Most Incompetent Staff I’ve Ever SeenMy special needs toddler needed blood drawn for a total of 3 sets of testing done. First time we went in, the girl didn’t even know how to read the test orders. Several hours later we were called to come back. This time it was 2 girls. Both were rude from the start. I don’t know if they are completely inexperienced or just inexperienced with special needs. But they did not listen to me or observe my son’s cues. He was in high distress and I understand that. But they were rough and completely oblivious as to how to get things done. The girl stuck him twice and even wound up blowing his vein. He has had blood drawn before and never had a vein blown. Then she asked me if I wanted her to stick him AGAIN. Hell no. THEN they couldn’t even make sense of what samples they had for what tests. They told me they had enough for 2 of the 3 tests. I called patient services to see what was sent and what still needed to be done and the rep told me they only saved the blood for one set. Never called me or said anything about now not having the second set. WHY scrap that sample?? Now he has to do those 2 sets ALL over again. As we were leaving I asked about the blown vein and the girl got argumentative. Not just incompetent but also oblivious and insensitive. We’ll never EVER go back to a DLO location.
Ive been coming here for years, its always been uneventful. No complaints. But, the last time I was here. 2 days ago.....is this normal? Ive never had this much blood afterwards.
I had to get blood work done, which I absolutely dread, but one of the lab technicians, Garrett, went above and beyond to make my experience as easy and painless as possible. The blood was drawn and I was on my way in no time!
I went Quest lab to have blood work done because im Transitioning this quest lab never sent in my bloodwork to my provider, and I sat there for a long time I felt like I was treated with the least amount of respect this used to be the lab I would go to anytime I needed bloodwork, But never again, will I go there
The staff were excellent. The wait time was a little longer than expected (they were busy in the morning), but not a big deal. It was quick and painless giving the blood samples (again excellent job).
I came to this location for a 3 hour glucose test on a Saturday. Even though the facility is only opened for 3 hours, I was still able to do the test, thank goodness. I didn’t get called back until 9:30 and had to wait until 12:30 to complete the test. There was only one tech working the entire facility and when I say they were busy, they were BUSY!! She handled every customer/patient as promptly as she was able to being that she was by herself, and she was so kind and still able to make small talk with some who were nervous about getting a test done. Since I was there from open to close, I got to see everyone who came in and Almost everyone who came out. She was truly amazing and a very sweet lady.I’m sorry for all the waiting that people had to do but I understand it’s difficult to give quality service such as drawing blood, in a quick and non interactive way. Again, not the best way to spend the beginning of your weekend but I truly have no complaints with the service and absolutely no complaints with the tech.Thank you So much Miss
I understand on Saturdays you may be short handed and a bit busy but be professional like you told your co-work I complained about how long I sat which I sat longer than usual on a “Saturday” in my face like you were tattling, like grow up and just apologize and continue to work and get pts in and out….
This place was clean, professional, and the staff were sensitive to our crying newborn. Thank you for your kindness and gentleness regarding our little one.
Gave my husband a cup to collect urine and told him to have our one year old pee in it. They were able to draw her blood but if we knew they weren’t capable of doing all the labs we would have went somewhere that could have. It makes no sense to drive all over instead of doing all the tests at one place.Didn’t notify us by text when it was her turn to be seen either. I told my husband they wouldn’t and that he should just wait inside.
Came to get some blood drawn and was immediately met by a kind woman behind the desk. After a very little wait, I went to the back, I let Heather know of my rolling veins and she was completely reassuring. She got me in ONE stick and I hardly felt a thing! Thank you so much Heather and MWC DLO for the great experience!
I went for a Drug Test for a new Job, as a former Customer Service Supervisor for the largest Tech Company in the Country- The Employee Assisting me was polite until I couldn’t fill the cup- and in telling my options to move forward she was very sharp with 0 empathy to my situation in her words or tone. To prevent this she could have pre positioned the possible outcomes prior to my commitment- and had she shown the slightest bit of friendly empathy, it would have made the time I spent waiting to fill my bladder more pleasant
Beware option to sit in car—don’t do it!!! I sat in my car because the lobby was full. Because there was a sit in your car option, and they asked for my cell number, I falsely assumed they would call or text me in my car. I waited 40 minutes—twice the 19 minutes they said my wait would be. Then it took another 10 minutes to get an actual person’s attention. At first, they acted like it was my fault—they called my name in the lobby and I wasn’t there. At least one tech who just came on shift apologized for the wait. I’m still fuming.
BEWARE of billing. My doctor ordered labs and said it did not matter which DLO location I used, which has turned out to be untrue. My bloodwork was completed six months ago, and this DLO location used the wrong diagnostic codes when filing my insurance. In spite of two attempted claims, as of now, I owe $500 out of pocket for one trip to the Midwest City location; my insurance has denied coverage twice. The diagnostic code is still incorrect and is not why my doctor ordered lab work. If you are told to use any DLO location, avoid Midwest City. I will be forced to miss work in attempt to get this claim processed correctly. It has been a horrible, stressful experience. I have used the Gaillardia location numerous times and have never had a claim denied by insurance.
Excellent service. Phlebotomist Mandana is very professional, and friendly. I didn’t notice the needle when she started my blood work.Light touch and gentle . Excellent service
Commincation is poor. Auto check in is poor. Checked into system. No one at the front desk to talk to or verify labs sent. Waited an hour to find out the labs fax went to a different location. They would not call the other location to have the orders faxed over.
Theyve stuck everyone in my family. Weve never been in there longer than 10 minutes! These ladies (never have seen a male) are all great at what they do! We appreciate yall!
Nice people, very gentle. Have used this location several times and each time is the same, they are just genuinely decent and caring.
I’m leaving a 2 because the lady who drew my blood was great but the billing is the worst after months of trying to get them to bill the insurance they continue to refuse to do so I’ve had to email, call, send in my insurance many times without any results DLO is horrible
Absolutely amazing crew! They helped and took good care of me even though I was at the wrong place for my drug screening and they still took the time to find the right place for me so that I wasnt late. Thank you so much
Autumn is the best! She is so sweet, patient and helpful with everyone. Never feel the blooddraw either, very painless!
The first time I went to this location I brought my first daughter the visit was good everything went well it was a couple ladies and they did great however on 5/2/17 I bought my second daughter for her labs at 1 month old and this time it was a guy and I feel he did not have much experience with infants he had to poke and dig once the had to prick both her feet because he was incapable of doing it correct the first time then when he wraped the cotton on it he wrapped it to tight cut off her circulation in both her feet and the wrap left briuses that wrap around her feet
Very efficient and nice
Easily made an appointment ahead, checked in an seen quickly, phlebotomists was nice and did a good job.* I hate needles*
I have had blood tests here many times and the place is always clean. The staff are very friendly and professional..
The phlebotomist was very nice and efficient. I was in and out on 15 minutes.
If you are here for a drug screen it is important to know that there are specific hours for that. M-F 8am-3pm ONLY
In and out quickly and everyone was very nice and was quick to answer the questions I had.
This is my favorite DLO location!! The staff is professional, efficient, and friendly. I would highly reccomend them!
