front desk and her demeanor with my son and I was fantastic. The Medical Assistant’s Tasha and Denise were fantastic and exceptional with my son and made him laugh and feel comfortable taking his vital signs and completing his intake. The pediatrician, Dr. DiPaolo had a great bedside manner and explained her diagnosis and treatment plan in a way that I could understand. I was in and out within 30 minutes!!! I will continue to bring my family here for any additional of our urgent care needs!
Great experience from the time i walked in to be checked in by the front desk clerk until i left! EVERYONE else was so extremely nice from all of the nurses and the NP. The staff genuinely seemed like they really wanted me to get better! I felt awful with a severe sore throat but Im so glad I visited this site! Another added bonus is the fact that you can wait in line from home with express check in by picking your time slot on line! Such an easy smooth process!
True professional urgent care location. Thanks Christiana for being professional, reliable, and efficient in serving patients at this location.Went to another place and did not feel comfortable. Mapped to this location and delighted I did. Very little wait and the medical tram was not only knowledgeable but caring.A true commitment to serving the public with a passion towards getting patients better.Keep up the good work!
My visit to the urgent care was terrific! The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. I was seen and x-rayed immediately, and given clear instructions upon leaving. 10/10 will visit again (because Im a huge klutz and always hurting myself. Do you guys have a punch card? After 10 visits, the 11th is free? 🤣)
Went there for UTI symptoms. Was treated coldly and rushed and doctor said my urine was clean so didn’t give me antibiotics. There was an undertone of not being believed about my symptoms. I was simply sent home. Come to find out, the standard of care for a woman with UTI symptoms is to treat even if the urine culture is negative. 3 days later I tested positive on a test I ordered off the internet. Tried to treat at home because I dont have childcare during the week to go see my primary but symptoms continued. And once the weekend came (and I had been suffering for 9 straight days) I didn’t want to go back to this urgent care and be treated like that again. I made an appointment with goodrx (they do telemedicine for $39 a visit!) for less than my copay would have been for urgent care. The nurse practitioner was kind and I had my appointment done and prescription for antibiotics sent electronically to my regular pharmacy in less than 30 minutes. I’m on my second day of antibiotics and feel so much better. I spent 10 days suffering with pain, nausea, and put myself at risk for a kidney infection because the doc here doesn’t follow standard of care. Skip this one. Go to goodrx if you can or a different urgent care if you need to be seen in person.
Everyone was pleasant, patient, and attentive. I felt like my concerns were heard and addressed. The facility was clean. The explanation was clear. All of my questions were answered.
Great staff and quality care at the S College Ave (UofD STAR) location.
Very impressed with the efficiency and cleanliness of this office. Wait time was just about zero from the time I was checked in and I hadn’t called ahead of time. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.Staff: Jeff Myers, PA-CJoyce Smith, MAJanelle Bradway, RNPenny Lewes, NPThis is the best walk-in clinic I have ever been to on all accounts. I highly recommend this office and will recommend it to everyone.
I brought my daughter here (UD Star Campus site) on a Saturday and she got to see the pediatrician on staff. I made an “appointment” (it just holds a spot for you) online from home and check in was easy. Staff was very personable and friendly. The pediatrician was fantastic and great with my daughter. It was very clean too.
Went there for my wife. She was experiencing throat pain, fever and loss of voice. They diagnose her with acute pharyngitis and laryngitis, and prescribe antibiotic along with other drugs. They said they are sending prescription online to the pharmacy but it never happened. We called and requested multiple times but no help. The lady on the phone hung up saying she is busy, and the system is busy. Whats the point of urgent care if it takes 2 days just to get prescription? My wife asked if she can get prescription printed, they replied no way. Is there a regulation against giving printed copy of prescription to patient so that they can go to a pharmacy and fill the prescription?
I was seen at the location for my ear & throat infection on Dec 13th and double check my prescription drugs will be received at my choosed location at Riteaid store. Patently it never happened, upon checking with Riteaid store they never revealed anything. Plus this center closed at 2 p.m there no coustomer service available, had to call next day and find out they sent prescription to CVS which I never asked for neither it was said to me. Todays call speaking with the lady very unprofessional talking over & over on myself not even letting me speak. Is this how this location & receptionist works with no apologies about the inconvenience and dont care about the paying coustomer....!!!I have emailed my complaint to the management but havent received any phone calls or email yet....!!!Your reception employees needs to be retained especially working in hospitality industry, how to speak to the customer and hear them first rather then taking their anger out. This is horrible experience, I wouldnt recommend any of my friends to go this location & go to Newark urgent care the best service...!!!I wouldnt have gone to this location if it wasnt close to my house, learned my lesson & now no more to Christiana gohealth care only Newark urgent care if needed !!!
Very quick service. Pleasant staff!
Excellent, from the moment I walked in the door the staff could not have been more accomodating. The receptionist quickly checked me in, the nurses could not have been nicer and more efficient. The Physicians Assistant, Jeff, was thorough and talked WITH me, actually listening to me. This was the second time Ive had the need to use this Medical Aid Unit, I wish I could use this facility as my primary care!
Been here a number of times since we moved here in 2017, and it’s always a good experience (considering you’re likely there to have an injury or illness checked out). Wait time is minimal, even during flu season, especially if you pre-register yourself online for a specific time. You can fill all of the paperwork out at home and bring it with you, which makes the process simpler upon arrival. They have a basket of hygienic nose/ mouth coverings and tissues for patients, too. All employees are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
Wait time is what makes this location appealing. But the strict requirements for masking toddlers and children with special needs is ridiculous. I was LECTURED three times in the 30 min I was there about making my toddler and my autistic son wear a mask. They insisted I make them try. It was a waste of resources. I am a healthcare professional myself, I keep track of covid conditions, recommendations, etc. My son is considered to be immunocompromised, I understand the risks and the importance of these measures. But its incredibly frustrating that even after explaining I was still lectured an additional two times. There was NO sensitivity towards my childs disability. I was made to feel like an awful parent and citizen because I was unable to MAKE my children wear masks. Trust me, if I could I would. This speaks to a much greater need for autism awareness among healthcare professionals.
Nice people but do Not come here for a Covid test. Spent 40 minutes after the test waiting for a nurse to ask how we felt. 12/29/21 I had to update the review. After a couple of days I got a email from Christiana asking me to setup a account to view my results. The problem is that none of the credentials worked. I finally just called in to the main line, waited for a customer service rep and she was able to give me my results. Let me reiterate that everyone was nice and polite but there is something seriously wrong with the process of taking a Covid test and getting the results. I hope this review helps in improving their procedures. The experience here versus the drivethru at the pharmacies is night and day.
Very efficient staff and check in procedure. Nurse very polite and friendly. Doctor listened carefully to my problem and quickly diagnosed the situation and gave me clear and easy to follow instructions for self care. Told if more future concerns don’t hesitate to revisit. Now if I can only get my cable company to be so forthcoming.
The doctor and team were great. They did everything they could for me and put my mind at ease, I felt very heard ❤️ thank you again
I have come to love and trust the care professionals at this urgent care facility as much as I would trust in my personal family care physicians. Each and every staff member at this center exemplifies what it means to care about what they do and the individuals they serve. Each time that I have visited this facility it is out of the need to have one of my children seen after hours and that in and of itself can be stressful for a parent when they are trying to get their child well. They do all that is necessary to aide in facilitating that quickly and efficiently. Tonight myself and my entire family showed up literally mere minutes before they were due to close and they welcomed us in with open arms and a readiness to help. We weren’t rushed or brushed off, but they cared for my 10 mos old and got my baby on the right medication needed to combat his high fever and double ear infection. I can’t thank the staff enough.
Ronnie Lammers was excellent. Caring, thorough, empathetic, and provided relief. This urgent care location is very good. Thanks Ronnie. Thanks to all there who helped with our situation.
The staff was wonderful with my son. He had to get the strep test, and Penny Lewis, Miss Deb and Miss Erica were so gentle and patient with him. The facility was also very clean, and there entire staff was friendly. Thank you!!!
Been here 2 hours and still no doctor. Joke.
I went to this place with a terrible ear infection and fluid in my war and they told me to take allergy medicine. Went to another doctor and was immediately diagnosed with ear infection and given meds. Stay away. Don’t believe all the fake 5 star ratings. So obvious. I recommend the other urgent care on main street.
The staff here are very nice and caring. Any questions I had they were able to answer for me and able to answer questions I didn’t know I would have. A couple days later they called me to check and see how I was doing/feeling. Great experience, will go here anytime I need to. If you need to go to any urgent care go to this one.
I came in with bad cough and trouble breathing. They diagnosed me and treated me quickly. I was the only one in the waiting room for about 15-20 minutes. When I left there were 4 people waiting. What timing!Excellent staff, answered my questions, recommended rest, and gave me an excuse from work.
Everyone was helpful and courteous and knew exactly what to do. I especially liked Dr. James.
I made an appointment before I went in and I was quickly ushered into the doctor’s office. Everyone was very polite, courteous, and professional. They took their time with me and helped me so much. I won’t go to any other Medical Aid Unit — highly recommend this one.
Service was prompt and physician was great!
Took my son to be seen, registered online. I had no wait and exceptional service from everyone from the front desk to the nurse to the provider. It was a great experience all the way around especially with a sick child. Will definitely go back if Im ever in need again.
Brought my son here to be told he was having an allergic reaction. Went to a different walk in today to be told he has a severe case of strep A and Scarlet fever. Definitely not an allergic reaction.
Left there feeling like Id been on an outing rather than to a medical aid unit!! Everyone was delightful, friendly and caring!! From Aretha and Foula at the front desk to the nurses and P A Patrick...Enjoyed my visit and will go back and highly recommend to my friends. Thanks for your care and kindness!!! I am trying to write a new review and my old one is still here, not sure why but please forgive me for reposting it. I was back to this facility again yesterday and again need to express my gratitude and thanks for the kindness and care that I received from all! The pleasant way I was greeted and guided at check-in, then Janelle giving me a second chance with taking my blood pressure followed by the care and kindness from P.A. Marco Cerasoli......thanks for being you, doing want you do and truly caring!!!
Great facility with very friendly staff. The doctor was kind, knowledgeable and saw us in a timely manner. Definitely recommend and will return when necessary! Excellent experience!!
Absolutely fantastic experience from the moment we walked in the door. Extremely attentive and patient with a difficult pt situation - never getting frustrated and always putting patient needs first.
The staff are pleasant and they provided me with care to the best of their ability. A lady at the front desk named Aretha checked me in very quickly and she was extremely friendly through the whole process! This MAU is right on the STAR campus for the University of Delaware which makes it very accessible when you are a student in need of medical care.
The staff here are amazing you can tell they really care about making sure your medical needs are met. I’ve been here twice and I was extremely comfortable and the doctor and nurses explained everything to me so that I understood everything. I would highly recommend this place.
I did express check-in. Reached 5 min late. My number was second on list. Waited for 50 minute and queue didnt moved at all. Found out that they are understaffed. I looked around and there were just two patients waiting so it was not a busy day for sure.Anyway, I waited more and they called the person who was below me in the queue. When I asked why they took in a person who was after me in list, they told me you came 5-min late. But wait - if I walked in 5 min late for 10:13 AM appointment; you also made me wait an hour (so you are late by an hour too, who will take that in account?). I waited half an hour more to get attended.
Treatment was appropriate (X-ray with advice to check further with surgeon who did my procedure)Almost no waiting time. So much better than spending hours in a hospital Emergency room
The staff was fast and friendly, the nurse practitioner that treated me was excellent and effective. Thank you!
Patrick was very patient and listened to me. He was very intentional in prescribing a medication according to my symptoms!
I had some little blisters in my eye and went to see the doctor. The doctor spent 3 minutes with me and told me that everything is fine that I am OK to leave. No examination, nothing. She clearly does not know anything about eye at all. Three weeks later I got a bill of $122!! With this service, seriously? Will never come back again!
Went in for an ear infection. They prescribed 10 days of tablet antibiotics. Ear infection came back, and they billed me $150 for nothing. I ended up going to a real ear doctor at Glasgow Medical Center, and was cured in a week. My advice is to go to a real doctor and not this place. The staff is friendly, I will give them that. Just not effective.
I was seen first thing in the morning on a Saturday for asthma. David was the MA who took my vitals and got me situated while Bonita was the NP who saw me. I found both to be friendly, caring, funny and personable. Unfortunately, I was having issues with my insurance and was very stressed over it, however Bonita spoke to me with compassion about the situation and put my mind at ease. In addition, she took it upon herself to research local pharmacies to find me the cheapest place to pick up my prescription. This is above and beyond any experience Ive ever had with Christiana Care. With service like this, I will be sure to return to Star Campus (if need be, unfortunately!) and I will definitely recommend this Med Aid Unit to friends and family.
Staff was great with my young son, who was very panicky about his heavily bleeding head wound. Absolutely no wait, though Im sure the time of day that we went helped. Definitely recommended.
I broke my left foot and I wasn’t shown how to use the boot properly and my crutches were set incorrectly which made it very hard to walk. I was by myself and no one helped me to my car. I definitely would have appreciated a bit more help.
I have been to the Star campus MAU twice and have been treated wonderfully both times. This time my son had a fracture in his wrist and Jeff and Shamika were both very personable and friendly. Foula was great and walked my son through his xray. Both times at this campus I was in and out in less then 45 minutes and did the Express checkin the 2nd time around.
Not very good at diagnosing an inner ear problem. I had been dizzy for 4 days. They said I had Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. Sent me home with flonase and zyrtec. I took for 3 days with no change. I decided to self medicate with my daughters ear infection drops. Within 4 hours my dizziness had went away. I should have listened to my wife and went to Penn medicine in Kennett square. Christiana wants to be the big boys, but they dont spend enough time and give enough care to care
Initially, I went to a different Medical Aide Unit (MAU) in which they told me upon arrival (8:02am) that there were 14 people ahead of me. My sister told me to check Christiana Cares MAU and see what their wait time was. To my pleasant surprise, I was able to reserve the next available time (8:56am)🤗🤗🤗When I arrived to the Star Campus (8:36am), I was greeted by the most courteous and friendly staff. By 8:40, they had already taken my weight and checked my vitals. I met with an AMAZING Doctor by the name of Patricia Lewis, FNP. I am happy to say I was out of there by 9:15am. I highly reccomend this particular facility as each person I encountered was kind and extremely professional!!! Way to go Christiana Care!!!!
Best experience I’ve ever had at a medical clinic. Every one I talked to had a smile on their face and made the entire visit pleasant. This location isn’t the closest clinic but I will definitely go out of my way to go here again. Marco and the rest of the team were great!
Fast and efficient, one-stop service. Friendly staff (Roxanne, Dr. Kramer. and all the rest). Have used it twice, once after and accident involving my finger and a table saw, and after a hard fall injury to my hip. Whenever I need help NOW, I go there before going to my personal doctor or emergency room.
Will NOT be returning. Went one evening for sore throat they said it was the flu without even testing me and prescribed anti-viral meds. Next morning white patches all over my throat so I went back to get antibiotics instead but am told I need to go to the ER for peritonsillar abscess, get an ultrasound and go on IV antibiotics? Did not believe that was the case so went to a different urgent care. NP there says absolutely not an abscess but just a case of bacterial tonsillitis and put me on oral antibiotics and it will be gone in a day or two. So they misdiagnosed me TWICE here and wanted me to go to the hospital just to sit hours in a waiting room and end up paying thousands. Can not trust these NPs and PAs!
I must say the staff was nice however I misdiagnosed by the doctor on duty. She said I just had a cold after I explained my feelings and actions with this cold. This was Dec 7th on Dec. 11th I went to the doctors because the coughing didnt stop and was told by my doctor I had bronchitis. My doctor was surprised when he asked if I was prescribed an antibiotic and I said NO. We live and learn.
Great experience at the STAR medical aid unit. Seen by Penny Lewis, NP as well as Amiee and Wendy. Very professional and great service. Check in ahead was a great service and we were seen within minutes of being checked in. Hope not to have to but will certainly use again if necessary.
I greatly appreciate the kindness of all the staff and Doctor. I felt pretty horrible and they made my visit fast and easy. Im almost back to 100%.
Too many hands involved!!!! There is someone at the front desk checking you in, then the nurse that gets your vitals and weight, then the Dr or practitioner that sees you. I understand these. But tell me WHY after the Dr or nurse practitioner sees you do they send yet another different person in to give you your paperwork. I am terribly ill and due to a lack of communication between so many individuals they forgot to give me my work excuse. Yes, I should double check but I am SICK and trusting you to do your job! Cmon guys!!! Now i have to drive back because you will not email the note... this is unreal.Update: Had to come back and wait!!! The note wasnt even ready. Im sorry because my patience is lacking but give me a break!Latest update: (3 weeks after initial visit)This whole organization is lacking. I go see them on a Friday morning and they tell my I have Pharyngitis. They give me prednisone to help with my breathing . They are supposed to give me a prescription for predisnone but never did. They tell me to go to the ER, the ER gives me some pain killer and some more breathing steroids and sends me home. Its now Sunday morning, I wake up at 3am struggling to breathe. I make an appt with this office again. In the meantime I call and they tell me that they found the prescription for Bromfed (cough syrup) thats from the first visit 3 weeks ago so I ask to verify the date. To shut me up the Nurse says, that was dated Friday the 16th... I now waste time calling my Pharmacy... no prescription for Bromfed since last month...Guys, its not that hard. Slow down to speed up. Take the extra moment or two to do your job right the first time.
I recommend to everyone that they use the urgent care center at STAR. The staff are fast and efficient and the medical care is excellent. It is comprehensive care at an urgent care center. Dr. Kramer is incredible. It is wonderful that he provides care and that he is teaching the next generation of health care providers. He is an amazing doctor.
Treated by polite, professional staff, in a timely manner. I am feeling better with the treatment plan prescribed. They did a thorough check up to.
Came in for what I suspected to be a perforated eardrum. Had bloody discharge and pain in one ear and hearing loss. Also felt air leaving ear canal when sneezing. Came here because I had to leave town on a trip before ENT could see me.Provider stated she didnt see a hole in eardrum and was dismissive. When questioned why I am passing air through ear canal she stated youre sinuses are connected. That I knew already but also that they are connected to my middle ear and shouldnt be venting to my ear canal. Also no explanation for bloody discharge or pain.Months later still suffering hearing loss, I went to my ENT who confirmed a perforated eardrum. Now Im having corrective surgery to fix the issue due to a delayed diagnosis. Also somehow havent recieved a bill yet 6 months later for some reason.
NP Penny Lewis, Jane, Lib and Dee were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Even though they had a tough day with multiple traumas, they treated me with respect and care. I was very happy that they were there when I needed them.
I will not be going back to this doctors office. I clearly have laryngitis and they told me to take advil. I went last monday and my symptoms have gotten worse. My voice is gone now and because they were in a rush during my visit, my illness was not important. I have had an on and off fever and will be going somewhere else. If you are seriously sick, do not go here. The people there are there for a check and could careless.
The staff could not be more professional from the front desk, MA’s, PA’s and physicians!! This year apparently all Christiana Care facilities are pushing no antibiotics. Instead of treating each case individually everyone who comes through the door with cold or flu like symptoms are told OTC meds work best. I’ve missed an entire week of work and feel no better than I did 6 days ago. Each day I feel worse than the last with new symptoms on top of existing ones. OTC meds are not cutting it! Been to two ChristianaCare facilities and am disappointed and frustrated I Cannot return to work yet. My own personal opinion but if you plan on going to a ChristianaCare facility anticipating an antibiotic— think twice.
Service/care was fine. They are listed as in-network for Aetna however when they filled the claim the provider tax ID number they used caused my claim to be considered out-of-network and I cannot afford it. I contacted both Aetna and the billing department for this location and the billing department could not do anything. It is unacceptable to be listed as in-network and then not have the proper setup with Aetna. – They need to fix this. I will change this review if it gets resolved.
I was seen promptly, everything was very efficient, and the staff was both friendly and professional.
The staff at this Medical Aid Unit are absolutely AMAZING!!! Ive had to take my children to this facility on separate occasions, and every time we have been there, they have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us!!☆ THEY DEFINITELY DESERVE 5 STARS ☆
Little to no wait. Friendly service. I think the staff here spent more time answering my questions, then my own primary care physician does. (Whom was unavailable) I would highly recommend.
Was seen at processed quickly as possible. X-rays taken somewhat painlessly. Was in and out of clinic within 45 minutes. Much better than the waiting time for the ER. Fast and curtious.
Wait was short because I checked in ahead of time. The front desk made me feel uncomfortable because of my “relationship to the patient”. I was there with my 12 year old and I had her young. The medical assistant was short and not very good bedside manor.
I was taken right away. The staff listened to my list of symptoms and I felt that the doctor treated me with respect and took care to consider the best course of treatment. I would definitely recommend this facility.
The staff was friendly and professional. They took great care and concern about me
Went to this urgent care today and was very happy with the service I received. Everyone was friendly and courteous and the wait was about 5 minutes. Will be going here again if I need urgent care.
I’ve been here multiple times for various reasons, they always see me quickly and are always able to prescribe something or help me resolve my problems in other ways. the staff is consistently polite and the place is clean. i’ll always come here when it’s open & i need to be seen quickly.
Love this GoHealth...good medical care by qualified professionals who actually listen to the complaint and treat proactively. My compliments to my treating PA...Cassandra Wilson...she was a gem.
Everyone is super nice, understanding, and patient! Gave good advice & well wishes. Super clean fast check in, was in an out on a holiday weekend!
I was treated with respect and kindness by the front desk, Diane, and the whole staff. I was very happy with the thoroughness exhibited by the whole staff. Everyone was professional and showed me kindness and respect.
The staff was very helpful and professional. Very little wait time when I went as I prechecked in using my phone so I could save a place in line. For non emergency events this is definitely the way to go.
Made appointment on line was able to get on for a hour later. Was seen ahead of my time.Great staff very friendly and thorough. Will return again anytime I need after hour care.
Everyone here was very friendly. I was attended to in a timely manner. The medical treatment applied to me was effective. A completely positive experience.
The medical aid units are so quick for minor concerns. Staff was friendly and welcoming. There was minimal wait time less than ten minutes
Was seen right away and the whole staff was kind and caring, the doctor actually listened to what I was saying. If only I could find a primary doctor the same way
Appointment on time, very friendly staff and caring doctor who understood my illness and prescriped medication that has me on the road to recovery.
I’ve never had a long wait always had good care at Star campus urgent care. The healthcare staff at Christina care go Health is very professional and caring.
Penny Lewis and Marco were extraordinary with the care that they provided. They were a joy to be around and were able to fix my cut finger in a very timely manor with great bedside manor.
Just went to this urgent care and our team was the best! Penny was so nice to us and janelle rocks!!! Thanks for everything - super fast service too!
Went in for a single covid test and they took 5 days to post results and contact me that I was positive! So much for “urgent” care.
Just assume you’ll actually be seen an hour after your scheduled appointment. Even for a two minute swab of your nose for a CoVID test.
I love coming to the medical aid unit its usually pretty quick and the front office clerk I had last time was Deenalyn and she did a great job checking me in even though it was quite busy that day.thanks for being here
Dr. Debra Delaney is an excellent physician, she listens to patients, respects their concerns and offers clear, precise, helpful information. A definite asset to the STAR Campus. 5 stars isnt great enough!
Good service, however, why is it that only person can be in the waiting room at a time? You can fit at least 3 -4 at 6 feet apart in that large waiting room.
The sign up process is easy and quick. Didnt take long until I was assisted. All of the staff was incredible. Wonderful and friendly. Highly recommend.
Everyone was polite and patient with me. I really appreciate that especially when I am sick.
It was easy to get an appointment. Staff was very friendly & got treated fairly quickly
This urgent care is just too convenient and the staff is caring and professional. My only wish is that it be open every day.
Tried to take blood from my son 4 times and only ended up getting blood on his jeans. None in the needle!
I had a very positive experience while finding the Star campus aid unit, booking my spot in line, and checking in upon arrival. The service vas very fast and superb.
Check in process was quick and efficient. Very short wait time to be seen and doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Very efficient process for getting an appointment. I did not have to wait once I arrived. Staff were pleasant, friendly and informative.
Aretha went above and beyond with her service, to ensure i was using the correct insurance to avoid being billed incorrectly! I really appreciate the efficiency and willingness to assist!

First time there. Nice staff too. I feel like it’s a hidden gem. No wait on a Saturday afternoon
The offices were very clean and all staff were very friendly and professional, especially the tech Rafnello. I definitely will be back!
Very friendly staff, quick to be seen by a doctor.
The ease of my appointment and being seen today was phenomenal. I would recommend anyone to go here for treatment.
Second time here. Clean, fast, friendly, easy to work with. Soooo glad I found you!
Fast & Friendly service. In and out in 20 minutes.
