For how crappy of a situation it is to have to go see a fertility specialist for any reason, this amazing team made it seem doable. Everyone on staff were so kind and caring. They explained everything so clearly and helped me feel like each aspect of the treatments were doable. By the time we were able to get that positive test and transfer to a regular obgyn it was the most bitter sweet experience i have ever had because everyone on staff had turned into family by that point and I was honestly sad to not have an excuse to see them every week. The results however were worth every bit of time and energy I spent there. I wouldnt hesitate one bit recommending Utah Fertility Center to anyone I know.

Utah Fertility Center is the place to go when you and/or your partner are struggling with fertility. My IVF nurse was amazing. She took care of me and helped me throughout the process. Dr. Gurtcheff was incredible and worked incredible along side my nurse. The educational modules are incredible. They helped ease my anxieties and answered a lot of my questions. The Ogden staff were wonderful and always answered my questions and concerns. I truly felt like I was being taken care of and my journey was top priority for them. I am truly grateful for UFC. Without them I wouldn’t be able to be pregnant now. Thank you UFC!

Infertility is hard. Utah Fertility made the process a lot more bearable. They have great staff, nurses, and doctors. Getting ready for my first transfer didnt go very smoothly, but they were there to help the whole way. My second transfer went great, with no complications. They made it possible for us to have 2 beautiful babies!

We had such an amazing experience with Utah Fertility Center. We have been trying for almost 8 years to bring a little one into our lives, seeing multiple doctors, getting different opinions and trying all the things in the book with no success. We heard through a friend about UFC so we decided to give it a try. We worked with Dr. Gurtcheff and absolutely loved her from the very beginning. It was the first time that I felt like the doctor actually cared about us and wanted us to have a baby just as much as we did. I loved the whole staff and everyone was so welcoming. I cried multiple tears when I “graduated” from the UFC and went on to seeing a regular OB. I would highly recommend UFC to anyone who is looking for answers for their unexplained infertility.

Currently 17 weeks pregnant with a 5.7 endometrium lining at time of transfer prep thanks to Dr Gurtcheff. When I had a hiccup with my coordinator she took full responsibility and saved my cycle by being quick and decisive. She didn’t turn me away or tell me to get a surrogate for being a difficult case. I moved care from Boise and it was the best decision I made during the IVF process.

I worked with UFC as a gestational carrier and had a great experience with them. UFC uses evidence based science and my med protocol was more simple than other carriers. Communication was clear. I felt like every person I worked with was rooting for our success. Dr. Gurtcheff was very kind and also knowledgeable in directing care. Im grateful I could work with such great people to help complete a beautiful family.

Dr. Gurtcheff and all the staff at Utah Fertility are absolutely amazing. Our chances were very low when we did ivf due to only have 1 embryo to work with. It was our first time doing ivf though after all our other Fertility options failed and after 13 years about we gave ivf a shot and our one sweet Embroyo stuck . We def are calling her our sweet lil. Miracle! We couldnt have went through this without your guys love and support. Thanks again!

My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer and this clinic helped us with her fertility preservation before she started chemo. The doctors, nurses, and staff were incredibly helpful. We never experienced the issues with being able to call and get answers that I have seen in other reviews. We had to travel to and deal with three different offices too. They made a horrible, uncomfortable experience for my little girl something she got through with no problems. We will be eternally grateful for the kindness and professionalism of the staff at Utah Fertility Center.

I wouldnt recommend this clinic. Everyone (from the Dr to the office staff) was friendly, but friendliness cant compensate for the issues we experienced. First of all, its VERY hard to actually speak with anyone on the phone. After being on hold for a few minutes, an automated voice tells you to leave a message - and then hangs up on you. I left multiple messages through the course of my time with this clinic, but sometimes there needs to be a way to actually speak to someone, rather than playing phone tag for days!Weve done 4 rounds of IUI (with no success) with our local doctor, so we decided to try Utah Fertility Center. Through the patient portal, I provided extensive medical history, documenting details of our previous rounds of IUI. Dr. Gertcheff suggested we try more IUI. When we showed up for the initial ultrasound done prior to IUI, we paid the full amount of $1300, which is supposed to cover everything for the entire procedure (initial ultrasound, trigger shot, sperm washing, and the actual insemination done a few weeks later). I was surprised to hear the dose of Femara (the fertility med to promote ovulation) prescribed by the Dr. was a lower dose than I used for my previous IUI procedures done with my local dr. Weve been on this infertility road for almost 3 years now and I know the lower dose isnt effective, having tried it already through months of trial and error. When I expressed concern about having to start again at square one, the tech simply said that if it the dose wasnt high enough, theyd up it for the next round - which would be another $1300. Why am I coming to the specialists, if they arent willing to look at my history and BUILD on it - rather that start all over again? They asked me what pharmacy to call in the Femara and I told them the info. I was supposed to start the Femara THAT NIGHT (it has to be taken on specific days of your cycle). We drove straight to our local pharmacy (after along drive home from the clinic), but there was no medication called in for me. Their office failed to call in the prescription. The clinic was closed by this time. I called them the next day 10+ times, but could never get anyone to answer the phones. I also left messages, explaining their mistake and telling them wed need to reschedule my IUI for the following month - because they failed to call in the medication to the pharmacy. I tried again the next day with no success - and then they were closed for the weekend. When I finally got to speak with someone the following week, she assured me shed speak to the billing department and sort things out, since it was their mistake. The plan was to call them again when I started my cycle and wed do it all over again the following month. However, I received a $900 bill the following week. How could they possible be charging me $900 when I had just paid $1300 the week before - and hadnt actually received the service? When I tried in vain to speak over the phone, I left a detailed voicemail explaining the billing mistake and telling them I no longer trusted them and wished to remove myself as a patient and be reimbursement for the $1300 I paid up front. At this point, I received an email, explaining that the $900 bill was for the ultrasound received and that I would need to pay it - despite the fact that it was THEIR ERROR that prevented me from receiving the already-paid-for treatment. I was also told that I would receive a call from their clinic director about my experience - I assume to sort out the billing mess and make things right. Its been over a month, and Ive yet to receive a phone call to correct the problem. I was told in an email that although part of my $1300 credit could cover the ultrasound bill, I still owed $120 for blood work that was not covered. I paid the $120 bill today and still havent received any reimbursement. Basically, I paid $1420 total for IUI - and never received IUI.

Honestly it started off fine. But since doing 3 IUIs, Dr Gurtcheff suggested that our next step was a Laparoscopy. That was in May. (It’s January of the next year now) I have since been ghosted TWICE. After I reached out both times. Over the phone (which is impossible to get ahold of someone), the patient portal, and email. They will get back to me saying they need my insurance, I follow up with my insurance information and then never hear anything again. I follow up numerous times and am left with no response. Which is the most frustrating thing when you’re dealing with infertility. You’re already in a helpless vulnerable state relying on (and paying the hefty price for) fertility specialists and their team. UFC just can’t get it done unless they want money from you. Then you’ll hear from them a lot.

Infertility is a heartbreaking process to go through already, and not getting the communication or help you need is beyond frustrating. We started the process with Utah Fertility Center in October 2022. We live in the Ogden area, but took the first available appointment down in Midvale at the end of January 2023. The first visit with Dr. Gurtcheff went well and we began our IUI treatments soon after (Dr. Gurtcheff and the clinic staff were pleasant to work with). While scheduling the appointments, I was met with issues with staff billing our insurance incorrectly and we ended up paying out of pocket for the first treatment. I was assured that once the insurance was billed properly, that I would receive a refund for the $800 difference. After two more IUI treatments, each having more insurance billing issues, we still did not receive the refund. The next step following the 3 treatments was to meet with the doctor again, at the beginning of May 2023, to go over our options (surgery or IVF). Since we wanted to figure out the cause of our infertility, we opted for surgery. I contacted the surgery scheduler May 12, and still til this day (July 12) have not been scheduled for surgery. Ive left multiple messages throughout the last 2 months, and no one returns my calls. Ive also attempted to contact management, and we even made the drive down to Pleasant Grove to try and speak with someone in person. All have been met with no results. No one should have to work this hard at getting care, ever. At this point, we are beginning the process of switching to another clinic.

We love our UFC south Ogden team! Over the past year they have been so kind, patient and compassionate to my husband and I through many ups and downs. They made it possible for us to now be over 9 weeks pregnant with our first little miracle through IVF! So grateful for all of their staff and Dr. Parker.

Military/TRICARE users avoid this place at all costs. While the Ogden location has always been helpful dealing with the support offices is a nightmare. They aren’t the most military friendly and you will have issues getting things that are covered under TRICARE billed correctly. The medical staff is great but getting ahold of the office staff is impossible. We have been waiting to be scheduled for a medical surgery for two months following the four months we have been going through other treatments and the 4 month waiting period to be seen for a first time. My wife has called multiple times requesting a call just to get an update. We aren’t expecting that we get in tommorow but any form of communication with updates would be appreciated. Calls to the scheduling offices results zero call backs. Calls with the managers havent changed our experience. It’s also back and forth with billing following every visit. We have paid out of pocket for procedures and have been told that we would be credited once insurance pays out. We have not received any credits for the procedures that we paid out of pocket for. Two weeks ago we finnally broke down and drove nearly 1.5 hrs to ask in person why we weren’t getting calls back. Once again the scheduler was out for the day but the front desk assured us we would be getting a call today. At 5PM the scheduler finally called my wife back. It shouldn’t take us getting in the car and visiting the location to get any sort of customer service. It also shouldn’t be a fight to get the bills itemized so that TRICARE will cover most of the charges. I honestly hate mark down the Ogden location but their parent company just makes this process worse. The staff at this location are friendly but Utah Fertility Center as a whole doesn’t seem to care all that much.As of 12 July 2023 we still have no communication apart from the one phone call mentioned above. Today we decided to make a consultation with another clinic. After nearly 2 months of waiting for just a phone call to schedule/get an update we can’t recommend this organization to anyone.

Its not often that I write reviews but I felt this needed to be done. I have PCOs and have dealt with infertility for 5 years. We went to UFC after not getting clear direction from a competitor of theirs on the next steps for treatment. Our experience was absolutely phenomenal! We loved our time at UFC! Dr. Gurtcheff and her staff treated us with top-tier compassion, took our concerns seriously and helped us navigate our journey with transparency. It is because of them, I now hold my rainbow baby. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Horrid experience. Dr. Peterson was condescending and uncaring, its extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone in their offices and theres never accountability taken. They will tell you their phones are so busy yet when you show up for an appointment the receptionist seems surprised to see you and is never on the phone. Would recommend to absolutely no one unless you wanted to be demeaned

I worked with Dr. Jason Parker and he was incredible! He was very sensitive and genuine and always made me feel like top priority when he worked with me. He reached out to me over the weekend to check on me when I had my miscarriage just to see how I was doing and to say sorry for my loss. Couldn’t say enough wonderful things about this place that helped me bring my beautiful sweet boy into this world!

The staff in Ogden were absolutely phenomenal. They became a part of our family. Dr Gurtcheff was amazing before & during the entire IVF process. The entire process was actually a great experience & we feel so lucky to graduate to an OB Dr after 10 years of trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant. It’s a dream come true.

We appreciate Dr. Gurtcheff and staff, always so informative and concise. Appointments are booked out a ways but they always make an effort to get us in as soon as possible. Pricing was always clearly stated (our insurance does not cover these visits) and we never felt in the dark, which made it a lot easier to focus in the appointments without worry of what bills might show up.

Dr. Dorais and her staff were nothing short of amazing. They are personable and caring. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs, as we live out of state. We also couldn’t be more happy with our results, which welcomed our baby boy this year. We could never thank Dr. Dorais and her staff enough for our sweet “miracle” baby.

I love the staff here, epecially Lolly & the other front desk gal (I dont remember her name right now). Dr. Dorais is so kind & breaks things down in a way you can underatand. We were told we were going in for a free consultation. Everybody was super friendly when we got there. We were never told about any charges or that we were going to get billed. That was almost a year ago. Now we are getting calls from a collection agency saying that we owe hundreds of dollars to this place but we never once were told we were going to be billed and we never once received a bill. Although the staff is super friendly, be wary because they will charge you hidden fees that were never discussed.
