They are not organized. Steven who is suppose to be the trama nurse told me to go to a local over 30 minutes from my home for X-ray and when I got there, they did not have a work order for the x ray Steven is the person who told me come to the strakka location and get there before 5 pm to get the X-ray. Really unprofessional and took no responsibility for his errors. I ask for him to have manager call me I have not received a call yet. Then I go over to urgent care and they are unprofessional. They sitting in the front laughing and playing in a place of business. There are three of them 1 male and 2 females. Very unprofessional. I need to find a different provider.
Stay away from Dr April Johnson , not only is she rudeHer level of profecionalism lacks. The way she handles patients is unnaceptable!Anyways, Never coming back or recomending this place.
We love Dr. Kyle Stewart (pediatrician) we have been seeing him for our babygirl since she was born. She is now 4 month. I would recommend him to anyone! He is very knowledgeable and honest about any questions I ask. He doesn’t make us feel uncomfortable about our decision making and doesn’t force things on you and respectfully makes sure that we have all the information we need to explore our options along the way. And we love his shoe game and his cool socks haha That you Dr. Stewart! :)
I wanna leave a review on Nurse Practitioner April Johnson. There are not many providers who actually care about their patients and she does. You have 15 minutes with the provider and she did more in the 15 mins than I’ve had in years with doctors. I came in with severe jaw pain which I thought was completely unfixable and I just had to live with it. She prescribed me medicine and I woke up today with no pain. My swelling has gone down and I can eat for the first time in days. She listened to all of my concerns, she helped me so much and I’m so thankful. I left Variety Care Britton with two referrals, a follow up appointment in a week, blood work and three prescriptions that have dramatically helped my quality of life in less than 12 hours. So I can’t speak on the whole of the facility but Nurse Practitioner April Johnson is someone who wants to help people and her nurse who took my vitals during my visit!
Never coming back here, April Johnson failed me she failed to diagnose me and referred me to urology when I in fact NEVER had a uti or any urinary problems AT ALL. Last time I saw her 2 weeks ago it was obvious I had symptoms of GERD and she failed to realize that, she referred me to psychiatry because she thought I was lying or thought my symptoms were all in my head?! I had to get a new PCP and she finally diagnosed me with GERD and gave me medication that made me feel better. She is my new pcp now!
Absolutely the worst place to get care at. First off in 2022 I went for a Pap smear that came back with irregular cells that led me to get a colposcopy in October of 2023 because they let those cells sit there for more than a year saying it was yeast. I was texted for cancer cells which came back low grade & refuse to allow me to get constant check ups to make sure everything is good. The doctor that performed the colposcopy said I had to return every 4-6 months to get checked up. I received my reminder through my chart that it had been 4 months and I was due for a pap and I have been having constant stomach issues so I went ahead and scheduled 2 appointments the same day for both my pap and wellness check up about my stomach. During my appointment one nurse said I never got tested for any type of cervical stuff and that the doctor that performed my colposcopy said to come back 12 months later even though I got my reminder. I tried to explain that I’ve been doing these appointments for over a year now and she had the nerve to tell me no that I never even tested for irregular cells but I have endless screen shots of everything I’ve done with them. They tried to talk to me like I didn’t know what was going on with my OWN body! My wellness check up was even worse because I tried to explain to her that I was due for a biopsy in 2016 but I wasn’t able to obtain that referral and that my stomach had just gotten worse time after time and she tried to tell me it was due to recent cannabis use. It’s like they don’t want to help you when you’re explaining to them the pain you are in. I told them I didn’t use cannabis when my problems started. I can’t eat, I constantly throw up, I get these bad anxiety attacks and I can’t use the bathroom and have even had blood when I use the bathroom and they said drink water and change your diet which I have and the symptoms are worse by the minute. I saw I wasn’t gonna get the help I needed from the so I decided to change providers and when I called to ask for my referral they made it IMPOSSIBLE and said that they could msg my provider but that she might deny the request so not only are they not helping when I’m telling them there is something wrong with my body but now they are refusing to give my medical records over to a new provider. Obviously it has been very stressful for me and I went back for 2 years mainly because my children but when it comes to the adults I would highly recommend not going to this location in particular. My children go the the location on tenth but they have been transferred as well because if they refuse to tell me what’s going on, who knows what they’ll refuse my children. Absolutely the worst experience of my life and I Pray nothing comes out wrong with me because I have recordings of me telling them and them not even knowing my medical history saying I didn’t even get a colposcopy.
I started coming here when I first moved to Oklahoma when I was pregnant. The OB I saw pushed her religious views onto me and even lied about Oklahoma laws during that time. Very rude and unprofessional, lied about when my next appointment was. Even when I had a card THEY gave me, To try and stop my switch to another provider that requested some info. I stopped going to this location, as I didn’t have a need until recently.I wanted to get a PCP as i developed a medical condition where I need medication. The Dr Denise Brown was super kind and sweet. Unfortunately I will not be continuing here, because of prescription issues. I’ve been without medication for 2 weeks waiting on back and forth calls, to try and get this situation fixed. I’d be promised a call or update and wait days, to reach out again, and to find out they never even informed the dr of my issues. This morning I had a huge medical emergency because of it, and had to go to an ER. Still don’t have my meds. I wish this doctor the best! But it’s not a fit with the unprofessional staff and time responses. Very unsafe clearly.
I personally haven’t had an issue except with the older woman in the vision dept having a bad attitude today 5/17. I understood what she was saying and the point she was trying to make but she didn’t understand me apparently. She was just repeating the same things over and over and in that time couldn’t print a prescription without again repeating herself. I was just telling her what I had been told when I called prior to going. I had a prenatal appointment to go to so I just wanted to take care of everything at the same time. It seemed like she was having a bad day but I didn’t want to stay for her to keep taking it out on me lol.The first floor desk receptionists wee nice but they were talking about another patient after they couldn’t help her and she stepped out. They were laughing and making fun of her and it was just uncomfortable. The main person that was making fun of her said she was the supervisor for variety care Britton. I knew the answer to the woman’s question that they couldn’t answer or find anyone to answer so I’m sure they did too. Variety care was a lot better a few years ago and I only stay because Dr. Rainwater but other than the medical professionals it’s not great.
The OB/GYN Shana SOLÍS is rude she doesn’t even get toknow you she approaches rudely she doesn’t care about you or your baby. She just cares about her paycheck probably She is very rude, very unprofessional and I do not recommend her or this variety care OB/GYN I also didn’t like the fact that I I’ve heard them talking about the people that they seen that day in a negative way.
SOME of The staff and the nurse practitioner (solely) here for women’s services had been completely nasty to me on multiple appointments. I will never go back. If you don’t like your job, find something else.
I really like the location on Britton. It was clean and the staff was nice. However Ive been waiting 5 days for them to call me with my lab results. I went in on a Monday here it is Friday, Ive called a total of three times and they said my results are in but nobody will return my call with my results. My patience is running thin. But the family doctor I seen ( Mark Osbourne) he was very helpful and did what he could to assist my needs. Just getting impatient on waiting for a call back.
Dr. Solis at the Britton location had horrible bedside manner. I have four children and have never in my life been treated by any obgyn the way she treated me at my appointment. She was cold, rude & unhelpful. She didnt want to answer any of my questions & acted like she didnt believe me when I said I had heavy cramps ( even though I told her I had been to the ER the day before, showed her the paper work and that doctor said it could be endometriosis). The back office staff was extremely rude as well. Dr. Solis was incredibly rude and condescending towards me and treated me as if I didnt deserve care.
Waited over 3 1/2 months for my appointment with Dr Garton. Spoke to staff almost a dozen times between November and March 1st only to get turned away because staff failed to tell me I needed a Principle Care Doctors referral. Very unprofessional, and a huge way to let someone down who just wants counseling.
While the receptionists and nurses were kind, the doctor i saw was awful, i canceled all future appointments and got a new doc somewhere else, and now they wont stop hounding me about coming back for a check up. Id appreciate it if that would stop as I will not be returning. I would also not like we would like to follow up because my husband called and talked to the manager the same day after the incident. I think the canceled appointments shouldve been clear that we would not be returning, not even to a different doctor.
My old sliding scale clinic only charged me $20 a visit. Boy, do I regret moving... Thats how sliding scale should work. But not here. I really needed help and it took a month to get an appointment. When my appointment came they switched to telehealth which was fine. I was promised my prescriptions had been sent to my pharmacy. Nope. My pharmacy even tried to contact them three times but no one ever responded. No fee was ever mentioned but a week later I received a bill for $400. For what??? You did NOTHING. I came in to verify my income and was told I make too much money to qualify for lower rates.... Right now 90% of my income goes to bills. I didnt have the $200 to pay today so I have to go through all of this again with a new practice. Thanks.I will say that all of the receptionists were nice and as helpful as they could be. My issue is not with them at all.You need to be upfront with your prices. I already had to drive an hour there and back to my house for this BS. I can hardly afford gas but I make too much money. Ridiculous.
If you arent low income - go elsewhere. A simple office visit can cost you $260. I was charged $260 to establish care! Never have I paid so much to see a doctor.If you are low income, the doctors that I saw (Hilda Rodriguez & Katherine Gardner) are great! They listen to you and give advice tailored to you. The advice just isnt worth paying so much more than market value.
I’ve been coming here for over a year. unfortunately, it’s the only place my insurance will cover for certain things so i have to come here. if i didn’t, i would pick anywhere but here.i think a lot of people that go here are in the same situation. our insurance pays and we deserve better care. most of the staff is extremely rude, only two are good. the doctor there is terrible. she doesn’t care about your well-being like a doctor should. she’s dismissive of all health concerns and when she makes a mistake, she makes it out to be your fault. if you’re there for therapy you won’t get therapy, just medication. go somewhere else, anywhere else if you can. this place is a sad excuse for health care
Horrible. We sat for two hours and still didnt get help. Now I have to schedule with a different doctor, still need vaccines for school. No way I would go back here. I have updated name address and phone number repeatedly but all the information on file is still wrong. Rude office staff that called me for 2 weeks no matter how many times I said I would not be back. Very very unprofessional. Supposed to have Spanish speaking nurses but shocker, couldnt get one. No paperwork work in Spanish either.
Rude staff. New people up front do t know what they are doing. Asked me to for my member number for my insurance. After that then then asked me to find the mailing address for the insurance company. And if I didn’t I would then receive a bill. Never had issues here before. Just new people do t like to work.
I like the way everything like the dentist, eye, doctor, Pharmacy, and other services is in all one building. However, I dislike they only take two kids at a time during appointments and you will have to schedule the other kids another day. The pharmacy is a great plus with nice customer service. I dont know much about the eye doctor because Im loyal to another eye doctor location. The dentist is only open for certain days and times so be aware of that too. The doctor we have got have crazy unrealistic expectations for a child and will schedule for other uncalled appointments. Otherwise everything else was a alright experience..I might be changing my children physician TBH.
Worse place to go the cancel appointments that take 2-3 months without notice. Than use the cya you can reschedule. I will no longer take my family to variety care and you should twice about going there yourself.
My stepmom works here and I come here for routine check ups. Staff is always friendly and it’s refreshing to see kind faces. Today I came here to get my first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. From the person who checked me in to the person who checked me out, everyone met me with kindness! The process was smooth, fast and efficient! Great place to get your vaccine
My husband and I received both our first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at this location. Very organized. In and out in less than 30 minutes including our 15 minute post-vaccine observation. Facility is clean and staff is very friendly.
I have been to other locations. I had an appointment yesterday. The appointment was rushed. It seemed like no one listened. Even when i made the appointment over the phone. I asked about a specific question about a service they had, i guess that somehow got interpreted as me having some type of symptoms , which i wasnt. I get to the appointment and the nurse is asking me about symptoms that i never said i had and then the doctor comes in and ask me the same questions. She was in a hurry. I dont even know if i was suppose to get the referral that day because she forgot or call to get it. The only good thing i can say, the wait time wasnt too bad. Thats why i dont have a primary care doctor. I havent been able to find a good one. I dont like going to the doctor, but if i found a good one it would make the experience so much better
Very clean, friendly, organized and Dr. Rodriguez is very down to earth and makes you feel at ease. I dont dread going to see her. I feel heard and like she takes everything I say into account in making a plan for my care.
I filled two prescriptions here then when I got a third they said they couldnt fill my prescription bc they dont take my insurance. Medicaid and Ambetter? Really? Funny that the location at Straka can now I have to drive all the way to Southside from Britton.
My wife works for Variety Care at the Britton location. They are doing covid vaccine clinics there on the weekends so I volunteered to greet people and help get them checked in. I don’t work in healthcare, but as a consumer of healthcare, I’ve had both good and bad experiences and I know the importance of good customer service. From a person on the outside looking in, I have to say that I was so impressed by the professionalism, efficiency and kindness that I saw displayed by every single staff member. The greeters, receptionists, and nurses were all wonderful. Dr. Rainwater was unfailingly patient and kind, even though she barely had a moment to breathe. But the real MVP was the person in charge- Lizareli Espinoza. I saw her in every part of that clinic. She knew what was going on at all times. She even anticipated what needed to happen, so before someone asked- she was already there to help. She went out of her way to make sure every single person was taken care of from beginning to end. She made sure each staff member was able to step away for a quick break but I never saw her take one herself. She was so gracious and professional. That’s what I call a leader!
Variety Care is a top notch facility for your healthcare needs! I received my Covid vaccinations from this facility and it was seamless and easy. The staff were friendly and very attentive and the whole process was quick and organized. I am thankful to Variety Care!
My daughter is on adhd medication and every month she needs a refill it takes them anywhere from 3 days to a week to call it into the pharmacy.This month we’re going on two weeks and it still hasn’t been called in and no one calls us back I’ve asked to speak to someone to fix this situation and they say someone will call me back but never do.Don’t be a patient here if you rely on adhd medicine.This has been an ongoing issue for years.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!!!The staff here are rude and totally unprofessional. Violated the HIPAA laws by bringing my test sample out to the office and calling out what I was being tested for as they work together as a team on trying to find the cost of the labs Id owed that day, to still not know by the end of the whole thing. After informing managment about the situation, I was informed that non of what I said was true. The 5 staff all told the same story so me the victim was lying on there staff. Im absolutely unsatisfied with the way Ive been handling by the company. Even after asking to see someone for mental health it wasnt taken seriously. I had to call and call to get information. I finally gave up, this clinic is dangerous to people in real need of mental and physical health!

If you use brittons services i recommend Dr Rodriguez for adult health and really really recommend Dr Stuart for Pediatrician dept.Also Dr Bailey Williams is awesome but youll find her at the Straka place.No health Place is perfect but we should be thankful and grateful for having this clinic closer to home.

I highly recommend going to Variety Care at Britton. What I like most is that they have all in one. Family medicine, Women’s Health, Pediatric, Vision, Dental and a pharmacy. All the staff is friendly and helpful and make me feel welcomed every time.
Highly recommend Variety Care, this location especially! Evey visit is pleasant. Staff is friendly and the Doctors are very helpful and understanding. My children enjoy being seen, great overall.
$175 to 200.00 for an office visit. Absolutely outrageous!I Walked out. A walk in clinic doesnt charge that much at least you get a discount when your selfpay with no insurance.
Everyone at the clinic from the front desk, to doctor, to pharmacist was very friendly and nice. They are doing such a good thing for single moms and low income homes.

How inhumane can a receptionist be??A front desk receptionist treated my sister horribly on Monday!! Why is she working there if she doesnt have what it takes to be in customer service, hopefully this is brought up to the attention of someone higher and have her fired!! How on Earth was she even hired with that terrible attitude!

How ashamed I should be of the nurse who treated my nephew today for scaring him, she only asked him an innocent question; If the injection to draw the blood was going to hurt and the very professional woman told him; Yes, and it was going to hurt a lot. Just because it belongs to the government does not mean that they will treat you as you want. The nurse doesnt like Hispanics or what? Finally, people are cared for, I remembered upon arrival, why did you let a patient go before my nephew, is it because she is not the same race as the nurse?... I dont know why they dedicate themselves to a career in health if they try the worst. Lets leave racism aside and be more humanitarian.
