Stay away from this clinic. They are in a business to get your money. They charge almost 5K to test for 4 embryos while the average fee to test them ranging $150-$200 per embryo. Such a ripped off. Unfortunately, they were all abnormal. Then they discarded my embryos without confirming with me to make sure that’s what I want. They kept throwing the signed consent to my face but hello, give me a courtesy call or email that you will dispose my embryos. The patient operation personal called me and referred my embryos as “tissue”. It’s a sensitive and difficult subject for us as patients so I wish they have a heart to heart in alignment of our situation. Such a bad practice. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE
Cannot thank Dr. Federick and our coordinators Michelle/Priscilla enough for all their patience, kindness, and knowledge during a time where infertility can really be scary and stressful. Dr. Federick is realistic and kind with her approach, she really wants you to succeed in achieving your dreams of having a child. The office is really clean and organized, would recommend!
5 stars for sureI started my IVF process in May with Dr Frederick . She explained really well the process I felt so comfortable to start with HRC . Priscilla gave me and my husband the schedule for the injection and she explained very well the steps. With all the stress that had during the IVF process priscilla was very patient she was very helpful all the time .I had a lot of questions everyday HRC made sure to answer all of themEven they have a support group cause they know how stressful this can beI got pregnant from the first trail :) with my baby girl Mona I stayed the first 3 month monitoring pregnancy with Dr Frederick and after that they gave me amazing recommendations for OBGYNow my baby girl is 6 weeks :) and I can’t wait to bring her to HRC and thank them for the gift they gave me :)
I feel so blessed to have had a chance to go to HRC for my fertility issues. Infertility is such a stressful, scary, heartbreaking struggle I never expected to have. Dr. Potter and his staff were amazing with helping every step of the way. My coordinator Amanda was great with communicating with me and easy to get a hold of whenever any issues or questions arose. The front desk staff was always sweet and welcoming with every appointment (which were many) which helped calm my nerves. Every one of the girls that drew my blood did such a great job and I was always happy to see them. The Ultrasound techs that did my many ultrasounds were so nice and knowledgeable which is always comforting. The staff was also very accommodating with my work schedule as well which helped a lot with the numerous appointments.Long story short, I highly recommend them and I’m very pleased with my care given to me by the staff at HRC. It’s a scary intimidating process, but they made it go as smooth as possible.
I visited several IVF clinics in LA and in NY, finally I choosed HRC Fertility. My doctor Jane is amazing, excellent skills with 30 yearss experiences. My IVF cooedinator Tina helps me a lot, answered all the questions very patiently, reminded me of matters needing attention, gave me a lot of warmth, and made me less nervous ands afraid. I am happy with my choice of clinic!
As a young couple, we sought Dr. Fredericks help in our journey to parenthood. With just one AA-grade embryo out of five, we had concerns. Thanks to Dr. Fredericks expertise, were now 8 weeks pregnant and couldnt be happier. We also want to thank Tina, the assistant, for her valuable support. Dr. Frederick and Tina have been instrumental in making our dream of parenthood a reality.
I have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Dr. Potter and our nurse, Stephanie at HRC Newport Beach! We are from out of state, and used donated embryos, which sounds like it would be a complicated process, but they made every step easy (as easy as fertility treatments can be). In our first conversation with Dr. Potter, we told him we were willing to try 2 transfers, and he said “I hope that means you want 2 kids out of this.” My husband and I loved his confidence, and he had the skill and knowledge to back it up. I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy from our first transfer! He exudes confidence and kindness at the same time. Our nurse, Stephanie, was a saint, answering my many, many questions in a timely manner and keeping every detail and appointment organized. When she called to tell me I was in fact pregnant, she celebrated with me. When I had (many) worried moments in the beginning of my pregnancy, she would respond to my emails immediately (at all hours), or just give me a call to talk me down. We are so thankful for the team at HRC that helped us complete our family!
I’ve had two successful IVF pregnancies with Dr. Frederick and she has just been a blessing - she is do gentle and caring throughout the process. Michelle Oliva, my coordinator, has also been so supportive and available for all our questions and concerns. I’ve felt so supported throughout the process and the HRC Newport Beach team has really helped us during the difficulties of the IVF process. We still have a couple of embryos with them and even if we’ve already moved out of state, we will still come back to them when we try for our third and fourth siblings.
HRC’s staff are very friendly and professional. I firstly met PA Emily and I decided to do my procedure here. And it end up with a good choice with good outcome. Emily is super helpful, knowledgeable and patient, amanda is responsive, Karissa and Marcus helped me with blood work, they are skilled and attentive~ thanks to Dr. Beth
HRC has been a great experience for me so far. I want to mention Natalija specifically though! She has made everything super easy and comfortable for me. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better!
I had a great experience with HRC and more specifically Natalija, who was absolutely amazing!!! She answered all of my millions of questions, was available at any time I had called or texted her and was probably the highlight of my experience!! Even though after all of the tests were ran, and I did not get the perfect news I was hoping for, Natalija had made sure I was okay and reached out a few weeks later just seeing how I was. 10/10 for her!! If I had to do this experience again I would only want Natalija by my side!
I cannot say enough positive things about this clinic. From my personal experiences to the countless other people whom I have met that have received infertility services here. Dr. Frederick and her entire staff were professional, compassionate and offered the best support during the entire IVF process. Dr. Frederick is kind and really breaks down everything for you in a way that is easy to understand. She is friendly and always walks in with a smile and open ear to discuss your concerns. My coordinator, Priscilla was warm and thoughtful. She made sure to answer all my emails promptly and thoroughly. Priscilla was so organized and gave me a detailed calendar with what to expect and instructions for the entire process. It was super helpful and really became my “go to” for every bit of information I needed. I am so thankful she was my coordinator. Not only for my IVf cycle but for my embryo transfer too. The lab is absolutely amazing by the way. The lead embryologist- Charlotte is the kindest most thoughtful human. She treats each embryo as if it’s her own. Her attention to detail, organization and commitment to making her lab the best in the world is truly what makes my heart at ease. Because I know my embryos are receiving the best care and are safe. Thank you HRC Fertility OC! I am beyond grateful!
I decided to freeze my eggs at 34 this year and went with HRC fertility. My Dr. was Jane Frederick and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with her, the coordinators, and everyone at the clinic. It was very convenient that everything was “in house” and in the same office. I have a very busy schedule and appreciated the appointments were always on time and I didnt really have to wait much, if ever. The process was pretty straight forward and my medicine and protocol was created specifically for me based on several different factors, I learned that everyone does not have the same meds during the stim process and mine was altered almost every appointment based on how everything was progressing. Dr. Frederick diagnosed me with PCOS, something many specialists in the past had missed for years which most likely contributed to past miscarriages. I felt Dr Frederick was very knowledgeable and felt taken care of. Ultimately I was very happy with the outcome of my egg retrieval and I attribute that to the plan I was put on by Dr Frederick. The coordinators were full of knowledge and I felt supported at all times. Thank you Michelle and Priscilla! The surgical center and nurses, and anesthesiologist were all angels on the day of my retrieval. As much as this industry is very much a money making industry I never felt like just a number or that they were just out to get my dollars.
We are so grateful to HRC and their tireless efforts in helping us grow our family! We worked with Dr. Potter and his coordinator Stephanie, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Our case wasn’t necessarily straightforward, but they took everything into consideration and developed a plan for us that resulted in the birth of our twins. We are forever thankful!
Very grateful for our end result with Dr Potter and our awesome coordinator Stephanie!!! Eight years and three kids later is better than we had hoped for going into our journey at HRC. Very thankful for the positive energy heading into an uncertain outcome. However their knowledge, professionalism and awesome services helped us achieve the goal of a Complete & Happy Family.
Dr. Becht is really nice. Shes very professional and has a great attitude. She answers very questions I have and design my schedule very accurate. My coordinator Tina is a great helpful assistant. She communicate with me whenever I have questions and call me right after my test result comes out. And she solves my problems right away. I have a good experience in HRC.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Potter and the coordinator who was a nurse, Natalie. I was an out of state patient and had the best experience. The first time we didnt get pregnant but the second time we did with beautiful twins. We had outside monitoring at a clinic in our state and they would send results to Natalie and Dr. Potter. We flew in for the transfer. We did wait long hours to talk to Dr. Potter but he was always so nice, empathetic and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.
The best of the best of the best!!I did a lot of research and several consults and it was easy to choose Dr. Potter at HRC Newport Beach!!! Stephanie, his Patient Coordinator, is AMAZING!!!! My Sonographer, phlebotomist, finance, the front desk, etc. are all fantastic! All of my million questions were answered. I was shown empathy and provided support when I needed it. Stephanie, in particular, was always with me and my husband for all the ups and the downs - showing me how to do the shots, supporting me after surgery, happiness when my embryo implanted, sadness when the embryo didnt, celebrating with us when our babies were born.I was a local patient for my egg retrieval and first child. And I was a traveling patient (from DC metro) for my second and third. Stephanie helped me with each step!We spent 5 years with them and now we have three beautiful children. We will forever grateful and thankful to our amazing team at HRC Newport Beach!!!
Dr Potter and his team are very knowledgeable, smart and diligent. Priscilla Nava, who was my main coordinator went above and beyond to ensure I had the support I needed during this very challenging time. Her empathy was a huge factor in my positive experience with the clinic. Thank you!
I started my IVF process at this clinic in early 2021. I met with 3 doctors before deciding to go with Dr. Becht. If you meet her, youll know why. Shes relatable but super professional. I also remember hesitating slightly because of all the negative Google reviews. I wrote to her, and her reply was enough for me to make the final decision.I was 43 when I began IVF. I had gone through 4 miscarriages, and IVF was our last resort even though I had really not wanted to do IVF. Dr. Becht and my IVF coordinator, Liz, made every part of this process so much better. I really enjoyed every appointment with them, and they were both so thoughtful and accommodating. Ive been with some not-so-great doctors before, but if youre doing IVF, you want to make sure youre with a great doctor and team. Their staff at HRC and the surgery center are all also great. I have never had a single bad experience, which is amazing. It took me a year (I had to have surgery to remove some fibroids in between) to do the implantation, and I am pregnant and almost through with my first trimester. I would honestly have left the same review even if I did not become pregnant. I truly think their levels of expertise and professionalism are outstanding. I would definitely recommend Dr. Becht and Liz and the staff at HRC to my sister (if I had one... lol).
I had such a great experience here at HRC. Everyone was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Natalija was able to help me navigate through my entire experience and answered any questions along the way. I would totally recommend HRC Newport to anyone looking for reproductive health services.
I feel truly blessed and honored. Being a mother is my one true calling in life. I was told in high school I’d never have children. By the grace of God I was blessed with my 18 year old daughter. I’ve always dreamed of having more children. I want to personally thank Dr. Frederick, Priscilla, Julie, Wendy, Daisy, Yevette, also everyone at the front desk who greeted me at every appointment and check how my ride was from Las Vegas. My first transfer was unsuccessful and my heart was broken, but I kept my faith. Dr. Frederick encouraged me to not give up and try again. I wasn’t going to give up, but her words helped during my grieving. Last month I was able to take my son to meet Dr. Frederick at six months. He truly has the most beautiful soul. I want to thank my daughter from the bottom of my heart because she did all my injections. With the best support system you could ever dream of. Fill your heart with love during this journey. I can’t wait until my next journey with Dr. Frederick and the amazing team. Thank you everyone at HRC for making my dream become a beautiful reality.
Ive had the best experience working with the staff and Dr. Becht at HRC Newport. I was a patient for 18 months before graduating at 10 weeks pregnant thanks to IVF. During our time at HRC Newport, we completed 4 IUIs and 1 round of IVF with 1 FET. The office is very organized with an assigned coordinator (emails you with results and protocols), financial coordinator (works with your insurance authorizations and ensures you know your out of pocket costs up front), and doctor of your choice. We did our research before committing to Dr. Becht and have been so happy under her care. She is detail-oriented, very involved in her patients care, and thoughtful with her protocol assignments. The office recently moved locations and the new office is beautiful. We also enjoyed getting to know the front staff who are warm and welcoming. One of them in particular is Tu who handles payments on your way out. She brings such a needed warmth to a rather dreary situation of infertility. We will miss seeing everyone there. Well be back for our next baby!
Been meaning to write this review for some time now. I would recommend HRC for anyone looking to start a family. I may be one of few patients who did not have success, but still would give them 5 stars. I came to HRC Newport this past year after being with another local clinic previously. I can say the experience was day and night. I am 42 and did a previous IVF cycle without success. Dr. Potter was our our doctor and Stephanie was our coordinator. They were informative and supportive the while time. I had a few complications as most women seeking IVF do, which were all addressed. The office was honest with me. I was warned that Dr. Potter was often late, which is true, but my experience is that he was always attentive and I never felt rushed. He answered all my questions and took his time. Most of our contact with with Stephanie and the office staff, who are all so wonderful. We did get pregnant with 2 cycles of IVF, and had 1 genetically normal embryo for transfer. Unfortunately, we had an ectopic pregnancy loss. I have previous history of pregnancy loss. Dr. Potter and Stephanie were so compassionate and the nurses in the surgery center are angels. He repeatedly reminded me it was not my fault and I did nothing to cause the losses. Even the front office staff were so kind and always knew my name when I came in for appointments. He seemed so sad for us and I felt his care and concern, something I did not have experience at the previous clinic. He had a social worker reach out to me for support. As a social worker myself, I appreciate a practice that considers the emotional needs of patients. He was quite honest with me and did not encourage further IVF cycles, as you would expect. I know women who have had numerous failed cycles without success. He suggested consideration of using donor eggs as our next path, which we are currently exploring. The process was heart breaking, but I can honestly say Dr. Potter did his best and I have no regrets.
For a lady in her 40’s going through IVF can be discouraging. The odds are not in your favor. However, Dr. Potter was very supportive and encouraging during the entire process. I can’t thank him enough. I’m in awe of my beautiful twins.
Natalija has been so wonderful in guiding me through all of the processes and procedures. She does a wonderful job at effectively communicating any and all necessary information and making sure there is no confusion. She’s been a pleasure to work with!
UPDATE 5/2023Our Baby Girl is 6 months old. The support, kindness and genuine interest Dr Becht, Liz, Amanda, Priscilla, the rest of the office team and the RSA staff have for us to this day is unmatched. This is an incredible group of people - I am so grateful for that insurance issue at the beginning of this journey that brought us to HRC. IVF is such an emotional roller coaster, the importance of having a compassionate team along the way is immeasurable. Highly recommended.UPDATE:We’re having a baby! I’m 5+ months along, and could not be more grateful for the support of Dr Becht, my patient coordinators and surgical nurses. We did have a successful transfer last summer that resulted in a loss, but after talking with Dr Becht about our next options as a 42 year old woman, we pursued the donor route, and baby is due in November. We are beyond grateful to Dr. Becht, and I can tell you after visiting OB offices … we REALLY miss her and didn’t realize how spoiled we were to have her dedication and care. Every single appointment for 2 years was with her. She never rushed, was always so kind, and I wish she could be my Dr forever!————————I’ve got so many thoughts as I read the reviews associated with HRC. First, this is my second clinic, there were some issues with insurance at the first one, and thankfully I was able to switch before we started any cycles. This clinic was approved by my Insurance Company, and when I read these reviews, I was devastated. The good news is that I was able to get an appointment within a month (unheard of in the IVF world), and I was matched up with Dr. Becht. I sat in the waiting room with my husband reading some literature about her - and I came across some information about her recognition for compassion. That made me a feel a bit better. When my husband and I met Dr Becht, I immediately felt at ease. She is truly so kind and caring (I could get emotional just thinking about it), and I feel so lucky to have found her. My experience, while far from over, has been EXCELLENT.I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to have Dr Becht and Liz Arechiga (Patient Coordinator) supporting me.We are in our second cycle, and while IVF is not a guarantee, I am feeling hopeful because of the care I receive at HRC. I believe Dr Becht and Liz truly care for me, and want to make this baby happen and will do whatever it takes. If it doesn’t happen for us, we will of course be sad (understatement), but I will feel confident that every possible thing that could have been done to help, would’ve been done.IVF is such an emotional emotional experience. There are so many highs and lows - and having a Dr who shows empathy and compassion along with optimism and determination is the best combination I could hope for.
We had an absolutely great experience with HRC, our coordinator Stephanie was amazing every step of the way. We went through an IVF in 2016 which gave us our adorable boy and now again in 2020 with our new baby due in May 2021. They were upfront in explaining everything to us from the cost, to walking us through the process, and l answering every little question we had. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to start a family.
There are not enough amazing things I can say about Dr. Becht! I was diagnosed with DOR (Diminished ovarian reserve) and based on my FSH and AMH levels/initial consultations with other doctors was told it would be difficult to go through IVF but I could try. Prior to meeting Dr. Becht we had already gone through 2 rounds of egg retrievals with another doctor (results from each round: 6 eggs retrieved, 2 made it to blastocysts, 1 came back genetically healthy). In the 4 months it took me to go through the initial 2 retrievals I only saw the doctor 3 times (in 4 months!). We didnt feel we were getting the care or attention we deserved for such an important and sensitive time in our life and decided we needed to switch doctors. We met with Dr. Becht after our 2nd retrieval and it was like we entered into a whole new world. None of the other 6 doctors we consulted with took anywhere near the amount of time or showed the amount of care and compassion that we got from Dr. Becht in that first consultation. She dove deep into the science, explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand, and had a detailed game plan to share with us. Right off the bat we knew she was the right doctor for us and I have never left a doctors office feeling more confident. She explained that her focus was going to be trying to get the best quality eggs, as with DOR patients, unfortunately quantity is not always in our favor. We did 2 more retrievals and Dr. Becht saw us each time we came in for scans, spending time with us to answer all our endless questions and never making us feel like we were an inconvenience. Her science/game plan worked and our next 2 rounds literally doubled our success.- Round 3: 6 eggs retrieved, 2 made it to blastocysts, 2 came back genetically healthy- Round 4: 6 eggs retrieved, 4 made it to blastocysts, 3 came back genetically healthyNext we prepped for transfer. I had a history of endometriosis so Dr. Becht explained that she wanted to take a semi-aggressive protocol with me for transfer to ensure we were set up for success. (At that point we have been doing this for almost a year, we figured a couple more months wasnt going to kill us). One of the tests she had us do showed that I had mild endometrisis as well, so I took antibiotics for that. Then we started the official protocol for transfer, trusting that Dr. Becht hasnt steered us wrong so far. And we are happy to announce that our first transfer was a success!!! After over a year of IVF, we are finally pregnant! I truly believe that we could not have gotten here with any other doctor and we feel so lucky that she came into our lives! No questions asked, we will be going to her when its time to transfer again! Hope this helps and good luck to all you mamas out there!UPDATE:I left a pretty lengthy review before for Dr. Becht (and due to pregnancy brain) completely forgot to give a shout out to Priscilla! The most incredible coordinator in the world. If you have the opportunity to work with her, you are going to be in the best hands. Priscilla literally answered texts and phone calls at midnight on the weekend when I panicked about my medication, she was always quick to respond and made me feel so supported and cared for the entire process! Cant say enough amazing things about her. Thank you, Priscilla for making the process a million times easier on me and for always calming me down (which was very often!)
HRCs staff has been nothing but kind and welcoming, Natalija has been extremely helpful throughout all of my appointments and quick to answer any questions I’ve had. Every appointment I’ve had has been quick and easy.
After trying for a while we finally had our little miracle. I am glad to have such supportive coordinator. Our coordinator is Amanda and she has been the best always making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you and Dr. Potter as well
I am very grateful for the loving care that I received from Priscilla Nava (IVF coordinator)! She was very understanding and was always available to answer my questions related to medications and any other concern. I am truly blessed to have my baby boy (almost 10 months now)! Thank you for your support Priscilla!
I flew to LA from Melbourne Australia to undergo IVF at HRC Fertility, as gender selection is not allowed in Australia. My main contact was Natalie Woods. We liaised via email in the lead up to travelling to LA. And then of course face to face once I had arrived. The whole process involved was at times overwhelming, from the logistics of getting to LA, to organising the medication I had to begin prior to arrival in LA, to preparing for egg retrieval and all that followed after that, Natalie was incredibly supportive, not only with her knowledge and professionalism but also on an emotional level. I was beyond grateful to have her there every step of the way!
Dr Becht and Amanda are the dream team that helped us start a family. Highly recommend HRC. They make you and your upcoming child feel important. All our questions were answered in a timely manner. Would definitely choose them again for all our fertility needs.
If someone is seeking fertility treatment then this is a hard time in life. When something doesnt work out naturally it only makes it worse when it medically doesnt happen either. Everyone has different experiences in how they handle medication/ doctors. After 2 years of trying to conceive we had no choice but to go to a fertility specialist. We chose HRC for various reasons and found our experience to be professional and positive. Dr. Frederick was open and honest about the road ahead. Her team was professional and responsive when we had questions. Appointments were lengthy wait times, but again it is a doctor and this happens. In the end Dr. Frederick helped our dream become a reality. If she had not then she would still receive a positive review on our behalf. Fertility is playing with nature so it isnt a sure bet. We got lucky and Im happy that we chose this business to help us do it.
Not terribly impressed with the level of service. As IVF was the next step in our fertility journey, we sought out four fertility clinics with the highest success rates around so we could choose the best for our path forward. Per request, before our appointment with Doctor Potter, I prepared and sent in our fertility treatment records over the past year from our local fertility clinic. The doctor called us 50 minutes AFTER our scheduled appointment to discuss documents he was clearly looking at for the first time. He was completely unprepared and used terms like our numbers were scary low. We did not learn anything new from this appointment and most things he said were not at all in alignment with the three other professionals we had already consulted.
I hate to do it, but I have to give Dr. Potter and HRC Fertility a 1 star review. First, about me. I have had 2 kids naturally, but after a miscarriage with my 3rd pregnancy, we learned that we had a 50% chance of becoming pregnant with a genetic condition that would lead to pregnancy loss or potential brain damage for the baby if they survived (Kell antibodies). Seeing that we had successfully gotten pregnant twice before, and quite easily too, we decided to go ahead with IVF and PGD to select an embryo that did not carry the Kell antigen gene, easy peasy, right? Nope. Long story short, twenty five thousand dollars later for one round of IVF with PGD and the frozen transfer (since we had to wait 2 weeks for the PGD results), and we transferred our one and only normal embryo, and did not get pregnant. Now I understand that IVF is no where near guaranteed to be successful, so I am not giving the one star review because we did not get pregnant, although that does really suck. Im leaving the poor review because of my otherwise awful experience with HRC. First of all the wait time is a freaking joke!!! I kid you not, there wasnt a single appointment I was called back for within 2 hours of my actual appointment time, with the longest time we waited being 3 hours and 15 mins past our appointment time! The waiting room was so packed, people where standing against the walls and sitting on the floor. Even on the day of our transfer we waited 2 hours and 45 mins before being called back. And THEN, even though I was paying twenty five thousand dollars to be seen by Dr. Potter, the best IVF doctor around, 90% of the time was I was seen by the ultra sound tech, even when I specifically scheduled my appointment to be seen by Dr. Potter himself. And then theres the coordinators. Stephanie, oh Stephanie. First of all, shes not a nurse, not even an LVN, so I was never confident asking her any type of question referring to my treatment plan, but since I rarely got to actually see Dr. Potter, she was my only option. She preferred being reached by email outside of your normal appointment time, and yes, I admit, I had a lot of questions, so I did email her quite frequently. When I emailed her with my questions, often in lengthy emails containing multiple questions, days later I would get a response from her, and it would be a one word or one sentence email, that usually failed to address all of my questions, and I would have to email again to pry the answers out of her.I could go on and on about how poor my experience was. I know they have high success rates on paper, but just know, its not what you think. I kept telling myself that I didnt care if I had to deal with a long wait or flakey coordinator since I was working with the best doctor, thinking I wouldnt have to deal with them after I got my happy ending, but it wasnt worth it, and it wasnt the case. Since a large portion of Dr. Potters patients are there for genetic testing (PGD) and gender selection, and not necessarily patients struggling with infertility, his success rates are naturally going to be higher. That being said, we were not dealing with infertility, and had a genetically normal embryo, and were still unsuccessful. Awful experience all around!! Trust me, look somewhere else!!
I Want to thank Natalie Woods, she was the one to take care of me when she returned from maternity leave. I think moms make the difference when dealing with us that are trying to get pregnant. Natalie helped me during the journey and with all my heart I thank this support that makes the giant impact emotional and physical. Kailea Nuzzo was my previous one, also a dear. Its my second try, I did not get pregnant on the first try, but this second I got for the first time, and went up to the 10th week. Thank you!!!
It’s all about the money! Two cycles here and I am even traumatised from HRC name! Not recommending this place, never!
We are complete ❤ Dr. Frederick and Priscilla are the most dedicated, compassionate, and transparent souls in our journey process. The love and commitment is heartfelt, we will forever be grateful with every second of life.
What struck me about Dr. Coffler was his honesty and straightforwardness from day one on what exactly I needed to do . He was able to give me a clear roadmap from our first consultation . This was so helpful because my anxiety and worries were lessened through the process. With his assistance and guidance I just found out that I am pregnant! I know beyond a shadow of doubt this would not have been the case without the great care and guidance I received and I am forever grateful !From day one Dr. Coffler and Angel both answered every question, listened to every concern and assisted with me with even the tiny details in my process .Angel is just amazing. I can not count the number of times I messaged her with questions and concerns and as busy as I know she is, she would always take the time to respond. My experience has been wonderful and I am happy to recommend .
They get one star solely based on their coordinator Priscilla. She is so rude and treated myself and the surrogacy agency like we are nothing but an inconvenience. I unfortunately did not have a say in the fertility clinic my IPs chose, I wish I had. They have made this entire experience so stressful. Thankfully my embryo transfer was successful and hopefully I never have to encounter this place ever again.
This is only for the lab that is supposed to take care of the embryos. My doctors and nurses during the entire process including retrieval were absolutely incredible and made the process painless and so much better than I expected. However after my eggs were retrieved and handed off to the lab all but one did not survive. First of all my husband and I have not had any trouble conceiving... I got pregnant within months of first trying but it was ectopic so I ended up loosing my left Fallopian tube in January and my right in July from another ectopic. Now invitro is my only option since I no longer have Fallopian tubes. My eggs have not been a problem so when I am told all but one made it it seems a bit shocking. I then read other reviews on here from other couples who were also told that their first round of invitro was unsuccessful due to the embryos not surviving then went to other fertility clinics and had most of their embryos survive at other labs.It appears more than “bad luck” especially since my babies seem to be such fighters they can even grow and rupture Fallopian tubes- where they aren’t supposed to be able to survive and yet in the HRC lab which should be ideal conditions they don’t thrive? I love my doctor and am hoping he will work with me on finding a different, more skilled lab.
Dr potter I am not the only one to give you 1 star if you HRC read the people review they are complaining. Your staff is horrible they treat me like I don’t know anything because English is not my first language. They kept me confused. I wanted to transfer one embryos they were forcing me to transfer 2 because it’s more chances to get pregnant I did transfer 2 I had miscarriage. It’s a lot to say but I can’t write everything down to express my feelings😢 I am really sad 😞 now I am keep calling them they don’t answer me they might block my number.
I am a surrogate and had the best experience with Dr. Frederick. She is professional and personal at the same time. Happy to say I am pregnant for an amazing couple. Thank you Dr. Frederick and staff for a great experience.
If you are looking here I dont have to tell you how stressful it is to deal with fertility issues. Knowing not all clinics are created the same, my wife and I called several essentially as an interview of sorts. This is the only clinic that charged for the initial consultation, a fact we did not learn until weeks after the call when a bill arrived. A week prior to the call we were asked to assemble our records which we did. The call then started 50 minutes late and it was clear the doctor had not so much as glanced at the information we prepared and sent. That was frustrating to have HRC demonstrate they do not respect our time (twice over). The doctor also used alarming language to describe our situation, adjectives like scary low were used to describe SA results that every other clinic mentioned were low for IUI but great for IVF with ICSI. I walked away feeling that this clinic did not value my time, and felt they used what amounts to scare tactics to have us use their services. At the end of the call my wife was crying and more frustrated and scared then when we began the call, not exactly what you hope for in a fertility center.
Horrible experience. Do research, there are plenty of better options out there. Once our IVF cycle failed, we said we couldnt afford a second attempt at that point. They claimed they offer a heavy discount to second time customers. So we wet in the next room and met with the financial people where they told us another cycle would actually be more then the one we just paid for. So much for the heavy discount they claimed. My sister did IVF also and when the first try didnt take the doctor offered her a second attempt for half price AND if it failed she would get a FULL REFUND for the second attempt. At the end of our experience with HRC we felt like they just wanted to get as many people signed up for IVF as possible. They didnt give the impression that they actually wanted to help us have a baby, they just wanted another $15k-$20k on the books. So many more complaints, but this is long enough already.Do your research before choosing a clinic.
Absolutely horrible. My wife and I made an appointment with this facility because they offered a free consultation. Jane L. Frederick was 1 hour late in seeing us, without any information or tests started recommending medical procedures, and rushed us off to assistants to start making appointments for who knows what. This was a horrible experience. To add to this, they charged our insurance for the free consultation and have yet to refund us. These people are crooks and will use scare tactics to get you into procedures you most likely do not need. Please take my review and the other ones on here as a serious warning about this place.
After many years of trying to be patient in resolving our issue with this office, you really need to pay attention to this review.Dr. Koffler is an amazing doctor. But the billing and service here is beyond frustrating. They have sent us to collection since 2010. They are billing us for a service we did not choose to do. We opted out and documented to opt out.We have reached out to their office and staff but we are not getting the response to resolve this. This is affecting our credit. There is no humanity. We have reached our for over 5 years now.So be warned and be careful who you want to use.Anne Wiker
RUN DONT WALK AWAY - they should NOT be in business! They should be shut down! I wish that I could give this place zero stars or less, this was absolutely the worst experience of my entire life with the worst medical staff I have ever encountered. Dr. Potter should not have his medical license, he does not care about his patients at all, he only cares about making money and squeezing as many appointments in as possible. He is constantly late to his appointments by one or two hours or more, and he prefers to work with people who have no actual fertility issues. His bedside manner is terrible and he makes you feel that every single thing that he is doing wrong is your bodys fault and that you are incapable of having children and if it doesnt work then its your fault not his. Every other fertility clinic will make a plan based on your body, but he does the exact same thing for every single person, meaning that he is lazy and doesnt actually care about you and he has no actual abilities to help you. He only cares about money and fame. He was featured on Reality TV shows and clearly only cares about fame and fortune, not about people who actually need help. He should absolutely be put out of business. And this place defends him to the end, which means I dont respect them at all either. They know what happened to me and others and would rather protect their own than be ethical. They offered to pay for a service for me and I saw it as hush money - its despicable. His main coordinator is Stephanie Castillo and she is JUST as bad as him - an absolutely horrible person who doesnt understand or care about her patients. She is lazy, late, doesnt do her work at all, and I needed to do everything for her. They neglect patient care to the point of causing issues with the fertility treatments and pregnancies, causing things not to work out directly because of their lack of care and abilities. I have spoken to so many other medical professionals that think that this place is a disaster and a disgrace to infertility treatments and doctors everywhere, and I do not know why they are still in business. NEVER COME HERE!
My wife and I had failed IVF at this clinic with Dr. Federick. We know that is not always successful when it comes to IVF. However, the physician recommended so many costly procedures that upon research have not been proven to be statistically significant in terms of increasing the odds. These procedures include intralipid therapy, acupuncture, and anesthesia during transfer. Also ivf transfer are normally done with full bladder and my wife was never told this. No wonder we were told that it is a difficult transfer and was told that we have cervical stenosis needing anesthesia and hysteroscopy very costly. We went to Loma Linda Uinversity center for fertility with Dr Bareh. The care is night and day compare to HRC. We are now pregnant on the first try with Loma Linda university clinic. We didnt need anesthesia for transfer as we were told to have a full bladder. We were also told at HRC that we have cervical stenosis, requiring operative hysteroscopy costing much and they didnt do a single thing. All we needed was a full bladder. Do yourself a favor and go up to Loma Linda center for fertility.
My husband and I have only positive things to say about Donor Nexus and are so grateful we found them.It was a big decision to make and was extremely difficult to make because you have to get past the fact that you arent passing your individual genes on, but once you get past that you are fine. What helped me get past that is realizing the baby is mine and so a part of me. The baby depends on you for everything. Baring the child I think is crucial, and without donor nexus it wouldnt be possibleIt was simple to work with them. It was all a smooth process.
*Just another fish market.*Way too expensive for their overalls. Their price increases this March*Do not let them get your blood- instead get a lab slip and go to Lab Corp or Lab Quest.( HRC profit here and there for that many times they draw your blood. Their Phlebotomists are unprofessional, are not human that they poking you like animals, and usually will blame on you if they are unable to get you blood)Ex: They always find it difficult to get my blood in the morning, literally 8 out of 8 times, usually they used from 2 to 5 needles pokes to get my blood and its painful when they inserted the needle in. Once and also is the last time I ever seen HRCs Phlebotomists, she poked me 5 different spots and was still unable to get my blood then insisted me to rest for several minutes before getting poked more. I refused then they finally gave me a lab slip to Quest on the same day. Phlebotomists at Quest found my big juicy vein and was able to draw it painlessly with 1 needle.* Thoroughly check your bills IF YOU GO THERE ( front desk make mistakes all the time)* Beware- some workers there are lazy. They wont do their job until it is almost closing time. I had that issue and addressed that to that staffs and other supervisors. It improved in my case.
Natalija is a great person work with at HRC she is very kind and extremely helpful. Knows her job very well!
They did wonderful job help us chasing our dream. My coordinator Tina is very professional and nice. Highly recommended.
Dr. Lisa Becht is the most wonderful Dr that I know. I fell safe in her hands.
Horrible experience...they are overbooked, I missed an entire cycle because the coordinator did not call me back as was indicated by the clinic. I had to call back several times and they were clueless.
Customer service wasnt as friendly to Asians.
This place is not good they treat patients very bad while they are having a massive pain I don’t recommend this facility to anyone it’s a fraud been there and it was a nightmare
Sadly not one of my favorite places. Would not recommend
Not a pleasant experience.
HRC is a very bad hospital. The management is very chaotic and there is a problem of arbitrary charging. When they charge you money, they promise that you can refund it at any time. Then when you refund the money, they will find various reasons to refuse the refund. If you pay, they will also say that you owe the hospital fees. This in vitro fertilization hospital that specializes in deceiving Chinese people hopes that everyone will read more of their negative reviews online. It is recommended that everyone try to find an in vitro fertilization hospital that is truly American-run. I have hired a lawyer now. In the future, I will record the experience of how HRC deceived the Chinese people into a short video and post it on major new media platforms. I hope everyone will not be fooled!
