Its funny how I chose this one to go to for one it was close to my job walking distance and for 2 I thought with the area my care should be excellent or at least great but I was devastatingly WRONG.I walked up there while I was at work my boss gave me a short amount of time I go in complaining of stomach pains etc they do urine and have me swab its been day 2 now then and I get call and they say oh Im need u come back and take urine culture Im why would I have do that when I already have now they on the phone lost dont know anything but Im steady getting harassed about my billing payment when Im through the governmentSo now I have no results I have ask my boss again the next dam day can I leave and go back up there funny how I come n with myedical card and now they got the pee and I get called again they say everything negative ok Koo but remember I took 2 TESTS not 1 later I get a call again someone different repeating what the last person jus got off the phone and said so wheres my other test results now they lost on that smh I tried beat going to hospital and they couldnt even help nor were they prompt like their name saysNow here its been 2wks later and I cant fit the time for a hospital visit with kids school starting back lots of last minute things and hair dos to do work Im always there when Im off Im exhausted or have to free the baby sitter I am not mobile so trying to get to this when I did already but have no results and feel completely ill is crazyBut its funny how I couldnt get results n my piss got lost when I didnt present a form of medical insurance the area their located would make u think they care but while time I would never go back or recommend anyone else to

The most unprofessional service I have ever had. The cartoon character DR. is a joke. Should not be called a health care facility!

There were a few people waiting, so it took about an hour and 20 minutes to be seen, but all of the staff were very sweet and caring. I had to get stitches in my thumb and doctor Katy Northcutt was very good, told me everything that was going on the whole time while my head was turned, and stitched me up quick. They also noticed my tetanus shot was due so they went ahead and did that while I was there. I’m glad they said something or I wouldn’t have known! Thank you ladies.

I’ve come twice now for the vaccine and they’ve managed to screw it up twice. If you want your time wasted and want to come to an appointment and not have what they said they’d have available for you, this is a great place to go! First time the new girl scheduled me on a day they weren’t giving the vaccine, second time they ran out and didn’t bother to tell me until I waited 10 minutes to get it. Expect to have your time wasted.

I waited for 30 minutes past my appointment time wouldnt have been so annoying if desk staff would have let me know they hadnt forgotten about me. After meeting my Dr I realize why. Hes a goofy elderly man who talks a lot and make a bunch of corny jokes. HOWEVER he is the first doctor I have ever felt has taken me seriously and made me feel confident that well figure out whats going on with me. And the front desk staff was very nice. So Ill be back even if theres a long wait time its worth it to know that my Dr listens to me and is really trying to help.

This place is a joke. I went in at 8am with excruciating ear pain, so much so that I was in tears. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait, no big deal. 2 hours later I was finally called back to be seen. The tech who took my vitals and checked me in was super sweet. She also was very sympathetic to my situation the Dr came in, didn’t introduce himself at all. He never asked me any questions concerning ear. He just kept cracking very odd jokes and wasn’t taking anything seriously. He told me “it wouldn’t hurt you to smile”, I told him I was having the worst pain of my life. His response? “Yeah, pain hurts”. He looked in my ear and said I had an ear infection. He did not listen to anything that I had to say. He then sent a script over to the pharmacy for numbing drops and an antibiotic, only to be told by the pharmacy that numbing drops had been pulled off the market over a year ago. So, 2 plus hours later, no relief for my ears in sight. Total waste of time. I ended up going to a different prompt care, found out that not only was my ear infected, my eardrum has slightly ruptured as well.

Ive been here 3x so far. The first 2 times were great. The 3rd time left me questioning the whether they really knew what they were doing. I was in for something else, but since Id recently been sick & still had a bad cough I decided to get that checked out as well.I told them Id had a fever for a couple days with a bad cough and it was going around my work (I work with children) and everyone was out sick for several days at a time. She told me it was allergies and to try Robitussin for the cough.Really? All my students and coworkers were out sick for days due to allergies? Parents were calling in saying not only was the kid sick, but the entire family was sick. This was not allergies.By the way, the cough is still there. I resorted to my expired inhaler/Albuterol due to coughing so hard I had tears running down & a hard time breathing.3/5 stars for the nice reception people and the first two doctors I saw there that were great.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Arrived shortly after opening time at 8 am. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. As I sit in the waiting area for over an hour, crying due to excrutiating pain, I finally asked if I would be seen soon. I was told Id be next, and waited about another 20 minutes. The nurse was friendly; she told me I had high blood pressure yet it was never addressed again during my visit. The doctor was being extremely strange and obnoxious, talking about things that a person who is sick or in pain isnt worried about. I could tell he didnt know what was wrong with me and jumped to any conclusion that he could. Now, I have to pay for a worthless doctor visit and an expensive antibiotic that I know isnt what I need. The doctor couldnt even recommend ways to help me feel better. I feel disturbed giving these people my money and that they are in charge of other peoples health. Please, go anywhere else before you go here. I am new to Peoria and wish I would have known sooner.

I was set up with an appointment at this place from out of town. I didnt realize I was being sent to a facility comparable to the health department.I got there 20 minutes early for my 2pm appointment and wasnt seen until 2:30. I ran into a lot of attitude problems, I think mostly this is due to the fact that the office is under staffed. The girls are running around frantically, I felt like they were mad that they had patients to work with at all. Seemed like they didnt have enough time to do their work efficiently. The first nurse I saw came in with a latex glove that had the finger broken off - and began to draw blood from me! She literally seemed as though she did not have the time to put on a fresh pair of gloves, or even pay attention to her sanitation practices. She seemed very out of breath and had to keep running around constantly. It was very unsettling. I am concerned with their sanitation practices. The worst of all though, one of the nurses was rushing me through a fairly complex test. When I struggled with it under pressure, she insulted my intelligence. I tried explaining to her that this was difficult for me, and she again insisted I had trouble following directions. Her way of helping me was yelling the direction loudly and slowly at me? It was very condescending. I wonder how much professional experience some of the people working there have? It was very frustrating, I would never go back there again! There were a couple nice nurses, and the doctor seemed to be ok. But the main people you have to deal with seem to be very cold with poor bed side manor. Do whatever you can to go to a better health care clinic!

We called to get a strep throat test. The receptionist- after being on hold 30 minutes- said they can’t do a strep test if you’ve had a positive Covid test- which we did 3 days ago. The strep is an additional “bonus” I guess. Anyway— they were completely useless. Drove to OSF Urgo- walked right in and they tested and helped. Unity Point isn’t “prompt” or “express” or even “care”. They are just there but completely ineffective.

I have Dr.Ausfaul. Not sure if that’s exactly how you spell his name. But he was able to treat, and diagnose a rare condition I’ve had since 11years old. I’ve been to several HUNDRED doctors in 10 yrs to figure out what was happening to my body, with the weirdest symptoms ever! It was a little bit of a wait, but well worth it for the doctor I have. Super funny, caring, compassionate. ♥️❤️ Love these people!

This first care is a joke. Do not got here for anything. My wife went in for what we thought was bug bite on Tuesday July 14th. She went in around 3:30 or 4 knowing her situation gave her a hour and half wait. She was finally called in and back out in 10-15 minutes. Doctor took a swab sample because he or she thinks it might be shingles. Like any doctor prescribes amoxicillin and mupirocin ointment. Not even 24 hours and wife broke out in a rash and started getting bumps all over her body. She called they told to come in and said ohh it might me an allergic reaction, so they switched her from amoxicillin to prednisone. Today is Saturday and yes folks you guessed it right no test results or any call from doctor. My wife has called them over 4 times with no positive response or ETA on results. Now I am not a professional but if a Patient comes in twice and your have seen her twice what would the risk level be?? Yes she has been in pair with a rash on both feet since Wednesday and can barely walk. But with her being a strong woman she has pushed through so far to hear back. At this point we have gone to another facility whom we can trust and know will receive good CARE.

I see why this place is only 2 stars. After explaining the situation of exposure etc etcNurse or whoever tells me to come by and wait outside to get tested for covid. Calls upon arrival verifys everything insurance etc. Nurse again okay well right out to test you. 10 minutes later someone comes outside and says we arent testing you and flicks her hand at me like go away and tells me to get tested elsewhere. No wonder this pandemic wont go away.

I need a patient advocate to reach out to me - otherwise I will figure it out on my own. I want to make sure that nobody else is treated the way I was yesterday. Its a shame your doctor called me in a random room and told me she didnt like me and didnt want to treat me, among other things. I may not have a PhD, but I do have a Masters in Business and I know the things that were done to me were not morally or legally correct. Contact me.

Bit slow getting in. Took a lil over an hour.Staff expansion would be helpful.Nurse seemed a bit in a hurry without trying to compromise my treatment, she was still on point though.Doctor was also on point.Which can often be a coin flip at unity point/methodist.And Brittany was veeeery helpful in making every effort to help me understand a mix up in my file information.Wouldve been a 4 star rating if not for her help.BIG thanx to her! 👍
