RUDE, INCOMPETENT, SORRIEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The staff working at DLO McBride on May 18, 2021, between 12 pm and 2:15 pm were the most incompetent and disrespectful people I have ever encountered in the medical center world.. I had an appointment scheduled for 12:15pm and had fasted overnight plus traveled 3.5 hours to get there, to handle this blood draw conveniently in conjunction with the follow up for TKA done only 10 days ago. The lab order had been sent to DLO clear back on May 5 by my PCP, which should have been plenty of time to iron out questions or resolve any questions DLO had PRIOR to my appointment. The staff at this DLO just brushed me off and ignored me waiting in the lobby, without continuing to check on the status of their“Clarification inquiry” they had deferred by phone to some person out to lunch. I explained I had a Dr’s. Appt. next door at 12:45 pm so they suggested that I go on to it and return afterwards, that things should be ready to go by then. I came back to DLO at 12:50 pm, as I had gotten in early next door with my surgeon. They still wouldn’t touch me until some of the tests ordered were clarified and when I offered a direct line to my physician, they refused to speak directly with my doctor , saying she didn’t even exist in their system and that they couldn’t do that, someone else had to do it. They ignored anything I asked or suggested with gruff responses that it wasn’t their job basically, they were waiting on someone to call them back from the “clarification dept” . I implored them to get that follow up done in a timely fashion, as I was in pain from the knee surgery and had hours to travel, besides being hypoglycemic now at nearly 2 pm! . These gals evidently could not think outside the box or do anything to troubleshoot unusual issues. Every box has to be filled by someone else obviously and they are the robots that complete the blood draw. When they turfed the issue by phone to some “clarification person” who was out to lunch, and left me waiting for over 2 hours for a simple blood draw, I could not believe it. These tests were for an annual panel my doctor requests for health monitoring. No one was wearing names tags, although LeShaun was handwritten on a lab coat, and I asked her for her full name and she refused to give it to me, and refused to share only her supervisor’s first name, Blaire. She and the other gal disappeared to the back while the lobby filledwith people. I called my doctors office 3 hours away and asked if they could just draw the blood and ship it another time and they said of course. So after over 2 hours of wasted time, pain, and unnecessarily being exposed to all the people that flowed through that lab, I left. Disgusted and disappointed in e work ethic and customer service of our upcoming younger generation in the health care system.
Worst experience. Had the first appointment 7:30 am. Got there 10 minutes early like directed and checked in by phone. Finally left at 8:15 after a lady came out and said. The lab person is late and they can’t contact her!!! I left and believe me I won’t go back.
This facility is supposed to open at 7:30. Staff showed up about 10 minutes late, said she will be here soon and took about 20 minutes before the door would be opened. Ridiculous! If you have to be at work or somewhere else, choose another DLO location. Almost 30 minutes from 7:30 and they still werent open. Never mind patients waiting outside the door.
Brand new and conveniently located in the area. It is very close to the Thunder training center as well as the DLO main lab. They were not certified when I went in last week to do the type of test that I needed, but they said they should be by the end of this week. Be sure to double check the hours since the place is new. The staff were very nice.
Do not go here! I’m appalled at the blatant disrespect. My sister was basically accused of providing a false sample. Instead of following protocol “Kenya” told her it didn’t come from her body & that she “wishes people would be honest w/her.” My sister left crying!! I made sure she contacted corporate & I advised her to contact her lawyer as well. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Shame on this company! Not all people have bad character, this company and one particular worker thinks so! God forbid you come in as an honest hard working educated person, and get accused of trying to provide fake urine to gain employment. Don’t go here, because not only does the worker not care but the corporation does not care to follow up with formal complaints.
A dear friend of mine was treated very unfair by a member of the staff here. Their job is to collect urine, not accuse hard working young women seeking employment of being dishonest.
I arrived at 7:30 and was seen promptly. She was kind and professional.

I’ve been here several times. The visits are always quick, and the lab staff go out of the way to ensure things are done correctly. I once made an appointment and got a call from a lab tech who noticed a problem with my lab order. She advised me to have it fixed before coming in, saving me a wasted trip. They’ve done things like this for me multiple times. How awesome is it to have people looking out and doing a good job?
