Unfortunately my experience with her is that her main goal is getting your business even if that takes providing you with grossly wrong advice.I did four rounds of egg freezing at 39 with her. She advised that using my frozen eggs will be successful and she has predictions for two babies. As she was giving me this advice I was doing my research on the internet and the internet was saying the opposite - that the chances of two babies are low and there are no grounds for any confidence in success. But I thought I should trust the doctor- not the internet. That turned out to be a big mistake- the internet was correct and Dr. T was completely wrong. I ended up with one blast and zero babies.I don’t think Dr. T thought it was a big deal that her projection for two babies was so wrong so she just disappeared. I had to throw a fit at one of the nurses that this is just wrong for Dr T to meet with me and say something about her completely wrong two babies prognosis. She claimed that my results are something that never happens. I told her that when I looked online the first woman who posted her results about using her frozen eggs had similar results with mine and across the board the results of other women who posted their results from freezing their eggs are the same. She claimed that this is not true- they do it all the time at her clinic with egg donors and it works. To this day I can’t believe Dr. T made this ridiculously negligent argument. Egg donors are younger than 33. That is because after 33 egg quality starts declining, after 37 it starts declining at a fast pace and by the time you are 39 your egg quality is way declined compared to where it was when you were a young egg donor. Using egg donors as proof that using my 39 year old frozen eggs should have worked is simply negligent.I changed clinics because I lost trust in her. At my new clinic nobody was surprised about the results I had. One of the doctors actually knew that my frozen eggs had not developed into blasts before I even told her that is what had happened. The feedback from my new clinic was that age plays a huge role in how the eggs will react and 39 is too late for egg freezing. When I had the genetic testing for the embryo done they told me that there is only a 30% chance that a 39 year old embryo will be normal. So I did the math factoring in the slower reaction rate of older frozen eggs, the 30% chance of a normal blast with 39 year old eggs and the 50% chance that a normal embryo will implant - I would have needed over 120 eggs to get the two babies Dr. T was so confidently predicting I was going to end up having with the original 22 39 year old eggs I had .Finally when I moved to my new clinic the very first thing I noticed is how much better the quality of service is. At my new clinic I got plenty of attention from the physicians, they were very responsive to any questions I had, and they were always right on time for their appointments and procedures. I don’t know why Dr. T was always late for her appointments, a lot of times excessively late. She was even very late for her retrievals which have to be timed properly to get good results- otherwise you could lose eggs to ovulation. That’s what happened to my last retrieval where she was about an hour and a half late and, as a result of that, out of the 13 follicles I walked in the OR with, she only retrieved 6 eggs. I asked the nurse why is there such a huge discrepancy- there was no logical explanation other than curt and unprofessional “that’s what you had.” The explanations I was getting at my new clinic were way better, way more professional and I had a clear picture of what was going on.Also, getting Dr. T to call you or hearing from her takes a miracle ( or having to throw a serious fit at the nurse that her lack of responsiveness is just ridiculous). If you have a question for her subsequent to meeting her- good luck hearing from her. Dr. T has the typical bedside manners and performance of a doctor from the former communist block and I don’t recommend her to anyone.

Dear Dr. Trukhacheva. My husband and I want to give you a million thank you for making our dream came true💗You are kind and made us feel that we will have a baby. Dr. Trukhacheva was our third specialist. First specialist, no pregnancy. 2nd specialist, ectopic pregnancy follow by no more pregnancy. With Dr. Trukhacheva we finally had our princess 3 weeks ago. Not once she treated me or focused on my BMI. She made me believe that this is it and finally we have our miracle daughter. Best physician and wonderful staff.

I am in shock of the horrendous experience I had under Dr. Trukhacheva care at RMI Oakbrook. Scheduling errors, vital medical oversights, contradicting results and incorrect prescriptions were made with my treatment. I was often confused and overwhelmed with next steps due to lack of communication. When I voiced concerns, I was belittled and yelled at by nurses, even hung up on by Laura when she told me my phone conference appointment with Dr. T was canceled (without my knowledge or permission.) Based on personal exp from previous fet treatment here, this office has taken on a very lax approach to patient care which is not a good match for successful and stress free fertility care. I decided to leave, mid-treatment, when it was made very clear Dr Trukhacheva would not even return a call to her patients, despite being in tears over the nurses actions and treatment. The Dr didn’t even return a call to my primary doctor when I was having a side effect to the prescription she very recently prescribed me. Either Dr. T has no idea how her staff treats patients or she doesn’t care, hard to say which one is worse. I would have much preferred to share my experience privately with the doctor but the employees at RMI decided I did not deserve such opportunity.
